Amazing Wedding Photos!

Working with Tricia was a pleasure for my August 13th 2021 wedding! She was very responsive to any questions I had and on the day of the wedding she was prompt and ready to go. She made me and my husband feel comfortable posing for photos without it feeling too staged. We loved how natural the pictures turned out. We are in love with our wedding photos and are receiving compliments from friends and family about how good they are. We highly recommend Tricia to anyone looking for an extremely talented wedding photographer!

Made Our Wedding Day Phenomenal (dont look anywhere else)

First off, I never write reviews, but I had to write one for this photographer and her second shooter. No need to look at any other photographers out there, if youre on long island, this is your best bet. Reasonable prices. Our wedding was 11/11/18, post wedding, completely unsolicited review.
The 4 Best points of the day:
1) Trisha and her second shooter Connie, were absolutely flexible, professional and unphased by some morning delays. Plans changed on the fly, and they were SO reassuring and helpful. They worked extremely hard to de-stress all of us, and ended up getting a ton of great pictures. The rest of the event went well after some morning issues regarding make-up and bridal hair prep not being done on time.
2) When we were on the dance floor they werent in the way. Just present (having a fun time) not intrusively in the way like you've seen some photographers/videographers. They were just this fun energy, sometimes dancing, laughing, joking... they looked like they were having a good time shooting and enjoying the wedding! At the end of the night, we couldnt think of any time where they intruded on the moment. Just took in everything through their cameras. It was really remarkable.
3) Preliminary photos we saw were outrageously good. We got a bunch of teasers back, and they made us look great!
4) Energy was positive and fun. Never pushy, very kind and directive in the way they wanted you to pose to get your best angles. Constantly adjusting clothing and making sure everything in the shot was perfect.

Would give 10/10, enthusiastically recommend!!!!!!!!!!!

Love her!!!!

Working with Tricia and her team was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning Tricia was easy to contact, talk to and always made us feel extremely comfortable. Her sweet personality is great, but her pictures and professionalism is what makes having her as your photographer even better. Her style is just what we were looking for and she had both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures back to us in ONE WEEK! I would highly suggest Tricia to anyone who wants beautiful pictures, a professional (and fun) team, and lasting memories.

Tricia is the absolute best

I don’t even know where to begin with Tricia, she is beyond amazing, not only did she answer every one of my anxious/stressed emails with lightening speed, our pictures (which also came back in lightening speed) were perfect. I think the easiest way to sum it up is that at the end of our wedding, my now husband, who HATES having his photo taken, commented how amazing Tricia and her second photographer, Connie, were, and how he was not irritated at all by the photo taking process - especially because while we knew they were there, they were not “in your face.” Tricia and Connie were so fun to work with, the photos came out more perfect than I could have ever imagined, and the process was beyond smooth. Having been at other weddings where the photographers force stuffy type photos, where no one looks comfortable, or someone is standing awkwardly, and can be a little too formal, this was a welcome relief! Our faces hurt from the natural smiles, not the awkward forced ones. I would highly recommend Tricia if you are seeking a friendly, loving, obviously passionate, talented photographer, who is going to get the most perfect shot, even if it means climbing up a rickety ladder, and will make you laugh and feel super comfortable along the way.

Tricia and Scott captured our day perfectly and were the kindest and easiest photographers you will ever work with. I’m somewhat nervous in front of the camera and Tricia put me completely at ease. My photos reflect how wonderful this day was and I can’t say enough great things about her!

From the moment we sat down with Tricia, we had already made up our minds. She is kind, very relatable and extremely talented. Our engagement shoot was amazing and our wedding photography was even better. Tricia went above and beyond to get the most perfect shots in 96 degree weather! Even though we were all melting, Tricia and her amazing assistant Jessica never complained and made the whole photo experience so much fun. Not only was she a blast to work with, but we received edited teaser photos the very next day! From now on Tricia LaPonte Photography will be our go to for photos and she should be your too!!

Tricia photographed my wedding on May 25, 2018 and she was prompt, efficient, creative, and reliable. She has a truly artistic view and uniquely captures the most special moments of your big day. I was so happy with the quality of every shot, as well as the variety and quantity of photos she took. Her assistant, Scott, worked naturally alongside her and also had a talented eye for capturing the day. I highly recommend Tricia because not only is she talented but she is a pleasure to work with - very quick to respond, helpful in directing you in making decisions, and just enjoyable to be around!!

This amazing lady kinda fell into my lap while look for a photographer to capture a “one in a lifetime” moment! One day she posted on Facebook “If I've photographed you post which picture you like most and why!!” As I look through my pictures at all the amazing moments she captured theres not one or two pictures I want to share. Instead there are five, ten even fifteen that truly have love written on them. She has an amazing talent! When I look at these photos I see love, laughter and happiness! I can’t wait for Tricia to continue to capture all of our special moments.

Tricia laponte’s wedding photos are unbelieveably amazing! My husband and i look at our photos about once a month and have been married for a year and a half. We have a baby now and cannot wait to show her our wedding day through the photos and memories she captured! I would use her over and over again

You need to book Tricia as your photographer.

Tricia and her assisting photographer were INCREDIBLE. So organized, quick, and made us feel so comfortable. Even with some "trouble members" of the wedding, they kept everything in order and made everything run smoothly. My now husband is not a fan of pictures, but they made him feel so comfortable. Our pictures came out STUNNING - Tricia and her assisting photographer of the night (Jess) were so great. We didn't want to miss any part of our cocktail hour: Tricia made sure of it! Something that really stood out was Tricia & Jess showed us pictures throughout the night, not too many to bombard us, but a few to just "check in". I highly recommend using Tricia LaPonte Photography!!!!!!!!! You will NOT be disappointed.

Look no further, the last stop on your search for a wedding photographer can end right here! Tricia is warm, creative, professional and attentive. My husband and I were more interested in our photographer catching the "feel" of our wedding and candid shots of our guests enjoying themselves rather than spending the whole day posing stiffly or awkwardly. Tricia and her assistant were efficient and thoughtful which helped us get our family shots and portraits as well as enjoying as much of our party as possible. We were blown away by the photos we got back from Tricia and the way she managed to capture so many different moments and vibes through her lens without being at all intrusive. (Though we wouldn't have been upset because she's super cool and I would have been fine hanging out with her all day). Bottom line is Tricia wants to make you happy and she has the creativity, talent and compassionate approach to do just that!

Tricia is the absolute best wedding photographer! And I say that with only a slight bias after she worked my wedding! From the moment my wife & I met with her we knew she was going to be our photographer. Her personality is so light and fun that we quickly became friends, and she really helped curve our wedding planning jitters whenever we began to feel overwhelmed. Her attitude is so organized and professional that we knew we were in the best of hands! She is so balanced and able to be creative and spontaneous at the same time be in control. Our photos came out amazing; we still look at them every day so we can relive our Best Day Ever! Tricia captured the feel and attitude perfectly, with everything from prep to ceremony to reception. I 100% look forward to working with her again no matter what the occasion may be.

Tricia LaPonte Photography did a wonderful job with our wedding and engagement photos. For the engagement shoot, she was willing to travel to a location that was special for us and took the time to get to know us as a couple. She was relaxed and having fun, which made us do the same, and our photos show that. The engagement session made us feel more comfortable about our upcoming wedding day photos. On our wedding day, Tricia and her assistant Scott captured all the important moments, blended right in (guests said "Where was your photographer?"), and promptly turned the photos around so we were looking at most of them when we returned from our honeymoon. When the wedding is over, it's the photos that do the talking. I have my memories, but as the years go by and memories fade, these photos will last. I'm so grateful to Tricia for being so easy-going, flexible, attentive, and passionate about her profession. Oh, it helped she knew our venue, West Sayville Country Club. Your photographer should be one of your top priorities and you won't regret hiring Tricia.

Tricia is a wonderful photographer for your wedding. Not only because her pictures are beautiful, but also because of the level of service she provides. From the moment I asked her to do pictures for our October wedding, right up until the very last moment, she gave her whole heart and kept a positive and upbeat attitude! Even her secondary shooter Denise was wonderful, she was very supportive of everything we had going in. Tricia is a class act, she respected my time frame and was extremely flexible. She was also just downright cool to work with , and she kept contact with me which was greatly appreciated. I planned my wedding from out of state and she made it so simple and stress free. I highly recommend this photographer!

Tricia photographed our wedding and we do not have enough wonderful things to say about her (and her #2 Denise)! Quite honestly they went well above and beyond their job description. From corralling our wild wedding party, to helping me with my vail placement throughout the entire day to successfully removing all the bugs that got into my dress when we took pictures outside in the grass (TY Denise!)I was so amazed and appreciative of how helpful they were.

Tricia is also very organized, professional and easy to be with. She stays calm and in turn kept me very relaxed when I am typically a bit anxiety-prone. Additionally, leading up to the big day Tricia was always available if I had any questions or needed her advice on timelines etc. which for me, is extremely important considering you have a million and 1 things to do in those few weeks prior to the wedding. You do not get that type of service/support everywhere.

And finally, I should probably mention the pictures!!! They came out so so beautiful. The pictures I loved most were the candids and creative shots she caught throughout the evening - they captured the feel of our day so well and every time I look at them it brings me right back! Some of them I cannot even believe are of my wedding because they look so beautiful.

I highly recommend Tricia to all brides! She does not disappoint and she is extremely talented at what she does : )

Tricia recently took my engagement photos and I do not have enough great things to say about her! Her and her husband traveled from Long Island into NYC, where my fiance and I live, to take our photos in our neighborhood. We were a bit nervous to have our photos taken but Tricia instantly put us at ease and made the day so much fun! Many of our favorite shots from the day were captured when we didn't even realize we were be photographed, just walking/talking.. she captured us in these special moments and the photos came out beautiful!

Tricia is extremely professional and a very talented photographer. She has a great eye and we could not be happier with our photos (our families are still talking about these pictures). She will also be doing our wedding photos this Fall and we are really looking forward to her spending the day with us and cannot wait to see the pictures! We highly recommend her : )

Tricia was fantastic! She turned an important day in our lives into a memorable one as well. She was professionl and friendly, made us and our guests feel comfortable (and made us all look good in her photos too ?). It was a pleasure working with her and the photos she produced were truly excellent. Tricia is one of the most talented photographers that I know. She's professional, patient and knows how to capture the perfect shot. Wow, wow, and wow! We did not have Tricia for our wedding nearly 15 years ago, but we wish we did! We were fortunate to have found Tricia to take photos for a fundraiser event for Sunrise Day Camp, and we were extremely pleased with the results (and that is an understatement). Tricia was personable, responsive and professional, and the quality of the photos was nothing short of amazing! Needless to say, we would use her services again in a heartbeat!

Tricia was everything we had hoped for and more. I was looking for a photographer with a very particular style. When the photographer that I had been obsessing over ended up being booked for our wedding, I looked to people she had worked with and the internet to find a suitable replacement. In the end, I think Tricia ended up being even better than our first choice. From our first interactions in setting up a consultation, to meeting with Tricia to see more of her work, to taking our engagement photos, to capturing our wedding day, and all of the communication in between, Tricia reminded me more of a good friend or family member than a vendor. I was so afraid of booking a photographer that would be pushy or would be ordering us to do things that weren't natural to us. I feared being stuck with this person all day. Tricia and her assistant Denise were amazing additions to our day. They were fun, helpful, laid back, funny--basically the perfect people to capture an important day and spend the entire day with. Other huge positives were that Tricia was extremely responsive and easy to reach. She was also very organized and helped us plan out a timeline for the day and a list of all of the shots we wanted and when. Her turn around time was amazing. My friends were shocked when Tricia posted beautiful teasers that night and had our full gallery ready less than two weeks after the wedding. Overall, Tricia really understood us, our theme, our vision of our wedding, and the types of shots we wanted. We are so impressed and pleased with her work...we can't say enough good things about her!

Tricia is an amazing photographer. I couldn't be more happy with the few pictures I have seen so far. She worked really hard with me to get the look I wanted for the engagement shoot. She is extremely flexible. We had some weather issues when we were trying to get the engagement shoot done. She was like ninja at the wedding. She was always getting the best shots but it was never in my face or my guest's face. Such a pleasure to work with.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Tricia. From the moment we met her I knew she was the perfect person to document our day. Not only were the pictures gorgeous beyond my wildest dreams but the whole process of being photographed by her was a complete and utter pleasure. She truly understood our vision and what we wanted and being shot by her was as comfortable as hanging out with a good friend. Choosing her to document our day was the best possible decision we could have made!!

Tricia and her assistant were fantastic! I'm so happy that I made her part of one of the most special days of my life. I was happy with her as a person and a professional and the pictures captured exactly what I felt and remember of the beautiful and meaningful day.

Tricia was wonderful! She made herself available a few Saturdays before our wedding to visit the venue and talk with us about how we imagined the flow of the day and what spots we liked. She offered creative input into where we should stand for our ceremoney (it was in a garden.) She was very flexible and accommodating for our non-traditional and sometimes demanding family! We really appreciated that she went through our "required" portraits (b&g, bridal party, family) during cocktail hour very quickly. This left us a bit of time to chat with people and also rest a few minutes before the reception.

Since we live and work overseas, we are only back home for another month longer after the wedding. I asked Tricia if she could get the images to me within the month. She said yes, and her online gallery was up within 6 days of the wedding! I was super impressed. Now we are just waiting for the discs.

Last but not least, the most important part of our "review." Tricia's shots are simply gorgeous! All of our guests loved looking through the online gallery and commented how they wished their own wedding photos were as beautiful. She has a good eye, and she's fast! I was feeling self concious that we'd both gained some weight this year and wouldn't look great at our wedding, but somehow she made us look fantastic :)

We hired Tricia to photograph our wedding. From the first interactions by email and phone, to the helpful guide she sent us a few weeks before the wedding, through today (the day after the wedding when she has been sending us her favorite photos as she edits them), it has been a perfect experience. We are loving reliving the day through her photos...they are stunning and she has a great eye and a delightful personality to work with...it was a pleasure! We hired Trisha to take and print out pictures of our guests which were used as our favor. There was a lot of pressure on her because we wanted the pictures taken during coctail hour, then have them printed out and placed into frames by the end of the evening. Trisha and her assistant were very flexible with all of the requests we had and did an excellent job of accommodating us. She even managed to get some great shots of us during the ceremony and reception! Overall I have nothing but positive things to say about Trisha and Ladybug Imagery and wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

We booked Tricia to take our enagement pictures. I booked her in March of 2010 and within a week she had booke dus for our date! She even had dates available before our original date after we booked and I was able to take them earlier than i had hoped for! When I let her know where i wanted to take the pictures she called them up and asked them questions so that I wouldn' thave to! She was absolutely amazing! She even sent me an e-mail with some suggestions if i didn't know where to take pictures. She always got back to me very quickly and no matter how many questions i had, she always took the time to answer them for me.
On the day that we were to take our engagement pictures, not only was she on time but she also showed up early scouted the location for us for the best shots so we wouldn't have to go looking. She made us feel so comfortable the day of the photo shoot that we took the most amazing pictures! She even had to lay down in the grass and bend in crazy positions to take out pictures, but she did and those shots are extra spectacular to look at because of the angle it was shot in!
That same night, we got an e-mail with some our our engagement picture "teaser" shots and we were stunned at how amazing they looked! She had creatively edited them for us and they took our breath away the light and effects made everything look great.
Today, she sent me an e-mail that we should the rest of our pictures by the beginning of next week, only 1 week after we took the pictures! i've heard of other brides having to wait up to 3 weeks for their pictures! Now i get to show them off earlier!
I can not stress enough how amazing Ladybug Imagery has been to work with. A engagement pictures are a dream come true, and I know that years from now, when i look back on them, I will remember much fun we had taking them.

Tricia is an incredible photographer and is so low key and fun to work with. Probably our best wedding vendor for the value! Highly recommended to anyone getting married on Long Island.

I cannot say enough kind words about Tricia LaPonte. When you start planning a wedding, its obviously overwhelming, and you are making a lot of big purchases and are booking things you never had to book before. I felt like I could totally have gotten taken advantage of by different vendors.
From the first day I called to interview her, Tricia sat on the phone with me, answered all my questions, and really did make me feel so comfortable. I knew I was making the right choice. Her prices were right in our budget as well.
Leading up to the wedding, we talked with Tricia many times, she always made herself available to us. We were able to lay out a whole timeline with her, so everyone knew exactly what was going on on the wedding day, and where we would be taking pictures. She also encouraged us to make a back up weather plan, which was good.
The morning of the wedding, Tricia showed up to my house and the other photographer to where my husband was getting ready. She kinda just blended in with all the girls and was not over powering or pushy. She went with the flow and got the shots I wanted. After church, it was raining slightly, and Tricia was able to go off the plan and be flexible with us. We had our hearts set on taking pictures on the beach no matter what, and we were able to go down there and do it despite the rain. Tricia even brought a huge black umbrella with her that ended up being a great prop for photos.
At the reception, Tricia got all the photos we wanted, including a lot of large group family portraits during the cocktail hour. We got our pictures back quickly and are really happy with them. She got so many great pictures of us, and we would definitely recommend her as a wedding photographer. She was very easy to work with and most importantly, got us all the wedding shots we wanted. Beautiful pictures that we will look back on forever!
