Amazing!

Universal Weddings was amazing. So easy to work with, extremely flexible, FUN & valued my requests. They kept the party going all night. All of our guests complimented how fun our wedding was and the DJ played a huge part in that!! 10/10 recommend

Great DJ, Great event!

Jacob was so easy to work with and easily understood our taste in music. He was a great coordinator of the flow of the evening. When one of my dads friends wanted the chicken dance played he was conscientious to come and ask me so I could deny the request haha. Jacob really looked out for us and it was the perfect evening.

Everything We Could've Asker For and More!

Jake did an incredible job playing all of the music we had in our playlist. He was professional and kept the part going until closing time! The timing of our walk-up music was perfect, and we had no audio issues being mic'd up during the vows. I'd highly recommend him for your wedding!

Worth the money!

Best thing I spent money on!! Jake wasn’t just a DJ, he was a huge part of the entire wedding process!! We were blessed to have a beautiful, traditional wedding at Pechanga Casino, and he really set the tone for the whole event and was the backbone for my organization when I felt overwelmed. Our coordinator wasn’t what we hoped for and Jake gave us great advice and made us feel like we weren’t alone taking on the huge task of planning our wedding! Because of his professionalism, experience, and people skills we were able to capture so many truly heartfelt moments that every couple hopes for on their special day!! That’s what lasts forever!!!

Jake is the Best!

We hired Jake at Universal Weddings and Events for our wedding reception in November 2022. He absolutely made it the most wonderful night! From the second he got there he made sure everything ran smoothly and ask questions to clarify major points in the night, which I greatly appreciated! He followed the genre of music we discussed and his software made it easy to list it all out. Our guests had the best time and mentioned out great of a DJ he was. I highly recommend him!

Amazing DJ!!!

Jake and his team were absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to make our wedding special. When we first started planning our wedding we were going to just elope so when it came down to what we wanted from vendors I had no idea. We were doing a super small wedding with only 16 people total. I text and emailed Jake about what we were looking for and a little bit about what we liked and he took it and ran with it and did an amazing job choosing what to play. We have already talked about hiring Jake and his company again when we decide to do a big reception.

Awesome Wedding DJ

Jake was fantastic! He is professional, responsive and has great communication. Not only did Jake do a great job during our wedding party understanding the vibe and playing great music, but he also set up a sound system for our wedding ceremony that had a fantastic balance of sound for the wedding guests (this extra sound system for the ceremony requires an additional fee, which was totally worth it for us). We absolutely recommend working with Jake.

Perfect music to a perfect wedding

Jacob was more than amazing at our wedding. Not having book a DJ before, he helped me along the way with all my questions. I wanted specific violin cover songs for before the ceremony and during happy hour. He made it happen! The online system was easy to understand and very thorough breaking down each moment of our wedding. The reception mix was perfect, everyone made it onto the dance floor that night. Thank you again! People are still talking about the music!

Perfection.

AMAZING! So easy to work with even with postponing due to COVID. Everything was perfect and with the planning forms you are given, there was no issues with song selections at all. Would 100% recommend Jacob to future brides and grooms.

Incredible Experience

DJ Jake was incredible. He was an awesome communicator and checked on us periodically. His calls were short and to the point which we loved. He went above and beyond to make our day special by working with me to surprise my husband with a recorded song. His responsiveness to emails were prompt. If you want a DJ who will make you feel confident on your big day DJ Jake is your guy!!!

Amazing DJ

Jacob was so easy to work with. The online portal really helped simplify the planning process. I believe we had 2 fairly quick calls and it was done! Day of we had an an absolute blast! Jacob kept the day running smoothly and made sure we had a great day.

Wedding 9/18/21

Jake and his team were absolutely AWESOME to work with! Jake was kind, flexible (we had to change our wedding multiple times due to covid) and organized. We could not have asked for a better DJ. His music choices were fire! Our guests were on the dance floor nearly 100% of the time because he kept playing hits! We really didn't want the night to end. We are very grateful for Jake and his team and would definitely use him for future events.

Could Not Ask for a Better DJ!

Jake and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were flexible with having to postpone due to Covid. Jake was so easy to communicate with and when the wedding day finally came he did an exceptional job. The music was great all night from the ceremony and cocktail hour to MCing and keeping the dance floor hot. Everything was just perfect - we couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Our wedding 7/30/21

Jacob was awesome! He was easy to contact at any time either text or email. We even had a meeting with him before the wedding to go over all of the details. On the day of he had everything set up and did exactly what we talked about. We would defiantly recommend him to our friends :)

Couldn't have been better!

Phenomenal!!

Jake was such a pleasure to work with he literally MADE our wedding!!! Provided our whole ceremony and rehearsal with all the music we suggested it couldn't have been more perfect! He was very friendly and easygoing and very flexible especially due to rain with an outside ceremony no matter what obstacle came his way he took care of it! A true professional

I would highly recommend Universal Weddings and events for any type of event! I am in the catering business and found Jake at a wedding venue we are both contracted as vendors. I could tell he was good at what he did during the event because he was very focused and on time with the timeline, but also flexible and still very friendly the whole time. As a caterer, I notice when a DJ is or is not very capable of using solely their voice and quick announcements to move guests from event to event through out the evening. You will not have this problem with Jake, because has mastered grabbing the audience's attention while still speaking in a charismatic and friendly tone. Beside all the day of routine, as we hired Jake for our wedding, my wife and I had the pleasure of working with him personally and his amazing online platform to help us decide all of the music for all the different segments of the wedding. Who knew how much work and detail could go into making a wedding feel as personally tailored for each unique couple's big day. He made the whole process so easy and enjoyable! If you decide to go with Universal Weddings and Events, you will be glad you had the stress free enjoyable service at your hands, to help make one more thing go smoothly. Planning an event is already stressful enough, this company will truly meet all of your DJ needs and exceed all of your expectations.

Jake & Jeremy at DJ Pros - AMAZING!!

We had an amazing experience with Jake and Jeremy at DJ Pros. Jeremy initiated most of the communication via email and phone, he sent us over song lists to help us decide which songs to pick for special moments, and made himself available pretty much 24/7 for us!! Jake was our DJ and he did such an amazing job hosting our event. He made sure everything moved along smoothly for the evening and most importantly made sure our guests had a great time! We got so many compliments! During the planning process, Jake responded to all of our requests right away and sent over a last minute question email to make sure he had literally every detail spot on - love that from a vendor, when they pay special attention!! Overall, Jake and Jeremy show that they 110% value their clients and would do whatever it takes to make them happy on their special day. Thank you so much, gentlemen!!

Best DJ/MC Ever!

Jacob was an amazing DJ/MC! From the start, he was professional and attentive. He made the whole process simple and painless. During our consultations, he asked questions I didn't think of and helped plan to make my wedding day perfect, including being open to my requests for a dance battle and other little things. We had some hiccups and changes day of the wedding and Jacob handled every situation to the best of his abilities to make the day seem flawless. My husband and I had such a wonderful event and a part of that is because of Jacob.

I was probably the biggest pain to work with since I completely forgot to even pick music and did everything last minute but, Jake NAILED it! Best dj ever!

Working with Universal Wedding Events (Jacob Corirossi) was such a breeze. He made it easy for us to input the music we wanted and was so responsive during the planning process. What really impressed us though was during and after the wedding how many of our guests came up to us and said how great the music was. It flowed perfect from dinner to dancing and he really understood the mood of the crowd and dance floor while also being true to what we requested. He also made sure to check in with us about announcements and timing so we were all on the same page without being disruptive to the wedding. I would recommend him a million times to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Sensational! Above & beyond the call of duty! HIGHLY Recomend!!!

There just aren't words to describe how grateful we are to have had Jacob run our wedding. Talk about skills, he was our officiant as well as our DJ and he managed to flow through out wedding seamlessly & made it the most memorable moment of our entire lives (& I have lived). He was professional while also making us feel comfortable & even laugh. All of our guests commented on what a wonderful job he did & everyone was impressed by his calm demeanor despite having to run up & down stairs repeatedly in order to keep things rolling on schedule. Our photographer kept us way to long but Jake was able to stall & entertain the crowd or over 2 hours and he was easy going and flexible when the whole schedule of events was delayed. He stayed as long as he had to without pestering us with upcharges or overtime & always had a smile and a positive attitude. I can't say enough about how highly I recommend Jacob & you would be remiss to not at the very least give him a call for a consultation. I promise it will be an easy choice :) Good luck & Congratulations!!

Jake is an outstanding DJ! He did such a great job at our wedding and we had so many great comments about the music. He was always very quick to respond to our questions, informative on how we should set the pace of the reception, super flexible on what we wanted to do, was on point with all the music queues we gave him, and did a great job with a trivia game we asked him to do. 10 minutes before he was supposed to end his shift we asked him to stay for an extra half hour and he had no problem keeping the party going. Thank you Jake for helping to make our wedding a kick ass party!

Highest recommendation!

Jake was the DJ for our wedding this fall and he was MAGIC. He has a great presence, excellent musical sensibilities, and a masterful way of creating a great atmosphere (without being overbearing or ego-y, like so many other DJs).

The DJ/music is such an important part of an event, and Jake was on it. He made sure everyone who needed to be heard was heard. During the ceremony, he mic'ed us perfectly. It happened to be very windy, but the audio through the speakers was clear as a bell, and a very comfortable volume. Later in the evening, during dancing, he really brought our vision to life... we specifically asked for no top-40s, and he did a great job playing music that was fun and relatable and our style. He kept the party going throughout the night in a really inclusive way. Everyone was on the dance floor. Again, he really nailed it with the volume — the music inspired people to get up and dance (but it wasn't aggressively loud, as DJs sometimes can be).

The evening was a whirlwind, a constant flurry of activity. Jake approached me a couple times to ask if we were ready to cut the cake or do our first dance. Each time he came up to me, I noticed his calm, helpful style... I felt totally supported by him throughout the night, as if he were my good friend looking out for me, taking extra care to make everything as perfect as possible.

After our wedding, I faced an onslaught of unsolicited feedback from my family. I didn't get one tiny complaint about the music. Not one. In fact, many people went out of their way to say how good the music was. Jake was able to impress and delight a group of professional complainers. I don't know if there is a higher compliment.

Short story: hire Jake. He's a class act. So positive, easygoing, and helpful. He was a highlight of our wedding, hands down. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Our guests packed the dance floor all night!

We hired Jacob Corirossi for our wedding at the recommendation of a friend and could not be happier. His website made planning each piece of the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception so easy and he filled in all the blanks with fantastic song choices that fit the feel we wanted for each part. He was super responsive to last minute emails and a friendly face all night. Our dance floor was packed for the entire reception— all we could hope for! Highly highly recommend!

My wife Alyssa and I were so busy planning everything around the wedding, that we started worrying about the music component a bit. But we didn't need to, because Jake was totally on the same wavelength when it came to planning the soundtrack for our awesome day! Jacob is amazing. I reached out to Jacob based on reviews I saw online. I needed a local DJ and after speaking with about 5 DJs I choose Jacob. Could not be more happy about that decision. Not only did he know how to work the crowd at our wedding reception with perfect music chooses but his timing for ceremony music, MC skills were perfect.

We had to change venue locations at the last minute and Jacob was able to introduce me to the owner of another location that was able to host. Its been 2 weeks since our wedding and people still compliment us about how perfect the wedding was and Jacob is a huge part of that days success. No joke here people, Jacob did an exceptional job DJ’ing my wedding. On top of being professional he was very accommodating and gave great advice to us in areas where we didn’t know what to do! All of our guest all commented on how great of a wedding it was, and how great the music was. Jake was absolutely amazing from day 1. He was super responsive (he'd answer emails within a few minutes) and happy to answer any and all of our questions. He has a well organized website allowing you to choose songs, plan out the day's timeline, and include details about toasts, ceremonies, special dances. It really helped me plan since he'd thought of everything already. My father/daughter dance was to a super obscure song and Jake was totally accomodating (so grateful!). On the day of the wedding he was very professional and organized, but also relaxed and easy to talk to as though he was one of the guests. He did an excellent job at keeping things flowing smoothly and sticking to the timeline without making anything feel rushed. My guests all loved him, the music was fantastic quality, and I'd say he's one of the main reasons our wedding was so successful!

When I began planning my wedding, I thought a DJ/MC would be completely unnecessary. We thought we could easily cut this from the budget and just have a friend cue up music using a laptop or iPod. Cut to a week before the big day and I realized that this would mean that a friend who I loved and wanted to enjoy themselves at my wedding would essentially miss the ceremony and parts of the evening because they'd be responsible for such a crucial element of the day. So at the last minute, we reached out to Jake of Universal Weddings and Events and not only was he available, but he was very affordable. And, even bigger bonus, he was AMAZING at the wedding! We used Jake as our DJ for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was great to work with - from an easy online portal to submit our song requests/timeline, promptly answering emails/questions, and being patient with us as we were a little last minute in submitting our requests. : / He did a great job in keeping the evening moving according to the timeline we provided, as well as improvising and adjusting when things came up last minute. He played our requested songs, as well as taking requests from guests (with our permission)...he did well at staying away from our "do not play" list. Jake was a fantastic DJ. He sent us an organized guide where we added our music requests and ceremony plan and he took it from there. We sent him a ton of music requests by niche artists for the different parts of the wedding and for the most part, the songs we requested showed up! He's also very flexible and worked with me during the reception when I asked for a bit more time before we moved on to the next part. He also allowed me to improv and take over as emcee when our wedding guests needed a little 'encouragement' to join in on the anniversary dance.

To say that Jacob surpassed all our expectations is an uderstatement! Not only did he coordinate the music for our wedding perfectly (we had everything from an Irish Jig, to a flash mob, to a flamenco dance and then a candle ceremony at a separate location from the dance floor) but he MC'd every moment with poise and professionalism. We chose to use Jacob with Universal Weddings and Events instead of going with the usual DJs of our venue. We are so glad we did!
