We could not recommend Demetric more. From the moment we met him, his calm, cool, and collected presence instantly put us at ease. My husband and I are not naturally comfortable in front of a camera, but Demetric made us feel relaxed, confident, and completely at home.
On my wedding day—when I was definitely freaking out—his steady and reassuring energy meant everything. I spoke with many photographers before choosing one, but I knew immediately that Demetric was the right fit for us. He made not just us, but our families and loved ones, feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire day.
He was so professional and efficient that he got the exact shots we needed quickly and without wasting a moment of anyone’s time. Because he made it look so effortless, I briefly wondered how the photos would turn out—but once we received them, our breaths were completely taken away. There were so many absolutely FANTASTIC photos, and we couldn’t be happier.
Demetric is truly the best. We are beyond grateful for him and hope he’ll be our photographer again someday for future family photos! -

Working with Demetric is the best decision you can make. Both him and Jamar were absolutely wonderful, and so talented. All of our guests also loved them! It was like having 2 more friends there at the wedding. And the sneak peaks we’ve gotten so far are absolutely stunning. Demetric is so creative and takes the time to learn what his clients are looking for. He also did our engagement photos, which we still get compliments on to this day! I highly recommend Demetric and I’m already looking forward to the next time we have an excuse to hire him! -

When we started our search for photographers, we knew we wanted to work with someone we "clicked" with because that would translate to us being comfortable in front of the camera. I remember the first call with Demetric and just feeling such a sense of ease compared to other photographers we had spoken with, which continued into our first meeting in DC. His flexibility and advice through our planning process was so helpful too.
On our wedding day, Demetric made us and our guests feel so comfortable -- this is such a gift to any couple on a day that is fueled by all of the emotions. Demetric's thoughtfulness, guidance, and joy were so special to have as a part of this day. And while we got to experience someone with such a relaxed demeanor, we know his focus is always on the details of the compositions and capturing unique images in his beautiful style. Demetric's work is incredibly dynamic and his photos are so rich -- we are counting down the days to see more photos from our wedding day!
All in all, if you want someone who is going to roll with the punches, give you awesome ideas, and make you feel at ease, Demetric and his United Photography team are the way to go! -

I am so thankful that we chose to go with United Photography for our wedding day. Demetric was truly the best photographer that we could've asked for. We felt so comfortable around him and he made the photo taking process so smooth and effortless at our wedding! The photos were absolutely STUNNING. We could not have asked for a better experience or person to capture our special day. He was super communicative prior to the wedding and helped answer and plan for all of the questions that my mom asked him. Hiring Demetric is one of the best choices you can make for your wedding or engagement. Getting the photography right was one of the most important things to me about our and I feel so lucky we found Demetric. I truly think he's one of the most talented wedding photographers in the DC-area. He really nails this tricky combination in wedding photography by taking photographs that are romantic and evocative, but also artistic and unique -- without being over the top, which is rare in couple photography. He just has such a great eye.
He's also incredibly chill and friendly and easy to work with. Having a photographer following you around during such a big day could feel stressful but Demetric made it low-key and easy. You won't regret hiring him!! -

Can’t say enough about how nice it was working with Demetric. We came across his work on IG (@_unitedphotography_) and loved his ascetic. Reaching out for more info was easy cause Demetric was so responsive. Our phone calls and check-ins were always pleasant and efficient. Demetric did a great job of asking follow-up questions to ensure the most important parts of our day were captured. On the day of, Demetric was extremely flexible and fun to work with while also making sure all the things we talked about capturing were photographed. Overall, working with United Photography was great - and the sample photos we’ve already received are exactly what we were hoping for. 5/5

I can’t express how happy we were with United Photography and Demetric. He is absolutely amazing - professional, fun and easy to work with. We love how our wedding pictures turned out, he made perfect portraits and candids and we couldn’t be happier. He will tell you exactly what you need to do so if you don’t know how to pose, what will look good etc. so don’t worry! If you have any doubts I would just say we interviewed a lot of photographers in DC and so glad we decided to go with Demetric. I couldn’t recommend him enough - we truly had such a great experience. -

Wedding photographer
Demetric did our engagement photos and we were so happy with them we had him do our wedding photos. We chose Demetric because we really loved his style. His photos are not your average, boring, over exposed, cheesy photos. He takes beautiful photos using the architecture and spaces/locations of the photo shoots in a unique way. Demetric and his assistant, Jamar, were amazing the day of the wedding - they were very professional, but easy going and flexible especially when we had a few things come up. When our first look location fell through, Demetric immediately came up with a great idea on the spot! My husband and I highly recommend booking him! -

Loved Working with Demetric!
I highly highly recommend Demetric to anyone looking for an amazing photographer!! He is so fun and easy to work with. Even though it was the first time my fiance and I have taken formal photos, he made us feel totally at ease during our engagement shoot. Not to mention the photos he took are absolutely stunning! He doesn't preplan his shots and has an eye for light and shadow that make for beautiful, dramatic photos that I cannot wait to frame in our home. We reached out to Demetric as a long
Shot via Instagram because we absolutely LOVED his work. We didn’t think he would 1. Be available for our date since it was only 4 months out and 2. Be in our budget because his work was so amazing. But we got so lucky and he was available for our October 15th wedding and willing to work within our means. From the moment we had our first conversation with him we knew he was going to be great for us. We were so right. He was ready to go as soon as he got to the venue and made everything so easy and effortless on our end. My husband does not feel comfortable in front of a camera but somehow he even managed to put him at ease and the pictures we got have simply blown us away! Demetric was not just an amazing photographer, he was an awesome person and so much fun to have at our wedding! I am so beyond happy we took the chance and just reached out to him. My husband and I found Demetric on Instragram and am so glad that we did! He did an incredible job photographing our engagement shoot and wedding. We felt so at ease with him and never nervous that he wouldn't do an amazing job. He has such a knack for finding creative, innovative ways of capturing moments that no one else would think of. He is also amazing at capturing candids, which are a personal favorite of ours. There are so many photographers out there, but they are not one in the same! Demetric truly has a gift and my husband and I will never stop recommending him!

My husband and I had a fast turnaround for our wedding (1 month after proposing) and I could not be happier that we chose Demetric to make our memories so beautiful!! Demetric is punctual, responsive and was incredibly flexible with our unusual demands due to the nature of the inter-cultural wedding. Demitric was there when I didn't even expect him to be. I tried to be as informative as possible about my venue to help him get acclimated and he took it upon himself to get there early even before our contractually agreed upon time. That up front spoke volumes to me. Demitric was kind to me, my guests, my now husband, and he went the extra mile to even start slipping photos to us before we even returned from our honeymoon! He really is eager to please, is wonderful to work with, and was so wonderfully priced considering my wedding was so small when others wanted $3,000 for 4 hours at a wedding with only 40 people. I didn't need a team following me around, I didn't need someone watching me get ready....I got exactly what I needed and our moments were all captured with the exceptional service of one person ------ Demitric -

We had an excellent experience! It was a surprise engagement and he did such a great job. The photos really captured the real emotional reactions, which turned into beautiful photographs. I had no idea he was even there at first, which is tough given that it was only the three of us at this usually packed memorial. He had great ideas and worked really well to improvise in the moment. It was a rainy night and we ended up incorporating his um tells into some of the photos, which turned out to be stunning! The photographs turned out beautiful (and he somehow made me look like I hadn’t been at a holiday party for four hours prior 😊). Couldn’t recommend more! -
