Highly recommend
I’m so glad I went with Trablume for my florals.
I was having a hard time finding any florist in Chicago who did not require a steep minimum for flowers, but Trablume allowed us to stick to our budget while providing amazing service.
Melissa was great to work with throughout the entire process, even letting me add on additional florals a couple weeks before the wedding.
The flowers themselves were stunning and received a lot of compliments. I feel like Melissa really understood my vision of wildflower / garden vibes and brought it to life! -

Melissa was wonderful throughout our wedding planning process. She set up multiple calls with us and was very receptive to feedback and edits to our floral plan. The floral arrangements came out exactly as we had imagined. The arch, table centerpieces, bouquets, and sweetheart table arrangements all exceeded our expectations. When we ran into a snafu with our cake, Melissa even provided last-minute flowers to dress up our cake that made it look even better than we had planned. We would absolutely recommend Trablume to other couples planning their weddings! -

I'm so happy I went with Trablume for my wedding florals. Among a dozen florists, Melissa at Trablume offered the most detailed quote and the best price! Melissa's communication set her above the other florists immediately. She was very quick to respond, and I felt like she just understood my vision and could make it work even with my fairly modest budget. After we first talked, I remember thinking, she seems so great; I'm sure this will be out of my budget. I was so glad to be wrong! The signature floral piece of my wedding was an 8' grounded arch at the altar and then in front of the sweetheart table. It was a beautiful work of art. Melissa and her team did a great job on the garlands and bud vases for the tables as well and even let me borrow lace runners free of charge, which helped me save on linen rentals. For anyone getting married in the Chicago area looking for beautiful flowers, Trablume is it! -

I cannot recommend TraBlume enough! Melissa and her team created the most stunning floral designs for our wedding—truly the most beautiful arrangements we’ve ever seen. They were the highlight of the evening, and our guests, venue staff, and photographers couldn’t stop raving about them. Melissa’s incredible vision transformed the space and made the entire evening so beautiful. I especially loved my bouquet—it was beyond perfect. Working with Melissa and her team was an absolute joy. Trablume was a dream vendor to work with for our wedding! Melissa was incredible to work with and so helpful when it came to adjusting to stay within our budget. Our bouquets and centerpieces were exactly what we dreamed up and drop off/pick up was seamless, so we didn't have to worry about anything day of! Additionally, on the day of the wedding, we realized we ordered 1 less boutonniere than we needed. Melissa was able to fix the situation quickly without causing us any concern (can't thank you enough for doing that!). We cannot recommend Trablume enough for anyone hosting a wedding or event! -

We hired Melissa originally for a 07/2020 wedding - but had to postpone for a full year due to the pandemic. Melissa is a superhero and made things so easy!
When interviewing florists, I was really impressed at how thorough she was with her planning and most importantly, how she was very willing to work within our budget. At no point did I ever feel pressured to spend more (as I did with some other vendors I interviewed). She was efficient throughout the planning process and always responded to my ideas with enthusiasm and suggestions. She seamlessly coordinated with our venue coordinator and the day of went off without a hitch.
Melissa did our venue florals and hit the nail right on the head in terms of what I wanted - organic, simple, greenery. Thank you!! -

Trablume was the first florist I reached out to when I was beginning my search for my wedding floral vendor. Initially, Melissa and I spoke over the phone for our first consultation. She was very professional and asked me questions about my floral vision that helped me hone in on what I truly wanted out of my wedding flowers. But what really made her stand out to me after consulting with a few other florists was how accommodating and flexible she was with her clients.
Halfway through my search and having spoken with a few more florists, my design concept changed pretty drastically and I decided to reach back out to Trablume to see if she would be willing to meet in person for a second consultation. Melissa did not hesitate and our meeting at her floral studio really sealed the deal! We created the design for the ceremony and reception flowers, the bridal and wedding party bouquets and boutonnieres, and the most stunning ceremony arch all within that one meeting. To top of the perfect proposal was that she stayed within my budget and was much more affordable than the other florists I had been looking into!
Throughout my entire wedding planning process, there were so many things that I felt uncertain about or changed my mind back and forth over, EXCEPT for the floral design Melissa created. Thanks to her, I never wavered on what we had come up with, and any questions I had for her were answered in record time. She even threw in cocktail table flowers and the petals around the arch at no extra charge.
On my wedding day, she delivered my bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets in person to the location we were getting ready and thank goodness I was sitting down at the time! They absolutely blew me away. To see what we had talked about for so long so gorgeously executed stole my breath from me. She captured our vision so perfectly and put so much care and effort into every aspect of the ceremony and reception flowers.

Thanks you so much Melissa for everything you and your team did to make my wedding day so beautiful! The florals and all of the decor we arranged turned out perfect! Melissa is a creative genius and it was hard for me to trust and not have seen a physical bouquet before the wedding but it was probably best I didn’t. When you see her work it takes your breath away! I rented a ton of items to decorate and she even created a photo area for me! Everyone keeps talking me how beautiful my wedding was! Gorgeous Flowers, Great Service
I reached out to multiple florists for my wedding and Melissa at Trablume was by far the most responsive! She got back to me so quickly initially and after my requests for more information. She instilled absolute confidence in their designs and were very flexible with the options she provided. I couldn't be happier with the flowers and decor for the wedding. Melissa made it so easy! -

Mary Sent on 08/10/2018Melissa, owner of Trablume, did an absolutely AMAZING job with the flowers for our wedding and reception. Her flower arrangements are inventive, unique, and beautiful. Scrolling through her Instagram, I am continually wowed by her work. On our wedding day, she delivered with arrangements that looked just as stunning in person as on her social media.
From our first meeting to the brunch the day after our wedding, she was reliable, friendly, and easy to work with. My husband and I had a relatively low budget for what we were looking for so we met with a few florists to explore our options. Melissa was the best. She was understanding of our price point and was committed to getting us as close to what we were looking for within our budget as possible. She listened attentively as we described our vision, asked several questions, and showed us examples. A couple days after the meeting, she sent us a quote with a couple of different options, complete with inspiration photos. As the date of the wedding got closer, we were in close communication via email, tweaking things to fit the changes to the wedding plan I’d made since our first meeting. As things changed, Melissa was quick to come up with new ideas and to respond to my emails.
On the day of the wedding, Melissa showed up right on time. She delivered the perfectly arranged bridal flowers to the room. One of our money saving plans was to use the same flowers for both the wedding and the reception so Melissa stayed until after the ceremony to move all the flowers the reception room while we were at cocktail hour (she includes complimentary cocktail flowers!). The reception flowers were exactly as I envisioned! Moreover, she had transformed our simple cake into an elegant masterpiece with the complementary cake flowers. At the end of the night, she returned to pick up all the items expect for a few centerpieces we were using the next day for brunch.

User2450034 Sent on 12/01/2015Absolutely beautiful! I loved my flowers! Melissa was easy and fun to work with. She was able to translate what I was describing into reality and within budget. The flowers and her execution captured my vision. The guests commented on the flowers and centerpieces the entire night. I couldn't of asked for anything better. To this day, people continue to comment on my flowers. I was able to save a succulent that was in my bouquet. It is currently on my window sill and growing strong. A wonderful memory!
