Mary is, without a doubt, absolutely the person you need on your side for your wedding. She is incredibly organized, knows all the right vendors you'll want to use, and is excellent at talking sense into you. She was right there with me the whole time we were planning our reception, and when we had to find a new venue five days before the event, she didn't even blink. She just helped me transfer everything and got right along with it. My husband and I were so relaxed the day of. She made the most beautiful tablescapes and handled the marshalling of the troops for setup and takedown. You need this woman for your event. You will regret it if you go with anyone else. -

Saving Grace!
Mary was truly the reason we could all relax and take in our wedding day the way it was meant to be. Mary went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect was what we would be more than pleased with. Her calming and kind personality kept me so at peace through the whole process. Not only did Mary coordinate for my wedding, but she also did our florals. Mary took maybe one or two pictures that I sent to her of my vision. She not only encompassed that in all of our floral arrangements, but she somehow went above and beyond that. I feel like she really got to know me as a person and the way the florals and decorations turned out really reflected that. Having Mary for both florals and coordination was easily the BEST decision I made for my wedding, truly and honestly. Her assistants are wonderful as well. She will make sure that you have the day you have always dreamed of. I will recommend her to every single bride I know in the future. She will be your saving grace! -

Mary is absolutely one of the best in the business. She’s efficient, organized, knowledgeable and constantly strives to ensure that all your visions/dreams for your wedding come true! She has great experience and expertly guides you through the planning process. Mary truly enjoys helping brides and their families and it shows! She’s amazingly hands-on invaluable on the wedding day and handles the big stuff as well as crazy issues that pop up - like sewing my daughter-in-law into her dress when her zipper broke! -

Mary was an excellent wedding coordinator. She made sure that we had all the details sorted out the months leading up to the wedding and made sure our the week of and day of our wedding went smoothly. She helped resolve an issue with our transportation and allowed us to focus on the big picture rather than the small details.
The day of the wedding was where Mary really shined. Everyone knew where to be and what their cues were. She especially knows how to maneuver difficult circumstances and changes in timing. Due to an overestimate, we arrived 45 minutes early to our reception. We were ushered into a side room to avoid an early entrance. My wife and I were able to have our own private cocktail hour. Mary and Kris (from The Monastery) made sure we were comfortable. The rest of the night went amazingly! -

Mary is absolutely phenomenal! From the first time she chatted with my mom and I over a conference call, I knew she would make sure our wedding day was perfect. Mary did our florals in addition to guiding me through planning (recognizing my schedule is crazy as a busy physician) and ensured everything went smoothly on our big day. She is calm, dedicated, artistic, kind and a joy to work with. You should race to reserve Mary’s time and expertise, she’s the cream of the crop! -

Mary was FANTASTIC! She was also our florist and bent over backwards to make sure my fiance (husband) and I had everything we needed to make our day perfect. She had the uncomfortable conversations that I wanted to avoid which I cannot praise her enough for! She made me know that I alone was her priority and made sure to communicate my vision to the other vendors. She was by myside every step of the way. Her tips and tricks were priceless. She is a bull dog and made me feel so important and special. I cannot imagine going through this process without her. I absolutely hate planning and I was very overwhelmed until Mary stepped onto the scene. My fiance and I live in Nashville so planning an out of state ceremony and reception was a lot, and asking Mary to help us was my best decision I could have made. Mary saw our vision for what we wanted, and then elevated it all, which was exactly what we needed. She was always honest about what she thought and was the greatest problem solver. She went out of her way to make sure we got exactly what we needed, even helping us with florals when we had a vendor cancel. It was so refreshing to find someone who knew what they were doing, told us the best way to get things done, and then made sure it got done no matter what. I cannot stress enough how important a wedding coordinator is and I cannot stress enough that Mary should be that coordinator for you. As a COVID bride, I had my fair share of ups and downs throughout the wedding planning process and Mary was there for me every step of the way. She is always so responsive, so organized and so easy to work with. She became a great friend along the way and I am so beyond grateful for her support and help. My wedding was an absolute dream and I truly have Mary to thank for it. She is there for any late night text with questions, a quick Facetime call to go over details, and has solutions to every problem out there. I've always been a person who has to have control over a lot of things, and I put all my trust into Mary and her team and I'm so happy I did. I didn't have to worry about a thing because she always had it covered. She is so great at what she does and she is one aspect to your wedding that you will never regret having. The best decision we ever made in the wedding planning process was hiring Mary as our coordinator and florist. She is knowledgeable, genuine, helpful, calm when things get stressful, the kindest human, and always on top of things. She put together the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen and executed a day that could've been overwhelming if we did it alone, but with her help, was the best day of our lives! She helped make our wedding day everything we could have ever dreamed of, even in the midst of a pandemic. We are forever thankful for Mary and all she did for us!! -

Mary was our day of coordinator, florist, and helped us plan all the details leading up to our wedding. She offers expert advice to make your day run smoothly, and is gifted in smoothing out all the fine details. Due to COVID-19, we had to change a vast majority from what we originally planned (including a change in venue) and we could not have done this without her. She took the time to walk us through all of our options and helped us to decide what would be the best solution would be to still have our dream wedding while keeping our friends and family safe. She problem solves calmly and efficiently. She is quick to respond to all questions and is incredibly willing to help at all times. Her floral arrangements were BEAUTIFUL, she did exactly what I wanted. It was so simple for me to just give her a few inspiration photos and I knew I could trust her to do the rest, she did not disappoint! -

Marys services are worth their weight in gold. Mary helped us understand what we wanted from the very beginning and worked to make it a reality down to every detail. She made the days leading up to the wedding and the wedding day itself so much more relaxed and easy than we ever could have thought! She’s professional, diligent, creative, and a blast to work with. If We could give one piece of advice for future couples, it would be to hire Mary. She will save you money in a bunch of different areas and help make your day fun for your guests and yourselves. Her years of experience are one of her biggest assets as a planner/coordinator. She’ll help you with big picture vision down to every detail, like what size candles you need for you space. She’s even amazing at arranging flowers! We can’t recommend her enough!!!!!! -

Wedding Planner and Floral Designer
We used Mary from Turning Point Events for our daughter’s wedding and loved her! Mary has fantastic professional experience – dealing with venues, caterers, photographers, etc. But she also has an incredible heart for listening to what the bride and groom want their wedding to be. Mary also did our florals and they were GORGEOUS! My daughter had loosely described her vision and Mary nailed it and then some! I have never seen prettier bouquets, garlands and centerpieces.
Throughout the planning process Mary was a joy to work with and quick to respond to texts or emails. On the day of the wedding she was a calming presence, handling all of the details so that we could just enjoy the day.

Thanks to Mary and her assistant Corinne our day went so smoothly! We used Mary to help plan our day and for florals. She is great to work with and you can tell she loves what she does! She was quick to respond to any question I had and perfectly executed our vision for our day. Any time I needed anything on the wedding day Mary or Corinne was there to help, whether it was bustling my train or making sure I had water to drink. I highly recommend Mary for your day! I was able to enjoy the day thanks to Mary and her attention to detail! -

Made the impossible...POSSIBLE!
Mary easily went above and BEYOND on what was expected for our wedding preparations and the day of!! She stepped in with ease and tackled the small and big items without question! In full honesty, I couldn't imagine having our wedding go as well as it did without her. She made it happen plus more! She was there through the smiles, tears, breakdowns and wasn't afraid to tell people what needed to be done. Her attitude/leadership gave me the confidence knowing that everything was being taken care of the day of the wedding. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of. If there was something wrong, I would never know because Mary took care of it. I wish there was a way to rate more than 5 stars because she deserves it! I never thought I would need a wedding planner until I met Mary and I couldn't imagine doing it without her by our side. She quickly became a friend as well and I hope to stay in touch with her as my husband and I continue on our journey!! We can't say thank you enough but hope this is a start :) -

The absolute best decision we made in planning our daughter and now son-in-laws wedding. I cannot say enough about Mary. Her kindness and professionalism know no bounds. We cannot express in enough words how great of a decision it was to hire Mary for our wedding. From the moment I met her, I just knew she would be the PERFECT person to help make mine and Michael's wedding day absolutely amazing! Throughout the planning process, whenever we would speak to Mary about our wedding vision, she instantly knew what we wanted and would come up with the best plans, ideas, and designs to help pull everything together. Five stars does not do her justice! If I could give her more, the limit literally would not exist on how many stars I could give!
Mary not only was our wedding planner, she also doubled as our florist and completely hands down captured exactly what we wanted for the design and look of our wedding. I was speechless (which isn't very like me) when I got to view the room. I couldn't wait for Michael to see our vision had truly come to life! We hired Mary because we needed a day of wedding planner and florist but we got so so SO much more. We got a new life friend. If you are looking for someone who truly, genuinely cares about you, your soon to be Mr or Mrs, and honestly your whole wedding guest list, HIRE MARY. so beautiful. From flowers to centerpieces to coordinating out of town family to just being there for a reality check. Mary made it all happen. Truly we could not be more grateful for her expertise, guidance, and sense of style. She was a meaningful support for my husband and I through the whole process and we are more grateful to her than words can say. Especially for helping my mom pull off a behind the scenes surprise in a way that left me more than happy as a bride who had thought through so much of the day and left my mom feeling really valued and cherished. Mary kept everyone and everything on track starting in the weeks leading up to our day. She also answered the random questions I wasn't sure who else to ask in the months leading up to our wedding. She handled everything and it was such a relief to not have to worry about a single thing that day. You couldn't ask for a better coordinator to help you keep your chill on your day. If you're considering hiring a coordinator, DO IT now and hire Mary - you will not regret it! -

Stephen Sent on 09/25/2017Mary and Turning Point Events came to our rescue! My wife and I found ourselves in a terrible situation. Our venue double booked our wedding reception and another event. After bargaining, we would not able to access our venue until 11:00am until the previous event ended, leaving my wife and I no time to decorate in the morning. Well it didn't matter because we found Mary. We hired Mary to decorate at our venue for our wedding reception that started at 4:30pm so that my wife and I could take the time to get ready for our wedding and prepare ourselves spiritually. Mary FAR SURPASSED all expectations we had. She followed all of our wishes, offered her expert experience and advice, and helped to give us a beautiful reception that we will carry for a lifetime. I live in Atlanta and my wedding was in Cincinnati and she did a wonderful job with communication as well as staying in touch and meeting with vendors when necessary if I could not. I was thoroughly impressed with Mary and her team. The set up for our venue was absolutely gorgeous and though I had given Mary direction on how we wanted everything put together and placed, the final product was incredible! Walking into your wedding venue not knowing what it looks like beforehand is nerve-wracking, but Mary and her team did a great job. I am so very happy we decided to hire Mary and Turning Point Events for our big day. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a planner, either full time planner or day of! -

Erinn Sent on 11/11/2016I’m going to attempt to write a review that does justice to just how amazing of a job Mary did in helping us with our wedding and how appreciative we are, but I don’t know if words could even describe it! I live 9 hours away from my hometown of Cincinnati, which was where we were going to hold the wedding, so I knew from the start that I would need the help of a wedding planner, since I was so far away for a lot of the planning process. Even in my initial phone calls to different wedding planners, Mary stood out to me. She seemed the most interested in what my vision was and also the most down to earth. She was very upfront and honest about what would be realistic and did such a fantastic job of helping provide suggestions within our specific parameters (date, budget, style, location, etc.) One of my favorite things about Mary is she always gave me all the tools and information we needed to make important decisions about the wedding, but she never would push us in a specific direction. I really appreciated this, because I am a really bad decision-maker. I waffle back and forth between options and often feel regret after deciding. There were definitely some decisions when I just wanted Mary to tell me what to do, but I’m so glad that she never did. Because of the information she gave us, we were able to choose wisely, and because we were forced to make the decision ourselves without the outside pressure from someone else, we felt confident in our reasoning, and had zero regrets throughout the entire wedding process. (That’s a really big deal for me!)
Mary was so thorough and thought of everything. She absolutely knows her stuff when it comes to weddings and receptions. The day of the wedding, everything flies by so fast, and you’re so caught up in it that you completely forget about details you spent hours or even days planning. But thanks to Mary, we didn’t have to worry about forgetting anything. She would tell us that on the wedding day, our only concern would
