Javier is an absolute party animal!! He brought so much amazing, lighthearted, and positive energy from day one. He catered seamlessly to all our special and unique requests, and checked in on us periodically throughout the night of the wedding to make sure everything was on track. Javier at Tux Cat was amazing! Javier is so helpful and responsive. From the time we booked him two years ago to our wedding day he was there for us if we ever had any questions. The online portal is a huge plus which made adding songs and making payments super easy. The photo booth was also a ton of fun. He came with props and everything and all the guests loved it.. the pictures are hilarious. He helped the day flow and suggested adjustments as needed and everything went smoothly. The dance floor was packed all night( this was a fear of mine as we didn't have many young people at the wedding) People who I would have never expected to be on the dance floor were out for every song!!! Javier was an incredible addition to our wedding! One of his most profound qualities is his energy. Additionally to this, his work ethic and professionalism were unmatched. On our wedding day, he flawlessly executed our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, which all took place in different locations. He also communicated any changes or announcements with us and all of our vendors. After dinner, Javier kept the dance floor packed with great music and a beautiful setup! Maximum Fun, no stressin!
Our wedding could not have been more perfect without Javier! From our initial meeting to the end of the wedding, he made EVERYTHING extremely easy. His highest priority was making sure Ben and I were having a great time and not having to stress over the details, especially day of. The online portal allowed us to make tweaks when we had time to do so, and Javier set up periodic check-in meetings to keep us on track with planning. Javier brought up and asked questions about details we had not considered and those details were huge in the success of the day. Having a walk through with him at our venue was extremely helpful as well. Everyone that came to the wedding can not stop talking about how much fun they had. Javier had all our guests dancing and enjoying themselves the entire night! He can really read a room to maximize the fun level. Thank you Javier for making sure our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. You helped make it so very special!

We could not be happier with our decision to have Javier as our DJ for our wedding! He made the music portion of the wedding process so easy. His online portal allowed us to feel included in choosing a lot of our own music. He was a great MC and kept the night flowing smoothly. He was there for anything we needed or requested throughout the evening. His sound and lighting were impeccable, and at a very reasonable price to some others we were quoted. The BEST DJ out there!!!
I truly cannot say enough about Javier and the party he brought to my husband and I's special day.
From the moment we met him, Javier was friendly, professional, and made it clear that he was there to make our day even better. We had multiple conversations throughout the planning project and each time Javier made Russ and I both comfortable and excited for our day.
The night of rehearsal dinner Javier was great at letting us know what to do and where to stand. At the last minute I changed some of the ceremony songs and Javier was easily able to accommodate those changes no problem.
When the big day finally came, Javier did an amazing job playing all the right songs and having everything flow and run smoothly. He was a great DJ and MC all night long, especially during the shoe game which my husband and I chose to do instead of a traditional bouquet and garter toss. When is was finally party time, we had the time of our lives!! The mix of current day songs as well as older classics was perfect for our guests. I literally danced for hours and never once disliked a song he chose. All of our guest raved about Javier and the music. We are SO happy with Javier and Tux Cat Ent.! If you need a DJ for any special event we HIGHLY recommend him!

High Energy DJ
We hired DJ Javier for our 07/16/22 wedding. He's very friendly, high energy and was truly excited for our big day! We met a few times via Zoom and he was also there to answer many questions up until our wedding day.
On our wedding day, he arrived early and set up his equipment. He did a great job with announcements and last minute changes.
He kept our guests entertained and engaged. He stuck to our no play list even though some guests asked multiple times lol.
We're so fortunate and blessed he was available our date.

You rock tux cat!
A co worker of mine recommended Javier for our wedding this past January 2022. I contacted Javier and immediately received an email back from him. We chatted about my wedding, only three-four months away at the time. Luckily, he was available! Javier's website was easy to maneuver and was nice to make payments thru it. He responded very quickly with any questions. We did a web call prior to the wedding and we went over everything. We did have some changes after this meeting and he was very accommodating. He came out to our rehearsal the day before the wedding to check out the venue and assist us with ceremony procession, which was very nice of him to come out! He was awesome the day of! He was there early, had all his own equipment. He continuously checked on us all day to make sure we were doing great and that the day was going smooth. He made the dance floor a blast the day of our wedding! He even stayed a little late for my husband and I to have our last dance together without any guests. He was truly a great entertainer and if we could relive that day over, Javier would be first on our list for vendors! Thank you so much!

We were looking for an affordable DJ when looking to book for our Wedding. Tux Cat Entertainment was the most reasonable priced we found. Javier made the entire planning process so easy when it came to working with a DJ and figuring scheduling and playlists. He was extremely quick in responses, checked in with us frequently and made everything so seamless.
Wedding day, Javier did the music for our ceremony and reception. He kept people on the dance floor all night long, was a great MC, our guests and us kept talking about how great our DJ was for our wedding.

Not only was Javier excellent but in such a stressful time for wedding planning he was BY FAR my most communicative vendor.

As a wedding guest, I’m a little judgy about the dj since they set the whole tone for the wedding. I truly could not have asked for a better wedding dj. I live out of town, so I only had one video call with Javier before the wedding, and exchanged some emails around songs and logistics. When I talked with him before the ceremony, my cousin asked if we had known each other before the wedding because Javier’s energy is so disarming, authentic, and FUN. He was flexible and calm when some of my details were missed or weren’t going according to plan, and was quick to pivot seamlessly so no one but us knew anything was amiss. And since he was calm, I was calm… so I guess you could say Javier is a bride whisperer! 😂 We had the most amazing time, and more than one guest told me it was the best wedding they’ve been to. I can not stress enough how amazing Javier is for your special day. As a stressed bride in the midst of planning he made this process so easy! My husband and I chose Javier to DJ our wedding on 8/14/21 in Buffalo NY and from the moment we inquired to the time he said good night to us, the experience working with him was absolutely fantastic. He played exactly what we wanted (and more importantly he didn't play what we didn't want!) and I really felt like he had our best interest in mind the entire time. Javier is fun and exciting and keeps people on the dance floor. He also is professional and organized during all of the planning leading up to your event and put us at ease from our first call with him that we chose the right DJ. He was kind and respectful to hold our religious and cultural traditions throughout our wedding as we had an interfaith Christian and Jewish ceremony and reception. He was on it when it came to holding our timeline and our guests had nothing but great things to say about him as well! Javier was super friendly and responsive, and flexible when we had to change our date due to COVID. We only did music, no lighting or photobooth. Pricing was very reasonable for how much Javier went above and beyond! I gave him the basic songs we wanted for the ceremony and reception, and he did the rest. Our timeline was thrown off day-of and we had to adjust as we went along. Javier was a total pro and a great emcee through every bump in the road! Our wedding was outdoors in August in Buffalo, so it was super humid and super hot. But the music he played was so great, people still danced! I cannot recommend Javier highly enough. I would hire him in a heartbeat for any event, and you should too!

From the very start of email communications, Javier truly exceeded all expectations. He helped us with planning our timeline of the day and helped ease any concerns, especially during unpredictable COVID wedding planning times. Amazing DJ and Emcee!
Javier was highly responsive and accommodating during a period where so much was uncertain, as we planned a small wedding for 10/31/20. He was highly professional in helping us with our day-of timeline and music selections. We felt so comfortable knowing that he knew the order of events and would keep us on track on our big day, and he did! Many of our guests complimented his attentiveness and it was much appreciated. We can’t recommend him enough!

Best DJ ever!
DJ Javier was so professional and helpful during the planning process. I was having trouble finding a photographer I liked and he sent me a few photographers he's worked with and I was able to find a photographer I loved. Once COVID-19 came Javier checked in with me periodically to see how we were doing. Our wedding day ran so smooth and he was on top of everything! He checked in with me and my husband throughout the night and made sure we were doing ok. Please don't feel like you need to spend thousands of dollars to get a quality DJ. I would absolutely hire Tux Cat Entertainment again!

Perfect reception!
Javier was wonderful to work with during the whole wedding planning process! He made it so easy and checked in as we got closer to the big day! The night went smoothly because of him. He kept all our guests on the dance floor and checked in throughout the night to make sure we were happy with everything! So happy we had Javier as our DJ!

Amazing DJ!
I couldn't be happier with how amazing and smooth our wedding went all thanks to our dj. I highly recommend booking your next event with tux cat entertainment!! He checked on us numerous times throughout the night just to make sure we were good. He even went out of his way to track down our photographer, when we weren't sure where she was. His service is above and beyond! Couldn't be any happier with our choice.

Javier was amazing throughout the whole process of wedding planning. Since the moment we booked with him I was impressed with his work. He wanted to set up meetings with us and discuss exactly what we wanted. He was very flexible when it came to having our web chats which was perfect because my now husband and I had crazy work schedules! Communicating with him was great! I always felt that I could message him at any moment with questions or concerns and he would get back so quickly. He is very organized and that helped a lot the day of the wedding. He worked great with the people at my venue and the whole wedding was perfect and things flowed very smoothly. The day before the wedding I realized our first dance song had 2 versions and I freaked out at first, messaged Javier right away to make sure it was the correct version and heade sure to get back right away and that was amazing! He is also is very reasonably priced which made us happy as well. I would 100% recommend Javier! Anytime someone asks for a DJ he will always be the one I will recommend. Overall, a great DJ and our wedding was amazing! Also, a great guy who will make sure everything you want to hear is heard!! Thank you so much Javier!!

From the very beginning, Javier was amazing. We were very particular about our music, and he immediately got what we were trying to go for. His website was easy (and fun!) to use. He was very professional and his experience was helpful when trying to figure out the order of the day. When we were unsure about the timeline, Javier had many suggestions based on previous weddings, but was in full support our unconventional ideas. When it came to day of, when I was flustered and the timeline shifted a bit, Javier was there to calm me down and say “I got this.” The music was fun and the dance floor was never empty. 10/10

Don't bother with anyone else; this is your DJ!
From start to finish, Javier was fun and professional! When we first contacted him, he happily agreed to perform at our fusion Indian-American wedding without any hesitation despite never having done one before. We loved that we never (seriously, not even once!) had to prompt him to follow-up on an email or call. In fact, he was so organized, that he was checking-in on us!
He provided more than music at the dance reception. He helped with planning the timeline, providing music suggestions, and coordinating the event with his enthusiastic MC skills. He answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns with ease.
Our guests also loved him because he was incredibly flexible and took their Bollywood music requests. He kept all of our guests dancing and entertained throughout the night.
Javier was the perfect choice for our wedding. We completely trusted him because every single thing he does leading up the actual wedding day proves that he is entirely reliable and will add to a stress-free day, which he did. We couldn’t imagine having anyone else, and we seriously loved having him every step along the way!

I hired Javier to DJ my reception & it was the best decision! Javier was friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. From the beginning phases of planning to the night of, it was such a breeze. I hired Javier of Tux Cat Entertainment for my son's wedding this weekend. I was impressed from start to finish. He communicated with me exactly enough, he was affordable and stayed true to his original quote. He answered our questions, met with us twice, tweaked songs to be what we wanted them to be, was flexible when time/circumstances altered the order of things, was professional the entire time, and everyone had a lot of fun! As the photographer at a wedding with him , Javier went above and beyond to be sure of the happiness of the bride and groom!! He made sure everything was organized on my end and as well as his to make sure that everything ran smoothly!! I couldn't have asked to work with a better DJ during a wedding !!

Javier was wonderful to work with! being able to make selections on his online website made planning my Rochester wedding from Buffalo a breeze! Fantastic guy but didn't play anything we requested
Javier is a super friendly guy with a great attitude. He stepped as the MC and lead alot of things our venue coordinator didn't explain. He met with us several times before the wedding and has a very advanced website to organize music. He was on time and was very affordable. There was only one problem though and it was a big one: he didn't play any of the dance or cocktail music we requested. My wife and I spent a long time chosing songs we knew our guests would enjoy, but not one was played. He did play the correct music for the procession, recession, and introductions. When one of our guests requested a song (my wife's father) he had to demand it 3 times before Javier was willing to play it. Music sets the mood and although he did play fun songs that people enjoyed, it wasn't the mood we envisioned for our wedding. If you're looking for a DJ to play music, Javier's your guy. If your looking for someone to help bring your dream wedding to life, pass.
