Unposed is world class. I absolutely love Jeff and Cathy. Our wedding photos are more incredible than I ever imagined. They were also fabulous to work with throughout the many COVID changes. I feel so lucky to get to work with them again next year for our larger party. The best part is- engagement and wedding photos can feel slightly awkward. But not with Jeff and Cathy. They are so great at making it all feel natural and company. I highly recommend- 5 out of 5... AMAZING at what they do! -

I found UnPosed Photography completely by chance at a Bridal Expo when I quickly fell in love with a photo they had of the venue we were getting married in. I ran home to tell my now husband I had found photographers I love and that we had to book them for our big day- and thank goodness we did. Cathy and Jeff were with us every step of the way answering questions, providing guidance, and bringing us joy when things got stressful. They linked us to other vendors that we loved working with and made booking our wedding so incredibly easy. They are the kindest people and their photography is simply breathtaking. They listen to concerns and make necessary adjustments to make you feel comfortable with every photo they take. They captured our love so beautiful during our engagement shoot and wedding day and they changed my life by coaching me through my amazing boudoir shoot. They became part of our family and wedding party and made everyone they encountered feel amazing. I'll work with them for the rest of my life because they truly are that wonderful. They are truly the most amazing people and the best addition to your team when planning a wedding; we cannot thank them enough for all they did leading up to our wedding day, our big day, and beyond. Simply put, we love UnPosed and you will too! -

Cathy and Jeff were the perfect choice for our wedding photographers! My husband and I have always had problems taking photos together, always blinking, fake smiling, awkward angles, etc. But somehow they created magic! The morning after our wedding we saw the sneak peek video and both had tears in our eyes. Later after watching it multiple times, we marveled at how good we looked! Then 3 weeks later when we saw the whole gallery we were amazed at how many perfect shots they got. We had a large family to take pictures of as well as 11 children and they killed it! Besides for taking great pictures, Cathy and Jeff and great humans. They will make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. After working/talking with them you will feel like you have 2 new friends. Highly highly recommend. -

A day full of quirks that worked
Cathy and Jeff were an absolute joy to work with. I got to know them at a previous wedding and saw how efficient, professional and FUN they were to be around so I knew that they would be the right ones to capture our big day. My now husband and I are pretty off-beat and they just went with it the whole weekend, allowing us to do all of the quirky things that made us.....us. They captured many great moments during our rehearsal dinner and then on the wedding day, Cathy hung out with the girls at the salon while Jeff was with the guys prepping at the hotel, and everything just fell into place for the next 12+ hours. There is a lot I don't remember about that weekend because it moved so fast, but luckily I have all of the awesome photos to remind me of how truly spectacular everything was. Thanks Unposed! -

From the first call to the last photo, Cathy and Jeff of Unposed gave us a great experience. They made us feel comfortable, kept us on schedule, and did probably the most important thing of all, great work with no added stress. They went above and beyond to make sure our special day was able to be just that, special. A lot of people go into to making a wedding day perfect and we will never forget them for helping us have that. I would highly, highly recommend using them for your wedding -

Cathy and Jeff are phenomenal. They were immensely helpful through the entirety of our wedding experience. Through planning our engagement pictures, answering any and all questions about planning such as flowers, timelines, food, music, and anything in between about the wedding and beyond. My husband hates getting his picture taken and was dreading that aspect of our wedding the most. After taking our engagement pictures he was so amazed at how laid-back and easy Jeff and Cathy made the experience that he was actually excited to take some pictures on our wedding day. We got married a year ago and we just received the sweetest note from Cathy and Jeff, as well as a flash drive with all our pictures on it. Everything with UnPosed is so personalized and thoughtful I can’t imagine having anyone else take pictures for us on our special day. It was truly a blessing to get to know them and have them with us every step of the way. Thank you Jeff and Cathy!! -

Cathy and Jeff of UnPosed Photography are truly exceptional when it comes to wedding photographers. If I could rate them as 10 out of 5 stars, I would because that's how amazing they are. Not only do they take incredible photos, but it's like having an extra pair of wedding coordinators when it comes to working with them. Cathy and Jeff reach out to their couples often with information, advice, and reminders to reach out to them for anything that you may need. I felt like I had already known Cathy and Jeff for years within our first few emails and that relationship only strengthened when we finally met them in person for our engagement shoot. My husband and I felt so comfortable working with Cathy and Jeff throughout our engagement session and wedding day because they are both so personable. When you choose to work with UnPosed Photography, you will walk away with incredible photos and relationships with people that you will basically consider family! They are definitely worth the price that you pay for their services that they offer and how much they go above and beyond the roles of typical photographers. -

They are extremely professional, amazing quality of service (providing the bride and groom goldfish because we are starving) haha, always willing to accommodate requests of family and friends and keeping you on track for your special day. Their response time is impeccable! Not only do they provide a stunning video of the wedding the day after so that family members and friends can all see they check in and see how you are doing and if there is anything else that they can do for you. I loved working with Unposed Photography and it was the best decision we ever made to have them. -

Additionally, and more importantly, they are genuine, friendly, and so thoughtful of the couples with whom they work. Kayla Sent on 05/11/2018Where do I even begin??! These 2 are AMAZING!! They are a dynamic duo and helped make sure my day was perfect. They are so very organized and the prep work before gave me such peace of mind. They brought things up that I hadn't even thought about discussing with my other vendors. They were there every step of the day and I really couldn't have imagined our day without them. They played every role whenever necessary just to keep things going smoothly. Jeff was even pinning in bobby pins :) That evening they even brought a battery pack for our LOVE sign letter for our night photo. WOW!! Blown away by them! Throughout the entire day and still today, weeks later, I am still getting compliments from family and friends about my photographers. And of course our photos turned out absolutely stunning. It was all a dream come true and wouldn't have been possible without them. We can truly say we have gained 2 new friends. And I must add, how amazing to wake up in the morning to a sneak peak video of your photos! And 10 days later all the photos ready to view and order!!!! 5 star service from beginning to end! Nicole Sent on 05/05/2018Cathy and Jeff are simply AMAZING. They are not just photographers, they are coordinators, personal attendants, hair stylists, etc. Most of my morning was spent with Cathy and she held onto my garters all day because they wouldn't stay up, she held onto my lip gloss and reapplied it for me, she tightened my shoes, put extra bobby pins in my hair, etc. Jeff was with the guys and I know he helped them with pinning their flowers on and he had safety pins to help with tuxes that weren't cooperating. They also give you a very detailed schedule of the day for about every 15 minutes to a half hour so everyone is on the same page about where they need to be and when. We ran ahead of schedule pretty much all day which is extremely unheard of. They are just so good with knowing how long it will take to do things and we never felt rushed, which is a huge benefit because you get to enjoy your day more when you aren't rushed or behind schedule. Cathy and Jeff are also not just a vendor, they truly take the time to get to know you as a couple. We went on a few dinner dates with them and we would take wedding items that needed to be discussed and then when we were finished with that we just talked about life. It was extremely comforting getting to know them on a personal level and to feel comfortable with them! They are also the photographers you want if you are not looking for wedding photos that are just like everybody else's. They don't have a list of photos that they are looking to get (aside from family formals) they just roll with it and get ideas based on your wedding party and you as a couple. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

They take spectacular photos and my husband and I were extremely satisfied with the quality of their work. They have also worked many weddings, so they were full of great advice when it came to deciding on a timeline and helping put together last minute details. They were fun, professional, and our photos are keepsakes that we will treasure forever. They are the best! -

Lisa Sent on 11/28/2014Cathy and Jeff of Unposed Photography were absolutely incredible from start to finish during our wedding! They traveled all the way to Chicago to spend the day with us for Engagement Photos and truly became our friends at that point. During the planning process they were always so prompt in responding to emails and helping us remain calm and collected. I always felt reassured that I didn't have anything to worry about leading up to the big day!
Our wedding day was absolutely flawless and this was due to Unposed setting a clear schedule and sticking to it...we were even ahead of schedule they were so on top of things! All of our photos are absolutely stunning and they truly listened to everything we told them we wanted. I would recommend them 10 times over to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. With Unposed you not only get two incredibly talented photographers but two amazing people that are passionate about their art and making the bride and groom feel (and look!) like a million bucks! Thank you so much, we will forever be grateful!
