  Perfect wedding DJ!!

  Michael was our DJ and he was amazing! He knew exactly how to read the room, host, and play the best music for our audience. He was great and we would 100% recommend him or anyone in his company to DJ your wedding!

  Michael Roos from #TrueDJsofDallas did a great job at our wedding! We Zoomed with him in advance to discuss thoughts on timeline and songs. It was an interactive, candid discussion and he provided his perspective on what he thought would work vs. could be adjusted with our plan. It was really helpful to be able to here his firsthand experience.
  
  He kept the party going and it felt like the energy continued to rise throughout the evening with some big dance floor moments. We got a ton of compliments – and we also appreciated he played many of our recommendations too!

  Top notch communication and extremely helpful

  Michael Roos DJ'd our wedding in early December 2021 and he did an amazing job. Extremely professional and our wedding may not have gone over so smoothly without him.
  
  Our first meeting with Roos was about the timeline for the wedding, the venue and what we may need from him. He stayed in touch throughout the months leading up to the wedding and checked in to make sure we were adding the songs to a special website he uses to make sure everything is organized for the big day.
  
  When it came time for the big day itself, he showed up early and was able to get everything set up on his own. We had an outdoor wedding with an indoor reception. He made sure all of the audio was hooked up in the right places and our guests could hear all of the music for the ceremony as well as making sure our officiant had a good mic to be heard.
  
  For the reception, he made sure that we were all in the right place at the right time. He wasn't just doing his job as a dj to make sure all of the music we wanted was played. He checked in on us multiple times, making sure we knew that we had 10 min before the bouquet toss, 15 min before the cake cutting, an hour before the final send-off. His communication throughout prep in the months before and the night of was amazing and just what we needed to have a special night.
  
  If you are looking for a well organized dj that will play all of the music you want with great audio and displays great communication with you throughout the entire process, Roos is your guy. Big thanks to him for making sure our night was one we wouldn't forget! #TrueDJsofDallas

  True DJs of Dallas - you will not regret hiring them

  My wife and I hired True DJs of Dallas for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with that decision. Michael Roos, the owner, was always quick to communicate and had great ideas on how to make our big day even better. He was extremely organized and had everything broken down by the minute which really took a lot of stress off our shoulders.
  
  The DJ that came out, Kaivan Bazleh (KB), was AWESOME. We really can't say enough great things about what a fantastic job he did. KB was always quick to respond, make suggestions, play requests, etc. He kept the atmosphere fun and upbeat the entire time; so much so that some people wanted to open the dance floor early. We had numerous guests tell us afterwards about how much they loved the DJ.
  
  We really can't recommend this company enough!

  My wife and I hired True DJs of Dallas for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with that decision.   Great DJ Highly Recommend

  We were recommended Michael Roos by two other couples whose weddings he DJed and it was a great recommendation. Michael absolutely understood the vibe we wanted at our wedding and kept everyone dancing all night. He was also great at working with our wedding planner and keeping the night going.   Best decision ever

  We originally were thinking like a half hearted thought about a DJ - I read several reviews about other DJ's and wasn't impressed I stumbled across Michael Roos name in another review and started digging in.. it was the best decision we made to hire Michael Roos for our wedding. we had a quiet crowd but everyone loved the music and it was so easy it was one thing in the wedding that i felt i didn't have to consistently monitor because Michael is so competent and communicative. it was AWESOME! So - if for any reason you are thinking about hiring Michael go ahead and do it - you will be so happy you did.

  Perfect DJ for Special Event

  As always, Michael has come through for me. I recently coordinated a Celebration of Life for a very good friend that recently died of breast cancer. Initially, the family wasn't keen on hiring a DJ for the event. But, after much convincing, they finally allowed me to do so, but it was at the very last minute. Michael worked it out for me and sent Nick who turned out to be perfect for this particular style of event. Ultimately, Michael and Nick were critical in helping make this event successful. My friend's family and I sincerely thank you!

  Michael Roos from True DJs of Dallas was AWESOME!!

  We used Michael Roos from True DJs of Dallas for our wedding. He was fantastic! From the start he was super professional and personable. He helped us plan our timeline of the entire wedding, and gave us fantastic ideas on how to maximize the flow of the wedding reception. He gave us ideas that we did not think or know to ask, even ideas our wedding planner did not bring up. Some of his ideas included the best way to time when to give the speeches, as well as the wording used to ask our parents for their first dance! This was all info that was separate from his true position of being our DJ! He was truly the best MC.
  
  He has a website that makes adding music and preferences super easy. His music choice was spot ON!

  Simply Amazing!

He really listened to what we wanted and what was important to us. Our families don’t “party” and he still got us on the dance floor! The music and timings were great and he kept the party alive until the tornado warning came through. He quickly sped along so we could get our honeymoon dance and make a fake exit for pics before everyone left. Both Michael and Jeremy were very responsive with texts and emails and even FaceTimed us several tomes before the event to calm my worries. Thanks guys!! #truedjsofdallas really rocked our night!

  Spot on experience!

  Michael and his team of other DJ's are top notch! Seriously. Very detail oriented and focused on getting things organized so things can run very smoothly. Michael wasn't able to DJ our wedding, but he had Nick do the event for us and really can't commend them enough! Everyone kept raving about Nick. We only talked with Michael prior to the event, but just with talking and coordinating with him; we were more than sure that Nick would be able to handle things perfectly fine and he exceeded our expectations.

  Five Stars!!

  Michael was absolutely incredible on our wedding day. He is the best DJ. Even before booking him he spent over an hour on zoom call talking about what we wanted in a wedding and if he would be the right fit. He discusses so many things that you can forget when it comes to timeline. He created us a timeline and he was almost like a planner. He looks out for your best interest and always makes sure the bride and groom are the center of attention. He knows how to get and keep a party going no matter the age range. Before our wedding we had 2 zoom calls to discuss details before the big day. Also a few months before the wedding he drove over 2 hours to come look at our venue layout. If you are looking for a DJ, this is him! My most favorite thing about him is puts all of his time and effort into your wedding to make it perfect. It was so great to have him with us for our big day! 🤩

  Amazing DJ and MC!

  Michael is an amazing DJ for special events! My wife and I learned about him and True DJ’s of Dallas through family and knew he was extremely professional and experienced from the start. He was an excellent MC and host for our wedding at the Perot Museum in Dallas.
  
  Michael made it dead simple to plan music for the evening. We gave him our Spotify playlists and a few special songs for specific points in the evening, and he handled the rest. He edited a few songs ahead of time and lined everything up seamlessly during the ceremony and reception. We didn’t stop hearing from friends and family for weeks after the wedding how impressed everybody was with the music and atmosphere. We highly recommend Michael and True DJ’s of Dallas for any special occasion!

  The Best Decision

  Michael is the dream DJ that every wedding should have. He is unbelievably detailed and organized and has such a great personality. He truly listed to our needs and wants for our big day and he executed it perfectly. He catered the music to reflect us and did such an amazing job. I got married 8 months ago and still have people who attended the wedding, complimenting the DJ that we had. Overall, phenomenal decision to pick True DJ's of Dallas

  When Michael discovered that I was a Caribbean girl he played me a sample and I immediately went back to my parents 90’s reggae and dancehall parties. We knew he had to play at our wedding. Michael was the talk of the night during our reception. My Jamaican family was on the dance floor all night. He knew when to turn it up and dialed it back for more intimate moments. He makes playing favorites tunes during special times super easy using the client portal. Michael didn’t miss a beat, no pun intended. He was pleasant, funny, entertaining and kept the flow of the party going. Do not hesitate to have have him mix it up at your next event. Your guest will be in for real treat.

We were able to schedule a consultation with him at his studio (pre-covid) to discuss what he had to offer before booking. Michael wasn't "gimmicky", he was straight-forward with his recommendations, explained why he recommended them and promised to not play all of the cliche wedding songs (but would if we really wanted them)- exactly what we were looking for! He stayed in frequent contact before the wedding and we had FaceTime meetings to hash out all of the details. He asked for our Spotify playlists to be able to understand our taste in music and provided a music database for us to search and customize must-have songs for our ceremony and reception. There was contact between him and our wedding planner about the wedding timeline and he was very hands-on throughout the whole day. He arrived early with all of his equipment ready to go and jumped right in to meet all our other vendors.   Michael just made the whole experience very enjoyable, such a breeze, and an overall pleasant experience! We could not have been happier!! Even with having to reschedule due to these crazy times, he made is so easy to do with no complications or problems at all. We highly recommend him!!

  My husband and I were referred to Michael by one of my recently married coworkers, and we are beyond thankful for the recommendation. Music has always been central to our relationship, so we knew it had to be extra special on our wedding day. Within minutes of meeting Michael, we knew we were in great, supremely talented hands. Not only is Michael the consummate professional, he’s also a genuinely wonderful person. His passion for music and bringing people together emanates throughout the room with ease. Not only did Michael navigate the stressors of COVID with ease, he also helped us build our music profile and reception timeline, which was a huge weight off our shoulders. He checked in with us often to make sure we were doing ok, assuring us that our event would be unforgettable. When our big day finally arrived, there wasn’t a single slow spot to the evening! We fully trusted Michael to run the reception while we relaxed and had a great time. It was the most perfect night and we would choose Michael and True DJs of Dallas over and over again!

  Amazing!!!!!

  Fantastic. Michael was the best DJ ever at our wedding. He met with us well in advance and was there for us the whole way through. He has an amazing talent for blending the music together and keeping the dancers on the floor! He was also an amazing MC. Highly talented and professional. Such a cool person too.   Best Wedding Decision!

  I found about True Djs of Dallas through a co-worker, and using them was some of the best advice I followed when planning our wedding. Michael took the time to sit down with my wife and I and get to know us which made our experience so much more personable. They have a super organized process which was very helpful in creating our timeline which made the wedding flow smoothly throughout the night. We had several meetings throughout the planning process to ensure the night went exactly how we wanted it. They have so much experience with weddings, and other events; I would recommend following their advice as they know what they are doing! They could answer any questions we had. Plus, Michael was super cool with working with our coordinator to make sure everyone was on the same page. The most important part of the DJs job, the music, was flawless. He didn’t sit there with an iPod, playing boring and basic music, but was an entertainer for us! True Djs of Dallas want to know your music taste, they do the rest and the result is fantastic. Lastly, they didn’t kill us on price. Michael didn’t recommend anything we didn’t need, and it ended up being the best money spent for our wedding. I would recommend #truedjsofdallas to anyone for any event.

  True DJs of Dallas was 100% the right choice for us!! Michael was super professional and fun to work with, and we also found out we have a lot of friends in common! The music was exactly what we wanted, and he was amazing about helping us keep everything moving and COVID safe.

  For a Great Time Call These Guys!

  Before meeting with Michael of True DJs of Dallas we had met with a few different DJs but didn't really feel like any of them got our theme wedding. You know that feeling when people are nodding and smiling but their eyes are kinda glazed over? Yeah, that feeling.
  Not so with Michael! From the moment we walked up to his door he greeted us with a hug and welcomed us into his studio. When we told him about our theme wedding he was super excited and wanted to help us out as much as possible, even as much as sending us a list of vendors for other things that he knew would be a good fit for what we were looking for. He was so excited he built us out a custom package and even decided he wanted to officiate for us (if we wanted him to, which we absolutely did)!
  The day of the wedding everything ran as smoothly as could be. Outside was a little windy but he just went off mic and used his theater voice to be heard, and everyone said they had no trouble with hearing him. He thought the script we wrote for the ceremony was hilarious, and even loved our music choices. He checked in with us throughout the evening and played such a wide variety of music that our small group definitely were hyped to dance. He was incredibly professional, and was a joy to work with. I would definitely recommend him for any wedding or event you need a DJ for!

  Awesome DJ

  Wow! From start to finish my bride and I couldn't of been happier with Michael Roos and True DJs of Dallas. Everything from the original meeting with him, to the planning of almost song by song of what my wife and I wanted played at the wedding was on point. The things we were seeking in our music selections combined with the thoughts and opinions Michael had made everything go very easy. He had the music timeline of everything that was happening during the wedding and basically could of acted as our wedding coordinator if we needed him to be.
  We had to have quite the variety in music due to our guest list count to try to please everybody and in our opinion there is no one out there that could of done a better job for what we were asking of him. Everything from country, Texas country, hip-hop, rap, rock n' roll, alternative, classic rock, and a heavy dose of Latin music because my wife's family is Hispanic. I never once saw the dance floor empty or even close to it, Michael kept the music pumping and the party going all night. We only regret not being able to dance more or longer into the night. If you're looking for a DJ, I'd absolutely recommend Michael and True DJs of Dallas. Thanks again Michael!
