Amazing DJ!

We had such a great experience with Ultimate Sounds, specifically Cory and Matt. They were very easy on the planning side and Matt was great from an execution standpoint. We had no challenges at all and the dancefloor was full the entire night. Thank you thank you!

Amazing DJ and AWESOME online planning form!

We hired Ultimate Sounds off a referral from a friend and we are so glad we did! Consider this your "referral from a friend" review. Pricing is great (not the cheapest or the most expensive). The online planning form was SO WONDERFUL giving you all the info you need to take some time to pick the songs you want (and songs you didn't even think of needing!), and they also provide tons of song suggestions on their website as well - SO HELPFUL! Our reception was a blast! People were up dancing ALL NIGHT (including me!). Aside from the specific songs needed for certain parts of the event, we let them do their thing - taking requests and also playing a bunch of what they wanted. Very easy to work with, great planning tools, and great service before and during our reception. Definitely recommend Ultimate Sounds!

Best Company Around

My husband and I don't have words for how happy we were with Ultimate Sounds. We booked Dj, Officiant and Photo Booth services and all were absolutely phenomenal.
Lee was our Dj and we couldn't ask for a better turn out. He kept the party and dancing going until the very end of the night. There were constantly people on the dance floor and it was always packed. I also had a suuper last minute song change for Father Daughter dance, he had already called my Dad up to dance, and I asked him to change the song and without skipping a beat, he did. Just amazing all around.

Cory was our Officiant and he was amazing. The ceremony was everything we wanted and more. Absolutely perfect.

The Photo Booth service, such a great idea! Everyone loved taking pictures and they gave us a book with all the photos taken in it as well, and guests were able to right a little message for us.

If you are considering Ultimate Sounds - BOOK THEM!!!
Best decision. I will be recommending them to everyone I know 💛

Amazing Experience!

My husband and I were so impressed with Cory from Ultimate Sounds! We had a meeting with him a few weeks before our wedding, and he was so personable and thorough! He did such an amazing job on our wedding day! Every song transition was perfect and he kept it fun! He was even able to get some relatives that don't enjoy dancing on the dance floor! I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!

Best DJ ever!

Lee was our DJ for our wedding this past weekend and guests are still telling us how great he was! Multiple people came up to us to tell us that he was the best DJ they have ever seen at a wedding. I even had someone reach out to ask if we could get the playlist for their own wedding! There wasn’t one point the whole night that the dance floor was clear. We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding so much fun and being so accommodating when we had to switch venues! We wish we could relive that night over and over again.

Very professional and provided great entertainment

They did an excellent job. We literally arrived at the wedding and he took it from there. He announced things, kept things moving, and we never had to worry about a thing. The music kept the dance floor full all night. We could not have asked for any better entertainment.

Amazing DJ!

Ultimate sounds was recommended to us by our venue (Solitude Links), and they were one of the best decisions we made! Cory kept everything running smoothly and on time, and surpassed all of my expectations! He kept the party going all night and did such a great job and keeping the dance floor full. We got so many compliments about how great our DJ was, and have already recommended them to other couples getting married soon! Cory is amazing at his job, 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Best DJ ever!

Cory and his team were recommended to us by two of my friends, I had already experienced them at a wedding as a guest, and we were excited!! From the very first meeting we liked him. Then a couple months before our wedding we had to postpone. He worked with us every step of the way and just DJ’d our wedding finally!!! We had so many compliments and if it wasn’t for Cory we would not have had the turnout on the dance floor we had. I honestly am so thankful for him and how good he is! We had the best wedding because of him and his team! Everyone loved the photo booth too! I highly recommend ultimate sounds!

Dance Floor was packed!!

Most brides worry about the flowers, etc. I was so concerned about the music. I spent so much time crafting the best playlists but there was no need. Cory listened to our preferences, took some of our requests, and kept the dance floor going all night. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The process of booking and providing info to the DJ was also very easy and convenient. Highly recommend!

DJ Robbie was great! He was on time, very professional, not one of those "talks all night long" kind of DJ's, and everyone was on the dance floor all night long. He kept us on track for the day, and came to ask the bride or groom if he had any questions the day of which was great. The website Ultimate Sounds uses is super easy and makes sure everything is planned beforehand. Super reasonable prices, too. Great customer service.

I had Ultimate Sounds at my wedding a month ago and everything was perfect. Our DJ Matt Gossman had a hard job of keeping everyone dancing per our request but he did just that. Everyone danced all night and loved the photo booth too. Would highly recommend!

Cory is the best DJ ever. He is extremely professional and was awesome at our wedding. He did the sound for the ceremony and reception. The DJ is one of the most important parts of your wedding since they are in charge of the entire process of events. Therefore, you need to hire a professional like Cory to make sure your big day runs smoothly and perfectly! Cory is incredible!!!!!

Corey was insanely prepared. He was my favorite out of all of my vendors, everyone in the crowd danced all night. He wasn’t cheesy at all and he made our wedding absolutely wonderful!

They were honestly amazing, and Robbie played hit after hit. Your dj sets the mood, so it’s extremely important to have someone who knows what to play, and who has personality. I’m so happy with both Cory and Robbie that I will be booking them again for future events! They were honestly one of the best companies I’ve ever worked with, and I’m thankful I went with them on such a stressful day.

Our wedding was on August 25, 2017 at the War Memorial in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. Our DJ, Lee, was absolutely incredible. The dance floor was full the entire night and Lee was able to continuously pull people out onto the floor with his unique mixes and ability to read the crowd. He started out with music that got the older crowd dancing and then subtly moved into more contemporary, while still keeping all ages happy. I had several people come up to me throughout the course of the night and compliment me on my DJ choice. Additionally, I had several people ask me who the DJ was in case they needed a DJ in the future. All things considered Lee was top notch.

In addition to the reception, Lee also provided the music for the ceremony. Again, I had nothing but compliments about the music that was playing during the seating and the ceremony itself. All of the music was exactly what we were looking for and matched the environment we were trying to create perfectly. The sound was great and the transitions were perfect.

Ultimate Sounds also provided the uplighting and the photo booth. The photo booth was a great addition that kept people happy and gave them something additional to do. We received a book of all the photos after the wedding that had us smiling the entire time was went through it. The uplighting was also a very nice touch and matched the colors we wanted perfectly.

As a whole, I could not be happier with my choice of company. I met with Cory and Lee a few days before the wedding and it was apparent to me from the start that they cared and took pride in what they did. This company is very professional and follows through on all of the promises they make. Out of all of my guests, there was not a single complaint and people truthfully went out of their way to compliment my choice of DJ. I would recommend this company to anyone. As I told Lee after the ceremony, "They absolutely killed it".

We had Cory and he was amazing! He really knows how to read a crowd and he had everyone dancing all night. He went above and beyond on our wedding day by going to CVS to pick up some medicine for my husband's bee sting (that he got during our ceremony)! We also had Cory officiate our wedding. We loved the personalized ceremony and humor in it. We definitely recommend Ultimate Sounds DJs and would hire them again!

Great DJ service all around. Sound system was top notch, his hosting of ceremony events, as well as his music selection were all great. Cory was also very flexible in working out the details as we moved toward the event. Great vendor.

Corey is the best if the best! He was not only our DJ, but our officiant as well. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful! From the music to the vows it was perfect. At the reception, our guests had a blast. The music choice was great and he made it a ton of fun for all ages! I highly recommend them for anyone's wedding :)

Ultimate Sounds has been in the St Clair County area for years. They also go out of St Clair County. However, several people have asked "I am looking for a DJ...do you know one?" Before they finish their sentence I always tell them "Ultimate Sounds".

Cory is the owner and one of the DJ's. I have probably been to 15+ events/weddings where he has DJ'd, including my own wedding on July 30, 2016. Cory dedicates himself on being professional and is very knowledgably. Your DJ basically runs your event/wedding. So choose wisely! You will NEVER go wrong with Ultimate Sounds DJs.

Now I know how much weddings cost because mine was very recent. I even told Cory months ago when he told me my quote (including extra 2 hours and the photo booth) and I told him "Wow that is cheap...". But, cheap doesn't reflect his service. He provides a service that should cost a few thousand.

I could keep going on and on about this company, but I think you get the drift. Book them now...you won't regret them! Trust me!

DJ Bob was excellent in keeping our evening on track. He added suggestions to make our event even better than we hoped. The set up with the ceremony and receptions was great. Your website made it easy to outline what we wanted to include and not include, and DJ Bob included everything we asked for. Our guests were very pleased with the song selections and stayed on the dance floor the entire night. Great job!

Our Dj did a great job on our wedding, from the ceremony to the reception! Our guests were out dancing right away and everyone had a wonderful time! Ultimate sounds are the very best at what they do and their online planning forms helped me plan the perfect music for every part of our wedding from ceremony to announcing wedding party, cake cutting, etc. Our Dj looked elegant and classy and was very personable. Months later our guests are still commenting on how much fun they had!

Amazing, absolutely amazing! Cory went above and beyond our expectations and we could not be happier with choosing Ultimate Sounds as our DJ! Cory played music before and during our ceremony and it was magical. He kept the dance floor full all night long and really knew how to blend a variety of songs! Cory was awesome! I have been to several weddings that he has been the DJ & knew there was no one I would rather have. Although we were not totally organized and left everything up to his professional opinion, and I could not have been more happy! Ultimate Sounds was amazing to work with! Their online tools allows you to choose songs for your reception which was a lot of fun to get my wedding party involved!
They answered any questions I had quickly and never made me feel like I was a crazy bride! The night of my wedding was amazing and they did such an awesome job! I barely left the dance floor all night because of how much fun my guests were having on the dance floor! It's been almost three months since my wedding day and I still get compliments from friends and family on how awesome the DJ was! I will ALWAYS recommend them!

Ultimate Sounds was recommended to us by a friend and also by our reception vendor. Cory personally worked with us prior to the reception to make sure everything was all set! He was flexible with working with us to have phone meetings and mail our flash drive to him for the slideshow, as we are living out of the area. Cory provided the DJ services and slideshow and we also had the photobooth, which was so much fun and the guests loved it! Both Cory and his staff were great, RELIABLE, and definitely kept the party going!! We would highly recommend Ultimate Sounds!!

Ultimate Sounds DJ was so amazing at our wedding. They did the ceremony music, karaoke, and djing. So many guests came up to me and told me how amazing Corey was and get his business card to book him for other services. I love that we could pick our songs online through their website and indicate what we didn't want either. So great. I would recommend their services to everyone!

My husband and I had hired corey ( the owner of ultimate sounds) to dj at our wedding after we had heard him play at two other weddings. Corey is very flexible and is willing to work with you. We had a package deal of up-lighting, dj, and a photobooth. The photobooth was a total hit and at the end of the night we were given a book of all the pictures that were taken with notes from the guests next to the pictures for a memorabilia gift which we loved! Very reasonable prices

I had the opportunity to work with Cory and he was amazing!!! He did my ceremony along with my reception and the night couldn't of been more perfect! I highly recommend Ultimate Sounds as your choice in DJ's!!!

I highly recommend Dale from ultimate sounds. He was perfect for our wedding! We wanted a DJ who would interact with our guests and keep the party going.....Dale was perfect! He did a great job n everyone had a blast! We had them do pyro for our entrance and it was the coolest thing I've ever seen! We had 9' tall bursts of pyro going off when we were announced. It was amazing!! The photo booth was a huge hit with the guests. Everyone had a blast....hands down this was our guests favorite part.

Ultimate Sounds was amazing. They let you fill out all forms online and have an extensive database of music. You can create your whole song list by yourself, or give a few guidelines and let them do the rest. They let you list certain songs/artists that you do not want played, and they stick to it. I would recommend adding a few must have songs and songs you don't want and let them do the rest because they can gauge the crowd better than you think you can. Plus, half the night you are so busy, you don't have time to think about the music. The reviews from my guests was all very positive. The DJ is very professional and I would highly recommend them!

My husband and I had the privilege of having Cory from Ultimate Sounds as the DJ for our June 15th, 2013 wedding at Fore Lakes Golf Club. Ultimate Sounds provided ceremony sound, reception entertainment, and a photo booth for our wedding. Cory was an excellent choice for our event. I had chosen him based on seeing him at several other events at my place of work, and I am confident that he is the best in the area by far! My husband and met with Cory 1 time before the wedding, after filling out his detailed DJ planner available on his website with all of our choices so that he could ask questions and confirm how we wanted for things to go. The most important thing to me in a DJ was that I, my groom, or anyone else not have to make sure that the night kept moving and with Cory, that was never even a though. He flawlessly moves through the wedding day from one event/dance to another, without disrupting the bride and groom even once. Our guests had a blast (so did we!) and we heard lots of positive comments regarding the dj and music choices from our reception. We also rented a photo booth from Ultimate Sounds and that turned out to be a HUGE hit with our guests! There was an attendant present all night to put together a memory scrapbook as the night went along, and there were tons of fun favors included as well. I would definitely recommend Ultimate Sounds to others and will certainly contact them in the future for any photobooth/dj needs. Thanks, Cory!

Cory did an awesome job for our wedding. He is so professional, and is very, very good at what he does. He kept our guests entertained, dancing all night, and he really understood what we were going for and kept our party going all night, even after the lights came on! We would recommend him to anyone, and is very reasonably priced. Thanks Cory! You made our wedding rock!!

I just got married a couple of weeks ago and my DJ Cory was awesome. He followed through with everything that I wanted from the organization of the wedding party, to the music for cocktail hour and dinner. He went at a pace that matched how our speeches were going and played the required songs that he could. I definitely would recommend his services and plan to recommend him to my friends and family. I called up Ultimate Sounds when my other DJ I was meeting with failed to show up for my initial meeting. I asked them if they could meet me that day and an hour later I was at Corey's house talking about their company. Ultimate Sounds made everything so simple, from making payments online, to writing out who was going to be where and doing what, to allowing me to make changes day of! Robby who was our DJ for the wedding was very accommodating to my requests - I asked for no remixes and only mix music when the song is changing - done. I asked for him to start playing newer music as the older crowd was dwindling away - done. I was very happy with the song selections and the dance floor was filled all night long. Ultimate Sounds also allowed us to do karaoke at the end of the night and it was a huge hit. They had a pretty decent selection of music, and had the one song I requested the day before, so I was happy. Would definitely recommend them for other brides in the area. Oh and the price is one of the best I was able to get in the area for how many hours we were doing.

Cory and Ultimate Sounds are well known in my hometown for providing great DJ services, so we were quick to try and book him. He was sometimes hard to reach, but overall provided exceptional service, and our meeting with him before the wedding was fun and relaxing. He was extremely flexible when it came to our wedding, which is the reason I recommend him most, especially given his prices. He had agreed to provide audio for our vows for us in either the gazebo or hall depending on where it took place, and as of 5:00 (our start time) it was still uncertain where we would be due to the weather. Given our situation, he ended up having to set up both indoors and outdoors, and was seen running between the 2 sites with his speakers multiple times. We ended up outdoors in windy weather, but the sound quality was amazing, and the fact that he was willing to set up the microphone services (not a part of his DJ duties) was extremely appreciated. The reception was wonderful, and he was interactive with the crowd but not to the point of being obnoxious, and many guests commented on the great music.

This isnt really a review. I recently attended the policemans ball at maniacis hospitality house in RIchmond a coup;le weekends ago. FIrst let me say , I loved your choice of music, which Ive been to other functions and heard your service perform. Which is why, when I seen the bag with dj service on it I place 6 tickets in the bag. I thought, this would be great, since my youngest daughter is getting married and will need a dj if I win. Now I wasnt aware this wasnt a free thing at all, I didnt know I had to purchase something to get something. I was very excited when my number was called when I won. Two days later when I opened the envelope, I read free photo booth when I purchase a dj service. I would of never of put my tickets in for that. I'm sorry, just feel like I was cheated. I would have put my tickets in other things, like the basket of liquor, which I'm sure you didnt have to buy the basket to get the liquor.

Working with Cory and Ultimate Sounds was an easy process. They found all the correct versions of the songs we wanted, didn't play the songs we didn't want to hear, and were very flexible with package options. A photobooth was also included with DJ services.

After supposedly being "THE BEST" Dj in Port Huron. I was extremely disappointed. I had pre-picked songs I definately wanted to hear that I did not...and the Dj listened to a "family member" for the selection/choice of songs -- which were stuck in the early-mid 90's, not really my husband and I's type of music...I couldn't understand why he wasn't following the sheet of 30+ songs I had written out to play... Plus I had booked the Dj service almost 10 months in advance and requested a Dj that I knew who worked within the company-and did not recieve that requested Dj...very disappointing.
For the simple things we requested and did not get, the money was waaaaaaaaayyyyy too much for about three hours of music playing..

Booked him for a family August wedding... I have no clue what music list he was playing... might of been his own. He was given multiple list requests... some of the wedding guests complained to me about his music... hardly any music from brides/family lists played. Plus I had to remind him several times about the few songs I requested he did play.. polite guy, but I wouldn't use this service again.
