From the very first phone call, I knew without a doubt that Jen would be the florist for our November wedding in La Quinta, CA. Throughout the entire planning process, including my many changes to mood boards & color palettes, she was the picture of patience and worked with me through every single detail. The florals for our wedding day were ABSOLUTE MAGIC. She absolutely nailed my vision in every way, honestly, she exceeded all expectations. Not only do her passion, creativity, and talent shine through in all of her work, but she makes a conscience effort in all aspects of her company to offset the unavoidable ‘waste’ that comes with the floral industry. She works with local vendors, using blooms in season, and is able to create installations without the use of floral foam, and other environmentally toxic products. That to me, really set Urban Marigold apart from so many others in the floral world. Fast forward to our big day, and Jen was there through it all! She personally delivered the bouquets for my bridesmaids where we were getting ready, and then waited at our venue to move our ceremony florals to our reception space. She is genuinely one of the sweetest people we worked with throughout our entire wedding planning process, and we are just so grateful that we happened upon Urban Marigold. -

I had the absolute best experience working with Jen for my wedding florals! Jen was so kind, professional, and communicative throughout the entire process. She really took the time to understand my wedding vision and was so patient with me as I changed my direction a few times throughout the wedding planning process. Come wedding day, she absolutely brought my floral vision to life. I could not get over how gorgeously the florals came together! I can not thank Jen enough for all of her hard work both before and during the wedding and for creating such beautiful pieces that made my wedding day. I highly recommend Jen and Urban Marigold for all of your floral needs! -

Jen is a DREAM to work with! Right from the start with our very first phone call, she was very communicative and patient. She made it so easy to share our vision with her. She is so thoughtful and detailed oriented in creating her mood boards, which made it super easy to trust her with our florals. She is also just a thoughtful and kind person all-around. We had a specific vision to fit our wedding that celebrated my Chinese heritage and no one could have executed what we wanted more perfectly. Our family and friends loved the florals! Jen is extremely talented and tasteful in her floral selections and arrangements. We have recommended her to friends and are looking forward to another occasion to hire her again! -

Holy Moly, Jen is amazing! She worked with my now husband and I through TWO postponements because of Covid and then when the actual wedding day finally came, she pulled off the most flawless and beautiful florals ever. Jen softened up our industrial concrete jungle venue with the most glorious mix of white, peach, pink and mauve flowers. From the ceremony flower pieces on either side of my husband and I, to the sweetheart table and small Ikebana style centerpieces on each table, it was all absolutely dreamy. Jen is not a traditional florist. She knows her stuff and very much keeps up with the trends. Pretty sure she can make any vision come to life. It's also an added bonus that she's just a lovely person as well and easy to work with! I recommend her 100%!!! -

My now husband and I married in Aug 2020 (amidst all of the covid-19 chaos) and could not have picked a better florist to work with. Jen/Urban Marigold is all the things you hope all your vendors will be: prompt, professional, extremely creative and talented, patient and fairly priced. We had a smaller ceremony planned and Jen was able to execute everything beyond my expectations from beginning to end. If you are like me, you are spending A LOT of time looking over pictures, proposal and options to make sure you’re making the right choice and it fits into your budget. If you’re reading this, stop the search and you will not be disappointed with the beautiful arrangements for your special day and/or event. Thank you again, Jen! We will cherish these memories for a life time. -

Modern and unique flower design from a talented creative
Working with Jen is absolute dream! Her talent, creativity, skill and enthusiasm show in everything that she does, and she helped bring our floral vision to life for our wedding day (despite my not-so-specific direction and inability to make decisions!). She is incredibly communicative, flexible and supportive, and worked well with all of our vendors, which is such a joy when you're juggling what can feel like a million things. Jen understands how to tie everything together through color, design, shape and texture - her work is modern and unique, and she goes above and beyond for her clients. She even came to us with some additional color and design suggestions as we finalized our table set-up, venue decor, bridesmaid dress colors, etc., and it made all the difference in the final look. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into our venue for the first time. It was better than anything we could've imagined! -

Jen did the flowers for my bridal shower and they were absolutely gorgeous. She was so easy to work with and my shower wasn't just special, it was also jaw-droppingly gorgeous thanks to her! I can't recommend her highly enough! -

Amazing work & vendor!
Where do I even start? I was referred to Jen by a close friend and knew from the moment we first met that we would not just be working on my wedding, but would also become friends in the process. She is truly a genuine person and wants to see your vision come to life. I changed that vision - a complete 180 degrees and Jen was so helpful and supportive during the process! She was very informative and gave us such a great education on overall logistics and what flowers I would likely not see due to seasonality. It was so helpful for someone like me, who really knows nothing about flowers. We had the most beautiful fall arrangements and feel... Everyone agreed they were the most beautiful and unique flowers they have seen at a wedding! Jen goes outside of the box, which is so refreshing when it comes to a wedding. We worked together to the last minute - I had a couple last minute changes (a flower dog collar for my dog and some additions to cocktail hour arrangements) and Jen made sure I felt great about everything before moving forward. Is it bad that I want to have another wedding just so I can work with her and know my florals will be stunning? I definitely plan to use her services outside of weddings, thank you again so much! -

Flowers Made Our Wedding💕
WOW! I was blown away by Jen. I was extremely nervous during the entire planning process, but it was all for nothing! Jen exceeded my expectations and nailed exactly what I envisioned, and I feel I wasn’t even able to fully explain it either! We received tons of compliments on the flowers. From the beginning Jen was a thrill to work with! We were recommended to her by our planner and a friend so we contacted her right away. She was super cool and easy to talk to. Our meet up with her went smoothly and she listened to our ideas for our vision and worked with our budget! She would update the mood board with pictures of flowers so we could be in the loop of her helping our vision come true. On the day of the wedding we were blown away with all of Jen's arrangements for us. I LOVED my bouquet! and so did my bridesmaids. My husband also LOVED his boutonniere for him and the groomsmen. We got so many compliments from our guests on all the arrangements, the colors, the ribbons on the bouquets, EVERYTHING! Jen was awesome to work with and she made our vision come true. HIRE HER for her CREATIVE talent! -

Urban Marigold did an incredible job with our wedding! Jen worked with me to get a clear understanding of what we wanted, making suggestions and sending pictures, and then delivered above and beyond what I was expecting! The arrangements she brought were completely in line with my inspiration but with a little something special to make them stand out from the crowd. She also was very reasonably priced and respectful of our budget. She worked with us to suggest ways to cut things that we didn't need to make room for everything we really wanted. -

Wedding Florals that pulled my entire wedding asthetic together
Jen is a not only a consummate professional but a true creative that will execute your floral vision in the most perfect way. I was the type of bride who had to have complete trust in my vendors to deliver quality work with minimal guidance and Jen did just that...her arrangements essentially pulled together the look of my entire wedding and she executed that off only a few conversations and a beautiful vision board she sent me. I honestly did not have one worry and or follow up with Jen on anything which saved me so much time and energy. I would highly recommend her for any projects. And beyond the execution I could see her tears around the beauty of the day ...I normally hate cheesy stuff like that but when its genuine you know someone really cares about you and their work and that warmed my black heart. haha!

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful Jen is as a person and as a florist. She has infectious positive energy, outrageous creative talent and an excitement to capture your vision and put it into florals.
I had a small wedding in Joshua Tree National Park. I didn’t need a lot for the space we created but somehow Jen made a bouquet and boutonnière that captured my personality, the desert and the entire wedding vibe. I let Jen have creative freedom and we only had a conversation or two about it and what she created was PURE MAGIC. I received SO many compliments and I still have it dried and hanging as I write this.
To make a long story short, I highly recommend Jen and I would use her again and again. Thank you Jen! -

Jen is an absolute flower goddess! No review will not do her or her work justice. She made all of my wedding flower dreams come true and exceeded all of my expectations! She was so easy to work with and was great at collaborating and mixing both my ideas along with her own. I shared my vision with her and trusted her to make it come to life! The moment you talk to her, you’ll trust her fully! Her charisma and genuine joy shows in everything she does. In the midst of wedding planning, working with genuinely kind and trustworthy people makes all the difference! What I also really appreciated about Jen was she was always conscious and respected my budget and always provided alternative options/ideas. From bouquets and aisle accent pieces to perfect little bud vases, every little detail was perfection! I may be biased, but Jen is the best of the best! Floral Genius
Jen creative genius was absolutely one one of the best things about my wedding and planning experience. She was thoughtful and creative while helping me make decisions. She was always a phone call or email away when I had new ideas, she was an amazing sounding board. But it was her integrity I admired the most in all of our conversations, she was respectfully honest with me when I wanted something out of my budget or when I wanted 10,000 things on table. At the end of the day I gave her vibes and a mood board and let her work her magic. I received so many compliments on how it looked but I can’t take the credit, I let her use her talent and gave her space to create. She took my words and build me something I didn’t even know I wanted. If you want someone to build you your dream look no further! 💕 -

The highlight of our wedding day!
Jen at Urban Marigold was so easy to work with and blew us away with the florals she put together. All of our wedding guests commented on how unique and beautiful the bouquets were as well as the table decorations. Jen did a wonderful job of bringing my vision to reality. I had a floral geometric theme and Jen nailed our centerpieces. They were beautiful and we got tons of compliments. I loved my bouquet, as did the bridesmaids and the groomsmen all commented on the great boutonnières.
