Turning Stone was absolutely fabulous! Everything was perfect and well done. The staff are so kind and always offer the best service / solution. We worked with Matthew Rose and he was amazing! He always responded quickly to any of my emails and made sure no detail was left behind. He was there every step of the way and helped make our day special and seamless!! 10/10 would recommend!

Every moment of our wedding at The Turning Stone was beyond magical. From our initial consultation up until our big day, the Turning Stone was accommodating, available, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about providing a top-notch wedding experience with no single detail forgotten. All of these experiences were curated at the hands of our unbelievable, incredible service manager Quiana Morgan. There are not enough words to describe the experience Quiana provided us. She was beyond knowledgeable about the wedding industry and guided us through every single question we had, from linens to hotel blocks and everything in between. Clearly putting her brides first, Quiana was available to answer any question I had at any time of the day. Quiana and her team then curated the most stunning venue for us at our reception, which was so perfectly done that it brought me to tears— it was clear Quiana took every detail we talked about to heart and made it happen. Throughout our planning, Quiana transcended from our planner to a friend, which is a true testament to her care and compassion for procuring the most perfect experience for her couples. When reflecting on our wedding, there is not a single thing that comes to mind that we wished went differently, and that is because the Turning Stone made it all happen, perfectly and effortlessly. Incredible wedding at the turning stone resort. The entire team at TS went above and beyond to make our wedding special. From the initial tour, tasting, and onto the final day, no detail was missed. A special shoutout to our coordinator Matthew Rose. We cannot say enough positive things about him. He worked tirelessly to make our day special! There was no request he couldn’t or wouldn’t accommodate.

My husband and I had the absolute BEST experience working with Q and the incredible team at Turning Stone. From the very beginning, we felt so taken care of, but Q truly went above and beyond in every possible way. She wasn’t just our coordinator—she was our guide, our rock, and honestly, a friend by the end of it all.

Q is a total pro—organized, detail-oriented, quick to respond, and calm under pressure. But what really made her stand out was her warmth, humor, and her ability to make us feel like we were her only clients. She’s the kind of person you immediately trust, and she has this magical way of making even the most stressful parts of wedding planning feel totally manageable. Every meeting, email, and walkthrough with her left us feeling more excited and more confident.

We had originally planned to have our ceremony on the Great Lawn, which we were really looking forward to. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, and we had to make the tough decision to move everything indoors at the last minute. Understandably, we were upset—but Q handled it with such professionalism and grace. She reassured us right away and turned what felt like a setback into something so beautiful and memorable. The indoor ceremony space was absolutely stunning, and guests still talk about how romantic and intimate it felt. Looking back, we wouldn’t change a thing.

Q’s attention to detail is second to none. She kept everything on track—from the big picture down to the smallest touches—and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. She had our timeline down perfectly, coordinated with every vendor seamlessly, and anticipated every need before we even had to ask.

Jamie was also an amazing part of our experience. She worked alongside Q and helped keep everything running smoothly on the big day. Their teamwork was flawless and made everything feel so effortless.

We can not recommend Turning Stone Casino enough. It was the perfect venue. Q and her staff were so easy to work with. They helped us create the wedding of our dreams. From our first visit through our reception, every interaction was handled with utmost consideration of the customer. Jamie did an amazing job walking us through and guiding us in assessing and selecting turning stone and the right space for us. Then our rep Quiana Morgan (Q) was assign -- she is FANTASTIC! She cares so much about her clients. She does not leave any detailed unaccounted for.

She does above and beyond to make sure her clients are happy and have the best possible event. She was able to coordinate a couple surprises and any tweaks she could to make it the absolute best reception we could've asked for.

Our fall wedding at Turning Stone was actual perfection. I am a huge perfectionist, and the day completely exceeded my expectations! Our day of coordinator, Matthew Rose, is one of the reasons why the day went so smoothly. From the beginning, Matthew was extremely communicative and made sure that all of our requests were executed if possible. I was nervous that I didn't have a wedding planner, but Matthew did such an amazing job coordinating the day that I do not regret my decision of not having a planner what so ever. He was such a great addition to our day and our whole bridal party and family loved him. He made me feel at ease throughout the entire process and I am truly thankful. We were so pleased with how professional the entire team was. You can tell that Turning Stone is a well oiled machine when it comes to weddings! I highly recommend. All of our guests said loved the venue and loved having the options to go have fun in the casino after the reception ended. Lastly, we loved that all food & beverage were included with the package. It made it much easier when trying to plan the day (and the wedding food was actually good!!!)

My husband and I decided to have our wedding at Turning Stone because they had accommodation to fit everyone’s needs. No one had to leave the property and the attention to detail was spot on. We worked with Matthew Rose planning our wedding and he was such a pleasure to work with. Our day was perfect and it was because of him! Turning Stone Resort was the perfect venue for our wedding! We planned for over two years and every step of the way their event staff and wedding coordinators were on top of every detail, friendly and helpful. We were pleased with everything leading up to the week of planning and final details, but were blown away by the actual day of. Our coordinator, Matt, is as good as they come. He was on top of absolutely everything, made sure we had all we needed, and helped us navigate a stressful but worthwhile weather dilemma! We always felt like he had our back and was going to do whatever it took to make sure our day was perfect, and it was!! Matt has spectacular taste and brought our vision to life. We gave him our decorations at the final planning meeting and said “just make it look good, we trust you” and we were right for that. Matt thought of everything - down to putting the picture we brought of our pets on our sweetheart table. One of our guests was showing off on the dance floor and before we could grab our videographer to capture it - Matt did. He gets it, he knows how to make your day everything you have been dreaming of and more. He is calm, organized, efficient, and most of all, kind. We couldn’t think more highly of him if we tried. We were married on the Great Lawn and had our reception at the Shenandoah Clubhouse. It was worth every penny - and reasonably priced - for what you receive in return. Our guests received pink lemonades while they waited for the ceremony. The cocktail hour was delicious and possibly the best wedding dinner we’ve ever actually eaten - not just because it was ours, but because it was GOOD. Our wedding guests have absolutely raved about how beautiful the property was, how nice the day turned out, and how exceptional the Turning Stone staff was. Every one of our guests was met with kindness. Beyond the event itself - our guests had the time of their lives the night before and after our wedding going to bars, gambling at the casino, and treating themselves to many of the delectable treats available after hours. There is nothing left to be desired from a wedding at Turning Stone. You will have the most stunning photos, a day to remember, and guests that have so much fun they suggest a family reunion next year just so we can all go back.

The Turning Stone Resort was a beautiful location for our wedding! We got married on the great lawn at the lodge and the reception was held in the clubhouse. Matt Rose was a huge help and guided our wedding planning. Chef Ron and his team made the most amazing wedding food we have ever had. Paula was our assigned server for the day and she was so attentive and on it! The Turning Stone team covered all of the details. It was a perfect day.

Everyone at Turning Stone is incredibly helpful and truly lovely to work with. Matt and Alaina were especially attentive and made the entire wedding-planning process so much less stressful. They were on top of absolutely everything and executed all of our plans exactly how we envisioned them.

Turning stone was an amazing wedding venue! We were able to have our rehearsal dinner, reception, and next day brunch all at Turning Stone and have a completely different experience for each. There are so many different and unique venues that we never even had to leave campus but got so many different vibes. The only thing that didn’t change was the level of impeccable service throughout the whole three days. I would encourage anyone considering turning stone to book without hesitation. The staff all made me feel like a princess on my special day!

There are so many options when it comes to The Turning Stone and something for everyone. The venue itself is gorgeous and the grounds for photographing formals are stunning. I highly recommend.

My daughter's wedding was originally scheduled for Oct. 2020. In an effort to ensure all her guests would be protected from a possible exposure to COVID, she and the groom decided to postpone until September 2021. Chelsea and Jaime were assisting with the planning from 10/2020 until then. They were more than accommodating in dealing with all the delays. We had a beautiful wedding on the Great Lawn and an equally as fantastic reception at the Shenandoah Clubhouse. A wonderful day. Thank you to the Turning Stone.

We were married 9/4/2021- after booking the venue back in 2019- we had to reschedule our 7/25/20 wedding due to COVID- Turning Stone was amazing with accommodating rescheduling and being flexible through the stressful time. When our big day finally came I couldn’t think of a more perfect experience. EVERYTHING was amazing. We had so many family and friends stay in the various resort accommodations all weekend long and it made for such a fun experience. Our wedding planner, Chelsea made our entire experience from start to finish, perfect. She accommodated our every need, always was on top of everything, and just is phenomenal at her job. The banquet manager also was very nice- and the food (we are foodies) was DELICIOUS- all our guests raved about it. Robbie (the lead server), who catered to our every need that night, was so sweet, helpful and diligent! Many guests commented on how attentive and kind he was- which helped to make our experience even that much better. I can honestly say this day was made picture perfect, and I would recommend Turning Stone to any, and every bride I know.

We got married on the lawn at The Lodge and our cocktail hour and reception were held at the golf course clubhouse. Everything was absolutely gorgeous! The TS was easy to work with and we felt confident that our special day was in great hands. We also hired their florist, Joli, who did an amazing job on all of our flowers!

We had our wedding ceremony at the Lodge at Turning Stone and it was more than we could’ve ever asked for! As a couple from Rochester we were looking for a little getaway and this was the perfect distance. From their stunning grounds & gardens to their friendly & accommodating staff, I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a place to get married. They make sure everything is absolutely perfect for your big day and I can’t thank them enough for all they did for us. They’re truly amazing people. If we could choose a venue to hold our wedding at again Turning Stone would be the place we choose over and over again. Jamie was there for every step of the process and made the planning seamless. On my wedding day, I had not one worry about any detail. I had my wedding reception at the Clubhouse and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. To start with, Jen and Jamie were very responsive with all 500 of my questions. They are super flexible and turned a few of my ideas into reality. They were happy to do anything I envisioned. The food was AMAZING and the chef was super accommodating and open to ideas. He happily added an appetizer that wasnt on the menu for us. Not to mention, they also remake your meals for you after the wedding because they know you wont eat a lot. The staff helped us with "specialty drinks" which were a hit. Their booze selection is great. They brought in some different bottled beers that I wanted to have. The team did an amazing job with the decor for the reception. I used the Turningstone florist, Joli, who I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about. She not only provided me with the best pricing BY FAR, but her arrangements were everything I asked for and more. The team made me cry with how beautiful the tables and room turned out. I 100% would recommend the Turningstone.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have our wedding at The Turning Stone Resort Casino. Our ceremony was outside on The Great Lawn at The Lodge at Turning Stone and our reception was in The Shenedoah Clubhouse. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the casino Friday night and couldn’t have been happier with how the evening went! My husband and I were married on 7/27/19 and still feel as if we are on cloud nine. The casino provided us the wedding of our dreams. We truly could not have dreamed of a better weekend!! Jamie Smith, Catering Manager, was our initial contact person and was there for us every step of the way as we planned our big day. She was professional and so very helpful. We were lucky enough to have Sarah (our hero) as our wedding coordinator and words just cannot describe how wonderful she was. Everything ran so seamlessly and myself, my husband, my parents and my in laws were all able to step back and enjoy the evening, which was so very important to us! I wish I could list all the staff members at the casino that made a positive impact on our day, but there are just too many to name. We have received such glowing comments from our guests about how beautiful the ceremony setting was, how amazing the food at the cocktail hour as well as the dinner was, how excellent the staff and service was and how wonderfully the day ran. We are beyond thankful for the lovely staff at The Turning Stone Casino for making all our dreams come true!!!

My fiancé and I met with Jamie from the Turning Stone and toured the property. Jamie was professional,punctual, helpful, and flexible. This venue is beautiful and currently in our top 5! It is So hard making a decision!! I would certainly recommend touring the property.

Having our wedding reception at the Turning Stone was one of the best decisions that we made for our day. We had our reception in the Oneida/Mohawk ballrooms. Jennifer and Ian were the best people to work with. We did not hire a wedding coordinator, however between the two of them, we did not need one. I had someone checking in on my husband and I at all times throughout the night making everything was the way we wanted. They made sure we both ate and never let out drinks get close to empty. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The price is definitely worth it if you want a very elegant/classy venue.

In planning our daughter and son-in-law's wedding, we quickly realized that the Turning Stone Resort and Casino would fit our needs the best. In prioritizing our budget, food, atmosphere and the availability of hotel rooms and other entertainment venues were on top of the list. We held our event at the Shenandoah Clubhouse and there is not a better venue for an elegant, classic wedding. The TS staff, especially Melissa Paquette, could not be more accommodating. We did not hire a wedding planner, so we relied on Melissa guidance and assurances, and she did not disappoint. We gave her a road map to how we wanted everything displayed, and nothing was missed. The food was extraordinary, and our guests are still raving about how much fun they had. The TS cake artist, Ashleigh, as that is what she is, did an amazing job with the wedding cake. Not only was it pleasing to the eye, but it was delicious! We feel fortunate to have been able to have our reception at the TS! We would not change a thing!

Turning stone was our first and only pick for a wedding venue. We knew from experience that Turning Stone had something to offer for everyone. Not only did they meet my expectations but the surpassed them with flying colors. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous, flawless, and there wasn't a single employee not willing and ready to do whatever me or my guests needed. Our reception at the Shenendoah Clubhouse was everything we could've ever wanted and more!! Our guests have repeatedly told us it was the "best location, best food, best cocktail hour, etc. etc. they've ever had" and my husband and I agree it was top notch everything! Our catering manager Jamie Smith was an absolute ANGEL--I pestered her with more questions emails and phone calls than you can imagine leading up to the wedding, and she was a God-send the day-of the wedding. My flowers arrived hours before the reception (from an outside florist) COMPLETELY wrong, so Jamie called up the Turning Stone florist and they immediately got to work to give me the centerpieces I wanted...at no cost! (All 16 of them!!!) My husband and I had food the entire night, we had our own server assigned to just the two of us, and they even sent us back to our complimentary Lodge suite with boxes and boxes of food to-go (hors d'oeuvres, entrees, desserts, etc. etc.) after the wedding! Additionally, our cake came included with our package and ended up being exactly as I had imagined (maybe even prettier!) which I was beyond thrilled with. I cannot recommend them highly enough here, it's definitely worth every penny.

Turning stone made our wedding day amazing! They are ontop of everything down to the very last detail! Our coordinator, Jamie Smith was so helpful, very responsive and organized everything to our satisfaction! The prices weren't as high as we assumed and everything is basically included in the packages, absolutely loved the wedding cake they provided and the free night stay on the wedding night was very much appreciated! I am very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend using turning stone as a wedding venue!

My husband and I were married at Turning Stone Resort Casino on 9/4/16. We live in Florida so we relied on the staff to help us plan our big day. Everything from the tasting to the reception was amazing and went smoothly. We had the pleasure of working with Vannati, Chris, and Sarah Just. They guided us through every process and decision. Sarah was just amazing; she was very responsive to phone calls and emails, and so accommodating. Our ceremony was on the Great Lawn and it was truly beautiful. Our cocktail hour and reception were held at the Shenendoah Clubhouse. The hors doeuvres, dinners, and drinks were amazing! The patio at the clubhouse and the reception room were beautiful! The staff decorated it just the way we had imagined! Our waitress during our wedding was so kind and attentive. Our guests are still talking about our day. We are so lucky to have had such a beautiful day! We highly recommend TSRC for your wedding or special event!

My Husband and I chose Turning Stone Resort Casino to host our 10th anniversary/ vow renewal and there is honestly not one thing we could complain about. Everything was perfect to a T and more than we could ever imagine!! Tons of food, everything was beautiful! Our guests are still talking about the event and said it was the best reception they have ever been to. Many of our guests complimented on the food and how comfortable they felt. We had our wedding ceremony on the Great Lawn at The Lodge and our reception at Shenandoah Country Club and it was amazing! The staff was professional, attentive to detail, prompt with everything, and truly dedicated to what they do. From beginning to end, our wedding was a dream come true!

We booked a room block at Turning stone for our wedding on January 24, 2015. I worked with Sarah and she was great - answered all emails/phone calls ASAP. I changed things up quite a bit, but it was never an issue for her. We also used them for transportation to and from our venue to Turning Stone. We got a limo for me & the bridesmaids there, a shuttle for the groom & groomsmen and then shuttles to and from for the guests staying at Turning Stone. It was definitely worth the money! No one had to worry about driving and drinking and directions. It was perfect!

My Mom's 90th surprise birthday party was great! The catering dept created a polish buffet menu to accommodate the theme. The rooms were set up beautifully and the staff was wonderful. It was expensive but we'll worth it. I will always promote this venue - I appreciate everyone involved in this event.

I would definitely recommend Turning Stone. It was a great value and their experienced wedding team was there to help with every little aspect. I didn't have to worry about things running smoothly. I had a great experience.

Everything at this venue is top notch - from their staff to service to the venue itself. They helped make our wedding one we will never forget. Don't discount this venue thinking that it might be something you cannot afford - when compared with other local venues they were extremely competitive.

I was married at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, NY. We had the ceremony on the Great Lawn behind the Lodge. It was amazing and stunning scenery all around the grounds.

The cocktail and reception was held at the Shenandoah at Turning Stone. What an amazing space. And the service was true perfection.

We were recently married and had our reception at Turning Stone Resort and Casino, in the Shenendoah Clubhouse. It was the best reception and everyone had a great time! The clubhouse is gorgeous and was the perfect setting for our wedding. The entire process of planning a reception was very daunting, especially since we live in California and were planning from afar. Jessica was our coordinator and did an amazing job helping us with every detail. She was extremely profesisonal and timely with all responses. Even though she was coordinating many other events at the same time, she always made it seem like we were the most important clients. Every detail was covered on the day of the reception, it went so smoothly and I did not have to worry about a thing. The entire staff at the Turing Stone did a fantastic job and provided our guests with a luxurious evening! Our flowers were done in house, as was the food and cake. Everything was perfect and as a detail-oriented bride with high expectations, all my wishes came true! I would highly recommend Turning Stone Resort and Casino as a reception venue.

Turning Stone Casino made our day PERFECT. Each and every worker was so friendly and did everything in their power to make our dream come true. The grounds there are just a beautiful resort and I have such amazing pictures I can't even begin to explain. The food is absolutely out of this world, expecially for the price. Turnstone is amazing. My husband and I have been going there every year since they opened The Lodge. So when we were trying to pick a place for a destination wedding turning stone was the only logical answer. They have so much to offer that it made planing the wedding a walk in the park. The hardest part of planning our wedding was picking my dress. Katie Ksiadz and the rest of the staff took care of the rest. Our flowers were gorgeous and the cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. Any minor problems that we did have were resolved right away. As far as cost goes we got so much more for our money at turning stone than we ever would have in Boston. If we could do it all over I would change a thing.

Great service! Everyone from the bell hop to the coordinator was accommodating and professional. The quality and experience was worth every penny. The entire weekend went smoothly and all my guest left happy.

Everyone at The Turning Stone was a pleasure to work with. The accomodated all of my wants and needs! Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they have been to. While the price is a bit high, it is VERY worth it!

My cake was absolutely wounderful. It tasted great and they took my expectations of a cake and blew them away. I was so happy with my cake. The service was great, the cost was decent and the final product was amazeing and absolutely breathtakeing.

Turning Stone was amazing! They would have five stars in every category but even planning our wedding a year ahead many dates were already taken. Our wedding planner was awesome and answered every question we had. The day of the wedding everyone working with us made sure everything went perfectly. The wait staff was super attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this venue for future brides!!

All we have to say is WOW. My husband and I are absolutely over the moon with how everything went. But most importantly we are exceptionally happy with our coordinator, Q!

She is, and always will be, a positive part in such a special day of ours. From the countless meetings when my type A controlling thoughts are getting the best of me, to wrangling in the wedding party during the rehearsal, to executing the ceremony and reception exactly how we pictured it. It was like she was inside my brain and saw everything the way I had always imagined it, but better.

The number one thing we've heard rave reviews on from our wedding was the food! The quality and service was next to none. Everything was exceptionally plated, delicious, and most importantly served HOT. The timing of the kitchen was perfect.

The only "con" we really have, is to make sure you have a space to hold your family portraits that is not your ceremony space (if being used for the reception as well), or the Lodge lobby bar. Because we got married in January, it was next to impossible to hold our family photos outside. The plan was to take them after the ceremony in front of where we got married, but the staff needed the time to flip the room for the reception. We were told to take them in the lobby at the Lodge, which was great in theory, until all of our guests went there in between the ceremony and cocktail hour for a quick drink. Trying to call out to family members over your guests was not in my vision, but we made due.

All in all, we had such minimal hiccups in our day that it's hard to even think of any. Q was meant to work with people and be a guiding light on such momentous occasions in their lives. Anyone who decides to host their event at the Turning Stone will be blessed to have her in their corner.

We were so pleased with Turning Stone as our wedding venue!! We got married at the Shenendoah Clubhouse & had such a wonderful day. Planning the wedding was so easy, seeing as our florist, hair/makeup, lodging, caterer, & wedding cake were all on premise. Everyone worked so smoothly together & there was always frequent communication. Our wedding coordinator, Allison, was SO extremely helpful at all steps of the process. While the venue can be a bit pricey, it was worth every penny! The Skana was so accommodating for hair/makeup, making sure we were top priority for that day, & Lauren, our florist's designs were absolutely incredible & she took any & all ideas we might have had & created beautiful products. Our guests truly enjoyed their selves by staying on the grounds & enjoying a fun-filled weekend.

After our orginal venue cancelled all weddings, the TSRC helped me tremendously. They found me a great date in their clubhouse. They worked all hours of the clock trying to make this such an amazing wedding. I cannot say enough good words about the quality of weddings they provide.

I can't thank the staff of Turning Stone enough. I was a little nervous at first of the overall price, however, it was a great decision and worth every penny. What a beautiful place to be married! The staff were so helpful and really made my wedding amazing! Jessica Thomas was my event coordinator, and I swear she is what held it together! Right from the beginning she was in tune with very need and want I had for my wedding. Jessica and the turning stone staff exceeded my expectations by far!! I'm so glad I chose the resort and casino for my special day. Everyone enjoyed themselves and made such memories!

My wedding was absolutely amazing. Anything that I asked for, I was given (for a price, of course). Although it's a bit expensive, I feel as though it is completely worth the cost! As a previous post stated, I felt like the most important and definitely the most richest person in the world. I honestly felt like a celebrity. My cake showed up 2 hours late, so Turning Stone had one of their cake bakers whip up a "fake" cake that actually looked better than my own cake! Everyone is so great to work with and accommodating. You get a free hotel suite if you have your wedding there. I cannot say enough about this venue, they pull out all of the stops!!

TSRC was the best choice we could have made for our wedding venue. My spouse and I reached out to them for their wedding package details as a joke, because we never thought we could have afforded them. Turns out, they were more affordable than most places we looked at.. Their package is amazing, in that everything is included- drinks, food, cake, a wedding coordinator etc. TSRC was very organized, responsive, and professional. They made the planning process so easy as they made sure all the things you would normally forget about were taken care of and they provided an incredible detailed contract. 90% of our guests traveled from our of town, so the TSRC was the best place for us because it has something for everyone, and with the gap between our ceremony and reception, people were actually excited to walk around and see everything the TSRC had to offer. Justin and Robbie were unvbelieable and i would recommend this venue to anyone! they will keep you calm and sane during the process and take care of all the little and big things for you!!!

We recently had our wedding at Turning Stone in August. What a perfect location for a wedding and reception. We were supposed to have the ceremony outside on the Lawn of the Lodge. However due to rain had to move the ceremony inside to the Seneca Room. The Turning Stone Staff was so wonderful about making sure that our guests were made aware of the change and directed them to the new ceremony location. Everyone raved about the quality of the food and the quality of the cake. Their prices include location rental for the ceremony and reception, dinner, wedding cake as well as cutting and serving of the cake, open bar for 5 hours, a coordinator to work with you, table and chair rentals, linens, cocktail hour appetizers and meat and cheese stations and more. Throughout the whole planning processes they were more than willing to work with us and make any special accommodations that we needed to make our wedding perfect. They even allowed for our DJ to come to the reception site and test his special affects to ensure that everything was going to work properly. You are assigned a coordinator who will work closely with you through the entire process which is very helpful when you have questions that you need answered quickly. I would recommend Turning Stone to anyone looking for a wonderful and affordable location to get married.

We had an amazing and beautiful wedding at Turning Stone in the Shenandoah clubhouse. The venue is gorgous and the staff was great. They were flexible in changing and moving things around, we had our own private waiter, and everything was done just how we asked. A bit expensive but worth it, especially in the clubhouse which I think is the by far the best venue there.

Everything was excellent! Great planning with their staff and minimized stress for the bride as they do everything and anything you need! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the good was excellent!

The Turning Stone helped make my day perfect! Due to rain in the prior week and then soggy grounds, we could not have the ceremony outside on the Great Lawn, which we were very disappointed about. The weather on our wedding day was gorgeous and sunny so it would have been perfect. They suggested we have it in the event center which gave the illusion of being outside. It was perfect! We only wished we knew of this possibility when we had originally booked to have the ceremony there. Everyone worked behind the scenes to move guests to the correct location and I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day! The best part of the Turning Stone was their flexibility. We were looking to have a smaller wedding and most places in the area wanted a minimum amount which we would not have met. Even though it was more expensive to have our wedding at the Turning Stone, the availability of everything on site and the people we worked with made it worth it!

We had our ceremony on the Great Lawn, our reception at the Lodge, we used their florist, they made our cake, and our bridal party used the spa and golf course. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, everything ran pretty smooth and we got tons of compliments. I did not give 5/5 stars because we had 3 different wedding coordinators, we were told certain things like the groom having late check out, we had to get married at 2pm because someone was getting married after us but our reception couldn't start until 6, we were told we could have a sample floral arrangement but there was a communication error about when we had to ask for it, and a couple other things that in the end really weren't important, but caused unnecessary stress and confusion.

We didn't end up going with this venue in the end, but we cannot say enough about how amazing Jamie was!! We had decided to go with a venue closer to home so our guests didnt have to travel too far, but we wish we could have gone with TS! Jamie always responded quickly and helped us with any questions we had. We are a busy couple and she was very patient with us. She worked with us and our small wedding like a true professional. I honestly cannot say enough! You will be very happy holding your wedding at Turning Stone!!!

We loved our wedding at Turning Stone! They were expensive, but everyone said that they'd had an amazing time, so it was worth it!

For the most part, we had a great experience with the Skana spa. They did a beautiful job on our hair and the make up was stunning, we received the bridal party package. The staff was very friendly and flexible. The only issue we had was with my sister in law, she has very curly ethnic hair, we had called a head and asked if they would be able to work with it and we were told yes but when we got there the stylist seemed a bit lost. She worked her way through and my sister in law's hair looked so pretty. They are great thinking on their feet!

This place was amazing. It was truly magical. I created the wedding of my dreams and they made it into reality. I felt like the richest, most important client on the day of my wedding. The service was unparraleled and stellar compared to any vendor I have ever used (and I am in the business). I would highly recommend this place for any wedding, at any budget, The will accomodate you!! The entire place is manicured to the T and will make your guests feel like they are at a platinum wedding!!!! If you live anywhere near upstate NY. please check out the Turning Stone, I did my ceremony on the great lawn behind The Lodge and we had our reception in the Oneida room. All I can say is it was magical!

We love everything about our wedding. Guests have told us that our wedding was the best they've ever been to!

Quality of Service - The set up of the wedding, food and the sequence of events was perfect for us. We could not have asked for it to be better.

Responsiveness - This was Turning Stone's biggest fault. We transitioned through 4 different Event Planners throughout the year as we were trying to plan our wedding. They were all very nice, yet some were definitely more responsive than others. Some would respond within a day others it would take a week. Also, with our wedding plans being handed off to different coordinators they assured us that all the details would be passed along, but there were definitely things forgotten, which created confusion and frustration.

Professionalism- I found them to be very professional and took their work very seriously.

Value- As I mentioned the quality of the service was great. They could pretty much do anything we requested. However, I felt we were nickel and dimed along the way. It cost extra money to have gift bags given out to guests when they checked in, cost extra money for the set up team to tie the chair pads on the chairs we had delivered, the last minute they told us that we couldn't have real flowers on our cake so we either needed to buy fake or have gum paste which cost $100 a bunch, extra money to extend the reception an hour, etc.

Flexibility- As long as you explain what you want and are crystal clear they can pretty much make anything possible. As I mentioned before, we felt nickeled and dimed a bit, they can be flexible but everything will have a price tag.

We used Turning Stone for a room block, rehearsal dinner, and after-party (at one of their bars), so this is not a review of their wedding planning services or team.

We encountered a few bumps with Turning Stone. The rehearsal was delicious and in a quiet, private location. The staff were friendly and absolutely charming and gracious to us and our guests.

Our room block ran us into some trouble, however. We booked rooms for Friday and Saturday nights. When the Friday block filled up, the staff informed our guests that the entire block was full, even though there were still rooms available on Saturday. Additionally, several guests were incorrectly informed that the entire hotel was booked on Friday and Saturday, not just our block. While everything worked out in the end, it was no small stress upon my husband and I--we had to spend a lot of extra time calling guests and Turning Stone and clearing up the confusion during the month leading up to the wedding (when all your time is already accounted for!).

We were providing a shuttle from Turning Stone to our venue on the day of the ceremony. We asked Turning Stone if they could inform guests who had booked through the block where and when the shuttles would be departing. Their reply was that they could not, unless we opted to provide guests with a gift bag upon arrival at a cost of $2.00/per bag. To make that clear, we were required to provide the bag--the Turning Stone fee was to hand out the bags--and without doing so, they refused to inform guests about the shuttle's details. We asked if we could put up a sign, but Turning Stone said no.

tl;dr:
Rehearsal dinner? Was so delicious.
Room? Was beautiful (although, fyi, Turning Stone does not discount or comp the bride/groom's room for any of the nights, despite us fully booking 50 rooms for the wedding). We *did* get a free mini-bottle of champaign when we ordered room service.
Did Turning Stone make our day easier? Quite the opposite.

Overall, I wasn't super impressed with the customer service at Turning Stone when we were trying to set up a shuttle. We had our wedding reception at the nearby Dibbles Inn, and many of our guests were staying at Turning Stone, so we contacted them to see if we could set up a shuttle for our guests at the beginning and end of our reception. The first 3 departments my fiance called at Turning Stone said they didn't offer this service. I then contacted the sales manager with whom I had set up our room block. He directed me to someone who could help, and as it turns out, TS does offer shuttles. So we set it up and paid for it, and then they told us they wouldn't notify our guests of the time and would not hand out sheets of paper with the info even if I printed them out and delivered them. So that was annoying, but then they ended up telling all the guests when they checked in about the shuttle, so go figure. The next problem was that we shifted the times for the shuttle, and I asked the front desk manager to make sure they notified the remaining guests about the correct time, not the old time. This did not happen, even though she assured me she would. So all our guests stood around for 15 minutes waiting for the shuttle (thank goodness we didn't make it earlier or else everyone would have missed it!) The driver and the bus itself were very nice and we didn't have any trouble once it all got going, but dealing with the different departments at Turning Stone was a planning nightmare. They really need to work on their communication between departments.

Then all my flowers are down for my ceremony and there was a rehearsal the other bridal party walked down my aisle with all of my flowers on the aisle; how tacky is that? I felt that I should not have to pay for the flowers or great lawn and Jamie would not help with that. She would not tell me who her manager was for over 2 weeks when I finally called myself and asked for the Director of sales. As of right now I am still waiting to see what I am getting refunded from this 5 star resort

The food was terrible, nothing like our tasting. The meat was unable to be chewed. Plates were returned to to the kitchen by a few guests. There was only one bar when there was supposed to be two (this was remediated). The cake was served on a dessert table while people were still eating dinner. People were unware it was there. They only served one type of cake instead of two. I was promised Italian cookies, got M&M and chocolate chip cookies (was remediated eventually). This is just a brief summary. They made a mess of my day, and admitted it by refunding some of our money. A word of advice, get every detail in writing and take pictures of anything and everything that goes wrong.....

My husband and I worked with April Labulis at Turning Stone who did everything EXCEPT her actual job. My husband arrived at the Great Lawn at 1:45 for our scheduled 2:00pm ceremony and the staff said they we were not scheduled to have a ceremony there. Cue the stress! April showed up at 1:50 and notified the staff at that time. We had a total of 20 guests at our ceremony so our contract said there should have been 30 chairs at the ceremony. There were at least 75 chairs just taking up space unnecessarily because ‘we weren’t scheduled to have a ceremony there.’ 🙄 my husband and I prepaid for everyone’s room and we paid a deposit for dinner at the steakhouse. These deposits were temporarily ‘lost’, our guests were charged random amounts to their rooms, and we were charged the entire steakhouse bill when we checked out. It’s took 2 weeks for Turning Stone to find all of this money, organize their complete mess, and give us our money back. I’m really not sure how this place is rated so highly for weddings. They did not care at all about our event.

If zero was an option I would select it. I was mislead drastically when I asked if my dog would be allowed in my wedding if I booked with them I was told multiple times it was possible. It started with them failing to tell me my Dalmatian was only allowed outdoors in the grand lawn. I had to ask many questions before they conceded that he would only be allowed outside. After saying that I didn't want my dog only allowed outdoors because that would ruin the wedding having to bring him home, I was then asked to commit fraud and lie to the service dog system and say that I need him as a service animal to do things that I can't. I do not require that assistance. I offered to get him certified as an emotional support animal and to get his canine good citizen test but that was not good enough. I even offered a meet and greet. My Dalmatian will be walking me down the aisle because I have no father figure in my life. I am absolutely appalled. Not only were they only reachable through email except for one phone call ( out of dozens of phone calls during business hours over days ) but I got several confirmations that my dog would be allowed until today.
After the ceremony he must leave. Misleading a bride so that the business can make more money- You are NOT getting mine- it's not cute, it's not acceptable, and it is not good business unless you're dealing with STUPID PEOPLE.
Luckily for me I know from experience the service dog policy and training because I've worked with guiding eyes for the blind. What was nearly demanded of me is deplorable. I'm Deeply disappointed in Turning Stone Casino and Resort. I was even belittled by being sent a definition of what a service animal is- after telling them the definition myself in horror of their only suggestion. As a company you should be embarrassed, deeply. Not because of only allowing service dogs- that's respectable-but because of asking me commit fraud and misleading me with what you allow.
