Trinity's photos speak for themselves! They are absolutely stunning. I could not have dreamed of having anyone else photograph my wedding. Not only are her photos gorgeous, but she is beyond sweet, fun, and a true professional. We LOVED working with her.
We had the pleasure of working with Trinity for our engagement photos and on our wedding. Both experiences were phenomenal. Her turnaround times for both were INCREDIBLY fast and the quality was unreal.
For our engagement shoot, she was SO fun to work with and made us feel so completely comfortable and at ease. We had a blast. Beforehand she prepped us so we knew best styles, outfits, hair/makeup etc. would look best on camera (which was a lifesaver because I was stressing hard over what to wear!). And during the shoot, she really took the time to not only really get to know us as a couple but was also able to turn out such amazing photos.
As a COVID bride, I had to deal with a complete overhaul of my original wedding plan. I was planning a much larger wedding in Wilmington, but ultimately, had to make the switch to a very small wedding in my backyard in a small town 2 hours away. Trinity was so accommodating and took it all in stride. She did not charge extra on travel fees (even though she certainly could have) and did everything she could to make my wedding still feel just as beautiful and special as my original wedding plan. And my goodness, was she was able to elevate my backyard wedding in a way that I wouldn't have ever dreamed possible. Trinity is so incredibly talented.
Lastly, and most certainly not least, as I said earlier her turnaround times are INSANE. My family and friends were all floored by how quickly we got our photos back and how beautiful they were. I can't speak highly enough of the experience with Trinity - she's the best. Please don't hesitate in booking her for your special event, you won't regret it :). -

Trinity is the BEST hype girl!
Trinity was everything I could have hoped for in a wedding photographer and more! From the minute we first met she was easy to get along with--a total hype girl. Every single photo from our engagement pictures, bridal portraits, to our wedding gallery is stunning. I do not have enough wall space in my home for all the ones I love. I cannot recommend Trinity more highly. Her experience and talent rival anyone in the business. -

We were so incredibly lucky to have Trinity Tolbert as our wedding photographer. She was truly everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we started working with her, she brought such a fun, warm, and positive energy that instantly put us at ease. She is not only unbelievably talented, but also just the cutest, kindest person to have by your side on such a special day.
On our wedding day, Trinity made everything feel so natural and effortless. She somehow managed to capture every meaningful moment while also keeping things light, fun, and relaxed. Even when we felt a little camera shy, she guided us in a way that never felt forced, just genuine, joyful, and very “us.” It honestly felt like having a friend there who just happened to be an amazing photographer.
Through all the excitement and even a little weather chaos, she stayed calm, flexible, and completely on top of everything. We never had to worry about a single shot. She had it covered and then some. Her attention to detail and ability to capture candid, emotional moments is so special, and we already know our photos are going to be something we will cherish forever.
One of the biggest compliments we can give is that my sister loved Trinity so much, she is now using her as her wedding photographer this September, which says it all. We also already know that we will be using Trinity for all of our future big life moments, which speaks volumes about how much we trust and adore her.
If you are looking for someone who is incredibly talented, fun to be around, and truly cares about capturing your day in the most beautiful and authentic way, Trinity is your person. We feel so grateful to have had her be part of our wedding. -

I recently had the pleasure of working with Trinity and her associates for my wedding. Trinity’s associates Stephanie and Maddy were the perfect photographers and we were so pleased with them. 10/10 would recommend!
Rob and I don’t take many photos and feel a bit “awkward” in front of a camera but they did a wonderful job guiding us, making us feel comfortable and confident. The day went seamlessly because they were both so organized and knew exactly what photos to capture.
We were pleased to get our photos back so soon after the wedding and even got some sneak peeks before hand! They really captured how beautiful the day was and the photos were stunning. Trinity’s editing style is elegant and bright which is exactly what we wanted. Everyone looked so beautiful and radiant, the photos really captured how happy Rob and I were along with our friends and family. -

Working with Trinity on our wedding day was an absolute delight. Her passion and excitement for her job is palpable, and she has the skill and attention to detail to match it. In every setting and in every phase, no matter who was the focus of the pictures, Trinity was gracious, patient, and in control.
Being in an interracial couple, I had some concerns that a photographer would be able to capture my husband’s skin tone in a flattering light. I read some reviews that Trinity was an expert at capturing skin tones, and they were absolutely correct.
I couldn’t be more excited about how the photos turned out – months after the wedding, we still get unsolicited compliments about how nice the pictures look. We gave photo albums to all of our family as a gift which they loved, and our apartment is filled with Trinity’s pictures from the big day. We can’t thank her enough for her great work! -

Trinity did our engagement and wedding photos and we could not be happier with how they turned out! My husband and I are both incredibly shy in front of cameras but knew we wanted amazing pictures for our special day. Trinity immediately made us feel comfortable and kept the sessions light and fun, giving us some of the best photographs we’ve ever taken. She also has an amazing attention to detail and communicated early to understand what we wanted for the day of our wedding and any family dynamics to be aware of. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly she got our wedding photos to us!
Could not recommend her enough, she’s a gem! -

A few months after Aaron and I got engaged we started browsing the local photographers getting a feel for the style we wanted for our downtown Wilmington wedding. Aaron and I had professional photos done our senior year…. of Highschool back in 2012. Crazy right… and because Aaron and I have different skin complexions I wanted to be sure our wedding photographer had the right kind of experience and understanding with interracial couples….Lighting has always been a challenge for Aaron and I Therefore, right off the bat I asked Trinity for a few examples. ‘Ri and Ry, Jamaica wedding’ was the gallery she sent over for us to browse… It was breathtaking. The emotion, joy, and love in each photo was remarkable. From there we were hooked!
At our engagement shoot she could tell Aaron and I were uncomfortable. But her calmness in her direction allowed us to be ourselves. To this day, we still get compliments on the realness, love, quirkiness and all that embodies our relationship in every photograph. Aaron and I tied the knot on October 9th, 2021. Trinity was by our side from the day we signed up. From reminder emails, suggestions, day of coordination timeline help, questionnaires to better understand our family tree and much more. Our wedding album is the best gift for our entire family and I know these photos will be cherished for a lifetime. If there's anything you take away from this it is that without a doubt Trinity does not disappoint. The day you sign up to work with her she will be with you all the way up to the wedding day and thereafter. She truly cares for every single one of her clients. Without a doubt, Aaron and I would love to work with Trinity again this year for family photos and then on. Thank you for all you do, you’re truly a blessing. -

The absolute best!
Trinity was such a joy to work with! My husband & I aren't incredibly used to being in front of the camera, and she made it so easy and fun. Not to mention the photos are absolutely gorgeous!!! We will truly cherish them forever. Can't wait to work with her again in the future! 10/10 recommend!!! -

The Most Perfect Photographer!
My wedding was a dream, the problem is that, like a dream, it comes and goes so quickly and leaves you with only a vague memory of what you experienced. That’s why having a great photographer is probably the single most important bit of advice I can give.
I knew that I was going to hire Trinity (Treebird Photography) as soon as my former manager posted his wedding pictures, she wasn’t local to my area, I had never known or been to a wedding or interacted with her, but her photos were EVERYTHING I could ever want. She is light and airy and romantic and captures the love between a couple so easily (or seems easy but I’m sure it isn’t.) I started talking to her before I was even engaged, oops, because I knew how important the photographer was. When I was looking at dates for my venue, I did not choose one until I had confirmed that she was available. Even though this venue booked out well over a year in advance for Saturday nights, having her was my number one priority and I was right to make that decision.
From engagement pictures (which were phenomenal and I can’t express enough how comfortable and even fun they were) to communication over the last year and a half to the actual wedding day, Trinity was a rock star. I had heard horror stories from friends with super passive photographers who couldn’t control the wedding party so that the bride had to step up, or just be left with disorganized pictures, and that is NOT what I wanted. She was AMAZING with my rowdy wedding party and kept everyone in line and moving through photos as quickly and efficiently as possible while still keeping it fun. She was the perfect choice for us.
On top of her pictures and personality being top notch, she got photos back to me in ONE WEEK. I don’t know how that is even possible, and she probably doesn’t want me to say that so that her future couples don’t always expect it 😉 but that alone is applause worthy. My pictures came back absolutely perfect, better than I could ever imagined, and I owe it all to her. My sister is even already talking about her future wedding and how Trinity is a must.
To Trinity – thank you for capturing the most wonderful day of my life in the most beautiful way. I know this won’t be the last time I see you, because I’ll be coming to you for any professional photos for literally the rest of my life! I’m thinking either in home photos once we finish our renovation, or Christmasy photos next 😉
**side note, she might like tacos as much as me, so she fit right in with us.

Amazing! Beyond any expectations!
Trinity is a photography goddess! We were immediately attracted to her style, but after my FaceTime with her (cause I’m all the way in AZ) I was hooked! We talked for almost 2 hours. I think we touched on her services a bit, but it was mostly getting to know one another and finding we have a ton in common! My mind was already made up. Let me tell you, getting along with your photog IS CRUCIAL!!
On the day of, Trinity was amazing! She was definitely a source of calm which was perfect because wedding days have all the emotion.

Trinity was a FANTASTIC photographer. If you are looking for a sweet, talented and easygoing photographer you have definitely found her. My now husband is extremely camera shy, but Trinity made him feel completely at ease. She listened to all of the things I wanted in my photos and nailed it in every aspect. From candid group shots, to solos, to abstract ones of the decor; these photos are a dream come true. She even got our photos back to us quickly, allowing for us to use them for our 'thank yous'; while still being top notch quality and beautifully edited. Trinity, the owner of Treebird Photography, is very simply put - the best. Let me tell you why.
My (now) husband and I reside in Columbus, Ohio. If you're doing the math, that's approximately 610 miles away from Wilmington, NC where we got married. If you've ever planned a wedding, you know just how stressful it is & if you've ever planned a wedding from out of state, you know how much additional stress this adds.
My husband and I both work in healthcare. Our schedules are hectic and lining up an opportunity to travel together takes time and effort. Last summer, Cody and I were vacationing in Wilmington as we frequently do. Since we would be getting married in Wilmington the following summer, we had decided to do all of our in-person wedding related preparation events while we were on vacation. We met with the wedding planner, went to two separate cake tastings, had a tasting with the caterer, and, finally, got our engagement pictures taken by Trinity. Now, keep in mind, we were only in town for the week - so we had a narrow window for our photo session. Trinity gladly obliged us and we set a date for our engagement session. If you've ever been to the beach, you know how the weather can be...you guessed it - we got rained out. Worry not, Trinity worked diligently with us to reschedule. It was a beautiful day...until we got just a few shots in and it started pouring the rain. Without hesitation, Trinity unfolded her trusty sun reflector, threw it over our heads, and we ran to the car. We decided to wait the rain out...and the results were well worth the wait.
Our engagement shoot was a blast (excluding the rain encounter, but that just makes it memorable). We left feeling even more excited for our upcoming wedding.
As the months quickly passed, the day we had anxiously been waiting arrived - our wedding day. Trinity and her assistant were with us the entire day, from start to finish. They both did an excellent job of capturing candid shots and getting all of the oh, so important "classic" shots, as well. They made our families and bridal party feel welcome and comfortable in their skin. The smiles she captured that day were genuine. Trinity worked diligently to capture all of the details of our Big Day, from the flowers to the venue, from jewelry to wedding shoes, to the infamous white dress. We truly enjoyed getting to know Trinity and appreciated the comfortable environment she created during our photo sessions that allowed us to be our true selves in front of the lens.

Trinity is exceptionally talented. We have never taken professional photos before and she made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, most of time we didn't even know she was there. Trinity was exceptional! A whole 9 months later we are still gushing over our wedding photos. I am so sure we will be doing so for years to come! She was easy to work with, knew how to get our best smiles and so comfortable to be around. She was like your best friend. When it was time to party her and her second shooter blended so well with our guests you never knew she was there and yet she captured every moment you never knew you needed! Dream come true
I don't even know where to start because there are sooo many amazing things to say, I could probably ramble on about her forever. Trinity is such an amazing photographer -she originally did some portraits for me, so when I got engaged there was no other choice for my engagement and wedding photos ( I actually picked my wedding date based on her availability). I am so obsessed with her I might even do some bridal portraits after the fact because I cannot get enough of her photos! She is so talented and such a professional combined with the ability to make you feel so comfortable. I had some specific requests for shots that I wanted and she was very accommodating and literally made my dreams become a reality. After I got my photos I asked her what it is like to have a job where you are constantly delivering pure joy and the ability to be transport people back in time to the exact feeling they felt in that moment. Every aspect of working with her is a dream and I can't wait to work with her again and again in the future. -

Trinity was so much fun to work with and made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable during all of our sessions! Aside from her fabulous and energetic personality, she is so talented and very professional!! Our photos came out beautifully and we loved them all!!! Thank you trinity for being so fabulous!!
