It is now two days before my wedding in which we scheduled the installation of the hair so that on the wedding day she could just style . I arrive on time (7:00 am) only to learn the shop was closed . I sent an email after 10 minutes in the parking lot to which an assistant responded to my email “she had to drop a family member off at school and she would arrive 20 minutes late “. Not only did she arrive 30 minutes late, but there was no apology or even acknowledgment of her lateness. But to add insult to injury she also STARTED SERVICING ANOTHER CLIENT when she was only halfway through my own. Enough is enough ! I did speak up about this given that I was now running late to all other wedding errands (e.g nails , family flying into town) because she arrived late .
The Wedding Day : I guess this was to be expected . Of course she arrived late. After starting my hair she then asked for the wifi so that she could complete work for an online class. While she is on her laptop, my makeup artist reminds her that in order to complete the makeup she needed the hair to be finished . It was at this point , she finishes the hair and makeup was able to finish her job . Naturally, I am now running behind to the venue and the photographer had to cut down on the pictures he could take because of this .
I cannot stress this enough : I DO NOT RECOMMEND Unblevable Hair . There are many bridal beauticians in Houston and on your wedding day you want to choose the one who not only can do hair but also adds no additional stress !

The only grievance you can have is me showing up late to your original appt due to me having to take my nephew to school last min. It was out of my control and I was the only one available to do so. Which I apologized in email for. (I sent a copy to WEDDING WIRE)
I was not servicing another client while you were in my chair, I went to greet my client and explain to her that I was running behind due to me dropping my nephew off. That’s what a professional does. Just like I communicated to you I was doing so to her.
Your wedding took place Sept 2, 2023 and you have not once said you had a problem with the services I rendered. Not an email , phone call or even text message or DM. But come on here to defame me. You put up pictures of yourself smiling on your day. If you were in such a rush why are you happy with your end result ?! Why am I just hearing about your displeasure now?
I was not late to your wedding date. As stated originally in our emails your ready time (fully dressed) on your contract was for 12pm. You also had an extra person on your invoice. Originally arrival time to setup was for 7am. I factored in your hair (7:30am -9:30am) , Bridal party (9:30-10:30), your makeup (9:30am -11:00am), getting dressed (11am-12pm). Like I always do with every bride. But you relayed to me that I was only servicing you on the day and that you actually needed to be in the makeup chair by 1pm. (In email sent to WEDDING WIRE) So evidently the time line changed to me arriving at 9:30am and starting you by 10am. Which I have a time stamped video that I sent to WEDDING WIRES EMAIL that shows I was there on time.
After I was done with your hair 12:30pm, you were in the chair at 1pm and the only thing pinned up was your bang, so it’s out the way and the makeup artist can do her job. Yes I asked for Wi-Fi, that’s not a crime. I was done with your hair for the time being. I am on course to apply for medical school so any down time I have I take it to finish work. I like to be productive, since you changed last min and I was only doing your hair. I always communicate to the makeup artist I’m working with to let me know when they are done with powder so I can take the bang down. That is exactly what Nikkifaces did. Like we always do because we’ve worked together so many times. This might have been your first wedding but it was not mine. If you were running behind it wasn’t because of me because I started and completed your hair on time.
You say you don’t recommend but your pictures say other wise. You look real happy in them especially the one with me behind you.
