Beautiful Venue with Awesome Staff
We had our ceremony and reception at the Alumni Center and I couldn't say nice enough things about the venue and the staff! The building is beautiful, spacious and the price is a great value compared to other venues in Columbia. They also have a wide variety of options and prices depending on how much of the space you'd like to use. The building is big enough that you can get ready, take pictures, and have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in a different space within the building. It made it so much less stressful to be in the same place all day and still have enough room for all of the wedding events. All of the staff at the Alumni Center are wonderful as well, they're always quick to reply and so polite. The Alumni Center gives you an assigned event coordinator and she coordinated with me during the planning process and was there all day and night during the wedding. She was amazing, she even helped bundle my dress before the reception and brought us dinner and drinks right after our reception entrance was over. Having them as our venue was the best decision we made, I would highly recommend it to anyone!
