Absolutely AMAZING!! My DJ dropped out on me 44 hours before my event and this company came through for me. I sent a blast of texts/emails from 9-11 pm on Thursday night and by noon on Friday, I had booked a fabulous DJ (lucky they had a cancellation.) Not only was the music great - everyone had the BEST time - but I (mother of the bride) did not have to worry one little bit about anything. They ran the whole show, kept everything on schedule, even took the time to make sure I was present and paying attention for the important events (f/d dance, cake cutting, etc.) WONDERFUL!!

When it came time to plan for my wedding, I was dreading finding a DJ. Most of my friends had a friend of theirs "monitor the music" during the reception (i.e. didn't have a DJ) or had an ipod on shuffle. The first post-college years are rough on the wallets.

So I turned to trusty Yelp. I happened across DJ Dean and was intrigued by his full 5-star rating. Why were people so obsessed with him?

When you meet him, you understand why. DJing and putting on insanely awesome events is literally his passion. Your wedding is not just another job for him; it's a chance for him to make you as the bride/groom look great because your wedding is kick-ass and for him to have a blast doing it.

I can't think of how my wedding could have gone any better and at least 85% of that was thanks to Dean and how smoothly he made everything go. Comments heard during/after the wedding:
"Your DJ is AWESOME." (At least five times)
"All the music is so good!!"
"Everything flowed really smoothly, like there were no super long awkward times that usually happen at weddings like between cocktail hour and eating or whatever."
"There have been literally no bad songs this guy plays....."

You think a DJ is someone that just plays music? Wrong. If your DJ is good, he/she will do 10x that, and Dean did at least 23x that. I cannot recommend him enough!

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT DEAN!!

Dean is so much more than just a DJ. He can easily run the whole reception if you’d like him to, making everything flow smoothly, interacting appropriately with the guests without drawing too much attention to himself, making everyone feel welcome and involved, timing everything just right, being flexible about any adjustments you may want to make along the way, and making your guests laugh out loud many times with his great sense of humor and fun activities. A comment I heard from numerous guests is that he practically felt like family to them by the time the reception was over.

Dean is very detail oriented, and you can tell that he genuinely cares about you and wants everything to be perfect for the bride and groom’s special day. He is never controlling but has so many good suggestions and ideas to make the reception meaningful, very fun, and tailored to the taste of the bride and groom as much as possible. His online tools are very helpful and easy to use.

I promise you will not be disappointed if you hire Dean. In fact, you may end up hearing from many of your guests “that was definitely one of the best weddings I have ever been to”. I will recommend Dean without question to anyone looking for a fantastic DJ for their wedding day. He is as good as they get!

We were so fortunate to have Dean Hall of Ultimate Events partner with us for our daughter's wedding reception at Orange Hill Restaurant. He is an excellent listener with a very upbeat and friendly personality, and his experience, demeanor, music, and creative ideas enhanced our reception greatly. Dean has a wonderful 'what to do list' and 'need to know information list' that he gives to each client as well as song lists that allowed us to listen to the music, and make personalized selections. He also provided beautiful uplighting and disco lighting. He is very detail-oriented and with all the information he obtained in our meetings and through email communications, he MC'd the reception in the classy and fun manner we hoped for. Dean Hall is a true DJ artist who never made the reception about himself, but instead, centered the entire evening around the celebration and the celebrants of our daughter and new son-in-law's wedding reception. Thank you, Dean, for a perfect evening beyond our expectations. We are so glad we found you - and while we have no more weddings to plan, when we have other parties requiring a DJ, you will be our only choice! Thank you!

Best dj ever!

DJ Dean Hall was amazing to work with right from the beginning! He was a recommendation from our wedding coordinator, Diana Hutchinson, from The Griffith House. My husband and I love to go to trivia nights and wanted to incorporate that into our wedding so Diana directed us immediately to Dean! Our guests LOVED the games he had and they made for some amazing, hilarious photos! He also knew how to work the crowd, when to play more games or when to start the dancing. He is very organized and made sure that things kept moving along and on schedule. He played our ceremony music perfectly! We chose three different songs to blend together for the procession and he did that with ease. We mostly listen to indy/alt rock music and he had no problem getting those songs and played exactly what we wanted. The dance lighting was perfect for the reception and photographs PLUS he was open to special requests from guests! We booked early and were able to make monthly payments which worked beautifully for our budget! Dean made us feel confident and ready for our big day from day one. DJ Dean was one of our top compliments from the wedding. Guests, and even our photographer, raved about him days after the wedding!

DJ Dean at Ultimate Events is the best DJ around! Our first meeting lasted over 3 hours, the whole time talking and laughing. I felt so comfortable with him and trusted his every move during the planning of our reception. He has great ideas planned throughout the evening and was able to keep all of our guests engaged and laughing. We were told by so many guests afterwards that our wedding was one of the best wedding they had been to. I honestly believe his involvement in our wedding made it the fun night it was. He truly made our special day one that we will forever cherish.

Dean was absolutly amazing! I got so many compliments on my choice for DJ. Alot of my friends had been married before me, so they were jealous that my wedding was better than theirs because of my choice of DJ. He really put in extra effort to make sure our wedding day was perfect. He even had some fun special games and touches that my husband and I did not know about, but they deffenitly did add extra fun to our event. If you want someone who will go the extra mile every time, pick Dean. His company is number one by far. The whole Ultimate Event staff is number one. Dawn was a pleasure to corrispond with and also went the extra mile to get as much information about our event and music selction to make sure what we wanted to be played was. Thank you so much for your amazing help!!!!!

BEST DJ EVER!!!!!

When planning my wedding I found Ultimate Events on Yelp. They were rated number one so I set up a appointment with Dean to get more information. He had a ton of useful suggestions and had a great & friendly personality - I knew right away I wanted to book him as our wedding DJ.

He emailed me links to fill out forms related to information he needed about my wedding which included lists of songs and suggestions. It was organized and helpful in the chaos of wedding planning.

He had great suggestions while still listening to me and helping me plan exactly what I wanted on my big day.

He was so organized and basically acted as my wedding planner. He was one step ahead of me with what I needed on my wedding day and kept me informed through out the night about what was going on. So entertaining and interactive with the guests.

I could go on and on about how amazing he made my wedding day. Almost all my guests said my wedding was the most fun EVER and DJ Dean was a huge reason why!

Many of my friends said they will use him for future events and I would recommend him to anyone!!! THE BEST EVER!!!! I am extremely happy I used him as my DJ, worth every penny spent!!!

My husband and I hired Dean without even meeting him (we lived far away from where we were getting married). Once you talk to him, you'll understand why. From our first conversation, Dean convinced us that he is made for this job: he is not only gregarious, outgoing, and kind, but he is also very creative and intuitive. He led every discussion we had, knowing just the kinds of questions to ask in order to get to know my husband, me, and our guests. He had a set of very detailed forms that allowed us to be sure that our requests and our style would be catered to at the wedding.

Sure enough, Dean delivered - old people and young people alike were laughing, even yelling, over the trivia and other games Dean was integrating seamlessly into the night while my husband and I frantically tried to visit everyone. There were even people that I tried to say hello to that told me, "wait wait, I have to win this game first!" Sign of a good time: people don't even want to say hello to the bride! I was so relieved.

Dean also suggested was to bring lotto tickets as prizes for these trivia games. One of our guests won $700! Once again, Dean delivered something totally unexpected that I will remember forever.

Dean started off the night with some older music (you know, the stuff that your parents can't believe you're calling "old"). I was AMAZED at how many non-20 or 30-somethings were on the dance floor. Even when Dean moved into top-20 music, those people stayed! I never expected that. He took requests from our guests without deviating from what my husband and I had told him we wanted; he recognized birthdays, anniversaries; incorporated trivia about my husband and me in dismissing tables to eat; checked in with my husband and me about timing and was flexible every step along the way; anand, most importantly, the party bumped the ENTIRE night.

I could never have hoped for such an amazing DJ experience. You won't regret hiring Dean for any event.

Ultimate events was the best choice I made when considering a DJ for my wedding which was on Nov 11, 2017 .....Dj Dean was the one I met up with iintially but after all the details were taken care I had the pleasure of having Dj Steven.... He was attentive, professional, and knew just how to keep my guests entertained he was amazing and I will definitely use him and Ultimate events if ever needed for an event. Our photographer recommended Dean to us. He was awesome!!! By the time the wedding reception was over, everyone was talking about how great the DJ was. He was so accommodating and entertaining the whole way. Loved his fun filled games and even got my whole family to dance the electric slide. Dean is great at what he does and I would totally recommend him for any event. He was a pleasure to have. Thank you Dean for making our wedding reception a great one! :)

Dean was just plain awesome at our wedding! We heard nothing but, "wow, what a great DJ!". His games were a blast and kept everyone entertained while we were busy greeting our guests. Our wedding just wouldn't have been the same with a different DJ. One of the best choices you can make for wedding vendors is choosing Dean as your DJ. You really won't regret it. Everything he says... rock bottom truth! Honestly, there's no going wrong with Ultimate Events.

I wrote a previous review after Dean did my daughter's wedding; however this time he played at our company's Christmas party. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely at the party; but I want to tailor this review to illustrate how he was to work with prior to the event.

I used to live in the Long Beach area, and this is where our company is located. Several months ago, I moved to Charlotte, NC but I work remotely for our company. I was assigned the task of arranging for our company's Christmas party, and I did not get these marching instructions until late October. I immediately called Dean and he recommended several venues where he had performed previously. Obviously, I was not available to meet with him except by phone -- and our company had never used a DJ/Emcee at a company event -- this would be a first. Since this change was involved, I received some static from people who seemed to be opposed to change or had a fear of the unknown. Dean helped me to navigate these difficult waters. A few weeks before the event (everything was in a holding pattern due to the static I was experiencing) a decision was made to change the night of the party -- but almost everything was booked in the area. Dean gave me the dates he was available and I worked around them. We were able (through Dean) to secure a venue, and he did a conference call with the local employees which helped put them at ease. In the end, I received feedback that this was the best Christmas party our company has held. As always, he used uplights which set the mood, had a great icebreaker, several engaging games, and he was able to fill the dance floor!

So I want to say Dean was "ABSOLUTELY AWFUL" so others will not book him and he will always be available for my needs -- but I cannot do that -- Dean is great! The truth is I could not have carried off this successful function without him! If I am involved in the future, we will be using Dean!

First of all I just want to say we are 100% thrilled with Deans performance. I first saw Dean in action about 5 years ago at my Aunts wedding and I remember thinking if I ever get married I want him to be my Dj, and I am so grateful I was able to find him again. It was an honor to have him, from the beginning of our ceremony to the end of the night he had everything going so smooth. He keep our guests on their feet and he made EVERYTHING memorable. Truly the ultimate DJ + Emcee!

DJ Dean checked off all the boxes we were looking for and more! Highly recommend him for dual DJ + Emcee services, everything was super smooth with him from as early as wedding planning process to the special day itself. Dean did his best to not just present himself as a DJ + emcee, but also to carefully plan out the agenda of the wedding, working closely with our coordinator to have a detailed timeline with specific songs (and even timeframes for some songs) playing exactly as my wife and I had envisioned them to play.

When it came time for reception fun and games, we let Dean have creative liberty over how he would like to keep the crowd engaged during dinnertime, and all of his suggestions and implementations were a hoot! We could really rest at east and enjoy the night's events knowing Dean had it all smoothly handled, and our guests had a blast with every activity.

So honored to have had Dean at our wedding!

Dean is an amazing DJ! My husband and I felt comfortable with him from the start. We had a great in-depth consultation with him maybe 6-7 months prior. He was thorough and explained everything to us and gave us great tips and advice. We ended up using him for lighting and photobooth and our slideshow projector.

So that was the initial meeting. Throughout the time leading up to the wedding, he kept in touch, tied up loose ends, and then talked to us before the wedding as well to get his timeline down. We went through pronunciations and pretty much every step of the wedding. My wedding coordinator even complimented him to me on how prepared and detailed he was.

The wedding itself was perfect. He was a great MC and kept the crowd on its feet. There was this adorable wedding game that he had my husband and I play, which we knew nothing about. I had no idea what was going on when he had us sit in the center of the floor, but even now, some of my friends think that was the cutest part of the wedding since it was spontaneous, to us at least.

He has that perfect MC/DJ house, an upbeat personality, and is just a nice guy. Our family and friends had a blast dancing the night away, and everyone left happy. I'm so thankful to Dean for making my night so magical =)

Dean from Ultimate Events was absolutely AMAZING!! He kept our wedding going, nonstop. According to our guests, there was never a dull moment. So many times at weddings the guest get bored while the bride and groom are taking pictures. Dean had them completely entertained while they were waiting for us. The reason I said "unique services" was because of the entertainment he provided. He was sooooo much more than just a DJ. He was what made our reception. At first we gasped at the price, but, after our initial meeting/consultation, we understood that he would be worth every penny!! And he didn't let us down:) I never got a chance to say thanks to him, so if you are reading this Dean, THANK YOU!!

Great MC! Didn't have to give directions on how to handle crowd. His "Ice Breakers" really got the crowd going. This is a tough crowd. Many were reluctant to hire him. The doubters were glad he was hired.

Dean is amazing

DJ Dean is absolutely amazing. From the start, he was so prepared, organized, on top of EVERYTHING, and ensured that our wedding was going to be fun and engaging. Dean constantly communicated with us to ensure that our needs/wants were being met. Our biggest thing was that we wanted our guests to have fun, and Dj Dean brought that and more. Our guests still talk about how much fun they had our wedding and how the Dj was amazing. He has games/icebreakers really engaged the guests and while we were taking photos after dinner, we came back to everyone laughing, all guest tables participating, a little competition was occurring, and everyone having so much fun. Let him do his thing with all his icebreakers, games, and fun activities he has up his sleeve, you won't regret it at all. We also went with Dean for our photo-booth, which was everything and more. He personalized our photo strip, the backdrop, and our guests were able to get more than just 1 copy of the photos. If you're planning on getting married, Ultimate Events is the way to go. You will not regret it, and your guests will never forget how amazing your wedding was! We got married in October 2022, and people are still talking about how much fun they had from Dj Dean.

If you are planning a wedding and have a fun outgoing family, you HAVE to have Dean Hall from Ultimate Events be your DJ. We got our uplights, photobooth and DJ service for Ultimate and could not be happier. My guests are still raving to me about how fun the DJ was and where did I find him. He played games, had amazing ideas to keep the party going which ended up with my cousin and sister's husband walking in high heels and lipstick. He made memories that will last a lifetime. He has a million great ideas and really catered the party to us and our guests. He is a pro and truly a brilliant entertainer. My wedding reception was magical because Dean Hall was our DJ.

The Most Talked About Part of Our Wedding.

One of the things that our wedding guests consistently mentioned was the best part our wedding was the DJ. Dean masterfully DJ'd our wedding and kept the celebration going. He has a excellent sense of the mood of the guests, and seemed to know what music to play, and what games would entertain the best. Dean stated that he had DJ'd a couple of thousand weddings, and showed. My wife and I would lucky to have him DJ our wedding. Highly recommended.

With a month or so to go before our wedding, my wife (fiancée at the time) and I were still looking for a DJ for our wedding and reception. Our choices were narrowed down to two. After meeting with both DJs, we had a difficult choice to make. We were really impressed with Ultimate Events/DJ Dean Hall but the other DJ was significantly cheaper. In the end, we went Ultimate Events/Dean because we liked what they had to offer, and it was completely worth paying a little more for the added value and peace of mind that comes with an experienced, knowledgeable, and energetic DJ. Ultimate Events/Dean bring a lot to the table: professionalism; a good attitude; a people person; tons of experience; attention to details; a good grasp of what works and what might not (and he’s very honest/straightforward in this regard); seemingly endless energy; and fun. Because of these factors, we felt more comfortable working with Dean.

Dean had a lot to do with the success of our wedding and reception. With Dean’s input and execution, the ceremony was virtually flawless. The reception was just about perfect as well. Seeing it first hand, a good DJ for a wedding and/or reception is not just about playing music. Dean did a great job playing the right music at the right times and incorporating interactive games into our reception at the right times for the right purposes, which kept our guests entertained and the general mood upbeat. For example, to prevent chaotic stampedes to the buffet tables, Dean excused tables one-by-one by engaging the guests in a trivia game about our likes and dislikes – nice touch and very thoughtful.

I imagine it’s relatively easy to cater to a particular demographic like the twenty-somethings in the crowd and keep just them happy but at our reception everyone from the little ones to the elders and the shy or grumpy to the out-going were up out of their seats having fun. It takes a talented DJ to make that happen. Indeed, throughout the reception, several guests commented that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to, and much of the credit goes to Dean.

If you decide to go with Ultimate Events and Dean Hall to DJ your wedding/reception, you can be at ease knowing that you’re in good hands.

The best decision of your wedding is hiring this dj

I was the maid of honor for my best friend and super involved in the planning process. When I first met Dean, it was in a meeting at his office to go over details and I had no idea just how many details he would cover -- everything from pronouncing the wedding party names right, song timing, to the exact dance and atmosphere lighting the couple wanted. He was so incredibly thorough with the timing of the whole day and was truly the coordinator of the event in my eyes. He made sure the ceremony music and reception music was exactly what they wanted, that the timing of the evening went exactly according to plan, and made this backyard wedding feel so professionally planned and executed. He even had notes and pointers for the officiant, who was a friend so he didn't have experience. That alone was a life saver.
The wedding guests LOVED him for his energy, games and icebreakers, and his humor. After making sure all the parts of the reception went according to plan, he spent the rest of the night taking our song requests -- which we had many -- and giving us a lot of time for tons of dancing!
I had no idea how much work went into being a DJ and MC for a wedding until witnessing all the work that Dean did. The bride, groom, and myself as the maid of honor are all SO grateful for Ultimate Events and for Dean--for making the day so special and taking great care and pride in their work. THANK YOU!

Dean provided a service to our wedding unmatched by any other DJ we have ever seen. Guests of all ages participated in the activities Dean provided. Dean had the guests playing games and at one point it seemed the guests would rather play the games and entertain others rather than dancing. We had guests from 4 years old up to 89 playing the games and then out dancing. Once the dancing started we had most everyone out on the dance floor, up to 150 at one time enjoying. Dean was very receptive to our ideas and offered us some valuable insight to make our wedding one of the best. People are still impressed with "our" DJ and are still asking,"where did you find this guy?"
If I could, I would give Ultimate Events and Dean a higher rating, Dean Hall and Ultimate Events ROCK!!!

Just got married March 9, 2012 at the Garden Room in Garden Grove. Dean Hall did an amazing job from our ceremony music to our reception! He got the crowd pumped up and out of their chairs with games. He played all the music we wanted. He is very professional and cares about his clients. He also set up lights for us. Dean is a consumate perfectionist and it shows in all that he does to prepare and execute for an event.

I first saw Dean's work at a couple of my friends weddings and was totally impressed at how he made the house just ROCK. He's witty, on top of the music, has nonstop action going on all the time and it's tastefully done. I never had so much fun at a wedding reception! I was totally excited when I heard he was DJ-ing another friends wedding. I knew it would be a blast! It turned that it was just that, and more!

When our daughter got engaged and we were planning the reception, the one thing I told her was that the music has to be fantastic. No one will really remember if they had chicken or shrimp to eat, or what flavor the cake was . What they WILL remember is the party, the dancing, the lights, the music. THE MUSIC MAKES THE PARTY! A great DJ MAKES the party! If you're looking for the best, look no further, Dean and Steven are the best around.

Though Dean was not avaible for our daughter's wedding, DJ Steven totally rocked the house that night. He was excellent in every way. It was like having a Dean 'twin.' You can't go wrong with either of the gentlemen.

They are so knowlegable about music and how to run a successful event, that whatever it is you're planning that needs a DJ, you've come to the right place! In fact, they are more than DJ's, they coordinate the event with all of the outside staff as well (banquet manager, wedding coordinators etc.) Your event will run as smooth as silk.

I sound like a walking advertisement but seriously, our best friends just got married this July.. Dean was the DJ.. the party was FANTASTIC! A night to be remembered for a long, LONG time!

DJ Dean is more than a wedding DJ- he’s an emcee, game show host, and comedian wrapped into one! My husband and I decided to hire Dean for our wedding based on his infectious laughter and his never-ending great ideas for the reception. He did not disappoint. My (now) husband and I were in search for a DJ for our wedding in Garden Grove. We came across Ultimate Events and their impressing amount of five-star reviews. We contacted the company and spoke with Dean, who stayed on the phone with us for almost an hour as he answered questions and explained his DJ services. We then met with him in person to find that he was extremely energetic, personable, and concerned about our requests and needs.
The day of our wedding went off without a hitch—and this was mostly due to Dean. Dean was wonderful in keeping timelines and adjusting them as needed. He was in communication with us the entire night to make sure that we were doing okay. And the games that he facilitated were great! We had a mixture of very introverted and very extroverted personalities at our wedding. All of the guests that I saw seemed to be involved with each of the games. The first comment from everyone I have spoken with has been something similar to: “your wedding was so much fun--where did you find that DJ?”
We can say that we were thrilled to find Ultimate Events; I couldn’t imagine using any other DJ and having the same wonderful experience at our wedding! In other words, look no further—you have found your DJ!

Dean at Ultimate Events was absolutely fabulous for our New Year's Eve Wedding. He was so prepared and spent the time and effort to really get to know us before our wedding. He showed in everything that he did that he loves his job and was determined to make it the funnest, most special day of our lives. He always returned our calls quickly and made our crazy schedules work into his to hold calls and a meeting before the wedding. On the wedding day, he showed up early, stayed late, brought more than we expected and was able to read the crowd the entire night to keep things going. He was the best DJ we ever could've asked for and is someone that we will keep in our lives and at the top of our list for every event needing a DJ in the future. We used Ultimate Events to supply the entertainment at our Wedding on 22nd August and can highly recommend them. Having met with several companies beforehand, it was clear from our initial meeting with Ultimate Events that our DJ was focused on us rather than themselves. All our requirements and requests were taken into consideration so we had nothing to worry about leading up to our wedding. On the day itself, everything ran smoothly and our DJ kept the whole event flowing and kept everyone entertained from start to finish. There was something for everyone. "This is the best wedding I have ever been to!!" I heard this over and over again at and following my wedding, and I attribute this to Dean! Dean was an excellent host, an excellent DJ and just an excellent guy through and through. Here is the letter I sent him.

"Hi Dean,

Please allow me a moment to sincerely thank you for your work at our wedding. Even though we were distracted greeting guests, we saw that everyone was having way too much fun with your games and trivia. I even had a few guests I was greeting at their table shush me so they could keep participating in your games! Many came up to me and said that this was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. You did a great job engaging everyone and coordinating very creative and hilarious games.

I also wanted to praise you on having (my now husband) break out of his shy and reserved shell to play He Said, She Said. I know he resisted at first, but you were able to make it comfortable for him, and guests said they greatly enjoyed watching us participate.

I have memories of people dashing about trying to find odd items and rushing back to the "musical chairs" type game you were playing... too funny!!

Anyway, thank you so much for keeping our guests very well entertained, and for making the evening what many said was the greatest wedding they ever went to. It was truly a pleasure working with you."

Wrapping it up- this company is not a cheap just spin records type of DJ business. Dean is an amazing DJ, I don't know how any other DJ could have filled his shoes. I've never seen anyone keep a party going like him. Not only is he good at his job, but he's great to work with too. He constantly wanted to make sure we got the best service and best use of our time. I would work again with him in a heartbeat. I can't say enough great things about Dean and his team! They truly made my wedding perfect! From the photo booth to the dance lights to the games and the overall music selection- PERFECTION!! We got married in July 2013 and hired Dean as our wedding DJ. Dean was the preferred vendor at our venue and we liked him right away after the phone interview. What we did not anticipate was the venue changing ownership after I put in a deposit; and I almost had to cancel Dean due to a different package that the venue promoted under new management. After a few discussions with Dean, he went ahead and negotiated with the venue for us and was able to work something out. We were fortunate to be able to keep Dean on board. Dean was so dedicated to meet our expectations, he did everything we had asked for and went above and beyond on our wedding day. All the guests loved Dean! I received (and am still receiving) compliments from wedding guests for Dean's performance. Dean is detail oriented, intelligent, and resourceful. Dean's price is not the least expensive one, but I believe you get what you pay for. If entertainment at your wedding or party is crucial to you, go with Dean! He will not disappoint you. Planning a wedding is a big step in one's life and can be extremely stressful. Thank god Ultimate Events and DJ Dean Hall were there to help us every single step of the way. We've dealt with boring, unsupportive, insensitive, DJs who lack in experience and professionalism but with DJ Dean it was such a positive, fun, energetic, and very memorable experience. Dean sets the standard in how a DJ should be, for which he sets a very high bar. It's not just about the music (which he had every song ever created), but it's about having the right entertainment and energy to make an unforgettable party. He is incredibly creative, especially with the activities he provides. Everyone loved the uplights, dance lights and photo booth. Our wedding was amazing because of him. Our guests approached us during and after the event desperate to know how they could be in touch with DJ Dean. The compliments were endless! Our guests had so much fun and surprisingly, even the more quiet guests were jumping out of their seats in excitement during our wedding reception. My best friend, who was also my maid of honor, had used Ultimate Events at her wedding and they were so good, we didnt even look at another vendor for our wedding. They have alot of different packages and extras (like lighting or games or props) to choose from for any budget We originally booked the top DJ there, which is Dean Hall. But we found that he was actually booked for our date so we ended up getting Steven Encinas. I was sort of disappointed with that at first but Steven was so good it didnt even matter. He's very personable and was very good at making sure we were taken care of the entire reception. He was very good at moving things along at a good pace so that nothing was lagging and everything got done that needed to be. Before the wedding, he called us to go over all our music selections and let us know if we wanted to wrap up a song early, all we need to do is nod at him. And he reassured us that he was there to make sure that we had a good time. The guests really had a good time and most of them said it was because the DJ was so good. A good DJ is one of the most important things you need at a wedding. Go to a wedding where the DJ doesnt keep things on track, doesnt entertain, doesnt play good music and I guarantee the guests will not only be bored to tears but most of them will leave early. Trust me, my husband's and I went to his cousin's wedding a few months before ours and it was a snore fest because the DJ sucked. We couldnt get out of there fast enough.

Dean and Ultimate Events was on our venue's vendors list, and we are so happy that we chose him for our wedding DJ! While wedding planning can be stressful, Dean acted as a calming and organized presence during the entire process.

I was planning a wedding from across the country and Dean made it easy. As soon as I talked to Dean on the phone -- his expertise and enthusiastic personality showed. When I met with him in his office, he was able to tailor the entire event to our requests to create the atmosphere that catered to our crowd. He patiently spent half an hour changing the colors of his LED uplights until I was happy with the hues. He practically planned my entire reception for me! I did not have a wedding planner! Dean was always very responsive with phone calls and emails.

On the wedding day, Dean set up early and made sure my entire wedding party was comfortable with the ceremony and reception procedures. He worked with my venue to pace the processions, and regularly checked in with me to make sure the wedding was going according to schedule while I was busy.

It turned out that one of our wedding guests had also used Dean's services for his wedding! While half of the guests at his table didn't show up for the reception, Dean made an effort to go over to say hi and made sure that my guests were happy....all the while great music was playing.

The top reasons why I recommend Dean as a wedding DJ is:

-- his expertise in planning, scheduling, advice on timing
-- he's just a really nice guy. you def want an enthusiastic, kind DJ who you know is dependable and stress-free. no diva here!
-- he can modify the event to your style: whether it's a more traditional chicken-dance/conga line wedding to a no-nonsense/loungey atmosphere.

If you want your guests to tell you that they've never had more fun at a wedding, hire Dean.

We first saw him at a family member's wedding in Temecula, CA, and my (now) husband and I agreed, right then, that he was the best we'd ever seen. He had the crowd engaged the entire night, from cocktail hour to the last song. That's when we realized what DJ greatness was.

A year later, we were engaged (literally) and looking for vendors. Knowing that the DJ could make or break the reception, we decided to go for it and asked Dean to come to Ohio for our wedding. True to his nature, he was totally game.

Hiring Dean took a large weight off of our shoulders because we knew our reception would be taken care of by the best in the business. And we spent the next year anticipating how fun it was going to be.

During our planning sessions, we found out that Dean was also a master of ceremonies with wedding coordination experience. He was extremely attentive and made sure everything was mapped out ahead of time. This was important because it ensured that we'd be able to enjoy every minute, without having to think about what needed to happen next or whether everyone felt involved.

Ultimately, Dean was the best because he made it about us. He played the songs we liked, interacted with our guests, and his energy was infectious. Looking back, one of my favorite moments of the day was during the reception. I remember seeing people sprinting to the dance floor (in the middle of a game Dean had organized), while everyone else howled with laughter. I couldn't believe the level of participation - even the most reserved family members were in on it! That's when I realized how much fun people were having.

At the end of the night, we were told countless times by our guests - and even the wait staff - that our reception was the best they'd ever seen. We attribute that to Dean. He brought our personalities to life, and we can't imagine having gone with anyone else.

Dean at Ultimate Events had everyone dancing at our wedding - even people I've never seen let loose were on the dance floor. He played music everyone could enjoy and made sure there was never a dull moment. Many of our guests have said our wedding is the best they've ever been to, and more specifically many also commented on how great our DJ was.

Even in the months of planning, Dean was great. He and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and truly care about making your special day and wonderful and true to you as possible. Dean listened to what we wanted and offered great suggestions. He helped us formulate the timeline and even touched base with our planner/caterers to make sure they were on board. We felt very confident that everything would run smoothly, knowing that Dean was our DJ, and it did! It was better than smooth, it was perfect and fun! Our DJ from Ultimate Events, Dean, was the best DJ. He kept our guests entertained and played the music that we had requested. He helped us beforehand set up a tentative schedule that really helped the night move along smoothly. I have been to many weddings and I have found that the DJ can either make the party happen, just be background music or some DJs have even ruined weddings by not paying attention to details. Our DJ was perfect. Dean listened to what we wanted and he made the party happen. My husband and I felt that this was one of our best decisions. Our guests had fun dancing all night long. Met Dean Hall and his company, "Ultimate Events" at a co-workers recent wedding. I was SO impressed with his services that I hired him for our compnay Holiday Party. I am SOOOOO glad that I did so.

Dean has an AWESOME, easy-going and VERY pleasant personality. He has GREAT communication skills as we spoke almost weekly on all details for over two months regarding my ever-changing requests for our event.

Dean NEVER complained but only listened to my EVERY unrealistic request and offered GREAT ideas EACH and EVERY time.

At the party itself, DEAN arrived early to set up and test the sounds in the large ballroom. Dean went on to a 10+ performance as far his music, MC, games etc.. He took over the night (as we had discussed) and did a FANATSTIC job. Dean made it priority # 1 to assure that EVERYONE was having a good time (Mission accomplished Dean!)

This left MUCH more time for me to be a "Social Butterfly" and visit with our MANY guests.

I would HIGHLY recommend Ultimate Events and plan to re-hire them in the VERY near future.

It was a pleasure to work with Dean and Ultimate Events for our wedding. My wife and I are very detail-oriented people and we were really looking for a DJ that can stand in not only as the music provider and MC for the evening, but also someone organized and seasoned enough to coordinate the evening’s events as seamlessly as possible. Amazingly, we found this in Dean & Dawn at Ultimate Events!

Upon our first meeting, Dean was able to set us at ease with his hospitality and professionalism. He offered us great activity ideas, as well as helped us solve the problems we were facing on how to make our wedding day flow smoothly. Both he and Dawn were extremely quick in responding to our questions throughout the planning process, and Dean was very meticulous when it came to running through and locking down the details to our final schedule.

On the day, Dean was prompt, energetic and hit all the right beats. Though he checked in with us frequently, we never felt like we had to worry about anything because everything was always on point. All our guests had a great time, enjoyed the games and the dancing, and claimed it was the best wedding they’d ever attended.

We could not have been happier with DJ Dean!!! I swear, he MADE our wedding. Everyone have been raving about how good our DJ was and even asked for his information! In a way, it made us proud that we even found him! heh:) To start with, they have a showroom so they can show you the equipment that they will use for your event, as well as to meet with you personally for your initial consultation. He was nice enough to include some lights to the package for free which we soooo appreciate. Best part, DJ Dean is an amazing DJ/Emcee! His song selections are fantastic since everyone in our wedding were able to dance and have fun, regardless of age. His icebreakers are sooo much fun and made our wedding lively. Best of all, he has a really fun and witty personality which was exactly what we were looking for! Next time we need a DJ, we would not think twice about hiring him again. Thank you!

Entertaining and Knowledgeable DJ!

I went to my friend's wedding last summer and Dean was their DJ. He was so entertaining and I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt! He had so many creative games and the music was awesome. Now that my fiancé and I are getting married, we've chosen him to be our DJ! :)

They really entertained our guests! Our wedding reception was so much fun because of the great job they did. So many people have complimented their work and said that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. We really enjoyed it and appreciate all the work Ultimate Events did to take care of all our special requests. You will not find a better DJ company in the world! DJ Dean with Ultimate Events was the best DJ I have ever experienced. My Wedding was on May 4, 2018 and Dean made the entire wedding flow, from the ceremony to the reception. Dean didn't miss a beat every step of the way allowing my husband Mike and I not to have to worry about a thing. When first meeting Dean, Mike and I new it was Ultimate events who was going to DJ our wedding. Dean was fun to talk with and all details and cost were thoroughly explained, and there was no sales pressure. After all decisions were made everything agreed upon was laid out in a contract. Up until the wedding day there were several meetings over the phone to ensure that all details were in place and to make any last minute changes if needed. The day of the wedding, all music before and after the ceremony was just as we specified. During the reception guests were so blown away by Dean, some people are still talking about what a great time they had all because Dean made the reception fun, exciting, and he was engaged the entire evening. My brother, from Illinois, even asked Dean if he would fly to another stated to DJ an event. That is how awesome Dean is. All music play at the reception is what was asked for and there was no negative surprises. Dean also engaged all the guests in different games to keep everyone entertained. Our priority was that none of our guests would get bored and Dean certainly met that challenge. All the guests were engaged and I even witnessed a handful of guest who would never get up and dance do so. The reception was awesome and I would definitely hire Dean with Ultimate events again. Dean--"You are the BEST!!!" Mike and I are forever appreciative and thrilled that because of you our wedding turned out extra special and one in which we will never forget! Dean Hall of Ultimate Events made our 50th Wedding Anniversary Party very special by keeping the party flowing and providing entertainment which pleased all ages present from our teenage grandchildren to our many senior friends. Dean was great to work with from the planning stages and throughout the party. He and his staff worked hard to find some of the nostalgic music we had requested. Our friends enjoyed playing a trivia game and seeing how Dean got our grandchildren to participate in an activity he had planned. He knows how to get all ages up and moving on the dance floor. Following the party we received many phone calls, emails and notes saying "great DJ", "best party I've ever been to", "a memorable evening" and "great Music".

Dean was the DJ at my daughter's recent wedding. He did an absolutely terrific job. Met with them beforehand to get lots of info and trivia on them and then used that info well throughout the evening to entertain the crowd. Dean infused the info into games that tables participated at and also got everyone up out of their seats to have some fun and dance!! Multiple guests came up to me to say how great the wedding was and I read posts online that it was the best wedding they had EVER attended!! That is an amazing testimonial! If you're looking for a DJ that does it all, Dean is the one. Great music, great fun, did his homework, very personable and it was very important to him that our guests had a great and memorable experience. Thanks Dean!!

Dean went above and beyond to make our wedding reception even better than we had imagined. Dean has a ton of experience and it shows throughout the process from planning to the actual day of the event. Dean worked with us as well as our venue and other vendors to help plan every major and minor detail. He listened to our ideas and offered many of his own. Our wedding was on the smaller side, and one of our main concerns was that the energy level would be lower than at larger weddings we had been to in the past. Dean did such a fantastic job as emcee that this turned out not to be a problem at all. He created the exact energy level we were hoping for, saying the right things, playing the right music, hosting games and just in general making the reception a great time for us and our guests. We saw our guests cracking up with laughter, and getting up to dance and have fun, and we couldn’t have been happier with the way the event unfolded. Dean was a pleasure to work with. We would absolutely ask for Dean again for future events and we give him our strongest possible endorsement.

Request Dean Hall. We used Ultimate Events with Dean Hall for our DJ at our wedding and he was amazing. During our initial meetings he mentioned that people would come up to us and compliment us on the DJ choice during the wedding. At the time, I thought he was just being a salesmen so I smiled and went along with it. He was completely correct though. I must have heard it a dozen times that night: "This DJ is amazing!" "Where did you get this DJ?" "Good choice in DJ!" Even weeks after the wedding we will bring up just how awesome he was. The party never slowed down. As soon as things start to dwindle, Dean recognizes it right away and is able to get people up on their feet again immediately. He knows tons of party games to get people interested and he knows exactly how and when to use them. Dean always made sure we were happy and having a good time and in turn that our guests we happy and having a good time. When the buffet dinner was served, he arranged for them to make us a plate and have it brought to our table. After dinner, he brought us mints! Before we arrived, he was playing games with the crowd and even had a special surprise joke (joke is an understatement but I don't want to ruin the surprise) for the groom when we first sat down.

I could go on and on but you just have to experience him for yourself. People should get married just to have Dean Hall be there DJ! Do yourself a favor and throw a party next Saturday just so you can experience the fun of Dean Hall!

When we first met with Dean, we knew he was going to be an awesome DJ. To be honest, when he showed us the price, we hesitated for only a few minutes then went with our gut and went with him. After the perfect wedding, we would honestly pay him double if we could afford it (I'm not saying you should raise your prices Dean :P).

Highly recommend!! Made our wedding AMAZING!

My now husband, Marc, and I just got married last weekend at The Hacienda in Santa Ana and we had the privilege of having Dean as our DJ and MC. To say we are over the moon about how our day went is an understatement. There were ALWAYS people on the dance floor which is not something I can say for a lot of weddings I have been to. He took guest song requests and really read the room well to keep people energized and dancing!

Marc and I are not overly cheesy people so when Dean first brought up the idea of little games during the reception, we were skeptical. After talking with him about our concerns, he was able to completely tailor his ideas to fit our style and we wouldn’t have had our wedding any other way!

I know this review is long but I really want to do them justice, so last thing! After going back and forth on whether we wanted a photo booth we ultimately decided we did want one and wow, I’m so glad we did! The attendant who was there (sorry I didn’t catch his name!) was so great and enthusiastic, every time I walked past there were always people there! Everyone had such a good time!

If ultimate events is available for your wedding/event, book them ASAP! They go above and beyond to make your event the absolute best it can be. You won’t be sorry!!

The Greatest DJ of All Time

We found Dean originally on YELP as he comes up on the top. This is very well deserved. After reading reviews on YELP and Wedding Wire we decided that Dean would be our first choice. We scheduled a meeting about 2 months before our wedding (the reception was 3 days later). We had a 2 + hour meeting to discuss what we wanted and Dean with his vast experience was able to build upon that as well as give us several other ideas. Dean works nights during the week so he is easy to meet up with for most people. We completed the homework he gave us and we had another 1 hour meeting about 1 month before the wedding. Dean is very methodical in his planning and has the entire event mapped out but is incredibly flexible to adjust. He takes really thorough notes for reference too. The music is wonderful and you get to choose the genres you want played as well as any specific songs you want. The games he plays are universally fun and can be played by all ages. Since our reception on Saturday, the first thing that most of our friends discuss is how wonderful the DJ was. Our parents (in their 70's) want to know what we are going to do for an encore. DJ Dean entertained 135 people for 4 hours. This was our one big lifetime event and Dean made it so memorable. Thank you Dean! I wish there was something above 5 stars, Dean deserves it.

This review is for DJ Dean Hall who was at our wedding this past weekend 6/16/18.

Everyone kept telling me how amazing he was and that they have never had more fun at a wedding. His energetic personality livened up the evening and I couldn't have been happier with him. He got the entire crowd out of their seats and his jokes and games had everyone laughing.

During the planning process, he made sure even the smallest of details were noted. I'd have a wedding again just to have him there.

Thank you Dean for going above and beyond at our wedding.

My husband and I got married January 3rd 2015 and had Dean as our DJ. We were referred to him by a couple we knew that had him at their wedding. Having Dean as our DJ was the best decision we made. He had the whole group entertained throughout the whole time. Dean went above and beyond what we were expecting. I loved that he was always available for us during the planning and would always find a convenient time for us to meet him. From our first phone call with Dean, I knew he was the DJ for us. Few people have the power to radiate giddiness to those around them let alone through telephone lines. Dean does. Dean is a superstar. He is worth every penny. If you want to ensure that your guests have a good time and smile continuously, book him. Forget the decorations, the cake, the bridal party. All you need is Dean with his bouquet of colored lights spinning your party into dimensions of fun unknown to lesser parties. Half our guests didn't want to leave. DEAN IS THE BEST!!! He did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding and we could not have been more impressed with his work. He read the crowd so well and kept the crowd entertained and dancing the whole entire time! He evens does the wedding coordinating during the event which was a huge help! He was there throughout the whole process answering any questions we had and was always available via email or phone. We even had last minute changes to our ceremony and he had no problems working with us and making everything happen that we wanted! Hiring Dean to DJ our wedding a few weeks ago was the BEST DECISION! Our wedding was SO_MUCH_FUN. I have never been to such a fun wedding, and I know I sound biased since I was the bride, but I have also never sought out a bride and groom at a wedding to tell them, "THIS IS THE BEST WEDDING I HAVE EVER BEEN TO" and by the end of the night my husband and I lost track of how many people had told us that.

At the beginning of our wedding planning process, my husband and I sat down and tried to prioritize what was most important to us about our wedding day. We both agreed that the most important thing to us was for our guests to have a really fun time. We made that our number one goal, and then hashed out our budget accordingly. If having the most fun wedding ever is part of your wedding day vision, hiring Dean has to be a given. Our wedding was FLAWLESS from the ceremony music, to the toasts, to the GAMES (my face hurt from laughing so hard), to the card time capsules (best idea ever - thank you Dean!), to the spotlight dances, to the dance floor. Flawless. So fun. This guy was seriously put on this planet to make your wedding the best one ever. Few people ever end up as good at their jobs as Dean is. That's just a fact.

The most fun DJ!

If you want to have a DJ who creates an engaging and fun atmosphere with your guests - look no further. Dean is absolutely the guy! We found him through our venue and are so thankful we could book him! He is thorough, organized, and makes sure that every detail is accurate. He also makes the evening FUN! Our guests continually talk about how much fun they had, and how much they enjoyed interacting with one another. My fiancé and I when first meeting with Dean also came to learn a family my family is acquainted with hired Dean for mot one, not two, but THREE weddings (three daughters). If that doesn’t tell you how amazing he was I don’t know what will. DJ’a have a huge impact on the vibe of the night and Dean always gets the vibe right, promise!!

I cannot express how amazing Dean Hall is!! He made our wedding so memorable and fun! Dean truly knows what he's doing and he does an excellent job at it! He makes sure that you and your guests have the best night possible. He went above and beyond our expectations. We had met with 2 other DJs before Dean and as soon as we met Dean, we both looked at each other and said "We HAVE to have this guy!" It was the easiest decision ever! He is so energetic and makes sure that everyone is having a great time. He can feel the crowd and judge what to do. So many of our guests complimented on how great he was. While me and my husband walked around to each table, Dean made sure to keep the guests entertained by playing some games and getting everyone involved. Many of our guests said they had never done anything like that at a wedding but they LOVED it!!! It was nice for us because it made it easy to greet each table. Dean played the music at our ceremony and at our reception. He runs the show. He announced everything we did and kept the party flowing smoothly. We were only supposed to party until 11:00 but everyone wanted to go longer because of Dean so we ended up keeping the party going for another hour. He made sure that me and my husband were taken care of each step of the way. Thank you SO much Dean!!! Our wedding would not have been the same without you!

The DJ is probably the most important part of a wedding reception because they pretty much run the show. When we met with Dean, we were instantly impressed!! He showed us all the lighting that could be used for the reception and told us about games that he does at weddings. Games? At a wedding?? Sounds crazy but this was the most awesome part!! All of the games were fun and my husband and I had no idea which games he was even going to do but they were hilarious!! Our guests were ALL having the best time and no one was bored at all!

Dean showed up right on time and had everything ready way before the ceremony was going to start. As a bride, timing is SO important on that day and Dean getting there with plenty of time set my mind at ease!! In addition, we were emailed pages to fill out that were very straight forward for the ceremony and reception. We were also sent a TON of sample songs for every single part of a wedding: processional, candle lighting, first dance, cake cutting, father daughter dance, etc. and this really helped us pick the right song!!

Back to the games...I cannot tell you how wonderful they were! Everyone was involved and it made it one of the more unique weddings any of our friends have been to!! (In a good way!). ALL of our friends and family told us how great our wedding was and how great our DJ was. Three weeks later and people are still talking about how they have never had as much fun as they did at our wedding! The price might be out of some of your range, but he is worth every penny!!! You get what you pay for...so spend it on the BEST DJ around!!! Dean is truly the best and I am so so so glad we chose him for the most important day in our lives, thus far

Choosing Ultimate Events and Dean Hall was such a GREAT decision. In the six months prior to our wedding we attended 5 other weddings, and during the process, more and more each time we realized how important a great DJ is. Not only are they playing the music, but they are setting the tone for your entire evening. From the moment the guests arrive until the last song of the night, the DJ is in charge of the entire reception experience. We found Ultimate Events by way of a referral. A friend of ours had recently attended a wedding and she raved about the DJ. She told us that we absolutely needed to call this company� Ultimate Events. After a little research I realized that it was Dean Hall�s company. I�ve known Dean for 20+ years� he started his DJ business when he was still in high school. We met with him, loved him, and booked him right away. At our reception I kept thinking how lucky we were to have Dean running the show. When we booked him he guaranteed that people would tell us that he was the best DJ they had ever heard. Guess what, at least 5 couples (that night) told us exactly that. His attention to detail was tremendous� and our reception was an amazing time. We are really grateful that we found Dean! I would HIGHLY recommend him for your event.

Dean was quick to respond to my initial call. We met and went over what we wanted/expected from an entertaining DJ. He put it together and all of our guests still rave what an excellent, fun time all ages had at our afternoon outdoor wedding reception. We have videos of the smiles and laughter of guests we wouldn't have expected to jump in and participate. Thanks again.

Awesome Experience

I used Ultimate Events for my 50th Birthday Party. Right from the start, Dean understood and appreciated my party theme and vision. He prepared well to make my vision become a reality. My party was everything I'd hoped it would be and Dean was a huge part of it. Everybody at the party commented on what a great job he did! It was a magical night I'll never forget. Thanks Dean.

My daughter had her wedding on July 14, 2012. As you read through the other reviews, know that what they are saying about Dean is exactly true! My daughter's wedding did not have any alcoholic beverages, and we had several older guests. Dean's creativity was absolutely astonishing! He made the wedding! He met with my daughter and her new husband (prior to the wedding) to make sure he knew how to pronounce all the names, and he wanted to "get a feel" for the type of crowd who would be attending the wedding. There were people in their 70s who simply could not stay seated because they were SO involved in the games Dean played with the crowd. It was a perfect mix of great music and WONDERFUL games to keep everyone entertained. He has a way of interacting with the guests that simply makes each person feel special! I heard many people say (and I am still hearing remarks almost a month later) how this was one of the best weddings they had ever attended, and it was due to Dean and the effort he put forth for this newlywed couple. If anyone ever asks me about weddings and they are in the Southern California area, I will tell them that they simply cannot have the wedding without hiring Dean! HE IS THE BEST!!! My daughter called during her honeymoon and said she and her husband attribute the success of their wedding to Dean!

Dean is an amazing Master of Ceremonies! He knew how to keep our crowd involved, the vibe upbeat, and the party going. We received compliments from all of our guests on how great of a DJ we hired. We cant imagine what our wedding would have been like without Dean. We highly recommend his services.

We received a referral to Dean Hall from our photographer, Scott Land. He highly recommended Dean Hall, so after reading wonderful 5/5 star reviews, we decided to book a meeting with Dean. Dean was so friendly, enthusiastic, and welcoming; we knew right away that he would create a fun, energetic atmosphere at our wedding. Dean Hall is not a standard wedding DJ who plays music and makes announcements. Dean Hall has a very special talent of entertaining. He is very sharp and witty and can create funny moments spontaneously either with words or music to fit the moment. Dean Hall thoroughly entertained the wedding guest with the games and icebreakers. He had the guest totally engaged, rolling in laughter, and having such a good time. We heard over and over from our guests that this was the best and most fun wedding reception they had been to. Dean created such a fun atmosphere that by the time it was time to dance, everyone was in the mood to get on the dance floor. He played a great variety of music that appealed to all age groups at the wedding. We also really enjoyed the mood set on the dance floor with the up-lighting he provided. Dean Hall is very organized and before the wedding he gave us forms to fill out for particular music selections and other information regarding our reception. He created a very organized timeline before the wedding for the entire reception. During the reception, Dean Hall was very good about communicating with us about the schedule and if there were any adjustments we would like to make. Because of his organization, we knew everything we wanted to have in our reception would be included in the time we had allowed. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, Dean Hall was very professional and easy to communicate with whether it was setting up a meeting, through email, or a phone call. He is a true professional and will make your day outstanding, just like he did for us! Thank you Dean!

Wow! I do not know where to begin!

First off, Dean is AMAZING. Our search for a DJ started back in May of this year and I already had a grand vision in terms of what I was looking for in a DJ. Dean is not only a DJ but he is also a MC which is a bonus. Usually it's one or the other not both.

I've been to weddings in the past where all the DJ would do is just play music and maybe some interaction with the audience.

Dean was the BEST and hands down you cannot go wrong with him if you decide to have him DJ. Thank you Dean for all that you do!

Dean Hall is one of the best DJ's I have ever had experienced! Dean was the DJ for my daughter's wedding on October 1, 2016. His personality and event timing are impecabble. All of my guest were extremely impressed. I have to mention that I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and have seen and expereinced many DJ's in this time frame and I have to say Dean all is the best ever!

Ultimate Events was amazing! From the pre-wedding meetings to the wedding and reception itself, I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. My fiancee instantly knew that they were the ones to go with, and we couldn't have been any happier about the result. It sounds hyperbolic, but my feelings about them really are this positive. I can't tell you how many times friends of ours have commented about what a great job our DJ did. I look forward to working with them again soon!

We had our wedding in April of this year and Dean was stupendous.... He really knows how to run a party... His energy, creative games, and his ability to read the crowd is what sets him apart from the rest.... Attention to detail was also astonishing being asian he went over everybodys name just to make sure he said it correctly which was important to us...

Very organized as he not only had his own setup down...but he made sure other vendors were also in line... setup looked great and the lighting really created a perfect look...

Best of all the bride was happy and thats all that matters in the end!!

Best Day EVER!

Every 5 star review anyone reads here or elsewhere, are all true! How do I find words to describe Dean with Ultimate Events that others haven't already said? My husband and I did our research, starting with Yelp. Then I found more awesome reviews on The Knot and Weddingwire websites and we knew we had to meet Dean in person! When we met, we knew in a heartbeat he was our DJ! No need to interview anyone else, Dean was our guy! My husband and I wed October 24, 2018. Our reception was on October 27, 2018 at Dave and Buster's in Orange, CA. Dean truly made our day stress free, fun, and enjoyable. Our guests of 135 were happily entertained with games hosted by Dean giving my husband and I a chance for sampling our appetizers off a plate Dean prepared for us, eat our lunch, and allowing us time to walk around to socialize one on one with our guests. The Dave and Buster's staff assigned to our event also mentioned they enjoyed our DJ and his games as well. In the days following, we have continued to receive amazing reviews about how exciting our wedding reception was along with the highest compliments directed to our DJ, Dean. The best compliment we get is from our parents who are in their 70's, who keep asking us how we are going to top this event! Thank you Dean for your perfection in providing us with the BEST wedding reception our guests have ever attended! It is our BEST DAY EVER!

My fiancé and I procrastinated and waited until about a month before our wedding to start looking for a DJ for our wedding and reception. Luckily our day-of wedding coordinator gave us references, which included Ultimate Events (DJ Dean Hall).

When we met Dean for the first time, we were impressed by his knowledge and energy. Going in we had a rough idea of some of the things and events that we wanted to include in our wedding and reception but had not figured out all of the details. As we talked to Dean about our plans, he was able to help us flesh those things out. We could tell by the questions he asked and the ideas he suggested that he is knowledgeable and experienced with weddings.

Aside from his energy, what we really appreciated was his honesty with us. He wasn’t a “yes man” agreeing with all of our ideas just to please us. He wasn’t shy with telling us about potential problems or the cons of some of our ideas. That was a big factor for us in hiring Dean because we knew he was honestly looking out for us to ensure our wedding and reception would go smooth.

We are so glad we hired Dean and Ultimate Events. Thanks in part to Dean, the wedding and reception turned out beautifully.

DJ Dean is one of the friendliest people we met while looking for wedding vendors. He was very personable, helpful, and willing to take the time to answer any questions we had without rushing us. He was also very detailed, we would definitely work with him again for future events.

We ended up using on of DJ Dean's photo/video booths, and we're glad we did! We got a lot of pictures and a few videos from our wedding guests, the prop selection was incredible, and he spent time with us to design a custom logo for our photo strips. We also chose the option to get a scrapbook, and it was very high quality. Definitely consider going with the photobooth if you're already using his DJ services!

We hired Ultimate events for our wedding in October and could not have made a better decision. Seriously the best choice we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Ultimate events may be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. We have people from the wedding still saying it’s the best wedding they have ever been to. People continue to say “the DJ was awesome, he made the wedding perfect.” Having an amazing DJ is one of the most important factors in your wedding. Not only was he an excellent DJ for the day of the wedding but he was very prompt in answering any emails or text and made sure to address all my concerns for the big day. He offered to have in-person and telephone meetings whenever we needed in order to make us feel confident for the day of the wedding. Dean made the event flow so smoothly and his hilarious ice breaker games had the guest laughing hysterically. I am so grateful we went with Dean!!!

We hired DJ Dean for our recent wedding, and he took the wedding from GOOD to GREAT :) We had atleast 3 different guests tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that was mostly due to DJ Dean. The guests didn't have that awkward sitting around time while waiting for the bride and groom to come by their table. DJ Dean made sure the guests had games going on and entertainment the whole time. I won't give away any of the games, so that when you hire him, you and your guests will be just as entertained :) Also, our contract only kept him until 11pm but some guests were still dancing at that time. He didn't hesitate to keep playing, we went on the dance floor for a few last songs, and as our friends and family made a circle around us, it was one of the most memorable parts of the wedding for us. Bottom line if you want an AWESOME wedding, hire DJ Dean!!

Dean Hall and his company, Ultimate Events, is by far the BEST DJ service I have ever experienced. Dean was very interested in what my Husband and I wanted for our wedding reception and offered great ideas and time fillers (games). Dean was very easy to work with and provided us with the comfort of knowing that all 250 of our guests would enjoy the atmosphere. Dean and his staff were able to answer any and all questions and replied to phone messages and emails within 24 hours! I have had many guests ask, “Where did you find this guy? He’s great!” Dean even called me the day before my wedding to see how I was doing and verified the great time he had promised from our very first meeting.
I look back on that night and think, “Wow…Dean delivered an even better time than he promised!” Dean Hall is fantastic and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is looking for the BEST DJ around. Thanks Dean for such a great wedding reception!
