We visited 15+ venues around MA and CT and finally made it to Union Station after a friends recommendation. From that first visit, Neil was the first venue planner who had an ipad with pictures of the space set up from previous events and really allowed us to visualize what our day would be like. He answered a million questions without any hesitation and always provided solutions or recommendations. You will not find a venue like this. Let me tell you why..
1. The space itself is stunning!!!
2. PRICE. Neil has collected wedding decor over the years and unlike other venues does not charge you hundreds of dollars extra to use. We borrowed several things -table numbers, votives, lanterns for the aisle way. You do not realize how much this saves and is such a blessing. Additionally, compared to other venues the packages are extremely inclusive and highly affordable.
3. THE FOOD - our guests still talk about the food to this day. There was no problem accommodating several food and allergy preferences. Our guests couldn't believe preferences were confirmed by staff prior to food brought out. Unlike other weddings, you will not leave hungry. There is a plethora of appetizers, large meal size and THE DESSERTS!! Highly recommend adding the late night snack (chicken tenders, fries, sliders) - best decision we ever made!
4. THE STAFF - Kind. Attentive- to all our guests not just bride and groom. We had trays of appetizers brought to us. Dessert placed on our sweetheart table- thank god or we never would have gotten some! Drinks brought to us.
Last but not least, let me tell you what the staff did for us that truly demonstrates what sets Union Station apart from other wedding venues. We had mentioned in our vows our love for hot chocolate and s'mores. They then brought us hot chocolate AND set up a smores station for our reception!!!!!
We cannot thank you all enough for making our wedding day a day nobody will ever forget! We are so appreciative! -

Don’t overlook Union Station
The moment my husband and I stepped into Union Station, we instantly knew this was the perfect venue for our wedding. The venue’s unique history and aesthetic appeal, coupled with flawless service and incredibly friendly staff, set the stage for an unforgettable day. The Event Coordinator, Neil Gadbois, was the orchestrator of our dream wedding, ensuring everything ran smoothly and with utmost calmness.
Neil was transparent about the offerings within each package, never feeling pushy or like a salesperson trying to close a deal. His easygoing and responsive nature made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. Whenever we had a question, Neil was always there, ready with an answer. An event coordinator like that is accompanied by an incredible staff. Jaylene and Emma were amazing in taking care of us. Jaylene even greeted us with our signature drinks once we finished our ceremony, helping us kick off our celebration on the right foot. Our guests kept raving about the unique charm of the venue. It creates a nostalgic, speakeasy-like ambiance that takes you back in time.
We couldn’t have asked for a better day and we highly recommend that others give Union Station a visit, you will not be disappointed. - Lisa & Marc -

As a wedding photographer vendor, Union Station has truly been a pleasure to work at. This was our second time being a vendor photographing and filming a wedding at Union Station, and just like my first time filming a wedding there the vibe was excellent, the scenery was perfect, the friendly staff were professional, organized, and incredibly helpful, making the entire day run smoothly. I am looking forward to editing the photos and film for my newlyweds.

Our Best Decision
Choosing to have our wedding at Union Station was the absolute best decision we made in our wedding planning. I read great reviews online, so we went to visit, and we were wowed by the historic beauty of Union Station. The cost was also very reasonable. But the biggest reason why Union Station was the best was because of the events coordinator Neil Gadbois. Neil was incredibly organized, responsive, flexible, and gracious. We are Jewish and Puerto Rican, and they incorporated our traditions into the reception, such as latke appetizers during cocktail hour and empanadas as a late-night snack. Day of, we were incredibly well taken care-of and even had our own fantastic waiter Andrei making sure we got to eat and drink. Wedding planning is a ton of work, but it was not stressful because I was working with the best team. I highly recommend having your wedding at Union Station - it can be your best decision.

He was great at communicating and answering any questions we had. Even had great suggestions. My wedding was amazing and it couldn’t have gone any better! From the moment we booked Union Station Banquets, Neil and his team were rock stars. They were never said no, so accommodating, and always responded quickly to any questions or requests we had. The venue itself is stunning and we didn't need to spend a ton on extra decor - everything was included with no hidden fees. Neil and his team made sure every single detail of our wedding day was exactly where it needed to be and on point with the timeline. I never worried about anything, as they were always checking in with my husband and I to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. Neil truly listened to me and my vision and they even let you get a sneak peak of the room before everyone comes in and they brough my year of planning to life. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly to stop by in the morning to pick up! Everyone raved about the food as well! Many people said this was the most fun wedding they have ever been to! This is a day I will always remember as the most special day because of the incredible service and support from the Union Station Banquets team. -

Union Station Banquets didn’t just host our wedding, they made it the best day of our lives.
Of all the venues we toured, this was the one that made our groom tear up. We met playing romantic leads in Murder on the Orient Express, so we wanted a space that felt rooted in that vintage charm. The Roosevelt Room gave us everything we dreamed of. Original 1911 architecture, warm oak, soaring ceilings, and period light fixtures made it feel like stepping into a storybook. It was elegant without feeling forced. Grand, but never overwhelming. Just honest, timeless beauty.
We chose the Platinum Wedding Package and held everything onsite, from the earliest getting-ready moments to the final dance. Bridal suite prep, portraits, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing all flowed seamlessly. That kind of ease is only possible when you're working with people who genuinely care, and at Union Station, that care is felt in every single detail.
Neil Gadbois, our coordinator, was nothing short of exceptional. Calm, responsive, and thoughtful, he made every interaction feel like we were in the best possible hands. He answered every question, embraced every oddball request, and made room for us to relax and enjoy the experience instead of managing it. His presence brought so much peace and confidence to the process.
The food tasting alone felt like a celebration. We brought both sets of parents and were treated to a fully styled reception preview. Our table was dressed in our theme colors, complete with a sample centerpiece and a green glass base they chose based on our inspiration photos. That detail appeared at every table on the wedding day, beautiful, on-theme, and included without any added cost. The food was so good we found it hard to choose just three entrees. They also let us offer vegetarian and allergy-friendly options for our guests, outside of the three main choices, which meant a lot.
The night before the wedding, Neil ran our rehearsal like a seasoned director. He welcomed everyone with warmth and walked us through every moment with ease and clarity. That night, we hosted our rehearsal dinner at Notch8, and it was everything we could have hoped for. The flatiron steaks, the shrimp scampi, and the smoked cocktails were all big hits, and our server Paige even teared up when we shared how we met.
The morning of the wedding, we started early, and Neil was already there, cheerful and organized. We added the breakfast spread to our package and we’re so glad we did. The food was delicious, and we’re still dreaming about the scones. Every moment of the day felt calm and taken care of. We never felt rushed, and we never had to wonder what was happening behind the scenes.
Andrei, our lead server, was an absolute legend. From the moment we arrived, he was there coordinating with Neil, bringing snacks and drinks to the bridal suite, quietly handling every detail. During outdoor portraits, he crouched behind the bride to lift her train off the wet ground so it wouldn’t get dirty, staying hidden to keep the photos perfect. We didn’t ask. He just did it.
During cocktail hour, he ushered us into the bridal suite for a few quiet moments alone and appeared again and again with fresh appetizers like clockwork. Later in the evening, when he noticed we were more dehydrated than tipsy, he gently switched us to water and kept us hydrated all night. At one point, he danced across the floor with a tray of water just to hand a glass to the groom during the Time Warp. We’re not exaggerating when we say he was one of the MVPs of the entire day.
While we took family portraits in front of the fireplace, the team flipped the ballroom with such quiet efficiency we barely noticed. When we reentered for dinner, the room looked flawless.
And the food? Spectacular. Our guests are still raving about it. The peppered beef tenderloin with mushroom burgundy demi-glace was the top favorite, but everything else was divine too, the pan-seared salmon with Dijon-herb beurre blanc and the slow-roasted chicken with honey balsamic glaze.
Even the bartending team made a lasting impression. The bride’s father is a loyal Labatt drinker, and even though we knew it wouldn’t be a popular request, bartender Tina made sure it was stocked just for him and his friends. That small gesture meant the world to him, and to us.
We used a rented floral package that needed to be returned, and without us lifting a finger, Neil had everything boxed and loaded into the bride’s parents’ car by the end of the night. We never felt rushed. We never felt pushed out. Just supported and celebrated, every step of the way.
Union Station gave us more than a beautiful space. They gave us a flawless day filled with joy, meaning, and deep ease. They honored our vision, elevated it with care, and gave us the freedom to be fully present from beginning to end. We will never stop being grateful. We cannot imagine a better place to get married. If we had to do it all again, we'd pick Union Station every time. -

We got married at Union Station back in June, and it really was a perfect day (and weekend). Right from our first introduction to USB, Neil was responsive, accommodating, and calm. He made us feel confident that we had found the right venue for our wedding and was exceptional all the way through execution of a perfect event. Robert and Andrei were assigned to be our right-hand guys from pre-ceremony all the way up to the after party, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. We received endless compliments from our guests—the beauty of the venue, the perfectly-cooked food, even the elegance of the serving staff delivering and placing each table’s meals all at once—it was a true five-star event the whole way through. We also were able to take advantage of Platform Sports Bar for a welcoming reception for our guests the night before our wedding, and we used the Tunnel Loft behind the banquet hall/above Tunnel Bar for our after-party. Neil was involved with planning all these events and provided a turnkey service for the whole weekend. For anyone considering a wedding (or other event) at Union Station, we cannot recommend them enough! -

Union Station was the perfect venue for our July wedding. Neil was amazing and made the whole process seamless. My husband and I were planning from 2000 miles away, but Neil’s communication was incredible and made us feel like there was no distance. We’re not huge fans of cake, so he recommended a s’mores bar instead, which was absolutely delicious and so fun!
The team was fantastic on the actual wedding day, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was beautiful. We had a breakfast the next day, and the staff was just as attentive and wonderful as they were during the main event. Union Station was such a huge part of what made our day so special and stress-free, and I cannot recommend them enough! -

Look no further!
If you have already visited Union Station during your wedding venue search, then you most likely have it listed as a top contender on your list of tentative venues, and if you have not visited Union Station yet, we highly advise you to reach out to Neil (Union Station's event director) and go check out the space.,.you will NOT regret it! During the whole planning process, Neil was extremely responsive with all communication, and was very helpful when it came to organizing and working with our other vendors (baker, florist, band, photographer). The bridal suite and conference room area upstairs of the Roosevelt Room worked perfectly for my large group of girls (9 bridesmaids, 3 moms) to get ready the morning of our wedding. We were able to arrive early to have hair and makeup done on site - 3 hairstylists and 2 makeup artists fit more than comfortably in the conference room, and the space has awesome natural light for these services! We loved that Union Station has preferred vendors that know the venue and already have a great relationship with the Union Station team, making it one less thing to have to worry about come the day of your wedding. We worked with Mauro at La Fiorentina, and Heather at Durocher Florist, and they were such a wealth of knowledge and so flexible working with what we wanted, making it a breeze to cross off the cake and flowers from our "to do" list! We knew from the start of wedding planning that we wanted a band vs. a DJ; the Roosevelt Room has the perfect layout to accommodate a band and dancing without feeling cramped - we had 145 guests and a 7-piece band. You 100% will be in the best hands when you book your wedding at Union Station. Our family and friends are still talking about how unique the space is, how delicious the food was, and how "top notch" the staff was! It truly was the most perfect day, and we will forever be grateful for the entire Union Station team for being a part of it!! -

Everything about union station was more perfect than we ever could have wished for. First off, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We provided almost no decorations because it really wasn’t needed. The staff was phenomenal. The coordinator, Neil, went above and beyond at all stages of planning and on the day itself. He responded quickly to any questions I had and was always very helpful. We had our rehearsal dinner at union station as well and he kept the whole weekend running so smoothly I never had to give a thought to anything other than enjoying the day. The entire staff was amazing but I also wanted to mention how truly wonderful Robert and Andrei were. Any time we needed anything at all they were there before we even realized we needed it and both went above and beyond to make our day truly perfect. I cannot recommend union station enough and feel so incredibly lucky we found this venue for our wedding. -

We had our ceremony and reception at Union Station this past weekend, and words cannot do justice to how wonderful the staff at this venue were throughout the entire event. We had a few really specific considerations when we were on the hunt for a venue, primarily that we wanted to have an all-vegan menu. Union Station was the one place that seemed not only able to accommodate that wish, but actively excited about the opportunity to explore vegan options with us, and the food at both our tasting and the wedding was AMAZING. All of our guests were so impressed! We were also able to have three signature drinks and pick two draft options, all of which were a big hit with our guests thanks to the great bar staff. Neil, the on-site coordinator, was responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and handled the setup of the decor/guest book etc on the day -of so that we could focus on getting ready. And we also can't say enough good things about Robert, our head waiter; he went above and beyond to make our day perfect, from helping our photographer get the perfect autumn shot by throwing leaves at us off-camera (and then picking the leaves out of our dress trains!) to overseeing the structure of the day, to simply checking in and bringing us whatever we needed! Another member of the staff expertly assisted with the bustling of our dresses, and every other staff person we worked with throughout the day was absolutely lovely. Our guests were floored by the kindness and attentiveness of everyone working that day. From coordinating with our other vendors to plating our five-course dinner, Union Station made every potentially difficult task an absolute walk in the park. The space itself is also one of the most beautiful and functional venue spaces in the area. We were able to use the bridal suite for the entire day, which made getting ready so much easier. We used the atrium for a photobooth and guest book area, and it was great to have a separate, slightly quieter space for that sort of thing. I will tell everyone I know to use this venue for their events; it's the perfect combo of a beautiful space and rock-star staff. -

If you are skeptical about booking the Roosevelt room, DO IT. I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Neil, their wedding coordinator, was an absolute dream. He was with me every step of the way and made sure all our bases were covered. He helped coordinate the flowers, wedding cake, rehearsal, meals, signature drinks, the list goes on!! Not to mention the fact that this place was all inclusive for the most part. One contact for wedding cake, flowers, food and drinks? YES PLEASE. Made my life SOOO much easier. This place needs no decor, it is so beautiful on its own and it’s in a great location. Lots of bars, restaurants, and hotels are within walking distance. The staff here was fabulous and everything was delicious. I really felt so special and important and a big part of that was due to the staff at Union station. I cannot rave enough about this venue!!! -

Wow. They set the bar high. We got married in Amherst a couple days ago. We decided to have our wedding at the Inn on Boltwood so we could have accommodations the night of/on site. However, we wanted to venture out for the rehearsal dinner. We looked around extensively in the Amherst/Northampton area and eventually decided on the Union Station for our rehearsal dinner. This was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. First, Neil, the Event Director, was SO responsive even though we were only hosting our rehearsal dinner with them. We ended up selecting the premium plated dinner for approximately 30 guests. The Union Station does not currently have fee to rent their space for the dinners, which made it far more affordable than the competition. The price was right, and the food quality was phenomenal. The Union Station food lived up to all the reviews. We also did not want to do a full open bar, but Neil gave us other options that allowed us to host some of the bar tab (we had 2 bottles of wine per table). For appetizers, we had the cheese/veggie/fruit platter (guests raved about the quality of the fruit). We had passed apps of bacon wrapped dates with manchego cheese, cauliflower risotto balls, and steak on a crostini. Each app, recommended by Neil, were AMAZING. We chose to have the salmon and beef tenderloin for the main courses, as well as the pesto ravioli as our vegetarian option. I had the salmon and it was PERFECT. As a side, we chose the caramelized potato gratin and broccolini. The beef tenderloin was so perfect and cooked just right. Everyone LOVED their meals, especially us. We finished with the seasonal cheesecake (strawberry topped). Throughout our wedding and honeymoon, we kept talking about how much we loved the food at Union Station. Lastly, the room was decorated so perfectly and the staff were SUPER accommodating and took such good care of our guests. I would go out of my way to host an event here again just to eat the food. -

First and foremost, we could not be happier to be writing this review, as we had the most amazing experience all around at Union Station. Starting with the venue, it is absolutely perfect. It was the first venue we toured almost two years ago, and we knew the moment we walked in that it would be our wedding venue. The venue is stunning, classy, and we received numerous compliments throughout the night from our guests as to how much they LOVED Union Station, and how perfect it was. Robert, our personal waiter for the night, was there from the beginning to the end, and was absolutely incredible. He was helpful, very attentive, and made us both feel so comfortable throughout the day. Thank you, Robert. Now, we have to get to the #1 reason why Union Station is a 5-star venue, and that is the event coordinator, Neil Gadbois. One of the main reasons we chose Union Station outside of how beautiful it was, is because of Neil. We knew right from the start that he was an absolute professional, who really cares about the couples he works with. Neil was amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process, and was always available to answer any questions we had. Neil is one of the kindest individuals we have met and was professional and efficient throughout. Fast-forward to our actual wedding day -- IT WAS PERFECT. We succumbed to the fact that "something" would go wrong, but it did not. The entire staff at Union Station were on top of everything and we received a plethora of compliments as to how our wedding day was the smoothest, most perfect wedding anyone has ever seen, which is a testament to the greatness of Neil and his staff. In closing, if you are looking to have an amazing, seamless wedding experience that you will never forget - look no further than Union Station. We are so grateful for our experience at Union Station and could not recommend it enough!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN TO NEIL AND THE STAFF!!! -

We did a Sunday brunch buffet here the morning after our wedding and it was fabulous. The venue is so unique, with stunning masonry and interesting history. Beyond the setting, all the food was so delicious, and very reasonably priced for the quality.
Neil was a delight to work with, he really listed to our questions and our vision and had great suggestions to help us bring it to life. The servers did a fantastic job of keeping the buffet food fresh and hot and clearing plates without being in the way.
Neil also coordinated renting the tunnel bar (below union station) for an afterparty, which was a huge hit with our guests (best martinis we've had!) Such a fun and special experience all around, thank you Union Station! -

A Night to Remember
From the moment we walked into the Roosevelt Room at Union Station we knew it would be the perfect selection. Neil was amazing from start to finish, helped us with as much planning as we possibly could (especially when we had to postpone our original date due to COVID) and was always an email away when needed for any information or just words of encouragement. The day of the event everyone was professional and courteous of ours and our guests requests and comfort levels during COVID. And it goes without saying that the food was beyond incredibly. We will highly recommend Union Station to anyone looking to have events in the future ( not just a wedding). Thank you to Neil and his staff for making our wedding reception a night we will never forget! -

Couldn't have asked for more!
Neil and his staff was very accommodating. They were helpful, providing suggestions when needed. Furthermore, the our venue package included table centerpieces of our choice, cake with 2 well known bakeries as options, alleviating those two additional worries. It was the complete package for us. The food was outstanding! -

Perfect all-inclusive wedding venue
Neil and his team at Union Station made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, with minimal input from us so we could fully enjoy our guests and party! Our wedding needed to be postponed twice due to COVID and Neil was responsive and flexible, allowing us to rebook and honoring our original contract. Our guests all raved about the quality of food and the service as well - they covered all the big things like cooking the food perfectly and also all the little things like bringing out kids meals first. Great value for the money we paid with many of our guests saying it was one of the most fun weddings they've attended! The venue was so beautiful that we didn't need to bring any additional decorations. Their package structure makes it easy to plan a wedding and they handle all of the deliveries (flowers, cake), setup of the rooms, and staffing the bar with great bartenders and servers who watched out for us all day, making sure we had drinks and food. We also hosted brunch for our guests the next day, and again the food and service were excellent, including the build-your-own mimosa bar. -

Neil over at Union Station was FANTASTIC! My husband and I were set to get married in The Roosevelt Room in September 2020, but then COVID hit. Despite the circumstances that we all faced, Neil and Union Station were beyond committed to helping us plan an incredible day. Their flexibility, professionalism and commitment were unmatched and difficult to articulate in a simple review. The team was willing to wait with us as restrictions changed daily and adapt as September arrived. Our original 150+ person festivity was not feasible but Neil and his team were able to shift us to an incredibly scenic farm a short distance from Union Station, where we had a lovely 20 person wedding reception. The owner of Union Station owns Micka Farm and while this is not generally used as a wedding venue, they were willing to accommodate us and our guests under a tent while we enjoyed the delicious food The Roosevelt Room had to offer.
We couldn't have been any more fortunate to work with Neil and Union Station as they were able to (seemingly at the last minute) transition everything to an outdoor venue. They did this without having any additional stress or issues and made the whole process seamless and carefree for us. While we were initially ecstatic at the prospect of holding our Wedding Reception at Union station we could not have been more pleased to work with Neil and the team who did everything to provide us with a special day, even in these dire circumstances.
My husband and I were so impressed and thrilled with our experience with Neil & Union Station that we are going to have our post-covid bash there as well in the future! Again we couldn't speak more highly or feel any more strongly about the experience we had with this team.

Just what we wanted
We’re so glad we decided to go with Union Station for our wedding venue! The event coordinator we worked with, Neil, was absolutely amazing at helping us customize the details for our event. We wanted something small/intimate anyway, and everything was so perfect you would’ve never thought we had such a great time while working around COVID restrictions. The staff/service/food was excellent, historic scenery was a great feature, and the price was very reasonable! Bonus points for the private parking lot too. ;) Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants something low-key & intimate (no matter what your guest count is), all while being just as beautiful, memorable, and perfect as any other luxurious wedding venue would be. -

Union Station helped us pull off our dream Christmas wedding all the way from New Orleans! Neil and his staff did an amazing job and put me at ease throughout the whole process and especially during our wedding night. We had both our ceremony and the reception at Union Station!
We met Neil and his staff for the first time when we flew in for our tasting. Our head waitress was so great during the tasting, my dad specifically requested her to be there the night of our wedding! AND SHE HAPPILY WAS :) Neil was super flexible with this whole process of planning from so far away. He was always very quick to answering my questions, letting us pop in for a quick visit if we were in town and dropping off our decorations a few days early!
Neil did an amazing job helping out this former teacher who sent him, yes... a 10 page file filled with screen shots of the venue, my decorations and placement of everything. For someone who likes to do all the setup herself, Neil most certainly brought my vision to life and seriously we had so many compliments with the set up.
Speaking of compliments, THE FOOD! OH MY GOSH WAS IT DELICIOUS! Everyone was raving about how great their dinners were for the next few days. Even at the tasting it was so hard to narrow down our three selections.
Overall we were beyond thrilled with our wedding night and experience with Union Station. I will HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone! -

AMAZING venue with even better staff
We got married and had our reception here in June 2018 and it was the best choice. Corey was the coordinator then and really when you paid for this venue you were paying for his amazing attention to detail and he and his staff's seemless movements throughout the night. They were very easy to work with and very flexible, allowing us to add on a late night snack not far before the day of the event. Salads were on the guests plates already when everyone say down after our first dance. When a table was served, the entire table was served and no one was left behind. Waitstaff were attentive and courteous and did not take drinks just because they were partially filled. The venue was of course also beautiful and there were great photo ops inside, out front, along the side walk, and also in the tunnel bar just under the venue. Between them and my DJ I didnt have to think once about the progression of events for the evening, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. The little bridal suite upstairs was perfect for a quick breather. And the food was absolutely delicious. If I could give this venue, and Corey himself, more than a five star review, I would! Thank you for making my day so amazing. -

Choosing Union Station was the best decision we made for our New Years Eve wedding! We planned our wedding from our current home (Chicago) because we wanted to get married back home in New England, so we did a TON of research online to fit our needs (e.g. wedding can go past midnight, budget friendly, unique, etc) and ended up only looking at this one venue in person. At the time, Corey was the coordinator and he gave us a great tour and talked through his vision that really sold us. A few months later, Corey moved to another state and Neil took over as coordinator, and we’re so lucky Union Station filled this position with someone just as wonderful. Neil is detail oriented, professional, and experienced. He’s very involved the day of and everything went so smoothly.
The venue speaks for itself. The vaulted wooden ceilings, the big fireplace, the exposed brick. The pictures make it seem beautiful, but just wait till you see it in person! -

Winter Wonderland Wedding
Thanks to the Neil and his wonderful team our big day and wedding was everything we ever dreamed and more. I am an admitted control freak and as someone in the hospitality/wedding industry I have seen the worst of the worst and the best....or so I had thought. Union Station Events set a whole new standard in my mind for how a wedding should be run and has set the bar higher for professionalism. Everyone was wonderful, the staff was polite, professional, and friendly. The food was FANTASTIC and the bartenders were world class.
I personally found my wedding planning process to be simple, easy, stress free and I feel as if I owe it entirely to Neil. He was always quick to respond to emails, polite but still approachable and friendly. You could really tell that he cared about his job and our big day. The already beautiful Union Station Event Hall was turned into a winter wonderland for our wedding. Everything was set up for us just the way I imagined it, only better.
The beautiful vintage venue still remains a constant conversation point with our guests, a month later. Everything from the light fixtures, the brickwork, to the grand archways drip with grandure and old world romance. It leaves an impression on everyone who enters. Unlike many venues these days we felt that Union Station had an authentic historical uniqueness that left all of our guests impressed.
I could go on and on but to summize I cannot recommend Neil and the Union Station event team enough. I think Union Station should be the obvious choice for any Bride or Groom looking for a less stressful wedding planning process with flawless service in an unbeatable atmosphere.

We could not have been more pleased with our wedding reception at the Union Station! Neil and the staff at Union Station were extremely attentive and helpful throughout our whole planning process and wedding day. Neil is very responsive, easy to work with, and incredibly personable. He made sure that our wedding reception ran more smoothly than we ever could have imagined and us as well as all of our guests were beyond impressed! I would absolutely recommend the Union Station for a wedding reception. You will be in great hands with Neil and the rest of the staff! -

Best day ever and best staff!!
Neil and the staff at Union Station Banquets were beyond amazing. They were so helpful during our year and a half long engagement and planning process. The weekend of our wedding we weren’t worried about a thing because we knew we were in good hands with them. The day of coordination went smoothly and we didn’t have any hiccups or issues. The servers and bar staff were polite professional and extremely helpful. We received many compliments throughout the night and the days to follow on how good the service was and how everyone enjoyed the delicious food. We had several people with dietary restrictions and food allergies and everyone was able to eat and enjoy their meals. I cannot recommend this unique space and it’s amazing staff enough for anyone who’s looking for an amazing wedding or event. -

We were shopping around for a venue with only 5 months remaining. My (now) wife and I reached out to a ton of places and were surprised how many were available in August, however Union Station's pictures looked incredibly inviting. We visited Neil and even though we considered other places, his hospitality combined with the old vintage charm of the place had us sold.
We also built a custom buffet and had an amazing tasting that really gave us a lot of confidence. Unlike many other places Neil was just a chill and cool coordinator who let us come early and set up shop. This is quite rare in the venue space. He coordinated our rehearsal and made sure the place looked homey and intimate. We got a ton of compliments after our wedding, the place is unique and special and our guests felt it. Everything from the finely tuned piano to the giant fireplace mantle, it just looks COOL. There is an upstairs suite for the bridal party that we took advantage of and our guests were loving the various 'sections' of the space. To top it off, after the wedding was over there was a ton of night life available for guests to partake it. Tunnel Bar is always a hot spot, but there are clubs and bars filled to the brim with locals.
Overall, we would highly recommend Union Station and Neil specifically. The value and quality of the food, drinks and coordination just cannot be beaten with anything that we found in our area (Boston burbs). -

Where to start? We were married on January 19th at Union Station in Northampton and our experience could not have been better! Corey, the event director, is professional, attentive, creative, and so fun. He is an asset and helped us bring our wedding vision to life. On the day of, Corey kept our schedule moving smoothly and brought my new husband and I drinks, food, etc. He even fixed a bridesmaid’s zipper when it broke! Corey thought of every detail to make our day special.
When the bridesmaids arrived at the venue from the hotel, there was a charcuterie plate and champagne waiting in the bridal suite for us. Following the ceremony, when we were waiting to be announced to the reception, there were drinks and a plate of our passed apps brought up to the bridal suite for the whole party. It was awesome and so thoughtful!
The space looked absolutely incredible. While the architecture looks gorgeous on its own, Corey set our decor, uplights, and flowers in a way that brought the space to life. I heard over and over from our guests that Union Station was one of the most unique venues they had ever seen.
Finally, the food was just amazing. I am usually pretty wary of wedding food, but this food was like eating at a fancy restaurant. From the synchronized serving of plates (something my parents loved) to the special attention given to a friend with food allergies, every piece of the dinner was executed perfectly. My husband and I both had the hangar steak, which was delicious and cooked to perfection.
All in all, we could not be happier that we booked our wedding at Union Station. Thank you to Union Station for the best day of our lives!! -

Where do i begin with Union Station, this place is absolute perfection. Corey guides you through the process with zero stress (which says ALOT coming from me). From our first meeting to the tasting to our final run-through meeting, everything was amazing. Our guests are still telling us how great the food and ambience were. I don’t even know where to begin because everything with Union Station was so perfect. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and so unique, our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful it was. Not only is it beautiful, but the all inclusive nature made planning a breeze, a huge weight off any bride’s shoulders. The food was absolutely incredible, our guests were raving about how it was the best meal they’ve had at a wedding. All in all, Union Station is a fantastic venue, but I can’t speak highly enough about the director, Corey Smith. He was so quick to answer any silly question I had, made planning SO easy, and did a beautiful job with all of the decor. He made sure all of my vendors were on the same page (even hand delivered flowers to our hotel), handled last minute changes like a champ and the timeline of the day couldn’t have been more perfect. He is absolutely AMAZING. Bottom line, you just can’t go wrong with Union Station for your wedding, I wouldn’t change a thing with our day. Thank you! -

Everything was beautuful, from the moment you walked in to the moment you left. The food was outstanding....guests are still telling me a month later that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Our experience at Union a Station was perfect from the beginning. As soon as I saw it in person, the pictures don’t do it justice, I knew it was the perfect location to celebrate! I could not have been happier with the day!!

I appreciated how receptive he was to fulfill my vision and appreciated every little detailed that was considered throughout the entire night. I did nothing but thoroughly enjoy the entire reception, and that is all I could have hoped for. From the very early stages of planning to the execution, Union Station was the absolute best and would recommend this location to anyone looking for a unique, beautiful and accommodating venue.

When we first booked with Union Station it was under a different coordinator. When we heard the news of the change in management I was a bit nervous because the previous guy was great. Let me tell you - Corey is even more amazing! In the months leading up to the wedding he was super responsive to my annoying crazy bride emails. When we had our meeting a few weeks before the wedding to finalize things he could not have been more accommodating and flexible with what we wanted. We had to change the venue or ceremony last minuet from church to Union Station and he handled it flawlessly and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect.
The night before the wedding I was able to drop off all of my decorations and little extras. I handed them to him with all the trust in the world and just told him to make things look pretty and he did exactly that! The day of the wedding I had several things go wrong - nothing to do with the venue at all but Corey stepped in, calmed my nerves, and made sure that me and my now husband were treated like a king and queen. He was always happy to make sure I had a glass of wine in my hand! The food was AMAZING, the servers were perfect, and our two bartenders couldn't have been better!
I also want to note that I had a huge issue with one of my other vendors and Corey went out of his way after our wedding to reach out to that vendor and make things right with the situation on my behalf. I can't thank him enough for going above and beyond to make a really crappy situation a million times better.
12/10 times I would recommend Union Station - and more importantly Corey to ANYONE looking to get married. -

Liz Sent on 11/03/2017We could not have asked for a more incredible wedding day! Corey and the staff at Union Station went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect. We had around 100 guests, and a vintage, travel themed wedding that fit the venue perfectly. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the wedding was, with most saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to! From the location, to the food (which everyone raved about), to the absolutely amazing staff, I literally cannot recommend Union Station enough!
Corey went so above and beyond that I don't even know where to begin! He made sure every detail for our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Corey took all the cool travel themed decor we had found and decorated the Grand Ballroom into something out of our wildest dreams. He made each of our centerpieces incredibly unique and special, and it was such a treat to be surprised and dazzled from the moment we walked into the reception.
He also included details that were important to us, like having some of our favorite apple cider donuts as a late-night snack, and took them above and beyond, creating a whole display with hot cider that was absolutely gorgeous!
On top of all of that, he made our weekend a breeze by going out of his way to pick up the vegan cupcakes we had ordered for some of our guests.
I cannot recommend Union Station enough. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and Corey and the staff at Union Station had so much do to with that.

Taylor Sent on 10/25/2017Union Station was the absolute perfect venue for our Gatsby themed wedding! The vintage feel is so romantic and timeless! Corey and is staff were very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. Corey even went so far as to design a whiskey bar for us that was a smash hit with our guests! He came up with the entire layout and even had the great suggestion of adding a cigar bar to accompany it. Our guests absolutely loved it and it made the wedding theme really come together nicely! Union Station also provided the BEST food I have ever had at a wedding or any other type of banquet function. The portions were generous and soo delicious, our guests could not stop raving about the passed hors' devours and dinner!

Union Station provided everything we wanted in a wedding venue and then some! We were looking for a unique venue that had great architectural character, which we found here. Included with the package we selected were our floral centerpieces and our wedding cake, which made our planning even easier. Guests continue to comment on how beautiful the space was and how much they enjoyed the food (also provided by Union Station). We would whole-heartedly recommend this venue. -
