The staff at Rivermarket was great! Maggie helped us and answered all 500 of our questions promptly. They handles all the little bumps throughout the day for us and the staff was so easy to work with. Great venue!!

I enjoyed my wedding experience at the River Market. However, please be clear with the managers about your catering. At the last moment, I was notified that my caterer had to complete many extra forms and go through a lot to even cater the event. I was notified of this one month before the wedding. Granted, I had secured the venue one year before.
It worked out, but it was a hassle that I didn't appreciate. Nor did I appreciate the suggestion to select a different catering company because of their "oversight." Overall, it's a nice venue and will be great for your wedding. Just be clear about the details of your agreement and any changes especially if you book in advance.

This place is the best venue in Tuscaloosa for a wedding. The rental comes with tables and chairs, so that saves you money right there. The staff is super friendly and flexible. They helped me every step of the way. My suggestion is to go with a Friday or Sunday wedding if you book them because the farmers market is on Saturday and it will limit your time in the venue for setting up. We had ours on Friday and were able to basically be there all day. I lived how everything looked for the ceremony and reception. It is a beautiful place!

We used the Tuscaloosa River Market as our reception venue and it could not have been more perfect. The price is incredible compared to every other venue we looked at and their staff is so accommodating and easy to work with. The venue gives you an outdoor feel without having to have a completely outdoor reception. The views are beautiful on the river, which made for great pictures. We would definitely recommend this venue.

It was a beautiful space, and the managers were good to work with. The only downside was how busy they are because I had a very limited time to set up and decorate before the wedding reception.
