From the beginning I was very impressed by Updos for I Dos responsiveness - they are extremely professional and quick to answer any questions or concerns.
Every single team member I met throughout the wedding process during my trial and the day itself was so sweet and did amazing work - not a single member of my party was disappointed with the magic they were able to work.
They were great with the notes I had during the trial and I felt like a true princess on the big day.
I also want to give extra props because of the size they were able to work with - they did hair and make up for not just me (the bride) but also 11 other people! And this was with different hair and skin type as well. Yet with all that, they were STILL able to do it in a timely manner while helping everyone feel special and beautiful.

I hired Updos for I Dos for my wedding in April 2025 and they were fantastic. They were on-time, prompt, responsive to people’s requests, flexible, and we all looked fabulous! My mom and I had gotten a trial and had some tweaks to our style and they were super open and receptive. The communication was great to ensure we were all getting what we wanted. I would 100% recommend!

During my trial, both Tara and Lizeth took time to discuss with me my likes and dislikes and provided me with valuable and professional feedback to narrow down the perfect look! On my wedding day, they arrived early, with such a positive and calming vibe. They got along so well with my bridal party and family. That morning, I had some last minute adjustments from my trial and Tara did an amazing job, listening, following through, and offering additional suggestions to get the perfect bridal look! Lizeth also was able to adjust my trial hair to make the perfect bridal updo! I received so many compliments about both my hair and makeup the day of our wedding and whenever I share photos with family and friends. Updos For I Dos is the absolute best hair and makeup team to work with!! The calm, kind, and fun energy they bring help you feel your best on your wedding day! From the moment I met my team at the trial, everyone made me feel so relaxed and at ease about the process. They are all so easy to be open and honest with and make the morning of your wedding so seamless and fun! I ended up switching a few things from my trial on my actual wedding day and both Steffani and Katie were so accommodating. I was blown away with how they made my vision come to life and could not be happier with my final look!! We had 13 people getting hair and makeup done the morning of my wedding and the team kept right on schedule the entire time without anyone feeling rushed or stressed (and we even got to sleep in a little!). They are so easy to plan and communicate with, responding quickly and with so much helpful information. For our wedding, we worked with Kelly for hair and India for makeup. Both of them were extremely talented and easy to work with. During my trial, they asked and answered many questions in order to make sure my styles were perfect and matched my dress and personality. With both hair and makeup, I still felt like I looked like myself the entire time which was important to me. On our wedding day, they created perfect styles for me, my four bridesmaids, and both my mother and the mother of the groom. All of the hair and makeup lasted and looked great throughout the ceremony, reception, and the entire night. The makeup artists and hair stylists are all talented at updos for I do’s. I had them at my sisters wedding 5 years ago and this past summer for my own. Both times they were great!
The morning of my wedding in Baltimore, there was a race that went right by my hotel. The makeup artists and hair stylists did not hesitate to just park a mile away from the hotel and book it to the hotel on foot with their big suitcases of products! They all showed up with a smile after that and got right to work. They even called and texted me to let me know about the slight delay. I was blown away at how hard they worked to stay on schedule and keep my day perfect. And we finished with plenty of time still!
To boot, my makeup and hair were perfect the entire day, for about 12 hours I’d say. My hair stayed curled and my makeup didn’t run even after crying, dancing, and sweating.

When choosing hair and makeup artists for my wedding, there were so many options to choose from. Updos for I Dos stood out to me for their transparent pricing, great communication, and ability to offer the services I was looking for. They were wonderful at guiding me through the process from booking through my wedding day. I opted to do hair and makeup trails and appreciated the chance to work with my hair and makeup artists before the big day. It worked out that my trials took place on the morning of my bridal shower so I could get feedback on my look from my bridesmaids and friends. On the day of the wedding, my matron of honor, my bridesmaids, and I had fun working with the artists and jamming out to their music playlist. We all looked and felt beautiful, and the artists’ hard work was apparent in my wedding photos. As someone who rarely does their own hair and makeup, I was happy that my final look was a slightly elevated version of my natural appearance, which is exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend Updos for I Dos to other brides looking for hair and/or makeup artists!

The best hair and makeup! book Updos for I Dos!
The Updos for I Dos team is amazing and so talented. My wedding planner recommended Updos to me and I could not be happier with having worked with them. I was matched with Liseth for hair and Andy for makeup, they both are so talented. Throughout the whole process the Updos team was very responsive, communicatIve and easy to work with. Before my trial they gave me opportunity to share inspo pics they could see exactly what I wanted. I sent the pictures and when I went to the trial both Liseth and Andy listened and did a great job. I did make a few changes however, I did love my look and the changes were very minor. On the day of the wedding both Liseth and Andy were on time and they did an awesome job on everyone’s hair and makeup. Stunning wedding hair and makeup!
One of the smartest decisions we made when planning our wedding was hiring Updos for I Dos! It was such an honor and a privilege to have worked with Dana, Suzy, Andy, and Ashlie. Dana made my hair look absolutely stunning making me feel like a beautiful bride. She made me feel heard and cared for from our first meeting to the big day this past November. Suzy also created beautiful styles for my girls. Their hair looked truly amazing. Andy and Ashlie also took the time to create stunning looks on all my girls. Their makeup was flawless and everyone loved the way they looked. Communicating with the team at Updos for I Dos was also so so easy and they responded very quickly. Lovely Wedding Morning with Updos for I Dos
Updos For I Dos was an incredible choice for our wedding day! They were so professional, fun, and helpful. Because of our larger party, I decided to hire two hair stylists (no makeup) and they were both lovely to work with. We ran ahead of schedule because of their expertise and were all very relaxed. I made a small change morning of with my hair and loved the way it turned out. Updos For I Dos was also very reasonably priced for the DC area. We used Updos for I Dos for our wedding, and it was a fantastic experience. Alex, our hairstylist, and Andy, our makeup artist, were top-notch.
Alex expertly created eight unique hairstyles for the moms, bridesmaids, and myself on the morning of the wedding. She was efficient, calm, and brought our hairstyle ideas to life effortlessly.
Andy did a fantastic job with the makeup for six of the girls, including moms, bridesmaids, and myself. Even when some of us weren't sure about the exact makeup style we wanted, Andy's talent shone through. He perfectly matched each of us with a makeup look that enhanced our natural beauty.
Beyond their skills, both Alex and Andy were a pleasure to work with. Their friendly and fun personalities added to the enjoyable atmosphere of our wedding morning.
The hair and makeup they provided received numerous compliments in our wedding photos. Their work truly made us feel even more beautiful on our special day.

I absolutely loved using UpDos For I Dos for my wedding, and would 100% recommend them to anyone else who is looking for a hair and makeup service. First of all, they were very responsive to my questions when I was first trying to find a hair and makeup artist where others surprisingly were not. I also loved that they were super upfront about pricing and made it so easy for me to figure out exactly how everything would fit into my budget. I think it helps that they have multiple people answering emails so I always had a quick response. It's also really nice that they have multiple artists, so you know you're covered in case anything happens the day of. Next, they were very good about letting me know any deadlines, when I should schedule my hair and makeup trial, and keeping the contract updated based on any changes that I made. The trial also went so well - both artists did exactly what I wanted, and they were extremely responsive to any changes I wanted made. They also made notes about what I wanted during the trial, which made the actual wedding day so much more smooth, where I didn't have to remember anything.
Then on the wedding day, Heather and Ashley showed up early with everything they needed and got set up to start right on time. They were very efficient and made sure everyone was happy with their look - Ashley even re-did my mom's hair when it was a little tight for her, and made sure that my mom was happy. They even stayed a little bit later than they were supposed to (totally my family's fault) to make sure everyone who had signed up got their hair and makeup done. Then I had forgotten to bring any lipstick at all with me and Heather was so nice and gave me the new lipstick she had used on me (even though that was not part of the package at all). My makeup stayed the ENTIRE night, even though I sweat a lot! And my hair lasted through three hours of dancing! Up Dos for I Dos is such a pleasure to work with! They did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding. They were so well organized, professional, and on point with communication every step of the way. They highly exceeded my expectations and we had 20 people! yes 20 people! get hair and makeup done and we finished right on time - there was absolutely no stress at all with this. In addition, they do services for men and people of color, which was hard to find in this area. My group was so diverse (black women in my bridal party, my MIL is Indian with thick hair down to her bottom, as examples) and everyone was very pleased with how they looked. The goal was for everyone to feel comfortable and beautiful and that is exactly what happened! I could not recommend them more. And of course, something will go wrong on your wedding day (for me we had some illnesses remove people from attendance) and they were really flexible with subbing out people to have their services instead. Wonderful experience with Updos for Idos!
We had the best experience with Updos for Idos! We had a large group (15 women) and they were able to assign 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists to ensure we were finished in a timely manner. Can't Recommend Updos Enough!
Updos For I Dos was truly a lifesaver for our wedding. Since we were getting married out of state, we decided to use a salon close by our venue for ease. However, our trial did not go as planned, and my mom and I both left feeling extremely nervous and defeated. I had experience with Updos previously when they did my hair and makeup for my best friend's wedding 5 years ago. They did a fantastic job then, and I realized that we should have just gone with them in the first place despite the commute. My mom had the worst experience during her trial with our first salon, so was extremely nervous about our trial with Updos. Andy had us cracking up from the start, and Amanda was so kind and welcoming. They both made us feel so comfortable and we were so relieved when we saw the final outcome. We felt like movie stars! It was so easy to book with Updos and they were so kind despite some unusual circumstances and late notice on our part.
The day of the wedding, the team showed up right on time to our venue in Pennsylvania and got down to business with my huge bridal party. Each of my 12 (!) bridesmaids are extremely different, but the team listened to their wishes thoughtfully and made them all feel beautiful. Amanda did an amazing job with my mom's hair, including adding a halo; which was fantastic because my mom was worried about her hair. Finally, my makeup and hair made me truly feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. My sister chose my dress for me because I loved wearing fairy princess dresses constantly growing up. The combination of my hair, makeup, and dress made me feel like a fairy princess. Andy, Amanda, and the team were so fun to dance and get ready with and were so kind throughout the whole experience. Ashley was great to work with via email to set everything up and make any changes if need be! I was able to click with my hair and make up artists at my trial and they helped my vision spring to life.

I had Liseth and Samantha do hair and makeup for four women for my wedding on Sat, May 29.
They were very professional, but fun to be around. They constantly asked if we were pleased with the results and made quick adjustments if things were not ok. They had a plan from my trial which they followed precisely, but were quick to pivot when adding a hair piece or changing a lip color. I felt so beautiful and truly like a bride.
Both hair and makeup were very sturdy and stood up to a long session taking photos in the drizzling rain. My hair was incredibly secure and lasted the whole day. -

Erin and Alex helped me and my bridesmaid, mother, and step mother on the day of our wedding. They both delivered EXACTLY what I had envisioned for my event. They also helped my mom and sister decide on looks that fit in with the style I had chosen for myself. They were completely professional throughout!
Additionally, I really liked the service that was provided leading up to the event. The company was incredibly quick to respond to my questions over email and work through my inquiries about the contracts. Because of their organization and attention to detail, I really trusted them to deliver for my wedding.

Jessica and Andy showed up early to begin right on time for our Sunday morning wedding. They were knocking on my door and chipper at 6:30am! They were both just the nicest people, always checking in during the process to make sure my bridesmaids and I liked our hair and makeup as they were working. Jessica and Andy both really added to the wonderful vibe in the room as we were all getting ready. I really appreciate them spending their Sunday morning with us and making our big day so special! -

We had Liseth do 8 girls hair & she could do ANY and EVERY style they threw at her. Not only could she do any style, every girl's hair (including my own) lasted from 8 AM until midnight. -

Choosing Up Dos for I Dos was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! They are incredibly communicative from the booking to prewedding questionnaires to the day of the wedding, they managed it all. I ended up changing the "get ready" location three times due to COVID and they were incredibly flexible and understanding. Our stylist Dana was amazing, she was so personable there was no sitting in the chair with an awkward silence for an hour; it was like talking to a friend. She made all of us look and feel so beautiful! I was really trying to decide between two styles for my wedding and Dana did a quick mock-up of the one I was leaning towards before she officially started on my hair so I could get an idea of how it would look on me. My hair is incredibly thin and fine so I was super concerned that my veil would fall straight through but it lasted all night! Dana set it up so my mom could easily put it in and get it out without wrecking my style. -

Such an amazing experience with the Up Do's team. From my trial to the day of our microwedding we could not have asked for a more amazing experience. Liseth and Andy were so great and fit right into our little crew! My hair and makeup were exactly what I wanted and more. Can't wait to have them again for the full celebration in 2021! Plus, I don't think my hair has ever held curl that long in my life. It was true perfection! -

There are not enough amazing things I can say about Up-dos For I-Dos and their team. We had Jen and Jay for our big day and they were incredible. I did a trial and would definitely recommend it to anyone on the fence; it just gives you some piece of mind that they know exactly what you want ahead of time. I also did the air-brush make-up upgrade which was well worth the added cost. It stayed all day and looked very natural. They were able to work with all of my girls and had the timeline for our day worked out perfectly. 7 hair-dos and 7 faces of make-up is a lot for 2 individuals but they handled it like it was no problem! Not to mention, having the services come to us was much more stress-free and worked perfectly for our day. Contact them for all your hair and make-up needs! -

Ashlie and Liseth from the Updos For I Do's team were FANTASTIC to work with! They were timely, professional, and made the entire experience so much fun. I had initially done hair and makeup trials with different artists, but had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic and our original artists weren't available. Even though I had never worked with Ashlie and Liseth prior to my wedding day, the process was really seamless and they made sure they knew exactly what was done in my trial to ensure my hair and makeup came out perfect. They did a fantastic job with my mom and sister too. Definitely an excellent company all around, and I would happily hire them again! -

UpDos for I Do’s was amazing to work with! Liz was so personable and really has an eye for making the hairstyles work for every different girl. She has a lot of skill that she uses and is able to get through different hairstyles quickly, while still providing quality. Great! Hair and Makeup
Ashley (the owner) was very responsive and was always available to answer any of my questions. Amina and Ashley C were both sooo great! I loved that my bridal makeup and hair was the same price as my bridesmaids. Ashley C was so fast and I LOVED my updo. Amina created a different look for each bridesmaid and even when I changed my makeup look from my trial she was all about it! Both girls were so sweet did amazing jobs! Highly recommend. -

I am SO glad I chose Up Dos for I Dos for my wedding! I couldn't be happier with the fantastic skills of Jessica L (hair) and Erin (makeup). Jessica and Erin were incredibly friendly and enjoyable to work with. I loved my look and it lasted the whole night; I felt absolutely gorgeous. I am not great with hair or makeup, but even if I was I would choose them all over again. They were very professional, flexible, and great with communication every step of the way. They also provided services for my bridesmaids and made a cohesive look while staying true to each girl's vision. I would absolutely recommend Up Dos for I Dos to every bride. Not having to worry about hair and makeup made my wedding day so much easier. -
