So delicious!

If you're looking for catering for an event, look no further. We looked at a number of different catering options, and it was clear after our tasting that Unforgettable Food Affairs/Raleigh Catering was something special. The food was so good that we ended up happily paying extra for additional sides and appetizers. April and her staff are super friendly and accommodating and have great attention to detail, even coming to our venue walkthrough. The temperature of the food was just right, and we received so many compliments on the food. We did a Southern BBQ style and both the out-of-towners and the local Southerners were raving about it. We will definitely be using Unforgettable Food Affairs again in the future!

Food our guests couldn’t stop raving about!

April and her team at Unforgettable were amazing. I communicated with April to set a menu and then we visited her store for a tasting. She was extremely professional, personable, and made amazing dishes.

At our wedding, her team was attentive, professional, and beyond helpful, while willing to help with things other than just serving food.

Our guests kept going back for seconds because they loved the food so much. And they also made a point to tell us how much they loved the people serving.

Thank you so much for making our event such a memorable one!

Best wedding caterer!

We used Unforgettable Food Affairs to cater our daughter wedding. April and her staff from start to finish did an amazing job! April was very personable, knowledgeable, the tasting was fantastic! Everyone at the wedding talked about how incurable the food was. It"s been 3 months and people still comment on how good the food was. I recommend UFA for any event you need catered.

Delicious food! Great service!

April was great to work with! Takes a while for her to respond to emails or phone calls, but she is extremely sweet and flexible. The food is delicious! The service was phenomenal! The staff graciously packed our kids food up in to-go boxes for them to eat later that night because they were obviously too distracted to want to eat that day!

Great food!

This vendor came as a recommendation to us from Martha at Rand Bryan House. We had the Parmesan chicken, pecan salmon and prime rib carving station, with a mix of cobblers for dessert. April was a beautiful woman to work with from start to finish!! Everyone loved the food and the wait staff was amazing!

April and staff at Unforgettable Food Affairs are just that unforgettable. My son and his wife got married this past weekend. What outstanding, and professional service you provided.

The food was absolutely delicious. No one there, would be able to say, that they did not get enough to eat.

My sister, who I know has eaten at delicious restaurants everywhere, stated that your shrimp and grits were the best she had ever eaten.

Best Food and Service

Working with April was a great experience! She was responsive and open to answering any questions we had. The food was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. We knew as soon as we tried the food at the tasting we were going to use Unforgettable Food. She was flexible and helpful when we changed our wedding day and dramatically shrank the guest list. April and her staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect!

Great staff and delicious food

I could not say enough good things about Unforgettable Food Affairs. April and her team were wonderful to work with. They were very flexible with my last minute guest changes and very easy to work with. The staff at our wedding were pleasant and professional. One word: YUM

Unforgettable Food Affairs truly is unforgettable. We were absolutely blown away at our tasting. The food is INCREDIBLE. April and her staff are SO easy to work with. They truly truly truly care about the people they are providing meals for and you can tell they take pride in what they do.

I have a gluten sensitivity and my mom has celiac- so it was very important that we had gluten friendly options. As soon as we let April know, she was on it. They make pretty much everything from scratch so she was able to give us the ingredients and make sure we knew what was GF and what was not. She was so kind and so thoughtful throughout the tasting process.

Our guests were blown away by the food on the day of our wedding. Most people said they were STUFFED by the end because they didn't want to stop eating. My husband and I completely agree. It was served beautifully and delicious at the same time. From the appetizers to the main course.

At the end of the night the team had a bag of snacks packed up for my husband and I to take home with us. I thought that was SO thoughtful. It was really nice to have some delicious snacks after a long, amazing day.

Thank you so much UFA for everything you did for us. We are SO grateful and are trying to find another event that we can have you cater again. We love your food! :)

Incredible food AND people!!

Not only was April SO great and easy to work with, the number one thing everyone talked about after our wedding was how incredible the food was! Having good food was so important to me on our wedding day, because it seems to be the first thing everyone remembers about the whole day. My in-laws kept saying before the wedding that our tasting was great, but that things get iffy when caterers start cooking for 150+ people. But they were SO WRONG. Everything was just as good on our wedding day as it was at the tasting, if not better! Working with April was such a breeze, and her servers were so accommodating to all of our guests. We couldn't imagine having a better caterer!

Amazing Food and Excellent Service

April and her team are amazing! We had an absolutely wonderful buffet at our reception and beautiful passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. The food was spectacular and the presentation equally impressive. April is super responsive and her catering team was a joy to work with. We received plenty of compliments about dinner and out parents are still raving! We highly recommend hiring Unforgettable Food Affairs.

As a side note, we were also impressed with how well the entire staff handled a very severe food allergy at the bride's family table. Our 8 year old ring bearer would have an anaphylactic reaction if he came into contact with any dairy products, which can be difficult to manage in a situation with this much food and a new environment. The catering staff let him bring his own pre-prepared plate of food and carefully served it to him along with everyone else's dinner, which we so appreciated. April was fantastic to work with regarding this and a couple other minor food sensitivities/allergies, and we are so grateful for her vigilance in food safety measures.

Best wedding food!

April and the Unforgettable Food Affairs group did an amazing job with our wedding. The whole team was organized and reliable, and the food was delicious. April was great to work with and was helpful about our last minute adjustments with guest numbers and adding in a hot cider bar for the ceremony. I would highly recommend this catering team!

The guests raved about the food all night long!

The Best Wedding Food

When choosing a caterer we went to several tastings, with Unforgettable being the second. Immediately we were floored by how good the food was. After trying a few more vendors nobody else came close. When it came time for the wedding April and her team were amazing, even making sure our guests with food allergies, kids, and vegetarians were taken care of. The bacon wrapped filet that was part of our plated meal is probably the best filet I have ever had.

Fine Dining Dinner for your Wedding

I had countless guests come to me during the reception to tell me that the food was THE BEST they had EVER had at a wedding. "It was like fine dining food" is what my brother said and this is so important. It is so obvious that April takes to heart, every detail in your event and strives for Excellence from the presentation, the food and the service she provides. She went above and beyond for our event from making quick, hard decisions about inside or outside due to weather to placing the fresh fruit on the cake herself to make sure we were pleased. Her staff is very professional and even delivered the leftover food to our house because we didn't have enough room in the car to carry it. I would, without a doubt recommend Unforgettable Food Affairs for your wedding or special event.

Highly recommend

We have absolutely no complaints with Unforgettable Food Affairs. We had a buffet style dinner and passed appetizers for 200 people. Everyone was raving about how amazing the food was. April is the absolute nicest person and was so easy to work with. Her pricing is also amazing which is so important when food is the most expensive part of your budget. We looked into several caterers and she was the least expensive and her food was by far better than all the rest. Can't recommend enough!!

April provided hors d'oeuvres and food stations for our daughter's May wedding at The Merrimon-Wynne House. We did tastings with several vendors and selected April based on the selections offered at her tasting --- there was truly no comparison in our minds. Many of our guests went out of their way to compliment the food served at the wedding --- it was wonderful and everything we expected it would be. A wonderful variety of food, beautifully displayed and delicious. We couldn't be more pleased with this choice!

We had the most amazing wedding and every single table and guest told us this was the absolute best food they had every had at a wedding! We agreed. Our wedding was simply magic and April took care of everything to make sure it was perfect. We used only local vendors for everything and everyone, especially April, poured their heart and soul into our wedding, just like we did. It was a truly magical event. We loved Unforgettable Food Affairs for our wedding catering needs. April was so helpful and accommodating since we were an out of state couple. She was very responsive rather it be via phone or email, and she met with my FH for the intial tasting and assisted us in selecting the best meal for our guests. She also catered our rehearsal dinner, and the food was just as great! I hghly highly recommend them, and if I am ever in need of a caterer in the area, it would certainly be them! We selected a plated meal for the reception and a buffet style meal for the rehearsal dinner. Their pricing is also suitable and outstanding for the final product! Our guests are still talking about our food! April and her wonderful team did an amazing job!! We knew the food was going to be super yummy just from our tasting and the service was just as great! Very responsive to emails and phone calls and we touched base multiple times throughout our planning for any questions we had. Oh my word! April and her team provided a meal that was wonderful.....both to see and to eat! There were so many choices to suit any taste, and the hardest part was picking our favorites. The tasting was very relaxed, yet very professional and helpful. Her suggestions were greatly appreciated and showed her experience in providing just the right touches to make a perfect reception meal! A week later, we're still getting compliments on the food.

Unforgettable Food Affairs catered our cocktail hour (served) and reception (buffet style) and they did an absolutely amazing job. The food was absolutely unbelievable - the day after the wedding, my whole family was still talking about it. The staff was attentive - both waitstaff and bartenders. Everything went so smoothly and they did a great job. The staff also made sure that myself and my husband, as well as both sets of parents, were attended to constantly, with a full drink and even got us seconds of food. It also should be noted for brides out there that UFA lets you bring your own alcohol and own cake - something that can help you save a few extra dollars. I loved my experience with April and the whole team at UFA and recommend them to everyone.

Our food was amazing. We did a brunch reception since our ceremony was in the morning. April created a delicious menu that my guests raved about. The cheesy grits were a guest favorite! I even had guests asking if they had a restaurant affiliated with them. Thank you April and team for our delicious brunch!

Perfect. I don't know what else to say about UFA. Our food was absolutely perfect.

My husband and I got to make our own menu, basically anything we dreamed of - they could make!

We met at our tasting with a menu we had put together based on some options we knew they had made in the past. After the tasting, we emailed specific requests and they were happy to oblige!

We are still hearing compliments from guests at our wedding (all 180 of them) about how amazing the food was. It was worth every penny.

I highly recommend UFA for your catering needs and I recommend the mashed potato bar!

I rarely remember wedding food, but after attending a friend’s wedding, I couldn’t forget the spinach stuffed chicken. Flash 3 years later to my wedding day, and me wanting to recreate that experience led me to Unforgettable. From the time I consulted with April and Unforgettable Food Affairs we were met with much professionalism, options, and delicious affordable food. We were looking for a Classic Southern wedding, with Southern food, and Unforgettable Food Affairs nailed it from the Hors d'oeuvre at the cocktail hour, to the dinner. From our delicious shrimp and grit shooters, to the spinach stuffed chicken, our 200 guests absolutely LOVED our food, and so did we! We also had vegetarians and vegans attending our wedding day, and they were easily accommodated with amazing options as well. After our beautiful day, our guests attended an after party where everyone continued to finish what was left of our food until it was gone. For efficient, experienced and quality catering, Unforgettable Food Affairs certainly will not let you down.

Unforgettable Food Affairs provided excellent food, staff, and service! When I first met with April she was so friendly and helpful that I knew right away I wanted to use this vendor. She easily worked within our budget to come up with a menu that worked great for our wedding. This vendor values quality of service over money that they bring in. The food was amazing! My fiance and I were beyond impressed after going to the taste test. The servers were efficient and professional the day of the event and everything went smoothly. They provided for all our serving needs. The appetizer display was unique and beautiful, as well as being delicious. I highly recommend Unforgettable Food Affairs for your catering needs!

Unforgettable Food affairs really was unforgettable. Their staff was great and they helped me work out an affordable plan for my wedding. We did heavy appetizers and it was a huge hit. Everyone could not stop talking about how delicious the food was. They also had the most affordable plan for bar service, which ended up saving us a ton of money. The food at unforgettable is delicious! We went simple with BBQ, potato salad and all those fixins. Everything was great. The waitress were just a nice and the owner was just as lovely. Unforgettable did our rehearsal but I would definitely recommend them for whatever kind of event you're having!

I absolutely loved Unforgettable Food Affairs. It was a pleasure working with the owner April. I could tell everything was going to be perfect from the moment I contacted her through email. She was extremely responsive and very helpful throughout the entire process of the tasting, choosing our menu, making payments, and the actual wedding event.

The catering company has a great variety of food options to choose from. My husband and I picked the assorted cheeses, spinach dip, crackers, and fruit displays for the cocktail hour. They were all beautifully set up and tasted amazing. For dinner, we had a roast beef carving station with assorted sauces, cheese and mushroom stuffed chicken breast, vegetables with sauce, whipped potatoes, and rolls with butter of course. We are STILL receiving compliments about how great the food was on the big day! Just thinking about it is making me hungry right now!

I would HIGHLY recommend using Unforgettable Food Affairs for your wedding day. April really makes it an UNFORGETTABLE experience!

April and her company are great. They treat you like family for the tasting. I felt really special. The food was wonderful. Everyone loved it! They were raving about it for days. Another cool thing is that they let me have all the food. My husband and I ate very well for the week following the wedding. I would use them for another event in a heartbeat. Great service, prices, and delivery. I love these guys! Fantastic Food!

April at Unforgettable Food Affairs did a phenomenal job catering my wedding. Her customer service was outstanding! When I went for the tasting, everything was so good that my fiancé and I had problems narrowing down the menu. Everything we tried was delicious, down to the lemonade. After my wedding, family, friends and co-workers all commented on how good the food was. They also commented on how friendly the staff was. I would definitely recommend Unforgettable Food Affairs to anyone who is looking for a caterer. You will not be disappointed. I fully intend to use Unforgettable Food Affairs in the future for other events I will have. Thank you again April and Staff for everything you did to make my reception a huge success.

April did a phenomenal job catering our wedding. While we were choosing caterers, she was the only one who offered a private tasting, and it delicious. She also sent us home with leftovers, which we eagerly ate the next day!

When it came to planning the menu, she has so many different items to choose from. The appetizers were so good at the tasting that we were sad to miss them during the cocktail hour, and the dinner at the reception was delicious. We've had many, many compliments on the food, and only wish we had more sweet potato mash left over!

April was very flexible with adding a few changes at the last minute like a plated salad and coffee. Her staff did a great job serving at the wedding, and no glass ever went empty.

With Unforgettable Affairs we had the option to purchase our own alcohol and have the staff serve it, which was a huge cost savings. The bartenders were great, and April helped us before the reception with letting us know how much and what to buy.

We loved working with Unforgettable Affairs and only wish we could eat April's food more often!

April was lovely to work with. She cooked our entire meal months before the wedding so we could make any adjustments. She was very responsive to e-mails and super helpful the week before the wedding. Everyone has talked about how delicious the food was! She also sent home all of the leftovers with my family and gave us a bridal basket to take with us for our wedding night. I highly suggest using Unforgettable Food Affairs! We were well taken care of!

We were blown away by Unforgettable Food Affairs! Their food is by far the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding. I have gotten SO many compliments on our wedding food! My husband and I actually got to eat at our wedding because the wonderful waitstaff delivered us plates from the buffet and made sure we always had a full drink. You cannot get better food or a better value anywhere in the triangle. April and her team were awesome to work with. I highly recommend them!!

April's food is so delicious that my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. And it was just as good at the wedding as it was at the tasting. So many guests commented on how fantastic it was. April's staff is also wonderful. I created a napkin fold I wanted done at the wedding and she had me come teach her staff how to do it. They also agreed, and were even excited, to wear cerise bowties I had rented for them to match the wedding colors. They were friendly and efficient. My venue was flipped in no time and they were great about clearing the tables and asking if anyone needed anything. I couldn't imagine a better caterer.

April and her team provided the most delicious spread of food for our wedding reception buffet. She went out of her way to provide options for our gluten-free and food-allergy guests. EVERYONE commented that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and I have to agree! April invited us for a tasting before we signed a contract with her, and the food was just unbelievably yummy! She was very easy and pleasant to work with, as was her staff on the wedding day. I can't say enough great things about Unforgettable Food Affairs!! Definitely recommend!

April was so accomadating it was amazing!!! This was the best price for the what we got which was a lot of food and gorgeous set up. I honestly cannot think of one thing I would change. The menu was flexible, the food was to die for, all my guests enjoyed the feast.

WOW! In a word, April was fantastic to work with, and the food really was unforgettable! So many guests at our daughter's wedding came to us to comment on how delicious everything was, that we realized what an impact the food made on everyone. After our initial tasting, April adjusted sauces and doneness to our preferences, and everything was absolutely wonderful! Professional service, prompt responses, great pricing, delicious food. Would highly recommend.

April is fantastic!! She was wonderful to work with, the food was delicious, the buffet display was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and professional. They showed up on time and had everything ready to go by the time the guests arrived. UFA created an amazing custom menu for our wedding, blending aspects of both Southern food and Jamaican food. They nailed it! Everyone loved the food - even our pickiest family members. UFA gave us great value and allowed us to customize our wedding menu without breaking the bank. From creating our menu to the tasting to the wedding day, we loved working with UFA.

I LOVED these guys. We decided to use them for our wedding. They were not just affordable - it was a value. The food was fantastic. We had a buffet and guests were STILL talking about how great it was weeks after the wedding.

The amount of food is prepared perfectly, they presentation was beautiful, and everything was handled with perfect timing. We got married during Hurricane Irene and had to change to the rain plan with earlier set up, and nothing was out of place. I would recommend April and Unforgettable Food Affairs to anyone.

Unforgettable Food Affairs catered our cocktail hour (served) and reception (buffet style). The food was excellent. April helped us coordinate a menu that worked well for the summer and combined some traditional NC foods (we had a lot of guests coming from out of town who had never been to NC) with options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, as well as children. Also, they boxed up the extra food for us to take home.

the menu selection was great for the price range, they were very flexible about all options for food, dinnerware, and glasses. on the day, they were on time and the food looked great. their staff cleared the plates and cut my wedding cake, which was really nice and helpful.

Friendly staff

Some items better than others. Try a variety before choosing. some of the less traditional items are better quality and more enjoyable. Friendly staff. Lots of variety to choose from to meet anyones needs. appropriate quality for price.

My only issue with this vendor was that I needed multiple quotes because my budget changed and my guest list was constantly changing. I was never told there was a limit on these so as issues came up I reworked some stuff and requested a new one (annoying yes but it's automated so I didn't think it was a big deal). Eventually we were told "This is getting ridiculous." From then on I had to seek out the details of the day and when I got them they were still vauge. I do wish the communication leading up to the day of the wedding was better, I was kind of in the situation of just hoping for the best.

Luckily the day of the wedding went amazing. The catering staff was fabulous and made sure I ate, they even packed a big basket of leftovers and sent it with us in our car. Everything was cleaned up, drinks were quickly served, and they were so helpful before the ceremony, making sure we had snacks/iced down drinks. We did heavy hor'devours and everyone said they tasted great, a few people even took leftovers since we had so much left.

The food was absolutely amazing and the guests talked about how tastey it was days after! The only problem that I had with them was that they are very busy and sometimes hard to meet with.

It saddens me to write this review, as I had a very positive experience until the wedding day. April was great to plan with and definitely worked with our budget. I will start by saying that the food was delicious. Here are a few of the issues that we had at the reception...
Many guests did not receive cake that night. We have a full tiered layer and sheet cake left over. Guests were told that the cake was gone? Guests also saw staff boxing up cake in small togo boxes. Also, I had multiple guests share that they heard the lead caterer yelling at the staff during the reception. This made our wedding reception very uncomfortable for many guests.
We contacted April a few days later and she was very disrespectful, denying that these things happened. I'm still confused as to how we "ran out of cake" but have a whole layer and sheet cake left over?
I would not recommend this caterer. If you're looking for just good food, do it. However, if you want a positive experience and guests to feel comfortable and taken care of at the reception, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
