Beautiful photos

We got a lot of beautiful photos back from them. In total we got over 800 pictures and it's so nice because they send you links to be able to download them as well as a thumbdrive.

Terrific from start to finish!

Mike and his assistant Chloe did an excellent job capturing my daughter's wedding, Their beautiful photos really show the fun and love the day was full of. Mike was able to wrangle our family and friends together without feeling pushy for a lot of great group pictures. We received our pictures in less than a week with so many to chose from. We definitely recommend Unique Moments, Mike's experience shows in the photos and his kind personality made the day even better.

LOVED working with these guys!!

Upon first meeting Mike and Karen, my husband and I knew we needed to hire them to shoot our wedding this past August. They were very knowledgable and their work was amazing!

Throughout the entire process, they were incredibly helpful. They were so quick to respond to any questions we had, and VERY QUICK to get our photos back to us. I did a boudoir session, and got the pictures within a day or two. We got our wedding photos back in about a week!

We did pay extra to get a second photographer, and we are so happy we did! We had SO MANY beautiful pictures to sort through it was unbelievable!

We absolutely cannot say enough good things about our experience! We would recommend them to anyone!

Mike did a fantastic job with my wedding. Make sure plans and itinerary are detailed, it helps everyone out, lessens your stress levels, and helps your vendors so so so much. If Mike was uncertain about something, he asked, which was very helpful- because sometimes I wasn't sure and it helped even more with planning!! Thank you so much, Mike!!

Karen & Mike are fabulous! Our engagement photos rocked, I did a boudoir shoot as well and my fiance loved it! Our wedding day was glamorous and Mike & Karen spent upwards of 10 hours capturing our special day, we cannot say enough wonderful things about them! Book them for your special day, you will be happy you did!

I contacted Mike, the photographer, a few days before I had planned to propose. With hardly any notice he agreed to travel over and hour and wait 4 hours at the site just to secretly capture the moment I dropped down to a knee. He went above and beyond my expectations and captured everything perfectly. The quality of of the pictures is absolutely amazing. We will be contacting these guys for our wedding for sure! Thank you all so much! Highly recommend everyone to use them :)

Just WOW. Mike and Karen from Unique Moments are the best. They are with you for the entire day and really get all of those special pictures you want on your wedding day. They are so fun and easy to work with and they definitely know their stuff! They also got our pictures back to us less then a week after our wedding! If your looking for a fun photographer who makes your wedding pictures absolutely flawless, these are your people!

We had a wonderful experience with Mike. He captured our wedding day with over 1200 images that we will cherish forever and every singe image tells a story of our day that we will be able to relive over and over with family and friends. Mike went above and beyond to get the photos that we hoped for and made all of us feel so comfortable that by the end of the day he felt like a part of the family. The very next day we got a sneek peek at some photos through Facebook and in less than a week we had all of our photos mailed to us on a zip drive that we can use any way we choose! Mike is not only a skilled professional but a stand up guy that we will use for years to come to capture all of those special moments!

Just do it! We got married a year ago, and I am still amazed at the pictures and just how awesome these guys were. Mike was so helpful in the planning and they really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything and anything we could want. And, on one of the most emotional and potentially stressful days, they helped us plan things out so we wouldn't be rushed, and made sure things were running smoothly so we were focused solely on enjoying our day and each other. They had great suggestions and ideas, and were really good about capturing the best moments, planned and candid (they seemed to be everywhere). We got well over 1000 pictures back and they were all fantastic! We had the hardest time cutting down past 200 when it came time to choose for our album. I don't ever write reviews (this might be the second ever, if not the first) but I honestly don't think I can overstate how wonderful these guys were and how much they contributed to making our wedding the beautiful memory that it is. Seriously, if there is one thing that you want for your wedding, it's a good photographer, because having beautiful memories captured will be so important to you down the road. And the Unique Moments team is the best! They will not disappoint you.

Greetings Mike/Karen:

Allow us to express our thanks for your professional demeanor and expertise in photographing our daughter’s wedding.

We saw that professionalism at all of our meetings, the pre-shoots, the rehearsal, the wedding day and the quick turnaround of nearly 1400 quality images. I estimate you shot 16 hours combined on the day itself.

Clearly you have done this before and know the flow of the events and of the day. Pre-scouting the many locations, blocking shots/checking lighting beforehand all paid off. The wedding party was relaxed wherever and however you placed them, confident in your direction.

Throughout the day only in peripheral vision were the two of you ever seen.

Of particular note these thanks:

Your respect and reverence when shooting during the service.

Our knowledge that your camera’s configurations and the team setup provided double-coverage in protecting the captured images. In effect an on-going backup.

All images are good and many are fabulous.

Mike and Karen are such a great team! Together they work to tell your entire wedding day story, capturing all the little details to the whole crowd! They ask what photos you really just have to have, (I recommend saving a Pinterest board to email or show them, that's what I did!) as well as capturing photos you wouldn't have thought of! They both go above and beyond, showing just how passionate they are about what they are doing. I highly recommend Unique Moments Photography!

Unique Moments Photographers a.k.a Mike, Karen, & Amber!!!
Where to start on this feedback. Sometimes, people say "You have to see it to believe it!". With your amazing work, it's the truth. Only way to know is to go through the experience with all of you.
Mike was an unbelievable photographer. From the moment we met at the Wedding Expo to our gorgeous engagement shoot. He made us feel relaxed and natural, it was like a friend just catching up with life (lol). He was very clear in all his correspondence before the wedding and arrived on time. Tau (my husband) and I chose not to have "First Look" shots which made it a bit difficult with timing. Mike came through with a timeline and it ran smoothly for our wedding. Riding from the Hotel, to the Park, to the Chapel. Mike effortlessly made sure we arrived for our ceremony on time. Both Mike & Amber were careful about giving us space without missing any important moment. The party shots are my favorite and have been shared a huge amount on Facebook! Such gorgeous light and energy. Thanks again for providing a first class service. With one of the biggest days of our lives and such a huge action packed event, we feared that we would not be able to stop and take it all in cause the day would soon fade from our memories. However you both truly captured the essence of our day providing us with so many wonderful images.

If you're looking for professional, fun, caring and all around amazing photographers for your big day, look no further! Mike and Karen are simply the best!!!!!! Not only are they just amazing people, but they truly made us feel comfortable and they made sure we had fun. Karen is just the sweetest and was so attentive to my dress/hair/veil etc. to make sure everything looked great in every photo. Karen and Mike have a special eye for not only the "regular" family photo's but the fun photo's and unique photo's. We simply are just amazed at how our photo's turned out! If you want enthusiasm and true attention to detail, book this photographer. Mike has the eye for the picture you want, even if you feel silly doing the poses, the end result is INCREDIBLE. Dorothy added the humor, the spice and livened up the endless pictures. We got complete quality results and perfect pictures with an amazing duo. I could not be happier. Here's the kicker, though, we had our entire wedding photo library (1500 pictures) on a flashdrive in less than a week and pics posted and edited to my facebook so my family could see within 1 day. It was the fastest turn around in wedding photography I've ever encountered. I cannot rave enough about the perfection of the pics and the professionalism of the pair.

We met with a few different photographers when we were planning our wedding. When we had a meeting with Unique Moments, Mike and Karen, we both walked away from the meeting feeling confident and asking them for a contract. You can hear, see, and feel the passion they have for photography and it shows in the pictures that we recieved back. The engagement session had us a bit nervous, but by the time we were ending the session we had so much fun, we didn't want it to end. The day of the wedding Mike and his assistant was amazing. They blended so well, we forgot they were there sometimes. We had our engagement pictures and wedding pictures to us in less than one week!!! Overall, we gave Unique Moments a 5.0/5.0 and they truly deserved it!

Mike, Karen, and Dorothy are absolutely amazing photographers! When my mom and I met them at a wedding show we could tell immediately that they are warm, fun people who love what they do. What sealed the deal for us was their pricing: two photographers all day for one flat price, and an engagement shoot included! For such a good price, we were initially a little worried they wouldn't be as cutting-edge and creative as some of the expensive, fresh-out-of-school photographers claim to be, but boy were we wrong. They were so creative, fun, professional, experienced, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We ended up with a perfect mix of posed, candid, and original shots, and they even knew exactly how to recreate my Pinterest favorites. Mike was with me all day. From "getting ready" pictures in the morning to sunset and dancing photos, he was my trusted sidekick. He knew exactly how to get the most flattering angles, brought out the joy and excitement in my friends and family, and coached us so well through various poses. I was overjoyed to see how excited he was to work with our horses too! And I haven't even mentioned the engagement shoot. Mike went above and beyond, pre-touring our desired location well in advance to scope out the best spots for various photos. He was also very flexible and accommodating when we brought props to play with! Once everything was said and done, he uploaded "sneak previews" to Facebook right away for everyone to enjoy. We received so many compliments from friends, family and co-workers saying how much they loved our pictures. Even our photographer friends raved about how great a job Mike and Dorothy did! I could go on and on. As with all weddings, there were mishaps at ours, but I can honestly and whole-heartedly say that our experience with UM Photography was flawless and I wouldn't change a single thing about our time with them. Thank you, Mike, Karen and Dorothy, for an amazing experience and photos we'll cherish forever!!

Mike and Karen of Unique Moments Photography have a down-to-earth approach to wedding photography and an easy, natural presence as they document and record the big day. Some wedding photographers focus on the tiny details and seem to miss that most important element—the people. If you are looking for photographers that will pay attention to the details, but really excel at taking flattering pictures of people (even in challenging lighting situations) you will be very happy with UMP. They have a knack for making everyone look good--wedding party and guests alike! Something UMP did that I’d never experienced in all of the weddings I’ve attended—they made it known that any of the guests desiring a professional photo only need ask. As a result, my husband and I now have a lot of lovely, well-lit, well-composed photos of our friends and family (instead of a bunch of iffy cell phone snaps).
There are a lot of wedding photographers that over-process and rely on Photoshop to make their images look nice. Mike and Karen take classic, quality photos that look good to start with, and then have the added ability to process them and make your favorites really pop.

Mike & Karen were fabulous to work with. They took our photos for our engagement as well as for our wedding at Chapel in Echo Bay. We have over 2,000 pictures from both. They stayed with us for the entire day and our photos tell our story from start to finish. We love the pictures and most importantly we loved working with Mike & Karen. They are truly great people. We stayed in touch throughout the process and they made sure that we took all the photos that I really wanted to get. They helped to coordinate the timeline and family to ensure that we had taken all the photos! We have beautiful memories that we will have forever! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. UM photography was simply AMAZING. We met them at the Everett Wedding Expo in 2015. Mike and his wife, Karen, were so nice. We decided after researching many photographers and comparing their photos, UM was who we were going to trust for our big day! From the engagement shoot to the wedding and everywhere in between, they were so professional and sincere. They've done more for us than any professional photographer would ever do. We would work with them again in a heart beat, and absolutely recommend them 100%!

Mike of Unique Moments Photography was absolutely amazing!!!!! I knew the first time I talked about the wedding with him that he would be the best photographer. He is so passionate about photographing weddings and it really shows in his pictures. The photos taken at our wedding were STUNNING!!! Mike captured every unique and special moment of the wedding. He took all the traditional shots along with unique and wonderfully creative ones too. He worked wonderfully with the venue layout, surrounding landmarks and the weather. We had rain and he incorporated it into stunning results. He is so positive and motivated. He keeps everyone laughing and comfortable. He got along great with the wedding party, guests and event staff. Also, Mike was so fast about the turn around with the pictures. We got them 2 days after the wedding. Wow!!!! So great!!! I will absolutely hire him again for any future events.

Working with Michael was such a joy. He did such an amazing job capturing all of our special moments at our wedding. From engagement pictures to the wedding day, he made it all about us and what we wanted. He edited and got us our proofs back right away and everyone was so pleased with how they turned out. Michael made everyone feel so comfortable throughout everything and we feel so grateful to have found him to shoot such a huge life moment. These were the sweetest most caring photographers that I've ever worked with in my life! Everyone at the wedding fell in love with them and asked about them! Mike and Karen were so awesome! Both my now Husband and I are pretty awkward in front of the camera but they made it so much fun! Mike knows exactly what he is doing and his passion for photography shows through his work! They caught some truly beautiful moments from my day that mean so much to me! Photos are my life and the number one thing I was looking for in my wedding photographer was that they would capture the emotion from our day and I wanted to be able to relive those emotions when I looked at my photos. That it exactly what I got! I'm so thankful!!

Mike and his assistant was incredible! It started with our engagement photos that turned out awesome!!! He calmed us down and guided us through with poses that turned out beautiful pictures. We didn't feel we were photogenic at all but Mike proved us wrong. Then he showed up early at the wedding and actually helped me with some stuff around the house that had nothing to do with his job. LOL His assistant(I am sorry I can not remember her name) was right there as well helping me with things that had nothing to do with photography. Their way of thinking is if you are calm then things will go much easier and if they have to do something that isn't photography to calm you then they do it. Our wedding pictures are way above incredible if that is possible! I can't say enough about Unique Moments and their business ethics. They are a #1 company in the wedding photography business. If anyone wants to talk to me and see my pictures please call me and I will tell you these guys are the photography company to go with.

Mike and Karen are a great husband and wife team that make taking pictures so enjoyable. From our first meeting with them to our wedding day we felt so supported by them. Mike was willing to take fun pictures and listen to my ideas and visions. He did a great job on all of our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. We have so many to choose from it is going to be hard to narrow them down for the book that he makes us. They are very personable and enjoy your feedback. Mike & Karen are such wonderful people to work with. They have very reasonable pricing! If you have any ideas for your own poses they are totally up for trying them during your photo sessions, as they also have wonderful poses of their own. Mike with Unique Moments Photography was wonderful, he made me and my husband feel comfortable from the first time we met him to the end of the night. Mike was so helpful when it came to taking photos that we wanted and was willing to try anything! Everyone in our wedding party was floored by how wonderful Mike and his assistant are! My father in law is still raving about how great he was and that he was so glad we spent the money on getting a great photographer (as am I)! Mike is great at getting back to you in a quickly and got our photos back to us very fast! I would recommend them to everyone! Thank you Mike for making our day so memorable.

Unique Moments Photography did a superb job and delivered as promised. For each major wedding service (photographer, dj, etc) we met with at least 2 or 3 different vendors to do our due diligence as a website or brochure can only share so much. Mike was very professional, friendly, accommodating and responsive throughout the process from our initial meeting to our engagement pictures, wedding day and afterwards. Mike met with us a few weeks prior to our wedding day to scout the church, reception venue as well as a couple other scenic areas for pictures. His time and insight was greatly appreciated and helped put us at ease so there were no surprises on our wedding day. As our venues were nearly an hour drive for him he did this at no additional charge.
While we were initially disappointed that Karen wasn't able to be our second photographer as originally planned, Mike brought with him a very capable replacement in Kara. Both Mike and Kara worked with us to get the shots we wanted with the wedding party including some family shots and some fun pictures we talked about previously at the reception. We even took a few pictures outside in the single digit weather that we really wanted! Mike and Kara were with us from early in the morning at the salon to late into the evening at the reception. If we could go back and do it all over again, we wish we could have taken a few more shots that we discussed originally, but we simply ran out of time, and no fault of Mike or Kara. Family and friends as well as Mike told us how the day would fly by and it did. We are so pleased and thankful for all the wonderful pictures to look back on and we can’t wait to see our wedding album keepsake! Last but not least, Mike mailed us a dvd of our photos less than a week from our wedding! Thanks, Gary and Chelsie

Unique Moments Photography exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Mike and Karen went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in every situation. They felt like part of the family through the whole process, which created a very relaxed atmosphere. Not only that, they also went out of their way to get to know you on a personal level, and to connect with you.

They provided extremely fast service after the wedding in getting us our photos. Speaking of the photos, we've had numerous friends and family say they are some of the best wedding photos they have ever seen. That is a true testament to the ability Unique Moments Photography brings to the table. I cannot recommend them enough. Choosing your wedding photographer can be a very stressful thing, and I can assure you choosing Unique Moments Photography is one of the best decisions you could make!

Mike and Karen are a fantastic team. They made our day that much more special and stress free. They were very professional and a lot of fun. From our first contact we felt this photographer would be a good fit for us. We got all of our questions answered promptly and all the details are written clearly before making any decisions.
Mike and Karen were so flexible, they were able to do our engagement photos with only a weeks notice because of our out of town schedules. At our engagement photos; he was able to get us used to the camera and got the groom to smile in the first shot.
On our wedding day, they were great to work with, we were completely at ease and they made us feel like we were the only people who mattered. We are not used to photographs and such, and we were relaxed and comfortable with Mike and Karen immediately.

Unique Moments exceeded our expectations. You have two photographers- Mike and Karen (husband and wife that work very well together) for UNLIMITED hours! They were very accommodating. Mike and Karen came to our venue during the day of our food tasting to simply map out where the best places to take pictures would be on our special day at no extra charge.

They did a great job of capturing those candid moments as well as getting the posed pictures we found on pinterest that we wanted to do.

Mike and Karen took over 1600 pictures and we have the rights to all of them. They will print pictures for us 'at cost' to ensure the pictures are printed in high quality. They had the pictures on a CD sent to our home within a matter of days and also included copies for our parents.

Another great perk was the wedding video they put together and posted on our wall less than a week after the wedding. We received so many compliments on it that people thought it was our videographer that assembled it.

We could not have been more pleased with the results. Mike and Karen are great people and I am so happy we got the opportunity to work with them!

Unique Moments Photographer took our engagement pictures for us and will be doing our wedding photos as well in June of 2014! The photographer did an amazing job and was extremely fun to work with. He took any anxiety of taking photos we may have had and was opened to any ideas we had. Amazing job. I have seen some of the photos already and I am pleased with those. So many different options for poses and all. Having 2 photographers helped out greatly. The cameras were always shooting and so the odds of missing any shots are slim. I would definitely go with them again.

Mike and Karen were over-the-top wonderful. From our initial meeting to discuss what they have to offer and what our needs were, to receiving the first proofs of our wedding photos, they have been thorough, professional, timely and have provided wonderful photos of our story and journey. Mike and Karen know what they're doing professionally, which results in great pictures. The better part of their professionalism is their own realness, the way in which they engage with their subjects (us)... they put their hearts into the process which nails the results. I"m thrilled with the outcome, so happy with our photos.

Karen and Mike were wonderful photographers! They were efficient in getting family photos done, but took the time to make sure everyone was properly spaced, had open eyes and great smiles, and that the lighting was perfect. They captured the intimate moments, the classic shots, fun shots, and great candids! They got some great ones of our groomsmen with shotguns and then the city police coming and patting them down! They also took photos of us driving to our reception venue.... Karen literally was hanging out of her car window (don't worry, her husband was driving) to get a shot of us driving our mustang down the highway! Originally, we weren't going to make this investment in our photos, but every penny was worth it and I couldn't imagine not having a second photographer at our wedding; we would have missed out on so many great additional shots had we not gone with them. I highly recommend their friendly, talented, and professional photography to anyone!

Mike is such a professional and such a gentleman. From the moment I walked in the door, he was friendly and courteous. I felt extremely comfortable with him, which is so important considering I was undressing in front of him. He constantly talked me up and told me how amazing the shots were and how beautiful I looked, but only in a way to boost my confidence and keep me smiling. The shots turned out so much better than I expected!! And the book I purchased is such high quality. It's so beautiful and I look so beautiful in it! LOVE them!!! They did such an amazing job at capturing our special day! We had a hiccup with one of our bridesmaids which pushed our timeline back an hour and they really went with the flow. As a couple they are seriously hilarious and really compliment each other well. Together they really made our special day even more special. I would highly recommend Unique Moments to ANYONE who is in search of excellent customer service and great experience. We had so much fun! Thank you Unique moments!!

Mike and Karen were a joy to work with. They really wanted to make sure we got the shots we wanted while also making sure we looked our best in every photo. They were very very easy to get in contact with, and were constantly checking in with us before the wedding, just to make sure we were comfortable with everything. They were willing to work with us and be very flexible- Karen even came to my parent's home the morning of the wedding to take photos of the bridesmaids. We had a very good experience with them, and we wouldn't change anything!

Unique Moments is a very great wedding photographer. I highly recommend them to anyone. All our pictures our wonderful and turn out perfect.

My husband and I HATE being in pictures and are not very photogenic but UM photography did an awesome job making us look like we were born to be in pictures. From the moment I saw our engagement photos I knew our wedding photos were going to be phenomenal and from just the little I have seen of them so far they are! I cannot wait to see the rest! We will definitely be using UM photography for our future photography needs! Awesome people to work with!

We met with a few different photographers once we started to plan our wedding. When we met with Mike and Karen both my husband and I felt Unique Moments would be the perfect fit for us. We had them do out engagement shoot as well and they did an amazing job with accommodating our wants and needs. We did find out a few month after booking that they would be relocating to WA. They let us know that Mike would be still be photographing their 2014 weddings in MN, so we were put at ease knowing that. Mike kept in touch with us in the months leading up to our big day, which was great. As all you brides know the last couple month prior to the wedding can be a little hectic making sure everything is on track. The day of our wedding Mike showed up at the salon at 9 am and stayed into the dance. It was such a relief knowing that we had a photographer for the full day and did not have to stress about what time it was and if we were going to go over our limit and be charged extra. I do wish we had allowed more time for our wedding party pictures, I felt like we did not get the poses we wanted due to being crunched on time. We were also going to take pictures at sun set but that did not happen. Overall we felt that Mike did a wonderful job taking the pictures and got some beautiful shots. We would definitely recommend Unique Moments to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer.

Mike did a great job. Would have liked the pictures edited a little more, cool effects, etc.

I've never been married before, and I have quite a Type A personality. I had a list of photos I knew I wanted. I would suggest making sure you account for the correct amount of time for your photos. There definitely wasn't enough time allotted in my game plan. Mike and Karen are a joy to work with though. Definitely a reasonable price.
