Jill is truly amazing!

I found Jill on WeddingWire and loved her work! She was super responsive and bared with my delayed responses, I am terrible at communicating! She is SO unbelievably sweet! I did a trial and later changed my mind the day of the wedding. She was so flexible and brought my idea to life!

Her knowledge and skill really shows in her work! My bridesmaids were thrilled with her styling. So many of them had curls done at 9 am and still had them at 11 pm with no touch ups!! They all were shocked as they never were able to keep curls that long. I have hair that is horrible to manage, especially in the rain which was the weather we had. Jill's work stayed ALL day and even though I took pictures in the rain my hair still looked amazing afterwards!

I cannot recommend Jill enough! I have suggested her to every bride I have met. Her work speaks for itself, but she was so fun to get ready with! She saved the day by being the only one who knew how to open champagne the right way!

Jill is amazing, book her ASAP! She and her assistant styled hair for me and 11 others for my February 2026 wedding, and everyone looked stunning. Jill leads such a nice team! She communicates flawlessly and Beth (my stylist) did such an incredible job integrating by cultural Vietnamese headpiece into my updo and also worked to give me "two looks" for one! My mother and mother in law also really loved their day-of looks as well. Not to mention. Great value for wedding hair & willing to do a smaller party -- which helped me out so much!

The absolute best!

Jill was AMAZING! Everyone felt so gorgeous and our hair lasted all night through lots of sweating, hugging, dancing, and all the rest. She brought such a calm, upbeat, unflappable energy to the day, even when there was some chaos and last minute requests around us. Jill really listened to what each girl wanted and didn't try to make them something they're not. She was one of my absolute best hires of the wedding, and I'm recommending her to every friend of mine getting married! I'd been recommended to her by a friend, and I was skeptical why her prices were so much more affordable than some other places - price does NOT equal quality! Jill is THE BEST and just a joy to work with. Book book book!

Beautiful hair that lasts through humidity and dancing!

Bonnie and Maureen both did hair on our wedding day and were awesome! They both arrived early and were ahead of schedule day of. Bonnie made time to let me try my hair two ways while trying to decide on a look, and she recommended a change to my bun to better fit my vision, which I totally loved! She easily incorporated my homemade hair pieces into the style as well. Bonnie also helped with my husband’s hair, which is thick and difficult to style and keep in place. Both of our hair lasted all night, even through high humidity and dancing – I was still getting compliments on mine at the after party! Thank you Bonnie and Maureen for meeting everyone’s requests and for making us all look our best, and thank you Jill for being so responsive in the planning process!

Beautiful Job!

Jill at Up Your Do created the most gorgeous hairstyle for my winter wedding! I had a half up/half down with curls, and it was exactly what I envisioned. What's even more impressive is that it held up flawlessly, even while we were taking pictures in the snow for a few hours. One of my bridesmaids originally had a half up/half down hairstyle done, but she later asked Jill if it was possible to put it all up. Jill was so accommodating and did a fantastic job not only on her hair, but all of my bridal party's hairstyles. I highly recommend Jill to anyone!

Affordable Hairstylist in Philly area!

Love Up Your Do! Affordable and beautiful work. Bonnie was our stylist and she was so sweet. We opted for on-site hair for our wedding and Bonnie was on time. Jill was great to work with over email. Really glad I went with them! Also if you’re booking Up Your Do for hair you should book Dylan Michael Cosmetics for your makeup! They work out of the same salon and make coordinating so easy. Dylan Michael Cosmetics is also reasonably priced and does great work!

Jill is outstanding!!!

I cannot recommend Jill enough! She was so kind and personable, in addition to being incredibly talented and professional! She was ahead of schedule on wedding day, which helped to keep us all on track. Jill did such an incredible job on all of our hair, and I truly felt like the most beautiful version of my self! Perfect wedding hair!

Jill was incredibly responsive for all communication related to the wedding, including creating the morning of timeline. Jill also recommended Dylan Michael Cosmetics, and they did an amazing job for makeup. Bonnie was my wedding hairstylist, and she did an incredible job on my hair, 6 bridesmaids, and the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. She took the pictures I showed at the trial and created the perfect look. Everyone's hair stayed curled all night. She was also so friendly and calm on the wedding morning, which helped all of us have a great time. I highly recommend Up Your Do!

I loved working with them! Book them!

Jill was so responsive and easy to work with setting up my trial and confirming availability for my wedding date. She was very direct with pricing for services and very reasonable for the quality you get with them. I absolutely recommend booking them!!

Bonnie was my stylist and she was so amazing. I loved working with her. I asked for a few small change from my trial and Bonnie delivered. I loved my hair even more the day of my wedding. My girls all loved their hair as well. Our curls held well. She was also very friendly and easy to talk to.

Bonnie was early and she was ready to go when she arrived. She had 9 people to get done starting at 8:00 am and finishing by 1:00 pm. She was able to get us all done easily before that.

Stayed all day!

Danielle was amazing to work with. She understood what I wanted and delivered! My hair held allll day long. All of my girls and my mom loved their hair as well. Everyone's stayed beautifully. Her personality was so wonderful to have hanging out with us all morning too. Great communication as well!

Gorgeous, Amazing Experience

I booked Up Your Do for my wedding and had a fantastic experience! From my first inquiry to my wedding day, Up Your Do was so professional, prompt, and amazing to work with. I had the pleasure of having Bonnie as my hair stylist. Bonnie was so easy to talk to, listened to my wants and concerns, and was so patient with me during my hair trial as we figured out the right extensions to use to achieve my wanted hairstyle. I was thrilled with my trial, but my hair on my actual wedding day was even better! Bonnie really outdid herself and made my thin hair look thick and vibrant. I absolutely loved my hair and received so many compliments. Bonnie also did 5 bridesmaids with all different hair types and requested hair styles. Bonnie was made everyone look amazing and was done ahead of schedule. I am so thankful for Up Your Do and Bonnie for making the hair process not only a breeze, but fun! My bridal party and I all agree that it was the most relaxed and fun bridal getting ready time. I highly recommend Up Your Do. Jill tamed my wild curls!

Jill was amazing! She was actually able to tame my unmanageable curly hair and make it look beautiful for my wedding day! She came all the way out to West Chester on a Sunday (and on Father's Day, even!) to do my and my 4 bridesmaids' hair. I was very impressed with the way she could immediately form these hairstyles right after seeing the picture! We all looked beautiful and our hair stayed in all day and night, even with all the dancing! The prices are very reasonable and Jill is such a sweet, kind person. I highly recommend her!

I could not speak more highly of Up Your Do!!! Jill is nothing short of amazing!!! I loved my wedding hair more than I could have imagined, and it stayed flawlessly in place throughout the entire day and night of dancing! From the moment I reached out to book her, Jill was incredibly easy-going and made the entire process comfortable. Jill and Terry were so efficient in creating stunning hairstyles for all my girls that held up perfectly throughout the night as well. Use them for your wedding hair!

I had the best experience working with Up Your Do for my wedding hair! Jill was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I worked with Bonnie for my hair and she was great to work with! I ended up going for two separate hair trials after deciding that I wanted something different than what I had tried for the first trial. I wanted something completely different for my second hair trial and Bonnie listened to everything and it ended up being exactly what I wanted! The morning of my wedding, Bonnie was on time/early and was ready to get started and even finished all the girls earlier than originally scheduled! All the hair turned out beautifully and my bridal party and mom were really happy with the results! I highly recommend working with the if you have any special event in the area!!

Jill was very charming and easy to interact with during both our trial and actual wedding sessions. She expertly navigated my very long hair, created exactly the style I was hoping for, and was very helpful when teaching us about veil insertion and removal. Everyone whose hair she styled was satisfied, and they all looked great! I’m glad to have chosen Jill as our hair stylist and will happily return to her for my future styling needs. I can’t think of a higher compliment to give a hair stylist than this: when I do eventually decide to shorten my hair, it will be a difficult and nerve-wracking experience because I’m afraid I will regret it and miss my “old” hair. I trust Jill enough that she is the person I will seek out to take care of that change when the time comes!

Beautiful work with all styles!

Jill worked seamlessly through quite varied hairstyles for myself, 3 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls! From up-dos to half-up and curls, she handled it all smoothly and ahead of schedule! She worked great with everyone in our group! I had the luck of also booking Dylan Michael Cosmetics for makeup - Jill and Emily worked so well together to handle everything in a timely manner. Jill is the best! I absolutely loved my wedding hair. It held up all day and looked so great. Jill and her team did such a great job. They did hair for me, the mothers and all the bridesmaids. Bonnie was the best!!

I don't usually write reviews but both, Bonnie and Jill, deserve a 10/10! Jill was so easy to work and communicate with and Bonnie did such an amazing job on, not only my hair, but my mom's and bridesmaid's hairs. My mom had unreasonable expectations but Bonnie made her dream "messy elegant" bun come to life. Everybody absolutely loved Bonnie and their hair for the wedding day so a huge thank you to her!!!! I would definitely recommend both Jill and Bonnie!

It was amazing working with Bonnie from Up your Do

Bonnie was incredible to work with for my wedding! I did my trial with her a few months before, and changed a few things before my wedding day. She listened and had great suggestions to make sure I would love how my hair looked and felt! She also did the hair for my mom, mother in law, and my three bridesmaids and everyone looked great! Bonnie arrived early to set up and had us all done on schedule. I also worked with Casey from Dylan Michael Cosmetics, and it was great that she and Bonnie knew each other and knew exactly how to work alongside each other- what a fun team! Talented and professional team at an affordable price

Elizabeth did my hair for my wedding, as well as the hair for my 6 bridesmaids and my mom and MIL. She did a great job of understanding what I wanted and making it come to life. Elizabeth was also very efficient! She was able to get all 9 hair appointments done in a timely matter so we did not have to stress on the morning of my wedding.

Amazing to Work With!

I cannot say enough about working with Jill. Most importantly, I loved my hair and got so many compliments on it. When people take the time to compliment your up-do in the middle of a chaotic wedding reception, you know it is good. Every one of my bridesmaids and my mom loved their hair and they were all so different. She even got my three year old to sit still and did her hair exactly as I envisioned it. She is fun and laid back, which is exactly the kind of person you want around you on your wedding day. She even managed to remember where my phone was when my frazzled self could not think straight :) You will not regretting hiring her for your wedding!

We all looked perfect!!

What a fantastic hair team!!! We had Bonnie and Elizabeth for hair-there were 11 of us and they got us done in a little less than 3 hours! They were so personable & kind, and everyone looked INCREDIBLE! Everyone’s hair lasted all night & one girl even left hers in for brunch the next morning & it still looked perfect!! Jill coordinated everything leading up to the day & was super helpful with any questions we had. We were a covid couple who had to reschedule by a year, so I want to note that Jill was so wonderful and professional-she did not add any extra fees or stipulations for a situation that was out of our control. We appreciated this SO MUCH, & vendors like this especially deserve consideration for future events, because you know they will work with you when the unprecedented happens!!! Jill is amazing!

I have never met a hair stylist as talented as Jill. Jill was able to do my hair and six of my bridesmaids in a row and she was absolutely wonderful. She was able to create the hairstyle each of us wanted quickly and it looked beautiful on each girl. As the bride, I could not get over how perfect my hair was, and the best part is that it lasted all day and night despite the rain.

Jill is also extremely professional and reliable. She responded quickly to any messages I sent her and she was proactive about setting up a schedule for my bridesmaids and I the morning of our wedding. I highly recommend Jill for your wedding! Thank you Jill for making our day so special!

Fabulous, accommodating, and so so nice

I started reaching out to Jill about 2 and a half years ago to book her for myself and all my girls for my May 2020 wedding. When the pandemic hit she was super flexible in allowing me to change to my second date of August 2020 and then again to May 2021. She was always so quick to respond and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I finally got to meet her during my trial appointment this past March. I showed her a picture of what I was thinking and she basically copy and pasted the photo onto my head! I ended up getting hair extensions to make the look a bit more full and learned from the makeup artist that Jill actually makes all the hair extensions that she uses. If you're thinking about getting them I would definitely say go for it! I was a bit nervous about having too much weight on my head since I was wearing a veil as well but the extensions were very light and comfortable and I didn't notice them at all throughout my wedding night. Jill also helped drain all my worries about us not being done in time. We made a timeline for myself, 7 bridesmaids, my mom and my mother in law. Jill did every single girl herself and even did my ring bearer last minute and had us all done with plenty of time. All my girls loved their hair and it was so fun to see my mom (who never gets her hair done) with such a beautiful look. I highly highly recommend Jill and Up Your Do for all of your wedding hair needs!

Great at styling every kind of hairdo

We loved working with Up Your Do. They were super flexible when COVID postponed our 2020 plans, and were very accommodating with our 2021 options. I actually had my trial with a different stylist, but no one would know. They're all such a talented team there's no going wrong. She handled our mothers really well, and our bridesmaids with very different hair types and issues. It was really excellent!

Jill did an amazing job with my hair for my wedding day! I showed her a couple pictures of what I was envisioning and she delivered above and beyond my expectations! Efficient, Kind & Beautiful Work

There is so much good I want to share about Up Your Do! My wedding was in December of 2020 and Up Your Do really bailed me out when my originally booked hair team stopped responding to me in September. Jill was prompt and helpful in scheduling and creating a schedule for the morning of the wedding. We had Bonnie and Elizabeth do our hair the morning of my wedding. With myself included their was 10 hair do's to complete and they did this from 8-11:30am. Both girls were on time, if not early, kind, friendly, and really wanted to make sure everyone got what they wanted. My matron of honor said it was the nicest hair she had done for any of the weddings she was in. Everyone looked so beautiful and everyone's hair stayed in the entire night! I was especially worried because I have very straight hair, but I definitely did not need to worry because my hair looked beautiful the entire evening. I cannot thank Bonnie & Elizabeth enough for making me feel beautiful for my wedding day.

100% recommend!

Jill did my hair and hair for all of my bridesmaids for our wedding. At my trial, Jill completely understood what I was envisioning and got it right on the first try. My day of hair looked just like my trial hair and didn’t move one bit all day. Besides everyone’s hair turning out perfectly, Jill was a pleasure to work with. Due to COVID we had to change the location of our wedding fairly last minute and Jill was totally flexible. Our schedule got a little out of sync the day of for various reasons and Jill didn’t sweat it at all and still got us all done on time. So glad to have found Jill and Up Your Do. Amazing hairstylist for your special day!

Bonnie and Elizabeth did an amazing job on all 12 of us this past Saturday. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and got us all done before we were scheduled to finish! Each girl even had a chance to get back in the chair for final touch ups before we left. Everyone's hair looked amazing and stayed in from early morning to the wee hours of the night. Felt like a princess

I cannot say enough about Danielle. She traveled to me on my wedding day and did mine and 7 bridesmaids hair in about 5 and a half hours including touch ups at the end for anyone who needed a refresh or extra bobbypins. Up Your Do was a total life saver! Due to COVID, I had to totally change my plans around from having a large wedding in NJ to a smaller one in PA 2 months before and on a super popular date (I was stressed to say the least!). In trying to find a hair artist closer to my new venue, I came across Up Your Do and received a message back from Jill within a few hours. In my panicked state, she was a breath of fresh air, prompt, and extremely helpful. I came in that same week for a trial with Bonnie and was immediately impressed by her skills and professionalism. On the day of, Bonnie was on time, ready to go, and did an awesome job knocking out my hair (which I threw a curveball on because it was a different style than the trial), my MOH’s hair, and the 2 mothers! She actually even ended early (while maintaining such precision on each hairstyle) but patiently waited to do touch ups and put on my veil! Everyone was impressed with their hairstyles and each lady’s curls lasted the whole duration of my wedding. I’m SO glad I found Jill and her awesome team and can’t wait to have Bonnie at my big celebration next year!

Jill is the best

I was BLOWN away with Jill. I have incredibly long and thick hair, which can be tough to deal with for hairdressers. I gave Jill my vision and she absolutely brought it to life. I received compliments all night long on my hair, all thanks to Jill. Not only did she do a fabulous job with my hair, but working with her was wonderful. The morning of was probably the most stressful for me, and as soon as I sat in Jill's chair, I relaxed. She is wonderful, and I am so thankful she was apart of my day. I can not recommend her enough! Beautiful Bridal Bun

I ended up using Up Your Do for my wedding hair through a somewhat unexpected and out of the ordinary event. The stylist with the hair company I had originally booked with broke her finger a week before my wedding, and called to let me know she would no longer be able to do my hair. Fortunately, she told me she had already called Jill, who owns Up Your Do, and asked if any of her stylists were available on my wedding day. Fortunately, Nicole was available. My former stylist immediately connected me with Jill and she worked to get me in for a trail with Nicole the Thursday before my wedding. I was also really happy that she worked it out with Jill so that my pricing for the services remained the same. Ironically, the salon was just down the street from the dress shop I got my wedding dress at. Nicole spent upwards (possibly even a little over I can’t entirely remember) of two hours with me for my trial. Since I hadn’t settled on a definitive style with my previous stylist, she wanted to make sure that I left feeling confident in what my hair would look like on wedding day. I so appreciated the time she spent with me – she even curled my extensions when we were finished for an event, I had that evening.

On wedding day, Nicole was on time, and did a fabulous job on the up dos for my three bridesmaids and mom. Everyone had a slightly different but similar style, which was nice to have some uniformity. She was very detailed with my hair, adjusting the height, size of the bun, and part in my hair. She made sure that when I was finished, I was happy with everything. The hair clip I had fit beautifully with the bun. It was everything I had wanted. Nicole was so polite and friendly, as was Jill throughout the entire process. It was great because they also traveled to the wedding venue. In the end, even though there was a bit of a mishap a week before my wedding, I was really happy with how things turned out and I would highly recommend Up Your Do for your wedding.

Perfection

Jill was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She arrived at our bridesmaid house on time and completed the hair of 8 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and me - the bride! She created beautiful hair masterpieces in an impressively short amount of time, while maintaining this extraordinary sense of cool and calmness throughout the whole process. Her calm and professional attitude helped me relax a little, which was so needed and appreciated! My wedding hair exceeded all of my expectations - it was beyond perfect, and more gorgeous than I could have dreamed. The true test was when my bridesmaids and I took pictures outside on a day down the shore in the late fall with a wind advisory. Hair with Bonnie!

I hired Up Your Do for hair services for my wedding on 10/19/19. Bonnie was our stylist and she did an phenomenal job! With there being five people getting their hair done in all different styles, I was slightly worried about the amount of time it would take, however Bonnie finished nearly everyone up early and kept us ahead of schedule. She was able to work with a variety of hair types and requests from the different women in my party and moms and made everyone look beautiful! Jill also did a great job coordinating with us and setting up our hair timeline and trial would go according to plan. Don't stress if you contact Up Your Do and hear Jill isn't available, since Bonnie was fantastic too! I would trust any of the stylists at Up Your Do if they all work at the same level! Beautiful Hair Styles

Jill is an extremely talented hair stylist and she was able to make each and everyone of my bridal party memebers look and feel incredible! Jill was able to give unique hairstyles to each of us and work with many different kinds of hair.
Jill took an idea that I had for my bridal hair and made it a reality. My hair looked timeless and classic. Jill also stayed for several hours to change my hairstyle for the reception for a more fun look.
Not only is Jill very talented, she is kind and funny! Spending all morning getting ready with Jill was fun and relaxing!

Amazing!

I am a little late on posting this review however that is simply because I could not put into words how amazing it was working with Jill. From my trial to my wedding day she was nothing short of professional yet, fun. I felt so so pretty. In my trial I told her that I was going to have a flower crown from my florist. She was actually able to put in a beaded piece to mimic the flower crown just so I can get an idea of what it would look like. When it came to my wedding day and my flowers where delivered, my flower crown was HUGE. It was nothing what I had told the florist I wanted. Jill was amazing through the whole thing. She said she would me able to take the crown apart and use the babies breath and pin it across the bun part of my hair. It ended up looking amazing. My flower girl was also supposed to have a flower crown and that was way too big for her little head. Jill took that crown apart as well and pinned the babies breath on the top of her head to mimic a flower crown. She looked adorable. I cannot say anything but wonderful things about Jill. Thank you Jill & team for making my bridal party and I look amazing!!!

I’m so happy I found Jill Kozer of Up Your Do! Jill was extremely responsive during the entire wedding process. I did my hair trial a few months before the wedding and was confident leaving the salon that my hair would look amazing on my wedding day but my updo the day of my wedding far exceeded my expectations and was absolutely perfect! LOVED MY HAIR, amazing experience

Jill was amazing from start to finish! She is so talented and is able to do anything! She gave me a fabulous high pony for my rehearsal dinner, and a gorgeous half up/down with hair extensions for my wedding day. I have never felt more beautiful. Jill and Nicole did my moms and bridesmaids hair as well, and they all turned out so gorgeous. Highly recommend Jill/Up Your Do!!

I felt like a princess

Jill was amazing to work with. She arrived bright eyed and busy tailed at 6:30am to get our hair done. She also was a complete professional when it came to a few particular requests. I got so many compliments on my hair throughout the day. I felt like a princess, and I definitely have Jill to thank for that. My hair stayed perfect the entire day through crazy dancing and tons of hugs. AND, my hair even looked good after I took it out at the end of the night which was a huge plus!

It was perfect!!!

We hired Bonnie to do my and all my bridesmaids hair for the wedding. She was absolutely a dream to work with. She is SO talented, and LISTENED to everything my girls wanted. Jill is amazing!

Jill was absolutely amazing. My hair trial looked great but after reviewing the pictures it felt like the hair style I chose wasn't "me". So Jill figured out a way to fit me in for a second trial two days before my wedding! When I told her how stressed I was, she let me know that if I needed to take minute to breath on the day of she would make that happen and take me away from any drama. The hairstyle she did for me looked EXACTLY like the picture I showed her (honestly, maybe even better) and she made me feel and look like a princess. I HIGHLY recommend hiring her!!

Amazing work!

I hired Up Your Do to handle the hairstyling needs of my wedding party and the hairstyling for myself and my daughters the night of the rehearsal dinner. I had a very positive experience with Jill (owner) and really loved the work she did on both days. On rehearsal day, we went to her shop (Starlit Salon) and I was lucky enough to have Jill style my hair. I absolutely LOVED it. I have very fine/straight hair that does not hold a style easily yet Jill managed to get my hair styled in a way that held all night. I got a TON of compliments on the style that evening – including from my hairstylist whom I have used for 25+ years!!! My daughters’ styles were equally as lovely – relaxed yet done enough to look like they were ready for a special occasion. On the actual wedding day, Jill did one bridesmaid and handled three groomsmen, which included three unplanned trims/cuts. The bridesmaid’s style was simply stunning and despite several hours of extreme dancing, it held all evening. The guys faired equally - great styles that fit their faces and hair types. I must disclose that I did not use Jill to do my hair on the wedding day, but that was NOT from lack of confidence in her skills. It is clear she knows her craft and knows what tools/products to use depending upon hair type. Simply, my long-time hairstylist is a friend and was there as a guest of the wedding in addition to styling my hair. Ironically, Jill did my friend/hairstylists hair for the wedding and she raved all evening about how much she loved what Jill did. NOW that is a compliment!!! I wished I lived closer to Jill as I would seriously consider using her regularly for my styling needs. If you are looking for someone to do your wedding party, get you ready for a special night out, OR just looking for a new stylist, I would HIGHLY recommend Jill, her shop (Starlit) and her wedding styling firm (Up Your Do)

Jill is the best!

Jill is THE BEST! I've been a bridemaid many times over and haven't had the best experiences when it comes to wedding hair, so when it came time for my own wedding, I wanted to find someone I really loved (but who was also affordable!). I used The Knot to find Jill, and took a chance with someone I had never worked with. After my trial, I knew I had made the right choice. She styled my hair exactly as I had described, and to top it off, was so nice and easy to talk to while she was doing my hair. Prior to the wedding day, she helped me plan by providing a schedule for my bridesmaids. For the day of, she arrived early and was all set up for the first bridesmaid as soon as she arrived. She was so nice and professional the entire morning, and even stayed while I finished my makeup to make sure my hair didn't get messed up in the makeup process. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and commented on how she made the morning that much more fun because she was so sweet. I would recommend any bride to use Jill and Up Your Do for your wedding day!

Jill did a fantastic job! She worked on my hair and that of my four bridesmaids and completed our looks in less than the allotted time. We were all super-impressed by Jill's skill, creativity and professionalism. She is also a very kind and funny person and was a hoot to work with both during the hair trial and during our special day. I highly recommend this vendor's services!

Bonnie is the best!

I can not say enough about how awesome Bonnie was the day of my wedding!! She took the time on each girl and gave them exactly what they wanted. She perfected my hair and made me feel beautiful! Amazing Hairstylist

Danielle did such a beautiful job with everyone's hair! My bridesmaids and flower girl were able to choose the styles that fit them best and Danielle delivered on all fronts. My hair was absolutely perfect & I couldn't have been happier!

Bonnie was absolutely amazing to work with and I highly recommend her! From the trial to the wedding day, Up Your Do was so responsive to my emails and working with the makeup artist (who came to their salon to do my makeup trial so I could get the full look). Bonnie did such a beautiful job on my hair, plus my bridesmaids and my mother. Our hair lasted the entire day and everyone loved their hairstyle. I highly recommend Bonnie and Up Your Do. I felt so beautiful the entire day!

I cannot say enough about how amazing and professional Jill is. On the day of the wedding she arrived early to set up and as able to style me, my five bridesmaids, and my mom within just a couple hours. Everyone loved their hairstyle, which held all night long. Jill was absolutely amazing! She did the hair for myself (bride) and my entire bridal party (8) plus some family members. Everyone LOVED their hair. She is so calm, cool and collected. She does hair with ease, all the girls showed her a picture of what they wanted and they were ecstatic when their hair turned out just like the picture if not better! She even finished the entire party’s hair earlier than expected. She’s JUST that good. I would recommend her to anyone!!

Jill and the Up Your Do team are amazing. I have worked with Jill for years now and she has done my hair for various other events, so it was an easy choice to enlist her help for the wedding. She is flexible, responsive, fun, kind, and last, but not least, incredibly talented! She will work with you to make sure your hair is exactly as you want it and that it will last for the whole day! She is also great at helping you pick a style if you don't have an exact idea in mind. It was a wonderful experience working with Jill and I was thrilled with my hair!

Jill was wonderful to work with. I did not know what I wanted to with my hair, and she helped me figure it out - trying a few different things at my trial just a few days before the wedding with the perfect selection of a hair piece. I did my hair trial with her and my makeup trial with Lauren of Dylan Michael Cosmetics, and they helped make for a relaxing day the day before all of the guests started arriving. Everything also went very smoothly on the day of. I’d highly recommend Jill - she was fantastic.

Jill is the absolute best! She was recommended to me by my photographer, and after looking through a few photos, I immediately knew she was the one. Hair is so important on your wedding day, and there is really something to be said about being confident that you have the best stylist for your big day—I knew from day one that I had that stylist! She is nothing short of phenomenal at what she does and I felt more beautiful than I ever have on my wedding day, thanks to her! Jill made the entire process seamless from start to finish. She was always very responsive and was happy to answer any questions I had as they arose. The trial was perfect as she carefully listened to what I wanted and encouraged me tell her what I liked/did not like. She is incredibly patient and willing to keep working until she gives you exactly what you want. On the day of the wedding, I decided that I wanted to go with a more classic updo than what I had originally asked for at my trial. Jill did not miss a beat. She was able to envision the new look I wanted and she executed it perfectly! She also did the updo’s for 7 of my bridesmaids and every single one of them was in love with their hair that day. I truly appreciated how she came early and was so flexible and easy-going while working with my makeup artist to keep everyone on a schedule. Her calm presence is a big plus when your nerves are going full speed on the morning of your wedding! Hire Jill. She is a true professional and will give you the hair you have always dreamt of. I am still blown away by how amazing she is and how beautiful she made everyone look that day. I would recommend her to everyone needing any type of hair service. I recently had Michele do my hair for my wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist. During the whole process, Michele was great with communication. She was on time and always very professional. She made my day extra specia and definitely made me feel like a one of a kind bride. I received so many compliments on my hair. Jill was absolutely phenomenal! I cannot say it enough, I went in after having multiple trials that left me in tears thinking nobody would be able to style my hair (curly and thick) how I wanted and have it last. Turns out I just hadn't found the one and Jill was it! She styled my hair better than I ever imagined and I wasn't even 100% sure what I wanted done. I just knew a general overview, half up and curled. I booked two trials to get it absolutely perfect, and my headpiece made it so much more wonderful! Jill is simply the best! My Maid of Honor and mom both came with me for the trial and my maid of honor booked her for her wedding on the spot. Our weddings were just one week apart and everyone raved about our hair and all of the wedding parties hair at both weddings! JILL, YOU ARE THE BEST, THE BEST, THE BEST!! Believe me you do not need to look any further, I had a big wedding party (12 people total getting hair and Jill did it all on her own because I had a budget and she did it flawlessly! I recommend her to all every bride to be!

I had the pleasure of having Bonnie of Up Your Do as my wedding-day stylist and I also worked with Jill who is the owner to coordinate everything. Jill was very friendly and helpful in making sure that I had a plan that worked for me. We had a very early start-5am to be exact for our morning wedding and Jill and Bonnie made it work! Bonnie was punctual and showed up looking fabulous and being in a cheerful mood-at 5am! And she stayed fabulous and cheerful throughout the morning while making me, my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law look fabulous. Bonnie was incredibly helpful at my trial and helped me pick the perfect hairstyle and head piece for my dress and personal style. She is friendly and professional and a good listener. She is able to give advice and also listens to what you want and she will not stop until you look perfect! Up Your Do was wonderful to work with and they took soo much pressure off of me. I also find the pricing to be quite reasonable compared to many other on-site hair styling businesses. I should also mention that I have a lot of hair and it is quite thick and does not hold curl easily. My hair held the curls from 5am through the entire day and into the next. I highly recommend working with Up Your Do for all of your special event needs-they are awesome!

Up Your Do could not have been a better choice for hair for me and all my ladies! We had a large group of 12 for hair and Jill initially handled all logistics and coordinated to have JoAnne and Megan for our day. JoAnne and Megan were so fantastic, and everyone looked stunning. JoAnne handled my hair and half of our squad and let me just say, she is so much more than amazing hair! First, my hair ended up being exactly what I wanted so you can't ask for more than that. But she also is such a great person that you will want her there with you on your big day! You are bound to have many emotions that day and for me she kept me cool, calm, collected, and with perfect hair :). Thank you so much ladies! Up Your Do is the real deal!

Jill was wonderful to work with in the planning and coordination leading up to the wedding, and JoAnn, our wedding day hair stylist, did an absolutely amazing job!! I decided that I wanted to change my hair style a bit from what we had done in the trial, and it turned out completely perfect. I felt beautiful and confident, and it lasted all day/night! Not only did I love my hair (which is not always easy for me to say), but my bridesmaids were JUST as happy with theirs. I highly recommend!!

I had a great experience working with Jill and Bonnie. A few weeks before the wedding there was a schedule conflict on their behalf and they made arrangements to reschedule my trial despite my limited availability. I provided Bonnie with photos of what I had in mind and she delivered exactly what I was looking for. She was the sole stylist for a party of 9 ladies, Bonnie worked efficiently and everyone looked wonderful! I definitely recommend Up Your Do and going with Dylan Michael Cosmetics for make up. Both businesses share a salon and it made coordinating the schedule and services very convenient, especially since I was arranging everything from out of state.

I initially selected Jill to do hair for my wedding based off of online reviews; however, it turned out my cousin used her for her wedding a year before mine so I got a live preview : ) Jill and her team are incredibly talented and I found her prices to be, comparatively reasonable. My girls and I all had very different style preferences and she nailed all of them (will send professional pics once received). I only had to give her a few pictures of styles that I like and she, seemingly effortlessly, gave me the exact look I was going for. On top of being talented, she was very responsive, friendly, and patient while we were going back and forth between hair and make up. The morning of, she stayed doing touch-ups until the last minute. Could recommend Jill more (along with Cindy at Dylan Michael for makeup - her salon counterpart with a separate business). Thank you for making me and my girls look/feel beautiful on my wedding day!

I was worrying a great deal about trying to figure out the best greatest hair style for my wedding... and even though I had no clue, Jill was like a magic 8 ball! She makes her incredible work seem effortless as she engages in fun conversation while creating a true piece of art. I loved my wedding day hair; it held throughout the whole day and I even had some adorable curls to enjoy the next days. Jill also did the hair for my two sisters and the grooms two sisters. Up Your Do was an absolute pleasure to work with. Jill Kozar, the owner, was beyond responsive and helpful in both setting up a trial in coordination with my makeup artist, and with scheduling specific time slots for myself and my bridal party for the morning of. She made everything as easy as possible. Bonnie was our hair stylist and she was kind, accommodating, and so talented with the different hair types and styles requested. My bridesmaids, Mom, and I were extremely happy with our hairstyles that lasted throughout the heat of the day and dancing at night. Bonnie also did a great job in making sure that the placement of my updo was just right so that it wouldn’t be uncomfortable at the base of my neck (because that’s never fun!). She even showed my matron of honor exactly where to place my veil when the time came to put it on. I can’t thank Jill and Bonnie enough! I highly recommend Up Your Do and especially Bonnie.

Jill is absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough about her professionalism and abilities. I have never met a hairstylist with such a great and calming personality and such natural styling skill! She did onsite hair for all of our bridesmaids and some additional family members on the day of our wedding. She was fabulous at planning a hair schedule for the wedding day before the big event, arrived early, and easily kept to her schedule and accommodated for unexpected surprises! Every single woman looked stunning and was so happy and impressed with her work. She managed totally different hair types and dealt gracefully with ladies who didn’t know what to do with their hair the day of. Our hair lasted all day- through a windy lakeside ceremony, hundreds of hugs, and lots of dancing. We got compliments from everyone we talked to and our pictures look amazing. We even all still had amazing wavy hair the next day at brunch! We did trials before the wedding and Jill helped guide us to styles that would look fantastic and last. She really can do anything and then even tweak completed hairstyles in seconds. The hair salon is beautiful and my mom went for a pre-wedding hair cut, which was the best trim she had ever gotten! We cannot thank her enough and you’d be crazy to use anyone else.
