    Soooo happy I found Unique Melody!

    The best -- could not have imagined our wedding without Unique Melody! Yvonne, the owner, was response and professional and within budget. Our assigned planner, Steph, was my "weekend of" coordinator for our wedding in West Dover, VT in August 2025. She is the best! She kept us running on time, managed every little detail, remembered things we didn't, and even danced a line dance with us! Our day was beautiful and relatively stress free. (I'd been married once before years ago with no planner and several things went awry back then - so I know the difference a good planner makes.) Our day was truly amazing! Our venue even told us she's the best planner they'd seen. Steph is the best, and has a lovely personality and sense of humor to boot. Steph's assistant Katrina was awesome, and even helped dress our dog, who was part of the wedding. You can't go wrong with Unique Melody! We are so grateful for them!

    A Dream Team for Our Wedding Day

    Yvonne and her assistant, Catherine, were an essential part of our wedding planning/day. When vendors weren’t responding to us, Yvonne was on the case and resolved issues quickly and efficiently. When there were hiccups with a vendor on the day of, Yvonne acted urgently without adding any additional stress to the day. We highly recommend the services of Unique Melody!

    If you need anything month-of planner, choose Unique Melody

    Everyone has asked after our wedding if getting a planner so close to the wedding was worth it. The answer is absolutely yes.

    Tami took over all duties and was able to do many tasks that needed doing, including fielding many questions and concerns, that she simplified many things before the wedding. (Which considering how work ramped up for the bride and groom before the wedding - that was great!). She also learned the particulars of a Jewish style wedding and handle the vendors with ease.

    The day of, she and her assistant were on it. They flexibly dealt with the weather, hiccups, and the bride and groom running on autopilot.

    If you need someone to take the stress out of the last month or two before the wedding and the day of, we highly.recommend Unique Melody.

    The best decision you can make for your weddding!

    Working with Unique Melody Events was the best decision that my husband and I made for our wedding. It’s difficult to know where to start in expressing my awe of and gratitude for their work; maybe the highest praise I can give is that I don’t actually know how they could have possibly created the most beautiful wedding in the world. Yvonne was meticulous yet relaxed; detail-oriented while always remembering the larger vision and budget. Yvonne and her team were focused on not only planning a seamlessly wonderful wedding, but planning a wedding that told the unique story of our personalities, families, and love. Not only did Yvonne and her team execute an incredible event, they ensured that every minute of it was a stress-free and truly memorable experience for both my husband and I, our families, and our guests. Many of our guests have told us that our wedding was a unique and perfect reflection of my husband and to us, that is the best compliment we could receive—and we owe all of it to Unique Melody Events.

    Absolutely a pleasure and the price is right

    Yvonne and the team at Unique Melody were incredible! If you’re on the fence, absolutely book with them, especially if you’re getting married somewhere that doesn’t “include” a day of coordinator. We used the wedding coordination service and it was perfect, exactly what we needed.

    We met with and exchanged emails with Yvonne in the final stretch. Yvonne walked us through the last details and coordination of the day as we got closer. She was also responsive and had suggestions when I reached out occasionally during our planning process. Yvonne met us for the rehearsal the day before, made a point to meet and chat with everyone in our party and family, and was extremely easy and pleasant to talk to.

    On the day of, I’m not exaggerating, we didn’t have to think about a single thing. We handed off all of our decor/signs the day before and Yvonne handled the setup. It turned out better than I had expected and we were so grateful.

    The price for wedding coordination was well worth it. UME also offered a handful of rentals, things like table numbers, Polaroid camera, etc that you don’t want to buy just for a wedding. The rentals through UME were absolutely worth the small cost and allowed us to focus on more important details and be somewhat sustainable.

    Yvonne is the best!!!!

    Yvonne and her team are the best out there! We had Yvonne as our month of planner for our October 2023 wedding and it made our wedding day seamless. She attended planning meetings with us and knew all the right questions to ask. She also helped me figure out our centerpieces which took a huge amount of stress off of me as the bride. When we entered the venue our vision had come to life. With very little direction, she knows exactly how to make your day, YOUR day. Highly recommend 10/10.

    Highly recommend!

    We cannot recommend Unique Melody enough!! I really wanted to enjoy our day and was also a little nervous about passing off all my months of planning, but the second I met Steph I knew we were in good hands (Yvonne ran our rehearsal and Steph ran our event). Not only was having a coordinator on the day absolutely invaluable, but it was tremendously nice in the weeks before our wedding to know we had minimal work left to do because UME was on everything. We think spending money on a day-of coordinator was the best money we spent on our wedding because it allowed us to focus fully on all the other things we spent money on: we ate all the food, danced to all the music, and really got to live in the moment. Months away from our wedding, we are still basking in the glow, in large part because of all the hard work UME did on our behalf.

    Great Experience with Unique Melody!

    My wife and I got married in Goffstown, NH on 9/2/23 and used Unique Melody Events for day-of-coordinator services for our wedding. The experience with Unique Melody Events prior to our wedding was great. We took our initial call with Yvonne and clicked really well with her. Once we chose to work with Unique Melody, Lindsey was assigned as our day-of-coordinator. Lindsey was super helpful as a resource in the 2-3 months before our wedding, helping us think through the final stages of vendor selection for certain vendors and finalizing details with all of our vendors, as well as building out the flow of our ceremony and reception. On the day of our wedding, Lindsey was amazing. Lindsey coordinated directly with the venue and the vendors so we didn’t have to think about any of that stuff. At the end of the night, Lindsey packed up my car with all of the décor, cards, gifts, etc. so I could come back the next morning to get everything. Everything went so smoothly on our wedding day and Lindsey was an important part of that success. I would definitely recommend Unique Melody to other couples considering them for day-of-coordination services!

    Amazing! Such a professional!

    Yvonne is a true professional and a delight to work with. I recommend her services completely. From the moment my fiancé and I partnered with Yvonne, we knew we were in good hands. She always one step ahead of us in planning, was forever organized for our calls, and made us feel supported throughout the process.     Perfect to a Tee!

    Stephanie was perfect in every way. I was doubting even needing a day of coordinator and I honestly can say we would not have had as special of a day without her.

    Stephanie and Brianna always had the answer and kept everything moving slowly. I was impressed how they made sure everything was taken care of, but stayed in the background through each part of the ceremony then reception. She always had GREAT patience with changes and groomsmen.

    Professional, connected us with a wonderful day-of coordinator

    Unique Melody works with a team of wedding coordinators, and after an intro call with them we were put into the capable hands of Steph. I can recommend Unique Melody for their competitive price, professionalism, and (in our experience) excellent coordinators.

    Steph, the coordinator that we were matched with, did a fantastic job on our wedding. She brought positive energy, proactivity, experience, and caring throughout the whole process, and especially on our wedding day.

    Incredible, seamless experience

    Yvonne & the UME team were excellent! We hired them to be day-of coordinators after discontinuing services with another planner and Yvonne immediately understood and made us feel confident about her ability to manage the event. We had 230+ guests and somehow the day flowed smoothly and ON TIME! We had Yvonne and Stephanie working as our coordinators on the day of the wedding and somehow the two of them were able to be everywhere at once. We took pictures we wanted, eat something, have some alone time as a couple before the reception and still made it to the cocktail hour to enjoy that with our family and friends. The logistical execution was absolutely incredible. All of our vendors were in the loop, there was a continuous flow of events, speeches, cake cutting, etc and the end result was that all of our guests had an incredible time and still can't stop talking about how seamless it was. I'm in awe of UME and cannot recommend them enough!

    Yvonne and Emily were absolutely incredible. Yvonne helped me every step of the way leading up to the wedding.     Couldn't Have Done it Without Them!

    We worked with Kelly and Briana as our Wedding Coordinators for our weekend camp wedding! They were amazing - Kelly was our main point of contact for the weekend and she was on top of EVERYTHING!     Reason I had Fun on my Wedding Day - No Stress!

    I wish I had reached out to Olivia and Yvonne earlier. I was becoming increasingly stressed about everything I had to do and worried about the day of coordination so I knew I needed help. Although I had the majority of my vendors booked by the time UME came on board, I was instantly relieved by how experienced and professional everyone was. Yvonne talked us through some things we hadn't previously thought of and we got to know Olivia about a month or two before our wedding. Olivia and her team were so helpful leading up to the wedding and helping us iron out final details but they really shined on the day of. They were completely unphased by anything happening, kept us on schedule, communicated clearly with us (the bride and groom) and our families. I had been so worried leading up to the wedding and ended up having the best day really thanks to Olivia, her team and UME.

    Yvonne is amazing!!!

    From our first call with Yvonne, we really appreciated her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and experience. We knew right away that we had made a great decision to work with her, but we had no idea how much of a positive impact she would have on what turned out to be the best day of our lives.

    So many people told us that their wedding day was so stressful, or that they didn’t even get a chance to eat, but thanks to Yvonne, we got to actually enjoy everything about the big day. Yvonne made sure everything was going smoothly without us having to worry about anything - and better yet, she even made sure we each had a plate from the buffet waiting for us at our seats while we socialized with our guests.

    Between the planning process leading up to the wedding and especially her day-of coordination, we couldn’t recommend Yvonne highly enough. If you’re still debating if you should work with her, go do it before your date gets booked up by someone else!

    Fantastic - could not recommend more highly!

    Working with Yvonne and Kelly from UME was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! Yvonne was our lead day-of coordinator and was phenomenal. From a site visit beforehand, to a few prep calls, to taking care of absolutely everything the day of the wedding and staying on top of all details - things could not have been smoother. Yvonne was a breeze to communicate with and was always so responsive and helpful. The services were so fantastic for the price, and you could tell that she not only knew exactly what she was doing, but really cared about our big day and making sure everything went the way we imagined it. If you are on the fence about hiring UME, DO IT!

    Yvonne was seriously amazing! There is no way I could have had such a beautiful wedding without her help. I have already recommended her to two of my closest friends who are getting married next year. She is extremely talented.     Organized, insightful, and a breath of fresh air!

    Yvonne and her team went above and beyond to help us organize an unconventional yet classy wedding. The two of us (bride and groom) had very different ideas of what we wanted our wedding to look like, and Yvonne did a fantastic job of helping us design and execute an effective compromise. Although she has an invaluable collection of vetted and trusted vendors, she was also willing to work with friends and up-and-coming professionals. Throughout the process, she was reliably open-minded, creative, and responsive. In the final stretch, we had to deal with several medium to large disasters (vendor cancelled day of, COVID exposures in the wedding party, unanticipated guest), but Yvonne worked nimbly to find affordable, practical solutions with minimal stress. The other members of her team are equally friendly, effective, and calming. We can't recommend Unique Melody Events enough!

    Amazing Destination Wedding!

    Unique Melody Events made our destination wedding truly special, and we would highly recommend their services to anyone who is planning their wedding! They truly took all the stress out of our planning and allowed us to enjoy our day with friends and family.

    We had less than 5 months to plan a destination wedding for 130 people during COVID. Although we had a vision of what we wanted, we didn’t have a venue secured. During our first meeting, we shared our vision with Yvonne and she helped us with all aspects of the planning: budgeting, invitations, scouting and securing venue, hotel room blocks, food & beverage, as well as negotiating with all vendors (florists, photographers, musicians, officiant, cake, hair, and makeup). She also spearheaded the design elements of the wedding and transformed the venue into a magical space for our evening reception.

    On the day of the wedding, Yvonne and Steph were highly focused on executing a flawless wedding and were extremely detail-oriented, allowing us to just sit back, relax and enjoy ourselves. They quickly pivoted the schedule several times to include several cultural elements that were important to us, and we cannot have been happier with how the day went!

    We would highly recommend them with no reservations whatsoever. They are a pleasure to work with, and will pull together an amazing event for you!

    Best day of coordinator!

    Thank you to Yvonne for being our awesome day-of coordinator and to her assistant Cartier! Yvonne’s experience and expertise shows in her thoughtful consideration for aspects of the wedding day we did not even think of. Her attention to detail helped carry out our vision - with everything from the seating chart table to the sweetheart table, everything was as we had envisioned!

    You simply can't go wrong when you pick Yvonne!

    The first time I spoke to Yvonne was over the phone in late 2020. After just a few minutes into the call, I knew I needn’t look farther; Yvonne was our wedding planner. Instantly, it was obvious to me that Yvonne was (is) creative, hardworking, and confident she would plan the wedding my husband and I wanted – one that compromised with our parents’ wants and wishes too, of course. And that’s what she did; she and her team at Unique Melody Events and Designed nailed it.
    Despite the short turn-around time we gave, the uncertainty of then-future Covid-19 regulations for in-person gatherings, and the unprecedented uptick in weddings postponed from the height of the pandemic, our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Yvonne’s exceptional organization, knowledge of the industry, and knowing the most reliable vendors for each aspect that constitutes a successful wedding. Never was there a doubt in our minds that anything would go wrong but, of course, something always goes wrong at weddings, right? Unbeknownst to the bride and groom, the electricity source (a fickle plug originating from the 3rd story window of a 150+ year old Victorian) failed and, apparently, the police made an appearance at some point. But of course, Yvonne was ready with already-approved permits in-hand necessary for an event at a private residence and was quick to get the electricity back on. It was only in the days and weeks after that we heard what had “gone wrong.”
    Furthermore, and since our wedding was not held at a formal venue, we appreciated Yvonne’s dedication to traveling on several occasions to our venue vis-à-vis the bride’s childhood home for walkthroughs of the back garden as well as making sure we were all in agreement for the various details. I would be remiss if I didn’t commend Yvonne for her professionalism and willingness to step in when family tension arose as well.
    Forgive the cliché, but our wedding really and truly was the best and most beautiful day – the décor, the vibe, the flow of it all, and everything else was exactly – and I mean exactly – what we hoped we had described over several Zoom calls and countless emails. Our only complaint was that it went by way too quickly! Just as everyone says it will.
    Needless to say, I don’t know how she did/does it, but Yvonne exceeded our expectations and took care of everything with the utmost competence. We highly recommend her and will always advocate that a wedding planner is 110% worth it and, more so, that you simply cannot go wrong when you pick Yvonne!

    Absolute perfection

    Yvonne was one of my guiding lights on our wedding day! We hired Yvonne as a Day-of Coordinator for our wedding, and from the beginning, I knew I could trust her. She’s warm, knowledgeable, and down to earth, which is exactly what we needed. When I started panicking a few months out thinking I’d have to change plans due to the pandemic, she was kind enough to talk it out with me and helped me lay out a game plan, taking away a lot of stress. Luckily, we were able to keep all of our original plans. Yvonne jumped right in about a month or so out, ensuring me that everything was taken care of. On the wedding day, I felt so relaxed because I knew that Yvonne and her assistant were handling everything from setting up the decor, coordinating with other vendors, and making sure the timeline was running smoothly. She was absolutely committed to me and my husband, and I knew that if we needed anything she’d be right there ready to help. She made our vision come to life, and everything went so smoothly, thanks to her. We’re so incredibly grateful to her, and can’t recommend her highly enough!!

    Drowning in spreadsheets? Hire UME.

    I was a bride suddenly DIY'ing due to the pandemic, and my fiance and I needed someone we could trust to run the show and make sure nothing feel through the cracks. I didn't really know what a day-of coordinator was but my friend recommended I find one about 2 months out from our wedding after several weeks of daily complaints about planning a wedding after COVID cancelled our original plans. I found Yvonne via Google and hired her basically the same day- she was that impressive and I had total confidence in her from the first time we talked. I went from crying daily from wedding planning stress to being so relieved that Yvonne had my back. This was the best investment I made for our wedding and our engagement, and hiring her was the key to savoring the last part of our engagement. Planning a wedding = hard, planning in a pandemic = harder. One thing I loved about Yvonne is that she handles stuff under the radar and doesn't involve you unless completely necessary. She made our vision for a small wedding come to life. The day of, she ran the show, dealt with our families, and it was amazing to have her as an ally- she was totally committed to me and my fiance getting what we wanted from the day. We are so grateful and I can't say enough good things!

    Wedding planning/Day of coordinator

    I found Yvonne's blog online after researching local vendors. Her aesthetic style is pleasing to the eye and her organizational skills were obvious. Having met her at the later stage of my wedding planning, I did not require her planning skills. Yet she was open to any questions I had about ideas/suggestions for the wedding. Yvonne also helped me decorate my sweetheart table and was flexible as we had to change it from indoor wedding to outdoor wedding due to covid. The last month of the wedding, she asked for all the information and then only contacted me if necessary. One of the vendors gave her some trouble but she handled it well. She pitched in when necessary and I could not have asked for a better person for the job. She and her assistant lindsay paid close attention to detail as they set up the reception space. She also boxed everything up at the end of the day and I did not having anything to worry about. I would recommend Yvonne to any of my friends and family.

    Flawlessly Executed by Yvonne!

    I wish I could give Yvonne and her staff 100 stars. From the beginning Yvonne was welcoming and warm at our first meeting, it was like we've known her for a while. I was hesitant to hire a event planner but boy am I glad that I did it was worth every penny. Yvonne is truly amazing at what she does! She pulled off my dream wedding in about 4 weeks (Not to mention it was in my parents backyard talk about working from scratch). During this unsettling time it was truly amazing to have someone who was so invested in making sure I had the wedding of my dream I truly would of been lost without Yvonne and her assistant.     Excellent Wedding Planner!

    Yvonne and the Unique Melody team helped us plan our dream wedding. From the beginning of our process through wedding day details, Yvonne made it easy have the wedding we wanted. Everyone had told us how stressful planning a wedding could be, but she made the process fun!

    The ceremony we envisioned required extra coordination and creativity, and she turned all of
    our ideas into more than we could have imagined. She did an exceptional amount of behind the scenes work with all of our vendors – from the lighting to the band to the caterers – without us having to worry about all the logistical details. On the day of, she made sure everything went smoothly and that we were calm and stress free (or at least as stress free as can be). As a bonus, all of her vendor recommendations were locally owned and operated.

    Wow I love Yvonne!

    I was having trouble finding a wedding coordinator who I connected with. There are so many stuffy ones and I needed someone who was normal and just got it. My photographer recommended Yvonne and I knew instantly she was perfect! She was always calm, organized, and 10 steps ahead of the game. I was able to totally relax and enjoy the wedding because I knew everything would look exactly how we wanted and that everything was taken care of. She also handled installing all our lighting and it was fabulous! Yvonne and her team are the best!

    Yvonne was amazing!!!

    We hired Yvonne as our day-of coordinator for our wedding this past August. Truly the best decision we made in the whole wedding process! Yvonne was so on-top of everything, flexible, go with the flow, and super efficient. She made the day run so smoothly so we could just enjoy our wedding! Our wedding was at a camp with limited infrastructure in place for the event (very DIY). She was the glue that held it all together, and we can't recommend her enough.     Yvonne is literally AMAZING!!

    Yvonne made our wedding dreams a reality. From the day we met her, her warm go getter personality was one we needed to make our wedding happen. She helped calm us and reassure us when needed, answered any and all questions we had during planning, and delivered the most beautiful setup and flow for our big day.     Hiring Yvonne as our Day-of-Coordinator was perhaps the best decision we made in the whole wedding planning process! We are pretty low key people and she helped us to have the chill, low-stress wedding day that we wanted. Yvonne went above and beyond, meeting with us to walk through the venue with the caterer, helping us come up with a timeline, communicating with vendors leading up to the day of, wrangling our families at the rehearsal, setting up and breaking down our decorations, and coordinating the wedding day flawlessly! Our venue said that she was the calmest, most relaxed wedding coordinator/planner they had ever interacted with. She is incredibly competent, level-headed, kind, and easy to work with! We had an absolutely perfect, stress-free night, and Yvonne was a huge part of making that happen!

    Yvonne was simply amazing! From the initial contact and all the follow up, her professionalism and execution left nothing for want. We wanted to have our wedding at our family farm, which required more planning than a typical venue, and she was lock-step with us the entire way, from an early visit to scope the property and plan logistics, to suggestions for vendors along the way, to ultimately delivering a fantastic, unforgettable day for our 180+ guests. She made the day run so smoothly, corralling people into the right places at the right times (which was a feat given our venue had multiple rooms and lots of outdoor space), while making sure my now husband and I were taken care of and felt great. I cannot describe how thankful I am to have had her help on our wedding day, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone getting married in the area (or who is willing to fly her out) :)

    It's always hard to put your vision in someone else's hands.. especially being a fellow designer yourself. But choosing Yvonne, to not only put together my vision and all my Diy decor along with coordinating my wedding.. was the best decision ever..! She was on top of everything... and I mean everything!!! Being a bride is nerve wrecking, especially with so much responsibility and the rush of everything going on, you forget to breathe or even eat. Yvonne was just on top of it all.. she made our day go smoothly, she decorated our ceremony area and hall as envisioned. Everything was perfect.. I would highly recommend her for all events.. She is very talented..as is her assistant. They are a great team!!! You will not be disappointed in your choice.. I know we definitely were happy with our decision and glad to have met such a great person.. I felt like we knew each other forever..     We hired Yvonne and Unique Melody for day-of wedding coordination services and are so glad we did! From our first phone call we knew that Yvonne was a professional and she immediately demonstrated attention to detail, asking us about our plans and vision as well as questions we hadn't even thought about ourselves yet. When it came to the month before our wedding, Yvonne was an active contact with our vendors and musicians and made sure that we had everything covered and ready to go. Throughout the entire wedding day Yvonne and her assistant Iliana took care of so many details, from bringing tablecloths and arrangements to the venue, to setting up the place card table, and putting finishing touches on the chuppah. Once the guests arrived, she kept everything running on time and interfaced with all of our vendors, troubleshooting a few unexpected things that came up along the way without missing a beat. Yvonne made sure that, after all of the hours we spent planning, preparing and, perhaps, stressing out, we didn't have to worry about single a thing from the start to the end of our wedding day.

    Yvonne and her assistant, Cally, were wonderful to work with as day-of coordinators for our May 2017 wedding. Everyone kept telling me I was SO RELAXED for it being my wedding day - I can honestly say this is not because I’m a super-chill person usually, but because Yvonne and Cally were taking care of all of the things I would have normally been freaking out about. They went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared and taken care of on our day.

    We first spoke over the phone, and then met over drinks once, skyped once, and took a visit to our venue a month or two before the wedding. Yvonne is obviously very experienced, and she was able to quickly understand the vision and vibe of our wedding. My husband and I did most of the planning ourselves, but they were able to make sure we didn’t overlook any important details, as well as offer a few suggestions that we would never have thought to even consider. It made us feel so good to know we were in good hands.

    By the day of the rehearsal, we completely handed over the rest of communication/coordination with vendors. For those two days, we didn’t have to think logistics at ALL. We were able to fully enjoy the wedding festivities. The best part was that their behind-the-scenes work was quiet and efficient - they didn’t make it all about them or even make their presence known very much. And yet, there were so many little things they were attending to all day long. Without them, I would have been running around frazzled and not at all relaxed. Everything ran smoothly, we stayed on schedule, and any small issues were troubleshooted without us being interrupted. Hiring Unique Melody for our day-of coordination was BY FAR the most important decision we made for our wedding. Don’t try to do it all on your own!!

    Working with Yvonne was an absolute pleasure. We hired her as a day of coordinator. She met with us twice in person before the event and was in touch via email about planning, updates, and vendors as we got closer to the day. Yvonne was also great about asking us questions about things we did not even think of. Very important questions! We had total peace of mind the day of the wedding knowing that Yvonne and her assistant Iliana were there to keep everything on schedule and to also remind us that we were married :) They helped with packing up decorations at the end of the night, so we were relieved just knowing that they were there to make sure all of our stuff was safe and put away until the next day. They also helped with setting up the room and decor. I would highly recommend working with Unique Melody Events. They are experienced and know what they are doing. And, they are nice, friendly, professional, and more affordable that other day of planners we looked into. Don't waste your time looking for other planners, go with Unique Melody Events!

    Yvonne is nothing short of amazing. I reached out with somewhat short notice for day of coordinator services. Yvonne called and was immediately a helpful resource. I could tell in only a few short minutes in speaking to her, that this girl knew what she was doing and I wanted her on my team. I can't say enough about Yvonne and what a pivotal role she played in our wedding. Its hard to imagine what we would have done without her. She guided us patiently through the whole process. Much of the time she was anticipating what people wanted before they even knew what to ask for. Most importantly she did it all with humor and grace that put everyone at ease. I would recommend her again and again.

    Yvonne was amazing to work with. She did not leave out one detail of our special day, and truly turned it into our dream wedding. She was happy to meet with us as many times that we felt necessarily leading up to our special day. She kept us on track with a timeline and anything that needed to be done prior to the big day. She always made us feel important, and most of all she was extremely professional. She was amazing to work with, and we would highly recommend her.

    As you all may or may not know wedding planing can be quite exciting and also hectic. We, my bride and myself are both very fortunate to have had the privilege to work with Yvonne. She is very well versed with all aspects of this industry. And yes it is a trade of its own! As someone who is a little more hands on than most, she definitely took charge and i was OK with that. She made us feel like we were her only event and always had time for us. She even suffered a tremendous loss during our planing time and yet was still always there with a smile. A lot of people talk about their experience, their likes, things they would do different etc. We had so many guests tell us ,at the wedding or in most cases months later, that this was the best wedding they have ever attended!! We felt the same way and wouldn't have changed a thing. Yvonne truly made this experience a amazing life memory.

    Working with Unique Melody events for day of coordination services was an absolute pleasure. Yvonne handled all of the details on my wedding day which left me stress free and able to enjoy everything we had worked so hard to plan.     Yvonne was such a pleasure to work with! When we were trying to figure out our centerpieces, we realized that having a florist do them would be extremely expensive. Yvonne stepped up to the challenge and made our centerpieces along with doing our place cards and table numbers! I was floored when I saw how gorgeous they all were! The day before, we had an entire family cancel at the last moment requiring us to switch some of the seating. Yvonne was very flexible and made sure that everything was perfect. She also surprised us and made a beautiful wreath display for our sweetheart table! She came both before and after for set up and clean up also! I highly recommend her! She is very affordable and creative and so nice and personable. She took so much stress off of us for our wedding day and is the person to go to if you need help with any DIY projects!

    An amazing Planner for a type-A Planner!!

    We hired Yvonne for her full-service wedding planning and loved her! Our venue did not come with a coordinator, vendor list, or much of anything, so we knew we needed help with getting everything ready from the ground up. Additionally, I started graduate school and knew I would quickly get overwhelmed with the planning. What drew us to Yvonne is her philosophy that your wedding should be about YOU and that your guests walk in saying, "This is SO them". We also had a multi-cultural wedding with my husband's side being Korean, and Yvonne approached this with such grace and care. She truly delivered on finding vendors that could execute on our vision and assembled nothing short of the dream team (that we would have had zero chance of without her connections). I truly miss our check-in meetings and never felt like I couldn't speak up about something I was worried about or disliked. It was an amazing day, and it would not have been possible without Yvonne and her team.

    Hire Yvonne to make your wedding dreams come true!

    Yvonne did an incredible job as month of coordinator for my wedding! I can't recommend enough that you hire Unique Melody for your event! I was initially very nervous to hand over my wedding to her as I had spent SO many hours on all the details but I'm SO glad that I did. She executed it with such attention to detail. I mean she was even replacing candlesticks as they were burning out! It was so helpful having her there to navigate the ceremony rehearsal the prior day and then making a weather call the day of. Her and her team worked SO hard to make all my wedding dreams come true. Whenever an issue came up they were very quick to fix it. She was extremely adaptable and no problem was too big for them to solve. My seating assignment were hand written cards that they had to so meticulously hang each card with lots of different adhesives. They kept us on a tight timeline even though all the speeches were WAY longer than they were planned to be. I'm so grateful for her an her team and she is such a pleasure to work with.     My wife and I decided to put on a wedding in my in laws’ backyard and in doing so were met with a variety of challenges, missteps, and hiccups.     A true asset to your wedding day!

    Yvonne was an asset to have for our wedding and ensured the rehearsal and day-of ran smoothly and on time. She met us at our venue two weeks prior to go over the layout and answer any logistical questions that we had. She took charge leading our rehearsal the day prior, greeting our wedding party, and running through processional and recessional, making sure everyone knew where to stand.

    On the day of the wedding, Yvonne stayed in contact with our MOH and Groomsman to keep them updated and informed. Her and her assistant set up our centerpieces, decorated the tables very elegantly, and made our vision come to life. She cued the bridal party for the ceremony and reception entrance and made sure the entirety of the night ran on schedule, even politely snagging us from some chatty guests to make sure we could continue with our schedule of events.

    Lastly, Yvonne made sure our final payments and tips were distributed to all our vendors and packed up all the décor at the end of the night. Yvonne was instrumental in executing all the behind-the-scenes tasks during our wedding weekend and it would not have run as cohesively without her. Thanks to Yvonne, we actually got to enjoy our own wedding!

    Poor experience

    We had a very nice initial conversation with Yvonne about 3-4 months before the wedding as our day-of coordinators. The contract includes the month of timeline planning, rehearsal, and make contact with selected vendors. Timeline planning was smooth and then she disappeared up until a week before the wedding. We were cornered by all the vendors asking about timeline so we ended up have to do the communication ourself. I was extremely frustrated how come all the vendors still not connected up until 4 days before the wedding so I contacted her and she said they will be right on it which it still took a day or two to make it happen. Her team didn't not show up at the rehearsal and when I questioned that was part of the contract, she mentioned because of high wedding season so she cannot be there. But I'm also one of the wedding, correct? If your business cannot support the demand, it's not your clients fault to take the fall. I then suggested to do zoom because it more realistic and she agreed which she hide from her managed event and use the time other people paid her to consult our rehearsal. It's all okay since we got through it at the end with little assistance from their end.

    Her assistant was our day of coordinator and Catherine was helpful but she also lost a few of our items. One of keys, including our car keys were lost which cost $350 for us to replace and a hot water carafe that's worth about $50 dollars. I would've just let it go for the poor communication and attentiveness but us having to pay another $400 for them missing our stuff was just too much. When following up, she haven't reply back to us and it's been over a week. I hope people will take great consideration when hire this team.

    As discussed directly with client...
    Our contract does include rehearsal services, however rehearsals are scheduled between coordinator, client and venue, to confirm availability on all parties. When the date and time of the rehearsal was brought up at the detail meeting on 9/7/21, the response was, "I will have to confirm availability", as it was scheduled for a Saturday at 5pm during a peak booking season. In addition, at the detail meeting, catering, photography, and transportation had not been booked or confirmed by client. Although planning services were not booked, I still provided direct referrals of available vendors that fit the clients needs, as it was a time sensitive situation. Vendors referrals were provided both prior to detail meeting (list of makeup, photography, and transportation) and directly following. Additional services to book remaining vendors were also offered, but passed on, and the client eventually booked the referred vendors on their own. In conclusion of the detail meeting the client was instructed to provide the remaining vendors' information as soon as they had been booked, so their event sheet could be finalized and details confirmed. At this time, during an intense season, I did not follow up, as I was awaiting the information, something I recognize that I could have done better. Come 9/22 the client did reach out stating the vendors were looking to confirm timeline, in which I replied with a request for the remaining vendors information to finalize their details. Then directly following reached out to all vendors right away with timeline. As responses came in, some of the timeline was affected by communications that were not made to me, I followed back up to review again with client following all vendor communications on 9/27. This is also when the rehearsal was addressed, as I was not able to successfully staff the date and time requested, I then suggested that we have a walk through prior to ceremony as they were onsite early for first look with plenty of time to execute a rehearsal with the intimate party. When zoom was an option, I was happy to accommodate as it was a perfect timeframe for me to excuse myself from the wedding I was servicing, at which my assisting coordinator was able to assist the wedding party during their cocktail reception. Trying to find a quiet location, was difficult and therefore ended up in a storage closet, not hiding, but able to hear the call. I conducted the rehearsal of 8 attendees (including bride & groom, 4 wedding party members, Mother of the bride and officiant) by having the officiant copy my lead in directing them through their entire walk through, start to finish as if I were there in person. I was personally on site come wedding day for ceremony, and my "assisting", who was communicated as their lead coordinator from the time of booking, was one of my lead coordinators. This was so that she lead and finish the event as they departed on a boat, and I could be the runner for set up. The client had left the ceremony location with all their guests, and there were some remaining items for us to gather and bring to the boat, one of which was a bag left the the park bench, which contained their keys. All items were collected and brought to the boat and stored with the rest of their items. Following the reception, when the client contacted about missing items, I followed up with each vendor to try to locate, and got back to the client (via text through the husband), prior to this review being posted. A call was then conducted following.

    Wedding Day - month of plannet

    Extremely disappointed! Planner have another wedding and NO staff AT mine. 125 person wedding. No arrangements made for BRIDE & Groom transportation from ceremony to reception or from reception to Hotel at end of night. NO. Planner did NOT check IN WITH the bride until ceremony. AT 6pm. Awful! Did not COME TO THE bridal party dressing suite. Photographers did not have timeline. Had to improvise for pictures in hotel. The bridal party had No instructions, no schedule was given to the photographers, bridal party or groomsmen. No information or announcement at the end of cocktail hour to reception hall. MOH, MOB & Bridesmaids had to handle way too much that day. A ton of loose ends. All kinds of confusion at a very expensive wedding. Poor execution.

    I do appreciate the feedback from clients, regardless if they are good or bad. However, the comments that were made sound like they were made without all the information. I would like the opportunity to address them, and if you are still unhappy with the reasoning, I will accept the review for what it is, an outside view, not from my client.

    To whom left the review: Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry your experience was not to your expectation, however I am surprised after all seemed pleased with my performance throughout working together.
    In regards to the comments made, I did check in with the bride briefly in the morning however, I typically like to communicate with MOH and vendors, so not to bother the bride and groom on the day, which I did throughout that morning, as recorded on my phone.
    I stopped at the hotel, as I had to pick up the remaining items that were not dropped off. I did not stay as I had to get on site to set up both ceremony and reception site.
    Photographer's most defiantly had the timeline. I have prior to wedding day communication documented, as well as phone conversations. Throughout the day, I insisted that they move along with shots, due to the heat, however they insisted on working the way they wanted to provide the best photos. We even had a mutual shot list that was shared between us, that they did not follow. I was in communication with them all prior to ceremony to keep them on schedule (again have the documented texts), but they moved at their own pace, any un-organization in regards to photos was their own doing.
    I left the cocktail reception following final photos, and communicated to the DJ I would be back to announce cocktail, as I had to check in with final set up and caterer. The caterer needed 5 more minutes and I was waiting on the photographer to get detail shots (again have the text documented), so I sent my assistant to go back to cocktail to give DJ the word on when to announce for guests to go to reception, however the DJ announced before my cue. Still we were ready when guests arrived and I went back to shuttle the wedding party and bride and groom over, whereas the original plan was for everyone to walk over. Some did and stated that others were on their way. Obviously due to the heat and time, I went back to gather the remaining wedding party as a courtesy.
    In addition, even though it was not communicated to me that the floral vases needed to be returned, I went back the following days to return vases and look for a missing ring. No other issues were communicated to me. No additional staff was hired for this event.

    I hope that this information brings light to some of the comments made. I appreciate your time and I hope to hear back. I am happy to address and hear out any other feedback in regards to my services as I am always continuing to better myself as an individual, professional and business owner.
