Quick to respond! Professional!

Kelly was amazing to work with. Definitely knows what was popping for the Hmong community. I thought the music uploading was very limited, but otherwise, he was flexible enough to work with my excel sheet full of music. He also was a very great MC along with DJ-ing the dance music. Definitely would recommend to friends. Top Choice sound was a vendor that came along with our event center package.

Light in dark times.

Dan ws very helpful during the beginning phases of the planning. Then covid hit, he helped me with any questions I had, and made sure our day was how we wanted it. Kelly helped plan the day, and gave his input to help make it perfect (I was clueless on good songs for different parts of the night). Sam kept us entertained and played music to get us on the dance floor. He took requests, and was super understanding when we wanted to shut down a little early (because most people had left). Overall fantastic experience. I would definitely use them again!

Amazing DJ!

We couldn't be happier after choosing Top Choice Sound to DJ at our wedding. Kelly Jordan was the perfect person for the job and he made sure everything happened according to our timeline and most importantly he made sure everyone was having fun. He even had an encore at the end of the night! Thank you Kelly and Dan!

Kelly was wonderful throughout the process!

Kelly did an amazing job of listening to our preferences and allowing for requests throughout the wedding event. He was prompt in all responses and made everything seamless throughout the process! I have already recommended him to my cousin, getting married in August, and would be happy to continue recommending him for additional weddings and events!

Kelly Jordan with TopChoice sound did a phenomenal job. Planning a wedding during 2020 was stressful and we had a lot of last minute changes. Kelly was great and accommodated all of our changes with ease. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Best Day Ever!

Kelly was awesome! Everyone complimented, even the event staff! As someone who works in the wedding industry part time, I know how a DJ makes the party! Kelly did an amazing job and kept people on the dance floor all night. He knew his audience and played tracks that suited all guests, while accommodating the bride and grooms requests! Thank you Kelly!!!!

The D.J. that gets the dance floor going!

Kelly was awesome to work with! He went above and beyond in every aspect! When we first reached out, he was very responsive to our every question. While in the planning process, I asked Kelly to make a mix of several songs for me and my dad to perform our father-daughter dance to. Kelly went above and beyond! He made sure the mix was exactly what I wanted and the music flowed together. At the wedding reception, he made sure the dance floor was going the whole night. Kelly had the perfect mix of music. Many of out guest commented how Kelly was the best wedding D.J. they have heard. I would highly recommend Kelly! My wedding would not have been the same without him.

Would highly recommend!

Kelly and Dan were incredible to work with. Super friendly and charismatic during the wedding planning process and even more so on the big day! Kelly kept our typically quiet family out on the dance floor the entire night which is not any easy task! We would DEFINITELY recommend them to our friends and family along with anyone else looking for an awesome DJ!

Great music, very attentive, professional

Kelly was great! He went above and beyond to make sure my processional music was exactly the way I wanted. The entire day he was checking in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly, made sure songs requests were approved by us before playing them. He always played songs so keep people on the dance floor and he is always dancing to the songs too to keep the right vibe going! Would highly recommend to friends.

Danced the night away!

We had DJ Kelly and he was amazing. We had an out door dance floor and 250 guest for our June wedding and he had it packed all night. He was able to keep everyone from the little kids to our grandparents out there dancing all night till the venue shut us down. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I was far from a bridezilla and just wanted our guest to have a great time. He was able to play all the right songs and people are still talking about our dance and how much fun they had months later. Thanks for an amazing night!

Great experience

Our experience with Top Choice sound was great. They did have a little mix up and double booked themselves so instead of having DJ Jordan Kelly we had Sasha. Everything still went very smooth and they were very apologetic for the mistake. I would recommend them to anyone.

The DJ made the night!

Everyone loved the music we played and Kelly really kept the party going all night long! It was so much fun and he had the perfect mix that totally sums up our crazy combo of music we love!

Incredible Experience!

Wow! What more can I say about Summit Hill Studios.

We worked with Kelly for the most part, as he was the DJ for our wedding. Dan was also a pleasure to work with through our limited interactions.

Kelly did the music for our ceremony and reception without a single issue or surprise. He brought a trainee for our big day, and it's safe to say she's learning from the best. I don't know if she had much hands-on training that day, but she was great if she did!

Unlike some of the OTHER large DJ services, it was awesome to know who our wedding DJ would be when we signed the contract with Summit Hill Studios. We met with Kelly prior to signing and knew right away that we wanted him to be the one at our wedding, so we made our deposit and signed the contract that same night.

The customer portal was incredibly user friendly, and it's really great to be able to see our music plans in writing. We were able to chip away at the details and choose specific songs as we pleased for every moment. About a week before the wedding we hopped on the phone with Kelly, pulled up the client portal, and ran through everything.

Kelly was such a joy to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for and event DJ.

DJ Kelly was amazing!

We chose Top Choice Sound based on the preferred vendor list at our venue (Lowertown Event Center) and I can’t recommend them highly enough! We had Kelly as our DJ and we are so happy that we did! He was very communicative and available via phone and email leading up to the wedding, and was timely, organized and professional on the day of the wedding. We had a few things that needed to be changed around with the timeline throughout the evening, and he was so adaptable in making announcements and adjusting to the changes in the schedule. He played music for both our ceremony and reception and did an incredible job! He made sure the grand entrance was very organized by talking to the wedding party beforehand, and made sure to talk directly to our parents and maid of honor to let them know where/when to be for first dances. I really appreciated that he went above and beyond with details like this, it definitely helped ease any stress. At the reception, he did a fantastic job of reading the crowd, judging which requests to take and keeping the dance floor completely packed all night which was one of the things about our wedding that we loved most. We even ended up having two last songs because the crowd wasn’t ready for the party to end yet! We seriously can’t recommend Kelly highly enough- thank you again!

Dj kelly is amazing!

We had the pleasure of having Kelly DJ our wedding- he was nothing short of fabulous! He was so professional and fun throughout the entire night! I was not very prepared and Kelly made me so calm and just said he would handle it, and he handled it amazingly! He did my ceremony music at an offsite location and our reception. He kept everyone dancing and the party going- I believe we had 2 "last songs" because the demand was so high. I have nothing but great things to say about Kelly! I will be using him in the future for any other DJ needs and will be telling all my "to be married" friends to hire him!

Best Choice

We are sooo happy we chose to go with Kelly from Top Choice Sound. The first impression we got from him was what truly sold us. We had no expectations of finding a Dj at the wedding fair, but then we met Kelly. My biggest concern about picking a DJ was sound quality and the ability to do our ceremony if we didnt have power. Kelly was the only DJ that day that had a solid response. I am a teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and work with sound equipment all the time. I wanted to make sure all of our guests would be able to hear the ceremony which is not always the case with outdoor ceremonies. The day of the wedding the sound was perfect. The clarity and volume was appropriate and everything ran smoothly. Leading up to the wedding my fiance and I had a lengthy phone conversation with Kelly talking about timeline, music choices etc. He was 100% on the same page with us. The ceremony music was perfect. The day of, I barely had to talk with him which was good because I was off taking pictures. He faded songs out and new songs in so smoothly. Everyone gave us so many compliments on our ceremony music. Then the reception started. He played music during social hour, did our grand entrance and announcements. Everything came together nicely. When the dance started the music was perfect. He played songs that kept people on the dance floor and the transitions were smooth that there was no stop in music between songs. If a song came on that killed the dance floor he quickly mixed in a new song that brought people back out. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. So many compliments and lots of happy dancers. I think honestly though.. the fact that he made everything so stress free was the greatest part. His experience with music and customer service really shined. Thanks Kelly for such a wonderful time!

I regret nothing about booking Top Choice Sound for our wedding! Dan was very helpful and professional in the booking stage, making sure we got exactly what we wanted, when we wanted it. Kelly did an amazing job not only serving as DJ for the wedding but also providing the sound and set-up for the ceremony as well! He had an excellent playlist of songs for the reception but also made sure that all of our special requests were honored. The quality of sound from the microphones as well as the music was excellent and everything went off without a hitch! So many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding to which they had ever been! Both of these gentlemen were very courteous and timely in response to both email and phone calls. Two thumbs way up!

Dan and Kelly are FANTASTIC! My company has used Top Choice Sound for the last 7 years for an annual Twin Cities fundraising event that draws over 600 attendees. The mix of music they play appeals to the ages of all our participants. They are professional, prompt and really go above and beyond! I would HIGHLY recommend them for any event or wedding.

Kelly with Top Choice DJ was a dream to work with. He was extremely organized leading up to the wedding and responsive to all of our requests. He ran our ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception. All of our guests commented on how well Kelly could read the crowd while he was DJing and he kept the party going until the very end. The sign of an amazing party is everyone staying until the end of the night and Kelly made sure that happened by playing music that all age groups could enjoy. We got married over a month ago and I still have people tell me how much fun they had and how great Kelly is! I was told while planning my wedding the music makes the party.... I am so glad we chose Kelly to be our DJ! My husband and I had searched long and hard for a DJ because that was very important to us. Throughout the decision process, Top Choice DJ stood out amongst other DJs. Kelly was genuine and he wanted to help make our wedding exactly what we wanted. He loves what he does, and he loves to help the bride and groom have the best night. He was very easy to talk to and very responsive. We texted him songs the night before and the day of the wedding, and he made them happen. At the wedding he was so full of energy and a lot of fun that it definitely made a difference. Many people have complemented how great our DJ was, and how fun the wedding was. I did't stop dancing all night and that is what I wanted. Overall, I am so glad we chose Top Choice DJ, and I highly recommend him for anyone looking for an amazing DJ.

Kelly Jordan is amazing! Many of our wedding guests said that we had the most fun wedding of the year just because of him! Being that I am in that wedding stage of life right now, I attended about 7 or 8 weddings this year, and I don't think any of the DJ's held a candle to the dance party we had going on all night long. He was also incredibly flexible with last minute changes and worked so well with our other vendors. Our bridal party was even impressed that he didn't mispronounce anyone's name!

WOW- I had the opportunity to work with Kelly this past weekend. My client had hired them and it was my first time to work with him. When we went shopping for DJ s for the wedding, we had no idea what to look for. We interviewed numerous companies and none of them seemed to be a good fit for our idea of what our wedding should be, or that were compatible with our personality types. When we met Kelly with Top choice DJ Services, it was a breath of fresh air. His courtesy and professionalism made him a pleasure to work with. If asked to use one word to describe our experience with Kelly, It would be Phenomenal. Even then, it doesn't do it justice. Kelly was Awesome!!! Not only did he play all the right things at all the right times, he played with the crowd, danced with the music, and really got into the spirit of it. He made our perfect event complete. I would definitely recommend Kelly for any event. Point of fact, we will look forward to working with him in the future. I highly recommend Kelly with Top Choice DJ Services. Kelly was the best choice we could have made for a DJ! He had my whole family up dancing! The American Standards we chose for dinner music was perfect too. He was flexible with prior planning as well as day -of adjustments and was a better coordinator than the venue's day-of coordinator.

Jorge was wonderful. From the first phone call to his follow up email less than an hr later, I knew we were hiring the right person. He went out of his way to find authentic music from Chile and add it to our songlist. Jorge was bilingual and helped with translation for our guests and kept everything going smoothly.

Top choice is a top choice and competitively less expensive than others I spoke to. Your dj is the MC of your day, go with Top Choice.

My now wife and I had our wedding and were lucky enough to get Kelly as our DJ. The first thing that happened when I contacted Top Choice Dj, I was told I would receive a call from Kelly when he was free. I was contacted almost immediately. Kelly and I talked for almost 45 minutes as he got to know what we wanted for our wedding. He also got a sense of our style by asking all the right questions. My wife and I did NOT use a wedding planner so we were kind of in the dark with what to except, this is where Kelly went above and beyond in my opinion. He provided us with a little timeline sheet that really broke everything down perfectly for our wedding. Kelly kept in contact with me via email. If I had a question he answered immediately. He truly worked with us perfectly. I felt bad always asking him questions but he didn't hesitate or complain at all. He was always willing to help to make our day perfect. The day of the wedding he showed up extremely early to get set up and get any final details sorted out. We had a weird set list of music that he made work. He wasn't annoying on the microphone, he kept people dancing, he was the reason our wedding was so amazing. There were a few small hiccups on our end of the wedding (when aren't there problems at weddings) , but Kelly rolled with it and made it work. Overall I wouldn't have asked for a better DJ.

Jorge did an amazing job at my wedding!!! He was in constant contact with me and my wife at all times; and whenever we had changes that we wanted made, he went above and beyond to make it happen.

My wedding consisted of a lot of different ethic groups and backgrounds; and Jorge did an excellent job with playing all types of music and keeping everyone involved. You will not find a better DJ to perform at your wedding; especially a DJ who has this much professionalism in his manner.

Thanks a million Jorge for doing such an amazing job at my wedding, and making sure me and my bride were taken care of at all times!!!!

This DJ did a fantanstic job with the mix of music. Prior to the event he met with the wedding party to finalize all of the details. Very professional and my son's wedding was a success.

Wow! My husband and I could not be more satisfied with KELLY from Top Choice DJ's! We love to dance and that's exactly what we did all night long with our wedding guests! Kelly really created the party and played a variety of music. Not only was everyone raving to us about his musical selections after the wedding, but our guests also complimented his outgoing personality and humor! We had a "cake in the face" competition that Kelly really hyped up and it yielded awesome participation! I cannot express how impressed we were with Kelly. We are from Houston and were so excited when Kelly surprised us with a special mix! It really speaks to his attention to detail and desire to make sure his clients are happy. Basically, If you are looking for a professional and passionate DJ who can keep the crowd on their feet the entire night, give Kelly a call!

Kelly from "Top Choice DJ Service" was great!! He was professional, he took time to listen to what our needs were for our wedding, and had a great and easy-to-use system for us to request which songs we wanted played at the wedding. We will definitely go with Kelly for the next time we need a DJ. Our dance floor was packed all night long with family and friends that were dancing their hearts out. A DJ can make or break a party, but Kelly definitely took care of the ambiance.

I should add that he works for 93.3 in Austin, the only radio station (other than NPR) worth listening to.

Jorge was amazing! He was able to take a mix crowd of folks (old school rancheros, merengue/cumbia lovers, indie rockers) and get them all on the dance floor for the entire time. The playlist was amazing and couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Not only that, but he was able to make the bilingual crowd feel comfortable as he did all the announcements in Spanish and English.

Jorge was a complete professional and he really impressed me with his preparedness. Even before we had signed the contract, Jorge had already begun investigating/listening to cumbia/merengue music that was popular in El Salvador (my family's home country) to make sure he played the right music. This was about a year before the wedding and that, to me, was amazing. Throughout the planning period, Jorge kept in touched and asked how things were going and if we needed anything. Any changes made, he followed-up with us. A few days before the wedding, Jorge was really active with us and made sure he calmed any nerves and any concerns we had. In addition, he showed up two hours early to set up just to make sure that everything went as planned. He was absolutely great.

There are no words to describe how amazing Jorge did at the wedding! Everyone, from my norteno dancing family to my 80s loving people, was on the dance floor and was in love with the music. I am so glad we got him! He did an amazing job!

I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience with Top Choice DJ services! Jorge Garza did such an amazing job at our wedding. I hired Kelly due to listening to him on the radio every morning and I just knew he would do a great job. Though out our wedding and the day after the one major comment we recieved from our guest was that our DJ was on point and just kept the party going! My husband and I could not have agrees do more. All songs I wanted were played and anything. Google requested was played. There was never a time during the party that someone wasn't dancing. Recommend Kelly for your wedding if you love to dance and have someone professional and helpful.

Jorge performed beyond expectation with every facet of his job. His announcing skills were especially amazing since my last name was very hard to pronounce. Yet, he wrote down the pronunciation phonetically and practiced it all the way up to the wedding day. This alone shows his dedication and level of customer service. My wife and I met with some other DJs that didn't even bother to write down my name. He was very professional from the very first meeting, from writing down every little detail to asking us everything he needed to know to do the job perfectly!

The day of the event, he showed up early and set up everything himself and was ready to go with plenty of time left. His DJ skills were outstanding and read the crowd perfectly. Everyone who attended the wedding said that was one of the funnest weddings they've ever been to. Everyone was dancing - even the older crowd!

I would highly recommend Jorge to anyone. He is a must have at an party or wedding!

Kelly ROCKED our wedding! Seriously, he made sure fun was had! Not only was he extremely professional, but you can tell he loves what he does. When our wedding coordinator came to me (while I was shakin' it on the dance floor) and said it was time for the bouquet & garter toss, I asked that we please skip it because everyone was having so much fun dancing. Hats off to Kelly for making sure our wedding was a night to remember. Even the grandmas enjoyed themselves on the dance floor! We would definitely recommend Kelly to DJ any event if you want to ensure that your guests have a great time!

My wife and I hired Kelly for our wedding reception and I could not have been happier. We had our reception at the rooftop of the W Hotel and the weather and rain were not cooperating with us the day of the event. We had to call Kelly to come an hour earlier in the cold to help set up. He was not only understanding, he helped provide more lighting so that the place really shined nicely. Kelly kept the guests comfortable with the music selection and everyone commented on how much fun they had. At the end of the night, Kelly was quick and courteous in helping to break down all of his equipment. He even stayed a little later as the guests just weren't ready to leave because they were having such a great time. I couldn't have been happier with his service and professionalism. I would recommend anyone use him for any event they are having. His ability to go above and beyond really make him stand out head and shoulders above anyone else I've ever hired to DJ an event. I cannot thank him enough!

Kelly with Top Choice DJ did a great job for my wedding at the Four Seasons. He was the only DJ in town that worked with me on a price for uplighting. He quoted me a really great price and did a fantastic job setting them up on the day of. He also worked really closely with my other video projector vendors to coordinate speakers/setup so that the presentations played smoothly. He responds to emails very quickly and I never felt rushed or pressured during our phone conversations. The week of my wedding, we spoke in detail about the style of songs I wanted and he delivered all. Definitely recommend!

Kelly did a phenomenal job as a DJ for our wedding. He played beautiful music for the ceremony, and knew the perfect music to play at the reception to keep everybody "shaking it." His experience made the planning process a breeze, and we felt like we were in good hands. Never before have I been to a wedding with such a highly skilled DJ...my feet hurt the next day because I never wanted to quit dancing. Kelly was awesome, and I would highly recommend him.

Kelly and Top Choice DJ were phenomenal. They exceeded all my expectations. We actually got married in the Bahamas in July and had an August reception at Max’s Underground with around 200 guests. We did not have a wedding planner in Austin and Kelly did a fantastic job of creating a timeline to make sure we were able to do first dances, cake cutting, and everything else we needed to make the night perfect. Kelly was great at reading the crowd and kept everyone happy from Mamaw to high school aged kids. He had everyone on the dance floor and the night flew by. Top Choice is very professional and they have a great music selection. My guests were very complimentary. I would hire him again and recommend them to others!

Jorge was our DJ for our wedding. We could not be happier with how our reception went. He rolled with the punches as all of my bridesmaids made multiple requests. Kelly and his crew hit a home run at our wedding. We were pressed for time at our venue and they were very prompt and had everything set up on time for our guests to arrive. Kelly was AWESOME! We were thinking about just using an iPad for the music at our reception. At the last minute we decided we wanted a DJ instead, so we called these guys. Kelly was able to get all of our special songs, and was able to get everyone on the dance floor all night. Even the music he played during dinner was getting compliments from my family. It's like he knew what everyone wanted to hear. He was professional, polite, and very courteous. I am SO happy we didn't just use an MP3 player. There is no way it would have given us the memories that Kelly did. I would definitely recommend Top Choice DJ to anyone who asked.

Kelly and Jorge are awesome! The DJ I originally hired cancelled on me, and I am so glad he did! We had a bilingual wedding, with some obscure song requests, and they did an amazing job. Hire these guys NOW! My wife and I got married in March and Jorge and Kelly were incredibly helpful in the months and weeks leading up our wedding. They gave us a rough timeline to start with and were EXTREMELY attentive to our needs. Sometimes I gave very vague requests and others I requested a specific recording for a specific album.

They kept the dance floor packed! After some tasteful music during dinner, they took our requests (and do not plays) and kept the energy up for almost 3 hours. They made announcements, gave directions, and helped everyone have a good time.

They know the classics, they know the top 40 hits, and they know how to stay behind the scenes during the reception but still keep the party going.

I cannot recommend TopChoiceDJ enough.

Top Choice DJ did everything we asked for and more at our wedding reception. They got the energy up when needed and completely set the tone for our special night. We gave them a short time to set up (bc of our short reception) and they delivered beautifully. The music was exactly what I asked for! He read the crowd and when they seems to not like the music he responded and keep the dancing going all night. He mixed songs so they blended well together and was so helpful in choosing all the songs for first dance, dinner, cake cutting, etc. He had a very professional set up as well! The online system that allows you to choose the must have and the must not have playlist was awesome! Five star DJ!

Jorge DJ my wedding and thanks to him it was a success. We had a the best time of our life at the reception and couldn't of asked for a better more professional DJ. He played everything from Country, Salsa, Merengue, Punta (I am from Honduras and is our native music), to hip hop, R&B, to name a few. We asked for all genres to be played as we had such a diverse guest list and everyone had a blast and still to this day raves about how much fun it was!! Jorge (DJ BabyG) was perfect for our wedding. He had a wide selection of music that had everybody dancing all night. We are lucky and thankful to have found Top Choice DJ. The music was outstanding and both sides of our families had such great things to say. Half of our wedding party spoke only Spanish and the other half only English, so finding a happy medium COULD have been hard, but not for this DJ. A wide range of music was played and everyone spent the night dancing...Some even asked for the soundtrack!

Great DJ experience

We had a great experience working with Top Choice DJ service. Both Dan and Kelly were professional in communicating with us, the site was easy to navigate and Kelly (our DJ) contacted us the week of the wedding to check in with us. The dance went well and guests enjoyed the music. We also appreciated Kelly playing the music at our wedding which was held at the same site as the reception. Great variety

Great quality service!

We absolutely loved working with Top Choice Sound and DJ Kelly! He did a great job setting up and providing sound for our ceremony and reception. There were no mistakes and the quality was great. My husband and I love music so we were picky about what was played, Kelly was super flexible and made sure that we had our perfect playlists for the social hour and dance. The dance floor was packed the entire night!

Top Choice, DJ Kelly did an amazing job at our wedding! He was so flexible and even played our requests for Hmong songs. It was fantastic! Exceptional Professionalism, Understanding the Customer's Needs

My wife and I hired Top Choice Sound for our wedding in September, and were very happy with our experience. DJ Yan put together a fantastic showing and kept our guests dancing all night! As for the "behind-the-scenes" work, both Kelly and Dan did a superb job meeting our needs. Despite us running into a minor miscommunication, Dan made sure we were at ease come wedding day, and wanted to make sure we got their best. Kelly also went the extra mile to ensure we received a DJ to our personal liking (with style and personality). Great job!

Not "Top" Choice at all

They have a website where you could input specific songs you wanted for the processional, first dance, bouquet toss, etc. They also let you designate songs that "must be played", "should be played if possible", and "songs to not play". There were also questions about our music taste, which I stated as alternative/rock and classic rock. A few days before the wedding I spoke with someone on the phone to finalize my specific songs. The person I spoke with also said they would email me the DJ's contact information but they never did. The day of the wedding, the DJ did not even have a list of the specific songs we wanted. When it came time for our first dance, the DJ did not have our song ready and started to play the wrong song while my new husband and I just stood there awkwardly. For the reception, the very first song that was played was a country song and I did not want any country music played at my wedding. As the songs kept playing, I did not recognize any songs that I had requested. My husband and I wondered if she was even playing from our requests at all. What was worse, if an attendee requested a song, she just said "no". Luckily, she didn't play any songs from my "do not play" list but she only played a few from our "must play" list. The music was not at all what we wanted and I was very disappointed that our requests seemed to be completely ignored. I felt that our wedding reception was completely ruined. Fortunately, our guests said they did enjoy the music and had a fun time dancing. All in all, I was extremely disappointed with Top Choice Sound and if I could do it again I would definitely choose someone else who would actually play the music I wanted.
