We chose Trellis for our wedding and would HIGHLY recommend!! From the very beginning, Courtney was supportive, knowledgable, fair, & honest. We felt like the prices were very reasonable and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL! I saw on Instagram that she specializes in ceiling installations. We added the ceiling florals with disco balls and thank goodness we did! It was one of the best parts of our whole wedding!! Trellis also provided our centerpiece lanterns, pillars for our ceremony flowers, & greenery around our reception room. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our flowers were! We are so thrilled that we chose Trellis and would highly recommend them to any future brides and grooms!! -

Our experience with Trellis was probably one of the best parts of wedding planning. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful and easy it was to work with Courtney and communicate with her (she is so responsive via email and phone, and it was super easy to schedule a call for more in-depth questions). I had an expectation that planning the flowers was going to be complicated and time consuming, but I was totally wrong. I think one of the main reasons why I was wrong was because of Courtney and her clear expertise allowing for her to immediately pick up on the vibe we were going for and what we wanted our wedding to look like. She brought our wedding to life so incredibly beautifully through the flowers and arrangements. I truly gasped walking into our reception seeing the atmosphere she created with the flowers and centerpieces. For the centerpieces, my husband is an architect, and he wanted to build something to be incorporated into the centerpieces. Courtney made it happen. For the reception, I really wanted to incorporate some sort of chandelier with greenery and disco balls at various levels. Multiple florists told me they couldn't do it for various reasons, but Courtney made it happen. So many people also commented on how beautiful the bouquets were - the bridesmaids bouquets were very lush and mine was absolutely stunning. It is all a testament to the quality of Courtney's work. When you talk to Courtney as well, you can just tell that she has a passion for this work and for making things look really beautiful. Plus, she genuinely cares - you are not just another wedding. I truly cannot recommend Courtney enough!! You will not be disappointed! -

Trellis was amazing to work with and delivered incredible quality under our planned budget! We had a basic idea of what we were looking for in our florals, and Courtney took that basic vision and transformed it into a timeless, beautiful, fleshed out reality. She was very easy to communicate with and was very honest about what she thought would and wouldn't work. We had minor tweaks to the original vision board, which she was very receptive to, but otherwise everything she suggested we absolutely loved. Courtney (at Trellis) was amazing from start to finish! I interviewed 3 florists including her, but she was the one that came up with the most innovative idea that won me over entirely! My bridesmaids all had different colored dresses since my color palette was sunset colors. She made their bouquets special for each person such that their bouquet contained colors for all the dresses EXCEPT their own to accent the dress. Then my bouquet (bride) had all the colors. It was perfect. The colors and selection of flowers was stunning. She also did a chuppah decoration from an inspiration photo we sent and it exceeded expectations. She was able to repurpose those chuppah flowers for the centerpieces of the head table at the reception. I couldn’t have asked for a better florist, and I would recommend Trellis (and Courtney) to all brides and for all special occasions! -

Courtney was an absolute DREAM to work with for my wedding florals. All I had to do was put together a pinterest board, and she literally brought it to life in ways I didn't even think I needed!!! The florals were absolutely PERFECT, and everything we talked about leading up to the big day! She handled the setup and take down of our florals as well, and to be able to just walk into our venue and see the masterpieces she created, I can't even explain how magical it was to see it for the first time. Her florals are gorgeous, she's beyond talented and she really listens to what you're wanting to bring to life! I can’t recommend Courtney Pilman at Trellis Weddings enough! From start to finish, she was an absolute dream to work with—professional, positive, and incredibly talented. I came to her with very basic ideas, and she turned them into breathtaking creations that far exceeded my expectations.
For my early October fall wedding in Lake Geneva, WI, Courtney had the creative freedom to design stunning bouquets that complemented my bridesmaids’ red dresses with pops of blue and periwinkle. She also added beautiful floral arrangements throughout the venue, including on our cake, which elevated every detail of the day.
Courtney’s professionalism shone through on the wedding day. She handled all the setup and takedown seamlessly, incorporating items I brought with her own designs for centerpieces and decor. She even stayed during the ceremony to help transition the space into the reception without a hitch. Her attention to detail extended to organizing all my items after the event, so I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
She was also prepared for last-minute mishaps—when a boutonnière was accidentally ruined, she had extras ready to go, saving the day.

Courtney was recommended to me by 2 friends who used her for their weddings! I was a bridesmaid in both and saw the florals first hand and how gorgeous they were. When it was my time, I reached out to Courtney and she was SO easy to work with. Our initial phone call was very informative and clear about how the process worked. I was able to give her a general idea of florals, but I appreciated how much flexibly she had to change things up right up to the actual wedding date. I wanted very modern, clean, structured florals for our day and I was AMAZED at how everything turned out. Although I provided photos of what I wanted, I gave Courtney creative freedom to put together what she thought was best and they turned out even better than I thought. She was able to work with our budget, provide rentals that we needed and also work with some items I purchased / had on my own. She was perfectly on time for set up / floral flips through out the day. She was so quick I didn't even see her! Everything was already done by the time I arrived to the venue! I wish our florals could have lasted forever. She did an excellent job. -

Trellis flowers was an absolute dream to work with! When I first spoke to Courtney on the phone, I told her the general colors that I liked and that I wanted white roses in my bouquet. Other than that, I told her I really had no opinion and would let her do her thing, and I'm so glad I did. She sent me a pdf with inspiration and was incredibly flexible as I added or changed things, even days before the wedding.
The day of the wedding, I was getting my makeup and hair done and the bouquets were delivered to my room in perfect condition! Unfortunately I don't remember all the names of the 3 women who dropped them off, but they told me that everything was set up and ready to go. I was shocked because I honestly hadn't even had time to think of flowers yet that morning and everything was just already completed! I snuck up to my reception ballroom with my bridesmaids and nearly started crying because of how BEAUTIFUL it looked. Trellis Flowers did a better job than I ever could have dreamed. It was literally my dream color palette and flower choices.
The ceremony was also perfect with flower petals on the ground and in cones for our guests to toss at us. I really could not have imagined better florals for our wedding and I'm so soo happy we were able to work with Trellis. You will absolutely not regret having them! -

Better than I could have imagined
Courtney is AMAZING. She is so talented. Our floral vision changed at least once throughout the process and Courtney rolled with it, taking our feedback to heart and really blowing it out of the water. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding day florals, too. I wasn't originally planning on it, but I am going to press my wedding day bouquet because Courtney truly did such an amazing job. Amazing beauty with Trellis
Courtney was recommended to us for our daughter’s wedding and we are so glad we worked with her. Our daughter is an environmentalist with very specific ideas about the florals she wanted. We started out thinking we couldn’t get what we really wanted. But Courtney immediately understood the look and how to source the florals that mattered to our daughter. The end result was amazingly beautiful and unique, even better than we hoped for. Courtney Pilman, I can't THANK YOU enough for all that you did to help make my daughter Gillian & Angel Escobedo's Wedding day so BEAUTIFUL!!! You totally took Gillian's vision to heart and created the perfect floral arrangements that were spot on with what she wanted them to look like! You even went above-and-beyond with incorporating our personal decor with yours and took the time to set it all up, even though some of it wasn't from your shop. AMAZING!!!!

I was referred to Trellis Weddings by the hotel coordinator at the Doubletree Hilton hotel in Mundelein IL. This is where I met Courtney. She was my florist who put me at ease and arranged everything. She is kind, courteous and knowledgeable. After a few conversations she was able to come up with the most beautiful color scheme for my flowers and that is what I used for everything pertaining to my wedding. On my wedding day the flowers arrived on time and were so fresh. I used their arch and it was the best back drop for the ceremony and reception. The way it was decorated pulled everything together. I give Courtney 10+ stars and would recommend her to everyone. -

She was so accommodating, creative, friendly, honest, and affordable. I met with her several times before my wedding, and every time I left our meetings, I felt confident that I was going to love my center pieces, flowers, etc. Courtney went above and beyond any other florist I have ever worked with to make sure my wedding reception hall was stunning. She made me a unique brooch bouquet using brooches from family members that have passed away. This is just one of the many things Courtney did to make my wedding special and different than other weddings she has done in the past.
