I am not one to write reviews, but this one is a BIG MUST DO! There are not enough stars in the universe that I could give Jennifer and Tom (Tree of Life Films and Photography)! From the moment we enquired about their services, to when we received our footage, Jennifer and Tom were absolutely fantastic. They were professional, friendly, and detailed. They spent time researching our personalities and provided guidance on what would make our video look 'cool'. They did not compromise on the 'storytelling' of the video, so much so that they added another 30 seconds more to our original video to capture the 'story'. We played this elopement video at our actual wedding and EVERYONE couldn't stop raving about the video (for days on end). So much so that our wedding videographer and photographer are calling Jennifer and Tom to connect on the amazing work. We absolutely loved filming with Jennifer and Tom and we will be back with them for more shoots in and around Vegas - they have us addicted. They are THE BEST in the business! Trust me, you will not be disappointed! -

Just the absolute best of the best. Tom & Jenn truly made our day magical and captured the most beautiful moments. They were such a joy to work with throughout or wedding day - just so thoughtful, supportive, fun, and professional. They helped schedule the whole day so that nothing felt rushed; it's a huge thanks to them that we had such a successful today. We just got our photo gallery back and we are blown away by how beautiful their work is. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone for photo and video services!! -

Jenn and Tom captured so much emotion and genuine happiness on our wedding day! We can’t thank them enough for our amazing photos and being the incredible people that they are! My husband isn’t a big picture taker and he said that he did not once feel overwhelmed by taking pictures like he has when he was in other weddings. We were able to really enjoy ourselves and truly have the best day ever! -

Jennifer and Tom are amazing
We booked Tree of Life Photography for our spring wedding! We could not have picked a better photographer team than Jennifer and Tom. They are amazing at what they do and really care about each photo they take! We absolutely LOVED all the photos taken and editing style on them. When looking back there were SO many photos that we didn’t even realize were being taken (during dancing, cocktail hour, and dinner)! It was so fun looking back and seeing all these awesome photos! It really strengthened our fun memories! Thank you to Tree of Life for giving us everything and more in our photos!! We could not have been happier! -

Beautiful aesthetic, zen experience
My husband and I used Jennifer and Tom as our wedding photographers and videographers in October 2021. We had interviewed a few other photographers, but really loved their approach, general aesthetic, and the fact that they could do both video and photography. Unrelated to ToL, the morning of our wedding was a little chaotic and just wasn't the vibe we were hoping for. However, Jennifer and Tom seemed to bring this zen peace with them, which made our getting ready and first look so relaxing and rejuvenating. I had recently been in another wedding, and I knew this "vibe" was not the standard - especially in a post-COVID wedding season. I cannot say enough good things about how their demeanors positively impacted not only our wedding day, but the photo themselves. Our photos are so ethereal and natural. We look so happy and comfortable because that's how it felt working with Jennifer and Tom. They really captured our love and the spirit of our relationship. Cannot wait to see the video - I have no doubts it is amazing. As an aside, I will also say Jennifer took such amazing shots of our wedding details and tablescapes. This wasn't something I thought all that much about, but now I am so grateful for these gorgeous images that capture the mood and look of our wedding day. I seriously want to frame all those images! -

Tree of Life made our wedding
Jen and Tom from Tree of Life are incredible. Working with them was amazing right from the first phone call. It started off with just a chat on the phone to get to know each other. It was great to already feel a personal connection right from the start. During our first shoot, they made us feel so incredibly comfortable and open. We felt so at ease the whole time, and this was our first professional shoot! This was so essential in capturing candid and natural shots.
They are both incredibly intuitive and creative as well. During our engagement shoot, they found the coolest spots to get gorgeous shots. Places we would never think to go to. They just have awesome sense of what looks good.
Jen and Tom took into account our vibe and aesthetic with the photos/video they created. It just felt so us.
My husband and I, all our friends and family can not stop looking over the gorgeous photos and cinematic video. So happy that our special day was captured in the most authentic and gorgeous way. Do not think twice, work with Jen and Tom!! -

Jennifer & Tom are epically talented. I've never seen lighting used so fantastically well! When we got our pictures back, we were speechless and floored! Our families cried because these two captured our wedding moments in the most beautiful way. They also do their absolute best to give you a preview soon after your wedding to share with others. During covid, Jennifer & Tom were flexible and very kind and always responded when we changed something or had any questions. We definitely, highly recommend these two; they take your memories to the best level and beyond. -

Tree of Life Films & Photography is absolutely, the most incredible team I have ever worked with! Not only were they so much fun, with the sweetest personalities, Tom & Jennifer are extreme professionals with an incredible eye. Within spending five minutes together, we felt as if we had known them our whole lives. They captured our personalities and made the experience so enjoyable and effortless. I was in complete awe when I saw the photos; beautiful doesn't describe it enough. We are so grateful that we got to shoot with them and I HIGHLY recommend them! Incredible experience!
The photo shoot with Tom and Jennifer was far beyond amazing!! Not only did the photos turn out better than I imagined, but they captured so many beautiful moments that I now have forever. Tom and Jen did both our engagement photos and our wedding film and photos. All of the pictures are just gorgeous; they capture every moment so beautifully, it's always better than what you imagine. At our engagement shoot, Tom was filming and Jen was taking pictures. They work quickly (which, I mean, when you're waiting with baited breathe for your wedding photos...it's definitely a plus!) and are incomparable. We just received our films and HOLY MOLY. This footage, these photos---it's all more than we every could have imagined. Tom and Jen knew exactly how to frame every instant. They honored our wishes, caught every intimate moment, and found a way to create film and edit pictures that made the day feel like the fairytale we dreamed. Before our wedding, Tom and Jen were privy to our concerns and were there for us on the day of our wedding. They are thoughtful, creative, generous---and know exactly how to craft the day cinematically. They are a tremendous couple, a wonderful team, and--together--an absolute force. We looked, for months, for the PERFECT team and, truly, could not have dreamed up such special keepsakes (and such wonderful people who put them together). -

Working with Tom and Jennifer was the greatest pleasure! Their photography and videography work is the best there is in my opinion. They are able to capture the true essence of a couples love and passion in every shot. They are very relaxed even with the chaos of the wedding happening around you, they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The way they work with the lighting and framing of the lenses captures the most gorgeous photos and video. I love how they just want you to be your natural selves as the shoot, no artificial posing that feels stiff and insincere. Not only are they unbelievable with their work but they are such sweet people. They were very responsive throughout all of the planning and they make sure to really get to know the couple they will be photographing before the wedding day so you feel relaxed with them right away. We have our photos are hanging on the wall and everyone who comes over and sees them is in awe. I hope to work with Tom and Jennifer again as it was truly the best experience!! -

Jen & Tom are Amazing!!
So far we've only gotten our preview photos back (we were just married on 9/13) but our interaction with Jen & Tom has been so great throughout this whole process! They were super flexible when we had to change our wedding due to COVID and were very easy to communicate with and collaborate with throughout the process. We booked them based on the aesthetic/quality of their work, and based on our preview photos, I am just as impressed. I can't wait to get the rest of our photos & video!! -

Jackie Sent on 01/02/2018I cannot recommend Tom and Jennifer enough!! Not only are they incredibly talented, but they are so nice and easy to be around which made for such a fun, relaxing day. We booked them for our engagement shoot as well as wedding photos and video. I highly recommend having a session with them before the actual wedding day. I was surprised how stiff and awkward I was at the beginning of the engagement shoot and would have been so overwhelmed trying to get those jitters out on the wedding day. Plus, we felt like they were already our friends! We have gotten endless compliments on our photos and the video is so unique and beautiful! If you're on the fence like we were about a wedding video...DO IT! The day goes by so quickly we had already forgotten so many details, it's so fun to be able to relive it. I'm so excited for any couple that is lucky enough to work with them! We have already discussed that we will have to book them for a family shoot once our baby arrives because we just aren't ready to accept that we won't get to work with them again!

Emma Sent on 12/06/2017Jen and Tom are an awesome photography and videography couple to work with. They did our engagement photos, wedding photos AND videography. We don't need to see our full wedding album or video to know they do AWESOME work. We love our engagement photos and were able to use them in our save the dates! They met us for drinks before the first shoot, and we already felt like friends. They made standing in front of their cameras for 2 hours really fun and easy, just like a double date where we happen to be taking pictures! They had no problem rescheduling when our initial location fell through too.
As for our wedding day, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND! They came to our hotel early to pick up my wedding dress (that's right, I trusted them with my dress, shoes and accessories!) so they could shoot our details on location early. They stayed on schedule while shooting bridal party portraits, but I know they got a lot of creative shots in as well! We did a "first look" orchestrated by them, but they did it in a spot our bridal party could watch from afar, which made it special.
I couldn't even see them during the ceremony (or maybe I had my blinders on) but I've already seen some pics of our first kiss as husband and wife and some great shots of our guests celebrating!
After the ceremony we got to be alone with them to shoot some other great stuff for our video during "golden hour." And they stayed right in the thick of the action during dancing time, even when our surprise guest Hooter the Owl (Temple's mascot) showed up, they just rolled with it! I hope they had even a fraction of the fun I had that day! Jen and Tom even stayed later than I had asked, because they knew I missed one of my requested shots of the grand staircase at my venue - we snuck it in at the end! I can't thank them enough for their creativity, willingness to be in the middle of the action, commitment and just how much fun they were, even when my dad kept asking for "one more family picture!" -

User932946 Sent on 09/13/2012My husband and I did not decide until a month before our wedding that we were going to have a videographer. I had been researching vendors online and it wasn't until I saw Tom and Jennifer's work that I was so moved that I knew I had to have them film our wedding!! It was the BEST decision I ever made! Tom & Jennifer are probably the best and most talented videographers in the area and their short films are so creative and artistic you feel like you are the star of your own movie. They have this amazing ability and are able to capture the essence of a couple like they have been best friends with them for years. I am still in awe after I watch each of their films at the emotion they are able to capture. I highly reccommend their services to anyone and if you are on the fence about whether you think you need a videogrpahyer, the answer is YES! Tree of Life Films rocks!
