Sydney and the TPC team went above and beyond to ensure the day was exactly what we envisioned. The food was excellent, service impeccable, and location classy! I highly recommend using the TPC for your wedding venue!

The venue that has EVERYTHING!

This venue has it all and working with Sydney was an amazing experience. She remained so professional when it came to working with my wedding planner and vendors and I could not be more thankful. My time as a Bride was so easy and honestly enjoyable because this venue has it all--- a room for ceremony, another room for venue, space for cocktail hour, reception room, indoor/outdoor vibes, full staffing, in-house catering, valet, balcony + water views. Could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else!

Perfect views for your wedding day

If you are looking for the best place to host your event in Norfolk, you found it! I am a professional DJ and I work a few wedding events here every year and already have some lined up for next year. Before this year is over, I wanted to take the time and share with all review readers how grateful I am for the opportunity to be able to collaborate with such a great venue and the talented team that makes magic happen every time I am there. They communicate well with vendors, everything is always clean and looks amazing, and the layout options are awesome. You will love the sunset views of the waterside from the elevated location. Everything Was Perfect!

From initial planning to the big day, my husband and I had unlimited support and guidance while planning our intimate wedding. Sydney and the entire Town Point staff are outstanding! Sydney thinks of every detail to ensure nothing is overlooked. The entire Town Point staff will ensure you have what you need on the big day. We are so grateful to have had our dream wedding at Town Point! The food, drinks, décor, linens, A/V, room layout, and table selections were planned out thoroughly with guidance from Sydney. The day-of support came from Suzanne and she saved the day so many times! We even had to order another wedding cake due to unforeseen circumstances (three hours before the ceremony)! Garry and I (Kiara Price) are so thankful for everything and we strongly encourage anyone looking for a high-quality venue with excellent food and service to book Town Point for your next event!

Wonderful!

Town Point Club was wonderful!! Beautiful facility and the staff were so nice. They welcome you as soon as you step off the elevator, every time we visited the venue the staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Sydney Way was a joy to work with, I am very indecisive but she was very patient and offered a lot of recommendations. I am so happy my initial venue ghosted us or I would not of came across Town Point Club. On the day of the wedding the staff was expectational, they helped with my entry, guest were attended to as far as drinks and food. I believe the waitress Precious made sure that myself and the groom had whatever we needed! We a plate of Hors d'oeurves, dinner and cake waiting on us at our sweetheart table so we can eat after the event. They also boxed up any left over cupcakes and cake for guest to take. The bartender was wonder as well, kept our guest cocktails full lol. I honestly had such a wonderful time, my guest complimented the venue all night. I had a COVID wedding as well, they adhered to all the guidelines. Again I cannot say enough about Town Point Club, Highly Recommended by me!!!!

Incredibly Flexible and understanding!

Just had my wedding on 10/24/2020 and while planning it during COVID, so many things changed but they could not have been more flexible and understanding! Sydney was amazing with all the changes and eased my worries for keeping everyone safe but still had fun. The servers were fantastically attentive as well. They made sure me and my husband ate and were always taken care of. I can't say enough of how much I loved having my wedding reception here!

Elegant, Reliable, and All-Inclusive

This venue is absolutely incredible! Beautiful, wonderful views and photo spots, and includes all the necessities of a venue. As a planner, it was so helpful to have the space to spread out the ceremony, venue, and create space for guests. The view of the river is absolutely perfect, by far the best view in Norfolk.

The staff made the venue even greater than I originally thought it would be. They made everything exactly as the couple wanted it, and were prompt to stick to the timeline of the day and have everything ready for the couple and guests.

You won't be sorry or have to worry about any details of the venue and catering if you book here!

Great venue!

It was a pleasure getting married here on octoer 14th, 2019. Sydney was great from the time i first emailed her over a year ago. She was great with giving me a variety of options for my morning wedding instead of morning wedding food and such. The staff and her did such a good job setting up the morning of, they made everything exactly how i'd pictured it! She made the process very simple. I would definitely get married here again!

Absolutely amazing

I got married on Oct 26, 2019 at The Norfolk Town Point Club. I am so happy I chose this venue. I absolutely loved working with Sydney Way and her team. Everything was amazing, from their communication, to the service on the day of, to the food, servers and the cleanliness of the venue. I reached out to Sydney many times and she was always prompt in her responses. All of our guest continue to comment on how great the food was and how beautiful the venue was. Thank you for providing us with an unforgettable wedding venue.

Wonderful venue!

We selected the Town Point Club for our wedding because the ceremony and the reception were in one location and the venue is within walking distance of several hotels. The staff, especially Sydney, were a dream to work with. Anytime we had questions, Sydney always responded quickly. She even coordinated with our other vendors to ensure everything was ready to go the day of our wedding. We chose to have a plated dinner and the wait staff was extremely professional and wonderful to work with all evening. Our guests were very complementary of the service Town Point Club provided. I would highly recommend having your wedding and/or reception here!

The perfect Rehearsal Dinner

We held our son's Rehearsal Dinner at the Town Point Club. The entire experience was wonderful! The room was perfect and easily fit our large group. The food was delicious and the staff was very professional and friendly. This was my first time planning such an event so I relied on the advice and experience of the staff. They made the dinner easy, fun and successful. Thanks so much!

A perfect place for our wedding reception

We couldn’t have been more pleased with every aspect of our experience, from start to finish. Sydney was wonderful to work with, and we were so pleased with the venue, location, food, and logistics of the day and evening. My daughter the bride, her groom, and our guests had nothing but praise.

Fantastic!

I would recommend Town Point Club to anyone looking for a reception venue in Norfolk. Sydney was amazing to work with! She was responsive and never tired of my endless questions. We do not live in Norfolk so most of our planning was done via email which could have been difficult but she made it very easy. The club was accommodating with multiple food allergies and all the guests raved about how wonderful everything looked and the deliciousness of the food (prime rib carving station was definitely a hit!). Sydney offered suggestions on table set up to maximize the space and make it flow nicely for the guests and arranged our food tasting. Their pricing is reasonable and included quite a bit compared to other venues we toured. We were able to just show up, enjoy ourselves, and leave with no hassle for us or family members to deal with set up or tear down. I decided on a second dress for the reception and they very nicely set aside a room for me to change and keep my wedding dress until it was time to leave. The views from the club are wonderful as well and made for great evening photos.

Our day was absolutely perfect!

On our first visit to Town Point Club, we were hooked! the moment we walked into the facility we were promptly greeted with warm smiles from everyone we encountered. Once we met Sydney W., we knew we'd chosen the right place. She was very knowledgeable about the location and asked all the right questions to get a feel for us as a couple and what we wanted our day to look like. I think we changed things several times as we considered options etc and she smiled and made it happen for us. We were relaxed and not even remotely nervous because absolutely every detail was taken care of for us.

The Town Point Club was perfect! Helena was incredibly helpful and quick after we had to change venues when our initial location cancelled on us 5 months before the wedding. She saved us! The entire staff was on point during our wedding ceremony and reception. The food was delicious, and the venue was beautiful. We were so pleased with everything. The price was reasonable especially considering the amazing service we received. Our friends and family had so many compliments regarding the venue look, catered food, staff service, and view from the balcony. Town Point Club was one of the best decisions we made! They made our special day magical!

I had my wedding reception at town point club April 2 2016. I can't put into words how happy I was the day of my wedding reception. Everything was perfect. Jordan who no longer works at the club was so nice and helpful. Jordan helped me get organized on what I wanted for my wedding. She even went with me to pick out table linens. Abby the private events coordinator along with Brittney her assist were the best. Both accommodating and flexible. They even got my vision to set up my decortions and centerpieces for me! The night before my wedding I stop by the club to drop off some stuff. I noticed there was an issue in the room where my guess would be seating. I called Ali the club general manger. He told me he would take care of it and i had nothing to worry about. The next morning my mom went down to check out eveything...Ali was right. He took care of it!! Also durning cocktail hour my guest were a little to hungry. And ate up everything so fast. Barely left enough Hors d'oeuvres for me and the wedding party. A couple minutes later Ali came back with a tray for me and my wedding party. I can go on and on with how accommodating Town Point Club and the staff are. But I'll stop now lol. I highly recommend this venue!!! The staff friendly, the food and drinks are all amazing. All my guest enjoyed themselves too. And can't stop talking about how Town Point Club is the perfect venue.

I have been a member of the Town Point Club for over 20 years. While I have attended many events there I had never used them for catering services. Abby Bailey is the Event Coordinator. She makes you feel like family when making suggestions and assisting in your keeping within your budget. My signature blackberry sangria drink was fabulous. The view, the staff, and their personal concern for your day make The Town Point Club the venue to pick for your special day.

Abby and the Town Point Club team simply outdid themselves. Thank you. The venue, decor, food and especially the service were just perfect. There was not a single request they couldn't accommodate, or a single need they couldn't meet.

My fiance and I went to so many venue viewings and for months we were disappointed for various reasons. After an exhausting search, we met with Brianna Booth at Town Point Club and we chose them for our wedding reception. This is an easy review to write because I only have positive things to say about Town Point Club, and especially about the customer service that I received from Brianna Booth, who coordinated everything from our very first meeting to the days following the reception. I will try to keep this brief by saying that I did all of my wedding planning by myself and I recognized quickly that Brianna was going to be a pleasure to work with. Out of every wedding vendor that I dealt with, this was hands down, the best. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. I cannot praise Brianna Booth enough! She responded to all of my questions with answers quickly over the year long process of planning my reception, and she was always 100% professional. Town Point should definitely give her a raise! She worked with me on every last little detail, and I knew LONG before the wedding day came, that she would make sure everything would be perfect. When we walked in to view the reception room before our guests had seen it, I was truly amazed at how beautiful everything was, as it was so much prettier than I had imagined. My wedding reception at Town Point Club was a dream come true and everyone had a great time. What more can I say? The food was delicious, the view was amazing, the customer service was outstanding, and I would highly recommend Town Point Club to all future brides for their wedding reception. You won't regret it.

We had our cocktail hour and reception held at Town Point Club in September and it was perfect! Abby Bailey, the events coordinator is truly an amazing person to work with, she was always willing to help with any decisions and meet up any time to discuss any planning concerns. She was very helpful and made it less stressful for us!
The food was so delicious and our guests loved the passed Hor D'oeuvres, the chef did an outstanding job. The staff was very attentive and professional to everyone which made everyone feel comfortable.
The club is very beautiful...the venue has a nice terrace and a breathtaking view of the park and river. We had a lot of pictures taken with an incredible background!
My husband and I are even considering becoming a member of this club because we love this place so much!

We are very lucky to be members of the Town Point Club and have enjoyed their hospitality in the past for lunch and business meetings. When our only child and son became engaged, we immediately chose the club for the Rehearsal Dinner venue. We could not have been more pleased with every thing associated with the event. From selecting the menu and table settings to valet parking to the exquisite view to supplying the happy couple's favorite brew, the Club staff, particularly, Brianna Booth in the events planning office, couldn't have been more helpful and solicitous. We had our wedding at Town Point Club on 08/31/2014. The service that we received was outstanding! Abby Bailey and her staff are simply amazing and our guests raved about everything from the view to the food to the drinks. Town Point Club does not disappoint. I highly recommend hosting any function, be it a wedding, meeting, baby shower, family gathering, etc. at the Town Point Club.

With a limited budget and a more limited timeframe (less than 60 days!), Brianna and the staff at Town Point Club were amazing! They did all the set up, recommended a great baker and DJ, and overall, made the process so easy and quick, especially with our busy professional lives and our quick timeline. The chef even made some special appetizers to match our hometowns. Our guests were blown away by the service, the food, and the views!

From the moment I met Abby Bailey at the Town Point Club I knew that everything was going to be taken care of for my wedding. She is so helpful, gracious and understanding of what needs to be done for a wedding. She made sure that everything was done, and that everyone was where they needed be and doing what needed to be done. There is not one thing I would change from that day. She made everything so special. I would also like to acknowledge Iran who worked there as well. He had the best personality while going from the Bridal suite the Groom's suite checking to make sure that we all had everything that we needed. He was the extra special thing at the Town Point Club that helped make our day sparkle. During the reception time I would like to thank Bob the bartender. He was so gracious. patient, and attentive to all of our guests. Everybody there had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Without the help of all of the Tow Point Club Staff I know our day would not have been as unforgettable as it was. I can not thank Town Point Club and the unbelievable staff enough for the wonderful job they did.

Abby and her staff were absoutley wonderful. From the catering staff making wonderful suggestions during out tasting. To being flexible with room availablity. My Husband is a picky eater they made some things specifically for him. Always professional and willing to give suggestions when needed. The new renovations were beautiful and a great touch to our wedding. I absoultely loved this venue and would recommend it to anyone getting married in the Hampon Roads area.

THE BEST! Abby Bailey is very professional and helpful especially to a nervous BRIDE, Town Point Club is a BEAUTIFUL Place to have any events, my guests enjoyed it and my husband and I are very happy and satisfied to have our WEDDINNG RECEPTION AT THE TOWN POINT CLUB, the food are delicious and the employees are very accommodating.

I could not have asked for a better venue to host my wedding reception on May 4, 2013. The service and professionalism at the Town Point Club were top notch. It simply doesn't get any better. Abby and the staff did an exceptional job to help make our special day so memorable.

This is an awesome venue. Management & staff were friendly, courteous, efficient, punctual and accommodating. The attitude was for the event to be the best experience & enjoyment for guests. The food was delectable & service was superb. Everyone had a memorable time.

We had our cocktail hour and reception at the Town Point, and could not have been more pleased with the event! Abby Bailey, the events coordinator is fabulous, and was willing to work with us on every detail, and what we really wanted to accomplish with the event. She was not pushy, instead very helpful and sweet! The club is beautiful, and has been freshly renovated, and you can't beat the view of the park and river. The food was wonderfully prepared, including serving guests with several dietary restrictions. The venue is lovely, but the service at Town Point is what really shines, everyone from the valet to the head chef was helpful, polite, and went above and beyond to make our big day special! If we had to do it all over, we would choose the Town Point club again in a heart beat!

I am extremely happy with the services that my husband and I received from the Town Point Club! I couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding. The view is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Without Abby Bailey's help, our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was. She was very helpful throughout the whole process and made sure that our wedding at Town Point Club was memorable. If I had to go back, I would choose Town Point Club over and over again.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Brianna and Abby. Both ladies were professional and walked us through the very stressful time of wedding planning. They recommended people to us and always followed up to ensure everything was running smoothly. The actual room was beautiful with the scenery and our guests were impressed by the view and the delicious food!

Abby Bailey, the event coordinator was superb. Wait Staff was very efficient and pleasant.

My husband and I just got married on September 3rd and I couldn't be more happy about how everything went at our venue. Everything went off with a hitch the day of and everything looked beautiful, even better than I imagined. The Town Point Club liaison that I worked with, Josiana Mason, always responded to my emails as quickly as possible and always had an answer whenever I had a question. She was able to accommodate any request I had, which wasn't much as I was a pretty calm bride, and always willing and eager to help. The food was great, although I wish the salads had been on the table when everyone was seated in the reception room, but that was a very minor thing and in the long run, it didn't even matter because nobody noticed except me, of course! Overall, it was a wonderful venue with amazing food and if I ever had another event to host, I would definitely use them again as they did an excellent job!!

Town Point Club is an excellent choice for most any event. The food is fantastic, and the Chef is very accommodating; the service is top-notch; the space is lovely, with beautiful views of the Elizabeth River. Abby Bailey, our event coordinator, was amazing to work with: professional, polite and patient. You won't regret choosing Town Point Club for your next event.

Worked with Abby for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. The event went very well and she was such a big help getting us everything we needed for the event. The only mistake that was made and it was not Abby's fault is that we had requested a special wine and someone forgot to order it, so it was not available. Another wine was provided, but it wasn't quite the same. Otherwise, we considered the event spectacular!

Had my rehearsal dinner here and loved it. Staff was very accomodating and flexible. Had dinner for 75 in one room and drinks piano welcome reception for ~120 afterwards... very nice set-up. Food and drink were excellent! Highly recommend.

I had my wedding at Town Point Club in downtown Norfolk, and it was fabulous. I had a great staff working with me, very willing to work within my budget and accommodated my needs. The service staff was awesome, they treated me my husband, family and friends with respect and great service. They kept my event moving with precision and professionalism. The room we had was Craig East and West and it had gorgeous views of downtown water scape. The food was great and the setup of my reception was handled to my precise details. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event there.

We had a very good experience at the rehearsal dinner for our son. Brianna was the consummate professional and was very attentive to my questions and emails. The event wouldnt have been as succeeful without her help. During the event, the staff was very professional and followed through with all requests.
The only suggestion I have is that I think the hosts of the event should be encouraged to find out how much alcohol was consummed before they leave(bottle count) for the evening.

Rehearsal Dinner

We had my stepdaughters rehearsal dinner here. Venue is beautiful, and the sales team was wonderful and flexible.
The waiter we had was very inexperienced, not sure if it was his first day? Confused on specials, actually told us the wrong soup, but still served it anyways? Other than that, I would recommend it, again a beautiful venue

The Town Point Club did a wonderful job. We had two parties back to back and there was some confusion about directing guests to the appropriate room. Other than that, the service was perfect!

I held my wedding reception at the Town Point Club on June 1st and I must say the service is excellent! I'm not sure the price is worth it, as I feel the space is a little small and you can have the same experience for less money at another venue, but I think in essence you are paying for the name and location. Somehow the top tier of my wedding cake was cut without our permission, but other than that I have no complaints. No one is able to say who actually gave permission, as the club is stating the baker, but the baker denies the claim. Either way I can still say that working with Abby and the staff was a pleasure and the food is great!

Rehearsal dinner

Town Point Club was a good choice for a rehearsal dinner. The room was accommodating, food
delicious, staff efficient, the outside deck perfect for an evening overlooking the water.
We made several changes along the way, and the staff could not have been more flexible.
We would return for another event.
We also had an after party down the hall that was equally perfect for entertaining guests downtown.

When I walked into this place i immediately fell in love and knew this was the place for us! I was very excited to have a central location, close to the water, looking for an elegant classy feeling and I thought this place was perfect! We had a tour, discussed the details and made plans to have both the wedding ceremony and reception all at the same place. When I was given a tour, I fell in love with the ceremony room as it overlooked the water and was just gorgeous... I 100% made it clear that I intended to have my ceremony there which would start at 5pm. Over the next few days, I went to the print shop to get my invitations made and as I was waiting for the invitations to be ready, Town Point Club said they didn't know I was having my ceremony there, so they double booked another wedding party to have their rehearsal in my ceremony room the night of my wedding so I couldn't have the room I wanted. I was sooooo disappointed and angry, it almost made me reconsider this place as my venue. The event coordinator at the club was not overly sympathetic to my situation, but "saw what she could do" and allowed me to start my ceremony 30 minutes earlier than expected. This of course caused a big mess with my invitations, but I suppose it all worked out in the end. I know that if i was the other bride, I would postpone my own rehearsal by an hour or two to avoid ruining anothers' big day but who knows...

Other than that, the club was helpful and did a lot to make sure my day went smoothly. We had the buffet style options which were alright... I was expecting better for $64 per plate, but it was okay. The food was on the cool side, and the beef was pink (Yuck) but all other items were satisfactory. I received many compliments on the food.

My only real complaint is that I felt like we were at a "wedding factory". While we were getting ready, having our rehearsal and even on the big day there were other random people walking around. Wanted to feel more special.

When we booked our venue the events coordinator was amazing. I felt very confident and knew I wouldn't need to worry, she would handle everything. But then she left and was replaced with someone that was very difficult to work with. Working with this venue was by far the most frustrating aspect of our wedding. On the day of things were not done as discussed and there were many things that needed to be changed. Also staff was not very kind to my guests. If I could do it all over again I would have chosen a different venue, but you can't change that on the day of, so I had to let it go. It's a beautiful venue with a great view but that's about it.

At first the venue seemed perfect. They were available, returned my calls, and would answer my questions. As time went on and they had my deposit and contract, I slowly stopped recieving returned calls. Then when the problome was adressed to the contact, she would promise whatever we wanted and then would not carry through with it. Even though I had asked to speak with the contacts boss, I was only provided his contact information after the event. Often I would not be told of decissions made on my behalf and i would never get accurate quotes for what I wanted. Although I was ensured that their policy of paying for the bar by pour and not at one price was better, the final bill was 3,000 over what I had already paid. The only benifit of this venue is the food was good, and the view was nice.
