Naomi was an absolute joy to work with, and we cannot recommend her more! From start to finish, she went above and beyond in every way. She was so kind, responsive, organized, helpful, and creative. Throughout the planning process, she was always there to answer questions, even if it was just about decorations that would look best, flowers, or even helping us choose the perfect shirt color for the groomsmen since my dress wasn't completely white. Every time we spoke, her genuine excitement and passion for what she does was very obvious.
On our wedding day, Naomi and her partner, Jen, were simply incredible. She made my husband and me feel SO comfortable and like we’d known her for years. She blended in seamlessly with our guests, and so many people commented on how kind she was. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to capture the most meaningful moments truly blew us away!
We are beyond grateful to have had Naomi as our photographer and couldn't have asked for better. Her photos are absolutely beautiful and I REALLY hope to be able to have her as a photograpgher for us again in the future!! -

We loved working with Naomi! She made everything super easy and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Naomi scouted our locations ahead of time to make sure she knew the best spots and angles for lighting. She was also open and receptive to our ideas for photos too. Naomi is very organized and helped us to create our timeline for our wedding day. We also loved that she included price ranges on her website so there were no surprises. She is the only photographer we contacted and it was a perfect fit from the start! -

We were so happy to work with Naomi on our engagement photos and to have her there to capture our special day!
Naomi was one of the first vendors I booked when it came to planning my wedding. She is incredibly genuine, sweet, and made the whole process seem less daunting. In addition to being an amazing photographer, she is also a huge resource. She provided a list of other vendors (florists, planners, hair & makeup, etc) that she recommended. And she was extremely helpful when it came to picking a location for our engagement shoot and determining logistics for photos on the wedding day. She made sure we were able to get all the photos I wanted, including a first look at our hotel and a separate location before we even got to our venue.
And of course I have to mention how exceptional her work is! Naomi did an amazing job capturing the entire day and helped preserve memories from one of the most special events of our lives! The photos are gorgeous and so full of life. We could not be more grateful to have them. Also, Naomi is so warm and compassionate and really knows how to make you feel completely at ease in front of the camera, which is not always easy!
I could not recommend Naomi and Urban Row enough!

First of all, Naomi is an absolute delight to work with: she is enthusiastic, responsive, and so so sweet. She immediately put us (we are not photo people) at ease in front of the camera and had the BEST ideas for pictures. The pictures themselves? Stunning. She captured everything we wanted and everything we didn’t even know we wanted until we saw them! She and her team were such a fun and critical part of our day, I cannot recommend them enough. -

My husband and I had a very small outdoor wedding, and we knew we wanted it to feel joyful, unique and intimate, and booking Naomi was undoubtedly the best vendor decision we made. From the moment we had our consult call I knew she understood our vision, and would do what she could to maximize our short amount of time and modest budget, while giving us the beautiful photos I so desired, as a creative entrepreneur myself. Throughout the planning process she confirmed this gut feeling, guiding me towards other vendors (like our amazing florist) she thought would align, joyfully including our dog in our engagement session, and not batting an eye when our ceremony had to be pushed back an hour with no advance warning, due to unforeseen circumstances, changing the whole timeline of the event. She even took photos in advance of our wedding stationery I designed, for fear there wouldn't be enough time to give it the love it deserved in our short time together day-of. I cried when our previews came in, and got teary again today with the delivery of our whole gallery, because she captured more than I even knew, not just of the obvious planned parts, but the small little moments that made it specifically our day, with our closest family and friends. We both said, "she was somehow everywhere, but with such light feet, we didn't even realize!" The photos are so beautiful and spontaneous in a way I stylistically love, but they also feel so very US, and that means the world to me. I can't wait to show them to our grandchildren one day. I couldn't recommend Naomi more highly, and I'm grateful to have gained a friend through the experience! -

My husband and I eloped at the DC courthouse in December and wanted all of the sentiment behind a wedding without the actual wedding: the private vows, espresso martinis and wedding cake, and the the beautiful photos. I reached out to Naomi prior to even getting engaged and she became a crucial part of our courthouse elopement planning. We ended up doing a 3 hour microwedding option with her and went to 4 locations: the courthouse, a DC cocktail bar, the Supreme Court, and the Jefferson Memorial. The day was so fun and perfect & our photos are absolutely stunning. We got our previews in 3 days with over 20 pictures and then the rest of our gallery (with hundreds of beautiful photos) one week later. I am obsessed with our gallery and have no idea how we are going to narrow down our favorites to print for our home! We would recommend Naomi to every couple getting married-- she was perfect and amazing in every way! -

Wonderful to Work With!
Naomi at Urban Row Photography was a pleasure to work with for my recent wedding. She was very helpful, responsive and organized throughout the process, answering questions quickly about timeline, hair and makeup, and vendor recommendations. From engagement photos to the wedding day coverage, she brought positive energy, problem solving skills, and made taking photos so much more fun and comfortable than two awkward people thought was possible. We knew we wanted to work with Naomi as soon as we started wedding planning, since she was the photographer for two of our other friends' weddings and they raved about her. She truly has a unique eye for capturing artistic images with her background in architecture and knows how to best take advantage of the background buildings and light. She has a gift of making images come to life and capturing so much movement and emotion in a still image.
Naomi was always extremely responsive and reliable from every step of the process, from our initial emails, to helping us plan our engagement shoot, and helping with wedding day logistics, especially when we had to pivot our initial first look location just days before our wedding. She was always willing to go above and beyond and help out with any task beyond photography. She also gave a ton of helpful recommendations regarding vendors, design, and much more. There were often times during our wedding day when we were overwhelmed with decision-making, and we fully trusted her opinion.
Most importantly, Naomi has an effortless, comforting joy that she exudes from the second you meet her. We usually feel a bit awkward taking a ton of pictures, but with Naomi we always felt so comfortable and relaxed, and it genuinely felt like we were hanging out with a friend on our wedding day. Naomi will forever be a part of our wedding day memories, and we are so glad we chose her! -

Not unlike many reviewers, I too have taken forever to write a review for Urban Row. I found myself putting it off for another day, another weekend, etc, as I felt so strongly that I needed to “do it right”, to find the right words to describe just how fantastic Naomi is and how grateful we are that we were lucky enough to have her as our wedding photographer. She was everything we could have ever wanted and more: a fantastic photographer with a keen eye for capturing all the moments that mattered (big and small), a skilled artist (a past architect, which clearly informs her artistic eye) who knows how to direct her subjects (something we were so nervous about – wanting to be guided into flattering positions but yet still have things feel natural and not too posed) with care, an incredible resource for all things wedding-related, and most of all a kind, warm, welcoming soul.
Naomi was the first vendor we booked after our venue. We felt that a wedding photographer was one of the most critical vendors for our day, and as people who have never felt super comfortable in front of the camera, we definitely had some anxiety about finding “the one”. My now-husband and I are rather type-A people; I especially can be pretty risk-averse, preferring to take the time to make all important decisions in my life with preparation and care. As such, we had all intentions of speaking with multiple potential photographers to suss out who was the best fit for such an important moment in our lives. Yet when I came across Naomi and Urban Row, something just felt right. When speaking to her on an introductory Zoom call, we sensed her talent, warmth, and enthusiastic spirit, as I imagine you quickly will too. In a very un-ourselves type of way, we just knew we had to book her.
When it came time for our engagement photos (included in every wedding package), Naomi was incredibly prepared. She sent a detailed questionnaire to get to know us and our story better and provided helpful insight as to when and where to do them (her blog is a fantastic resource for so many things – look up the post she has on 36 locations for engagement sessions in Baltimore) as well as suggestions, even, of what to wear (two outfits, because she brings her own pop-up changing station!!)! Again showing her detail-oriented nature, she arrived early to our location, even though it was a popular one she had photographed before, to scope out potential shots with the light that day. We were nervous but ended up having the best time with her that day taking our photos, and we were so happy with the genuine, beautiful, joyful results which we received not long after our afternoon together.
Once our wedding came around, seeing Naomi again felt like seeing an old friend. About two weeks before our wedding, she organized a final call with us and our coordinators to go over all the details, and it felt so nice just to see how “handled” she clearly had everything – truly down to a science. The security that we felt with Naomi & her team was worth its weight in gold at an otherwise stressful time. On the day of our wedding, she and her second shooter (Margarita, who we also loved!!) came in with the same genuine excitement, care, support, and precision that we had come to expect from the Urban Row brand. Together, they captured priceless moments of myself and my now-husband, but also candid moments of our closest friends and family members on that day – something we will treasure always.
I am so grateful that we trusted our gut feeling in those early days and that we were able to have Urban Row Photography by our sides on the most important day of our lives! We are excited to work with Naomi in the future for other photo opportunities, as we honestly just miss her (lol!) – we looked forward to every interaction we had with her, as we left each and every one feeling comfortable, supported, and cared for. We couldn’t be happier with the photos she and Margarita captured for us and can’t wait to see all the joy they will continue to bring to the people lucky enough to work with Urban Row. -

Where to even begin?? Naomi is THE BEST around. We knew our wedding photos were one of our biggest priorities for our special day and wanted to really make sure to pick the right photographer. From the moment we first met with Naomi, we knew she was perfect! My husband and I were both pretty nervous about being in front of the camera and Naomi put us at ease right from the start. We had such a lovely time walking around our neighborhood with Naomi during our engagement shoot and felt so comfortable right away! Even on what felt like the hottest day of the summer, we came out looking BEYOND our best and so natural :)
Fast forward to our wedding in March and Naomi and her second shooter (Bekah) were such a highlight of an already wonderful day! They were punctual, organized, prepared, kind, hype girls who captured us in what felt like such a natural way. They gave attention to what mattered to us– candid, natural, family, fun!! The pictures that came out were so us– which is exactly what we wanted! It was a big wedding and a busy day and Urban Row just flowed with us seamlessly throughout the day– from getting ready, to the church, to the rainy reception (yay for clear umbrellas!)– they did it all! The blog post and photos that Naomi shared felt like it captured who we are and our day perfectly. We will cherish these photos and Naomi’s kind words forever.
Oh, one more thing! Naomi’s vendor recommendations were top notch. She even had a great recommendation to cater to our pups on our special day (Furever & Fur Always). Her love of our sweet little pups was THE best!!! To capture our energetic dogs so well in their full tuxedo glory and excitement was so sweet. It was nice to have a fellow dog lover on board for the day!! -

Partnering with Urban Row was THE best decision we made!
Where to begin?! We discovered Naomi and Urban Row somewhat serendipitously via pictures that our church had reposted from her blog. We were super excited from the get-go, because the blog post made it clear that Naomi had experience shooting at both our church (which we were worried would be challenging for a photographer because it is dark and old) and our reception venue, and she had done an absolutely beautiful job. However, it was really the first meeting with Naomi that sealed the deal. Naomi blew us away with her friendly professionalism and how generous she was with her time and ideas. We could tell she genuinely cared about us and our wedding experience by the end of our consultation, and we hadn't even hired her yet! Transparently, choosing Urban Row was an investment for us, but after meeting with Naomi, we knew she would be worth it (and looking back now, we were absolutely right). Naomi was an excellent guide throughout our wedding planning process and answered every question we had with patience and from a place of obvious expertise. Our engagement session was an absolute joy, with Naomi helping us feel comfortable and embracing our desire to incorporate our neighborhood, Baltimore "landmarks" and dog into the shoot. She also gushed over how cute our pup was, and any dog parent knows it is a special person who thinks your dog is as adorable as you do! Naomi returned our engagement photos with lightning speed, and we were SO pleased with them. We looked happy and authentic in every frame, and this just made us even more excited for our wedding day! Leading up to our day, Naomi worked with us and our planner to design a comprehensive day-of timeline, which helped us feel prepared and at ease. On our wedding day, Naomi was punctual, sweet and understanding, and her genuine excitement for us and all of our wedding details was truly touching. She and her second photographer, Margarita, captured so many special moments throughout the day and even assisted with things outside of their job descriptions -- shout out to Naomi for contacting our planner to sort out a transportation SNAFU and to Margarita for positioning my dress' train perfectly in every portrait!! Again, Naomi returned our wedding gallery in no time at all, and we absolutely LOVE every single picture. Naomi is a master at capturing moments, big and small. Looking at our pictures, we are able to go back in time and experience the love and joy we felt that day all over again. Working with Naomi was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding day, and I would (and do!) recommend Urban Row to anyone with photography needs. If you are looking for a photographer who will care about you and your experience, provide excellent service AND deliver high-quality photos quickly, look no further... Naomi is the one! -

the words don't exist. Naomi—as a human, as an artist, as a business owner—is phenomenal, incomparable, extraordinary. we were very nervous about finding a good photographer for our wedding because neither of us feel great about having our photos taken, so it was the first vendor we wanted to check off our list. we talked with a few before we met Naomi, and when we did, we knew there was no other human on the planet we wanted to work with more.
even beyond being a true genius behind the camera, she runs her business like a genuine pro—you'll never feel confused, uncertain, or self-conscious about what she's doing, when, or how. she is reliably communicative (but never overwhelming), gives great advice on other vendors, and is so thoughtful about the overall design, look, and rhythm/timeline of your wedding day.
when it came to the actual photo sessions, we were shocked at how comfortable and relaxed Naomi made us feel. for both our engagement photos and our wedding day, she navigated every hurdle (absurdly strong winds, extra sunshine, a little rain and clouds, lots of family members) with ease. you'll feel fun, confident, beautiful, and *cared for* in front of her lens. and your guests will literally be blown away (and won't be able to resist gushing about her to you at the wedding!) about how she was so obviously committed to capturing every special moment of your day, even if that means sprinting around with multiple cameras strapped to her body and hiring the BEST second shooters (Julie was INCREDIBLE!) to back her up.
and the photos you'll receive at the end of it all will blow you away. Naomi is spectacular at capturing tiny moments you think no one else even noticed, as well as making the posed, formal shots (of the wedding party, of family) feel natural and full of love. the photos will be unlike any others you'll ever see of yourself, in large part because Naomi is all heart, all joy, all gratitude, all passion—and she pours every bit of that into her art and work.
we were SO, SO, SO indescribably lucky to claim a spot on her calendar; if you are, too, i hope you'll soak up every moment of working with her, as we have! -

This review has taken me weeks to write, because there are truly no words to capture how incredible Naomi is. My husband and I knew right away that we wanted to work with Naomi -- so much so, that we booked our wedding date & venue around her availability. From our first call with Naomi to receiving our full set of photos from her, our experience working with Naomi was remarkable!
She was truly the *most* valuable resource in wedding planning and never hesitated to answer the (many) questions that we sent her way (truly about everything - dress colors, photo locations, advice on vendors). When we reached our final details call, Naomi didn't hesitate to recommend an alternate location (due to light & traffic concerns about the one we had originally suggested), and we could not be happier. Some of our favorite photos of the day were at our first look location, which Naomi picked out & thought would better complement the day. She was right!
Naomi is not only an incredibly talented, amazing photographer, but she is also exactly the person you want by your side on your wedding day. She brings the best energy to the day & shares genuine excitement in the many special moments throughout. Her presence was calming, reassuring, positive, and energized.
I honestly cannot recommend Naomi & the URP team enough -- we not only received absolutely stunning photos from her (seriously, there are no words emphasize how much we love our photos), but we also gained a true friend in the process!

I don't have enough space on the page to list all of the wonderful things about Naomi and Urban Row Photography. From the engagement pictures through to the wedding, Naomi was genuine, organized, efficient, and responsive. My husband and I don't love taking pictures or being the center of attention, but Naomi made us feel incredibly comfortable and we had so much fun working with her. The day of our wedding was pretty cold and windy, and I was so worried that I wouldn't like the outdoor pictures but I should have known that I had absolutely nothing to worry about! Naomi sent us our sneak peek pictures just days after the wedding and I fell in love with every single one. She captured the day, the venue, and our happiness so perfectly. I can't recommend Naomi more - she is everything you could possibly want in a photographer and just in general as someone by your side on your wedding day. -

Beauty, quality, & fun!
I don't even know where to start - Naomi made Eric and I the happiest couple in the world when she photographed our engagement session and wedding this summer. When we first met her, she made us feel so comfortable and brought out the fun throughout the entire session. We knew after that the wedding was going to be amazing but could never have imagined how much fun and how beautiful the pictures would be. She captured everything and more. If you’re looking for the best wedding photographer in the universe, look no further than Naomi at Urban Row Photography. Naomi is a true gem of a person. She is a good listener, so creative, and her positive energy is contagious. My husband and I felt instantly comfortable with her from our first zoom call. When I say I’d use her if I could have another wedding, I’m not lying because she photographed my micro wedding during covid and my big wedding this past June! I also don’t feel like she’s another vendor, but a new friend. Do yourself a favor and book her for your next wedding or event! -

It's been hard to find the words to express how amazing and perfect Naomi is, as a photographer and a person. We cannot recommend Naomi more highly. Her photos are clear and stunning, and a mix of beautifully posed shots (trust her direction) and joyful candids, and she made sure that we had some sneak peeks of the wedding so soon after, which helped extend the joy of the day. Wow, where do I even start? Naomi is just absolutely unbelievable at what she does. Every ounce of this process was perfect, from our first phone call with Naomi, to our engagement photos, to our wedding.
My now husband and I never take photos. It's like pulling teeth for our friends/family to take a photo of us. Somehow Naomi made us feel so comfortable that we not just dealt with taking photos, but enjoyed it.
On top of making it an enjoyable experience, Naomi's photographs are absolutely amazing. We could not believe how amazing our engagement and wedding photographs came out. Naomi had a second photographer at our wedding, Julie, who was also fantastic! She was an extension of the same experience. Comfortable, enjoyable, and a great product!
My husband and I, as well as our family and friends, will happily enjoy their photographs for the rest of our lives.
The last thing I want to note, and more important than the product, is how good of a person Naomi is. She is so kind, caring, and loving. She genuinely cares about the people she works with which is so rare to find. Our friends have been involved in a lot of weddings. So many of them approached us and said they couldn't believe how amazing she is as a photographer and a person in general. We loved her, our friends loved her, our families loved her, and every other wedding vendor we had loved her. Urban Row Photography is a must hire. -

It is that simple! The creative brain behind Urban Row Photography, Naomi, is an absolute pleasure to work with. She understood that we weren't the most comfortable couple in front of a camera and used her unassuming demeanor and easy to follow 'coaching' to get us some truly beautiful photographs.
We also threw Naomi a curveball when we had to switch venues a few months out (to a backyard of all places) and she was a true professional about the whole thing.

It's challenging to sum up a review for Naomi in just one paragraph. You won't regret hiring Urban Row Photography. Working with Naomi is simply the best. She is kind, creative, professional, fun, helpful, and incredibly talented. Her work speaks for itself, but she brings even more to the entire process.
Everything about the consultation, planning, our engagement session, and creative calls couldn't have gone better. Naomi is organized, thoughtful, and really gets to know her couples. It was obvious at every stage how much she cares and also loves what she does. The experience felt very personal and we knew she would capture "us" on our best day ever.
Margarita was our second photographer and she was also wonderful. My husband and the groomsmen had so much fun with her and on multiple occasions after our wedding mentioned how fun, laid back and relaxed all of the group shots were compared to other weddings they've been a part of. We all truly had a great time. While we had a few things on our shot list we wanted to capture in our group photos, nothing about those or the day felt staged at all.
We were able to see the same moment from multiple angles, as well as more photos throughout the day because we had both Naomi and Margarita. Seeing our first look from multiple angles might be our favorites so far. We're so happy we made the decision to add a second photographer. Highly recommend if you're thinking about it – 100% worth it!
We had sneak peek photos within 24 hours and just received a link to the sweetest blog post with 80+ more. Our faces hurt from smiling so hard reliving the day through Naomi's blog post. They are beautiful.
She captured all of the big moments and more importantly... all of the little ones. The day flew by so quickly. The moments I didn't remember happening until we saw our photos and then the memories all came back. I can't put into words how grateful we are to have something so special and tangible so that we can relive the day and cherish with our friends and family for a lifetime. Naomi of Urban Row Photography was a dream to work with. She shot our engagement photos as well as our wedding. Every step of the way, she was both excited for our wedding but also excited for us as a couple. Before finding Naomi, my wife and I knew that we wanted a photographer who could help us tell our story with their own flair. For us, this meant not only avoiding "stereotypical" engagement/wedding photos, but applying someone who could apply their unique artistic style to their photographs. When we saw Naomi's work, we knew that she was the one.
Naomi brought her own style to the framing and lighting of her photos and had a great eye for choosing a scene. After meeting her for the first time, we thought some stars must have aligned: she was truly fun and a delight to work with. She organized our engagement photo shoot in the Bromo-Seltzer Arts Tower in Baltimore, giving us stunning photos that felt purpose-made for us. The day of our wedding, she blew us away by bringing us outside to capture the most gorgeous photo; she mixed the dark and light together and turned the rain into a curtain that wrapped myself and my wife.
If her creative flair wasn't enough, her thoroughness in preparation for our wedding was unparalleled. Her charisma when behind the camera always put a smile on our face while still remaining professional. It felt "right" when she arrived on our wedding day. Despite it being only family at that point of the day, she fit right in. Truly, there are not enough things I can say about how great Naomi was to work with. If we could do it again, we would choose Naomi again in a heartbeat. She will be the first name I give to anyone looking for a photographer and we look forward to the day we get to work with her again. -

Naomi is amazing!
Naomi was a dream to work with! She was super responsive and organized throughout all of our planning. She answered all of my little questions that I bombarded her with. She helped us put together the timeline for the wedding day and she and her second photographer kept us all on track, which was great because we never felt rushed and we could take our time and really enjoy doing the photos. And I knew after seeing our engagement photos, our wedding photos would be epic! Her style is exactly what we were going for- natural, timeless, and the perfect combination of fun and romantic! Naomi is everything you want in a photographer- creative, fun, organized, thoughtful, efficient, and equally (or possibly more) excited than you are! Naomi has been an absolute dream to work with! From engagement photos to wedding day, Naomi has been nothing but supportive and professional. We had booked Naomi in 2019 and from the first meeting, we absolutely knew she was the person that we wanted work with. She makes you feel comfortable and she is literally the best hype woman ever.
Fast forward to 2020, when COVID-19 hit, Naomi was the only vendor that checked in with us, assuring us that she was there if we needed anything at all. With all the uncertainty and the stress of planning a wedding during a pandemic, Naomi's truly made everything a little easier. About a month before our wedding, my now husband and I made the difficult decision to postpone our celebration to 2021, but still get married on our original wedding date. Naomi was very understanding and adjusted our contract where we could split the time we booked for this year and for the celebration next year. On our wedding day, Naomi was on top of everything even though we were on an extremely tight schedule. We can't imagine having anyone else as our photographer and I can honestly say YOU NEED HER ON YOUR TEAM!

I contacted Naomi fairly last-minute for an elopement. She was quick to respond, provided a free consultation and was very personable. She had a fairly in-depth questionnaire, as well, which greatly expedited our photos on the day of the wedding (notably who would be photographed/with whom).
On the day of the wedding, she was extremely easy to work with. She made everyone feel at ease and the candid photos were much more authentic as a result. After the wedding, we received our photos quickly and in a format that was easily downloadable (so we can create our own prints and albums).
I highly recommend Naomi for your "micro-wedding" or elopement. -

So many times you get photos back and you look stiff or uncomfortable - With Urban Row that is not the case! She makes you feel like a million bucks while shooting and everything seems natural. After reviewing both the engagement shoot and the wedding day we simply do not have enough house space to print all the photos we want. Every photo is a keeper and captures exactly who you are as a couple! She is so warm and welcoming, I highly recommend working with Urban Row Photogrpahy! -

Stunning images, warm and kind photographer
We loved working with Naomi at Urban Row. From our first phone call, Naomi proved to be gracious, engaging, and generous. She was a good listener, and we knew we loved working with her even before we got in front of her camera. But then when we did--for our engagement session--we were completely blown away by the pictures that resulted. We had so much fun at the engagement session, and the photos were completely stunning. They captured my relationship with my husband perfectly (except we really normally don't look that good!). We loved working with her so much that when we had to reschedule our wedding for the pandemic, we chose the date that would work best for her. The results did not disappoint. Naomi was flexible and generous (again!) as we worked out details for the day of, and let me tell you--the photos are STUNNING. We're laughing and having a genuinely good time because Naomi put us so at ease. And each picture captures the perfections of the day. It's going to be a fight to find enough wall space to hang all the images we love. -

I have so many good things to say it’s almost a struggle to write this review! When you talk to Naomi she immediately makes you feel like you’re old friends - she takes a genuine interest in getting to know you and hear all about the details of what you have planned for your wedding. And when that wedding is set to occur during the middle of a pandemic she’s flexible and communicative throughout what can be a bit of a complicated process!
Naomi is also inclusive and has spoken up personally about social justice issues and the wedding industry so you can feel confident in choosing her as part of your vendor team!
From the time we took our engagement photos, I have looked at at least some of the photos Naomi took for us on a daily basis - I love them that much. I’m pretty sure I will be looking at the photos from our tiny wedding every day for years, even after we (hopefully) have our bigger wedding.
As an added bonus, our dog is now an “Urban Row Pup” and we have amazing photos of her in both our engagement and wedding photos.
You would absolutely never know that Naomi captured our gorgeous wedding photos outside, in the middle of a pandemic, in 90 degree summer heat, while wearing a mask (coordinated to her outfit!). Her talent is amazing and I’m so glad we were able to work with her this year and will again next year! -

Lucky to be a URP Bride!
We were referred to Urban Row by our planners, The Otherside Creatives, and we fell in love with Naomi immediately. Her bubbly, enthusiastic, and warm personality welcomes your trust and her work speaks for itself. We were looking for a photographer who could capture our day as it unfolded and didn’t want to stress over posing. We were also looking for someone to capture the industrial charm of our Baltimore wedding venue, Haven Street Ballroom, and with her background in architecture, Naomi was the perfect candidate. We met with Naomi several times before the big day to talk about what was important to us, fun details, timeline, etc. Naomi shared the same degree of excitement for our details throughout the planning process, and when it came to our wedding, she was fully prepared to highlight the best and most fun parts of our day. We did an engagement shoot at Inverness brewing before our wedding and realized that “modeling” with Naomi felt more like hanging out with a friend than rote point-and-shoot. Naomi works alongside her husband, Anthony, and their chemistry as a couple translates into chemistry working together on a photoshoot. They make an incredible team, and they were considerate and collaborative with our videographer as well. When our wedding day came around, it felt like Naomi and Anthony were just special guests that I wanted to invite to our wedding, not like strangers on the outside looking in. You spend a lot of time with your photographers on your wedding day, so it’s essential to choose a team whose company you enjoy and who you want to make a part of your wedding day memories. Naomi was just that - an excellent professional who feels more like a friend.
Being a URP bride made me feel like I had my own hype squad - Naomi’s presence on social media generates a lot of excitement both for the big day and after. She is also a tremendous team player and worked closely with our planners to be the “glue” that brought all of our vendors together. After our Friday night wedding, Naomi worked tirelessly and had over 100 amazing “sneak peek” pictures edited and in our inbox by Monday morning!
Of note, I had red wine spilled all over the back of my dress as soon as I walked into our reception. Remarkably, Naomi creatively engineered our pictures so that you can hardly tell anything happened if you’re not looking very carefully for it.
In our wedding pictures, I can see how genuinely happy we all were and how much fun we were having. I credit Naomi, her incredible talent and perfectionism, welcoming personality, and team leadership - you would be lucky to get the chance to hire her for your own big day!

BLOWN AWAY! We chose URP for our wedding photos after I had a friend use her and I liked not only the look of the photos but also the fun and down to earth personality of Naomi. Honestly, my now husband and I weren't planning to do engagement photos but Naomi includes them in all of her packages and looking back it was the BEST thing, not only did we get great photos out of it but also it was perfect practice to help our wedding day go smoothly - we knew what to expect so there were no awkward moments. During the entire process Naomi was so on top of things, sent emails and helped keep us on track, she helped me immensely with my timeline day of (I did not have a wedding planner) and they even carried a water for me while we did my bridal portraits. I am so lucky to have had her with me on my wedding day. She was fun, laid back but still professional. Her and her husband make a great team and they had some ideas for some great shots while still keeping our rowdy groomsmen in line :P . We have only gotten sneak peaks back but we have just been loving every single photo. It was clear from the moment we met that 1. we were going to use her for our wedding and 2. she knew what she was doing and would help me have everything under control the day of the wedding.
Naomi was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the process--she was very helpful and made some awesome suggestions for additional vendors!
I was warned repeatedly by well-meaning friends and family that I would be disappointed if I didn’t have a wedding video. But I was confident with the right photographer we could capture all of the feelings and highlights of the day.

URP is everything you could ever want in a professional photography business. Naomi, the owner, is in tune with every detail, and her business is run as such. From the moment we first spoke, I know this was a done deal and I could trust her with the most precious memories at our wedding. She’s bright and bubbly, organized, and your #1 supporter. Every photo shoot, from the engagement session, to the wedding photos and even our makeup wedding photo session with a missing matron of honor, she made us very comfortable in front of the lens. I don’t consider myself photogenic but she was able to capture the most beautiful pictures of me, my husband, our dogs, and our loved ones. The candid photos and whispering of funny lines to each other brought out genuine laughter and beautiful smiles. She has a keen eye for finding the most interesting and beautiful backdrops. Our (unexpectedly) rainy wedding was our worst nightmare, but URP turned the weather into such beautiful photos. Their confidence reassured us that rain isn’t the worst. They’re also really amazing at photo editing, rendering some absolutely stunning outcomes. Our makeup wedding photo shoot was on the most beautiful day – sunny, leaves falling – I was happy that it wasn’t the wedding day all over again. Even if you don’t need a makeup photo shoot like we did, I’d highly recommend a post-wedding photo shoot, it was BEAUTIFUL.. what bride doesn’t want to get her makeup done, back into her dress, and have a session with just her husband and best friend?! It was many more times more relaxing than cramming in all of the photos on the day of the wedding. Seriously, budget for a weekday “wedding part 2” photo shoot – it’s so much fun. She was able get sneak peek pictures quickly and all of our edited photos back to us in amazing time – faster than expected for being the busiest season for all wedding vendors. I look at my photos nearly every day because Naomi and URP did a fantastic job capturing the memories. I hope she stays a part of our lives because I need her – her spirit, laughter, and support.
Remember to feed your vendors – they work very hard and a long time – take care of them and they’ll take care of you. -
