Bottom of the Barrel
I contacted this business for information and asked to save a date until I could make a final decision. Called back a week later at 10 ish am and owners cell phone died. Not charged on a monday morning? Then the date asked to save was not. I was willing to change my date and gave a deposit. 2 hrs later my fiance and I determined that we could not change our date. I called back and cancelled and was told I would get my deposit refunded. After 3 text polite messages, 2 voicemails and 3 emails, I received no response and no refund. Almost a month now and am forced to pursue this with my bank. Lack of proper business ettiquette, dodging my requests for a refund is essentially stealing for no services rendered. I found a better, well known caterer for half the cost, more options and is reputable. Allowing me customize my menu. Topshelf is in appropiately named. Its more accurate as "Bottom of the Barrel". I am not in the habit of posting bad reviews, but this situation could have been avoided by just giving me my refund. Things happen and its not personal. I wish this whole matter was just handled correctly with no hard feelings.
Buyer BEWARE! Poor business practices!
