    Used for chair rental

    Rented gold chivari chairs and received a discounted rate sharing with other couples also getting married at the same location and weekend as us. Once everything was confirmed we didn’t have to worry about a thing, great service!

    Very flexible and clear

    With all the vendors needed for a wedding, a lot of times the events group can be not as exciting as picking food or a photographer or venue. For us, having a vendor who had quality products and was responsive and flexible was key. We hit the jackpot with Total Events. They had a huge inventory to choose from and made it very easy to narrow down what we needed after speaking with our caterer and venue. We also went back and forth on a contingency tent what feels like no less than 14 times, and they didn't once have issue with it. They are very clear and give you good tools for payment and tracking your quotes. Definitely recommend for peace of mind!

    Love love love!

    INCREDIBLE!! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company! The company and Tommie (who I worked most closely with) just consistently went above and beyond to make sure that they could make our wedding the best day of our lives! Tommie took the time to meet with me on site (at the venue) and complete measurements and get a feel for our vision. She offered her own advice and suggestions that would improve the look of the venue. With regards to the cost of everything I wanted, Tommie really worked with me to distinguish between what I needed without going overboard! I really appreciated her honesty, diligence, thoughtfulness. She really made our day everything we wanted and more – She work alongside our wedding coordinator and communicated openly to set times to come in and put the venue together, as well as break it down in a timely manner. Tommie is terrific, tentative, prompt, reliable, and easy to talk to – communicating with her is like talking to a good friend except, Tommie is invested in making your wedding the most memorable, amazing day possible.

    Talk about amazing customer service! Total events was absolutely fantastic to work with and very accommodating! They magically transformed the Hall of Springs with their drapery and lights. I absolutely loved everything that they did for me. We also used them for special chairs for our head table, which were fabulous, and a gorgeous tablecloth for our head table as well that perfectly matched my vision. We received so many compliments on their work from our wedding guests! I am very bad with visualizing things and they had us meet in their show room to show us what things would look like in person, which I found extremely helpful! They were very responsive to emails as well, Rachel was absolutely fabulous she always got back to me right away even with the smallest question or request. I would definitely use them again! If you have an event that you need decor or other rentals I would definitely go through Total Events, they are awesome!!

    We had been hunting for chivari chairs for our wedding for months! No one responded or had a half way decent price. Total Events responded the day we emailed them, quoted up a price better than anyone else, and had the paper work ready the next day. Needless to say, I recommend them to anyone!!!

    Total Events provided our tables, chairs, and dinnerware for our reception. Samantha worked with us and our caterer to provide exactly what was needed to create a seamless experience, no hassles, professional delivery, flexible timing to accommodate our needs. We recommend without reservation!

    What great people to work with!!! We booked our pipe and draping from Total Events and it was beautiful!!!! We were so excited to have this at our wedding until we found out that it needed to be put up the day before (due to needs of the venue) which meant the wedding the day before us would be using it for free! Even though we weren't happy with this, total events ensured us that if anything was dirty or damaged they would be there bright and early to replace and fix it. Luckily nothing was wrong with anything but they did come by to check and make sure everything was okay. The pipe and draping was beautiful and it added so much to the venue!

    Total Events was a great find! They put up with my changes easily (and I was careful not to make changes too close to the event date). The setup crew was on-time and careful, the linens were of very nice quality. They have many more options than we used (we didn't use a tent, for example) and their decor options were beautiful, although we kept it pretty simple with just some ceiling lighting. Rentals are a significant expense, but we felt we got excellent value with very little stress!

    We had the pleasure of working with Samantha and the Total Events team. We rented decor components for the reception along with a tent, table, chairs, linens, etc. for a day-after BBQ. We were incredibly pleased with the execution of all of our elements, everything looked beautiful. Samantha was wonderful to work with and made sure that each of the event rentals were setup exactly how we wanted it to be. Total Events has such a variety to offer so they can really make all of your visions a reality.

    My husband and I used Total Events for our ceremony and reception chairs. Megan was a delight to work with and incredibly responsive (I would receive replies to my emails within minutes!). The gentlemen who delivered the chairs were very nice as well.

    We contacted Total Events about renting furniture for our wedding. Kim Coon helped us select the perfect setup for our wedding at The Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake! She knew exactly what would fit and what would look best! I didn’t have to think twice about the delivery, setup or pickup – I knew we were in good hands! During our wedding the guests made great use of the furniture – we are so happy with our decisions to use Total Events!

    My husband and I worked with Megan from Total Events to transform the space at the Saratoga Springs City Center for our ceremony and reception. She immediately saw our vision and provided a detailed proposal within days of our first meeting. The prices were very reasonable based on our research and we discussed how to select the decor items (lighting, chairs, drapery, etc.) that would give us the most bang for our buck ... we didn't want to sacrifice our vision, but wanted to keep things reasonable.     Total Events did such an amazing job transforming my reception tent so it looked picture perfect. They were very reasonably priced for what you got. They did the draping and lights for my reception as well as the chairs and did such a fabulous job. Samantha Richards is such a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating to what I was looking for to fall within my budget. I would recommend Total Events to provide decorations for anyone's wedding in Albany area!

    We rented gold chivari chairs, floor length linens and the black and white dance floor from Total Events and they made our event!!!! Everyone we dealt with was super nice and accommodating! I would definitely recommend to a friend!!! Everyone should have a black and white dance floor... it looked AMAZING!!

    Very pleased with the service! They welcomed me into their showroom where we designed my guest tables..all of the linens they offer hanging as well as centerpiece options, which really helped in making decisions! Total Events really cared about making my fall tent wedding beautiful! Visit their showroom; A Must!!

    They provided all of our rentals for our July 2011 wedding. Everything was beautiful and they really came through for us. We felt like their prices were fair and never felt like they tried to "up sell" us. We gave them our budget and they worked within it, including helping us come up with creative lighting solutions that really helped us create a magical ceremony and reception.

    Total events was excellent. they set up our tents and tables and chairs. There prices are great, they were on time and suggestion items we needed but didnt think of. their staff is great to!!

    Total events have many rentals to choose from! We chose to rent a dance floor in order to centralize the dancing at our wedding. They were easy to work with- both over the phone and through emails... and set up looked amazing!

    I may have been their most difficult customer but they truly did everything to make me happy. The guys who delievered my tent, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens, lighting and decorations were AMAZING!! Ivan is the best and such a pleasure to deal with. We had a lot of issues but every single one of them were resolved and turned out better than expected!

    We used Total Events for our lighting and chair rentals. The lighting was pitch perfect, exactly what we'd hoped for. We had LED uplighting around the perimeter of the ballroom in a gorgeous amber color to give an enhanced feeling of candlelight and create a more intimate atmosphere. The chairs were beautiful and added an elegant finishing touch to the ambiance of our wedding.

    The staff is highly knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them for all of your rental needs.

    The 40x100" tent was gorgeously lit with bistro lights and white illuminated lanterns that lent an air of romance and intimacy. It was truly magical! The staff was responsive and professional. Our wedding reception was held on our property in Knox, NY. They did an incredible job with the set up and break down which made it stress free for us. Total Events helped make our daughters wedding day dream come true!

    Kim at Total Events was extremely helpful and professional to work with! We had our wedding at Mabee Farm in August 2014, and chose Total Events because we found their tent prices to be among the most reasonable. As luck would have it we worked with Kim, and she was really great about offering great ideas, sharing sound advice, and making sure everything went smoothly. I'd recommend Kim at Total Events to anyone having a wedding in the area!

    Total Events was great,not only did they help us locate the tent we wanted they also delivered and set it up for us.We put the tent to good use on a sunny day and it helped our reception be more enjoyable.I was surprised that we where able to get such a great tent for a low price.We will definitely be renting more stuff in the future.

    Total events provided excellent, high-quality and beautiful crystal tree centerpieces for our wedding reception. Even when there was a last-minute issue with the total number of trees that were available, Total Events was able to quickly compensate by providing two very special centerpieces for our parents tables, at no extra cost. This was a very nice perk. The reception hall looked beautiful and elegant! The only disappointment was that along with the crystal trees were provided special LED lights. At our reception, a couple of these lights were not working, which was a disappointment. Other than that, they exceeded our expectations, especially in the preliminary process of working with and designing the centerpieces with the employees at Total Events!

    Beautiful, but overpriced

    We rented drapery and upgraded chairs for our wedding, which were stunning and made a very dramatic look to our venue, however the rentals were quite expensive. I do want to give total events credit for their quick response time and extremely professional and pleasant staff as well as the opportunity to be flexible with what we needed.

    They provided beautiful pipe and drape for our wedding. It was expensive, but we were very pleased with the quality, the set up, and the ease of booking. We didn't have any issues, and everything was taken care of as we expected.

    My husband and I used Total Events for our wedding at a barn. The venue was totally DIY, so we needed to rent tables, chairs, decorations, lights, etc. In most respects they did a good job. We worked with Megan and she was very responsive anytime we emailed with questions and would promptly update our contract anytime we made any changes.

    I’ll be honest, though: of all the various vendors I worked with for our wedding, this is the one I feel least enthusiastic about. Part of it is that I never really got the sense that they cared all that much. Everything felt very expedited and impersonal. Maybe this is asking too much of a rental company, but Total Events is not cheap, so I feel like the least you can ask for is a sense that they care.

    The bigger issue, though, was that they mixed up the date of our wedding, thinking it was on Friday instead of Saturday. Fortunately the issue was discovered in time (three days before the wedding! eek!), and Total Events was able to extend our rental an extra day. So, all’s well that ends well, but it was a pretty egregious mistake to have made. Although I admit that my husband and I should have noticed that the date was incorrect on the contract (we thought the earlier date indicated when they were dropping everything off at the venue), I double-checked that I wrote the correct date when I initially contacted them, and I had. So somehow they mixed it up on their end. Even though it worked out ok, that’s not the sort of mistake you want the rental company for your wedding to be making.

    So, they got the job done just fine in the end, but it wasn’t cheap, they were impersonal, and they mixed up the date of our wedding. I’ll let you decide if they’re a good choice for your wedding. If you do hire them, though, I have one piece of advice: check the date on that contract! ;)

    We appreciated the flexibility in holding down cost by substituting bamboo plates and using less linen. The caterer needed to substitute white linen for cream colored, and propane was a last minute cost for the convection oven that should have been known ahead of time. They provided what we needed at reasonable cost for a small special wedding.

    We used Total Events for centerpiece and linen rentals. The centerpieces and linens were both beautiful, but I found the service lacking. They were very slow to respond for quotes, processing payments, etc. Also the day before the wedding, when unpacking the centerpieces, we realized that not all the centerpieces pieces were what we had ordered (different bases). What they gave us worked and looked okay, but when I specifically reserve something I expect to receive the same thing or at least be notified before hand that they did not have the same pieces. No recompense was offered for the change. Since these were not cheap rentals, and the mistake was on their end, I think they should have tried to rectify their mistake.

    Bottom line, Total Events has some of the most beautiful rental pieces in the area, but they are pricey with lackluster service.

    I would never recommend this company to anyone. They were awful to work with. It took months for them to go do a site inspection and then they wanted to change the location of our tent at the last minute. I also kept asking for a quote on how much everything was going to cost, which I did not get until 2 months before my wedding. More stress than it is worth.

    I met with Total Events in early September. They said it would take 2 weeks to get a quote for my wedding...nope. Try 1 month, and only because I sent an email saying I was going to take my business elsewhere. As soon as I sent that email, I got my quote, which said to contact them with any questions. The quote was missing 3 of the items I wanted to rent (chairs, tablecloths, and drapery), all of which are very important, so I sent another email. That was a month ago, I'm still waiting for a response, and sent another email to them just a few minutes ago. Its absolutely unprofessional if you ask me...     Horrible experience with total events for my wedding, I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service was seriously lacking. It took weeks at a time to hear back from anyone through both emails and phone calls and when I finally received a phone call, the woman I spoke with was unapologetic and rude. They seemed very disorganized and the decor ended up looking nothing at all as they promised it would. It was especially disappointing because of the amount of money I paid and time I wasted trying to deal with a company that simply doesn't care.
