Working with Trevor Holden was one of the best decisions we made for our Block Island elopement. He is professional, accommodating, and a total blast to hang out with. He managed to capture the "romantic beauty" of the island while making the session feel effortless and fun.
Two major standouts: Trevor flew to the island specifically for our off-season wedding, and he provided our edited collection remarkably fast. We were thrilled to have photos to share with our family immediately. Aside from being a great guy, his work is stunning. He captured the love and fun of our day perfectly. Best of the Best - Hire Trevor NOW!
Trevor is the best of the best and I would recommend him 100x over: I was hesitant to have a wedding and knew that planning it on my own was going to be stressful, but I can honestly say Trevor was the easiest vendor to work with and I hope he can stay in our lives to continue to shoot milestones with my family as it grows. Trevor is professional, kind, empathetic, and has photography skills that I am not able to put into words. He knows exactly what to say to make sure you’re posing in a natural way and captures both candid and creative moments. I didn’t want my wedding photos to feel stiff and traditional and I certainly wanted to walk away feeling like I hired a professional level of quality and that’s exactly what I got. Trevor also works quickly and charges an affordable rate which I appreciate as weddings can be expensive and quality photos of such a monumental day should be accessible to people. If you need a wedding photographer don’t think twice and book Trevor!! -

Highly recommend Trevor Holden photography for your special day!
My wife and I decided to use Trevor to capture our photos for our wedding day! Trevor was very down to earth and made our experience feel so natural. He was the best choice for our special day and we absolutely loved the end results. He captured so many beautiful images of our wedding that we will cherish for a lifetime. We loved Trevor’s creativity and talent as he captured the energy and special moments. Trevor made us feel very comfortable and he did a fantastic job working at a venue that he’s never been to. Trevor Holden captured our Block Island wedding perfectly! He caught all the special moments and candid shots. He and his assistant were a pleasure to work with throughout the day and really made us feel comfortable. Planning a wedding on an island comes with additional challenges, but Trevor was very knowledgeable of the Island and had great suggestions for when and where to go for the best shots. He was easy to work with and secured his own ferry reservations for his team. Trevor was professional, responsive and supportive. We are so happy with our photographs - 100% recommend! -

Trevor was amazing! From the first time we spoke over the phone, I knew we were on the same page and he would truly capture each and every moment on my wedding day! And boy was I right :) it wasn’t just about my now husband and I, but also our 3 kids, family and friends. We were now a family of 5 and he took the most beautiful photos at some of the most beautiful hidden spots on Block Island. If you're in the market for a wedding photographer, I cannot begin to recommend Trevor and his team enough!
Throughout our entire (and delayed) wedding process, Trevor was with us every step of the way to make sure our wedding day would be perfect. On the day, Trevor was there capturing all the moments, oftentimes without us even knowing he was there! He had an incredible eye for finding SUPER creative shots within our venue, utilizing lights and backdrops that we never would’ve even began to think about. The end result of the photos was nothing short of perfect. He’s the quintessential professional - his natural talent and creativity met the moment in the best way possible, and we’re forever grateful.

We are so happy we booked Trevor as our wedding photographer. We loved his landscape shots and creativity vs. just standard portraits, and he captured the setting beautifully both for our wedding in Newport (on a very cloudy windy day) and our engagement photos in Washington DC in the city on a beautiful sunny day. Among several reschedules due to covid, Trevor was very professional and flexible. He got amazing shots and we are so happy with our decision to hire him. He’s a genuine, nice guy and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him! -

I admired Trevor’s photography style and sought him out soon after getting engaged. He was quick to respond and provide pertinent details. His pricing & packages fell right in line with our budget and were well priced considering the market. We used Trevor for both our engagement and wedding photos and he was prompt to return them and work with suggestions we made or wanted included. Our wedding day was a hot one & it stormed--Trevor and Kris worked with us outside for as long as we could (lightning strikes and all). While the weather did not let us capture everything we wanted, they worked with us to get as much as we could. Trevor continues to be responsive and accommodating to us post wedding (did I mention he got our photos back to us in just about 3-4 weeks?). If you are seeking someone willing to capture photos amid a thunderstorm or get that beautiful, unplanned shot, give Trevor a call! -

Best Photographer!!
Trevor was the easiest decision of our whole wedding. His work is amazing. We love how he can capture a unique moment, or bring artistry to a typical wedding shot. He is able to bring the clouds to life in a way that captured what we love about Rhode Island. He made us feel so comfortable. He was kind and respectful, kept us on time while everything felt calm, smooth, flexible. He captured important moments, but also blended in so we could enjoy the wedding too. He was able to make our one-year-later wedding work (covid couple), and we did engagement photos on our original date. He brought a great associate too, who was also awesome. Trevor was quick to turn around photos with easy to use links. Payments were easy too with several options to pay online. Amazing service and talent. Loved working with Trevor, and you will too!! I have been a bridesmaid more times than I can count, have been to almost every wedding venue in the state, and I never leave the dance floor. You could say I am a professional wedding guest/maid. When it was time for my own wedding the ONE thing I knew I wanted was Trevor Holden to capture my day. I know he will make you feel comfortable and relaxed in front of a camera and capture all of those little moments that could almost slip by. He is right in the middle of that crowded dance floor somehow bottling up that energy and happiness and pouring into the photographs. He is feet away yet capturing that suddle, quiet moment with mom/dad/husband/wife/kids. His pictures will make you say WOW every time. He is a true artist, genuine soul, and all around great person. I am a "pandemic bride" and Trevor not only checked in to see how I was managing but buckled up for the ride which had many twists, turns, ups, and downs. We postponed our big plans and opted for a small ceremony at home. Trevor was most accommodating changing times and days up until two days prior. He captured every detail of the day perfectly and even shared three sneak peak photos by the end of the night. These photos will transport me back to the day that was nothing like we thought it would be but ended up being perfect. Take it from a wedding expert - choose Trevor - he's magic. -

Amazing photographer and person!
I got married Labor Day weekend and reached out to Trevor to photograph our wedding over a year out I believe. I saw his photos and instantly knew that was the style I wanted for my wedding day. Once I talked with Trevor their was no question. He is down to earth. Easy to work with. Extremely talented and an awesome person! Having him and kris(second shooter) photograph our wedding day was so fun. It was like they were apart of all of us hanging out having fun with us all while taking mind blowing photos!!!!! Trevor is SIMPLY THE BEST and there is not enough praise in the world to adequately describe how amazing he is as both a person and a photographer. Trevor was the first person we booked for our Newport, RI wedding after we fell in love with his work. We stalked so many RI photographers online before deciding to book, but Trevor's pictures are really just on another level and we knew we wanted him to photograph our wedding. Trevor met with my mom and I before booking so we could get to know him a little and we knew immediately he was perfect for us. Trevor is so calm, cool and humble and we knew that was exactly what we needed on our day.
Trevor was amazing during our engagement shoot and really made us feel comfortable behind the camera. It honestly felt like we were just hanging with our friend who happened to be also taking pictures of us. We really got to know Trevor during this shoot and it made us even more excited for our big day. These pictures were obviously unbelievable... like all of his work.
Our wedding day was perfect and one of the major factors to this was Trevor. He set the tone for everything. I can be an anxious person and he made me feel calm throughout the whole wedding. He arrived promptly to where the girls were getting ready and was awesome from then until the end of the night. He is so not in your face or pushy- and just captures the raw and real moments. Our pictures, which we got like 2 weeks later are absolutely on another level. I love every single picture more than the next one. These pictures are truly ART.. the angles and the lighting he finds is unreal. I could go on and on, but if you want not only the best photographer, but also an awesome person to capture the best day of your life there is no question you should book with Trevor. I only hope I get the chance to work with him again one day. -

Trevor was very easy to work with, very opening and accommodating from the beginning to the end. On our wedding day, he captured every special moment of our traditional Vietnamese ceremony and western ceremony beautifully. The pictures came out stunning. We received many compliments from our families and friends, and could not stop looking at the pictures. This is something we will always cherish and pass down to our children. User927951 Sent on 09/09/2012Trevor and his photography was awesome! He (and our 2nd photographer, Brad Smith) did an amazing job capturing our day. The edits were beautiful and we felt like Trevor was there as a guest who happened to be taking pictures. He was non-intrusive and was a welcome presence to our day.
Also, as a side note: Trevor is also a trained videographer. We had his videography partner, Kris Avedisian as our videographer for the day. The two showed up at the house together and were a great photography/videography team. You could tell that they worked well together and loved what they do. Kris also did a fabulous job.
We highly recommend using Trevor for your wedding. -

We even were able to preview our wedding on Facebook a week after we got married!! It was breathtaking & captured a lot of the fun moments we didnt get to see because we were so busy. Very well put together & they are flexible on prices. I would certainly recommend them if your looking for a gorgeous wedding video!! -

Lauren Sent on 08/06/2011Trevor did the photography for my wedding reception and was absolutely outstanding. My husband and I knew we wanted to work with him after seeing his photos of our friends' wedding.
We were amazed by how hard he worked- Trevor stayed the entire night and and never stopped shooting. He also put together a slideshow that was a huge hit and made a beautiful video from some footage he shot throughout the night. The final product was exactly what we'd asked for- the posed pictures were unique and the candids captured the fun and energy perfectly. I was especially happy with the photos Trevor took of my 1 1/2 year old niece- she was being particularly shy that night but Trevor was patient and took great shots of her without trying to make her pose. Trevor was professional, always easy to get in touch with and was responsive to all of our requests. His pricing was very affordable , especially considering the high quality of photographs and service he provided.
I highly recommend that you book Trevor Holden for your wedding- you will not be disappointed!
