When you’re a little girl you begin to think of what your wedding day will be like, how magical it’ll look, and of course your dream dress- Almarie WAS THE BEST…when I say the BEST, I mean the absolute BEST! I met her in person last year when I went to Jamaica for my baby moon, I explained all the things in GREAT detail that I wanted and she was so patient with me and so kind through the entire meeting. I left feeling at ease knowing I could trust her to execute my vision for the wedding. Throughout the year we were in constant communication- everything I wanted I was told to simply show an example of what I wanted and she executed it PERFECTLY. I am a person who is not easily pleased- I am VERY particular and very specific about everything I want and she understood that immediately and completely worked with my husband and I to get everything we wanted. We chose the Ultimate Soirée Package and did not regret that decision at all-with 120 guests we knew this would be the best option….the food was DELICIOUS!, the decor was amazing it looked so luxurious and high end (just as I wanted) the entertainment was EVERYTHING! We had a fire show as the finale and it blew everyone away! How exciting and unique( I personally haven’t seen that at any wedding I’ve attended) I told Almarie I don’t want my guests hot and uncomfortable since we are outdoors and she managed to get us cooling units for the tent. We come from a family that likes to dance and party the best way we know how and that was EXACTLY what we did! The photography and videography team completely blew our minds! All of the vendors used for my wedding were complete perfection! Not only did Almarie plan/coordinate the wedding she helped the guests book their stay at the resort and helped us to book excursions to have fun and helped coordinate our all white welcome party! I had a lot of last minute additions and she never was annoyed with me, she listened and made it all happen…I always say we have become best of friends through this journey . She allowed for us to literally have the wedding of our dreams and I’m forever grateful- my guests are saying this is the best wedding they have ever attended in their lives…to have a destination wedding in a location that is so far from you can be scary because you have to put your complete faith and trust in your planner, I had to trust the process and Almarie did such an amazing job! To all future brides and grooms YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG BOOKING WITH TROPICAL WEDDINGS JAMAICA- Almarie and her team are the best, there’s no other way to express it- she is the best, they are the best- and when we renew our vows in 10 years we WILL be using Almarie again! We first briefly met with the Tropical Wedding Planner team about ten months before our wedding day. I must admit, I was a little apprehensive. I had seen their work online and wondered if what they portrayed could truly be as beautiful and flawless in reality. (And I must add… pleasing a Jamaican is not always the easiest task!)
However, after our second consultation, I immediately felt at ease. There was a calm and reassuring energy about the team. They listened intentionally to our vision, offered practical advice, and guided us through the process in a way that made navigating such an important and sometimes stressful occasion feel much easier.
Then came February 15th, 2026 — our wedding day. As we arrived on-site, we were completely in awe. A once ordinary garden had been transformed into a breathtaking setting that captivated our eyes and stirred every emotion. We could immediately see the level of care, creativity, and precision that had gone into bringing our vision to life.
Throughout our meetings, I unapologetically expressed my love for flawlessness, and Tropical Wedding Planner truly delivered. The décor was exceptional — elegant, unique, and thoughtfully designed. It reflected who we are as a couple and showcased our individuality beautifully.
Our guests were equally amazed and fully immersed in the experience. The cocktail hour was a highlight, with guests returning for seconds (and more!) while enjoying the incredible atmosphere and musical selections. The food was absolutely sumptuous — it truly did what it needed to do! The entire mood was filled with warmth, the setting was inviting, and the DJ knew exactly how to entertain and energise the crowd. He had everyone on their feet!
We are genuinely grateful that we chose Tropical Wedding Planner to coordinate our special day. They assembled an outstanding team who worked together seamlessly to turn our dream into a phenomenal reality.
Our photographer and videographer truly lived up to being “too cool” — and for good reason. They made us feel like absolute VIPs and captured the essence of our day beautifully.
From start to finish, it was a seamless production. A day we will forever cherish.

Almarie and her amazing team came through! The day was executed in a very organized and classy way. Her attention to detail paired exceptional well with mine and she listened to us and the vibe we were trying to create. She was patient with us, We never once felt rushed by her. My husband and I got married in Montego Bay, and we spent almost a full year planning our destination wedding with Tropical Weddings Jamaica. Planning a wedding for over 60 guests from afar felt daunting at first, but our package offered incredible flexibility and made budgeting clear and manageable from the start.
Phenicia and Almarie were truly wonderful to work with—always responsive, patient, and accommodating to our needs and questions throughout the process. When Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica just two months before our wedding, we were understandably anxious about what would happen. Tropical Weddings handled everything with professionalism and resilience, reassuring us every step of the way and ultimately bringing our vision to life beautifully.
The entire experience was seamless, and our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more. We are extremely grateful to the Tropical Weddings team and highly recommend them to any couple considering a destination wedding in Jamaica. -

Tropical Weddings is hands down the place to go for those looking to have a destination wedding! Customer service was top tier, their line of communication throughout the process was exceptional, and last but not least the finishing product.
As a first time bride My vision became reality, which was a huge plus. All wedding packages are reasonably priced, and there are wedding packages to fit every brides dreams.
I definitely won’t be having another wedding lol, but I would sure book with Tropical Weddings again for other events! -

Best Decision EVER!
Almarie and her team did an amazing job! She helped our vision come to life. The food, decor, venue (huge shout out to Borghinvilla) and overall service was exceptional. Our family said this was THE BEST wedding they have attended. Additionally, Almarie’s relationship with our photographer, videographer, and makeup artist (Bride and Beauty Limited) made day of preparation seamless and all services exceeded expectations.
Tropical Weddings Jamaica made May 25, 2025, was the most magical day. The lantern tribute Almarie provided for our deceased mothers will forever be ingrained in our hearts.

We went with the beach wedding and it was jusf perfect. Location, decorations was lovely.

Tropical Weddings Jamaica was AMAZING! I originally planned to do fake flowers for my wedding and bring my own decor, but I decided I didn't want to travel with anything and truly wanted to just enjoy my wedding season and not worry about DIY'ing / lugging decor with me. I reached out to several vendors, many who were pushy and did not honor my budget despite me continuously stating it. However, from the very first email sent and all the way up until the day of the wedding, TWJ has been SO accommodating and truly went above and beyond to work with me to make my day perfect. When wedding day finally came, I was handed the most BEAUTIFUL tropical bouquet that I had ever seen in my life (maybe I'm biased, but I promise I received dozens and dozens of compliments on it from near and far). My bridesmaids bouquets, flower girl headband, boutonnières, corsages, wedding arch, centerpieces, and welcome sign for the wedding were all just as beautiful! I could not recommend this company enough! They are responsive, organized, incredibly kind, budget-friendly, and they create BEAUTIFUL work! -

This is brief, but Almarie was amazing, from start to finish. The vision I had I wasn’t sure she could pull off as it definitely felt like a genre that she hadn’t advertised aesthetically but she blew it out of the water. The vision, food, DJ, everything. My day felt unrushed, relaxed and I was able to just bask in the moment. I did not use her photography and videography as I hired my own BUT she then gifted me a livestream of the ceremony and reception. I couldn’t rave and rant about her enough. i worried about it being generic and it was anything but and also very budget friendly. -

I was referred to this company by someone who knew I was under a lot of stress trying to plan our destination wedding. After cancelling the original plans, I was in need of a new venue, new planner, new everything! After one phone call with Tropical Weddings, I was immediately relieved. They found the perfect venue for the day I had originally planned, they responded to every single email swiftly, every detail I uploaded on my portal, from the reception decor, ceremony decor, special requests, the floral arrangements, the cake, the music, the food, down the last table and silverware! They got every detail right! Exactly how I described! This was the biggest shock for me because we never did any of the planning face to face. It was all done virtually, through the portal, email and phone calls! None of my wedding guests had any complaints. Transportation was seamless during pick up and drop off.
Communication was flawless, professionalism was top tier! If you’re on the fence about whether or not you should do a destination wedding, I’d say with Tropical Weddings Jamaica, you’d have nothing to worry about. They have mastered how to create a magical wedding experience. -

Had the most amazing special day thanks to tropical weddings Jamaica. The day was perfect from start to finish. Always responded to emails quickly and were always very helpful and professional.
Our holiday got cancelled the day before we were due to fly out from Manchester. I was devastated as the next available flight wasn't until 4 weeks later, meaning we would miss our planned wedding day. I emailed explaining the situation. They replied within the hour saying don't worry just tell us when your coming and we'll sort it. -

From the beginning to the end, Almarie Walters and her terrific team at Tropical Weddings Jamaica have been truly amazing. As a couple we're very particular about the details of everything we do, and to have a planning team that is beyond capable of executing our ideas and desires was indeed remarkable.
Destination weddings could be technical and hectic if not aligned with the right team, and we're grateful that Tropical Weddings Jamaica was the one for us. There's a portal system which we loved, where the couples' ideas are shared to the specifics and the team brings it into reality. The varying services: from a picturesque location to the food to DJ to the decor even to the creative elements of your ceremony would be implemented in such a way that would blow your mind when it all comes together on your special day.
We had one of the largest groups at our destination wedding and everyone cannot stop complimenting us on how beautiful & organized our wedding was. We simply owe it all to Almarie and her Team!

What a supper day I had with an amazing photographer, Otis and his team was professional from the start to the end. Once we started I felt in safe hands, he took control and my day blossomed. Everything he told me to do, I did and boy, was my photos amazing, he took control and knew exactly what he was doing. He has 23+yrs in the business and it certainly shows, the pictures speak for themselves. wasn't long before everything was ready for me to review, so much to choose from, it was hard to make a decision. Otis was more than a photographer he had jokes and interacted with the wedding party and made everyone smile. Beautifully put together, highly recommended he will not disappoint. Magical Memories Wedding
My now husband and I hired Almarie and the team at Tropical Weddings Jamaica to coordinate our destination wedding. What we didn't expect was how far above and beyond our expectations everything went. We started planning a year in advance and Almarie made the process so seamless and easy to understand. The system she uses before hand, the time and understanding she puts into understanding our vision and coordinating everything the day of made this truly a day we both can remember because we didn't have to stress about anything. To the extent of accommodating our late addition baby gender reveal in our wedding cake! I want to thank Almarie for such an amazing job on our wedding. Words can't express how beautiful our day was. The flowers, decorations, food, cake and let's not talk about the gorgeous venue was all amazing! I was undecided on where I wanted my wedding and Almarie helped me narrow down and we chose Laughing Waters in Ocho Rios and this was a great choice. The venue was breathtaking! Having a destination wedding can be scary because you're not really in control, but I'm happy I found Tropical Wedding. They did not dissapoint. Almarie also worked with me as well when a few obstacles surfaced but she assured all would be okay.
I added on last minute a videographer and an MC and she knew exactly the right people. Too Cool photography and videographer was exceptional.
Otis and his team did not come to play. That were amazing! Our MC, Dorien had everyone laughing and enjoying ourselves.
Every color, inspiration designs and cake decor I sent to Almarie, her team executed it to the fullest.

This review is LONG overdue. Almarie and her team are truly a gem. We were married 12/11/21 and began our planning during the height of covid. Nonetheless, Almarie was able to organize a site visit to our venue and stayed in contact with us while planning from
overseas. She was open to my ideas and even made suggestions to enhance the vision. On our day, she did her best to ensure everything ran timely and without hiccup. It rained all weekend, but our day was full of sunshine and good vibes. The food was great, the music was good, and if anything did go wrong we surely did not know about it. Exactly how it should be when a professional is handling your day. I left my broom at the venue and she drove to get it and bring it to our hotel the next day. Even months after the wedding when I had questions she was quick to respond and follow up on any concerns. Almarie and her team is absolute incredible. She was recommended by a friend and she made her wedding beyond what we can imagine. We first planned our wedding with Almarie over a year in advance, sending pictures of what we wanted and she nailed it the day of. We didn't even have to discuss much of the decor or wedding details the year of the wedding. From the decor, the food, music and venue, our family and friends won't stop talking about how amazing it was. During the day of the wedding, all we did was show up. There wasn't any stressed involved. The major thing is our original wedding of 80 guests ballooned to 180 guests the month before wedding day. Almarie and her team were still able to accommodate and roll with the changes especially with 150 of our guests flying in from abroad.
