We can’t say enough about how incredible Jason and TSG Productions were for our wedding on August 21st at The Tides in North Haledon, NJ. From our very first conversation, Jason was professional, responsive, and genuinely excited to help us create a celebration that reflected us — and he absolutely delivered.
From the flawless ceremony audio to our perfectly timed first dance, the beautiful cake cutting, the absolutely fun photo booths, and the dramatic sparklers moment, every detail flowed seamlessly. Jason coordinated everything so well that it felt like a perfectly produced event — yet still incredibly personal and heartfelt.
The custom monogram he projected on the wall added a stunning and elegant touch that elevated the room and made the space feel uniquely ours.
What truly blew us (and our guests) away was the energy on the dance floor. Jason kept it packed all night — from two little kids dancing nonstop to our amazing 90-year-old guest who didn’t leave the floor once! The music was spot-on, and Jason had an incredible ability to read the room and keep everyone engaged from start to finish.
He wasn’t just a DJ — he was the heartbeat of our wedding day. His attention to detail, professionalism, and passion for what he does were evident in every moment.

Jason at TSG production went above and beyond for our August 2023 wedding - there’s no other way to describe it! He worked with us to better light the reception space, even going out of his way to connect with our photographer before the event to coordinate. My family is Caribbean and my husband’s family is British - I was nervous about finding a DJ who could play to both crowds, while also catering to our younger crew who wanted to dance. Jason played a variety of genres, always attuned to the vibe, and did a fantastic job of incorporating reggae into the cocktail hour. The ceremony sound system worked flawlessly and all of my guests commented on how much fun they had - many described it as the most fun they’ve ever had dancing at a wedding. Their planning tools and website were easy to use, and Jason responded to all communication promptly. I cannot recommend TSG productions more! -

The Only DJ You Want To Book
I ended up finding Jason through Instagram. I remember after seeing all of his IG reels that he would deliver the vibes we wanted.
His website made it super easy to keep track of details and the music list.
Jason even ended up having a leg injury right before our wedding but he still showed up to DJ it himself, rather then sending a replacement.
Everyone loved the music and no one left the dance floor all night.

They made our day wonderful. People are still talking about how much fun they had. I'm so happy my brother referred me to them. My mom was on the dance floor all night and my husband had so much fun. He hardly dances and he hardly sat down the music was so good. I will definitely be referring them to anyone that needs DJ services. My family and friends were not at all prepared for the party that would ensue at our wedding! Jason had the dance floor filled even BEFORE dinner was served, and he had us SWEATING all night long. He is truly a VERY talented DJ. He observes the crowd intently, observes the vibe of the room and each moment as it passes, and always selects the perfect tune to play. It was hit after hit after hit and EVERYONE at our inter-cultural wedding was dancing. Working with him leading up to the wedding was seamless. He TRULY made our wedding the most lit wedding I’ve ever been to. If you are looking to PARTY hard and your guests love to dance, you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!! -

TSG Productions did not disappoint. The dance floor stayed packed and we danced all night with out wedding guests. When I asked for a night of just family and friends in a room filled with love, good vibes and good music, that is exactly what I got! Our DJ, Dino Davis, kept the tunes spinning all night and was cool when we had last minute changes to our introductions and first dance. The owner, Jason, was beyond helpful and answered any questions I had and made sure to check in with us leading up to the wedding. If you're looking for a DJ that really knows how to read the room and keep your guests on their feet then TSG Productions is definitely the choice for you. -

Wow! Just reflecting on my wedding day makes me wish that we could do it again with Jason and TSG Productions. We selected the Platinum package: Dancing on clouds, a must! Custom pin spot lighting, so tasteful! Plush Leather DJ Booth is classy and the display photos are such an amazing touch that I’ve never seen at any other wedding! The service provided was beyond amazing. Everyone was very professional, they ask the perfect questions in advance to personalize your day and it was all about us! Everyone was punctual and the photos taken by the team that displayed on the photo booth throughout the night were really nice to see since you miss so many parts of your wedding and the professional photos can have a long turnaround.
Be sure to have Jason and his team as the DJ for your wedding and rest assured that everything will be just as you planned and discussed. He even followed up days after the wedding to make sure that I was satisfied and sent over a collage video until the professional photos come. Jason, you really made March 24, 2022 memorable, thank you so much! No regrets! -

My experience with TSG from the consultation to the day of my wedding was overall great. Jason was very responsive with any questions or requests I had. The online portal they provide made the music selection process simple. Caleb our Dj kept the vibes going the entire night. The MC did a great job as well interacting with my guests and keeping the energy going. My guests are still raving about how LIT my wedding was and that’s thanks to TSG. Jason and his team at TSG were so attentive, professional, and helpful! From the personalized phone consultations before the big day, to his suggestions and check-ins, to his big personality as a DJ, we were thrilled! His photo booth attendant also received rave reviews from our guests, and the dancing on the clouds effect for our first dance added a special touch that we will cherish forever. If you can, splurge and get the Platinum or Diamond package. It saved us the trouble of getting separate photo booth services, and the DJ booth really elevated the overall feel of our ballroom. He also had a nice custom monogram on the dance floor!We will use TSG for future events for sure! Thanks Jason! -

Jason was an excellent DJ who literally turned our wedding into the party we dreamed of when planning our big day!! Prior to the wedding, we struggled picking the perfect songs for the many different parts of the day but once we got that together and answered Jason's thoughtful, but detailed questionnaire it allowed him to create the perfect mix of music. It included a mixture of our cultures and kept the party jumping! One of our guests said "This is my 7th wedding this year and it is by far the most fun." It's an impeccable description of what our reception was and Jason was a big part of that. He was professional, on time, and worth every penny. I would recommend him to anyone planning a reception to remember. -

Short of picking the venue and photographer, picking the right DJ was important to us. We went to a wedding last year where TSG Dj-ed and from that point on, we knew if that when it was our time TSG would be at the top of the list. Jason and his team were highly responsive, professional, and great to work with. They were organized and made the process and coordination a breeze. They provided the energy, excitement, great entertainment that made our reception the carnival we dreamed it would be. Our whole wedding was a VIBE and it's all thanks to Jason! Jason was the DJ and MC for our wedding on 8/18/19. He was so sweet, professional, and easy to work with from the start. He had great communication and would always respond to our questions and concerns asap! What I loved about TSG was the client portal! I loved that we can go in and enter in all of our details about ceremony and reception. I also liked that he asked about our background so he can get a sense of what music to play for our guests. Let me tell you, the day of the wedding he was the star of the show.. after us of course :) but he played the most amazing mixes that had everyone on the dance floor! I loved that he played old r&b during dinner that literally had everyone singing at the top of their lungs. I'm Dominican and my husband is Guyanese and Jason knew exactly what to play. From Soca to merengue! Not only was he an awesome DJ but he was also a super professional and punctual MC that really followed the timeline we created. All of our guests told us how much fun they had at our wedding and a huge part was due to our amazing DJ and MC Jason. I'll forever recommend him! -

My husband and I were extremely satisfied with Jason and TSG Productions. I met my husband over a decade ago in college and we remain very close to many of our college friends. Needless to say, I wanted the vibe of our wedding to be reflective of music from that era. During our first call I learned that Jason went to a neighboring school and even DJ'd at some of our college parties. Once he began to name very specific songs from the genres we selected, I knew he was the perfect DJ for us. We also wanted a drummer to have a live element accompany his DJ set. He was able to recommend a colleague he's worked with in the past to our package for a reasonable price. Leading up to our big day, Jason was very proactive in answering any questions and even coordinated a meet up so we could observe his DJ set beforehand. His professionalism and attention to detail continued the day of the wedding.
We had a very unorthodox location and set up. Our venue provided one space for the ceremony, one for the cocktail hour, a third for dinner (all outdoors) and the fourth area was inside for dancing. Jason was able to accommodate all of our locations and work cooperatively with our wedding planner and venue owner to make everything we wanted work. His uplighting and GOBO completely transformed our dance floor. He ran into several challenges with our venue's power supply as well as the amount of space needed to accommodate some of Jason's equipment. In the end, Jason went above and beyond to make sure we got the best show possible.
Overall we were extremely satisfied with the service and personal touch and have nothing but positive things to say about Jason and TSG Productions. It's been almost three months since our big day and we STILL have friends and family commenting on how fun and amazing the music was. We recommend him for any wedding, celebration, or corporate engagement that requires the highest level of professionalism and a unique personal touch. They get a 5 star rating all the way from us. -

Jason was AMAZING! I got married 10/7 and danced the night away. The music for my ceremony was clear and there wasn’t any hitches. My husband is from MD and I’m from the West Indies, so GOGO and Soca HAD to be played at the reception.
It was an absolute amazing night and people stayed on the dance floor - my husband and I definitely did. He did great at playing songs that worked for the crowd. He reads the room based off your guests so the experience is exclusive to you! He also provided the up lighting and spot lighting which was beautiful and enhanced the room. He even surprised us with a tv that displayed a slideshow of photos of my husband and I. It was just so thoughtful and unexpected. If you’re looking for a DJ who can cater to your crowd, Jason’s the DJ for that! -

What a night !!!
Jason and his team were amazing! They made our vision come to life and kept our guests dancing till the very last minute - they didn’t want it to end! Our package included DJ booth, dancing on the clouds, and indoor cold sparklers, and they were all phenomenal. They also played photos from our ceremony on the monitors which was a beautiful touch. ETA, 10/12/2021: I appreciated that Jason contacted us to walk through my original review (below) together. His reaching out is just another way that shows he really cares about providing a fantastic experience to his clients. I'd gotten that sense in our first phone call. Every wedding hits a snag or two behind the scenes, and guests almost never notice. I already believed that DJ Jason approached our wedding with every intention of exceeding the expectations he’d set for us. His initial apology during our reception and our conversation this evening confirmed it. While we don’t have any more big events planned in the next few months, Jason’s willingness to 1) calmly explain what happened and apologize in an effort to make things right, and 2) listen to customer input, even after our wedding, all go a long way. We have given a referral to a friend and will certainly consider using his team again. Guests 18 yrs old to 80 yrs old were on the dancefloor together all night!

(Initial Review, 10/10/2021): TL; DR: Great communication, professional and enthusiastic through most of the planning process. As the date approached, the more it seemed like service was becoming hit-or-miss, including nearly missing our ceremony.
We found DJ Jason through another wedding site and after a positive initial phone call, we were excited to book with his team and felt he had a solid sense of the vibe we wanted. To his credit, he was willing to work with us to customize a package that fit our timeframe. When he asked about our venue, we explained that it's a historical site and had essentially non-existent wifi (my husband explained that both of our cell services and our GPS dropped every time we had visited the site to date). Jason shared that it would be his first time working at our venue and offered to do a site visit in advance. About 4-6 weeks before our wedding, when we start trying to schedule the primary vendors for the venue's required two-week walkthrough, we learned that Jason was unavailable to visit at all. We took pics of the possible locations for him to set up and sent those to him. Our DOC and her team said they were scheduling a virtual/FaceTime walkthrough with him. I don't know if that actually happened. About a week before our wedding, we asked how to get our playlists to him. He reminded to we use the company's online portal. At this time, he said he would arrive by 1:30 pm on the day of the wedding to set up for us. We had communicated internally to our DOC and all of our vendors that while our invites read 2:30pm, we intended to give guests a 15-minute grace period and start our ceremony at 2:45pm. Jason said that he would try to arrive by 1:30pm which would give him plenty of time for setup. We reiterated that he would need 2 booth setups because the ceremony was on the back lawn of the site and the reception was on the mansion's front lawn – about a 25-30-yard distance, with no spot that offered a clear sight line to both lawns.
The day of the wedding, the DOC and her team came to me throughout my makeup/hair time with updates about the overall setup. By 1:30pm there was no DJ. By 2:00pm there was no DJ. My husband has since told me that he called Jason around 2pm to ask for his updated ETA and according to him, Jason had realized en route that our venue was a 2-hour drive for him instead of an hour. It sounds like he didn't take the time to check the driving directions until the morning of the wedding. By 2:15pm, my husband says he and our Best Man were trying to make a plan B using their beats pills. Jason arrived at about 2:20/2:25 pm according to a few guests and the coordinators. I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't already planned the 15-minute buffer into our timeline. This meant we missed out on the tolling of the bells and the 1-2 instrumentals we'd requested before the ceremony. The coordinators came and told me that he was struggling to connect to the wifi...despite our warning that the wifi wasn't reliable and hotspots don't work any better.
I'm grateful that he partially listened to us and downloaded the ceremony music prior to the wedding day. That playlist went well, though only the officiant had a mic despite our contract noting multiple mics so guests could hear us say our vows too. The cocktail hour music included an improvised playlist, I guess because he was still trying to connect to the wifi? The guests thought it was fine, and only we knew the difference.
I'm unsure how it happened, but he got ahead of things at the top of the dinner hour and in introducing himself, he also started making remarks that we had communicated we were saving for our wedding party to make. As an example, the coordinator and the wedding party knew which bridesmaid and groomsman were going to take the mic and call up all of our godparents to stand together as one of them blessed the meal. I guess he misunderstood or misread the coordinator's timeline and called up just the one godmother to bless the meal.
Jason came over and introduced himself and offered an apology for the shaky start and promised to come through for us for the rest of the reception. After the cocktail hour, he did focus on playing songs from our requested playlist and people enjoyed themselves and definitely stayed on the dancefloor. While we intentionally seated the older adults the farthest from the speakers, our younger friends who were seated near the speakers later told us the music was still too loud. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that no one asked him to lower it to the volume used for the cocktail hour.
We had been booked with him for at least 3 months and by the week of the wedding, he told us that he'd booked a wedding after ours ended. Our timeline indicated our event ended at 7pm. We said we wanted to make our remarks and share our thanks to our guests at 6:45pm. He made sure to find us so we could do that, which was good. We didn't get our special request last song and he promptly began packing up at 7:05pm. He'd also made sure to self-promote when he signed off, which left a bad taste for me. I get the need to promote the company, and especially after the past year and a half, but for the number of missed opportunities to just deliver what had been promised, we would have been happy to refer business to them. As an example, a guest and his wife have already asked us who our DJ was. Overall, our guests had a great time and asked about an afterparty, but I feel like we were shortchanged the difference between what was promised and what was delivered. -

I can’t recommend TSG enough! Jason was very professional and super fun. There was an issue with our venue’s AC (in the middle of July) and he still had people sweating on the dance floor all night. We probably weren’t the easiest clients for him since we needed such a variety of music played due to our very different cultures, but he totally nailed it. My husband is Haitian-American and he played some great Haitian and Caribbean music that got everyone to the dance floor. He also played some classic wedding music that some of the older guests really appreciated and current hip hop that got everyone dancing. I had so many compliments on my DJ following the wedding, everyone was asking me where I found him and telling me how much they liked him. If you book with TSG, you won’t be disappointed. I’m so glad we went with them.
