Lauren Sent on 10/04/2016Amy and her crew did an amazing job! Everyone was blown away with the preview pictures that she posted. We cant wait to see all of the final pictures! Great personality and very professional. Will be going back to her for any of our photography needs in the future! Absolutely amazing! -
User1291128 Sent on 08/18/2013As I sit here I am trying to find the words to start this review because I don't know where to start. I guess I will start pre wedding. Once my daughter put the deposit down she had a very hard time getting return calls, emails and text. I told my daughter many times to look for someone else.
On the last visit with Amy my husband went with my daughter and they discussed three important pictures that we would like done. A family picture, a picture of me and my husband and pictures of my son who is Autistic. The family picture was to be done at the reception. The family picture was never taken she did 2 pictures of my son with my daughter and son in law that were exactly the same. Those were the only 2 pictures my son was in. We were not there when she took them.
Two months later we saw all the pictures I noticed there were only 2 pictures taken of me and my husband. Neither one of those photos would be something anyone would hang in their home. I posted on Amy's fb asking if she had any other pictures of us her reply was "A picture of the brides parents is not a required shot on their list" and "They do their best to get the important images". REALLY! I would think a picture of the brides parents and the grooms parents would be a fairly important image. Seems like pictures of the parents were avoided.
When she did get the picture that my son she said they couldn't find everyone to do a family photo. Funny thing is we were ALWAYS with the guests I never even used the bathroom. All she had to do was ask someone to go get us
The quality of the photos were poor. Few had that crisp look to them. Others were grainy and blurry A lot were not centered Pictures of the bridal party she cut the left part of the picture off so who ever was on the left got their arm cut off. She also seemed to have to much room above pictures and ended up cutting legs off below the knee.
Those 3 pictures were very important to us that is why we requested them.Twin Shutterbug Studios's reply:

We try our best to capture every requested image, but a wedding is an uncontrolled event. Things happen and people are pulled away. An image of the bride's parents together is not typically on a standard list of must have images, but we would have gladly taken such image if it had been requested of us. We are allotted a set amount of time for formal portraits which are done after the ceremony, and we need everyone that is to be in the photos to be present at that time. If someone is missing, we will then attempt to get that photo at the reception, as was the case with your son. We did our very best to get what images we could of him. We were available at the reception to take an image of your family with your son and had you asked at that time, we would have happily accommodated you. We do not avoid taking pictures of anyone, as we document the day as it is happening. We always ask the bride and groom before we leave if there are any other images they need from us before we go. We even stayed a little longer than intended, and provided more proofs than was included in the package. As to the quality of the images-they are of the same high standard we provide to all of our couples. The images that we captured were professional and in the style that we were hired to take them.
