Sarah is truly an artist, and Two of Us was easily the best choice we made out of all of our wedding vendors. We knew the moment we found her that her photography style was for us - her photos convey so much life and joy. From our first call with her, she was professional, enthusiastic, and kind. We had a long engagement, and Sarah was always there to answer any questions we had or provide tips. We got to meet up with her for dinner closer to our wedding, and it felt like reuniting with an old friend. She captured both our Friday night welcome events and our entire day on Saturday with her amazing assistant Em, and we are so glad we chose Two of Us. Sarah had worked at our venue, Ohana Family Camp, often and knew the place like the back of her hand. She set up an awesome first look spot along the waterfront, took us out to the dock, and found secret spots within the woods for more photos. Most impressively, she captured our rambunctious puppy sitting still on camera! She suggested stealing away for a few photos at golden hour and those are some of our favorites from the entire weekend - she and Em captured the light magnificently. It is clear she finds deep joy in what she does, and spending the day with Two of Us was so pleasant, laid-back, stress free, and fun! The final photos are beyond wedding photography that takes your standard group shots and bride and groom photos - she captured every single aspect of how our day felt, telling our story through her work. Everyone at our wedding is raving about her skill and how beautifully the photos come out. Of course, the quality of our photos is the most important, but we are also so lucky that Sarah has a super quick turnaround time - faster than anyone we've heard of or friends have worked with! The sneak peek blog post allowed us to see the magic within days of getting married, and was so special.These photos will be treasured for years to come, and we couldn’t imagine choosing anyone else to work with for such an important event in our lives. From the moment I met Sarah for an introductory Zoom call, she was nothing but supportive, delightful, and reliable. Her photography style is unique, not cookie-cutter, and she's so good at responding to and capturing the essence of the day. We had a very out-of-the-ordinary wedding and she instantly got and vibed with our vision. She is exceptionally skilled at connecting with people. I felt instantly comfortable with her and felt I had a friend alongside us the whole time! She not only helped to capture it through her art, but also helped us bring it to life through the conversations we had leading up to the wedding and many helpful (never pushy or unwelcome) suggestions. The photos turned out stunning. But she went above and beyond in so many other ways. She was responsive and helpful even when my coordinator at the venue and other vendors were not, from suggesting local flower farms, to talking me through the flow of the day based on her extensive experience with weddings. On the day of the wedding she was almost invisible but didn't miss a beat (and somehow orchestrated dozens of people to be in place for all of our group shots without us hardly realizing it). Two of Us was admittedly a "splurge" in our budget, but a good value compared to other photographers of her caliber, especially considering her packages include two photographers. At any rate, it was totally worth it, as we will treasure the photos for the rest of our lives. -

Two of Us (Sarah and Jeff) are well worth it. If you are on the fence, please book them now. You won't be disappointed! Sarah was a special part of my wedding. It was like she was my best friend even though I had just met her! She is the kindest, most hard working, creative, and professional photographer out there. The photos themselves came out beautifully. Her artistic style is really unmatched. I am serious when I say she was by far our best wedding "vendor" -- book them now! -

Sarah and her husband make a dynamic duo, and we couldn't have been happier with our wedding photos. They have such an artful eye and attention to detail. It was important to use that we didn't have your "typical" wedding photos but still had frameable classic moments to share with our families. It rained on our wedding day, but Sarah found a way to use it to our advantage and achieved beautiful images. Thank you so much! -

Sarah is so unbelievably talented and I'm so glad we found her!! Two of Us was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding because we just loved the style so much after seeing their photos from a friend's wedding. We first booked them just a few weeks before COVID and throughout rescheduling and coordinating logistics (we got married in Baltimore), Sarah was always so easy to work with and so kind.
I personally feel super awkward when posing for photos but Sarah's vibe and energy just makes you feel comfortable and more relaxed. She finds the perfect balance between silly and professional and she is so much fun to work with. We were able to hang out with her a few times before our wedding which was so wonderful because she's awesome but it was also so nice to feel like a friend is with you capturing those intimate moments on your special day and not just a random vendor who knows nothing about you. I know our wedding party/immediate family loved working with her too!
On the wedding day she came early to scope out our venue and found some beautiful spots for our photos. When it came time for our few posed photos, she was super timely and I even got to enjoy most of my cocktail hour! She also happily accommodated our request for film photos which I am so excited to see!
We've only seen a few photos so far (which she miraculously was able to share just two days after our wedding), but they are absolutely amazing. She captured so many beautiful photos of our friends and family and I'm so excited to share them with everyone! -

Sarah was with us through the whole ride- she was the first vendor I booked and I knew I wanted her to photograph my wedding before I even met my husband :) Sarah was so supportive and jumped through hoops for us even though we had to reschedule twice due to COVID-19. She was flexible and positive and was such a calming presence on the day everything actually happened! After everything we had been through we felt defeated, but I wanted pictures that were powerful and hopeful and fun to show that 2020 had not broken us. She came through BIG TIME. Sarah captured our genuine spirits and wasn’t afraid to take some risks to get some fun shots for our engagement and wedding photos. We love her! -

Stop searching and hire them!!!
My husband and I felt strongly that we wanted to have heirloom quality, keepsake photos. We did a LOT of shopping. We had referrals, referrals from referrals, and so on. Literally the MOMENT we landed on Sarah and Jeff's website, we knew they were the ones for us. Their photos are objectively stunning, natural, and truly capture the mood & feeling of a wedding without being staged. Admittedly, our initial budget was slightly lower than what their cost is, but I cannot stress this enough: booking with Sarah and Jeff is worth SO much more than the cost alone. Sarah went above and beyond to meet with us, help us brainstorm alternatives (COVID wedding!), consider floral arrangements, and so on. I felt that I could reach out and connect with them at any time. When we had to reschedule our big reception because of COVID, Sarah worked with us (and our budget) to drive down from Vermont - to New Jersey - for a small ceremony in my parents backyard. When I say that I am blown away by the level of attention we received, I truly mean it. You will NOT find a higher quality photographer or a kinder duo to hire. Sarah and Jeff were an absolute pleasure to work with. And - as a bonus - they'll still be photographing our reception next summer! Feel free to reach out to me about this, as I cannot find all the words to express how grateful we are to Two of Us Photography.
TLDR: Book with them now!!
EDIT: Updating because they also photographed our postponed reception this summer. Could not be more thrilled. We could go on and on. Hire this duo - it'll be the best decision you'll make for wedding, because we look at our photos all the time. -

Jessica Sent on 10/07/2020Unforgettable Mountaintop Elopement Experience
Where do I begin in my praise and appreciation for Sarah's thoughtful capture of our elopement?! From our first interactions via email and phone, I immediately felt comfortable with Sarah: she knew exactly the questions to ask, tips to offer, and ways to ease us into the unknown - we had never visited the site of our elopement, Mt. Mansfield, and she gave us every comfort in preparing for the big day! She asked for any inspiration photos we may have wanted to emulate in terms of poses or style, and was so strategic in recreating them on the day, but in a way that was uniquely ours. Sarah's kindness and fun personality made her an instant friend - we felt as though we'd hung out with her a million times after only a few moments together. We could not be happier with our photos. Our family was sad to miss the event, but were instantly re-energized after seeing Sarah's gorgeous photos of pre/during/post ceremony.
100/10 would recommend working with Two Of Us Photo for your special occasion.

If you're getting married anywhere, you should hire Sarah and Jeff. They are absolutely incredible the entire time. They answer questions quickly and help you decide which package is best for you. After we signed, we had decided to not do engagement photos, but we still wanted to meet prior. Sarah met with us for 2 hours where we got to know each other and really hash out the vibe we wanted for our wedding and our photography plan for the day. As the day got closer, we changed our plan and Sarah was like "that's great, let's go with it!". She has the laid back, can do attitude you need on your wedding day.
On the day of the wedding, I started getting anxious and texted her about how much time we had and she offered to come early to help with my anxiety. I ended up not needing her to, but her willingness was so appreciated. We got married on February 29th in Vermont and wanted outdoor photos. It was about 25 degrees and sunny out. Sarah and Jeff had the perfect coordination to get our photos done outside without anyone freezing. So many from my family and wedding party told me how much they loved Sarah and Jeff.
Within days of our wedding, Sarah posted an amazing blog post featuring over 15 photos from our wedding. IT WAS INCREDIBLE. I don't know anyone who got a sneak peak that quickly from their wedding. THEN, all of our photos were uploaded and sent to us 30 days later. I had access to all of them so quickly, it was amazing. (Not sure if they offer this quick turn around during peak season, but I know she does the sneak peak!). On top of it, Sarah did all of the uploading of the large photos during the COVID quarantine from her car at the library. Her dedication is absolutely unmatched.
The photos they deliver are beautiful depictions of our wedding day. My husband and I aren't great being posed, and we didn't get posed at all. We just acted like ourselves and they were able to capture. We look very photographic in the photos! We didn't get a videographer, but wanted to make sure we were able to see different points of view of our wedding. Sarah and Jeff gave us so many beautiful shots of us, our friends and family and just the whole day.
Go with Sarah and Jeff, you won't regret it. I'm currently struggling to not print 100 photos to display in our little apartment. -

They are true professionals of their craft -- it's just a bonus that they're also down-to-earth, fun people to hang out with. They take the time to get to know their subjects before your wedding, which showed us they meant business, and makes for fantastic candid photography on your big day & an easy working relationship. Sarah and Jeff are incredible and their candid, photojournalistic style is unmatched. From our first conversation, Sarah was friendly, funny, organized, and prompt. On the day of the wedding, they were very timely and easygoing. Their friendly, laid-back demeanor helped to keep the day totally stress-free and moving smoothly. We’re not naturals in front of the camera, but they made it easy for us to relax and be ourselves, so they could capture who we are—and they nailed it, perfectly embodying the essence of our relationship and our wedding day. Sarah and Jeff did a great job fading into the background while still taking control and providing direction when needed. After seeing the photos, we wondered how they captured specific moments, as we didn’t even realize they were there at the time. They spotted unique locations and lighting that blew us away. Their photos are perfection with fantastic focus, gorgeous use of light, and striking compositions—pieces of art, rather than just wedding portraits. Not only are they talented photographers, but Sarah and Jeff are also wonderful people who we’re now lucky to call our friends. -

Hands down our favorite vendor from our wedding
Sarah and Jeff were awesome during every step of our wedding planning process. In our initial phone call, Sarah was warm, friendly and answered my list of questions without skipping a beat. She came down a few months later to Massachusetts to take our engagement photos and by the end of the session, we not only felt comfortable with her photography style, but we felt like we made a new friend (even our dog, Frida, enjoyed getting some photos taken!). A few months before the wedding we met up with Sarah and Jeff for lunch and went over details (what kind of group photos we wanted taken, etc.). A few days before the wedding, Sarah met us at our venue to do a walkthrough and to discuss rain plans (forecast was 90% chance of rain). The idea of rain didn’t worry Sarah at all, and I appreciated her ideas for alternative first look and family picture locations. Luckily, although the sky was black and ominous when we woke up, the rain held off all day and Sarah and Jeff were amazing! Our guests enjoyed chatting with them throughout the day and the shots they were able to capture were unbelievable. They both have great energy, they feed off of one another so well, and they have this incredible vision for poses that, at the time, feel very awkward (don’t worry, they’ll tell you), but that come out looking SO good. Travis and I would recommend them 1000% to anyone looking for a laid back, creative, professional and all-around awesome couple to photograph their special day. -

Sarah and Jeff are awesome! From the beginning to the end, we felt understood and well taken care of. They are both so kind, chill and organized. Day of, we obviously were with them a lot and they not only guided us through beautiful photo creation but kept us in happy calm spirits. Somehow they were everywhere but we never felt like they were in our face and captured moments that we’ll never forget. 10/10 would recommend! -

When I contacted Sarah about photographing our wedding, we clicked immediately. After talking on the phone, she suggested we meet in person before we signed a contract and drove all the way to Boston to meet us! From talking to her and seeing more of her work, I knew that she and Jeff would be a good match for our wedding. After taking our engagement photos, I knew I had picked the best photographers for us. Sarah listened to what we wanted (lots of candids and natural looking photos that weren't obviously staged) and delivered. Sarah eased our nerves and kept us laughing the entire time. There were times that I forgot we were being photographed! The photos were so good that we couldn't choose just one for our save the date, so we sent out four different images.
In the lead up to our wedding, Sarah checked in regularly and would respond to emails within hours. On the day of the wedding, Sarah and Jeff again listened to our requests and delivered. Our photos are so beautiful. I can't stop looking at them. They managed to capture the essence of our relationship in photographs, and I will be forever grateful. They both have a knack for figuring out where the lighting is and for taking unique and artsy photos. Not only that, but they also have an eye for catching natural, emotional, and the small, but meaningful moments. Aside from photographing my husband and me, they did a fantastic job photographing our guests' reactions to things and captured the fun that they were having, which was very important to us. Furthermore, they do an outstanding job of somehow being close to the action, but without getting in everyone's way.
Bottom line: Sarah and Jeff are super talented, personable, and reasonably priced (essentially two photographers for the price of one!). If you are looking for beautiful photos of yourself and your guests taken by two awesome people, then look no further! Hire them! -

I found Sarah and Jeff from a website that featured a wedding they shot. I emailed them, and within 48 hours we were on the phone with Sarah. I had to keep reminding myself I was talking to a wedding vendor - it felt so much like catching up with a good friend! We hired them the same day. We spoke a few times between then and the weekend of the wedding, and each time we were more and more excited to meet them. Turns out, they're just as awesome as they sound on the phone. Our wedding day was extra-chill, and they blended right in with the vibe. They weren't uptight, didn't pressure us to have certain traditional shots, and they fit right in with our friends and wedding guests. They are so personable, genuine, laid-back, and just freaking COOL. And the photos! WOW. Their talent is remarkable. I'm so glad we chose photographers with photojournalism backgrounds, because in addition to the traditional group photos and portraits, they captured so many little candid moments, and those moments made up the very best parts of our wedding day. I wish we could have a second wedding just so we could hire them again! -

To say that choosing Jeff and Sarah to shoot our wedding was our best decision would be a massive understatement. We had the most incredible time with them not just on our wedding day, but also in the year leading up to our wedding. Sharing mood boards, color studies and getting together over wine and cheese to meet before our day. In simple terms - they just get it. They quickly caught on to the vibe we wanted and captured our wedding in a way that was too perfect for words. One of our vendors said it well when she gushed "I have to say they are some of the most captivating images I’ve ever seen." We lucked out with a perfect grey, misty and romantic day, but Sarah and Jeff quietly and perfectly captured every moment we would have ever wanted. They are true storytellers that way. The full day unfolds before your eyes, not just as a recap but as a beautiful narrative and feeling. It was as if they were everywhere and nowhere all at once which is a hard thing to achieve at a busy but intimate wedding! They even seemed to quickly pick up on who the most important guests and family, wedding details and scenes and managed to capture candid photos of all - leaving no stone unturned. If we could do it all over again, we would choose them again *without hesitation*. -

I cannot say enough good things about Sarah and Jeff!!! They were truly amazing to work with from the day I reached out to them to THIS day when we see them at weddings (because our friends keep hiring them)! Sarah was incredibly responsive, attentive and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. To get to know the space and surrounding area of our venue, Sarah and Jeff made a special trip down to Boston to scope out potential photo and first look spots so we would have a plan (and back-up plan) the day of our wedding. We first met Sarah and Jeff at a friends wedding and were captivated by the outcome of their wedding photos. We knew we wanted the same candid style and that’s exactly what they delivered!! Our expectations were not only met, they were greatly exceeded. My husband and I are not in love with being in front of the camera but Sarah and Jeff made us feel totally comfortable and natural...something that isn’t easy to do!! On the day of, Sarah and Jeff were incredibly prompt and organized. They knew exactly where to go and at what time to be there at. Sarah takes time to get to know you and your style, and helps you figure it out if you’re not quite sure. They truly went above and beyond. I am forever grateful that they were able to capture our big day and that we have their beautiful photographs to look back at for memories :) -

Tiffani Sent on 08/12/2018Sarah & Jeff... we have struggled to sit down to write this review for almost a year because we have no idea how to express our love, gratitude and awe of your work. However, we realized it’s been almost a year and decided to do the best we can to describe how awesome you are.
To start off, Sarah and Jeff were extremely warm when we met them and we immediately fell in love with them. They became one of our favorite parts of the wedding process. They are prepared and clearly knowledgeable about how to perfectly execute picture-taking without interrupting the big day. They were directive when taking pictures for engagement sessions and the day of the wedding which was super helpful for us when ONE of us has awkward body positions ;). Sarah and Jeff were able to take our ideas and suggestions and make them more beautiful then we could have imagined. We are obsessed with every picture from the wedding and our engagement session. Every moment captured is absolutely artistic and beautiful and so real. Each picture is an amazing representation of how the day felt. We have had multiple compliments on our wedding pictures, and every time we look back at them, we are brought back to the feeling of that moment.
Not only is their photography talent unmatched, Sarah and Jeff became instant members of our group, who we wanted to include in our day and were sad to see them go when they left! They were so much fun to hang out with. It was so relieving to be pulled away with them immediately following the ceremony and have our first few minutes together as a married couple with such a relaxed, joyous yet focused duo. We would recommend Sarah and Jeff to everyone for EVERY occasion and whenever life’s next big event happens, they will be the first people we call to capture the moment and share the good news.
We heart you Sarah and Jeff and sorry for the delay...we still don’t feel there are the appropriate words to tell everyone how amazing you are.

Morgan Sent on 01/06/2018Exquisite! Sarah and Jeff were a dream to work with. Not to mention they are incredibly talented photographers. They captured every moment of our wedding; getting ready, the surroundings, the ceremony, and breaking it down on the dance floor! Sarah is a true professional and dedicated to her business. She came to Boston from Vermont twice, to meet with us and just get to know us better. Sarah and Jeff are excellent listeners and capture exactly what you ask them to, with their professional eye bringing it to the next level! It rained on our wedding day, but that did not stop Sarah and Jeff from getting soaking wet to make sure they got the best angle. They helped facilitate our first look in the rain, with umbrellas and a plan that worked seamlessly. This was without cell phone service too!! They role with whatever is thrown at them, with a smile and a positive outlook. The whole day/night I forgot they were there, as they blended with the crowd but captured everything. Their delivery of the photos was quick and beautifully presented in a personalized box. I couldn't speak more highly or recommend Sarah and Jeff more. They are photographer rockstars!
