Top tier wedding band!

We used Top Tier Band for our wedding day in Nashville, TN on 10/11/25. BEST DECISION EVER! Everything was fantastic from start to finish. JD, the band leader, was incredibly easy to work with and flexible throughout the planning process. We booked the 5 piece band + 3 piece horn section. We told him our music preferences and they created a set list for us that had the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT! Coming from a Bride who was nervous about people dancing at our wedding...go ahead and ease your mind by booking Top Tier. They brought amazing energy and we got so many compliments on how great the band was. My husband and I did not leave the dance floor for the entire reception, and wedding guests followed! We had another musician play during Top Tier's break, and Top Tier let him use some of their equipment. JD was very accommodating coordinating this with our other musician. 10/10 experience, professionalism, and overall value for your money. And they are so talented! You won't regret it! BOOK THE LIVE BAND! Thank you JD and Top Tier for giving us the night of our lives!

Best wedding band!!!!

We booked the 8-piece band with sax & keys for cocktail hour, and they could not have been better! We were so thrilled with the band’s performance. So much of the party was reliant on the band and we were so relieved with their performance, especially JD’s care and attention to night-of requests.

Thank you so much for helping make that night go as good as it possibly could. I still have guests talking about your band and how fun the whole night was. They exceeded all expectations!!!

If we host a big event again, we will certainly give them a call!

Trust the 5 star reviews-They are incredible.

I booked Top Tier Band without ever hearing them, but trusting their 200+ five start review. This is your sign that they lived up to their reviews. JD was so easy to work with and accommodating to all requests. Guests kept coming up to me throughout the night telling me how phenomenal they are. I could not recommend them enough. I gave a very small do not play list for the wedding and let the band take care of the rest-- they kept the night going and read the room for exactly what was needed to keep them on the dance floor. Vocals were 10/10 and vibes 11/10. Consider yourself lucky to get Top Tier, so book early and don't overthink.

Wedding Band everyone should have!

Top Tier made our wedding reception exceptional. Everyone is still talking about how great the band was and how much fun they had. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. We have photos to prove it! JD was great to work with leading up to the wedding and made things very simple and easy. On the wedding day we got off schedule due to our ceremony running long and the band did not miss a beat. I cannot recommend this band enough. They made our reception so special. They have a great sound and the singer is 10/10. We really appreciated how they read the crowd and chose awesome songs for all ages. This took making a set list off my plate, and I greatly appreciated it! Best wedding band!

The Best Band!!

Honestly, I was a bit nervous about booking a band I hadn’t seen perform live, but Top Tier completely exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better band for our wedding!! Despite a rainy, muddy day, they absolutely crushed it! Our goal was to stay on the dance floor all night—and that’s exactly what they delivered. The energy was off the charts, and we got so many compliments from our guests, with several even saying they were the best band ever! They kept the crowd engaged, the dance floor packed, and the vibes perfect from start to finish.

If you’re hesitant about booking a band you haven’t seen live, I can assure you—Top Tier is beyond worth it and I would book them again no question. They made our wedding night unforgettable and we couldn’t have asked for more!

Amazing Band – Unforgettable Performance!

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to book Top Tier for our wedding. They were professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our day special. JD was very nice and quick to respond anytime we reached out. From start to finish they made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
The vocals and musicians were top of the line. They had everyone on the dance floor all night. They did a great job mixing classics with current hits.
We had so many people telling us how great the band was, and we couldn’t agree more. If you are looking for a band for your wedding or event, look no further.

Phenomenal band!

Our wedding was in the middle of nowhere and these guys showed up and rocked out. I think my only regret of my whole wedding day is that several people left early and didn’t get to enjoy how amazing Top Tier really was. I can’t say enough good things about this band.

Best band EVER!!!

I could write a book about how wonderful Top Tier Band is. JD and his team are incredibly responsive to questions, requests, and provide great recommendations when I needed them. I found them so extremely pleasant to work with beforehand. At the wedding itself, they had every single person dancing and singing all night. Our guests were raving about how great their music was and how fun and amazing the vocals were. Top Tier was fantastic in being able to learn a couple songs for us that made the night even more special. Everyone keeps telling us how great the music was, and we agree. They are the absolute best!

Amazing Experience!!

Our entire experience with Top Tier Band was simply phenomenal! JD was always extremely responsive and helpful, and kindly answered my many questions throughout wedding planning. They were super accommodating in learning our first dance song, which made the experience even more personal. We had an alcohol-free wedding, but Top Tier created such a fun and lively vibe that everyone was on the dance floor the whole evening.
Overall, we're incredibly grateful for the role Top Tier Band played in making our wedding day unforgettable. Their talent and professionalism exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to elevate their special event with exceptional live music.

They made this wedding work after many things went awry

JD was responsive always, he was able to go with an alternate plan very last minute and the music was amazing. So much fun to dance to all the music, just wish the wedding was longer for us to enjoy the music longer.
Everyone of all ages enjoyed them.

Wow… I could not say enough about JD and his band. From the beginning he was always there for my husband and I and always responded within a new minutes. Best Wedding Band EVER!!!

Top Tier was truly the most incredible band!!! It was such a gift to have them play at our wedding. They were timely, responsive, and professional. But more importantly, they were incredibly personal, engaging, excited to be there, lively, and just the best time!!! Everyone raved about how wonderful our band was and my husband and I now couldn’t have imagined the day without them. From MC-ing the event, to learning and performing a song written especially for us for our first dance, and then to finishing the night with a worship song: everything was perfect. Five stars for JD and Top Tier! It rained on my wedding day and it seemed that nothing went to plan but the band was out of this world! JD is so helpful and responsive, the music was exceptional and all the members are so talented and the dance floor was full all night long! Don’t even think about it, book them ASAP!

Best band ever!

JD and the band were absolutely phenomenal from our first conversation all the way through my wedding reception. Their professionalism is unmatched. JD did a great job of keeping everything running smoothly and serving as a great MC to my wedding. Not to mention, they are FANTASTIC performers!!! All the vocals sounded great. The song they learned for my father/daughter dance sounded even better than the original recording. The guitar player Jordan could absolutely shred and truly is the boy-wonder. This is THE BAND to book for your wedding. I would give them 100 stars if I could. There’s no one better out there!

The best wedding band!

Top Tier Band was such an amazing band for our wedding. From the moment I submitted an inquiry, JD was communicative and responsive, and filled me in on every detail I would need to know. He replied so quickly, and also was in constant touch with my wedding planner leading up to the date. She remarked to me on how communicative Top Tier Band was compared to many other bands she’s worked with. The band offers different tiers based on how many pieces you’d like playing. They have a huge catalog of songs to choose from, and will also learn 2 songs for your special dances. They learned Ripple by The Grateful Dead for my dance with my dad, and it was so beautiful! They did such a great job! I wasn’t picky with our setlist, and asked them to just choose songs that would get the crowd dancing and singing and they didn’t disappoint!! They had people on the dance floor the entire night. They were professional and you could tell the whole band was happy to be there and give everyone a great show. I am so happy with my experience with Top Tier Band!

Dance floor was never empty

OMG! We have literally been singing the praises of Top Tier Band since my daughter’s wedding. They were absolutely wonderful. Once the dance floor was opened up after the mother/son and father/daughter dances the dance floor was never empty. All age groups at the reception enjoyed their music. They were also very accommodating with the timing of their breaks and providing background music. JD was wonderful to work with. The songs they learned at our request were performed flawlessly. They were also very willing to travel to Louisville from Nashville for the event. So many of our guest have dashed about what a great time they had because of the bands performance.

Amazing band

I could not recommend top tier more highly, they played for our wedding and were fantastic. Their song choices were amazing and all the musicians were incredibly talented. They got everyone on the dance floor, even my 90 and 88 year old grandparents! Our guests couldn’t stop raving that they were the best wedding band they had ever heard. They made our reception so fun and I would recommend them to anyone getting married and looking for a band. JD is also very professional and easy to work with.

Wedding Reception Live Music was AWESOME!

I can't thank JD and Top Tier Band enough for their incredible performance at our wedding. They were an absolute hit and received countless compliments from all the attendees. Their talent, energy, and ability to create a fantastic atmosphere made our special day even more memorable.
From the moment they started playing the reception, Top Tier Band had everyone on their feet. Their song selection was spot-on, and they knew exactly how to keep the crowd engaged and entertained. Awesome Band !!

We hired Top Tier for our daughter’s wedding reception in August. They were recommended to us by a band in Cincinnati that was not available the weekend that we needed them. Top Tier lived up to the recommendation and went far beyond our expectations. Communication and booking with the band was easy and seamless. JD is professional and friendly ! We booked the extra horn section and we were not disappointed!! The band was amazing and so much fun !! The dance floor was packed all night - Our guests loved the band and many asked for their contact information ! I would not hesitate to book them for your next event !! Hire them-absolutely amazing

If you're looking for a band that will have the guests dancing all night. Look no further. I can not recommend Top Tier band enough, and truly believe that the reason our wedding was so fun was because of them. The dance floor was full all night, and the guests gave rave reviews. I never even gave them a set list and they knocked it out of the park.

I'm not going to lie, I have a Jersey mother who comes from a big family with a lot of musically inclined people, and the band was one of her favorite parts of the wedding. They were so professional, so patient with me, and where very on top of everything.

Hire Top Tier, You Won’t Regret It!

We can’t say enough great things about JD and the entire Top Tier band! Our guests haven’t stop raving about how much fun they had and many have said “they were the best band at a wedding we’ve seen!” The dance floor was packed the entire night and we didn’t want the night to end. JD is very responsive and easy to plan with. He offered great recommendations throughout the planning process. Thank you, Top Tier for making our wedding memorable!!

Amazing band with fantastic energy!

We had an absolutely PHENOMENAL time with Top Tier Band at our wedding! They were nothing but professional and easy in organizing/contracting and were timely in their setup and day of plan. Best of all, my guests had an absolutely amazing time (I think the band did too!) and we kept the dance floor packed until the very last dance.

The best band ever!

Not only was JD super responsive and easy to work with before the wedding, the whole band was amazingly talented and got people dancing immediately! They have a very extensive song list already but they’ll also learn two songs just for you! Can’t recommend them enough, y’all need this band at your wedding!

Outstanding!!!

Since our first interaction with JD ( band manager) we knew it was going to be great ! Joyful person , flexible, ready to learn few new songs. Prompt to respond questions and the music and the whole band made our wedding day fun and enjoyable, from solo piano at cocktail hour to our special 1st and 2nd dances and making sure everyone wanted to dance all night !!!! Top Tier is an extremely talented, professional, super fun and energizing band!! I was so happy we hired them as our wedding band. They appealed to young and old alike. Had everyone on the floor dancing. The lead female singer was phenomenal.

Best Band Ever!

Top Tier was the wedding band of my wife and I's dreams - we highly recommend going with them for your wedding! From the second we contacted JD, he was professional, flexible, and had great communication from the initial consult meeting all the way through to the closing song at our wedding. I can't speak highly enough of how easy it was to work with JD and Top Tier, which helped calm our wedding planning nerves by a lot.

On the actual day, wow! My wife and I have been to many weddings these past 2 years and I can confidently say Top Tier is the best we've seen. The group does an outstanding job of feeling the party's energy and matching it with their set list and play style. One thing I really appreciated is that they went out of their way to make my wife and I truly feel like we were THE life of the party (including bringing us on stage impromptu to sing Don't Stop Believing which I will remember forever!).

If you want a band that will make the wedding of your dreams, Top Tier is THE band to book. Thank you Top Tier team and JD for making our wedding night so special!

Well pleased ;)

Our guests raved about 3 main things at our wedding: our venue, our food, and our BAND. On the front end, JD could NOT have been more helpful. We probably exchanged close to 30 emails leading up to the day of and JD was incredibly accommodating, prompted me for things to think through (talk about mental load relief), and was incredibly thorough. On the day of, they showed up early, were incredibly professional and talented. As I mentioned, our guests couldn't stop gushing over how much they loved our band choice. Their talent is undeniable but the comfort and confidence I had in JD leading up to the day was unparalleled. We loved Top Tier and would recommend them to anyone looking to get groovy on the dance floor ;)

The Best of the Best

I couldn't recommend Top Tier enough. JD was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. I knew we would be in great hands and we established a great relationship before the wedding day. Top Tier absolutely killed their performance and all of our guests raved about them! Every song was amazing and they even learned two songs at our request. JD and team helped us with our special surprise for our guests and kept our timeline moving as they emceed the whole reception as well. Top Tier is literally the best!!!

Absolutely wonderful communication with this crew!! They made the process seamless and stress free! I had no doubts of them being on time and providing an amazing show. Phenomenal!

Top Tier played at my destination wedding in Virginia. We chose to do the 5 piece band. JD was extremely responsive from the start and it continued up until the wedding. They were AMAZING from the first song onwards. Everyone is still talking about how much fun the wedding was. My husband even said there were times where he forgot it was a live band because they sounded so good and performed so well. I would 100% book them again!! They have an extensive song list and will even learn 2 songs for you. They truly made my wedding phenomenal!

Amazing at our wedding!

Top Tier Band played for our wedding and they were fabulous! They were very responsive throughout, from our first contact all the way up to the day of the wedding. The list of songs they know is extensive, and they even learned and performed two new songs for us. The set list they came up with and the pacing and ordering of songs was exactly what we wanted. They are great musicians and singers, and throughout the night we heard people remarking how great they sounded. They made the logistics of the wedding day super simple and from our perspective everything just magically happened, even when we had some last minute schedule changes and recorded music changes. You won't be disappointed!

Above and Beyond

Top Tier truly exceeded my expectations. As a former musician, I was highly impressed by every member of the band. The guitarist, drummer, bass player, saxaphonist, and singers were all very talented. They performed awesome renditions of our first dance, father daughter dance, and mother son dance. If you decide to hire them, know that you are in good hands.

Incredibly entertaining wedding band, they had the dance floor full all night. JD was extremely accommodating to our preferences and very easy to work with leading up to our big day. Unbelievably spectacular!

This Band has superb energy, vocals, interaction skills, instrumental talent, to name a few. They are easy to book, as communication was a breeze! They were on time for set up, and stayed true to everything we expressed to them. We could not ask for a more talented band to play at our Reception. Our 120 guests were so delighted and made comment all evening. We HIGHLY recommend them!! Book them!! You won’t regret it!!!

Fantastic and FUN!

Hiring the Top Tier Band for our wedding reception was one of the best things I could have done! J.D. is very responsive with emails and extremely professional. He and his band play the best music from all different genres! They will even learn your first dance songs for you if you want them to. Before our ceremony, JD showed up and played recorded processional music before the ceremony and then recorded ceremony music during our cocktail hour. During our dinner they started to play live, mellow music and then played all the hit beats and got so many people on the dance floor! They also have the services to play jazz music or string quartet during the ceremony and cocktail hours as well. J.D. was also our emcee the whole night and was on time with all of the announcements and introductions during our ceremony. So many people told me that they were a great band! They have all of their own lighting as well! They were a hidden little gem that I found and i'm so glad I took the time to research several bands before making my decision because the services they provide exceeded my expectations! Definitely worth it to spend a little extra if you can and if you want live music at your wedding! HIGHLY recommend Top Tier! You won't' be disappointed!!--The Corlews =)

Best experience ever!

We are SO happy that we booked Top Tier for our wedding. They were easy to communicate with, happily cooperated with all our wedding desires/requires, and put on a great show! We knew we wanted Top Tier to be the band that all of our guests danced the night aways to but we did not want an over the top emcee and they were perfect!! The were flexible with song requests and we were even able to book them after the band time ended to "DJ" for an hour at the end of the ceremony. This was perfect because we were torn between using a band or DJ. Having a DJ for the last hour was a great decision because, by then, the party had really livened up and a DJ really took things to the next level.

The best wedding band

This band did a great job providing our wedding with a great time. The entire playlist fit perfectly with the stages of the night. Subtle music during the first part of the night followed by your classic hits when the night got going. Would hire everytime

Absolutely Fabulous

We hired Top Tier Band for our Son's Wedding and I can't Say Enough good things about them! Delightful to work with, enormous song list, you can add musicians with different instruments (we added saxophone) and awesome sounding band. Easily to get people on the dance floor! Wedding Reception

Top Tier Band was the best band we could have chosen for our wedding! JD is very prompt with his responses, and he did such a wonderful job maintaining the flow of the reception. They were very professional, which did not go unnoticed. We received so many compliments from our guests. They played very appropriate music with a good volume level throughout cocktail hour/ dinner so people could engage in conversation. The BEST Wedding Band

My family and fiance were hesitant to choose a band vs. DJ for our wedding in December 2021, but I was able to persuade them on Top Tier after another friends wedding. They were amazing! They do such a great job of playing to the crowd and getting everyone (teens to grandmas) on the dance floor. They also learned two songs for us that really made our day that much more special!

My sister and I both hired this band for our weddings and they knocked it out of the park both times!!! Such an incredible and talented band. They play fun and amazing music but more than that, they are so easy to work with. I could always get in contact with someone if I had questions or wanted to discuss anything at all. Great band! Hire them!

I cannot say enough good things about Top Tier Band. They were class acts, a pleasure to work with from the beginning and SO talented. Everyone is still raving about the "band at our wedding." Have them perform was without a doubt a huge highlight of our big day. JD's emcee skills were also amazing which created a solid flow for our reception. He was super communicative and responded quickly throughout my entire engagement when I sent him question after question. They learned two songs for us for a couple of the dances. Top Tier Wedding

JD and Top Tier Band were an absolute blast to have at our wedding. We had just relocated, and didn't have a real great idea of what vendors to look for to play at our wedding. My wife wanted a band, and I was initially opposed to idea. But thank goodness she won! The songs, the performance, the responsiveness, and everything else was amazing. We had the time of our lives and our wedding was rocking because of Top Tier. So blessed, and would hire them again immediately for any other event.

My husband and I booked Top Tier for our wedding and it was by far, one of the best decisions we made. They are incredible. Not only is their music absolute perfection (and they play numerous genres), they were extremely responsive (I can’t emphasize how important this is when planning a wedding), flexible, and honestly, just nice people. I truly enjoyed working with them. They did a great job of selecting music to match the mood of our guests and I can’t tell you how many compliments I received about them. Book Top Tier. Wonderful wedding and party band!

Father-In-Law Band Choice for STL Wedding

Wedding Day Game Changer!

My fiancé and I tossed around the idea of a live band and were quite hesitant at first. Having Top Tier Band at our wedding was an absolute GAME CHANGER. At our brunch the following morning, every single person mentioned the live band being the highlight of the night. Even their mic check was amazing! They performed our first dance song live and it really made it all more special. Then they interacted with the crowd and everyone absolutely loved it. While searching for a band, I made it evident the need for a female singer and Abby really outdid herself! Thank you so much for being a part of our day and playing music from all genres and years. We had an 8-pc band and they were all phenomenal!

So much fun!

We absolutely loved having Top Tier play at our wedding. They had people out dancing the entire night!! We received so many compliments on our music. They made our reception unforgettable!! I still have people texting me asking for their information!

Friends are STILL raving about Top Tier

Top Tier was an incredible band for our wedding in May! I cannot recommend them enough - super professional, unbelievably talented, and perfectly balanced from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing the night away - they created the perfect environment for our wedding. We wanted an old-school vibe and they DELIVERED! JD was super helpful in creating a song list tailored to our event and style, and the band even learned a new song for our first dance. Our guests RAVED all night about the 7-piece band, and Top Tier got the full crowd up and dancing the night away. I'm still getting notes from friends and family talking about how incredible Top Tier was! You won't regret booking this group!

Great live band for a wedding or other event

Started searching for wedding bands with a wide variety of a playlist, came across Top Teir and was very impressed with the songs I heard and the range of 50/60s to modern hits.

Must Have Wedding Band

Top Tier was an excellent choice

Top Tier was an outstanding choice for my daughter's wedding. The Band was extremely flexible and responsive, as the reception went through various changes. Top Tier played a repertoire that offered everything from contemporary to the classics, and had all the guests and wedding party dancing the entire time. The band was extremely engaged during the entire reception.

Best Band in Nashville

There is literally no one better out there than Top Tier Band. We had them play for our wedding and they were the number one compliment received all night. Not only are they amazingly talented, they are simply some of the nicest and most down-to-Earth people I have worked with. I also had the pleasure to hear them play in a non-wedding related setting and they were just as great, so consider hiring them regardless of your event type. You won't be disappointed!

JD is a real pro - great to communicate with and made the whole process easy on us. We added the horn section which brought some great energy. Extraordinary. My guests are still raving.

Top Tier had very high standards to live up to for our wedding. They over-delivered.

My #1 priority was to have a great band. We bought their largest, most expensive package (not cheap, cost more than our venue) and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

First, we were able to hand-pick our playlist from a VERY extensive list of songs. They really listened to our suggestions, too. Every song they played was a favorite of ours!

Secondly, I will admit, my fiance and I required A LOT of communication back and forth about the stage, the songs, the lights, etc. If JD ever got annoyed, we could never tell. We were always met with friendliness and accommodation.

And of course, lastly... my guests danced all night. In fact, I danced myself to literally every song. I thought my legs would fall off the next day- and I'm a long distance runner! They sounded spectacular. My guests are still raving about how talented they were.

My only very minor piece of feedback is that the emcee pronounced my last name incorrectly. Small potatoes.

Hire them. You will be over the moon.

One of the first things I did after getting engaged was book Top Tier Band! I knew I wanted a live band and after doing a lot of research and listening to demos, I decided Top Tier Band was the one! We had so much fun having them play at our wedding. They definitely kept the party going!

JD was great to work with throughout the planning process. He was very responsive to my millions of questions and got back to me promptly. He also acted as emcee and did a wonderful job keeping us on schedule.

Awesome Band!!

They sounded great on-line and they had great reviews, so we went with them. But, after the ceremony and I had a chance to hear them, they soooo exceeded my expectations, which is a really A hard thing to do. The vocals, by everyone was surprising. They can do songs and sound just like the original. I can't say enough about them. All of my guest were saying they wanted a do over, so we could start over and enjoy the band. I would 100% hire them again. If you are looking for an amazing band. THEY ARE IT! :) THANK YOU TOP TIER!

Guests are still talking about the band

One of the first decisions you make as you are planning your wedding is Band or DJ? For us, it was a band all the way, and it really does make your wedding go from a wedding to a WEDDING! We ended up booking Top Tier's five piece band, and our guests are STILL talking about how this was a wedding unlike any other they've been to because of the band! Top Tier knows exactly how to get the party started - their talent, their song choices, their energy are all so on point and bring the perfect vibe for you and your guests. Even my dad got out on the dance floor which is a sight I never thought I'd see! So many of our guests were still on the dance floor for the last song, if I can give any advice, it's to book these guys for as long as you can get them!!! Thank you Top Tier!

Where do I start?

From the beginning to the end Top Tier was everything we could’ve imagined and more. JD was extremely professional, responsive and accommodating as a contact so that we never had to feel stressed or concerned they wouldn’t deliver what we hoped they would...Not going to lie, I hyped up the band/dance floor to everyone I knew that was coming and they blew the hype out of the water. My only regret was that the reception had to end and they had to head home!! Can’t wait to see which one of my friend brings them back into the fold in the future and would honestly say if you’re looking for bands then look no further!!!!

Jd was amazing!

JD was our wedding DJ and he was absolutely amazing. We barely knew what style of music we wanted and he really listened to us and gave us options for the whole night. It was perfect, he really captured the feel that we were looking for. I had a lot of out of country guests who started requesting hard to find foreign music and he was able to go with the flow and find it all! No one left the dance floor. I could not be happier with our choice and would recommend Top Tier Band to anyone! If our venue was larger, we definitely would have gotten the live music!

Absolutely fantastic!

Top Tier Band was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They were hired early on in the process, and seemed to check in at great times to be engaged with me during the planning process. The event went off without a hitch and I never had to worry about my guests having fun because the band was that good! The band played for us slowly during dinner, and then got the party started afterwards. I would without a doubt hire them again for any events I have planned in Nashville. We loved y'all!

Dance floor was packed all night!

We loved using Top Tier Band for our wedding reception! JD was super responsive during the months leading up to the wedding and learned a new song that we requested for our first dance. Awesome band

Top Tier Band was so much fun at our reception! They have an awesome variety of music to choose from (oldies, country, 2000s, Pop, you name it!). We chose the 8 piece band with the horn selection and they sounded awesome! The dance floor was packed all night long and everyone is still talking about how good the music was and how much fun the band was. I even had people comment on how sore they were the next day from dancing so much hahaha! JD is AWESOME and so much fun to work with. Everything went so smoothly (first dance, introductions, etc.). He is super responsive and so accommodating to work with! We also had them do our ceremony music and cocktail hour music too and it was so classy and elegant. Highly recommend!!

Best Band Ever

Top Tier was amazing for our October 2017 wedding on Halloween weekend in Memphis. I hate that it has taken me so long to write a review! They were very responsive and even learned the Hocus Pocus movie version of "I Put a Spell on You" for the last song of the night. I'm sure that was a strange request but I've always loved that movie and since our wedding fell around Halloween, I was so excited!! I would highly recommend them to anyone. “What a great band!” That is what I heard over and over from guests after the wedding. Top Tier Band was not only played great music they kept the dance going. JD was so easy to work with, very professional, friendly, and delivered what we wanted. I cannot adequately express my gratitude for how much we appreciated and enjoyed Top Tier Band. We could not have chosen a better wedding band for our wedding ceremony and reception. JD and his band are not only are fabulous musicians, but are truly good people. They want your day to be perfect and they certainly do more than their part to make that happen. JD is incredibly responsive and will answer your questions kindly and promptly (no matter how wedding-stress induced they may be). We had our ceremony in a park nearby the reception venue and the guitar prelude selection was perfect. JD lets you customize their set list and will even give advice with logistics. I was super appreciative for the help! At the reception, they kept the festivities flowing. From the bridal party introductions, to the toasts, to the beautiful dinner music, they were the glue between the moments. Guests were even dancing while waiting in line for food! It didn't end there! Our guests stayed on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. When Top Tier finished their "last song", shouts of "ONE MORE SONG" rang out and the band didn't disappoint. They finished the night with "Don't Stop Believin'" and both the band and our guests rocked out. It was amazing.
I would also like to make a special shout out. This just shows how amazing these people are. I had completely overlooked the info sheet I gave JD. I didn't put down a song that my parents were going to dance to. It was a special request for their 30th wedding anniversary. They had practiced for a whole year so it meant a lot to them and to me. Understandably, JD didn't have the song. Who has "Papa Loves Mambo" on their device? No one. JD was so calm and collected when I ran up in a panic in an attempt to fix my mistake. JD was so reassuring, in what I'm sure was a frustrating situation, and found the song and MADE IT HAPPEN! Then played a perfect cover of my parents' wedding song "Happy Together". I can't thank them enough. I will recommend Top Tier to anyone looking for an event band!

Out of all of our vendors for the wedding, Top Tier was one of the easiest and most responsive to work with! I initially reached out to JD during our planning and he quickly responded with their price list and the different options they could provide. After getting caught up in other planning activities, JD emailed US to see if we were still interested as they had another request for the same day. We booked them immediately and are so glad we did! During the remainder of the planning process leading up to the wedding, JD made time to chat with us and get a feel for our ceremony and discuss the details that make things the day of so easy.

When it came to the day of, the band was so much fun! We absolutely loved that they could play jazz during dinner and then transition to more dance oriented tunes after. Everyone that came to the wedding was quick to say how good and how much fun the band was. They put music on during their set breaks, which we didn't even ask for, showing their dedication to providing a great experience. Both the singer and JD himself would wander out onto the dance floor during songs, which the crowd loved! We had a small contingent that danced until the very end, and it was definitely in part due to the great sound, energy and atmosphere Top Tier brings to their music.

Top Tier is the kind of vendor you WANT to work with; they are responsive, know what they're doing, and come prepared to put on a great show. Our only regret is not being able to afford the 6 or 8 piece!

We loved having Top Tier Band play at our wedding reception at Belle Meade Plantation! We also had their related company - Top Tier Events as our month-of wedding coordinating and can't recommend both companies highly enough! Throughout the entire process, JD (the band leader and MC) was very easy to communicate with. JD also attended all of the planning meetings we had with Top Tier Events which was so helpful, he was able to weigh in from the band/MC/audio perspective. We also rented a wireless microphone set up from Top Tier Band for our officiant (based on JD's recommendation because it was an outdoor ceremony). The reception went exactly to plan, and all of our guests had a great time on the dance floor thanks to the wonderful music Top Tier Band played!

Top Tier was AWESOME at my wedding party! They bring a high energy, they have great song selections covering multiple genres, and the musicians are super talented! They also bring a professional attitude and an ability to learn new songs for your specific event if requested ahead of time. I give them two thumbs up and five stars! I recommend them for anyone looking for a solid and entertaining band.

My husband, our families and I had the time of our lives dancing the night away with the Top Tier Band. They accommodated a number of special requests, including allowing me to play keyboard and my dad to sing "Twist and Shout." Because of them, it was the most fun and memorable reception I could have asked for. JD is organized and responsive throughout the process. You can't go wrong with Top Tier!

You guys rock! Our wedding experience with Top Tier couldn't have been better. They were helpful with music selections and kept the dance floor rocking all night. We got so many compliments from guests on them. Highly recommended!

Top Tier performed at our wedding in May of 2018. They were great! We were getting compliments on our band choice while sitting at dinner before they'd even begun the real show. JD & company did a great job of reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor all night through the song selections. We couldn't have been more pleased with how the night went!

I'll also add that the process of booking, planning, and everything else that comes along with arranging for a vendor to be at your wedding went very smoothly. They were very responsive, reached out to us for any information they needed, and were always professional--which are qualities you need in a vendor with all the different "to-do" items on a wedding planning list.

Looking for the right band to send everyone home with a smile? Stop looking and set your date around The Top Tier Band's availability. It's the morning after and I still have visions of our bride and groom playing keyboards with the band to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'." There only mistake was inviting me to front them for "Twist and Shout." JD is very responsive and professional and I'd do it all over again. Thanks Top Tier!

Top Tier is without a doubt the best wedding band out there! I have had families and friends, both young and old, reach out to me to tell me how fantastic our band was. Our dance floor was hopping all night long, they were so engaging and fun, and even let me play the drums... and the tambourines... and even steal the mic a few times. Needless to say it was the best night of my life and Top Tier was top notch. I would recommend them over and over again!!!

I hired Top Tier to perform at my son's wedding on November 17, 2017. This band is fantastic - not only are they great musicians but they were professional, reliable and a ton of fun. JD also Emceed and made sure the evening progressed per our wishes. Our guest did not leave the dance floor the entire evening. Just book them - you will not be disappointed.

Top Tier is a Top Notch super fund band!!! JD was amazing and so easy to work with. Whenever I had questions he was quick to respond and super accomodating! I absolutely loved the music the night of my wedding and kept getting so many compliments throughout the night from my guests saying "I love this band". I highly recommend Top Tier if you are looking to have a fun time for you and your guest!!!!!!

We had such a great experience working with Top Tier! They were always quick to respond and easy to work with before the wedding. At the wedding, they were so much fun and we got so many compliments from our wedding guests! Would definitely recommend!
