Perfection

Tracey captured our engagement shoot and our wedding and let me just say, you NEED Tracey as your photographer, no questions asked. She is AMAZING. She captures all those small intimate moments which is what originally drew me to her and her work, she really is so so incredibly talented. Every time I look back at the photos it takes me right back to the day because you can truly feel the energy and emotions that were happening in that exact moment, not to mention they are BEAUTIFUL.
At our engagement shoot me and my now husband were nervous because we had never taken professional photos together and within seconds Tracey made us feel SO comfortable and we had so much fun that day with her that we could not wait to see her again on our wedding day.
On our wedding day she was so much fun to have around, everyone absolutely adored her. And our photos came out stunning, I just have no words to describe how happy I am with them and how amazing they are.
Her communication and professionalism are on point, she is a true pro. She became such a sense of comfort for me throughout my wedding planning process because I knew I could completely trust her and rely on her. There was even a time we had a phone call and I was a little stressed about other things and she was totally there to comfort me which is just her going above and beyond.
Please please please do yourself a favor and hire Tracey, it was the best decision we made, you will thank yourself over and over every time you look back at your photos.

So Talented!

I was an October 2023 Saratoga bride & am so happy with our decision to book Tracey as our wedding photographer. Tracey is a fantastic person, with a real passion for what she does. We don’t live in the area, so wound up meeting her only once prior to our wedding day. She was lovely to work with throughout the planning process and is such a calming presence. She was always willing to hop on the phone & talk through anything that might have been on my mind. She captured so many beautiful memories the day of our wedding (even though it wind up pouring and all of our photo location plans changed). We had a large photo list and she worked hard to get as many shots as humanly possible day of. Even one where she stood on the back of her truck to get a new angle 😊 Tracey is also a loved vendor in the area (and everyone told me so)! I would happily recommend her to anyone getting married in the area.

One of the best decisions of my wedding

I don't think I need to tell you how talented Tracey is - her photos and work speak for themselves; they are beautiful, emotional, and real, the reasons why we decided to hire her. But what we weren't expecting was everything else you get when you hire Tracey. She's incredibly passionate about what she does and her excitement for getting the right angle, or the right light, or just the right pose rubs off on you. She and her team are hardworking; we had record high temps (yay) at our wedding and she didn't miss a beat. But then again, Tracey really cares not only about her work but about you. She's honest and trustworthy. She'll tell you if there's a piece of your hair sticking out, if you need some lip gloss, or, most importantly, if you look like you need a break. That was really important on a hot, overwhelming day. Tracey was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and I can only hope that we have another opportunity to hire her. You can’t go wrong with Tracey!!

Tracey & her co photographer did our wedding photos in the Berkshires this past December and we truly could not have been happier with our experience!! Tracey was so professional and easy to talk to from beginning to end. She didn’t forget a single detail leading up to the wedding and throughout the day, helping put our minds at ease the whole time. We had to be flexible with New England winter weather, and could not get over how beautifully they captured everything and helped us have fun with it all! We love our photos and will definitely be reaching out to Tracey for future events- highly recommend!

Hiring Tracey will be the best decision you make!

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we prioritized finding vendors who we trusted completely. Tracey went above and beyond. When I say we couldn’t have done it without her, I mean it! From our first email correspondence to the last photo of the evening, Tracey and her team were a perfect fit. She feels more like family than a hired photographer!

Tracey was able to help us understand the timeline for the day, help us find perfect locations for photos, and even was a “baby-whisperer”, wrangling our toddler and infant and keeping them smiling for photos!

She didn’t hesitate to capture the real moments- some of my favorite photos from our wedding are those that are unposed where Tracey was able to capture the emotions and energy of the day in a single frame. Tracey’s ability to hone in on important moments without intruding is unmatched. When reviewing our gallery there were photos that I truly did not know or expect were being taken.

Tracey was prompt in her correspondence and professional throughout the process.

I think we’ve gone through our (wonderfully edited) photos at least 50 times…I am so grateful we have the privilege of reliving the day through her artistic lens!

Tracey is amazing! Beautiful photos and such a joy to work with

We hired Tracey to photograph our wedding in October of 2021. In the time leading up to our wedding, we found Tracey tremendously easy to work with - she was responsive, helpful, and really made us feel at ease.

We only met with Tracey virtually prior to our wedding (as we were living in a different state from her/where our ceremony was held) - yet, when we met her in person on our wedding day, it was like we had known her for ages. She has an innate talent in making people feel comfortable and relaxed, which helps to produce beautiful photos. She was also very adept at being unobtrusive, letting us have our special moments together and with friends/family while still capturing all of those memories for us on her camera. Tracey made sure to cover the list of specific photos we wanted, while also taking gorgeous candid shots that showed the true emotions of the day (honestly we made the decision to hire her after seeing some of her wonderful candids from other weddings she has photographed!).

Not only was Tracey a joy to work with, but the actual results she produced were stunning. We LOVE our wedding photos. Tracey really has an eye for getting people beautifully framed in the right scenic setting and then letting them interact naturally with each other, which makes for wonderful pictures. She was also incredibly sweet in getting us our photos a bit earlier than usual, so we could share them with our families at Christmas.

Tracey really goes above and beyond for her clients. When I reached out to ask her about the best way to save our photos, she proceeded to send me a gorgeous engraved wooden flashdrive in an adorable engraved box, which has all of our photos on it. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture - but that's just the sort of thing you can expect from Tracey.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tracey to any of my closest friends or family - she's truly amazing.

Tracey is the best!

We hired Tracey back in the fall of 2019 for our summer 2020 wedding. As I am sure you can assume - our plans changed! We ended up getting married in 2021 but Tracey was so understanding with everything and so helpful along the way. She did both our engagement and wedding photos and everything turned out so perfectly. She is so professional on wedding day and was able to wrangle in my wedding party and we got every combination of guests I put on my (very long) shot list. I would hire her again in an instant! Photos are so beautiful and we will definitely be cherishing them for a lifetime

Best photographer ever!

Tracey (and her second photographer Sarah) was amazing! She managed to capture all the photos we wanted and was so on top of everything. She kept a close eye on the weather since we wanted to do our photos outside, and she suggested moving photos a bit earlier to beat the impending storm heading our way. We got all our photos done with time to spare!

Perfect photographer, perfect day

We knew we loved Tracey from our first phone call. She instantly grasped and shared our vision, and she seemed just as excited to be working with us as we were to work with her.

During the whole planning process, Tracey impressed us every step of the way — she’s sharp, with-it, and truly invested in making the wedding day as perfect as it can be.

Tracey made a huge effort to get to know us as people during the process. We live in NYC, so we only could come up to Saratoga a few times on specific weekends, and Tracey made sure to make herself available to meet with us, walk through the venue and work things out.

Day of, Tracey was our hero. As we had gotten to know each other, we realized we shared a love of corgis — she was a corgi owner herself and we had a puppy on the way in the following months.

As a giant surprise, Tracey organized for her friend to show up with FIVE CORGIS to come play with us for a while during our wedding shoot. It was magical — it honestly felt like a dream. I can’t thank Tracey enough for creating and capturing such a special and joyful moment on our wedding day.

More than that, and aside from Tracey’s unbeatable talent and spirit, Tracey was really there for me personally. As a bride, having all the anxiety of the wedding day and lots of people around me constantly, it was so calming and relaxing to be able to step back from the madness and talk to Tracey, someone who has done and seen it all when it comes to weddings and can genuinely empathize. She was my rock and my shining star throughout the entire day, and I can’t thank her enough.

Bonus: My birthday was about a month after the ceremony, when only a few sneak peek photos had been edited and sent over. My new husband asked Tracey to send an additional photo that he could get framed for a birthday present and she was right on it. I was so thankful to see another early glimpse of the day, and appreciate Tracey so much for helping make that happen.

Fantastic to work with!

Tracey was fantastic to work with! My husband and I live in North Carolina and she was such a help with working out photo logistics for our special day and especially for our first look for our Saratoga Springs, NY wedding. She was always friendly, helpful and prompt with every phone call and email communication leading up to our wedding which helped put me at ease with doing all of the planning from so far away. Tracey and Sarah helped keep everyone in our bridal party and our families on time throughout the day for photos and everyone loved them! It felt like they were both family members that day! The photos are STUNNING and I couldn't be happier with having Tracey Buyce as our photographer for our special day!!

My husband and I fell in love with Tracey from our first meeting. Instantly, we felt connected to her, like we had known her for years. She will be a ray or sunshine on your special day. On top of that she knows what she is doing. Our photos are absolutely stunning. Our family and friends can’t say enough about our wedding photos. She captures the most intimate, candid moments. Can't Recommend Tracey Enough!

It's hard to even know where to start with all of the reasons why I would recommend Tracey... My husband and I chose Tracey to photograph our October 2019 wedding at the Inn at Erlowest. From a talent/photograph perspective, everyone in the area knows that she's absolutely one of the best. We were first interested in working with Tracey because we fell in love with her style - she has an amazing eye, and her photographs are more than wedding pictures, they're pieces of art. She has a way of capturing raw emotion and precious moments in time that happen in the blink of an eye.

While talent and photography style is certainly important, working with Tracey made me realize that having a connection with your photographer is equally as important. From the first time we spoke with Tracey, we felt so comfortable with her and we knew that if we hired her, we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. (Having trust in your vendors is HUGE, as it will keep you from worrying about the little details on the day-of.) We met Tracey for coffee a couple of times before our wedding getting to know each other. By my wedding day, it didn't feel like Tracey was a photographer we hired, it felt like she was meant to be there keeping us company. She enabled us to feel comfortable in our moments so we could be ourselves, which is so important for photos.

To sum everything up, we feel so lucky to have worked with Tracey. She is a true professional and artist, and such a wonderful person. It's hard to even look back and try to imagine our day without her.

Highly reccomend Tracey!

My husband and I chose Tracey to capture our wedding day and we couldn’t be happier. From the beginning, Tracey was excellent at communicating with us and scheduling regular calls to discuss the big day. She asked lots of questions and really listened to what we wanted which was LOTS of pictures. She is very detail oriented which is a huge plus. She had us make a list of all the pictures we wanted ahead of time. Tracey makes you feel very comfortable when working with her and we did an engagement session with her which helped us get to know her. She is very talented and did an excellent job of capturing our wedding day. We had a large wedding party which included 3 kids and a teenager and somehow she was able to get photos were everyone looked good! We also had a large wedding venue that not all photographer could handle photographing and she is an expert at what she does. She kept everyone in check and helped make the day run very smoothly. After venue the photographer was the second most important thing to us for our wedding day and we are extremely pleased with Tracey and highly recommend her! We will cherish the many photos she took of our day for a lifetime. Thank you Tracey!

we love Tracey!!

I LOVE HER!! When Tracey was unable to photograph our wedding my husband explained to her that was not an option. We fell in love with her photographs of horses and our mutuel love of them , made us fall in love. Tracey was amazing on our wedding day!! She catches everything!!!

Our experience with Tracey was amazing. We met for coffee to get things set up and besides getting us excited about the wedding process, she gave us some great recommendations of vendors we ultimately ended up using. My husband and I were nervous about the engagement session - all that time spent posing sounded like an awkward time for us - but Tracey made it so fun! She kept us moving and laughing the whole time and not only did it fly by but the pictures came out natural and fun. Finally, for our wedding, I can't say enough about how comfortable Tracey made me feel. She called several times to confirm the schedule of the day, the must-have pictures and any other details we wanted so that I felt like everything would go smoothly. One of the reasons she stood out to me as a photographer was all of the special moments she was able to catch. She did not disappoint! Our traditional photos are beautiful but my favorites are those moments she caught between my husband and I and all of our family and friends throughout the day. Tracey gave us amazing memories that we will cherish.

Amazing! Gorgeous photos & easy to work with

Tracey is the BEST!! She captured the emotions of our day so beautifully and we love all of our photos. We (and all of our wedding party) loved her no-nonsense attitude. She makes the pictures fun but is also very efficient. I also so much appreciated she could tell when we were tired of photos and needed a break. In love with our photos

Mindful and Present

Tracey has a way of being thoroughly present and in the moment when working with clients; her pictures magically tell a story; finding a creative way to include all the emotions from the special day. My wife and I really found a connection with her, starting with our engagement pictures. What we found afterwards as we looked through all the pictures is the ability to relive those all those otherwise forgotten “small” moments; the looks, the smiles, the settings. Tracey is amazing

Tracey was absolutely amazing from our first conversation through to figuring out the details of our wedding album. My now husband and I don't feel very comfortable in front of the camera and we didn't want a photographer that was going to put us in a lot of cheesy poses (of course to each their own but we're too awkward for that!) - Tracey listened to us, answered all of our questions and totally put us at ease before and during the wedding day. She went out of her way to meet us for coffee when we were in town (we were coming up from NYC) so she could get a sense of us and the best way to achieve the ascetic that we were looking for. She was AMAZING at not only taking striking photographs, but also at the logistics of being a wedding photographer, which honestly is almost equally as important as the pictures themselves. For such a sweet, kind person she was wonderfully assertive during the day itself so we didn't have to be and didn't waste time and miss out on the wedding itself, she asked questions and was mindful about family dynamics, and she gave us input on our photo list. I cannot say enough about how important Tracey's experience was, because it led to a basically stress free day-of where we got all of the photographs we wanted. With respect to the photographs themselves, we are obsessed with them and we've received such amazing responses to her photos. She captured wonderful, candid moments that convey the emotions and atmosphere of the day almost better than an actual video would. Also important, she captured all of the people that we wanted photographed, which made all of our parents very happy. Tracey was professional, thoughtful and responsive throughout and took the most amazing pictures that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I cannot say enough to recommend Tracey.

From the first moment Tracey and I spoke on the phone, I knew she was going to be our wedding photographer. Besides the fact that she came highly recommended by our wedding venue, when we had our first conversation, she was so excited already and personable and we connected on our love for horses as well, and my now husband said, so- shes's the one, before I even hung up!

Photos that we saw by Tracey from previous events led us to believe she would capture our special moments perfectly, and she really did. Tracey photographed every emotional moment getting ready through the reception and then even our edgy after party. She became part of our family and was an expert to have by our side for the entire day. Chasing the lighting as the sun set was a favorite memory and the photos are amazing!

Tracey was absolutely amazing! Being a professional in the wedding business, I've had the opportunity to work with so many amazing professional photographers but Tracey and I always had a special connection. I was always drawn to her work and the level of raw emotion she is able to capture. I always wanted a photographer with a focus on candid photos and someone who could truly capture the meaning of our day as opposed to posed portraits.

Not only did Tracey and I have a special connection but my husband has a special bond with her too! He's typically pretty shy and reserved until he knows a person and Tracey did an amazing job of making him feel so comfortable. We did an engagement session with Tracey first and he was surprised with how 'himself' he felt around Tracey! This is SO IMPORTANT in order to get those real, true, organic, emotional pictures that we wanted!

My husband and I fronted much of the wedding ourselves so we were forced to cut back in a lot of ways. Photography was one thing that I was not willing to settle on!! At the end of the day the images you walk away with are all you will have to look back on and I knew Tracey would take images that I would treasure for a lifetime.

Ultimately, hiring Tracey was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process and we would choose her again if we could do it over!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tracey and her work. She was there from start to finish on our wedding day, and the photos exceeded everyone's expectations. We were working with a very strict time frame, and Tracey managed to take every photo we had planned on, plus many more. We had a massive bridal party (24 in total) and she kept everyone focused and happy. Aside from the amazing quality of her work, Tracey was also a joy to have around, and made our entire whole experience that much more fun. Tracey was amazing! Ever since Tracey photographed my sister's wedding in 2012, I knew I wanted Tracey to capture my own wedding day. Our work with Tracey started in the very early stages of the process; we confirmed Tracey's availability before booking the venue, and when having trouble deciding between two locations, she gladly supplied sample photos from past weddings that helped us visualize which venue we liked best. Needless to say, Tracey went above and beyond helping throughout the wedding planning process. Tracey made time to meet with us ahead of time at the venue to help look for the perfect outdoor ceremony location in Saratoga Springs' Congress Park. Tracey and Seth were so helpful and flexible the day of our wedding. We greatly appreciated their flexibility and hard work capturing nearly every moment of the day. They were a blast to work with and carried a calming presence throughout the day. We also had ample time for us to enjoy the day to ourselves! We had high expectations for Tracey, the kind of expectations that are tough to match, and somehow she exceeded them! I haven’t been able to stop looking through our photos since we received them… she so perfectly captured the evolving emotions of our day. Through the images, we’re now able to relive our love, laughter and tears (which is the whole point, right?)

As for the day itself, Tracey’s done so many weddings, she could probably do them in her sleep - that’s how well-versed she is in preparing, coordinating and executing a game plan. But my wedding day did NOT go according to plan.. The remnants of Hurricane Harvey swooped through the region, changing our ceremony site, first look site, portrait sites, etc. And yet, she was able to adjust on the flow, coming up with ideas the night before, showing up early, communicating with our venue staff to ensure our new sites would be pristine, etc. She even discreetly fought off pressure from the venue to wrap up pictures early, knowing how badly we would want them all.

The way I describe her to everybody is simple - she gets stuff done - she’s a boss! When you combine that with her experience, vision, and ability to make each picture dance (or laugh, or cry) then you get one hell of a photographer. Happy she was ours!

Tracey was the best photographer I could have imagined for my wedding day! From the start, she was always very responsive to email. Tracey made time for several in-person and over-the-phone meetings to review our plan for the day. She helped us come up with a great timeline for the day and she was so fun and easy to work with. I don't think I realized how much time you actually spend with your photographer on the day of your wedding, but I loved spending so many hours with Tracey. I felt like we had become friends by the end of our day! She was efficient with her photographs and always made sure that she was taking the photos that I wanted. She knew our venue so well (she knew which locations would get the best lighting at certain times of the day, and she staged us in the most beautiful locations). Her experience in wedding photography truly made all the difference. She made everyone feel comfortable which is one of the reasons why I think our pictures came out as well as they did! I told Tracey at the end of the day that she was the greatest decision we had made when planning our wedding, and I truly meant it! We did not meet Tracey in person until a few hours before our wedding but it was like we had known her forever. During the wedding ceremony and reception, we didn't even see Tracey, but she captured so many special moments. We received teaser photos the following day and our expectations were exceeded. Tracey was fantastic! Her excitement about the shots and her ability to take candids without us even realizing made the process fun & easy which, is exactly what I needed as a camera shy bride. Tracey is THE BEST. From our first phone call to the moment we received our beautiful photos, Tracey nailed it all. First off, our photos are unbelievable. We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning photographic journal of our day, capturing so many moments and raw emotions that I didn’t realize was possible. There are so many photos worth framing, and I cannot wait to get started. There are few moments she missed, if any, and I think it’s also worth mentioning that we barely even noticed her or her second photographer, Seth, at the reception—they completely blended in, while still getting amazing shots. Secondly, spending the day with Tracey was so fun and easy—she is comfortable, relatable, funny, and perhaps most importantly, a natural leader who is so good at corralling bridal parties, families, and other scenes and making it happen. Finally, Tracey really listened to what we wanted, and executed. She was completely open to a more unique first-look timeline and other special ideas and requests we had that day. Tracey is a true all-star. It was wonderful to get to know her in a video chat a couple weeks before the wedding, which we left feeling comfortable and confident in our choice. We realized over the course of our wedding day that hiring a photographer solely based on their artistic expertise would have been a grave error - and while Tracey has that in spades, her interpersonal communication skills were equally valuable. Tracey was absolutely amazing to work with! My now-husband and I spoke with Tracey on the phone a few times before our wedding, but did not meet in person until the wedding day. She immediately made us feel comfortable, as if we had known her forever. Her suggestions on locations for photos turned out great, and her dedication to us was so clear, too. Rain was in the forecast for our wedding day, and Tracey diligently checked the hour-by-hour forecast and made sure we were prepared for whatever weather came our way - and most importantly, we never felt stressed by the threat of rain on our wedding day. We went with Tracey due to her level of professionalism from our first meeting. While searching for photographers, we ran into a couple that were rather unprofessional. It was refreshing to find someone passionate about their work while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Tracey helped guide us throughout the wedding planning process. If we had questions relating to the actual wedding day schedule to who is a great makeup artist she would recommend, the answer was only an email away which would be answered with a prompt response.

If there was an option to give Tracey 10 stars we would! From the first day we found her website we were hooked and I couldn’t stop the tears (happy ones of course). If you’ve seen her portfolio you know what I’m talking about! We had the pleasure of working with Tracey for both our engagement shoot and on our Wedding day and plan to recommend her to everyone we know. Innovative & brilliant: Tracey knows what she is doing. The best decision we ever made. Tracey is amazing- AMAZING- to work with. It was effortless and a pleasure every second. There is nothing like having 100%, utmost confidence in your photographer.
I wish I was exaggerating when I say I only have one major regret surrounding our wedding. That regret is not having Tracey stay until the end of our reception. We went with 8 hours of coverage which left us with hundreds of amazing photos, but it would have been incredible to have had her until our “goodbye” at the end of the reception.

Tracey is beyond amazing. From responding back in a timely manner, to being flexible enough to shoot our elopement with a month (!!) notice, to standing in the pouring rain and slogging through mud to get us amazing pictures- Tracey does it all with a smile on her face. As someone who HATES getting their picture taken, Tracey really made me and my husband feel at ease and had us laughing throughout the shoot. And the photos - oh lord the photos are just beyond beautiful. Tracey really listens to your wants and needs and goes above and beyond to make it happen. Everyone I've shown our photos to gasps at how beautiful they turned out. We eloped in Lake Placid and I really wanted the beautiful natural background to shine through in our pictures and Tracey was able to find gorgeous spots that makes it look like we are in a fairy tale. On top of all that- she got our elopement pics back to us within 2 weeks ! (Keep in mind this was an off season 2 hr session - but still!!) Tracey was our photographer for the entire day capturing everything from first- look, venue, ceremony, reception and more importantly, our personalities. The pictures that she took were not only pictures but they told a story of our entire day. Tracey took such a great mixture of posed and action shots. Her action shots took our breath away.

It's now been two months since we got our photos back from Tracey. We're still as excited and over-the-top pleased today them as the first time we saw them. Because of Tracey (and Seth!), we know we will still have that feeling for many years to come.
There are so many reasons that's the case. First and foremost, Tracey, in addition to being an amazing professional, is truly a special person. Since the first time we spoke on the phone with her while going through our photographer search, she has made us feel more like her friends than her clients, something that has continued beyond the wedding. The personal connection she put the time and effort into making with us resulted in the results of her truly capturing our personalities in all our photos.
Tracey also spent a great deal of time to learn about what our wants, hopes, and needs were in terms of what photos we had in mind. She listened to us, and always made us feel like she would do whatever would make us happy. At the same time, she really helped us get what we wanted by listening and making recommendations based on her experience. Our favorite photos are ones we didn't even imagine when making our shot list for her.
Finally, as mot anyone who has been through a wedding day will say, the events fly by and looking back you inevitably miss or forget about important moments. When we went through our photos, we were reminded of so many aspects of the wedding that meant the most to us, and now we have those memorialized for our lifetime. In terms of quality of the product Tracey delivers, capturing those moments for us forever is by far what we are most grateful to her for. Our more traditional, "posed" shots were very with our families and our wedding party were very important to us and will always have a place on our mantel or wall, but equally as invaluable are the "moments" which Tracey captured that we'll look back on and be reminded of great memories for the rest of our lives.

My fiance and I were planning our Albany wedding from New York City. Because of busy work schedules, we were not able to meet with Tracey until our wedding day (gulp!). It was beyond incredible to work with Tracey! She put us so at ease and made us feel so comfortable during the entire day. Our guests were amazed at how she and her assistant seemed to get all the important pictures without being in the way of the party. We would recommend her to absolutely anyone that is able to get her as their event photographer!

Tracey was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire wedding process. We booked her early after seeing many images of weddings at our venue and realizing that all the ones we loved best were shot by Tracey. Her unique gift for capturing real emotion, candid moments and all the details you spend so long working on were what really drew us to her. Beginning with our engagement pictures and through our wedding her images exceeded our expectations. Tracey was great to work with, very kind and helpful to us throughout the process, from helping us select outfits for our engagement shoot to planning prep calls before the wedding to make sure she had a detailed schedule for the day of our wedding. She is also extremely knowledgeable and professional; selecting great locations for our engagement shoot, group photos and couples pictures that were unique and beautiful. Throughout our wedding day my motto was, “Tracey’s in charge”, and it was definitely for the best. She wrangled our bridal party of 18 together for all the pictures, kept us laughing and smiling through the awkward couple pictures and made sure that everyone always looked their best. Her turnaround time on getting us the pictures was incredible, receiving our engagement pictures only a few days later and our wedding pictures in less than 4 weeks, which would make any bride jump for joy! Overall, I would highly recommend Tracey to anyone looking for a photographer in Upstate New York area!

Simply put, Tracey is worth her weight in gold. My only regret is that I did not budget enough money to have her support our entire evening. Tracey spent time connecting with me several times before our party to ensure she had an understanding of the style of photos we wanted and a confirmed agenda for the day's events. She arrived before her agreed upon time to familiarize herself with the venue and was ready and waiting for my husband and I when we arrived. She was as pleasant in person as she had been over Skype and we immediately felt very comfortable with her. She is extremely well versed in photographing animals which proved most helpful when getting the attention of our beloved dog Rusty and beautiful Morgan Horse, Cooper (PS. The Morgan Horse Association of American posted one of Tracey's photos from our party as their FB cover page!) She captured some beautiful photos and incorporated the rustic scenery of the surroundings while also keeping in mind our style preference for photos.

After viewing Tracey's portfolio and seeing the variety of ways in which she captures people, animals and places, I knew she was the right photographer for us. Quite frankly, I was shocked that she was available! Should you have the opportunity to connect with Tracey...BOOK HER before she gets scooped up by someone else. Absolutely stunning photos, you won't be disappointed!

After all that, Tracey also turned around the editing of our photos in exactly one month, some photographers quoted us 3 months!

Tracey's work, of course, speaks for itself -- to say that she is simply talented is to fail to do her justice (she has impeccable taste; she will do anything for the shot; her photography captures the story). Tracey very quickly became our most trusted adviser regarding all things wedding-related. She is warm and generous and endlessly patient, a good listener with a refreshingly pragmatic outlook (which is to say she kept us grounded!). She manages to blend into the folds of her clients' families, to make all involved parties feel comfortable and at ease, while maintaining the type of professionalism essential to delivering a high-quality product. Once my fiance and I decided we were going to have our dog, Cooper, in our wedding, we knew we had to work with Tracey. She is an incredible photographer and fellow dog lover/advocate. It was the best decision we made and money very well spent!

Tracey was fantastic and accommodating. She was always available for prep calls months before the wedding and helped us worked through the timeline, decide where to have our first look etc.

Tracey and her assistant Seth truly exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. They directed our large wedding party and family in a friendly and organized way, making sure we could get all the pictures we wanted but still get to the venue on time and enjoy our cocktail hour.

The pictures were stunning and we couldn't be happier. Tracey captured all aspects of our day in a personal and touching way. It takes us right back to the emotion of the day each time we look at the pictures. We have a lovely mix of family and bridal party portraits, but also amazing candid shots. Our favorites include the family pictures with Cooper. It was incredible how she was able to get him to stand still and look at the camera!

We feel lucky to have worked with Tracey, and will cherish the pictures and memories forever. Thank you for everything, Tracey!!

First, Tracey is an outstanding photographer who really captured the mood and the magic of our wedding weekend, both at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding itself. Tracey is the most wonderful photographer, and we are so grateful to have worked with her! From the time of our initial consultation, Tracey has been personable, helpful, enthusiastic, and confident. She is happy to offer great tips (in fact, she even helped pick out our exact ceremony location), but also fits right in with one's family such that you forget you're having your photo snapped all day! On the day of the wedding, Tracey was flexible (as she was about to leave, we asked her to stay an extra hour!), commanding (in that she got every single photo we asked for, without wasting anyone's time), and of course, captured the most precious moments. Tracey is amazing! My husband and I eloped on May 6th to the Lake Placid Lodge. Tracey was a perfect fit for us - she kept us laughing and we really enjoyed our time taking photos with her. Eloping was an even more special and intimate experience than I could have imagined. Tracey really added to the experience and helped to make the day perfect for us. My husband loved the goose neck lights on the dock of the Lake Placid Lodge. In order to get a shot with us beneath them, Tracey got into a canoe with her camera. The photos that we got from Tracey were fantastic and captured everything from the emotions of the ceremony to the natural beautify of Lake Placid. My family told me that they felt like they were there with us after looking through Tracey's photos, which was important to me. We received all of our photos much faster than expected. We had them all in a little over a week, which was a pleasant surprise. There are so many great shots to choose from, we are having a difficult time deciding which prints to order!

Tracey was amazing!! From the beginning, she helped answer all of our questions whether they related to photography or just weddings in general. As we got closer to our date, she helped organize our timeline and finalize shot ideas. Our wedding day ended up being quite overcast. Despite this, Tracey was able to get us beautiful pictures with the fall foliage that we so desperately wanted to capture. You would have thought it was a beautiful day! Tracey was an absolute dream to work with! From the minute we began planning together I was completely at ease and felt like Tracey was just an extended part of our family/friends. Our wedding was in VT and she had never shot at our location so I was a bit nervous about her being able to find where she wanted to shoot. She came early the day of to scope everything out and listened to my suggestions to give us the most amazing winter wedding photos. During the final stages of planning Tracey was super thorough in making sure the timeline wasn't going to stress us out and that we would get all the group pictures we wanted. We had to chase daylight after our ceremony for our full wedding party pictures, which was no easy task for her with an extended party of 20 total. Tracey was extremely professional in corralling the large group while getting amazing shots. The pictures themselves, as with any of hers that I've seen, are more than I could have ever asked for. Overall Tracey was so amazing from start to finish that my review can't do her justice, special shout out to her second shooter Seth who was equally amazing!

Tracey is amazing. We stumbled upon her work online at the very beginning of our research and both agreed that we liked her narrative style and sense of humor. When our wedding planner also recommended Tracey to us based on our personality as a couple and our interest in a more journalistic style, we felt like the universe was conspiring for us to work together. Sure enough, we had a great first conversation with Tracey - we really felt like she 'got us' which was one of our major considerations in choosing our vendors. She was very responsive (and patient when we were occasionally distracted and less responsive!) and easy to work with. We had our engagement shoot over the summer and really enjoyed our time together - Tracey was creative, fun, easily inspired...I think our shoot ran an hour long, just because we had so many cool ideas. The photos turned out great. As our wedding approached, Tracey was in touch and gave us great feedback on our 'shot list' so that we could get the posed shots we wanted without taking too much time away from the party (our top priority). On the day of, Tracey (and her assistant) were everywhere - they got great shots without being intrusive. But really, in the moments that I was aware of Tracey in the room, I was glad to have her - she brought a great energy and would occasionally wink that she was loving the shots she was getting, which was reassuring - especially for someone who doesn't consider herself very photogenic. We got our photos back from Tracey last week - over 1000 - and they're terrific, a perfect mix of moments captured. We would hire Tracey again in a heartbeat.

Working with Tracey was an incredible experience. Not only did she do our engagement photo shoot on my parents farm, but she photographed our wedding as well. Tracey took the effort to get to know us and truly captured our personalities in all of our photos. From pictures with horses to my father seeing me for the first time in my wedding gown, Tracey seemed to get every special moment on film. Our wedding was amazing, and significant part of our exceptional day was having Tracey there. Anytime I contacted Tracey there was (is) a super quick and professional response. Tracey met up with me before the wedding and we scouted some spots that we would use day of. It was really helpful to have a game plan ahead of time! The day of it was almost like having a girlfriend there as we were getting ready. She blended in seamlessly and captured some beautiful shots. During the ceremony and reception Tracey and her assistant got the shots we were hoping for. My husband and I got our hard drive the other week, and our prints that we ordered came in; and we couldn't be happier to have such carefully crafted images and memories of our day. Before meeting Tracey, I felt a connection with her. Her video on her website brought me to tears. After meeting with her in person, I knew she was the right fit to photograph our wedding. Not only is she an incredible photographer, but she's a wonderful person with a huge heart. I connected with her over her love of animals and animal rescue. To me, an animal lover is a good person, and I wanted good people to be a part of my wedding day.

At our first meeting, she was genuinely interested in getting to know my husband and me, before we even decided to book her. Before our wedding, we had multiple phone meetings to discuss our wedding day timeline, photo locations, important photos to capture, and possible rain locations. On our wedding day, Tracey was organized, took charge, kept things moving, and worked hard to get the photos that were important to us. When I was unsure about something, such as which earrings to wear or how to wear my veil, she gave her honest input, which I liked a lot. It was nice to have someone who was calm and straightforward to rely on for little things like that. In other moments, I didn't even know she was there, which was also nice during those special moments between just my new husband and me.

Our wedding photos turned out amazing. We actually booked a dog photo shoot with Tracey the weekend after our wedding, that's how much we liked her.

One thing I wanted to make sure to mention is that, even after taking tons of portrait shots, we somehow missed a shot that was important to me, which happens. I was going to try to photoshop a portrait we had to create the missing one, and asked Tracey if she thought that was possible. She responded with the photoshopped image. That meant a lot to me.

Photography was one of our top priorities for our wedding. I didn't want to have photos that I was unhappy with and regret not going with a different photographer. You won't regret having Tracey Buyce photograph your wedding day.

When researching wedding photographers, I was instantly taken by Tracey's website. Her images were beautiful, which many wedding photos are, but there was something more to them. They seemed to capture moments which I imagine could easily be overlooked on a special day filled with so many big moments, and as I looked at them, each one brought out a different emotion within me. I didn't even know the people in these pictures, yet I'd find myself smiling, laughing, and even tearing up as I looked through the different posts on her site! I was hooked, and I wanted the same for my wedding. So we hired Tracey...

I could go on and on about Tracey's talent and the gorgeous images she creates, but looking through her portfolio you already know you'll get that with her. What people may not know, and need to know, is that Tracey is a true professional, as well as a kind, compassionate person who is a joy to be around. She spent extra time with us at our engagement shoot (even though it was freezing!) and came early on the day of our wedding to spend time shooting my husband and his groomsmen...something we were originally not going to be able to do because of timing issues. She also has the perfect presence for any situation. She's there to whisper "Are you okay?" when you're having an internal meltdown; to keep things moving and keep people in line on what can be a very hectic day (my husband likes to say that "Tracey is a boss!"); and more importantly, she knows when not to have a presence. There were times when I didn't even know she was there...which I think must be her sneaky tactic for catching things in the moment. And don't get me started on her love for dogs (and all animals, really.) Tracey has been so sweet to our Chihuahua, Chiqui, which makes me like her even more.

We are so glad to have had Tracey as a part of our wedding and to get to know her. Now we have our own beautiful images to laugh, smile and tear up over! :)

When picking a photographer for our wedding, it was really important to us that we found someone who captured the importance and emotion of our wedding day. Tracey did just that. By looking at her past weddings on her blog, we fell in love with the amazing moments that Tracey was able to capture in every single one of the weddings she posted. Not only did she capture those moments for us with the photos she chose to post on her blog but every single one of our other photos felt like that as well. She not only got pictures of us but of our family and friends as well. It was as if she was one of our friends who had known us forever and knew exactly what moments to capture outside of us and our immediate family. We were able to relive our wedding day through these pictures and Tracey captured exactly how amazing and special our day was. We cannot say enough great things about our wedding photos, they are truly spectacular and we will treasure them forever. Not only did Tracey take amazing pictures but she was great to work with. Tracey has such a warm and friendly personality that from the minute we met with her, we felt comfortable and confident that she would do her very best to capture our wedding day. Throughout the entire process of working with Tracey, she constantly made us feel as though our wedding day was not only important to us, it was important to her. Having Tracey as the photographer for my Fasig Tipton wedding this summer was one of the best decisions I made while wedding planning. Not only is she insanely talented, but she was able to recommend other phenomenal vendors as well. She referred me to both my florist (David Michael Schmidt) and my Hair and Make up (Make Me Fabulous) both were great recommendations.

When meeting Tracey for the first time when we took our engagement photos I knew I had made the right decision. She was extremely professional but also made us feel comfortable as if she were an old friend. The amazing photos that resulted from this meeting were perfect!

On our wedding day - Tracey was a calming presence throughout the entire day. She made me feel comfortable and confident.

Most importantly her photographs are incredible. When I first saw our "sneak peaks" from our wedding they took my breath away. She always makes sure that the photos you are taking represent who you are and your personality. She never ever tries to make you pose in a way that is unnatural to you.

I would recommend Tracey to anyone and everyone!! She was worth every penny and more!

We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Tracey. She is professional, creative, and extremely fun to work with. Her down to earth personality and sense of humor made us feel comfortable, and enjoy taking pictures. By the end of the day my husband and I both felt like we made a new best friend, and did not want her to leave!!

I am not from the Lake George Area, and we had our ceremony at Silver Bay, and reception at the Lake George Club. Tracey was extremely familiar with both venues and knew the best spots for pictures. She was also super helpful in the months prior, as she offered suggestions for other vendors as well.
Tracey was with us the entire day, and she didn't miss a beat. Her ability to capture raw emotion is unbelievable. Tracey is so creative, and has such a great eye; she went above and beyond to capture each moment from an awesome angle- even if that required her to stand in a giant puddle of mud or squat in the bushes.

We received the pictures about 2 weeks ago, which was much sooner than expected! We were blown away with them all, and it was like we got to relive our special day again and again. We loved that the photos are all super natural and in no way look staged, fake, or cliche - she created lovely images that capture the beauty of our location and the excitement and romance of the wedding day.

We could not have been happier with our decision to work with Tracey; I have recommended and will continue to recommend her to my family and friends. We hope to hire her again once we start a family!

When we started to plan our wedding, finding a great photographer was my top priority. Before we even met Tracey I knew I wanted to hire her, based on her sheer talent and the research I had done. I was drawn to her style of photography because we wanted real, genuine moments captured that we could look back on. But when we met Tracey, there was not a doubt in our minds that we absolutely had to hire her. She is not only a fabulous photographer with immense talent, but she also someone that you know you can trust immediately. Through the wedding process, she becomes your friend, a part of your family, and from beginning to end she makes your wedding her top priority. I saw Tracey's name in our event venue's book of services and decided to check out her photos. Once I glanced at the first photo on her website, I was hooked. I immediately asked her to be our wedding photographer. I could not have been happier with the results! She was flexible and professional, and the couple of phone meetings we had made me feel like she was an old friend. When we finally met at my wedding (I was planning long distance), I knew I had picked someone with class, style, and kindness. It was the perfect combo! Tracey was never pushy, but always got the job done. All my friends and family members kept saying how much they liked her. We received our photos in record time and bought some really beautiful prints at a great price. I knew I wanted a great photographer with a candid style for our wedding and I got that and so much more. Tracey is a true artist and so sweet to boot!

Fun, energetic, professional, poised and down to earth are adjectives that my husband and I feel best describe Tracey. Tracey made us feel so comfortable which made us feel at ease our wedding day. We felt like we had known Tracey and been friends for years, and in reality we had only met her on two occasions before our big day! Due to that comfort level, we had 100% confidence and trust in the fact that Tracey would capture the most important day of our life thus far with perfection, and she did! She has an uncanny ability to capture the strongest emotions in her photos and that was the reason we were attracted to her work to begin with. Any photographer can photograph a great posed image, but few photographers can capture a candid moment with raw emotion that pulls at your heartstrings. Tracey was truly one of the most fantastic additions to our wedding day. Prior to the wedding, she was so attentive and offered us lots of ideas and things to think about that we otherwise would not have. On the day of the wedding, she was flawlessly professional and well-prepared. Tracey kept us on pace with family photos and was entirely un-intrusive to allow us to enjoy all of the events of our wedding day.

Most importantly to us, Tracey has a warm, calm, easy-going personality that made spending parts of the day with her a true joy! The sneak peek photos she showed us on her camera and on Facebook are amazing and we cannot wait to see all of the finished products!

There are literally no words to describe Tracey Buyce and her work. Tracey's work is absolutely outstanding and is unmatched. We actually booked our wedding date around Tracey's availability - that is how important she was to us. From the minute she got to my parents' house to the minute she left our reception, Tracey was happy, encouraging, excited and dedicated to giving us the best wedding day experience. Not only is Tracey fun to be around, she is a boss. I mean that in the most endearing way, of course. Tracey ran the show on our wedding day and we couldn't have appreciated it more. She got us where we had to be when we had to be there and directed our bridal party as well. She kept things in line while still having fun and keeping a happy mood. When we took our pictures in private, she was so excited about the pictures she was capturing that she made us even more happy excited. We were relaxed and completely comfortable in her presence. To us, our wedding photographer was our most important vendor. We realize these pictures will last a lifetime and for generations to admire for years and years to come. Tracey is so fantastic to work with. I clicked with her from the moment I met her and immediately felt comfortable with her which was important to me since she was the person I'd be spending most of my wedding day with. Throughout the day, my husband, wedding party and I all barely noticed she was there and because of that she was able to get really natural candid shots that I absolutely loved. During all of our portraits, she was in control when she needed to be but let us be natural when we should. Both she and her assistant Seth worked so hard getting all the shots they knew we'd love. Even though our wedding was in the winter, it was cold and there was snow on the ground, they had no fear of squatting, kneeling or laying on the ground to get the perfect picture. Tracey is a dream vendor, she treats you like a friend and goes above and beyond - a true experienced professional. Any future bride and groom will be lucky to have her as their photographer!

Tracey's work speaks for itself. Her photographs capture the emotion of the day.

What is not to be overlooked is the fact that you are also getting a kind, hard-working, and organized photographer. While I was planning, my sister told me I should make sure I like the photographer as they will be the one person who will follow you around all day and they're one of the few expenses that last beyond the big day. Thankfully, I don't know what it's like to have a photographer "follow me around," but I guess that happens. In fact, there are a lot of pictures I'm not even sure how she took it. My suggestion to brides is to find a photographer that will put you at ease. For me, that was Tracey. She is calming and confident. Confidence is important, you don't want to turn to your photographer with 20 minutes until you walk down he isle and have the photographer look concerned you're running low on time. Tracey was never bossy, but in control. As the bride, I couldn't ask for more from my photographer. Thank you, Tracey!

The photographer was one of the top 3 crucial choices we made during the planning process. They have such an effect on the atmosphere of the entire wedding day and forever after with the pictures they choose to take. I spoke with a few different photographers but when I met with Tracey I felt like we should have been friends for years. She was so accommodating to what we were looking for with price, style and time frame. She was so helpful with guiding us through how the whole timing should go for the whole day without being aggressive in the least. The day of finally arrived and I felt a sense of relief when Tracey and her team mate Dan had arrived. They had such a calming and fun way of keeping everything under control, which is they key to the entire day! Throughout our first look session then photos with bridal party and family, Tracey and Dan had a unique way of capturing all those special moments, which is what ultimately won us over. Adam and I loved the fact that they were able to photo posed pictures when we wanted it but the candid moments is what meant the most to us. There's no one else in the area who can seize those moments any better. Watching Tracey and Dan work was so fascinating as they are so passionate about what they do and it really shows. They both worked so well with our videographer from the tight spaces getting ready to working the entire ceremony and reception. We do not have one thing negative thing to say. Every detail was thought of before hand, very professional, friendly, inspiring and grateful beyond words to have them be apart of our wedding day.

We wish we could give Tracey 6 stars on a scale of 1-5!

The best word to describe Tracey's photography: breathtaking. There are other words that can convey the work she does, such as incomparable, superb and priceless. In chosing a photographer for our wedding at the Lake Placid Lodge, we researched a lot of people in Saratoga/Albany/Adirondacks region. None received close to the level of praise that we heard about Tracey. So, it was an easy choice to meet with her. Our first experience with Tracey turned out to be a 2 hour call one week night. We talked about everything and anything! We clicked immediately. Her passion and enthusiasm blew us away before we even spent much time looking at her work. And then, when we saw her work, there was simply no question we had to have her involved.

On the day of the wedding, Tracey and her assistant were everywhere but nowhere. We barely even realized they were there during the ceremony and the reception, yet when we saw our photos we realized they captured everything! Every special moment, every emotion, it was all there. Tracey's eye, both for the posed pictures and the candids, is just amazing. She gently but convincingly pushed us to venture out on the Lodge's mahogany boat for pictures even though it was a bit cold. Wow, was she right! The pictures we took out there were stunning and among our favorites, although it is hard to pick from so many great shots.

Tracey is an absolutely wonderful person and we loved having her be a part of our wedding. Every step of the way, she was a pleasure to deal with. She even got us our pictures much sooner than expected, which was a great treat! If you are looking for a wedding photographer anywhere within Tracey's area, you have to hire her. She is simply the best and you will never, ever be sorry.

How do I even begin to tell people how amazing Tracey is!? When we met with her there was no doubt in our mind that we wanted her to capture our day. My husband Brian and I much prefer to capture real life moments as opposed to the "posed" family pictures we so often have to take. The emotions and reality in her images are amazing! From being the most personable photographer, to "no nonsense" we're going to get the job done, Tracey exceeded any expectations we had. Brian and I told her "we are putty in your hands, we're following your lead..." And boy, did she lead us to the most beautiful moments of the most important day of our lives!! Her work speaks for itself, but I would be remiss if I didn't make a point to tell you how thoughtful, caring, entertaining she is, and simply a joy to be with all day!! Tracey, thank you for being so amazing! We love our photos, love reliving our day through them, and love bragging to family and friends that we had the BEST photographer anyone could hope for!! The best way I can describe Tracey's work is with a single statement: my husband and I chose our wedding date based on her availability. Tracey has done work for my family numerous times and there was no way I would trust anyone else to capture such an important and special day. She took the time to get to know us, as individuals and as a couple, and it is apparent in many of our photos. Her professionalism and creativity is like no other. Our photos are absolutely breathtaking and we couldn't be happier. I would recommend Tracey and her team without a second thought.
