We had the best experience working with Otis and his team at Too Cool Photography for our wedding.
From the start, communication was consistent and thoughtful. Otis checked in regularly, kept everything aligned, and when we had to move our wedding date by five weeks due to a hurricane, he handled the change with complete flexibility. It meant so much during an already stressful time.
Once we arrived at the resort, he met with us in person to walk the property and scout locations. He and his team were incredible at finding the best lighting and positioning throughout the day, which made a huge difference in how everything turned out.
On the wedding day, his energy was exactly what you want. Calm, fun, organized, and completely in control without ever feeling overwhelming. We are not a couple who loves being in front of a camera, and he made us feel comfortable and at ease the entire time. His team worked seamlessly alongside him, capturing both photo and video without ever feeling intrusive.
He also went above and beyond in ways I never would have expected. At one point he pulled out a brush to keep me from getting shiny, which sounds small but made such a difference in the moment.
Our videos have been incredible. Every time we receive a new one, I end up in tears. The lighting, the movement, and the way everything was captured feels natural and emotional without being overdone.
If I had one small piece of feedback, it would be around our group photos. Coordinating a large wedding party can be challenging, especially with timing pressures and many moving parts. In hindsight, I wish we had built in a bit more structure and time for this portion of the day so group portraits did not feel quite as rushed. With a little more time and planning on our end, I believe this part of the experience would have been just as strong as the rest.
Even with this, I would hire Too Cool again without hesitation.
As a destination wedding planner, I will absolutely be referring Too Cool Photography to my couples, especially those planning in the Caribbean or open to bringing in a photographer who knows how to work in destination environments.

Planning an overseas wedding in Jamaica came with a lot of moving parts, so I was initially a little unsure about using a photographer who was not directly affiliated with our venue. Otis immediately put us at ease with his professionalism, knowledge of the property as he had done many shoots there, and also helped us navigate the process for outside vendors - saving us money!
Something I never shared with him is that I used to be a wedding videographer myself, so I understand how important it is to capture the meaningful moments of such a special day. Otis exceeded every expectation we had.
I didn’t really have a detailed vision for our photographs beyond wanting the beauty of Jamaica as our backdrop and authentic moments captured while getting ready with our family and friends.
Well… it poured rain on our wedding day, and not once did Otis allow that to affect the experience. He brought so much fun, warmth, and energy to every moment of the day. From his energetic pose guidance to the way he collaborated with his team, everything felt natural and effortless. He took charge when needed without ever making it feel overstaged. Our family and friends all commented on how comfortable and enjoyable he made the entire experience.
Even with the rain pouring down, he still captured incredibly beautiful moments and even got us outside for photos with the dramatic skies behind us — which ended up becoming some of our favorite shots from the entire wedding.
We also had an amazing time with the 360 booth! It added such a fun interactive element to the reception, and our friends and family loved creating videos and memories throughout the night.
Throughout the entire process, Otis was prompt, professional, responsive, and incredibly reasonable in pricing for the quality of service he provided. We are so grateful that he and his crew captured our wedding day, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who truly cares about both the experience and the final product.

Our photos turned out amazing!! We can’t recommend Otis and his team highly enough!! He made our special day even more special and hassle free! You will instantly be able to tell that he is highly experienced and knows what he’s doing. Don’t have any doubts or second thoughts, as he perfectly captured our big day and was very flexible and easy to work with. He provided lots of poses and angles and ideas for photos. Also he made us feel super comfortable and confident throughout the photo process and he captured some amazing moments! We stayed at Iberostar, and the next day he came in person and let us scroll through and select our photos. We were very impressed with the quality and how everything turned out! He provided lots of unique angles, edits, and filters so that we had a variety to choose from. Otis is extremely professional, accommodating, and an amazing human overall. If you are on the fence about booking this company, just do it! I promise you will not regret it.
From the beginning, Otis reached out right away with expectations, costing, and was very attentive to my vision and what was important to me. The process was easy and the costing was very reasonable for everything he and his team did! He was very communicative throughout the entire process from booking to when they were leaving. He and his team took the most stunning photographs and videos I have ever seen from a wedding photographer (many of our guests said the same!). He brought fun and creative ideas to the pictures to really capture the special moments that will live on with us forever and we can continue to reflect on with the photos and video! He also sent us sneak peaks within a few days and provided all videos and photos within a week of our big day!
Otis and his team were extremely professional, attentive, and stayed on task throughout the entire wedding. I couldn’t recommend this company more! Fantastic Services!
I was referred to Too Cool Phography and Video Services through the villa that I rented for my stay and 50th birthday party in Jamaica. They came recommended and they did not disappoint.
Not only do they offer very affordable comprehensive photography and video packages, but true to their name they made the process easy and too cool. They were very responsive with any questions or concern we had in planning and on the day of the event their professionalism and skill as experts in their craft was evident. They were so kind and engaging us guiding us in capturing some memorable moments. And the 360 degree rotating video booth was the cherry on top.
When we got the final photos and video I was speechless. To say they were beautiful is an understatement. They were polished and captured so well the beauty, energy and essence of the night. It was a perfect mixture of candid and posed shots. The video made me relive the event all over again. The opening, the transitions, the capturing of the speeches--I felt like I stepped back in time and experienced that memorable day one more time.
Too Cool Photo and Video exceeded my expectations and simply blew my mind. I highly recommend them for all of your video and photo needs. I would use them again and again.

He directed me perfectly in every shot without ever making it feel forced or awkward. And let me tell you — he laid my veil flawlessly in every single photo. Every. Single. Time. From start to finish, the experience with Otis at Too Cool photography was simply exceptional. Everything was so organised and professional, which instantly put us at ease. Being from the UK and having our wedding near Ocho Rios, Jamaica, I naturally had a few concerns about planning everything from abroad, but Otis exceeded every expectation.
The photos look almost too good to be true. He captured absolutely everything, the big emotional moments, the small details, the atmosphere and the scenery. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the entire day again.
Otis made us feel completely relaxed. I was quite nervous and anxious on the day, but he was so calm and reassuring which really helped me settle and just enjoy every moment. The videographer was great too, such a good team and everything worked so smoothly.

We got married on the beautiful beach in Negril in Jamaica. Our photographer team was Too Cool Photography. They did a fantastic job, it was a beautiful sunset afternoon and I was so nervous but Otis made sure that I was comfortable. He helped us to relaxed and we were so amazed to see how beautiful the photos came out. We highly recommend Too Cool Photo & Video. The same night we got the chances to selected our photos and one week later our photos was sent to us by a download link. He captured the sunset so beautifully and the delivery time was so quick. Booking a destination wedding is always a challenge to find the right vendors. We founded Too Cool Photo & Video Wedding Services on Wedding Wire and from booking the wedding to the wedding date they were professional. The team arrived very early and they made everyone feel comfortable like family. We got the best pictures and videos ever! These guys just don’t take pictures they create memories. The best part of the wedding was when I started to sweat all of my makeup off Otis ran for his makeup bag and he take care of my sweaty face so that the pictures could come out perfect. When we decided to have a Jamaica destination wedding we thought it would be a challenge to find a good photographer and videographer . After many searches, We ended up choosing Too Cool photography. We were a little scared due to the fact that we have never met them. We only saw their work on Instagram. Today we can say it was the best decision. Our photographer. Videographer and drone specialist Mathew Reid , Oshane Henry, Dean Bailey were excellent they were very professional they were very creative on capturing our special day.
We got the photos very quickly and Otis which was the person coordinating with us kept in touch and make sure everything went well. They delivered beyond my expectation thank you guys you're the best.

The name Too Cool fits his personality perfectly. My wedding day was my first time getting my photos professionally taken, and I can say that Too Cool made everything so seamless. He was very professional, full of vybz and on time. My husband and I really love our photos. We told him we wanted a package for 25 photos, but when we saw all 200+ photos, we could not make a choice and ended up just paying for them all because they were all lovely and edited to perfection. On our special day, there was so much preparation and tasks my wife and I had to accomplish. It was stressful at times but in the end everything worked out perfectly. I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Otis and the team with the Too Cool Photo and Video Services company- I got married this past Saturday (5/10) and when I tell you they were great I mean they were GREAT! Otis literally showed everyone how to pose- from the girls to the guys and all the family- he’s a master with all the angles, the lighting, and the background- I am a person who is all about capturing moments with photos and videos and it’s a MUST that I have perfect lighting and they delivered just that! They had lighting set up to capture everything as best as possible, I wanted to hurry and go party but he settled me down and made sure all the perfect photos and videos were taken- he literally kept telling me you’re the bride you’re going to want a million photos! For that I’m very appreciative because he delivered excellent work. I’m used to having to wait a month or 2 for my videos and photos, but he delivered photos within 3 days IMAGINE MY SHOCK AND EXCITEMENT! He stayed in constant communication with me and just provided the best service! I’m forever grateful! Above and beyond amazing
I contacted Otis a year before my wedding date and he was very understanding of what I wanted. One year ago I didn’t understand the that I had just book the best photographer in Jamaica. I’m not saying this because I love my photos, I saying this because of his welcoming positive energy, communication skills and professionalism. The way that he directs you and makes sure everything is perfect, I could tell that this is his passion and he knew exactly what he was doing. It’s not just photography and video. It’s Art. Otis had everything to make my husband and I comfortable. From frozen rags and a small portable fan to keep us cool and from sweating. To makeup brushes to fix your makeup from any smearing. He lets you know that if you feel sweating do not wipe it because he has your back. I was literally shocked by his outstanding customer service. This is top tier service. To give you a better insight on his amazing customer service and how serious Otis is about his Art. I forgot my garter. I was about to try and improvise and make one. To my surprise Otis said he has one in his car for backup and went to get it. He saved the day. Over all, he made my wedding day amazing. His energy is just what is needed on your wedding day. If you can’t find a smile he will find it for you. That’s how amazing his energy is. You will not have a bad day if he is around. I and very thankful for my friend that referred me to use his services. It was an amazing experience and I’m very happy with all my photos. His work is immaculate. Otis and his video crew did a great job with the trailer.
