Lifesaver!!
Sharon was AMAZING. She made sure everything ran smooth and made sure to take care of every detail. We used her for day of coordination and she was by far one of the best vendors! She is affordable and worth every dollar! She made sure to have every detail taken care of and did a great job communicating with all the other vendors. She really allowed us to enjoy the day and not to be stressed about anything! If you are looking for a wedding day coordinator you need to book Sharon! -

We LOVED having Sharon. She really eased my stresses the day of but she especially helped ease my stresses and worries leading up to our Wedding day in the middle of a pandemic. Sharon being a part of our day was an investment well worth it. 💕 -

Lesley Sent on 03/29/2010I had a wonderful experience working with Sharon Holm for day-of coordination. I knew that I could (and wanted) to plan most of the wedding myself but also was realistic to the fact that planning the timing of the ceremony was something I wasn't going to be able to prepare for. I didn't want to be stressed thinking about when people would be sat, walking down the aisle, etc. so the day-of coordination service worked perfectly for me. I met with Sharon once before the wedding to go over family seating, music, feel and timeline. I felt like she knew what was going on and all would be figured out at the rehearsal. She came to a unique venue (Vive le Ranch) and worked with an incoming snow storm changing ceremony plans from outside to inside with ease and flexibility. Since she was relaxed - I was relaxed. Everything went smoothly (even with an unexpected 6 inches of snow) and I greatly appreciated her flexibility and professionalism in going with the flow (or snow, in our case!). I would definitely recommend working with Sharon - she'll get you down the aisle and to "I DO" with no worries! -

Our decision to hire Sharon Holmes was based on her assurances that we would enjoy a stress-free day, fully immersed in the joy of our wedding. Unfortunately, our experience did not align with these promises, as several key elements were mismanaged or ignored entirely. For a $1,500 investment, we expected a higher level of professionalism and care. Here are the specific concerns:
1. Late Set-Up and Poor Execution: With a 4 PM ceremony start time, it was alarming to find at 3 PM that tables were still not set. Sharon seemed more focused on casual conversations than the pressing task of preparing for our guests. The mother and father of the bride, along with other family members, had to step in to complete the setup. Even the silverware she placed lacked forks in several settings.
2. Lack of Vendor Coordination: Sharon’s instructions for the tableware and linens resulted in them being delivered to an exposed outdoor area, where they were quickly scattered and soiled by the wind. The situation was rectified only thanks to the quick thinking of our bartender from Summit, who took over to reset the tables.
3. Disregard for Detailed Plans: Despite having provided Sharon with a comprehensive Google Sheet outlining every aspect of the event, including table arrangements and timelines, these details were either ignored or executed incorrectly. This lack of attention led to a disorganized appearance and disrupted flow.
4. Failure to Communicate with the DJ: One of Sharon’s most crucial responsibilities was to coordinate with the DJ to ensure the smooth execution of the evening’s program. Unfortunately, this never happened. The planned events and announcements, including the games we had prepared, were overlooked entirely, diminishing the impact of our carefully planned moments.
5. Microphone and Audio Issues: The microphones provided for our vows were nonfunctional. While this was technically the DJ’s equipment, it was Sharon’s responsibility to ensure all elements were tested and working. As a result, our vows and the officiant’s words were unheard by our guests—an irreplaceable moment lost.
6. Absence and Lack of Leadership: Sharon’s role should have been central, guiding the event and ensuring a seamless experience for us and our guests. Instead, she remained disengaged, and many guests did not even realize we had a planner. Most concerningly, she failed to fulfill her promise to welcome our guests as they arrived.
7. Buffet Setup Mismanagement: The buffet tables were positioned too close to the wall, leaving insufficient space for the catering team to move comfortably and serve guests. This could have been avoided with better communication between Sharon and the catering team.
While I do not seek reimbursement, I hope this review will encourage Sharon to reflect on these missteps and take steps to improve her services for future couples. Weddings are a culmination of love and meticulous planning each detail matters. It is my sincere hope that she can rise to meet the expectations of the clients who place their trust in her. -
