My daughter and her fiancé were having trouble moving forward, with how overwhelming planning a wedding can be. Bringing Karen in was the answer. Her consultation is so thorough, she really gets to know you and brings in her experience to help you more clearly define your vision. Literally, the wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. As a destination wedding, Karen put in additional work which isn’t the norm in Maryland. She is in constant contact with vendors. One of my definitive moments is when I was checking on some detail and she said ‘you go on and enjoy yourself, I’ll take care of it’- which is exactly what you expect and want of a wedding planner! Even if it was something not specifically discussed, she has worked with you so well, she knows exactly what you want 😊 highly recommend -

Working with Breanna was fantastic! As an anxious bride, she was available, responsive, and had ideas and advice for every question we had. The day of could not have gone more smoothly - we were ahead of schedule and there were no hiccups. Breanna did a fantastic job making sure everything went according to plan and we had a fantastic evening! -

I am so glad I hired TSWP! From my first phone call with Karen, I knew immediately that she knew what she was doing and felt so confident in moving forward with our decision to hire her! She helped find that last vendor or two and was great to bounce ideas off of. She was super helpful the last few weeks leading up to the wedding, taking the lead in helping to create a timeline, contacting and confirming vendors. She and Breanna were so helpful with setting out our items like our card box, place cards, signs and some decor. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Thank you ladies!! -

We had the pleasure of using Top Shelf as our wedding planner. More importantly, we were paired with Ms. Kim Schnell. Kim was wonderful, as she assuaged our wedding anxieties with her presence. Kim was organized and quick to respond. On our big day, Kim was there at every step. We had a beautiful wedding, largely due to Kim's help. -

Highly recommend TSWP!
Karen and Brittany are knowledgeable and highly experienced wedding planners. They provided great support and advise leading up to our wedding and listened to what we wanted. On the day of the wedding Brittany was amazing, she was a crutch for me and took the reins which allowed me to relax and enjoy the day. She had the vendors and wedding party well organized and on time. She went out of her way to make everything perfect. I highly recommend TSWP! -

Karen and her wedding coordinator, Brittany, were OUTSTANDING. At a time when we needed the added support on my daughter's wedding day, they came through beyond our expectations. We had Brittany as our wedding planner for our wedding this past weekend. I cannot even find enough kind and gracious words to describe our experience. She hit it out of the park in every aspect. She made everything seem effortless and took the stresses out of every situation. She was kind, fun, prepared, and knowledgeable with everything “wedding”. She made sure everything we wanted for our big day was perfect. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. If you’re looking for a wedding planner, look no further. Made things so much less stressful!
Karen and Kim were fantastic and made our day flow with ease, less stress, and did an amazing job with the decor! They were flexible with all our changes due to covid and venue changes! Would hire them again in a heartbeat. -

We were lucky to have Karen as our Wedding Planner; she is very professional and on top of things.
communication with her was really easy, comforted us from day one that everything will go exactly as we planned for, but what stood out for us was her ability to assure both of us and get everything done as both my wife and I wanted, take control of things ( when needed), and she stayed on top of items from start; to finish during the prepping time! Karen was also perfect on the day of the wedding. We didn't feel any need to worry about anything, even when our plans changed because of unexpected rain. She came up with solutions and options that made everything go smoother.. she is a warm, fun, and very likable person. Highly recommended, and it was a pleasure having her at our wedding -

Karen was incredibly helpful in making our wedding day very special! We needed a fairly quick turnaround and Karen was able to successfully navigate all the moving parts to create a phenomenal experience. Her staff was well-prepared and knowledgeable. She helped us with the planning up until 4 months before our wedding. The month before the wedding she missed or backed out of 3 planned meetings. I ended up creating the timeline and meeting with the vendors independently. Our photographer pointed out that she didn’t have the correct day for our rehearsal despite several emails sent updating everyone about the rehearsal. The day of the wedding was chaotic because she was not as involved with the planning the month before the wedding. She was frustrated with and yelled at my dad and the groomsmen because things were chaotic to her. The centerpieces were fixed by my sister because they consisted of twigs and random leaves from the garland. It looked like the wind blew debris on the table. There weren’t enough table settings for people on the table. When my sister pointed it out, it was not received well. Karen is a wonderful person and was helpful with handling some family drama and orchestrating our rehearsal. However, I am writing this review because I don’t feel like I fully received a service I paid for and wished I had saved the money for something else.
