Ron was awesome

Ron was hired to DJ our wedding reception on 6/18/22 it was a small event, with family and friends. Ron played all the right music during dinner and dancing which he kept our guests on the dance floor. Everyone had a time thanks again Ron for making our day very special.

Amazing Experience!!

DJ Ron was courteous, professional, and energetic. He was flexible and attended every meeting prior to the wedding, and during the reception he exceeded our expectations; the crowd’s energy was through the roof. He is an excellent vendor, and always prioritizes the customer’s needs. I will be using him again during any upcoming major function, and I strongly recommend him as well!

The Best DJ and more

DJ Ron saved my wedding. First off his customer service skills and professionalism are outstanding. Two weeks before our wedding, we had to let our first DJ go, sadly. Ron was available in such short notice. He stepped in and ran with it. I appreciated his thoroughness and care for the customer experience. He does his job very well. The vibe was right for the entire night from beginning to end and had everyone asking for a soundtrack. I can't thank Ron and UME enough. You'll definitely be in great hands when you book their services.

Ron and his crew were exceptional! Our wedding night was epic and unforgettable, and they were a big part of that. Way before the actual night, Ron was excellent at getting to know my wife and I and our style. He communicated throughout the entire process making sure that he knew all that we wanted. He even came through with the fog machine and photo booth, all at a very affordable price. Also, he's a super cool dude, chill yet energetic, great MC and DJ. He hyped up our groomsmen vs. bridesmaid dance battle and got the whole crowd involved. That man had everyone swag surfing, even grandma lol. Seriously though, we truly enjoyed their service and would definitely recommend again and again.

Phenomenal Dj - Married

We hired Ron and from our first phone conversation we loved his energy! He provided ceremony, cocktail and reception music for our wedding . Let’s just say the same energy he gave us on the phone was the same energy he gave to our wedding the whole day through. I’m STILL getting guest saying the Dj kept us dancing all night and that is exactly what we wanted , we couldn’t have asked for a better person and my dad even enjoyed the conversation he had with him afterwards just a really great people person all around. Thank you again for making our day soo much more special we would definitely recommend you to any of our friends and not just for weddings .

Just plain awesome!

Ron did a fantastic job, just as he has done for our dances in the past. Despite some challenges at the venue, a high school gym, Ron had the kids up dancing and having a great time. We look forward to working with him again in the future, hiring UME means you don't have to worry about your music being awesome.

I found DJ Ron Mic about 4 years ago when he was the DJ at a birthday party I was attending. What immediately captured my attention was his ability to "get the crowd hype!" He was able to switch the music without missing a beat! Moving forward each year, I kept running into DJ Ron Mic and it was the same thing, AMAZING! He was so versatile!! No matter the attendees requested, he has the music for all occasions!! I just requested the DJ service for my wedding but when Ron arrived and evaluated how my venue was set up, he topped it off with some uplighting at no additional charge! Ron comes highly recommended and will not leave you disappointed! I will never forget how successful he made my day and the epic fun my guests had! He is the absolutely BEST DJ AROUND!

My husband's, and I are beyond satisfied for having Mr. Ronald Mitchel DJ our wedding! Mr. Mitchel was extremely professional and provided quality customer services to us, and our guests. The uplighting, and the musics was way more than what I expected, so all my envision was over met! Mr. Mitchel gave me a flow map of the order I wanted my reception and ceromony to flow. We received multiple compliments, feedbacks from family and friends of how much of a good time they had. The guest wants to go back to that night, and I will definitely recommends Mr. Mitchel to future clients. Some of the guests is already inquiring Mr. Mitchel for their future events!

My daughter initially selected this vendor. I had someone else in mind that I had met at a wedding show. I was so pleased with the services from day one! I worked with Ron. He was very professional and most of all VERY flexible. He made our event happen just as we had imagined. I can honestly say I never heard him say anything negative during the entire planning of events! He has the patience of Job, for all those who can relate. We initially contracted for the music during the ceremony and reception. When he realized what we wanted for the wedding ceremony he advised that he could handle it all! The draping, up lighting and DJ services exceeded our expectations! His prices for the draping were the best we had received at the time, which caused a little doubt for a moment, but he kept assuring us that all would be fine. Well it was more than fine, it was all that we imagined, and then some!! My friends and family are still commenting on the elegance of the ceremony!
The DJ services were totally on point; the music was not too loud and he kept the guests on the floor and well entertained! There was a great mix of music. Everyone still talks about the fun they had at the wedding reception! Ron made sure to have all genres of music after verifying where our friends and family were coming from. We had guests from CA, DC, NC, MA, and Florida, and EVERYONE had a great time. The older guests even enjoyed watching the younger guests dance and interact to the music! I can go on and on! We were VERY pleased with all services provided! Universal Music Entertainment with DJ Ron would be my first choice with any future event!

We contacted Ron (owner of UME) to be our DJ after our initial DJ had to cancel. Ron came on board and was SO MUCH MORE than we could have asked for. He ended up not only being our DJ but took over for lighting and decor as well. He literally TRANSFORMED the room with pipe and drapes and up lights. Between him and Royal Events & Services- we literally had a wedding out of a dream. He hands down beat any competitor’s price, had quality materials and equipment, a variety of colors and options to choose from, and lots of photos from previous events to show us. We gave him a vision & he executed it perfectly & added a few suggestions we never would have thought of. At one point, we were considering selecting another venue within thirty days of our wedding and within the hour Ron had three managers from other venues on the phone with quotes ready to negotiate with me. Guests of all ages said the music was GREAT. Certain things we didn’t know until the day of if we wanted to include in our reception or not- but he had the perfect music selections on standby just in case. His team was great with setup and tear down and they even helped at the rehearsal so we could get a true feel of the day of. He spent many late nights preparing for our wedding even though he was busy with prom season and other weddings. He was always available by text and willingly made adjustments as needed. He always was very professional in his attire and his conversations with us. My wedding day was A BLAST!

This is literally the only vendor my husband had any input on. My husband found DJ Ron via instagram and immediately liked his work. Definitely hard to get in touch with but that is because he is constantly working and his instagram shows it. Best way is once you get his number text him! :-D that is the fastest way he can respond to you which makes sense if he is constantly at a party lol. We loved DJ Ron he even got a few people on the dance floor at our wedding that don't dance at all. He did our drapery as well and it was beautiful. He was also able to get us in contact with someone who rented out chiavari chairs and they were spot on with pulling the whole look together. Overall he is a great person, great energy! Thank you!!!

DJ Chance was absolutely what me and my mom needed for our combined 30/50 birthday party. He honored our request and kept all the music clean and played a lot of the songs on our requested playlist. My mom randomly called my uncle to the dance floor to sing us a song. My uncle told DJ Chance he couldn't sing without music. Within seconds DJ Chance played the PERFECT song for him to sing to us "My girl." My mom felt like that was what started the party! Lol! Everyone is raving about DJ Chance! I cannot say enough good things about my DJ. I knew I wanted to have a good time at my reception and they did not disappoint! I almost forgot to eat my dinner because the music during the meal was so good I could not stop dancing/singing. Some of my guests were on the dance floor while waiting for their turn at the buffet. Ron, our DJ, played a mix of hip-hop, R&B and reggae music that all of our guests of different age groups were able to enjoy. One of my guests even tried to book him for their upcoming wedding during my wedding. UME was very professional and provided microphones and uplighting. They were well within my budget and willing to travel, as my wedding took place in Orlando.

His services were exceptional! My guests were on the dance floor from the beginning to the end. One of the greatest things I appreciated with Ronald was the constant communication I had with him. If I had an idea or suggestion, I could text or email him and I would get a quick response and every idea/suggestion I gave him he followed through successfully.
Not only did he provide the ceremony and reception music he also provided up lighting, white dance floor, piping and draping and the dance floor monogram. I am so overjoyed with the services that were provided and would recommend his services to anyone looking for wedding DJ.

The two biggest things we wanted to be perfect at our wedding were the DJ and the food. I must say, Ron did not disappoint on the DJ aspect. From the moment the music started, until the reception ended, Ron played music that had the guests dancing all night long. There was not a time during the whole reception where the dance floor was empty. What more could you ask for from a DJ? Ron was very responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding and followed through on his promise to make sure guests were dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!

Ron was AMAZING. He started the party and ended the party. It was a Haitian-American wedding and he did a great job at combining a variety of music that everyone enjoyed. You can tell he loves what he does which makes the wedding day/reception even better!

We absolutely love DJ Ron!! He did his thing at our wedding and keep all of our guests on the dance floor. We actually were referred to Ron from a co-worker and I knew once we met that he was the one. He entertained our guests all the way through and he did not have to start with a line dance song to get our people on the floor because there were already there. He's a great guy with lots of energy. We asked him to play at least 4 different genres because our family is from the island and we wanted a mixture of music and he did not disappoint! I would hire him again!

My new husband and I loved Ron from Universal Entertainment!! He is absolutely awesome! He was referred to us from my wedding planner when we told her we wanted a great party at our wedding and that the music was one of our top priorities. Ron did not disappoint! He kept the whole room on their feet the entire time. We got so many compliments on the music and how fun our wedding was. It could not have been done without our fantastic DJ. We highly recommend Ron and if we have any other parties in the future where we need a DJ, Ron is our guy!!

Universal music entertainment was absolutely fantastic. We had a unique experience in that we actually had two separate DJ’s. We had one DJ do the ceremony and a second for the reception. We had a phone meeting a few days prior to the ceremony to iron out a few details regarding the processional music. As we chose songs for the ceremony my husband and I came up with some unorthodox ideas regarding how to play the music- both DJ’s made that ceremony vision come to life. We corresponded most with DJ Ron- who DJ’d our reception. He is very warm, welcoming and kind. From the moment we spoke to him we knew we wanted him to be our DJ. He was not as strict (as other DJ’s can be) with coming up with a pre-planned reception playlist and has a very unique ability to feel the crowd out. He was high energy, fun and even got on the dance floor occasionally to show the guests how to do certain dances. He was fantastic! The energy of the music really does have a huge influence on the experience and the energy was phenomenal. Our reception turned out to be an amazing PARTY in part to DJ Ron and his team. We highly recommend him.

Ron at Universal Music Entertainment helped to make our wedding a blast!! I told him we wanted our guests (young and old alike) to dance, have fun, and let loose at our wedding reception and he made it happen. He knows how to get people involved, and on the dance floor and really just made the evening a wonderful time.

I would recommend Ron to anyone looking for a DJ for a wedding or any other event. He is friendly, professional, and knows how to bring the house down!!! Thank you Ron for such a wonderful evening. We really enjoyed working with you- you are awesome!!

Ron at Universal Music Entertainment is the best!!! He is very professional and reliable. He makes you feel very comfortable and is very knowledgeable about music, uplighting, monograms etc. We have a very diverse group of family and friends, and Ron was able to keep everyone on the dance floor and very happy. He played a great mixture of Haitian music, Reggae, Soca, American R&B, Rap, Christian Rap, line dance songs (Wobble, Cupid Shuffle etc.) It was definitely a great party atmosphere. He also served as our MC and did a fantastic job and was able to stay in our timeline. Everyone kept telling us how much fun they had at our wedding, and it's all thanks to Ron. The entire Universal Music Entertainment team is great, but Ron is my fav!!! They are based in Tampa, Fl but travel everywhere, and they are definitely worth it!

DJ Ron was hands down the best thing about my wedding reception!! He is both very kind and professional. He knew exactly what songs to play that would get everybody moving and dancing. At the end of the reception, nobody wanted to leave because the music was that good. We all requested one more encore song because we were all having so much fun! Thank you Ron for an amazing night!! I have been planning events at the high school level for 20 years and Ron is by far the best DJ I have with whom I have worked. He is not only responsive and professional, but also had a real ability to gauge the crowd and provide music to keep everyone active and entertained. I would highly recommend he and his DJ's to anyone. He is especially good at selecting music appropriate for a school function.

DJ. Ron is awesome. He exceeded my expectations and had the party going all night long. Our wedding was an epic experience, and I am so happy that Ron was a part of it. When my husband and I first met Ron a year ago for our wedding interview, he was so humble and genuine. You could see that he loved what he did. At that point we knew that Ron would not only partake in our wedding, but he would also become a dear friend and he has been a great friend. My husband and I are from the Caribbean and asked Ron to play a good mix of reggea, soca, r and b and hip hop and boy did her deliver. I gave him a list to work from and he took the time to find all of it even though he never had the music already. He played songs I didn't even know existed and we learned new things from each other. You so deserve all your success. You are an excellent DJ and an excellent person. Continue to do your thing Ron and all your blessing will continue to follow. Can't wait to have more celebrations with you.

We worked with Ron on our special day. We met with him in person a few months before the wedding to let him know what we wanted with the music selections on our big day. A few days before the wedding, he called us and verified our music selections. On the big day, he played an amazing selection of music and made sure that everyone was enjoying themselves. He got out on the dance floor and danced along with us and so many guests told us how much fun he was! I am so pleased to have had him DJ our big day. :)

DJ Ron was amazing!!! He made our wedding memorable for everyone. Ron was great from the start. He helped us with our vision from the first day we met. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were amazing. He kept in contact with us through the entire planning process. Our reception was amazing!!!! Everyone was on the dance floor all night. Universal Music Entertainment really delivered on our wedding day. Our DJ, Ron, was so cool to work with and he gave us a really good price. We were extremely pleased with the amount of Caribbean music that he played which was very important to us since my husband is Jamaican and we wanted to incorporate his culture on our wedding day. Ron provided us with the up lighting as well and it provided an extra touch to make our venue pop! Universal Music Entrainment provided high quality services and we really enjoyed working with Ron. I used Universal Music Entertainment for my wedding and Ron was superb! He surpassed my expectations and provided a wide variety of music. His selections kept my guests on the dance floor the entire night. While researching for a DJ, my needs were to find one that played Haitian music and Ron delivered. Anything from Djakout, to Carimi, to JBeatz and T-Vice. I was really impressed. One of my teen guests made a request and Ron made sure to first ask me....the Bride if it was my preference. The selection of music was beyond diversified and I was extremely satisfied! Also, as a keepsake Ron provided me with a CD that had song selections from my wedding. I play it whenever I am in the car and relive my entire wedding day everytime!........PRICELESS! I recommend UME to ANY future bride, Ron will surpass your needs and expectations!!

When we were planning our beach wedding we wanted to make sure that it would be a party we would never forget....and because of DJ Ron it was!!! DJ Ron was beyond amazing!!!
The dance floor was jamming whole night and he played a great mix of music; hip hop, salsa, old school jams, current hits. Before the wedding he made sure to find out the types of music we liked and our favorite artists. Our wedding reception felt so personalized and I could really feel both our families and our friends coming together to celebrate.

My one request for my wedding was that I wanted everyone to have fun, and omg did they. Ron Had everyone on the dance floor the entire reception He is awesome, he even had a 91 year old up and dancing. Ron even himself got out on the dance floor. He was awesome and if you have any sense you will hire him. He did a great announcer voice for our basketball themed reception entrance. We had 200 ppl at our weddig and we got sooooo many compliments on the Dj. I would recommend him to anyone he is so professional and sooooooo nice, flexible and will do anything he can to make your event perfect for you. A lot of ppl said it was the best wedding they had ever been too and a big part of that is bc of Ron.

Everything went great!! DJ Lady Shay was amazing and she did an awesome job, she fit in perfect with my friends and family! She played every song I wanted! Ron was great. Ronald and his assistant were professional and pleasant from the first phone call that we made from Waldorf, Maryland to his phone in Florida. He walked my wife and I through the different ways he would host the event. Boy did he come through. He became a part of the family and our special day. Ronald greeted our family and friends with a pleasant smile and beautiful attitude. Our wedding on the beach to the close of the reception at the Grand Plaza Hotel was more then we could have immagined.
He is the first and only choice for our future family events in Florida.

We had DJ Downy for a elementary school dance, and he was fantastic the entire night. From the time he showed up, he was prepared, professional, and fun. I was impressed that he was able to fill 2 straight hours with age appropriate dance music for children. He engaged both adults and students, but always maintained a professional demeanor. He was able to get shy kids to dance and keep the dancing kids going. Very pleased all around with their product and their attitudes. His set up was quick and efficient, and he was very flexible with our special circumstances. We would (and have) recommend UME to friends and use them again. Thanks for a great night of fun!

Ronald Michel was absolutely fantastic. Music was probably the most important thing to us when planning our reception. We looked and looked for someone we felt comfortable with. We have very diverse tastes as well as coming from different ethnic backgrounds. I'm sure we didn't make any of it easy but Ron was able to weave everything we wanted into a perfect 5+ hour party. There was never a lull. It was pretty much like he made the perfect mix tape. He did what a great DJ does - read the atmosphere and crowd and always have options for the moment. Totally recommend him. It didn't matter what age you were or what music you liked... you found yourself diggin' the vibe and on the dance floor.

Even before the wedding, DJ met with his a few times to make sure he knew what my husband and I wanted for our big day. He helped us plan as well, he is very experienced and knows the wedding industry well. My husband and I have different cultural backgrounds as well as different music tastes and he made sure to incorporate them all. All of our guests had a blast at our wedding!

DJ Ron with Universal Music...where do I even start?!!? He is amazing in every way. We had so many special wants and needs and he not only met those but he took everything up a notch. The music was everything we wanted, the special touches and the great ideas were awesome and done perfectly, and the lighting...couldn’t have helped make our reception look more beautiful. Anything you need or want...this guy will make it happen. He made sure to bring in some other DJ's from his team so that we had both an English and Spanish speaking DJ!! He is extremely professional, knows his stuff and is one of the nicest guys around!! Can’t wait to see him in action on our episode on MTV 3 Quiero Mi Boda!!

Dj Ron Michel was very great! His music transitioned very well in the ceremony and reception. He was able to keep the wedding on track with first dances, garter and bouquet tosses, cake cutting, etc. His attitude was great and he kept the guest dancing and smiling.

My husband and I hired DJ Ron for our wedding on June 4, 2011. We HIGHLY recommend him. He's easy to get along with, and has an awesome personality. There was not one complaint from our guest, only compliments. Everyone absolutely loved him, and friends soon to be married picked up his business card while at our wedding. Ron is the best and our wedding reception was awesome, thanks to him. He works with several other DJs, they have an extensive selection of tracks. There isn't a song these guys haven't heard of. From Classical to pop and everything you can possibly think of. The best part is that when it comes to wedding, they know their stuff and can make recommendations that are going to turn your event into something truly unique. They recommended replacing the unity candles with the unity sands and that was a terrific idea since we were having an outdoor wedding. They also made great suggestions for the music and we'd definitely recommend them.

Ron did an incredible job with our wedding! He made sure that songs sounds smooth and weren't choppy at all during the ceremony. He perfectly looped my entrance song so well that it was barely noticeable that the song had started over. At the reception, he was completely in sync with the guests and my groom. The songs desired we played and everyone kept raving about how much fun they had at the wedding.

Downy Belidor served as the DJ for our school dance. He did a fantastic job! The music was appropriate for middle school students; he brought cool lighting; he handled student request songs appropriately; he was very personable & accomodating for everything we needed & more! I've passed his information on to the PTSA group & we are planning to use his services again for our school dances. We highly recommend Downy Belidor!

Ron and his team did an awesome job. We gave him a lot of instruction in regards to music for different parts of our wedding and he nailed it all! He even gave us a CD of the music for the entire evening at the end of the night so we can relive the dancing for years to come. Our guests feet must have hurt (I know mine did) because everyone was on the dance floor all night! Thanks Ron :D

Wedding Day

Universal Music Entertainment are extremely professional and over exceeded my expectations. They are extremely flexible and for a specific bride such as myself they made everything run smoothly. I forgot about sound for my ceremony and they reminded me per conversation about it. My guest were dancing all night.

Ron rocked the wedding all night long! He played exactly the music I asked for, and when things were a little slow on the dance floor, he knew just what to play to get some of the "older" guests out on the floor and jumping around as if they were teenagers! Dancing at my wedding was very important to me, and he really made that happen. Also, he came out onto the dance floor and busted a few moves himself! What fun! Thanks Ron!

Amazing! DJ Ron Mic definitely exceeded our expectations!

DJ Ron Mic is such a great DJ and kind person. He knows how to read the crowd and makes sure people are always dancing and having a great time. He sees the vision you have and understands the vibe you want to have for your event. My wedding was a blast and a huge part of that was because we had a great DJ! Highly recommend and I already told my husband, if (and when) we have another party, DJ Ron Mic will be the only DJ I want for the celebration.
