Andrea at Unique Events is Amazing!
Andrea Boykin from Unique Events was a godsend. We hired Andrea to help us coordinate my daughter’s rehearsal and wedding. She was hardworking, dedicated, experienced, and caring. She provided insightful guidance that helped us achieve my daughter’s and her husband-to-be’s vision for a stunning wedding in the gorgeous mountains of north Georgia.
From early planning assistance to the event itself, her knowledge and expertise shone through, culminating in the seamless, fun, and beautiful wedding we envisioned. Her experience in the local area helped point us to top-notch vendors. Since we are not from the area, this was particularly appreciated. When we came to truly value Andrea (more than words can adequately convey) was when the unspeakable happened. With no forewarning, our original venue sent us an email (an email!!) informing us that the property had been sold, and they would NOT honor our venue contract. This unexpected email was received less than 80 days before the wedding! Every bride’s, groom’s and parent’s absolute worst nightmare.
The first person we reached out to was Andrea. She made herself instantly available and quickly provided us a list of other potential venues in the area. Her rapid response enabled us to pivot quickly. We were able to visit and select another venue within a week’s time and proceed with the wedding as originally scheduled with the wonderful new venue. As you can tell from the photos, the wedding and venue were absolutely stunning.
Andrea coordinated the entire rehearsal like the pro that she is, answering everyone’s questions and anticipating those no one thought to ask. She showed up the next day ready for action. I never saw her stop moving or sit the entire day, which began many hours before the actual ceremony. She made sure everything was handled from start to finish, from ensuring that the ceremony and reception site were beautifully arranged to securing the gifts and our personal items before she left. She coordinated with all of the vendors behind the scenes, ensuring that each of their parts was completed on time and per our vision. Whatever challenge came her way, she handled it perfectly, always maintaining a calm, cool, and cheerful demeanor – and without us having to worry or lift a finger. She is the ultimate professional.

A Perfect Ceremony Thanks to Ben!
We hired Ben to officiate our wedding, and the experience was absolutely amazing. From the start, both he and Andrea were incredibly professional, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Amazing wedding coordination and officiating services!
Andrea and Ben were both incredible and worth every penny for our wedding! They were both extremely communicative, kind, and helpful for us, since we didn't know what we were doing half the time.
Ben did a great job officiating our wedding, and listened to all of our concerns and requests for the ceremony. Andrea made the month before our wedding a breeze and handled everything from setup, vendor communication, and timeline to perfection!!
In addition to all of this, our wedding happened to be on the night of their anniversary, but they still gave us plenty of focus and attention, I cannot recommend them enough!

Amazing Wedding Day at Sugarboo Farms
Andrea and her team are the ABSOLUTE BEST. Even though we were planning a somewhat smaller and more informal affair, Andrea was a godsend. Leading up to the day Andrea's kind, patient, and detail-oriented communication was amazing. Importantly, she held space for us to be who we are and not pressure us to go in any direction throughout our planing- I cannot overstate how lovely that is. Honestly one of my favorite photos from the wedding was of Andrea leaning into our bird theme by wearing a feather headband!
I did not have to make a single decision or give any direction on our wedding day. I'm telling you- GODSEND. We had no idea if anything went wrong- you can't ask for anything more than that (and we had a caterer, band, DJ and bar set up in a somewhat challenging venue! We found out later that they had to completely pivot where the food was being cooked and set up). At one point Andrea had to kindly redirect the band when they started playing the wrong genre music that we had requested- woof. We were able to simply relax and enjoy the day with our loved ones. We also used her bar services and recommended DJ (who was so patient with our very specific requests) and everything was just perfect- everyone was so friendly, kind, and professional. Andrea also checked in on us throughout the evening and made sure we were fed and had drinks!
Even if you think project management and/or event planning are your strong suits, I'm telling you- HIRE ANDREA AND UNIQUE EVENTS. You don't need to be a hero on your wedding day.

It's difficult to plan a destination wedding, not knowing or really understanding what you're walking into. Andrea helped us with our wedding at Brasstown Valley. Having worked in the area for close to 20 years, she is very experienced and extremely familiar with the area. The checklist she gave on the aisle planner and the advice/tips I have gotten from her in each step of the planning process is super helpful! Her month of planning service was of great value, very comprehensive and exactly what we needed. She has great listening and coordination skills. Unlike other day of coordinators, Andrea made great recommendations on local vendors/designs as soon as we started working together and she was always ready to help. Thanks to their expertise, guidance and calm demeanor my daughter and son-in-law's wedding went as smooth and stress-free as possible considering we planned an outdoor sunset wedding at Brasstown Valley Resort that became a beautiful, fun Ballroom wedding inside the resort due to a tropical storm in November! Andrea navigated all the changes with the venue (along with Savannah, Catering Svc Mgr) and vendors within 24 hours of the wedding with ease, professionalism and attentiveness. Family and guests were impressed and grateful, as well, and expressed that everything turned out beautifully. The best wedding planning team!
Andrea and her team were a God send! From day one she gave us the direction we needed to get started and drew us the road map we needed along the way. There were a couple of vendors we struggled with and she gave us advice in handling the situations, emailed one of them and re-reviewed a contract after the wedding to assist in a breach of contract. The day of the wedding she was a mother of the bride’s bestie! She stopped at the store to pick up items we needed, made an ice run, and at one point when I was trying to unbox and put film in Polaroid cameras, she put her hand on my shoulder and told me to go be with my daughter and she would take care of it! She is calming, reassuring and has a heart of gold! Her and her team truly love what they do and it shows! I cannot recommend her enough!!!!!!!

Andrea truly went above and beyond when it came to helping us with plan our wedding. From day one she was very responsive and professional. She always kept her word and was sure to make everything happen for us exactly how we discussed it. She worked very well with our family members and wedding party, and kept everything in line the day of the rehearsal and the wedding day. Andrea was able to keep the day rolling smoothly and on schedule. Even after the wedding was over, a couple months later passed and she still was amazingly helpful and gave us guidance in handling a situation with a vendor who was not sticking to their contract. Unique Events is fantastic and I would recommend to anyone!

Just wow. My husband and I were so impressed with the service from our initial call with Andrea all the way to the wedding weekend where Andrea and Jessica took care of everything. Jessica would send monthly emails asking how we were doing, if we needed help with any planning component, and kept us on track of when we should secure each vendor. They were also willing to schedule a few calls with me so I could go over my ideas and ask for their input. They always gave great advice while still honoring our vision. I believe a wedding coordinator is the most important relationship during your wedding planning season and it was refreshing to work with people who care that your wedding is as stress free as possible. Both Andrea and Jessica are organized, kind and keep the wedding timeline on track. They give better service than other wedding coordinators based in Atlanta while keeping their pricing very competitive. We love Unique Events!

Amazing coordinator!!
Andrea was amazing to work with! She answered questions that we didn’t know to ask! The day of the wedding went off without any problems because Andrea handled everything, allowing the wedding party to really enjoy the day. She is extremely organized, professional and has a very calm demeanor.

We live in South Florida and decided to get married in North Georgia. Having never been to Blairsville we found a perfect venue, booked it sight-unseen and began the process of planning our wedding. Unique Events were recommended on the venue’s preferred vendors list so we did some research and read a lot of great reviews and decided to give them a try. Andrea and Jessica were AMAZING. They had great vendor recommendations, and very thoughtful insights about planning a wedding in the area… When we told our vendors we were working with Unique Events they had nothing but great things to say about Andrea and Jessica and how on top of everything they were, which really put us at ease. They were super responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. They guided us through the process every step of the way until our wedding day.
Jessica went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. When she realized there was an issue with the flowers 4 weeks before the wedding and everything was booked up, she found an alternative and delivered the flowers herself on the day of. Both Andrea and Jessica are incredibly capable and have a very calming, reassuring manner, which I really appreciated on our wedding day.
We expected rain, but weren't sure at which point during the event it would start. We discussed possible alternatives for keeping everyone dry in advance and packed umbrellas for guests just in case. The weather miraculously held out during the ceremony and didn’t start raining until the end of the cocktail hour. We had bought umbrellas as back up in case they were needed and I forgot to mention it to Andrea and Jessica. When we came back from our photo session, it started raining. I feel like before I blinked they had made sure everyone had an umbrella in their hand and was staying dry.
Dinner was being served buffet style in a separate building. Andrea walked our guests back and forth across the road to make sure that even though they had umbrellas, they also had an extra pair of hands if they needed support or help carrying their plates.That’s the sort of thing I would have done myself if I wasn’t the bride (and I’d been able to be everywhere at once!) I am certain that our special day would not have gone as smoothly or stress-free without Jessica and Andrea.
They made all the difference. I highly, highly recommend Unique Events.

Absolutely the best!
From the moment I met Andrea and Jessica I knew my "Welcome BBQ" the day before our wedding was in the best hands. They both were always kind and informative with great ideas when I was having panic moments about the event. There is not enough space on this review to say how beautiful the BBQ turned out, Andrea and her team worked so hard and it showed. All my guest's could not say enough how beautiful it was. Andreas calm demeanor was so helpful when we had a small issue with one of the buses not showing up on time, she navigated everything so effortlessly and kept the event moving along, no one ever knew we were waiting on the bus with the rest of the guests. My now husband and I adore Andrea so much and Unique Events will forever be my go to when I plan an event!

The perfect night
We worked with Andrea and she was able to set up the most incredible night in just the 4 months we gave her. The responses from every guest were incredible, the venue was incredible (Brasstown Valley Resort) and every detail from the rehearsal dinner to the wedding night was perfect. We live in Miami and are very busy and Andrea keep in touch with us continuously and handled everything Android gave us some chores to complete. She is amazing. She listened to what we wanted and added so many beautiful details that we never even considered. It was a dream fulfilled, we will never forget this night and Andrea was responsible for it all. Thank you so much.
If you are planning any event in North Georgia, don’t bother calling anybody else. Andrea at Unique events is THE BEST!

Dream Team
The best decision of my entire wedding planning experience was hiring Andrea & Jessica from Unique Events. I consider myself a Type A personality, and initially did not think I needed wedding coordinators.... I was severely wrong! From day one, Andrea & Jessica provided honest vendor recommendations and an extremely helpful online wedding planning tool that I used all the way up to the big day. Throughout the planning process, they were professional and fun to work with. What impressed me most was their fast communication. The wedding day could not have turned out as perfectly without Andrea & Jessica. I would recommend Unique Events to anyone looking for event coordinating! I planned a destination wedding for 40 people with about 12 seconds of free time a day. Andrea and Jessica helped me with vendors and a site visit and prepping for all of our guests arrival. I couldn’t have pulled it off without them. They have the patience of a saint!

Exceptional Service
Unique Events handled everything for our wedding day and not having to worry about anything was just such a stress reliever. We came from out of state to have our wedding in Blairsville, GA. When we arrived everything was set up and looked beautiful, it was perfect! The photographer was so sweet and really helped us relax to get great wedding pictures. I would completely recommend their service as they are professional, organized, and especially because they are local and know the area. They have professional relationships with local vendors like Enotah Valley, our wedding venue, which was beautiful. I definitely recommend their services!

Amazing Professionals!
I can't say enough great things about this amazing team! My daughter's wedding was all set to go for April of 2020. Just as the invitations were being dropped in the mail, the military implemented travel restrictions. Bride and groom are both in the Army. Wedding had to be postponed over a year because of deployments. Andrea and Jessica were in contact with me through that entire time making sure all the vendors were rescheduled, confirmed, and everything that was needed was executed just the way my daughter had asked. Communication with the bride and groom was not always possible because of the time differences and military schedules. Through all the multiple emails, texts, and phone calls with delayed responses and answers to questions, Andrea and Jessica never lost patience with us! After being on hold for over a year there were just some details that slipped my mind - for instance at the rehearsal when the minister asked about the unity candle. Jessica immediately said "no problem, I'll have one here tomorrow!" Also I had arranged for the Chic Filet Cow to deliver sandwiches at the reception and due to Covid that wasn't possible, however these ladies produced a teenager in a cow costume to deliver the sandwiches! Regardless of the situation, they came through with a solution!

A Godsend from day 1 !
Where do I begin?
Unique Events was nothing short of a Godsend for our April wedding!
First…late in the planning stages it was evident that our first intended wedding venue would not be completed due to construction delays attributable to the pandemic. Andrea quickly reached out to her connections and found us a location, oh so beautiful, and available for our wedding weekend!!
Everything seemed to be going ok until a vendor I was counting on (not in Unique’s preferred network) fell through the day before the wedding!! I was so upset!! What did Andrea do? First…she calmed me down and dried my tears. Secondly, she promised all would be completed even if she had to work until midnight getting things set up. She went right to task contacting her awesome network of vendors. Behind the scenes, wheels were in motion while Andrea calmly went thru the wedding rehearsal with us and getting our rehearsal dinner set up.
Unique Events rose to the occasion and provided the backdrop to what many of our guests have said was the best and sweetest wedding they had ever attended.
I can’t thank Andrea and her team at Unique Events enough for all they did for us. Choose them to plan your event…they will not disappoint you!!

Andrea and Jessica were extremely helpful to us, not just the weekend of the wedding but in the days leading up to it. Having Andrea and her team as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding weekend. She was incredible and helped to keep me calm and not stressed out. Beyond Amazing couple
Ben and his wife were so gracious to us on our last minute wedding day. We contacted them on Thursday to quickly get together and marry us on Saturday (Crazy yes but theres a story behind it i swear) I couldn't be more happy with their willingness to accommodate us and make some last minute changes. Ben spoke beautifully and though I didn't know him personally i truly felt like he was someone we had known for years for that special moment. They're an amazing couple to work with!

Beautiful Mid-Pandemic October Wedding
We found this venue after a colleague's son had his wedding there. We absolutely fell in love with the venue as soon as we saw the photos and visited. Linda and Andrea are absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our wedding day spectacular. We were truly impressed with how flexible they were in response to COVID 19. I hired Andrea/Unique Events to be my Day Of Coordinator. Andrea is so kind and so generous with her time. She went above and beyond throughout the wedding planning process to ensure that our wedding day would go smoothly. It went off without a hitch! Knowing that I had her there to double check vendor arrivals and details gave me peace of mind and allowed me (and the moms) to truly be in the moment and enjoy my wedding day! She took care of a miscommunication about my bouquet and it was handled before I even knew about it! She is extremely organized and has many years of event planning experience which showed in her attention to detail and logistical suggestions she made along the way. She ran our rehearsal the night before quickly and efficiently, took care of all of moving parts behind the scene on the day of, and coordinated the ceremony. We worked with Andrea at Unique Events after she was referred by our venue. She was amazing! Because she is local, she already knew most of our vendors and was able to do a bit of coordination with them ahead of time, even though we only hired her for day-of. She was a prompt communicator and made our wedding day go super smoothly - she even stopped by the store to pick up a super non-urgent item for us at our request! Andrea was a delight to work with and I highly recommend her! She made the day about us but threw in her thoughts and recommendations when prompted. (FYI, this was an LGBT wedding and all our vendors, including Andrea, were great!)

From start to finish Andrea was amazing. She took so much stress off of us in handled so much. Anytime we had a question leading up to or wedding shoe is there in a moment. Throughout our entire wedding day and rehearsal she was they're making everything go so smoothly. Couldn’t have done it without them
I cannot tell you how grateful I am that we chose Unique Events to help us plan our wedding. We hired Jessica and Andrea for partial planning and they were readily available with ideas, etiquette tips, thoughts, and vendor suggestions from start to finish for months before the wedding. We hired two vendors from their suggestions and they were great choices too! It was POURING down rain on our wedding day, but they and their team worked so hard with smiles on their faces. They made what could have been a very stressful weather event no problem at all! We made some last minute changes and they were so flexible and gracious. My parents and husband and I cannot praise them enough. They saved the day before we even knew it needed saving in so many ways. Fabulous wedding coordinators!
We worked with Andrea & Jessica for our May 2019 wedding at Sugarboo Farms in Blairsville. I highly recommend Unique Events to coordinate a wedding in North Georgia. They were extremely easy to work with, always quick to respond to my numerous questions throughout the wedding planning process, have great recommendations for local vendors and extra day-of support, and made our wedding day run so smoothly. I really can't imagine our wedding without their support.

Andrea and company we're outstanding.
Our daughter's wedding day went smoothly and effortlessly due to the excellent service provided by Andrea and company. Andrea listened to the ideas and thoughts that our daughter had about her wedding, and made sure everything went according to plan. She took care of all the wedding day details so that we were free to enjoy the day. Andrea communicated with all of our vendors and made sure.that everything was confirmed and coordinated. I recommend Unique Events without hesitation!

I have a whole new appreciation for the role of a wedding coordinator in planning the perfect wedding. From coordinating vendors, to ceremony timing down to a "T", to reception coordination, Andrea handled details with ease that I had not even begun to think about! Andrea planned the absolute perfect baby shower for me! Andrea even did all the ordering,shopping, catering and decorating. We had our wedding planned by Andrea and it was nothing short of amazing! Andrea made sure we were on top of everything we needed to do as the months went by and helped us get every detail in order. Everything went smoothly the day of because she was directing all the details. She was everywhere and invisible all at once and I didn't want for anything the day of. Most importantly she made sure my mom and I were happy the whole way through!

Oh my stars. I love love LOVE Jessica and her team! She had everything ready before I even thought about it and was all about what I want and what will make my day the best day possible. Not to mention it was a destination wedding that she got together in A MONTH!! I will be having another bigger wedding in August when my husband gets back from deployment and can't wait to work with her again! I can not complain about the work from Andrea, Jessica, and Abby for our wedding! Despite the foot of snow that fell the night before our wedding, everything ran smoothly and perfectly. The Unique Events team kept me calm and laughing on what could have been a stressful day. Jessica was wonderful as our Day-of Coordinator. As I planned our DIY farmhouse wedding, they shared with me lots of helpful documents to get my wedding schedule and details organized. Always available by email for a quick question or two. :) I enjoyed that they even came out to our venue for the rehearsal the day before to make sure everything went smoothly. The very few issues or minor problems we had during our wedding day were very well managed by Jessica, so that my husband and I could enjoy each other, and celebrate our lives together with our family and friends.

Jessica Smith was a life saver for my daughters wedding day! We had a goal of keeping it as stress free as possible for our bride and groom and with Jessica's help that was achieved! We had some trouble with other vendors not performing to the speed we needed them too and Jessica was able to handle all of this with professionalism and kindness! She went above what she had to do to make this event flawless! It was outdoors and it was hot but she managed to keep her cool and help everyone feel at ease! We received rave reviews for a beautiful fun wedding and Jessica was the driving force of that! Thanks Jessica we can never repay you!!!

We absolutely loved working with Unique Events! We worked with Jessica and she was an awesome wedding planner! She helped months before the wedding, minutes before and even pretended to be a makeup artist for two 7 and 9 year old little girls :) Everything went smoothly and we were very thankful that she orchestrated that! By the end of the day Jessica was like family to our family <3 I would definitely recommend this vendor for future brides, they were so very helpful and made the day absolutely perfect!

Andrea was an invaluable wedding planner for us! We live in Florida and most of our planning was done via distance and Andrea's recommendations for different vendors helped me sooo much! In addition to the wedding planning component, having Andrea as a day of coordinator for the wedding gave me the peace of mind to be able to enjoy my day as a bride and not fret about the details of my special day! She made sure that everything went smoothly and we stayed on schedule for everything we wanted to have happen at our wedding!

Andrea Boykin is fantastic! GET A DAY-OF COORDINATOR! I had a rainy outdoor wedding and Andrea efficiently and smoothly transitioned my wedding to the plan b. On the actual day it is difficult to think of all the details and make last minute decisions. She made contacts with all of the vendors in advance and on the day of the wedding she was all around the venue coordinating the vendors. She was an incredible addition to our wedding and we couldn't have done it without her! She was there to shuttle our guests with umbrellas and was knowledgeable about wedding events. Andrea was beyond helpful in putting us in touch with local vendors that all fit within our budget. She was quick to respond, lovely to work with, and made the whole planning process seamless. Andrea did such a great job as our "day-of" coordinator for our wedding. We met with her once before our wedding. It was so great to meet her in person before our event and she just seemed to "get" us and our vision. We sent her a list of the decor items that needed to be put out and where they should go. I saw her use that on our wedding day and check things off the list. Everything was better than I could have ever imagined and much of that was because of Andrea. She really is a joy to work with and some of the best money we spent.

Andrea and her crew are WONDERFUL! I couldn't have gotten through all of the planning--or even the day of--without her. She is extremely organized, has great connections, and is fun to work with. I would highly recommend Andrea for planning for just about any event!
She kept us on track and followed up with our vendors and the schedule. She handled things I didn't even know I was supposed to worry about!! I truly didn't have a thing that didn't go as planned - and we really believe it was because of Unique Events and an amazing network of vendors.

Andrea was an amazing coordinator. She's incredibly sweet but tells it to you straight when you need it. She is on top of everything in the days leading up to the wedding and makes sure your day is everything you want and more. Even when the skies opened up and poured a bucket of water on the venue, she made it happen and it was a beautiful event. I can't thank her enough for being so patient with, what became, a pretty hectic day and making sure we had everything we needed and wanted. I would recommend her to anyone.

Andrea was awesome, she made sure our wedding was special, and a day we will never forget. My wedding day was so much fun because I did not have to worry about anything, and Randy the photographer was awesome also.
