  There wasn't a great selection of food to choose from, but what they had was great. Although it was a tad pricey. The portions fed more than they told me, so we had a lot of food left over. They eventually let us keep the leftovers after some good begging! :) They also didn't have any condiments for the subs (we were told they'd have individual packets)... so they ended up giving us a little bit of a refund.

  Chartwells catered my reception at the Crimson View at the University of Utah. They were the only caterers that Crimson View would let me use. The coordinator who helped us plan the menu was great. We told her what we wanted, what our budget was and she helped get stuff in our price range that would feed everybody. Everything was a little expensive but when you have to prepare that much food I guess it always ends up being pricey. There were some things that we wanted that weren't on the menu and she even helped us figure out how much it would cost to do them. The only thing they don't make you get through them is a Wedding Cake. Overall they were okay, but I wasn't happy not being able to choose whoever I wanted.

  Chartwells provided the food for a small reception at the Union Ballroom at the U. The food was quite good and larger than expected portions. The value was average considering the price, but the staff was professional and timely. Nicely done overall.
