Top-notch service and excellent food!

Anthony and his team helped make our wedding truly incredible. We had our reception at the Cheney Mansion in Oak Park. Anthony worked with us to put together a menu for appetizers, stations for entrees, and dessert. He was incredibly flexible as the date approached, allowing us to adjust the quantity of everything just about three weeks prior. Additionally, we were able to order alcohol for our event from Binny's, and Anthony's team served our drink selections, including specific cocktail requests. The food was delicious (so many of our guests raved that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding), and Anthony's staff was superb throughout. Anthony himself addressed questions about allergens and was present to oversee the event. We highly recommend TwoMayToz!

Our Beautiful Wedding

Twomaytoz Event Catering was the perfect choice for our wedding at the Oak Park Conservatory. The food was excellent and the presentation was beautiful. Anthony made sure everything was perfect from planning to set-up, and the staff was top notch. So many of our guests complimented both the food and service. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The best wedding food

Twomaytoz was one of the vendors on a preferred list of our venue. I wanted to make sure I got a reasonable deal, so I of course emailed/called several places both on and off the list to compare options and pricing. Twomaytoz was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. Anthony helped us through the whole planning process and worked with our desire to have stations. Twomaytoz provided three amazing food stations, a dessert table, and the bar for us. Our food stations included Little Italy, Pilsen, and Down South themes. All of the food was amazing and so much better than usual wedding food. Anthony was extremely responsive, flexible, and helpful throughout the whole process. The food and staff were amazing; we received nothing but compliments on both. The staff kept checking on me and my now husband to see if we needed anything, if we got appetizers, etc. They also offered assistance to elderly guests with walkers getting food. Everything was amazing.

Such a great experience! Made our wedding memorable and special!

We are so pleased with choosing Twomaytoz to cater our wedding! Not only were they flexible to our catering needs, Anthony and his team went above and beyond our expectations. His staff provided excellent service both at the bar and from the kitchen. I can not count how many compliments I received on the food! I don't know if there are words enough to express my gratitude properly to Anthony and his staff at TwoMayToz Catering. When I initially chose my venue, Cheney Mansion (also amazing), I found TwoMayToz on their preferred vendor list. Literally within minutes of requesting a quote via the internet, Anthony called me back! I was so impressed with his professionalism and his willingness to work within my budget, that I made an appointment for a tasting within a week of finalizing menu options. We wanted food stations instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, so Anthony put a lot of effort into creating stations that were interesting and delicious, something unique that we could feel excited about. At the tasting, we thought the food was outstanding! My husband and I didn't even visit other caterers - we were so confident in TwoMayToz.
Well, it paid off. The ceremony and party went off without a hitch. I had no idea what was going on behind the scenes (as it should be). The tables were laid out, the food stations and bar were set up, and everything was served as planned! A server even brought food out to my husband and me to make sure we ate. Several of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever attended due to the variety and quality of the food we served. I would recommend Anthony and TwoMayToz catering for any event. First rate.

Anthony at TwoMayToz was amazing to work with for our wedding cocktail hour, dinner and reception. He was extremely responsive and flexible in every way possible as we were preparing for the big day. He and Tricia worked with us to stay within our budget. pick food choices that would go well with the overall feel of our wedding, and met every request we made, even when we changed our minds multiple times. Anthony walked us through every detail before the wedding to ensure we were comfortable with how things would be laid out and how the day would flow. He and the TwoMayToz staff took care of every detail, ensuring everything looked beautiful and the day went smoothly, even when we had to change the event from outdoor to indoor on the day of the wedding due to weather. The food was amazing and catering staff were so professional and polite. We really enjoyed working with everyone at TwoMayToz and are still receiving compliments on how good the food was. Anthony kept in touch with us up until few hours before the wedding, adding that personal touch that made our wedding day so enjoyable and perfect for us.

Working with Tricia was easy-peasy. She asked good questions about things that I didn't even think about, and completely understood that my husband and I were low-key, low-pressure type of people. Knowing this, she didn't try to push us to do "more more more" and instead focused on quality. And when I remembered last minute a guest of mine had a very serious food allergy, Tricia was able to get a plate of food made specially for my guest. When my husband I "made the rounds" to the tables during dinner, I asked my guest if she had received her plate of food and she responded, "Yes, in fact, you're the fourth person to ask! The servers, the catering supervisor AND the DJ have all asked if I got my food and it was delicious."

To add to that, the servers at Twomaytoz were professional yet fun and friendly. At one point during the dance hour, three of them had a small choreographed number going on behind the dessert table. My dad even has it on video. Some brides and guests may be aghast to hear this, but trust me- it was hilarious, and it made me feel like everyone, from the vendors and staff to our guests had a good time at our party!

Anthony and Tricia were amazing to work with. Both were exceptionally professional and responsive to our requests. The service was excellent. From inquiry to follow-up after the event, Twomaytoz consistently met or exceeded expectations. Responses were always thorough and prompt. Tricia does her job extremely well and has a tremendous amount of experience. The service was personalized to our unique needs and event and on the wedding day, there were absolutely no complications. I cannot say enough good things! The food itself was hot and delicious and we received so many compliments.

I was hesitant to commit to Twomaytoz because catering is one of the most important vendors of a wedding. Additionally, it is a large portion of the money spent. I would not hesitate to choose Twomaytoz again and I believe it was a fantastic value!!!

I'm so glad we chose Twomaytoz to cater our wedding. The food was delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests. Our ceremony and reception were at the Nineteenth Century Club in Oak Park and Twomaytoz caters there regularly. They had everything set up and ready to go without any hitches. They were able to accommodate a cocktail hour before the reception started, which was a must for us. Throughout the planning process, we worked with Tricia. She was so nice, responsive and easy to work with and made the whole process easy. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

We just had Twomaytoz cater our wedding at Cheney Mansion and couldn't be happier. Tricia and her staff were responsive, helpful, and extraordinarily hands on to help make our wedding reception go smoothly. Our goal was to have a wedding that had really good food and Twomaytoz exceeded expectations. Further, everything was set up in a timely fashion and looked absolutely beautiful. The waitstaff was extraordinarily responsive to our guests and everything came out very well. When I have to cater an event again, I will use them.

This caterer is top notch! I have used Twomaytoz for two very large events. While the events were not weddings, I hosted a memorial for 250 and a fund raiser for a not-for -profit that had 425 in attendance. Anthony and his staff do an incredible job from set up to linens to a wide range of food and beverages. The quality of their food is second to none and their careful planning leaves you stress free. Your guests will have an incredible time at your event!

When we fist read the reviews about Twomaytoz Catering they sounded too good to be true for such an affordable vendor. Well now I am one of those grooms who have used Twomaytoz and I am going to write on of those reviews. Working with Anthony, David and Tricia was truly a pleasure. Short and simple: delicious food, outstanding service and an incredible value. We had the Twomaytoz team cater our wedding dinner and brunch the following day and we received so many compliments about the wonderful food at both events. I highly recommend Twomaytoz!

I sincerely apologize to Twomaytoz for not writing this review sooner, but time seems to have flown by since our wedding! We were married May 31, 2014 and Twomaytoz Catering was hands down the best vendor we worked with. From day 1, Anthony and Tricia were extremely accommodating and professional. After meeting with a few other caterers, my now-husband and I went in to meet with Tricia and Anthony and to sample some of the menu. There was no doubt in our minds when we left them that day that we would be signing a contract ASAP. The food was delicious, their prices were more reasonable than any others we had seen and they came highly recommended by the team at our venue (The 19th Century Club). My father-in-law works in the food and beverage industry, selling meat and seafood to high-end steakhouses across the country. He wanted to source the meat for us, and Tricia and Anthony immediately agreed to it. They coordinated the delivery with him and my father-in-law dropped some samples of the cut of meat we picked out off ahead of time for the chef to play with. On the day of our wedding, the steaks were cooked PERFECTLY--like melt in your mouth delicious. We received so so many compliments on how amazing the steak, chicken and vegetarian options were--I, myself, still daydream about the vegetable terrine. Aside from the food, Tricia went above and beyond to coordinate everything for the reception and the room looked stunning. I stopped by The Nineteenth Century Club the day before the wedding to drop some decorations off and Tricia and her team had already started setting up. She completely transformed the room and worked easily with the other vendors that we had hired. We bought candle holders in instead of floral centerpieces and she probably lit 250 candles on the day of our wedding. The room looked exactly as I imagined it--breathtaking, romantic and elegant. I can go on and on, but the bottom line is HIRE THEM. You won't regret it :)

Tricia and her crew were flawless from start to finish. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Twomaytoz. Getting married in the Chicago can be stressful and very expensive and Tricia and Anthony made the experience of choosing a caterer easy and affordable. Their flexibility to work with us to provide exactly what we wanted was truly appreciated. We got married in an art gallery which required a quick flip of the room after our ceremony to setup tables for dinner. The transformation happened so quickly and quietly, we were truly amazed. The service was exceptional all night, many of our guests commented on how professional and friendly the staff was and the food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this company to future brides. They also let us purchase our own alcohol from Binny's to serve all night, we were able to return what was left over saving us even more money and we were able to select exactly what we wanted to serve including several craft beers. Highly recommend!

We worked directly with Tricia to plan, coordinate & execute everything for our October wedding. From the first meeting with Tricia, we got a great vibe from her & the company - she was organized, experienced and friendly. 2MayToz was the only caterer who came back within the budget we outlined as we were seeking proposals - we liked that they respected our budget and didn't try to upsell us. She also had an open mind and was extremely responsive throughout the whole process - I liked that I could bounce ideas off of Tricia, and she always gave an honest & professional opinion. She also helped suggest additional decor options as we were piecing together the rentals. She was very transparent throughout the whole process and definitely went the extra mile on the day of the wedding. Whether or not there were any glitches throughout the day (which is inevitable), we - the bride & groom - were not aware because Tricia handled them behind the scenes. The food was delicious - we received many compliments from our friends and family - and Tricia helped us time the entire night so we were able to stay on track. We had so much fun working with Tricia and her team. Choosing 2MayToz was such a great decision and was a huge part of why our big day was so successful!

Thank you to Tricia and Anthony for a great experience and high quality service! I received timely responses from the tasting all the way through the day of. Our guests highly complimented both the food and the fact that their glasses were never empty throughout the night, thanks to the great wait staff they hire. When we chose the Cheney Mansion as our reception venue we were handed a list of "approved vendors". Both my future wife and I looked at each other and sighed because we knew the limited options to choose from were going to leave us disappointed in the end...but we couldn't have been more WRONG. Tricia and Nick from TwoMayToz (Cucina Paradiso) catering were absolutely brilliant! From the initial phone call, to the menu tasting to the coordination of the reception and finally to the big day, the TwoMayToz staff was professional, courteous, experienced and best of all they were able to adapt quickly. There fell about 15 inches of snow on our wedding day, but at the reception you would have thought it was mid-July and sunny. The dinner was fantastic; so many guests were raving about the food. And the staff was great to meet the needs of all our guests (adults and children). Tricia and Nick handled everything with skill and stride taking as much of the pressure off us as they could, knowing that we had a lot to deal with already on the big deal.

Honestly we could not have asked for a better overall experience. I would absolutely recommend TwoMayToz to any family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, impartial bystanders and random strangers. They would be a great addition to ensure that your event is successful and fun. Cheers!

Twomaytoz (Cucina Paradiso) was a joy to work with. They would always respond to our questions promptly; they worked with our budget, concerns and changes quickly and professionally; and they provided so many services such as linen, bar, and excellent food that made the reception a breeze.

All of our guests complimented how "excellent" the food was. They were very complimentary of the service and the coordinators. I was appreciative that Twomaytoz was willing to set everything up and take it down so quickly.

They are a wonderful caterer and I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Chicagoland area.

Twomaytoz was the caterer for our wedding and they helped make the day absolutely perfect! They were flexible in working with us on the menu and timeline for our cocktail hour and reception, and were incredibly attentive and professional during the event. They made sure that me and the groom got to eat during the night as well as enjoy our event, and our guests raved about how delicious the food and cake were and how attentive and knowledgeable the staff were. If I could give more stars than five I definitely would! Twomaytoz provided the catering for my October 12, 2013 wedding at the Columbus Park Refectory. I can't say enough about Anthony and his Twomaytoz catering team. Anthony went over and beyond in providing my husband and I with a perfect and stress-free wedding experience. Every time we had an issue he worked with me and my venue to correct it swiftly and efficiently.

From the moment we met Anthony we knew we had found the right caterer. As a bride you are generally all over the place during the planning experience. Anthony helped me focus and concentrate on the important aspects of my special day. What I forgot Anthony remembered and helped me fill in the gaps. That is an excellent skill to have as a caterer. Additionally, he worked within our budget and when I asked if we could do something he answered me honestly and accurately about the ease of doing so and the cost.

On the day of my wedding the Twomaytoz catering staff offered my bridal party and my family hors d'oeuvres and drinks while we did our pictures during cocktail hour. They constantly asked us if we needed anything at all. I heard nothing but rave reviews from my guests after the wedding including how it was the best wedding food they ever had! The bacon-wrapped dates and crab cakes with lemon aioli were delicious and the mustard chicken was a hit! Plus I heard the mashed potatoes made people want to lick their plate :-)

You cannot go wrong with choosing Twomaytoz as your caterer. They have an excellence of service that I feel is unmatched in the Chicago area. They become more like a friend as well as a caterer and I would not hesitate to hire them again for a future event. In fact, I am referring them to all my friends who just got engaged. We really appreciate them making our day so wonderful! Thank you Twomaytoz!

When deciding on choosing a caterer for our ceremony we had plenty of companies from which to choose. Although important, budget was not our primary concern. We wanted great food that came out hot, and personalized service to all our guests to make them feel special without waiting 20 minutes for a drink or their appetizer. We worked closely with Anthony the owner; he not only listened to our ideas and needs but he met and surpassed our expectations to what we were looking for.

Working with TwoMayToz was exactly the experience that all stressed out couples should experience. They are professional; they make sure that your event is important to them; and it feels like working with a family rather than a large organization that just pumps out events like yours all the time. Ultimately, it was personal. On the day of our ceremony, the staff congratulated us and smiled from ear to ear, and they ensured someone was handling whatever we needed. It was amazing. We enjoyed every moment of meeting their team and in the end it felt like Anthony was not just our caterer but our friend. Certainly we will continue to visit his restaurant in Oak Park when we are in his neighborhood.

Twomaytoz did an excellent job catering my wedding of about 160 guests. Anthony and Tricia were responsive and so easy to work with. We actually signed a contract with them before we had our tasting. They truly helped make our August 3 wedding day spectacular! We were so impressed at how buttoned up they and their crew were, and how smoothly everything went. Guests at each table received their food all at the same time. We had a relatively tight schedule with all the food courses, as well as toasts. Everything was kept right on time. The food was delicious! I think people typically don't have very high expectations for 'wedding food' for 160 people. We received numerous positive comments about the food from our guests. We couldn't have been happier with everything! If you are looking for a wedding caterer...look no further!

The owner, Anthony, worked with us personally, offered great suggestions and dealt with our guests' dietary needs for gluten allergies and vegetarians. We wanted an old fashioned Italian family style dinner with Italian pastries and Italian cookies, plus fresh fruit and the wedding cake. We had a showcase cake because usually guests do not eat the wedding cake. Ours was scrumptious and quickly disappeared. His lasagna and meatballs were delicious. Our guests complimented us throughout the evening and I received many calls the day after regarding the food and service. His servers were well-trained and met all of our guests requests quickly. Our tasting was unbelievable; we did not hesitate to sign the contract. Anthony also scheduled a walkthrough at our venue the week prior to the wedding to go over everything step by step. I would definitely hire Anthony again for any future events without hesitation!

We were beyond thrilled to find that one of our favorite restaurants, Cuchina Paridiso in Oak Park had a catering arm, Twomaytoz Event Catering and we did not think twice before booking them for our wedding in June. We had very high hopes & expectations for the day (and overall planning process) with regard to food, rentals, bar package, event coordination, etc. and I can honestly say that our high expectations were exceeded by Twomaytoz. Anthony Gambino (chef and owner) was a pleasure to work with and truly cares about his business and his clients. Everything from the initial tastings, seasonal meetings, final preparations and planning were top notch and ran so smoothly because of our vendors/Twomaytoz. The food was outstanding and the client service was professional and very personal. We owe our perfect day to Twomaytoz and I would absolutely recommend them to other brides or anyone hosting any type of party who is looking for the best in class quality and service. 2maytoz was our caterer for our wedding reception at the Nineteenth Century Club. They were extremely familiar with the venue which was very very helpful. They were very helpful about working with us and our budget. I really did not enjoy wedding planning so it was great that I was able to just let them do their own thing after the menu was set and have complete confidence in them. They set up the room on the Thursday before the wedding so we got to see it before the wedding which was awesome. We did buffet style and I was slightly concerned with a line building up, but there was hardly a line or if there was, it was just for a few minutes. I still (almost a year later) get compliments on the food, even from a few friends who are super picky eaters. I was only able to grab a quick bite, but what I tasted was great! They kept the booze flowing and food coming and all my guests were very pleased with the service. Things ran very smoothly and I would highly recommend them. They weren't the cheapest vendor, but they worked really hard to make sure everything went smoothly and the food was much better than your "typical" wedding food so they were definitely well worth it.

Twomaytoz handled our daughter's wedding, and they were excellent! Anthony and Haley were wonderful to work with, and they delivered everything they promised. So many of our guests complimented us on the food and the service. The catering staff took very good care of not only us (the parents), but all of our. We were very pleased. Hands down amazing. Anthony and the Twomaytoz crew did a fantastic job. We spoke to several caterers and as soon as we connected with Twomaytoz , the search was over. They listened and offered up a solution that was incredibly appropriate for our event. Other caterers presented solutions that seemed to accommodate them more than our special day. Not Twomaytoz, however, they presented a sharp clever solution for our wedding style, guests’ needs, and our budget.

We went through 2 tastings, and the Twomaytoz presented multiple choices to pull together a great menu. In the weeks leading up to the event Anthony was incredibly responsive to our questions and requests—and I’ll admit I had a lot of questions and needs. On the day before he pivoted and helped easily accommodate unpredictable weather. During the event the staff was cordial, polite, and met everyone’s needs.

Also impressive was the fact that there was a wedding before ours at the venue and Anthony turned the ENTIRE PLACE OVER in only an hour. The crew was sharp, effective and efficient. The transformation was seamless and I’m still baffled as to how they pulled it off…

And most importantly, the food was AMAZING; the best wedding food we have ever had. We actually had more comments on the food than our actual ceremony! It was a huge success. We would work with Anthony and the Twomaytoz crew again in a heartbeat and will likely use them for any of our future events—perhaps our 10 year anniversary!

I got married August 18th at the Joffrey Ballet Tower and working with Anthony and Twomaytoz Event Catering was soooooooo AMAZING, I couldn't of been happier with how the wedding turned out. I felt like they were my wedding planner as well as caterer which was great! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a 5 star caterer. The food was delicious and the servings were huge, I had so many compliments on how it was the best wedding food they have ever tasted. They let you provide your own Alcohol (they just need to serve it), this was a big savings and you get to choose what you want to serve.I got numerous catering proposals and Twomaytoz was the most affordable and they offered you so much more. The professionalism of the staff was top notch, I honestly had no wedding stress and a big part of that was because I felt 100% comfortable that Anthony and his team were going to make everything perfect, which they did :)

Twomaytoz catering did an amazing job for our wedding! The food was a hit, all our guests commented how great it was. They were professional and organized throughout the entire experience. We did all our linen, tables and chair rentals with them. It was nice to have all that and the food under one contract.
You can tell they have a lot of experience and know how to get the job done. I would definitely recommend them for any event.

We were absolutely thrilled with these guys! They were extremely professional, acted in a timely manner, and really put us at ease. We had a few extra people show up and they made the necessary adjustments the day of the wedding. We also find out others were vegetarians and they accommodated those other guests as well. Anthony and Haley were great to work with and when we offered them our thoughts and suggestions, they listened and did them. Overall, catering was never a concern of ours after we signed with them. They managed everything great and helped make our day perfect. The food is also PHENOMENAL! Every guest that we talked to after the wedding talked about how good the food was and it was the best they had ever had a wedding. Some guests still talk about it to us and it was two months ago! Great pick for a caterer and extremely happy with their service!

My husband and I just got married, and we held our reception at Cucina Paradiso (the restaurant side of Twomaytoz).

We simply couldn't be more pleased with Anthony, Jeremy and crew!

We are so glad we chose Cucina, and I would do it here all over again in a heartbeat. Its been a restaurant beloved by my family for years, and it was awesome to have the whole place to ourselves.

If you are considering hiring Cucina for catering, or for booking the restaurant, DO IT! You will be happy you did! Also, don't forget to ask about his photobooth (it was awesome!!)

When it comes down to it, my husband and I just want food that tastes amazing. It doesn't have to be fancy, just really tasty and prepared with care. Not only were we completely satisfied, but our guests were very forthcoming in their praise. You know its good when your snobby/jaded friends pull you aside to rave about the amazing lasagna. Truly, I don't remember ever eating such good lasagna.

When it comes to large banquets, you usually have to be pretty forgiving of a dinner served to 100 people at the same time. But these guys can do it, and do it well. Choosing the menu was hard, everything Anthony offered sounded so good.

Also these guys are generous! The portions are large and the bar poured very strong tasty drinks. I am drooling just remembering how good my cosmo was. It was so satisfying to know that our guests felt like they were being taken care of.

It was truly a pleasure working with Anthony. His prices are so reasonable they are practically a bargain, especially knowing the quality of service we got.

By all accounts it was a great night, we are still getting compliments. Thank you Anthony!!

I can't believe I waited this long to review Twomaytoz! They did an incredible job. A year later, people still talk about the food when they talk about our wedding. It was NOT typical boring, warmed over wedding food. It was delicious! Everyone told me I would not have time to eat as the bride, but I made time for this tasty food.

I cannot say enough good things about Anthony and the entire experience working with Twomaytoz! They did such an amazing job catering our wedding. Anthony is the best. He made me feel at ease and truly taken care of from the minute we met. They provided us with more than just delicious food, but the entire reception was run by their staff. The food was amazing, and the waiters were efficient and pleasant. They set up the entire room for us since we needed to be at the church prior to the reception and wouldn't have time in the reception space. Anthony worked very closely with my family to really personalize our menu and bar selections. My new inlaws did all of the bar planning with Anthony, and they were so impressed with him that they booked the room at Cucina Paradiso for our rehearsal dinner!! We had some concerns about not meeting our original planned number of guests, but Twomaytoz worked with us to make sure everything was great and even threw in a few extras for us! I truly felt taken care of. From the food to the service of every person involved, it was the best experience. They made our wedding day perfect in every way!

Some of our family members are already planning a trip to Cucina Paradiso next week because they liked the food so much!

This review is for Twomaytoz, the catering side of Cucina Paradiso.
They catered my wedding reception at the 19th Century Club on May 27 in Oak Park.
I have nothing but excellent things to say about them. From the beginning, Anthony was professional and up front. He didn't try to get me to spend more just because it's a wedding. He worked with my budget and gave me many options. For what they gave us, I think it was a great value. There were no surprise charges at all, everything was stated clearly and honestly.

Aside from the professionalism, the service and food were fantastic! Guest after guest told me that the food was amazing. Not just for wedding food-- they loved that it didn't even seem like wedding food. It was like eating at a great restaurant. Portions were huge, and even the vegetarian dish was outstanding. Personally, I liked it better than the meat dishes.

I had a lot of DIY decor for the reception, and gave them detailed instructions on how to set up. When my friends came to help set up, they saw that most things were already set up and complete. Things looked so great! And afterward, they packed up the things I listed and stored them in the basement for later pick up.

Their hard work made me feel like I could just enjoy the night and not stress about the little details. If you are looking for a wonderful caterer, I highly recommend them.

Twomaytoz and The 19th Century Club often do events together, so the teamwork between them is seamless. It was a great combination.

The only negative thing I could possibly say is that a couple guests commented that the bartender seemed a little crabby. A very small caveat given how many things could go wrong when planning a big event.

I recently got married in Oak Park, IL and was very excited to hear that TwoMaytoz was the caterer for our venue, as we were big fans of his restaurant Cucina Paradiso. Anthony was wonderful to work with from the very start. He was upfront about pricing from the beginning and the only vendor we could find that took care of the rentals, as well. Twomaytoz Catering provides their own tablecloths, tables, etc..(Many companies make you get all of those things from other sources.) Anthony updated us along the way and was extremely flexible when we had a few things change, very close to the wedding date. Most importantly, their food is AMAZING..it is like having a homemade feast for a fraction of the price that many other caterers charge. The portions were huge and that is hard to find for a good price. They definitely don't skimp on anything and the table set up was lovely. Very classy and elegant. On the day of, everything ran smoothly as well.
We were completely satisfied and would recommend Twomaytoz to anyone!

Anthony was incredible. We used both the catering and the photo booth. Prior to the wedding, Anthony was easy to work with, organized and responsive. At the wedding, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious (we got compliments from more guests than I can count!) and the photo booth was so much fun! Some of our guests do event planning and hire caterers frequently and they were the most impressed by the food (perfect medium rare steak!) and the service (super efficient banquet manager!).

You cannot go wrong with Anthony and Twomaytoz. We had our rehearsal dinner at his restaurant in Oak Park (Cucina Paradiso) and everything at the wedding was as delicious as the food at the restaurant. I cannot recommend them enough!

I think the best food related comment we got from our guests was "this doesn't taste like wedding chicken!". Anthony from Twomaytoz was very responsive to my emails, explained my choices and did not rush me to make a decision.

Many guests praised the food provided by Twomaytoz. The hors d'oeuvre, four-bean Tuscan soup, rustic salad, chicken marsala, and grilled salmon were all delicious. The servers were professional. Anthony and Julie were friendly and helpful.

We have only one tiny problem--there were four children and we were told they would be served mini-hamburgers along with chicken fingers, veggies, aoolesause, and a cheese-pasta dish. Somehow the min-hamburgers were missing.

But this was a small glitch in an otherwise beautiful wedding dinner at the Pleasant Home in Oak Park.

We give A+ to Twomaytoz.

When we selected our venue, we were told that the catering would be done in-house. A few months before our wedding, I learned that Twomaytoz had been selected as the new caterer for all of the events at the venue. I was nervous--for about a minute.

I worked with Anthony who was incredibly responsive, attentive, and helpful. He helped guide me through selecting the right linens and menu and always returned my calls immediately (if he wasn't able to take them right away).

The service at our wedding was spectacular. My in-laws still rave about it! One friend (who is a total foodie) still raves about the rustic salad! I was impressed with the food, the service, the professionalism of Anthony and his staff, the cost and everything in between.

I highly recommend this vendor!

Twomaytoz Catering were absolutely fantastic to work with for my wedding. I planned my wedding in Chicago from Washington DC. Anthony was exceedingly responsive to my original inquiries and thoroughly explained catering menus, staffing, and costs. Furthermore, Twomaytoz was extremely flexible in order to meet our needs. For example, they were willing to schedule our tasting outside of usual tasting times when we were in town to plan our wedding weekend. We had a fantastic experience with Twomaytoz Event Catering in every possible way. Guests at our reception (150 guests) made a point of telling us how much they enjoyed the meal, from the appetizers to the main course and dessert. Courses were served promptly but not in a rushed manner, and staff were courteous and professional. For our tasting, Julie and Anthony helped us narrow down our choices yet allowed us to have flexibility in our final decisions. Anthony and Julie of Twomaytoz Catering were unbelievably helpful to my husband and I throughout the planning of our wedding! We are not big "planners" and were both totally overwhelmed at the task before us. However, each time either of us talked to Anthony, he was so calm and reassuring about everything that he in turn calmed us down and actually helped us enjoy the whole process. He was so patient with us and very accommodating. I think he may have changed our menu 6 or 7 times before we made our final decision and never once made us feel like we were "crazy customers". In addition, we were trying to keep costs down as much as possible and they were so great in tweaking things here and there to help us stay within our budget. They were also super easy to get in touch with, either by email of phone. And have I mentioned the food?! It was AWESOME!!! They helped us put together a brunch that we are still getting rave reviews about from our family and friends! And if you can work out in your budget having the Photo Booth they rent, go for it! Our guests loved it and we look through the book a few times a week just to get a good laugh. Some of your relatives will really surprise you!
Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend Twomaytoz Catering for any event you are planning!!!!

They are great. I cannot recommend them enough. They took care of everything and I didn't have to think/worry about anything either before or during the wedding. Julie was great and the service is exceptional. Plus, the food was amazingly good. We got tons of raves from our guests about it being so good; our vegetarian friends said it was the best vegetarian meal they'd had at a wedding.

Anthony, from Twomaytoz, was very helpful and easy to work with! He was always very timely about returning our phone calls or emails. First he listened to get an idea of the type of event and atmosphere we wanted to convey. He made suggestions to help us achieve those goals. He was very practical, and never pushed us into buying or renting more than we really needed. We were able to go for a food tasting before the event. We come from Italian families and we can assure you that the food was just as good as Grandma makes!!! Maybe even better, but don't tell Grandma!! Anthony was on site throughout our event and his staff was superb! They were very professional, and helped in anyway requested. The food was delicious, the service superb, and the event was elegant without breaking our budget! Thanks for an enjoyable, stress free, wedding reception!

Anthony was great. He had worked with our venue in the past and gave us great advice on use of space and seating. His food was excellent. The servers were very professional. The evening ran like clockwork.
He was flexible regarding the menus and drinks. He had special children's meals available. I would hire Anthony and his staff again.

Anthony was spectacular! He and his crew took care of everything from food and bar service to table/linen set up. He went above and beyond for my husband and me. He was more than accommodating to us and made sure everything ran smoothly at the reception. He really made our day worry free! The food was so delicious!!! He also owns a restaurant in Oak Park called Cucina Paradiso. Delicious as well!!

Choosing 2Maytoz for catering was the best decision we made throughout all our planning! The food was fantastic. People are still raving about how delicious everything was. At first it was stretching our budget and we didn't want to pay as much as our quote, but luckily we decided to go with them because of how comprehensive their services were. With hindsight I know it was an absolute bargain! They set up the venue and cleaned it afterward, brought all the waitstaff and bartenders (who were all VERY professional and courteous), brought all the china and tablecloths and everything for the tables, arranged the BEAUTIFUL and tasty wedding cake, and kept everything on schedule throughout the reception. All we had to do was show up and they took care of everything! We had the most stress-free, fun and beautiful wedding and I know it's mainly due to the hard work and professionalism of 2MayToz. I give them my highest recommendation!

My now-husband was in charge of a few things during the wedding planning process…and picking the caterer was one! We received a recommendation from Allen, the manager of our wedding venue (Floating World Gallery). We wanted someone who was familiar with our venue, since the dinner service included a room flip during the cocktail hour.
We worked with Tricia, who was awesome communicating with us and making sure everything was planned well! She was very patient as I battled with another company about table rentals (Mand M…AVOID!!!) and had great advice overall about the flow of the day. Allen and Tricia work together often, and it was truly a well-oiled machine on the day of. I was vaguely aware of Tricia solving minor problems that night, but I wasn’t worried and was able to enjoy myself! She was so sweet getting my husband and I a drink as the bar was closing, and checking in to make sure everything was going well. The staff was very polite to guests (we did get a few complaints about the male bartender), but it was so nice to be able to trust our caterers with anything that came their way!
Oh yeah…the food was excellent (especially the caprese salad, salmon in white wine sauce and vegetable terrine!!). The "flow" of dinner was great too, no awkward waiting around or moving things too quickly. The serving staff was excellent and very polite to guests! ☺

Twomaytoz was referred to my by both my event venue and a friend who had worked for them previously. As a bride who lives abroad most of the year, Tricia and Anthony squeezed us in for a tasting and worked with us to ensure we were getting a good price (and enough food!). We wanted to incorporate a few elements from my fiancé's home country of Spain - including his star dish - and Tricia was more than willing to accommodate this into our budget. The service was exceptional: we missed cocktail hour, but I had a plate of goodies waiting for me at dinner; everyone raved about the beef tenderloin; Tricia and Anthony helped me every step of the way, and Tricia is great at delegating and helping the couple stay calm so that they can enjoy the wedding. While I did find a few cheaper options, I felt that having a responsive and experienced caterer was worth the extra spending, and I was not disappointed. I would certainly recommend Twomaytoz for events of any size!

Delicious food and great service!

This catering team had delicious food and great service. Our guests loves the food and passed appetizers during cocktail hour. They even allow you to bring your own alcohol and purchase a mixer package from them to save a little bit of money. There were a few mix ups with the table settings and a few tables didn’t have enough chairs. But besides that it was a great experience.

We used Twomaytoz Event Catering for our wedding on August 9th. Tricia was more than professional and met everyone of our needs. She even made sure I was eating. Everyone of my guests said the food was amazing. The set up and clean up went smoothly. Tricia was working our event and we felt there was nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this catering company.

They catered our wedding. The food was phenomenal! The only real problem that we had was the servers that were provided to help put the food out were more distracted by talking to each other, that my mom had to ask them to put out food when we ran out. Other than that, we loved it!

Food was top notch and every detail was met. They accomadated my guests food allergies and everyone had a great time. People still talk about the food at our wedding. It was made fresh and the presentation was perfect.

I would recommend Twomaytoz Event Catering to anyone and everyone I know. Anthony and his staff are complete pros. They took care of me every step of the way, answered questions quickly, and gave an honest opinion when needed. You won't get any bull from them.

My wedding was at the 19th Century Club in Oak Park, which Twomaytoz does events at nearly every weekend. They know the space and can provide help/advice on layout. If there are no competing events in the space, they are willing to set up your tables, etc. early so you don't have to worry about it day-of.

The food was DELICIOUS and the bar service was fast and friendly. All the table linens were included with my package, and they looked great. Their packages are not cheap, but for me, it was worth the price. My guests were well taken-care of and went away well-fed and watered/boozed.

I also recommend you ask about their associated photobooth service - you will not regret having a photobooth! I have so many fun picture of my older, straight-laced relatives that I wouldn't have had otherwise. The price was reasonable and again the service was great.

Anthony and Tricia with TwoMayToz were so helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process. They were responsive, open to ideas, substitutions, and helped us work with our budget. Their set up of our venue was beautiful, and people were commenting on how it was the some of the best wedding food they had had (that is was good, let alone good for "wedding food"!). I'd use them again, and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Tricia and Anthony for helping us and everyone we love have a great night.

I used Tomatoz catering for my wedding in September. Everyone raved about the food, and the baker Anthony recommended made an amazing cake that looked and tasted exactly like I wanted.

I would have appreciated a little more communication at different intervals during the process, but I had enough initiative to make sure things were progressing well enough.

Over-all it was a very good choice
