  Val is a joy to work with!

  Val is incredible!! We worked with her for our engagement photos on Notre Dame's campus this past fall. Given that we live out of town, we greatly appreciated her flexibility and responsiveness throughout the planning process. During the engagement shoot, she quickly put us at ease, seamlessly talked us through poses/prompts, and overall facilitated a fun, memorable morning! She even had preview photos ready within a day, and they captured our relationship so beautifully! Val is an absolute joy to work with, we cannot recommend her enough.

  Valerie is SO talented! An absolute pleasure to work with!!!!

  From our our very first conversation, Valerie was incredibly attentive and invested in learning about us and what we envisioned for our wedding day. We got to meet Val at our engagement session -- and she made that session so much fun! Val immediately made us feel comfortable being in front of the camera. She truly is your hype woman and I felt so supported by her throughout the wedding planning process, and especially during our wedding day. Val was communicative, responsive, and quick to adapt to any last minute changes we had to make during our day. I was so relaxed knowing that I could count on her -- she shows up for you and puts her heart and soul into capturing every detail, big or small, of your day.
  
  I highly, highly recommend Val!! She will make you feel beautiful, natural, and comfortable in front of the camera. And her work truly speaks for itself! I cannot wait to have these amazing photos for a lifetime -- we are obsessed!

  Quality and Care

  100% I would recommend Valerie Michele Photography as your photographer for any special occasion. Val just did my wedding a few weeks ago and she was so professional and personable. From the very beginning she was very understanding and really desired to help us create the day that my wife and I wanted. What I also appreciated was how very detail oriented she was and her plethora of valuable resources and information to help in times when you as the client are unsure. Not to mention, her talent to take photos that capture a lot of life and love. You cannot go wrong choosing her as your photographer.

  Beautiful wedding photography from Val

  Val's work speaks for itself - we could not have asked for better photos from our wedding! They will always be a keepsake for us as we fondly look back on our special day. We greatly appreciated her guidance for poses as well. Thanks Val!

  LOVE Valerie Michele

  I can’t say enough great things about Valerie. From our first meeting, we knew she was the one! She was flexible with our unusual wedding day timeline when other photographers were not (we had a 9 AM ceremony with an evening reception). She kept in touch over the course of our engagement, sending a bridal care package and a super helpful “guide for Val brides” before our engagement session. I used tons of her tips throughout the process and on our wedding day. Our wedding day was perfect. She showed up early and stayed late. She was firm in giving directions to my rowdy family, but also respectful and adaptable. And most importantly, she produced a STUNNING sneak peek of photos ON our actual wedding day. I cannot wait to see the full gallery - I know it will be beautiful. I would highly recommend Valerie Michele Photography for any bride across the country.

  Val Rocks!!!

  There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Val is and her eye for the perfect picture! From our engagement session to our wedding day, Val made sure we were comfortable and having FUN with her bubbly and outgoing personality. Our wedding day ran smoothly because Val was so organized and made sure it was all about us! Valerie went above and beyond of a "normal" photographer by helping us create a wedding day timeline, worked with our date change (thanks Covid), calls and texts to check in, and working through crazy weather on our wedding day. We are so thankful to have Val's friendship as well as her capturing our special day. Val is truly a blessing and I recommend her to EVERY bride!

  I have so many wonderful things that I could say about Valerie! Everything from the first meeting and showing me all of her work and different pictures she has taken in the past, you could see the sheer joy that she has when she gets to work with you. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable during our engagement session and allowed us to have fun and enjoy it together! She is so quick at responding anytime I had a question, even not related to photography but wedding in general she would do whatever she could to help. The wedding day went so smoothly thanks to her planning and organizing to ensure that all the pictures we wanted were taken care of. She also stepped in wherever she could help and was just so encouraging and supportive! Her pictures are beautiful and we love every single one of them, so bright and airy! I would definitely highly recommend Val to anyone and everyone! She is absolutely wonderful!!

  Easy Going and Organized

  I can’t say enough wonderful things about Valerie! From the very beginning she was super easy to connect with and made the process fun and seamless for us both. Our first meeting was relaxed and genuine. She was so thoughtful and walked us through the entire process and what we could expect. Our engagement session was somewhat of a training session working together. She taught us all the tips and tricks to help us look our best, and helped us better understand what we might need to do come the wedding day. The turnaround time for our pictures was also super fast. On the wedding day, Val was super organized and again guided us throughout our journey. She made the whole day about us and we can’t thank her enough for her friendship and support on our journey. Her work is absolutely stunning. I love how bright and airy our pictures are and her creative image. Getting to work with Valerie has been a blessing. I highly recommend her to any bride!

  Personal, Organized, Great with Interracial Photography

  Val did a really amazing job. Choosing a photographer made me nervous, because I cared a lot how my wedding photos would turn out! There were hundreds that we absolutely loved. She is a good communicator, has a clear plan, is enthusiastic, and cares about what makes each wedding personal and special. She did a great job with photographing my husband, who has very dark skin, alongside me, who has very light skin. If you're looking for a photographer who understands how to photograph an interracial couple even in bright sunlight, she will do a great job.
