We could not be happier with our wedding experience at Tunxis. The price is amazing for the level of service we got. The event coordinator Camille is wonderful and did an incredible job setting up the decorations, coordinating the day, and managing so many moving pieces. The venue is accommodating for allergies and the food is SO GOOD. Best food we’ve ever had at a wedding. We truly can’t believe the price per person for what we received - just incredible. We would recommend this wedding venue to anyone. It was like a fairytale. High highly recommend!! -

Our wedding was in October on a Sunday and it was such a beautiful day at Tunxis Country club Pavilion. The value for their packages make for an affordable choice for a stunning wedding. We loved the convenience of the bride getting ready on site in the suite, ceremony and reception all in one location. Food, full bar, champagne toasts and cake cutting are all included in a the package! We really appreciated our wedding coordinator, Camille who worked with us from start to finish. She helped me set up my DIY decor exactly how I wanted it, guided us through the big day and checked in on us for whatever we needed. We really enjoyed our experience and guests were talking about how much fun they had in a beautiful location! Highly recommend. -

Our wedding day at Tunxis was perfect!! What initially drew us to Tunxis was that it would be beautiful and comfortable rain or shine. Our day of coordinator, Camille, was amazing - extremely responsive to emails and very communicative. She made the whole weekend run smoothly, from the rehearsal the day before the wedding, to day of, and even after. She made every detail happen and was very organized. We had SO many people come up to us at the end of the night saying that the food was the best wedding food they had ever had! Amazing chef, wait staff, bartenders, etc. So glad we chose Tunxis for our venue! -

Absolutely amazing venue! Such an amazing price with great service, great staff, and a great location. Tunxis is so beautiful with all of the trees decorated with lights, the renovated pavilion and walkways, and the additional scenic photos along the golf course (water fountain, etc). Our wedding planner, Ashley, was so helpful in our planning meetings answering all of our questions and making us feel comfortable to ask whatever we wanted without making us feel like it was a silly question. Her attentiveness and care she put into our special day truly made it feel less stressful. And also a shoutout to the Tunxis staff for all of their work at maintaining the venue, setting up, cleaning up, and making sure everything and everyone was where it was supposed to be. We really like how you can bring your own pre-assembled materials and decor prior to the wedding day and have Tunxis staff set it up. Would absolutely recommend Tunxis Country Club for anyone looking for an outdoor (and excellent indoor alternative) wedding! -

My wife and I had the absolute best experience with Tunxis. It was affordable, beautiful during the fall flexible with how we wanted our whole day to look and made everything run the smoothest as possible. Nothing went wrong. We had such a wonderful experience at Tunxis. From multiple planning meetings to the tasting, to emails back and forth prior to the wedding day, they were always super responsive and helpful. Ashley was fantastic- she made sure everything was taken care of and organized. She wrangled everyone so everyone was always where they needed to be. And she perfectly arranged all of our decor- it was exactly how I had pictured it in my head! The food was great, the venue was beautiful, and all of our guests were commenting on how wonderful it was. Truly grateful for such an amazing place and team! -

The most magical venue!
My husband and I had our dream wedding at Tunxis Country Club on 10/5/24. It was truly the most magical day and I couldn’t have been happier with our decision to host the most important day of our lives here! Ashley was incredible. Through out the entire process she kept in constant communication with us, answered all my questions over the course of the year, and when it came to day of she made sure everything was FLAWLESS. The atmosphere, food, staff, and overall set up was a 10/10. I would recommend this venue and Ashley a hundred times over. -

This was the perfect venue for us and the coordinator, Ashley D, absolutely killed it! Absolutely stunning with the lights at night, offers an outdoor experience while being fully covered in case of rain. Food was delicious, we received many compliments from family and friends about their filet specifically! Words can't describe how thankful we were for Ashley. She answered every one of my emails throughout the entire process leading up, made sure everything went as scheduled on the day, set everything up as far as our decor and then cleaned it and packed it all up for us the night of. The day certainly would not have gone as smooth without her!! -

We came to look at the venue a year before our wedding and meet with Ashley, she was very respectful understanding attentive to details asked us what we were looking for in our wedding gave us vendors they use and provided us with a stress free planning of our wedding, the Chef at the venue was fantastic the food choices were amazing and delicious, our wedding night was out of this world and we are so grateful we chose this venue and working with Ashley -

When we say our wedding day had zero hiccups, we mean it and so much of that is thanks to Tunxis and its staff! Ashley is a fantastic venue coordinator - responsive to text, calls, and emails. She ensured the venue looked fantastic, including setting up the decor we supplied, and put in a long day to support us - arriving before we did in the morning and staying to box up all our items at the end of the night. The wedding packages Tunxis offers were amazing: inclusive and well-priced. We didn’t need to purchase or rent many items because Tunxis already had them and offered them to us to use without additional cost: ceremony arch, drapery, linens, easels, baskets, etc. Our guests loved the beautiful setting of the outdoor pavilion and how comfortable the reception space felt even on an 85-degree late July day. They also appreciated all the different fun moments throughout the space: corn hole, bocce, the fire pit, the “starlit” dance floor. The attached, climate-controlled bridal suite was the perfect space to get ready, fitting 7 bridal party members and 3 beauty professionals with ease. The food was a hit - our guests are still talking about the amazing bread offered during cocktail hour and we loved the baby spinach salad! We used the nearby Farmington Inn for our room block and it was so easy to run a shuttle to and from Tunxis. Don’t sleep on this wedding location in central Connecticut! Tunxis’ outdoor pavilion is beautiful, unique, and so well-run. -

Perfect for Small Weddings
My husband and I planned a very small and intimate wedding and were having difficulty finding a venue that would suit a wedding of less than 100 people. The Fireside Room was a perfect venue for our October wedding. We appreciated the all inclusiveness of the venue and all the support Ashley, Kelsey and their team provided leading up to our wedding and the day of our wedding. Ashley and Kelsey patiently answered all of our questions and met with us along the way whenever we requested to figure out logistics. On the day of, Kelsey and her team helped set up the venue and packed up everything at the end of the night, giving us one less thing to worry about while we got ready and later wrapped up the night. I would definitely recommend Tunxis to anyone looking for a smaller, intimate wedding. -

Get Married at Tunxis
We couldn't have been happier with our wedding at Tunxis! The space is beautiful, especially with the renovations. In fall with the twinkle lights, scenic pines, and cozy fire pit, you can't ask for a better space! We were lucky enough to get a perfect fall day after a bunch of rain, but we were still able to have our ceremony outdoors - that field has some incredible drainage. Tunxis really shines in our photos!
Ashley was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process. She answered emails quickly and has a great calm energy that I'm sure all brides appreciate! On the day of our wedding, she anticipated things before we could even think of them and went above and beyond to make sure we had food and anything we might need. Speaking of food, the food is delicious, I'm still thinking about the gnocchi!
I don't have a single bad thing to say about our experience with Tunxis, I would get married there again in a heartbeat! -

Tunxis Country Club for Your Wedding
Tunxis Country Club is not your typical venue! Just imagine being outdoors in the woods, surrounded by tall pine trees entangled with string lights. It feels magical when you're there and you don't want the night to end. My husband and I looked far and wide for a venue where we felt would capture both of our adventuring souls while still in Connecticut. We wanted a venue where guests could roam around freely and enjoy themselves instead of being stuck in a typical ballroom to either their chairs, dance floor or bar. Tunxis Country Club was exactly it! We were given so many compliments from guests on how fun this venue was compared to others they have been to. While planning our wedding, we worked with Ashley at the site. She was great to work with: an easy going coordinator, a reliable communicator, and an expert on all things wedding. My husband and I wanted to DIY a lot of our decor and Ashley was accommodating to a lot of the ideas we had. Also, we weren't pressured only to use vendors off of their preferred list, which was a nice touch for those who don't want a cookie cutter wedding. Not to forget, a lot of our guests were impressed with the food served at our wedding by the chef! Sometimes wedding food is "just wedding food", but this wasn't the case. Overall, we are so happy to have used Tunxis Country Club as our wedding venue and would greatly recommend them to anyone! We can't get over how perfect it all came out. We loved our wedding so much and hope others can enjoy Tunxis Country Club and all they have to offer. -

Highly recommend Tunxis for any event, especially weddings! As an outside team of planners/event coordinators Tunxis’ very own venue coordinator, Ashley, worked seamlessly with our team to help manage the logistics of the day from every angle! There is nothing Tunxis’ venue team can’t do, they are a team of friendly, helpful, well-organized and detail orientated staff that are quick problem solvers and a delight to work with! The Tunxis team is also very flexible, making last minute timeline changes a breeze! Overall no task is too small or too big for the Tunxis team. 100% recommend and give 5 glowing stars to their team!! -

Wedding ceremony & Reception 10000/10
I would give 500 stars if I could. This venue was so gorgeous and they just redid a lot of it so it was extra nice looking for our wedding. The service was incredible and the food was outstanding!! Ashley the coordinator set up the venue BEAUTIFULLY for us and never once got annoyed by the thousands of anxious texts I sent her ;) I couldn’t recommend this place more. The ceremony set up was beautiful, the reception was unreal.. and for your food tasting they literally shut down the restaurant and give you a free private date with your partner. The entire experience was incredible and were def going out to eat there every year for our anniversary for the rest of our lives. If you book here do a hotel block at the Farmington Inn and Suites! They book up fast so have your guests get rooms asap. It’s right down the road! And rehearsal dinner at fork and fire- also right down the street. Incredible town and made for an easy fun stress free wedding! -

Ashley DellaRatta was amazing!
Tunxis country club is not only a STUNNING venue but they also have amazing coordinators that are extremely hands on throughout your planning process. Ashley DellaRatta made sure our day went as smoothly as it did. Ashley was there to answer every question we had along the way and was extremely organized throughout the entire process.
My husband and I were very confident that we were in great hands with Ashley. On our day everything was better than we could have imagined. The day was magical and breathtaking and we could not be happier with the outcome!
If you are looking for a beautiful venue surrounded by gorgeous trees and nature with an amazing hands on coordinator, then we highly recommended you go with Tunxis Country Club and should request to work with Ashley DellRatta she is a ROCK STAR! -

Tunxis Plantation was the first venue we ever visited on our list of potential locations, and we instantly fell in love with the Pavilion. Its rustic feel, large outdoor setting, nestled among huge pine trees with lights and vines and nature everywhere you look. The venue was like a fairy-tale forest, and was the perfect rustic, natural venue for the theme of our wedding. The size was perfect, with our 120 guests easily seated with plenty of extra room. Just when things couldn't get any better, you meet the staff of TPCC. Their event managers are extremely helpful, very friendly, and committed to making sure that your special day is perfect. Communication with Arianna was great, she was always quick to answer our many questions and make any subtle changes we had as the planning process continued. She was always available and gladly willing to sit down and go over details for the ceremony and reception with us. As the event neared, and our rehearsals happened, she was committed to making sure that every member of the family and bridal party were comfortable with their roles during the ceremony and reception, and the venue even hosted us in their Tavern restaurant for our rehearsal dinner. The venue offers an amazing food menu for weddings, with tons of plated options and a buffet option. We highly recommend the buffet, which our guests loved because they could try a little bit of everything, and we've gotten raving reviews from our guests at how incredible the food was at our wedding! The open bar all night was also a huge hit, and TPCC accommodated our needs for libations flawlessly, going as far as to get the exact craft IPA beer I wanted on tap! With the pond, fields, golf courses, and pine woods, there was no shortage of locations to take breath-taking bridal pictures.Tunxis Country Club's reply:

Christine Sent on 08/21/2018We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the pavilion at Tunxis Country Club this past Saturday, August 18th. My now husband and I first saw the pavilion dusted with snow back in March 2017, and we knew it was perfect for us. The draped lights, the lights wrapped around the surrounding trees, the pergola, the fire pit...everything was so beautiful and serene. Leading up to our event, I worked with Loredana and Arianna. They were both so approachable, professional, flexible. and responsive. They hosted a fantastic tasting for all of their couples in April where we got to sample all of the amazing food. Arianna handled all of the details in a knowledgable and calming fashion, which was so helpful to me as my anxiety increased in the weeks leading up to the event. She also expertly handled our rehearsal and even served our guests popcorn at the end of the night!
I had dropped off all of our decor the day before. I trusted that they would set it up perfectly, and I was right. Everything was absolutely perfection. As the day carried on, the skies grew dark and the air heavy--but none of it mattered, as we were protected by the enormous pavilion. It changed our ceremony and photography plans slightly, but because of how the pavilion is set up, it was incredibly easy to pivot our approach. We decided to use the pergola as the backdrop, which I loved because it looked so amazing with gray curtains and gorgeous floral swags.
Throughout the night, I heard praise from many guests. "This place is incredible! How did you even find it?" Some of my other vendors hadn't even worked a wedding here before. To top it off, it's one of the most affordable venues that I found (and I looked at over 60 places). It is a hidden gem.
P.S.: Tunxis has a star staff member named David. He took care of us all night, cried and hugged us after our ceremony, and cheered for us as we made our formal entrance. The entire staff rocked, but you will seriously love David. Thank you, Tunxis! -

Arianna was so great with setting up all of our decor pieces and mad everything look so beautiful. Also was always there to answer questions. Was so thoughtful to turn around during cocktail hour and have a platter of the apps served to myself and the groom- WOW! Thank you Thank you!!
We are still having people call us on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was. Chef Alex and his team nailed it! The beverage selections were also fab and a crowd favorite.
Also we can not forget to thank the gentlemen who drove the bridal party around in golf carts to the photo area and brought us directly to the bus when it was raining at the end of the wedding! 5 Star Service from start to finish!
The venue is the perfect place for a wedding that you and your guests will never forget! With the perfect food, beverages, magical lights, amazing photo spots and most importantly all the people that work at Tunxis you will feel like a princess!

It was one of the first venues we saw, we fell in love and picked a date then and there, cancelling our other appointments. It has a great woodsy/outdoor theme with lights strung on the trees and it is very spacious. The pergola was also beautifully decorated by the venue. We had both our ceremony and reception there and everything went smoothly. Leading up to our wedding day we had multiple meetings with Loredana and then more recently with Arianna. Any questions/concerns we had they answered promptly and helped to keep our stress level down. Arianna did a beautiful job setting up all of our decorations according to our vision. Then at the end of the wedding everything was perfectly packaged back up for us to take home. The food was pretty good, from what my husband and I got to eat of it! Patrick was an amazing bartender. He made a drink that our guests ended up calling “the Patrick special” and our signature drinks were awesome. David was great taking us and our wedding party on the golf carts to the gazebo, he made it so fun. All in all our day was perfect and we didn’t have to worry about anything. We received so many compliments on the venue. I would highly recommend Tunxis Pavilion for your wedding venue, you won’t be disappointed.

Kristyn Sent on 09/29/2017While searching for a venue for my daughter’s bridal shower, we decided to combine it with a small golf outing for the groom too. Since we don’t live in the Hartford County area, my husband and I did a drive by some of the venues. When we pulled up to Tunxis Country Club (and it was in the winter!) I knew it was “the place” to host our event.
Tavern on the Green overlooks the beautifully landscaped Tunxis Plantation Country Club. The flowers were still vibrant and in bloom the day of our event and absolutely gorgeous! It was the perfect setting. The facility was bright and clean and just lovely.
The staff is a delight and clearly dedicated to excellence! Loredana took me on a tour of the facility and helped to customize the menu to fit our needs. The day of the event, Kristine and her staff was extremely attentive. When I arrived to set-up I decided to add a few more tables (for games/prizes and kid’s crafts), before I knew it, her staff was setting them up. She checked in with me continuously throughout the day to make sure everything was running as planned. Everyone was friendly and responsive to any requests, they even helped load all the gifts and bring them out to the car at the end of the day! The golf pro, Lou helped organize the groups, carts and goodie bags for the guys. The day ran effortlessly.
The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it! Plates and compliments were overflowing! All the guests raved about the “amazing food” and said this was the best shower they have ever been too.
Playing the Green course was a pleasant and challenging experience for the golfers. The greens were in good shape and impressive for a public course. The guys were treated to a bite at the snack bar and said “the burgers were delicious and the roll was so fresh!”
The Bride-to-be loved it and said “Today was amazing. Seriously, PERFECT. I had so much fun today!" -

Marlo and Kristine made sure we were organized and on schedule from day one until our rehearsal and everything the day of was absolutely perfect. Marlo and Kristine were great communicators and responded quickly to all of our questions during our planning process. They also did a great job making the large pavilion space work for our very small wedding. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The whole staff at Tunxis was very attentive during our reception and many people came to our sweetheart table throughout the night to make sure we were doing well and had everything we needed. Also, the golf cart limos that took us to the pond to take post-ceremony pictures and that took us to our car after the reception was a really nice touch. Thanks to everyone at Tunxis, our day was wonderful and completely stress free. Highly recommended! Tunxis is a hidden gem when it comes to wedding venues. -

I highly recommend Tunxis for any event, especially weddings! We had our rehearsal dinner in the tavern, and our wedding in the pavilion. Ashley and McKenzie help every step of the way with planning, setup, and coordinating the event. They are super accommodating for everything we needed as well, whether it be including cultural aspects, catering to dietary restrictions, or providing storage space before/after the event.
The Tavern is such a cozy space and every aspect of our rehearsal dinner was perfect! Everyone loved the vibe of the fireplace room for an intimate family style dinner. The newer linen-less tables are gorgeous!
We chose the pavilion as our wedding venue because it is non traditional (we did not want a ballroom), can have a rustic theme or a more natural elegant theme, and nearly everything is included (tables, linens, food, bar, centerpiece accessories, bridal suite, etc). And not to mention the pavilion in the magical wooded area is absolutely gorgeous in the Fall!
Our guests have had nothing but great things to say about the venue, the service, and the food! The food was amazing (the salmon was a hit!) and the atmosphere was top notch. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and helped gather our decor/personal items at the end of the night for an easy end to the night! -

This venue was absolutely stunning! It fit our rustic fairytale theme extremely well. The food was delicious (our guests thought so too) and everything was very timely and organized.
