Beautiful wedding invitations from a professional who is extremely knowledgeable!

My daughter had a COVID wedding that had to be rescheduled from 2020 to 2021. However, when the wedding was supposed to take place in 2020, we began the process to order invitations. Julie at Too Chic & Little Shab Design Studio was remarkable to work with. We had some ideas about what we liked and Julie sent us several examples to choose from. We could not meet in person at that time, so we did everything over email and on the phone. Julie was outstanding to work with and made sure we understood everything and got exactly what we wanted. Her knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail is remarkable. Unfortunately, when we had to change the date, Julie had to go back and redo the invitation. She didn't care how many times we had to make changes. All she wanted was for it to be perfect - and it was! The invitation was absolutely beautiful When you work with Julie, you will not have to stress about anything. She delivered on time and even did the individual place cards. I highly recomment her and will definitely use her for my next daughter's wedding.

Delightful working with Julie!

Julie was wonderful! She communicated with us every step of the way Of us creating and getting our wedding invitations! I grew up in Elgin and knew I wanted to do someone small and local, and I’m so glad I went with this business! She was flexible when we had a family tragedy happen, delaying us a little, and helpEd bring our vision to life! I knew I wanted letter press and I knew that would make it a little more expensive but Julie had a great price! The ONLY issue was that The envelopes were a little fragile and a few were torn when traveling to the recipients. But that only happened to Two out of over a hundred. My fiancé and I currently live in Pittsburgh and so we did everything online and Over the phone and she made it an easy wonderful process! Everyone who received an invitation LOVED them. Beautiful Invitations!

Working with Julie was AMAZING! She is a very detailed oriented, responsive and so creative. Also, just a great person and a pleasure to work with. Our invitations were just gorgeous. In fact, I received several texts or calls a couple days after our invitations were sent out telling me how unique and pretty, they were. Julie helped us create a whole suite of day of stationary and signage that coordinated with our invitations. In fact, she is currently working on our picture thank you cards! Her experience and advice were invaluable as we navigated through all our wedding needs. There was not a guest at our wedding that did not comment on Julie’s work and creative talents. Two different languages

Too Chic & Little Shab is great when working with them! I requested my invitations in another language and they were done a beautifully and just as requested. We went over the proofs a few times for both languages to make sure that everything was correct before the invitations were ready to be printed. The invitations looked lovely, delicate and exactly how I wanted them. Thank you so much!!!!

Our Invites Are Perfect!

Beautiful Unique Invitations

I struggled for quite some time to find the perfect style for our wedding invitations and everything I would see felt very overused until I came across Julie (who I found on Wedding Wire). We set up a phone consultation and we spoke for over an hour, she is just the sweetest! She got to know the style of our destination wedding and really listened to the ideas we had for our invitations. It was really important for us to set the tone for our wedding with our invitations and stay within budget at the same time. She sent us a preview of the ideas she had and also sent us various samples in the mail. From the invitation itself, color of envelopes, font and type of paper used, design of insert cards, and RSVP cards, she nailed it! We started the design with Julie in November and asked if it was possible to get everything to be sent by the first of the year and she made it happen! Julie was also quick to reply to any questions or changes we had. Last minute before our wedding, I reached out to Julie to see if it was possible to create a welcome letter for our guests and she created one that matched our invitations so perfectly. If you want a unique wedding suite for your wedding, Julie is your gal! Thank you, Julie!

I highly recommend Julie for all of your stationary needs. My wedding invitations were stunning. I had family call me after receiving them to tell me how beautiful they are!! Which I was happy about because I feel the invitation sets the mood for your entire wedding. She also did our menus, programs, seating cards and I plan to order thank you cards. Julie made sure all my stationary was isync with each piece. I had a hiccup along the way that was more my fault and she accommodated me and fix the issue right away, thanks for that Julie!! Julie was AMAZING to work with, and the custom invitations turned out better than I imagined! I was constantly in contact with Julie with a dozen different emails, changing details, torn between fonts, multiple color changes and endless questions; and she ALWAYS answered me promptly and answered my concerns in detail. She's very helpful and creative if you're a little lost with design. I custom ordered my wedding invitations to match my favorite video game, Dragon Age, using a symbol from the game and she replicated it perfectly!

The invitation paper is of very nice quality, sturdy card stock and the burgundy color is gorgeous with the gold font. She did a great job at making my invitations look medieval without over doing it or making it look tacky. I have absolutely no complaints!

I used Too Chic & Little Shab for a wedding invitation suite and I cannot express how perfect it was for me. Julie was extremely creative in the suggestions she made. I gave her a color palette and some inspiration and let her take it from there. We ended up using a vellum paper which was FABULOUS and different. Then, I used that same vellum paper for the menu cards. I cannot say enough nice things about my experience from start to finish. Julie responded very fast and was able to show me proofs of my design before printing. She never seemed to mind all the tiny change requests I made, she was very happy to help. I am definitely going to recommend Julie to others! Look no further, you found your stationary company!!! :)

I got so many compliments on my invitations. I wanted something that looked unique but professional. Julie met this expectation perfectly. Her design was upscale and stylish with unique touches that made it special (a fabulous font, a shimmer on the cardstock). The invitations looked and felt expensive (even though her prices are very reasonable!) And I have never seen an invitation like mine before--they were really special. In addition, I loved that she and her team put together the invitations so that I didn't have to do that part. My only concern was that I received the invitations about a week later than what was quoted--but Julie did an excellent job of keeping me updated the whole time, so I was not worried.

Julie also designed my programs, table numbers, and place cards. These were also done on pearly cardstock with the glamorous font. Again, they added a touch of elegance to my reception, but they also felt totally personalized. Her designs made the night a little more special, and I am grateful for that.

Julie was a DREAM to work with. From our initial meeting and countless emails back and forth, it was all so easy to turn my ideas into a reality. My fiance missed the meetings, unfortunately, so was nervous not having seen any of her work in person but went in with blind faith. When we opened the box of our completed invitations, he was SPEECHLESS and couldn't stop staring at them, and neither could I. From the first time I met with Julie to plan my wedding invitations she was super personable and I felt like for sure I would be in good hands. She cared about me and my big day not just about getting my business. She had amazing designs and was extremely quick in always getting back to me. We ordered our wedding invites from Julie and could not be happier! From the initial meeting to the design process and ordering Julie was very accommodating to our needs. I told her our colors and brought a couple invite ideas in and she designed the perfect gold&black wedding invitation for us. Julie's invites are high quality and very professional; we can't wait to send them to our guests! We were concerned about spending too much, but the price point was just right for her product. If your looking for unique and beautiful invitations and other products for your wedding Julie is it! I wasn't finding anything I liked online that fit our theme. After another less than stellar vendor told me that she couldn't do my job at the 11th hour, I was scrambling a bit! I found Julie online and called her. She offered to meet with me that night and we met to talk through what I wanted. Julie had 3 different concepts to me within a matter of days...and despite her going on vacation for a week, she turned everything around for me to get the invitations on time. Her work was amazing...my invitations were perfect and I got a lot of compliments on them. I highly recommend Julie -- she's great!

Miracles never cease sometimes in life!! I wanted a die-cut type Bridal Shower Invitation for a nice, special young lady. I looked around our area stores, but couldn't find anything without paying $280 for a total of 80 invites. I tried Too Chic, Little Shab and am so excited, happy that what I received looks exactly like the picture on the website. Julie was so nice, helped me to pick out just the right shade of pink. She intuitively knew what I wanted, and adjusted the invite for my particular tastes, no extra charge. I opened the box this a.m. They were tightly sealed, and air-cushioned so that the invites which are delicate, stayed "practically perfect in every way"(Mary Poppins :) Other times websites I ordered from sent a cheap, looking small print of a card, that was a money maker for *them. We searched and searched for a set of invitations that matched the vintage/shabby chic style of our wedding and were so excited when we found Too Chic & Little Shab on Wedding Wire. Too Chic & Little Shab was perfect for designing our wedding ceremony programs, reception table numbers, and menu cards for our bar. The design was beautiful and high quality, and all the different components had a reoccurring "theme" (an elegant fleur de lis) to help tie all the elements together. I highly recommend Too Chic & Little Shab!

I loved working with Julie. Her creativity is just amazing. Her work is perfect and flawless. Julie made everything from invites to place cards to table cards, favor tags and high chair banners...she was just great to work with and I look forward to using her shop for future events!

Too Chic & Little Shab Design Studio did an amazing job with the fairy princess invitations for my daughter's 2nd birthday party - wand included! We were so pleased with the bling starfish invitations for my daughter's wedding that we purchased from Julie at Too Chic. Not only was Julie very speedy in providing proofs for exactly what we wanted but the invitations arrived in the time frame that she quoted. Every single one of the invitations was perfectly done. Dealing with Julie was a joy and made the invitation part of the wedding planning process very easy and problem-free. Unfortunately, in order to put the correct date on this review I had to change the event because I had reviewed another vendor we used for my son's wedding five years ago. Too Chic provided the invitations for my daughter's wedding on 10-6-2012.

Too Chic designed my destination wedding invitations and people have been talking about them for months! I have been told many times that they were "the best invitations ever." I would recommend this vendor to anyone and could not be any happier with the purchase. All of my questions were answered quickly and the invitations were on time as promised; the turn around was much faster than I ever expected.

Julie was so wonderful to work with! I wanted a unique, high quality invitation and I liked the idea of supporting small business rather than some large paper store.
