Great food and services!

I am a local wedding planner and Trumpet Vine is one of my favorite wedding caterers- not only do they make delicious and beautiful food- but their team is prompt to reply to emails, detail oriented and all-around team players! They really care about their quality- making sure all food is fresh and hot. They take care of their vendors and will always be eager to jump in and help make your day perfect! Definitely a vendor I love having on my team :)

Excellent catering

Erica and Trumpet Vine team catered our wedding in Paso Robles! We're so glad we chose Trumpet Vine, especially a snafu where another caterer completed ghosted us.

We wanted to give a big shoutout to Erica, who was a total dream to work with in the 1+ year process leading up to the wedding. She helped craft the menu, and she incorporated all of our changes and answered my many questions super promptly. They were also able to help with some specific requests with a large format champagne bottle and wine service. The food was delicious, beautifully plated, and generously portioned (good to know that the day-of portions are much larger than the tasting portions!).

Trumpet & Vine Catering did an amazing job for our wedding! We got married at Terra Mia on 9/17 and we're referred to Trumpet & Vine. They did an absolute wonderful job with all of the food, I had guests messaging me for days afterwards raving about it. Highly recommend the mac & cheese croquettes as an appetizer, it was our favorite. To say the least, the food was so tasty and good! The team at Trumpet & Vine were great with communication through out the process and made things so easy. We recommend them to anyone for catering! Thank you guys for all of your hard work at our wedding!

Amazing food - everyone impressed!

Working with Trumpet Vine Catering definitely helped set our wedding day apart from the others! We both love food and were so excited to have such a unique and fantastic menu for our wedding day to share with our friends and family! Both my fiancee and I think that wedding food can make or break your day, and Trumpet Vine definitely helped make ours amazing! We were able to taste our menu a few months prior, and pick the whole menu, with help from their chef! The whole experience was great, and everyone who attended raved about the food. We're so glad to have worked with them on our special day!

The absolute best

HIGHLY RECOMMEND - ONE OF THE BEST WEDDING DECISIONS WE MADE! First off, the food was so delicious that our guests are still reaching out to us to rave about how much they enjoyed their meals...months after our wedding. Being able to serve our loved ones a truly mouthwatering meal was especially important to my husband and me, as food is one of our love languages. Second, the end to end service we received from Sara, Chef Nick, and the TVC team was just outstanding. My husband and I wanted to create new, thoughtful dishes to reflect our venue and cultures, so Sara and Chef Nick worked tirelessly with us for weeks to curate the most perfect plates to share with our guests. I could go on and on about how much I appreciate this team and how amazing they were to us...but long story short, you really will not regret working with them!

Amazing experience all around!

Trumpet Vine catered our 50-person wedding with a Taco Bar and it was perfect! Everyone commented on how friendly and helpful the staff was all while making the experience stress-free for me. They cleaned and racked all of our rentals (which was amazing when the rental company showed up at 8 am the next morning) and they left us SOOO much leftover food which was totally unexpected and we were so grateful when no one wanted to cook the next day.

Above and Beyond Service

My husband and I were blown away by the level of professional service we received from Erica and her team at Trumpet Vine. We were constantly being offered food and drinks throughout the evening which made it so much easier to prioritize eating on such a busy day! Delicious food & excellent service!

Trumpet Vine did an amazing job catering our wedding of 200 people. Erica was very attentive from our tasting day to our wedding day, bringing us a glass of wine and appetizers right after our ceremony! Such a thoughtful touch when everyone is rushing around after the ceremony. The food was delicious and we couldn't have been happier with hiring Trumpet Vine!

The most amazing food and service!

Erica and her team at Trumpet Vine were an absolute pleasure to work with. I will recommend them to anybody I know getting married in the SLO/Paso Robles area. They worked with us to refine the menu, were always communicative, and did an incredible job executing everything that was planned. It really felt like fine dining at our wedding and we had so many guests tell us how much they enjoyed the food and dinner service. This is the crème de la crème of catering!

Every single one of our wedding guests complimented the food. It was top notch and they did such a beautiful job in creating our menu theme (Italian/ Mediterranean). The food was delicious! The charcuterie was out of this World. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, professional and went above and beyond to ensure guests were happy. Working with Trumpet Vine required the least effort, on our part, with the greatest outcome. Aside from tasting and choosing our menu, they took care of every detail. Amazing Catering

Trumpet Vine Catering was an amazing group to have cater your event. We used them for my daughter's wedding reception and have no regrets. Could not chose what was the signature dish as all were exceptional from the charcuterie, the meze appetizers to the family style dinner with fish and steak. The food was amazing but not to be out done by the service. By the time they left my house you would never have known they were there. Would definitely use them for any event!

Simply Amazing!

Where do I start? In short all the food provided by Trumpet Vine Catering was the best wedding food we've ever had. Many of our guests commented that it was the best meals they've ever had period! From our first contact we knew Trumpet Vine Catering would be ideal for us. We wanted a company that would be creative but offer dishes individual to us. They helped us craft a menu with farm-to-table organic produce and were truly excited and enthusiastic while doing so.
During our tasting we fell in love with their attention to detail and together we adapted our ideas and added their expertise which took all the dishes to the next level.
The presentation of all our plates and hors d'oeuvres fit our theme perfectly and every member of their team was professional and polite. They were all seasoned and made the day run smoothly no guest ever wanted or waited for anything and they regularly brought us drinks and appetizers during our photo session which was a life saver and meant we didn't miss out on any of they yummy morsels.
The only thing I wish is that I would have frozen the food they prepared for our 1 year anniversary vs. our cake tier as I crave it still on a weekly basis! We (as well as our guests) are so happy we had Trumpet Vine Catering be part of our special day and we highly recommend them for any catering needs as they are truly the best!

Amazing food! Hire them for everything!

Trumpet Vine Catering catered our wedding in September. My husband and I live in San Francisco and many of our guests were coming in from New York City, Los Angeles, New Orleans and other foodie towns. In other words, we had some discerning and picky guests when it comes to food! Trumpet Vine did not disappoint. At our tasting, my husband (then fiance) were BLOWN AWAY by the top tiered quality of the food. On the wedding day, our guests continuously approached us to let us know how much they loved the food that we served at the wedding. In fact while I was sitting at the sweetheart table, I was getting nonstop texts during the reception from my friends/guests letting me know how much they loved the food. If I ever have another event in Paso Robles, I will be sure to go to Trumpet Vine first for all of my catering needs and wants!

We used Trumpet Vine for our October wedding at Hammersky Vineyards. It was a destination wedding for us, so the food made us nervous. There was nothing to fear once we hired Trumpet Vine. From the first email to the end, the whole team was incredibly responsive and helped me create an amazing menu. We opted not to do a tasting to save on money, and turns out we didn't need to. Our guests are still talking about the food, 5 months later -- especially the lamb lollipops! 100% amazing food, great price, and wonderful service. Thank you Trumpet Vine!

When we planned our event we had 2 requirements: 1.) Don’t run out of drinks, and 2.) Have a plated meal. Trumpet Vine pulled off a beautiful plated meal for 140 people, flawlessly. We still hear about how good the food at our wedding was. You may try to tell yourself that no one remembers the food, that is simply not true. Trumpet Vine kept a continuous line of appetizers coming out, they even made sure we (the bride and groom) got to eat early and often! The bottom-line with your caterer: there was plenty of delicious food. They did a fantastic job, and we won’t be able to look back on our wedding without our mouths watering over the Short Rib and Risotto.

Trumpet Vine Catering are AMAZING!! Jennie and Gayle work their magic to make your event perfect. We had TVC cater our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Greengate Ranch & Vineyard. Both events went off without a hitch. Everything was so creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. We explained our vision for the food at our wedding and they delivered it perfectly. The food that they make is NOT your typical boring wedding food. Between our two events, we had fun and new foods and presentations. For example a Guacamole bar (yes please!), a plated dessert trio, and mozzarella/olive oil tasting! We come from a foodie family/friend group, and our guests were so impressed and we still receive compliments about the food at both events! In addition to the food, TVC had such wonderful, attentive, and courteous staff. They were prompt with responding to emails and they were very thorough with the coordination of the events. We highly recommend the amazing duo that is Jennie and Gayle!

If you are getting married in the Central Coast area, I would not look anywhere else for catering. We hired Trumpet Vine for our welcome reception and wedding reception dinner. They are highly responsive and helped us come up with some creative menu ideas. Our two dinners were flawlessly serviced and the presentation of the food was just gorgeous. TV is the way to go! Top Notch!! Gayle and Jennie with Trumpet Vine are spectacular! They are easy to work with and very responsive. Their food is not only amazing and unique, but the presentation is beautiful....the attention to detail and courtesy of the staff were impeccable! We were blown away at the tasting and even more so on the day of the wedding. All our guests were very impressed with the food, the staff and the execution of the entire evening. Trumpet Vine is an A+ caterer and you will not go wrong with them. We had a lovely meet and greet, appetizers passed and stationary and a family style dinner with bar service. They also served the cake/dessert table and champagne toast...additionally they also served the gelato via the gelato cart that they arranged for us!! Again so impressive! The late night snack was great and best of all was the leftovers for lovers...how we appreciated the food they left in our bridal cottage. I highly recommend Trumpet Vine you can't get any better.

Choosing the perfect catering company for our wedding was very important to us and, looking back, Trumpet Vine Catering was one of the best decisions we made in preparation for our special day! Jenny and her amazing team were so diligent in achieving perfection, from the custom made menu (with multiple revisions leading up to the day) to guiding us on rental quantities and necessities. Our venue was unique in that there wasn’t a traditional kitchen for the Trumpet Vine team to prepare and serve from, so we essentially had to create an outdoor kitchen (with all the appliances and resources necessary) that allowed the Trumpet Vine team to execute gourmet tray-passed hors d'oeuvre and consistently keep our multiple food stations full of eats throughout the night!

We just celebrated our one-year anniversary with close friends and family, and I am serious when I say that they were still talking about the food at our wedding! Thank YOU, Trumpet Vine, for making our day so special! Highly, highly recommended!

Trumpet Vine not only did my daughter's wedding but also Sunday brunch. The food was incredible at both events. Guests are still telling us the food was amazing - "best salad I have ever eaten" "the salmon and steak were amazing" and so on! I highly recommend them. I went out on a limb due to scheduling and wasn't able to have a taste test with them prior to our wedding day. I loved my venue and my weekend-of coordinator a lot, but by far the best vendor decision I made was Trumpet Vine Catering. I worked more with this team than any other vendor throughout my entire wedding planning experience. I am a foodie and I wanted my wedding weekend to feel like an extended dinner party with our closest family and friends. I used Trumpet Vine for 3 nights of catering for more than 100 people - the menu was quite different each night and they knocked it out of the park. We were absolutely THRILLED with the entire weekend of delicious food. I admit that my expectations were very high, and despite that, I was VERY happy with the entire experience from beginning to end working with Trumpet Vine. Despite the challenges we faced with rain, then incredibly long speeches post-wedding - every step of the way Gayle, Jennie and their crew made me feel like EVERYTHING was under control. They shifted plans, moved from stationary to passed with no problem and the presentation was absolutely stunning. They even put boxes of leftovers in the fridge for my husband and I at the end of each night... although with our guests staying in the same house as us, they were quickly devoured by people wanting more. The most consistent feedback I got from my guests as the the food was better than most fine dining restaurants. Beyond their delicious food, incredible execution and fabulous presentation, Jennie, Gayle and the team were also incredibly helpful in the planning process. They helped me make decisions within my budget for rentals that made sense and optimized for what mattered most to my husband and I. THANK YOU TRUMPET VINE!

Without a doubt, the best catering team for personal attention, food quality, taste and details. From the moment all four of us walked into the initial tasting, we could tell just how wonderful the wedding menu and service was going to be. We didn’t worry about anything. Throughout the entire process, the personal attention (cross-checking our rentals, discussing proper plate sizes, adding a few additional menu items, compromising on our table locations and dealing with a reception area that was spread out all across the vineyard and boxing up all of the remaining cheese, fruit, desserts and menu items and most importantly checking in at the end of the night to make sure everything was taken care of before they left). Not only am I the mother of the bride, but I’m also a wedding planner in North Carolina. Gayle and her team are simply the BEST and took care of so many details – even ones that other vendors missed. They did whatever I asked and were happy about helping out. I definitely noticed all the small things that I know are extras which they just do because they know what it takes to exceed expectations especially on such a wonderful occasion and be a successful catering company!

They are amazing! Worth every penny! Everyone was raving about the food at our wedding. They made it fun and unique, and every single thing was phenomenal. We are both foodies and wanted to spend our money on the food... We couldn't have chosen a better place to do that with. I don't think I can express how truly amazed I was with Gayle, Jennie, and the entire Trumpetvine team, but I will give it my best shot! First, we selected Trumpetvine because they came highly recommended by every venue we looked at in the Paso Robles area, and after working with them, I can see why. Not only is all their food unbelievably delicious, (I still have friends and family singing their praise) but their hospitality and love for what they do really shines through. Gayle helped me with wedding cake recommendations, setting up my rentals, photographer recommendations....We are not from the Paso Robles area, and I didn't know where to start! Gayle helped me every step of the way and was quick to respond to all my emails and answer all my questions, no matter how minor the question. Before the wedding, during the reception and even after Gayle made sure to check on us, making sure everything was perfect and we never had to ask for anything. Our wedding was about 80 people total and everyone was well taken care of. I'm so happy we picked Trumpetvine! Beyond satisfied!!

Using Trumpet Vine for your wedding is an absolute no brainer! From the menu they custom designed for our fall wedding to the taste of the food, Trumpet Vine was exceptional. As for the service, they went above and beyond every step of the way, delivering results that were unbeatable. Thank you so much for making our wedding spectacular!

We could not have been happier with the quality of food and service that Trumpet Vine provided for our wedding. The food and presentation were terrific and everything was served timely and as expected. We had a few people with food allergies and dietary restrictions and they were all accommodated without any issues.
If we lived closer we would use them for all our events.
My advice would be to hire them and not even think twice about it.

Trumpet Vine Catering is the best around! I was planning my Paso Robles wedding from the Bay Area and Trupmet Vine made it so easy and accommodated my every request (and I had a lot of them)! We decided on a Taco Bar instead of a traditional buffet or plated meal and they totally nailed it! We were so impressed with the food at our tasting and then come the wedding day it was even better! Our family and friends are still talking about the food! From the initial meeting, to the staff, to the set up... I couldn't have ask for anything more! They roll with the punches and will do absolutely anything to make your day special. Don't think twice about booking Trumpet Vine, just do it!! :)

We selected Trumpet Vine as our caterer based on the recommendation from our planner. We didn't want to do the traditional sit down meal, rather something a little more interesting. We were having a smaller wedding (50 people) at a vineyard, and we really wanted to showcase the wine, but also give people a variety of foods to choose from. When we spoke to Trumpet Vine initially, we all came up with the idea of having food stations that would indicate wine or beer pairings. They put together a sample menu for us, and that was pretty much it! We didn't even do a tasting, as we were confident in their abilities based on their reviews and menu selections. Our expectations were FAR exceeded on the day of our wedding. We had passed appetizers, and the trumpet vine staff actually came up to the top of the hill where we were having our photos done to pass around food to our guests. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone raved about the food stations, but I also love the decor. They put so much effort into making the food not only taste good, but LOOK good too. It tied in so well with our setting. They even partnered with our florist to make sure everything went well together. They were a little pricey from our original budget, but you get what you pay for. Worth every penny. I'm still dreaming about some of the food they prepared! You will not find another caterer better than Trumpet Vine for your big day. I only wish I had another event coming up so I could work with them again!

Trumpet Vine impressed us right from the first bite. The care that they put into just the tasting made it clear to us that not only did their team cook great food, but that they would also put everything they had into making our day special. It is a testament to them that we had many of our guests coming up to us and complimenting the food. The Italian themed dishes they served perfectly complimented the scenery at the winery where we got married, and looked great on our long oak feasting tables. Every dish, from the arancini to the seabass to the steak was mouth-wateringly excellent, and we will be dreaming about the bacon wrapped medjool dates for the rest of our lives! In all seriousness, we cannot recommend Trumpet Vine enough.

I don't even know where to start. Gayle and Trumpet Vine Catering were just phenomenal from day 1 until the "big day". Gayle was super responsive and happy to answer any and ALL questions. She also worked with my wedding planner to make sure everything was on point, which made for a very stress-free experience for me :) On the day of my wedding, everything was top-notch. From the beautiful displays, the excellent food, the level of professionalism with the service...I can't say enough good things! We STILL have guests telling us how impressed they were with the food and service! Apparently, it's a rare thing to not only have delicious food at a wedding but also stellar service. One guest was telling me how a server went out of their way to make sure the guest had exactly what they wanted. I love this story. And the day was a blur for me but when I got to see my pictures later I was blown away by how perfect the set-up looked. They really pay attention to detail! Our welcome station and late-night milk and cookie bar were exceptional. Guests just really loved those extra touches.
And at the end of the night we had a HUGE tote bag full of food and cake...it was so much fun going back to the room later with my husband, reminiscing and munching on leftovers :-) The tote bag is super nice, too. It's quality, just like everything else about this caterer.

Everything was absolutely beautiful and everyone (including me and my husband) was raving about the big Italian spread! I knew they were good before I booked them because our neighbor had used them for their wedding up in Paso a few years ago but I still was a little worried about how it would all turn out - cooking for 5 people is much different than cooking for 130 people and my family is so judge-y about food, especially Italian food (since we are Sicilian)...but it was so much more than I could have asked for! Absolutely delicious. My family is still talking about it and I can't even remember how many people came up to us throughout the night to tell us how fantastic the food was (one guest said, "I was totally expecting 'wedding food' and, once I tasted the flatbread outside, I realized I would be chowing down instead of just picking through dinner to get something in my stomach." ;-)) Some people said they were so full just from cocktail hour but they still stuffed their faces with dinner.

And the presentation was phenomenal. Although I completely missed cocktail hour (which I'm still bummed about because I wanted to eat the flatbreads we had decided on!), I saw pictures and wow. It looked so great! And we chose family style service, which was a hit with everyone.

The staff was also incredible. Throughout the process, I wanted to change the sauces on virtually all of our dishes and Gayle was super flexible with all the changes we made to the menu. We had numerous guests tell us that the servers were fantastic - quick, professional, really nice and really on top of it with keeping the food coming.

All in all, we were more than pleased, as was my family and all of our guests. Gayle, the chef and the rest of the Trumpet Vine team were incredible. If I worked in event planning, they would be my go-to every time.

Hands down, Jennie, Gayle, and the entire Trumpet Vine staff provide the best food and service the Central Coast has to offer. Fresh products and attention to detail will leave your guests amazed. Preparation of food and appetizers was exceptional. Presentation was beautiful, especially for cocktail hour. Food was cooked as specified. From beginning to end it was culinary delight. Gayle and the staff at Trumpet Vine were an absolute pleasure to work with. Every single thing that they served was insanely delicious, the servers and bartenders were beyond friendly, and I can't even begin to tell you how many of our guests came up to tell me that it was the best meal (not just wedding food, but food in general) that they had had in a while. It was absolute perfection.

The food at my wedding was incredible thanks to Trumpet Vine Catering. The food, presentation and service was exquisite. We chose food stations and they were a huge hit with our guests and people are still talking about the food almost 9 months later. Trumpet Vine and their staff are the best.

I absolutely LOVED working with Trumpet Vine! From the beginning, we did not consider any other caterer. It was clear that they were up for the job of working to create the vision that we had in mind (even when we requested a most elaborate tasting prior to deposit). All of their staff were professional and easy to work with. They struck a very well balanced approach of making suggestions for our event, telling us what worked for them in the past and what fizzled, and did not insist something be done differently than we wanted (even when we chose a set up or staff design that was different from the recommended). When we requested changes to our contract or suggestions to food options that fit within a specific budget, they immediately downsized and made adjustments that were agreeable to us.We were able to add anything back in (ah! Such was our planning process) with zero hassle.
Communicating with Jennie and Gayle prior to the event was flawless. Our emails were responded to promptly with equally prompt updates to out contract when applicable. Planning a wedding from 400 miles away didn't even affect how smoothly we planned with Trumpet Vine. I felt entirely confident turning over the set up work and rentals to Trumpet Vine. Given our event details, they were able to communicate everything we needed to the rental company and venue for me. I am so thankful for their coordination!
All of the food was delicious and as expected.There was plenty of food for people to feel like they had a full meal. They brought eye catching signage and décor to match our theme / font. Perhaps the most prominent and meaningful aspect of working with Trumpet Vine was the staff. Every person seemed genuinely happy to be there, friendly, relaxed, and attentive to each need. Multiple staff, more than once, were directly attentive to the two of us. I could not recommend Trumpet Vine more; they were outstanding in product, professionalism, staff, presentation, planning, and overall business.

Beyond amazing! I had a day of planner so I did a lot of the work myself but Jennie and Gayle were there to help me if I had any questions. Trumpet Vine catered my rehearsal and my post-wedding cocktail hour. This caterer is unbelievable. I had them give me suggestions and we whittled it down to an incredible menu that pleased the whole crowd for our rehearsal (mac & cheese....nom nom nom!). We had a sit down plated dinner for our wedding reception in May. I can not say enough good things about the whole process from the planning to execution. Perfection. The food was 5 star, and was hot when served even though the venue was in a wonderful rustic barn with limited appliances. We can't say enough great things about Trumpet Vine Catering! Gayle, Jennie and their entire team did a fantastic job of making our wedding. From the initial stages of working with our budget, the style we wanted, and taste testing really proved their passion, dedication and detail. Jennie and Gayle worked wonders with us in creating the perfect food offerings by getting our feedback and tweaking the offerings to ensure we were on the same page. Their communication and responsiveness was quick and welcoming.
When other vendors and people in the area asked who was catering our wedding and we stated Trumpet Vine everyone immediately said "oh they're incredible". That they are. During our wedding day, and being in sensory overload, we made sure to pause and take in how Trumpet Vine presented everything and to taste the delicious offerings. They coordinated the offerings perfectly so that everything flowed along with the wedding.
Highly recommended and we hope we have an opportunity to taste their delicious food again soon.

I can't tell you how much we loved the food that Trumpet Vine did for our cocktail hour and dinner. Not only was it delcious (mini two-bite chicken and waffles, macaroni and cheese balls, chicken cordon blue with fontina and prosciutto!) but they really seemed to care about making our event beautiful. They set up a beautiful welcome station with vintagey items that looked lovely. They printed personalized labels for our guest's farewell donuts. They even packed us a little farewell picnici basket so we could taste all the treats again the next day! I can't recommend them highly enough.

We were so impressed with Trumpet Vine Catering! They made our wedding outstanding! Our first experience was at our tasting with Jennie. She fed us full with delicious dishes that were simple enough for our menu but full of flavor and unique presentation choices. After settling on the menu, I worked with Gayle on the details for service, rentals and decor. Even though Gayle and I never met in person before the event, she as able to grasp our style and fully execute it at the wedding. It wasn't until the reception that we were able to see the way the food was presented and we were so thrilled! Everything from the stationary appetizers, the welcome beverages and the dinner buffet fit in perfectly with the theme and decor of our wedding. Little touches, like tying the napkins with twine, were all attended to and pulled everything together just perfectly. Unlike most Brides and Grooms, we got to sit down and enjoy the meal which was so delicious! The service staff was attentive and friendly! And finally, we were so grateful for the 'leftovers for lovers' basket! A very nice touch! Well done!!

Trumpet Vine absolutely knocked it out of the park for our wedding day. We loved working with Jennie and Gayle on the menu, service logistics, and even rental coordination through All About Events. They make it super easy, so you don't have to think too much about how much flatware or gravy boats to rent. The best part was the creativity that Jennie and the team brought to our offbeat idea of having an elevated, Southern-influenced breakfast supper to acknowledge our roots and family traditions. I was a little timid about approaching catering companies with this idea, but Jennie immediately understood the playful, nostalgic element we were looking for, and she crafted a fabulous menu around it. Our guests raved about the delicious food, and I was legitimately sad that I didn't get to eat more of it on our wedding night. Luckily, we had a great tasting experience with them, and they sent us home with a picnic basket full of all the food to enjoy on our wedding night. Trumpet Vine does an exceptional job of creating lovely food experiences, too, so all their decor and service platters add to the ambiance. I loved their hand-lettered menu boards that helped our guests know what they could choose from at our chicken-and-waffles and dessert stations. We were just stunned by all the perfect little details on top of all the yummy yummy food.

Trumpet Vine Catering was the most professional caterer we encountered during the beginning process which was a big reason why we chose them. However we soon realized how wonderful their staff is, especially Gayle!!! She was over the top incredible! She helped us with so many other things besides our food and she was always so pleasant! Jennie, Gayle, and the Trumpet Vine staff are the consummate professionals. If I sound effusive in my praise in this review, it is because I cannot more highly recommend the services of these wonderful people.

My wife Erin and I were blown away when we contacted TV about catering our outdoor wedding at Flying Caballos Ranch. Jennie took us through a surreal tasting of cheeses, appetizers, and mains that made it incredibly difficult to narrow down choices for a menu but SO easy to know that we were going to love whatever Trumpet Vine put on the table.

Jennie was kind enough to engage my long emails and calls about menu ideas with thoughtful responses and clever dishes. She never once pitched me a boring, boiler plate wedding dish. She also helped us go through endless rounds of revisions as we adapted our menu to a changing budget and a dynamic guest count. Perhaps as valuable as the food was the experience in creating the menu with TV. Both Jennie and Gayle were lightning fast to respond and incredibly reasonable in helping me to meet my budget.

Most importantly, the end product was something to behold. Eight months removed, I'm still salivating for another gazpacho shooter or a chorizo empanada. I cannot begin to say how many guests have reached out to tell me that TV's food was the best wedding meal they had ever experienced. I could not agree more: why go for uninspired country club fare when you can have pan-seared local cod in romesco sauce and a tequila & orange glazed sirloin at the same price?

In a word, you guys are truly incredible. Thank you so, so, so much from the bottom of our hearts!!

Trumpet Vine did an amazing job catering my wedding. Jeannie was my contact and she was very responsive and detail oriented. I particularly liked how they paid attention how the appetizers were displayed and the welcome station. It really added something special. Additionally, they packed up all of our food in a to go picnic basket. We ate it the next night on our honeymoon. I would highly recommend Trumpet Vine for catering. Your event will turn out great!

Trumpet Vine Catering knocked it out of the park for our wedding! From start to finish, everything was very professional and really catered to our needs. When we first met Jennie, she made us feel very comfortable and really pushed to give us food that represented our interests. She designed a menu for us based on the foods we love to eat, not what she thought was fitting. I never thought that a caterer could be so specific and detailed until I met her. The staff was very communicative to our guests and made certain that no stone was left unturned. The food presentation was just as impressive as some of the wedding decor. Weeks later, people are still remembering some of the unique and delicious food that was part of our day. I am so grateful for the time and energy that was invested in our wedding dinner. It was really remarkable! You absolutely set the bar for memorable catering!

Jennie and Gayle were wonderful to work with at Trumpet Vine and the food was amazing! Everything was super fresh, and delicious. Jennie and Gayle helped us design our menu, and we loved their creative inspired ideas. For one of our entrees, they suggested a pulled pork pappardelle which was a huge hit with all of our guests. The appetizers were amazing too -- a delicious arancini, tasty flatbreads and these amazing mushroom pastry puffs. We appreciated their high level of service, and their making sure that we were able to try everything by sending a server our way during post-ceremony photographs. Having really good food was a top priority for us, and we are so glad we chose Trumpet Vine!

I 100% recommend Trumpet Vine!! They did an amazing job displaying the food. I also had passed appitizers, the staff was great and they never ran out of food. The food was so perfect!! Everyone LOVED it as well as my husband and I!! We had chicken and steak and both were tender and juicy. I also like the fact that they pack the couple a picnic basket and have it delivered to your room for the end of the night knowing that they couple doesnt always get to eat. Great people to work with!!

Trumpet Vine catered our wedding last Saturday and they did an amazing job! Not only was their menu creative and locally sourced, the food was amazing! When we went for our first tasting, we were both shocked by how delicious everything was. We worked with two people Gayle and Jennie. Both of them were great to work with. They were willing to make a few minor changes to our menu and they helped coordinate all our rentals for us. When we had questions about alcohol, they sent us a spreadsheet with approximations of what we would need. I HIGHLY recommend Trumpet Vine. It was the best food I've ever had at a wedding! We got numerous compliments from our guests about the food!

I cannot even begin to express how amazing Jennie and her whole team from Trumpet Vine Catering were! We were planning a "destination" wedding in Paso Robles amd were only able to go up there a few times to select our vendors. The moment we found Trumpet Vine and had our tasting with them, we were sold!! We cancelled all our other caterer tastings thay weekend because we knew we had found the one!! I had to coordinate almost everything via phone and email and they captured our vision perfectly! They had me send inspiration photos for the look/decor/font, basically everything and then they made menu boards, floral accents, etc to match perfectly! My guests actually thought we had hand selected each display item, but i had to admit to them it was really all Trumpet Vine! Even now, two months after our wedding, our guests are still raving about the food and i cannot count how mamy times i have had people say it is the "best food we have ever had at a wedding!" My husband and i agree!!! Trumpet Vine even packed us a cute little take/home cooler with all the wedding food! It was an amazing touch, especially since we did not get a chance to eat a lot at the wedding and we have such fun memories of the picnic we had back at our hotel that night :) Everything completely exceeded our expectations! If you are looking for someone to add the most amazing personal touches to your special day I can guarantee you won't be disappointed with Trumpet Vine!!

Whenever we talk to anyone who attended our wedding the first thing they say is how AMAZING the food was! This is great because my husband and I spent the most money in our budget on food and gave it great focus on our wedding day. We wanted stations of food so the guests would have a wide variety of options, but everything was also prepare so it was no more than 2-3 bites so it was really a reception more than a wedding dinner, though everyone ended up stuffed. We had a terrific cheese display with tray-passed appetizers during cocktail hour and offered three desserts as well. Every single item was delicious!

From a coordination and overall vision point of view Jennie Sturgeon and her team at TV were terrific. She was excited about doing a non-traditional wedding meal and gave us so many great items to select from for the big day. We were able to easily accommodate special food needs like vegetarians. Everything looked amazing too - the decor on the tables was fit to our color scheme and was very natural with the wedding setting, exactly according to Jennie's sketches and ideas she sent me.

Little details like the to-go bag of food for the bride and groom at the end of the night were appreciated. And leading up to our wedding it got hot, so TV suggested we swap out a hot soup for a cool one. Attention to detail like that - things the bride doesn't want to think about in the last days leading up to the wedding - is what you pay great vendors for, and you get your money's worth with people like Jennie and her very professional, talented team at TVC. I highly recommend them!

I can sincerely tell you that you need not look further than TrumpetVine for your catering. I did A LOT of research on Central Coast catering for my wedding and for a picnic that we had at a local winery the day after the wedding. I found many more expensive vendors and I found many more offering significantly less. TrumpetVine was the best of both worlds… they offer A LOT of bang for your buck. I came to them with a unique idea and they did not hesitate to try and create it (and nailed it). They went out of their way to add extra decorative touches that were classy, tasteful, and appropriate. (They added these things on their own which I was thrilled with but you may not want that so, just FYI, you should go over these things with them.) The girls there were so easy to work with. They were professional; their contracts were easy to follow; and did I mention yet that their food is fantastic?? IT IS! I ended up selecting Trumpet Vine for both my ceremony and our picnic and they were perfection on both days. This is a very easy five stars to give.

I LOVE TRUMPET VINE CATERING!!! They are WONDERFUL!! My entire experience, from initial contact, to contract drafting, to an in-person tasting, to the wedding, was 100% amazing! They are extremely professional, creative, kind, down to earth, responsive, and accommodating. Their food is absolutely gourmet and delicious, and their presentation is BEAUTIFUL!! They are not "typical" in any way, and they know how to make you feel taken care of. They are not the cheapest, but they are certainly the best deal in town--the experience and presentation you get is MUCH more than what you actually pay for! 100% AWESOME.

Trumpet Vine recently catered my wedding at Holland Ranch in San Luis Obispo. From the appetizers, to the buffet and the midnight snacks for our guests, eveything was delicious! They worked with us to create a really unique menu based on our favorite foods...We chose a comfort food theme, which included mini chicken and waffle bites for appetizers as well as gourmet mac n cheese during dinner! FYI the chicken was the most moist chicken I have ever had! People are still talking abou the food, saying it was the best food they ever ate at a wedding. They also had great platters, cute garnishes and decorated the buffet area with vintage signs and chalkboards-really great presentation!!! They went over and above, and the staff was wonderful on the wedding day as well...very attentive to all of our guests! One of the waiters trekked about a half mile to bring appetizers to our wedding party while we were off taking photos...what a trooper!

We just had Trumpet Vine cater our wedding and people are still raving about our menu and how tasty the food was. My husband and I spent a lot of time seeking out the best caterer for our needs in Paso for our wedding. Without a doubt, Trumpet Vine was the highest recommended caterer in the area and definitely exceeded our expectations. Our initial meeting with Trumpet Vine was off to a slow start because my husband and I knew we wanted to have a different menu/not typical, but didn't know exactly what that was. Jennie sat down with us and came up with a beautiful/interesting/very tasty menu. We ended up going with a mediterranean theme menu with a tapas feel. We started with a beautiful beverage station with sangria, followed by passed apps which people are still craving the bacon wrapped dates, and then our menu was very interesting with empanadas, garlic shrimp and fresh paella. It was honestly perfect. Jennie also paired cheeses, incorporated the vineyards olive oil and even worked with our florist to make sure the presentation was cohesive with the floral vision. I couldn't have asked for more and they were so willing to work with our budget and responded very detailed and in a timely fashion. My favorite part of the evening was our dessert bar- we had individual desserts -churros/chocolate, grilled peaches and gingersnap parfaits! Kuddos to Trumpet Vine for not only having a lovely presentation, excellent service, but delivering quality food for all guests to enjoy. I've found at weddings that's a difficult task when you are accomodating 100+ people...Trumpet Vine nailed it.

Trumpet Vine exceeded our high expectations. The food and service at our wedding was incredible. Our guests raved. I'll be honest, at first I thought the cost of the food was too much, but other vendors in Paso were about the same cost. Trumpet Vine was a better deal for what you pay for. Jennie was a consummate professional in every interaction and email leading up to the wedding. She gave us peace of mind - which was priceless for me in the weeks prior to the wedding. Money well spent!
We had some issues with our reception site, Jennie helped us take care of them. She and her staff were amazing.
If you book Trumpet Vine, you and your guests will not be disappointed.

I had a horrible time lining up a caterer (one told me we were set and then stopped returning my calls, another gave away my date without telling me), so by the time I contacted Trumpet Vine I was feeling a bit desperate. I feel like the stars aligned perfectly, however, because Trumpet Vine was wonderful. They created a gluten-free sit-down dinner for 50 that included a number of vegan options, and even the hardcore New York City foodies said the meal was wonderful. Trumpet Vine's focus on fresh, local ingredients made such a huge difference; we felt like we were eating restaurant-quality food rather than generic mass-produced "wedding food." They were very accommodating of our (unfortunately extensive) food restrictions without making an issue of it.

The service was extremely professional and attentive. The serving staff always made sure that my husband and I had whatever food or wine we wanted, and from what I could see, the service at all our guests' tables went equally smoothly.

They also gave us enough leftovers to get through the first two days of our honeymoon in Big Sur, which was a nice surprise! Nothing like eating bacon-wrapped dates in front of a campfire.

Trumpet Vine Catering was great!! Jenny really worked with us to make the menu reflect our style. The food was absolutely outstanding. I've had numerous people since the wedding comment that it was the best wedding food they've ever eaten. Jenny mentioned that a lot of couples don't get to really eat at their wedding, so she packs up a carepackage for them. I didn't reallize how true that was until our wedding. We couldn't have appreciated our care package more after the wedding when we were both starving in the middle of the night!!

Trumpet Vine Catering is AMAZING! I wish I could give them 1000 stars. My wedding was my first time ever using a caterer and I used them for two events - a rehearsal dessert party and lunch at the wedding reception. I knew right when I called they were going to make my wedding planning easy - they even helped with the wedding day timeline. The food was fantastic, the staff was professional, the presentation of everything was outstanding. They helped turn my simple garden wedding into a very classy event. Natalie is an all-star, she made the day of run ever so smoothly and the wedding planning a breeze! Once I booked Trumpet Vine, everything else fell right into place. Trumpet Vine was such a joy to work with and I couldn't recommend them enough - I will definitely use them again if I need anymore catering. I just wish they would open a restaurant....

I can not rave enough about the food at my recent wedding (5/29/11); the food was sophisticated, delicious, plentiful, and exquisitely presented. Working with Jennie (the owner of Trumpet Vine) was a joy. She is responsive, highly professional, and creative. She had many suggestions that were beyond what we could have imagined and she was able to transform all of our requests into a form far better than we envisioned. Jennie uses a lower server-to-guest ratio (higher number of servers) than any of the other caterers we interviewed, so all aspects of food service at the wedding were extremely well staffed. Both during and after the wedding many of our guests pulled me aside and RAVED about the food. A number commented that they had never had such sophisticated food at a wedding. In sum, there are not enough wonderful things I can say about Trumpet Vine. This was the single best decision we made planning our wedding. You will be SO HAPPY with the food at your event if you go with Trumpet Vine.

I am one of those brides who reads EVERY revew and did her homework on every vendor for my wedding. My vision was classy and tastefu, but at the same time comfortablel and wanted the same to be said for the food. I knew that Trumpet Vine had a great reputation, but was worried that it was just out of reach budget wise. Jennie worked with us to create a menu that not only matched our budget really conveyed the comfortable atmosphere we hoped to create. They served the food family style, which the guests loved the interaction. The food was AMAZING, from presentation to flavor, Jennie did not miss a beat! She helped me surprise my new husband with ice cream sundaes and everything went off perfectly. It was the best meal hands down that I have ever had!

We LOVED Trumpet Vine catering! Not only was the food absolutely fabulous, but the staff is so professional and amazing! All of my guests commented on the catering, saying it was some of the best food they have had at a wedding. It was so nice to know that set-up and clean-up would be taken care of, and that I would not have to do anything.

Also, it was so nice to have a to-go leftover bag for my husband and I! After the wedding festivities ended, and we headed to the hotel, we realized how hungry we were after all of the dancing. What a great treat it was to have all of this food to snack on! It was just what we needed!

Trumpet Vine catering was absolutely fantastic. They came highly recommended from Kim over at the beautiful Hammersky Vineyard, where we were fortunate enough to get married. We are so happy we chose Trumpet Vine to cater our wedding.

The food was incredible and just what we wanted. I had an idea going in what style of food we wanted but wasn't exactly sure. Jennie did an incredible job suggesting dishes in order for get the perfect combination. She was incredibly accommodating and wanted to make sure we not only liked but LOVED our menu. she was patient with us as we changed menu items etc. The end result was more than we could have ever dreamed. It was honestly one of my most favorite meals i've ever had...and when do you ever get to say that at a wedding. We Our guests have told us on several occasions how wonderful the food was.

The yummy picnic basket of food they leave at the end was the icing on the cake. We were exhausted and hungry later that night and the next day. So being able to have a few more delicious meals without cooking put the biggest smiles on our faces.

We are truly grateful for you Jennie and everyone at Trumpet Vine catering for being a huge part in making our day so incredible! Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Jennie is my hero. We had such an unusual situation where we were at a friends place with no facilities contact and no set up for catering and Jennie just rolled with the punches. I always felt confident in her abilities and it allowed me not to worry about anything. She didn't just throw money at a problem, but instead gave alternate ideas and suggestions. She is perfection! Day of Natalie was our 'go to' gal and she just knocked it out of the park. If there was a problem, I didn't know about it because she just took care of it. I would HIGHLY recommend Trumpet Vine for any event - constant professionals, they were excited with us and for us and were real problem solvers. Oh, the food....to die for. Jennie helped us plan our event to be truly memorable. We wanted a custom menu to highlight the seasonal produce of the Salinas Valley and also focus on more vegetarian fare. Trumpet Vine was very excited about helping us bring our vision to life. One of the only meat options we served was a lamb lolipop appetizer and several of our guests said they wanted it to be their "last meal" and that it was the best lamb they had ever eaten. Jennie and her team were extremely professional throughout our entire event. Her staff were friendly and helpful and made all our guests feel like they were at a five star resort. We had our wedding on a family ranch, and Jennie was enthusiastic about the venue rather than being put off by the potential challenges of the outdoor, rustic setting. I really can't recommend Trumpet Vine highly enough. My guests are still emailing me asking for recipes, so I hope that I can get a hold of some of them!

The New York style pizza served as the late night snack was to die for! The take home sweets (doughnuts & chocolate milk) hit the perfect sweet spot after a night of celebration. The lovers picnic basket sent with my husband & I was the icing on the cake - we were able to enjoy (all over again!) a sampling of all of the wonderful delights that Jennie created just for us on our wedding day!

Jennie & the staff at Trumpet Vine Catering went above & beyond to make our wedding day beautiful. They put so much effort into what they do- from the planning & conversations we had before the wedding to the execution on our wedding day. I know we most certainly couldn't have pulled thing off without them! I would recommend them 100% and want to say Thank You to them for everything they did to make our day special.

The Trumpet Vine Catering Team was great to work with and the food was remarkable. We still hear comments about how well prepared the food, for the beef filets and chicken were so tender. Another huge hit for the guests wasthe cheese and olive oil tasting stations. Trumpet Vine was recommended to us and after meeting Jennie at the tasting and seeing all the details they have on the food presentation we knew they were a fit. If we have any need for a caterer in the future, there will be no question that we will go to them again.

Jenny and her staff were amazing! We got married on 10/03/09 at Vina Robles Winery in Paso Robles. I could not ask for more. The whole staff was very accomodating and made every effort to meet our needs. Jennie was great to work with and was up for any challenge. Thanks again for making our day go smoothly and beautiful! The food was a BIG hit with everyone.

Jennie at Trumpet Vine did a spectacular job with our pre-wedding appetizers and refreshments. The presentation and service was remarkable, and the food delicious.
We had a number of changes at the last minute to our catering needs, and Jennie dealt with all of these with style. They do an amazing job!

Jennie provided inspiration, fun ideas, the food presentation was fantastic, our guests raved about the quality and taste of all the food items.
