The Best of the best

Where to start! From the first moment that we exchanged emails, then calls, I knew we would be hiring Tonya to photograph the most special day of our lives. We live in a few hours away, so Tonya kept me at ease and gave me tips along the way. She always made time in her schedule to talk and when the wedding day came, I felt like I had known her for years. She is very punctual and knew exactly what the “game plan” was for the day. She made me laugh the whole day, while ensuring every photo I wanted was able to happen! Her work is phenomenal, and her eye for a good photo opp is incredible. We did not do a first look and we managed to do most photos before (minus couple and family group shots) and the ceremony started exactly when it was supposed to! During cocktail hour she made sure all our photos were done, and also snuck us out for some Sunset photos on the river in st augustine. Her and her second shooter were so fun to be with, and her service is a 10/10!!! You can tell this is her passion, and I highly recommend her for your wedding, newborn photos, family photos, anything! Thank you again!!! Incredibly talented!

Tonya did such an incredible job with our wedding photos!!! We are thrilled. She captured our special day beautifully and delivered an album that we can't stop looking at - they are such high-quality photos! Not only is she a talented photographer, but she was also so helpful during the planning process in giving us honest feedback on our timelines and shot list to ensure we were 100% comfortable with our plan. incredible!

incredible value for a talented photographer! after combing through lots of options, she had some of the best photo composition, kept the true colors of the day without white-washing everything, and was a very reasonable price with great package options. we got our photos back and they are incredible--captured the emotions so well, had a great eye for a variety of stunning scenes for post-ceremony bride-groom portraits. We are not used to being photographed and had never met her before our wedding day but she put us right at ease. no second thoughts about picking Tonya as our wedding photographer :)

Amazing wedding photos that captured the emotions and beauty of each moment from the wedding

Wedding photographer

Tonya is truly so talented and we are so grateful that she could capture our wedding day. Her energy is positive and upbeat and it truly was such an enjoyable experience having her as our photographer. I am blown away by the photos she captured and she has an eye for capturing candid moments. I am having a hard time deciding which photos are my favorite because there is so many that I love. Special moments captured perfectly!

Tonya Beaver photographed our wedding in December 2021 at Greyfield Inn in Cumberland Island, GA, & I highly recommend her. All-around Amazing!

I would 100% recommend Tonya Beaver as your wedding photographer!! She was professional, communicative, and really attentive to what we were looking for in our elopement photos. And the photos – just WOW! Every one of them embodies the mood we were wanted, the only trouble is picking which ones to share. They’re all so beautiful. She also created an emotional video of the day that made our families cry (in the best way) and was prompt with sharing previews and the blog post while she edited the rest of the photos. Again, don’t sleep on your chance to book Tonya for your own photos, you won’t regret it!

Absolutely incredible!

Tonya was incredible for our wedding in July 2020!! We rescheduled twice & changed locations (from Virginia to Florida) due to COVID, and then when our original photographer couldn't make it, I reached out to her THREE WEEKS PRIOR to my wedding. She responded immediately that she was available and the booking process was incredibly simple and she walked me through everything! The last weeks leading up to the wedding she helped with the timeline and everything to make sure nothing important got missed in the shuffle, and then day of she was INCREDIBLE!! It was almost like she wasn't even there, and when she did pose us for pictures it felt so natural and the pictures were AMAZING!! Seriously, if you want an excellent photographer that feels like family as soon as she walks in the door, choose Tonya!! She does spectacular work (my whole family and my in-laws have been raving about our wedding pictures for 2 months now and I don't think it'll ever stop, haha!)!

Outstanding photographer that executed our vision!

I came across Tonya after many months of researching her work online and ‘stalking’ her social media accounts. From the first time I spoke with her on the phone to inquire her style many months before our wedding date, my gut knew that she was the right photographer for my wedding. From the start, she understood our overall vision and she was very responsive to my questions (both emails and phone calls). As a bride for the second time, I forced myself not to get lost in the many poses/inspiration boards on Pinterest for ‘must have’ pics and after meeting with Tonya in person sharing our love story, she truly captured our special intimate wedding day perfectly! She was extremely professional, punctual, she gave instruction well (without being pushy or losing her patience), and an she was an overall delight to work with on our wedding day (she even had spare bobby pins to help with my fly away updo hair). She provided 450+ digital photos along with a short video in the timeframe promised (4 weeks after wedding), which were hands down outstanding and professionally done! Photographer

Tonya was truly amazing from start to finish! She has an unbievable eye to capture the most intimate moments that brought everyone that watched our picture video slideshow to tears! Our pictures were very important to use due to the fact that all of my husband's family lives in Europe. Our wedding was the 1st time, and will probably be the only time, that both sides of our families met and will be together again all at the same time. So her capturing our moments with them all was one of the most important parts of or wedding day. She nailed it and truly is so very talented and just amazing to work with. I would recommend her to anyone looking to capture the most beautiful memories for any special occasion. Top notch lady!

Magical memories

Tonya was amazing! So was so accommodating and made us feel so comfortable during both our engagement photos as well as our wedding/reception. Her bright spirit and sense of humor made all the time fly by. The amount of time taken to develop our photographs was also incredible. I am new to this whole wedding planning thing - as I think most people are :) My one piece of advise would be to write your photograph wishlist as Tonya describes in her emails. I missed that - it helps everyone stay on the same page and understand everyone's wishes and expectations. We would definitely recommend Tonya for future projects.

Tonya captures the special moments!

Our daughter was married this past May. In reflection, Tonya was everything we could have hoped for! She was helpful in the planning stages & had so many valuable ideas. This was our first wedding to plan and she was always there was a great idea or recommendation. When down to the last couple of days before the wedding, she was organized and supportive. As the MOB, you need your photographer to be prepared...and she is! On our special day, Tonya was the most incredible person you could want capturing all the special moments. She has priceless ability to capture the unspoken moments, things you can't specifically "ask" her to get. It's as if she is that long lost best friend that knows what moments will melt your heart in a photo! And even with her fun & relaxed vibe, she keeps everyone on target and on time! I got very lucky because my wedding planner had used Tonya Beaver for her wedding and after I browsed her website I knew immediately she was the ONE! I am so happy that we chose Tonya because she and her second shooter captured our day perfectly! Tonya has the sweetest personality and just fit in perfectly with everyone associated with the wedding. I even forgot to tell her about a group photo that I wanted taken following our ceremony but she just rolled with it like a total professional and make it happen. Exceptional Photography with a personal touch.

Tonya never ceases to amaze me with the quality of work she constantly produces. There is no right moment right time here. Love, love love! Super happy couple here!

So so thankful I found Tonya for our engagement and wedding photos! There's a reason why she's so loved when you look for photographers in our area - it's because she's THAT great! We chose Tonya for our engagement and wedding photos, and we honestly just couldn't be happier! My now husband and I both thought we were going to look "super awkward" not knowing how to pose - but Tonya assured us that she had that under control for us and we had nothing to worry about... that our job was just to have fun with it. Other than certain family/formal shots for the wedding day, I'm thankful we also let her run with what she felt would work great for our engagement and wedding pictures - she's the expert and came up with ideas for photos that I wouldn't have ever thought of! She's super sweet and responsive, was detailed about all our options, helpful in coming up with a timeline for the wedding day, plus much more. She even helped me get all of the family under control because a few showed up later and our timeline ran off from the start - she got us back on track and still got us the pictures that she knew we'd want to have. Also, if you love light she is so great at having an eye for finding it! We took a quick detour to a nearby pond that would help catch a sunset I would have totally missed for our engagement pics... those particular pics I call "our Nicolas Sparks book cover pics" because that's what they look like with the lighting she caught :) As a hard core researcher when it comes to pretty much everything, I love to write reviews especially when things are great like this! If you decide to go with Tonya you can rest assured you're in great hands for any type of pictures (she also does sweet baby pics!). If you also don't know what kind of shots to ask for, trust her to let her run with it because she just knows what you'll wish you had later! My husband is very hard to impress and hard to get a reaction from, and he was really impressed by Tonya and her talent too!! Another happy couple here!!! Will definitely be recommending her to anyone we know looking for pictures!!!

Amazingly fun and supportive photographer!

Tonya was so wonderful to work with! She made sure i understood the packages, the process, and the vision. Tonya could not have been sweeter, and she made taking a million pictures more enjoyable than I thought it would be! Neither my husband or myself love being the center of attention, so to have people so focused on us for a such a large chunk of time sounded uncomfortable. Tonya and her assistant made jokes and kept things lively so that we could enjoy ourselves and get even better pictures. All we wanted and more...

Tonya is incredible! Her eye for detail and passion for giving each couple a personalized experience is unmatched. My husband and I were so impressed with what we saw at our consultation that we decided to only specify a few shots and then give her free reign to really be creative and take our photos in the moment. Her and her assistant joked and laughed with us, made the day fun and worked so efficiently together. Truly made us feel like we were the only two people in the whole world. Tonya captured so many amazing moments -even taking the time to get a photo of me wrapped up in my veil with my beloved 21 year old cat at the last minute. I have only seen a few shots so far, but I am in love with every single one and can't wait to see the rest. Tonya is the one to call if you're looking for photos to treasure for a lifetime.

I could not love Tonya Beaver more! She is AMAZING and truly talented! We gave her our deposit the same day we met her! Tonya is an incredibly talented photographer! She was the only photographer we contacted that offered to meet with us personally prior to the wedding. She goes to incredible extremes to backup and protect the photos she takes. Our riverfront wedding had to be moved indoors due to an intense thunderstorm and she managed the entire situation with calm and poise, securing alternate locations to take beautiful photographs and pulling the couple outdoors to take advantage of an unusual pink sky - post storm. She interacted with all of our guests courteously and with a sense of humor. We had a chaotic situation with the extreme weather and in spite of that she maintained control of the formal photographs and captured all of the special moments during the course of the day. We highly and unreservedly recommend her for her professionalism and talent!

Tonya was the photographer for my daughter's wedding on April 15, 2018 at Casa Marina in Jacksonville, Fl. She was so professional and on top of every little moment. She captured pictures that made my heart soar. During the reception she was so much fun and blended so well with our family. Not only did she capture each persons personalities in her photos but she fit right in and became part of our celebration. I would recommend Tonya for any and every occasion that you may need a photographer. I cannot wait for my daughter to have children so we can have Tonya be apart of that celebration as well. Tonya was amazing! Through the entire process, from our first meeting with her, to receiving the finished products, she's been nothing short of that. There are not enough superlatives to describe how incredibly wonderful it was to have Tonya Beaver as our wedding photographer. I scheduled an appointment with Tonya early on in my vendor search, and I knew the minute we met that she was the perfect fit for my husband-to-be and me. She did an amazing job getting to know us as a couple, and she was focused on making our engagement session and wedding day experiences with her fun. Our engagement shoot went so smoothly, the shots were amazing, and the video of the shoot made my mom and mother-in-law to be cry. We hired Tonya for our wedding and she is a consummate professional in every sense of the word. She was there early, stayed late, and captured every special moment in between. The weather was bad but she found ways to keep everyone happy and laughing while doing her job patiently and flawlessly. Tonya was INCREDIBLE! She did our Engagement Session earlier this month and she made us feel extremely comfortable. (We were afraid of being too awkward) She has such an outgoing personality! She kept in contact with us before, during, and after the session and was extremely flexible with our crazy schedules! We are most appreciative of the time and effort she put into taking our photos! Memories are captured and kept best by picture and I would trust no one else to have done our pictures!! She is absolutely amazing and made the first part of our wedding planning journey absolutely stress free! Tonya Beaver you're a true gem!! Words cannot describe how blessed we are to have found you! I believe God put you in our lives at exactly the time that we needed you. Finding a photographer wasn't easy. Reading hundreds of blogs and reviews can make a potential bride go crazy, but look no more as your journey of blog reading has ended. Tonya Beaver Photography should be your first and only pick for your photography needs!! Her level of experience and attention to detail are expressed in her work time and time again. Her ability to not only capture the posed shots but also tell a story is what makes her simply amazing. Her photography is like artwork that is told through a photo lens. The way in which she captures every laugh, every tear, every heart felt moment is what takes her experience to the next level. Something that I've never seen any other photographer do before is take still shots along with video clips. During both our engagement session and also during the wedding day Tonya was taking video clips of the candid moments that we would cherish for a lifetime. The video clips help to paint the picture of the story and ties in all the still shots. I absolutely love the slideshows that Tonya put together for us. I cry every time I watch them. My husband and I are so thankful for Tonya and look forward to contacting her for our maternity, newborn and family photo sessions. We cannot recommend Tonya enough! We originally scheduled our engagement photos for earlier this year, but unfortunately, my fiancé broke his foot, and we had to postpone until the fall. Tonya was incredibly flexible in this regard and was happy to reschedule us once we knew when he’d be up and walking around again. At the session this fall, she was incredibly attentive and enthusiastic. She made it very easy to be in front of the camera, and the nervousness I felt before she arrived evaporated. When selecting back drops and poses, she was encouraging, kind and incredibly creative. We were so very happy with our session, and we plan on having her take our family portrait with our dogs next spring. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an engagement/wedding photographer!! And I’m sure we’ll continue to use her in the future for important events!

Tonya and her team are amazing. We used her for engagement and wedding. This girl is amazing!!! Not only did my daughter get a-m-a-z-I-n-g photos for her engagement & wedding, Tonya went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Our Florist totally screwed up the flowers on the day of the wedding, so unbeknownst to us, Tonya arranged for a free brides bouquet (another florist)(with correct colors) and a free make up session so that my daughter could retake her photos in her gown after the wedding!!! love this photographer and would HIGHLY recommend her!

THANK YOU Tonya and Amber for the simply amazing photos you captured at Katy and Jordan's wedding! The slideshow set to music brings me to tears each time I watch it (and I won't ever admit to how many times I've watched it!!) And we have been through the hundreds of pics on the link, and they are spectacular! You ladies took not only awesome professional photos, but more than that you honed in on the actual spirit and feel of the day and captured that as well! The photos tell the story beautifully, as we all experienced it.....and for that I don't have adequate words of thanks. And Tonya - the pit stop on the way to church on the tree lined street........ those photos should be published!!!!! Knowing the time constraint for that extra stop, the need to coordinate with the limo driver and flower girl mom, and the logistics of a larger bridal party and two excited newbie parents of the bride.....not to mention curious neighbors and a truck trying to enter the road..... it all makes your calm demeanor and photography skills that much more amazing! And Amber.....how you got those young men to all cooperate and get such perfect shots is beyond me!! You were both most definitely a huge blessing on Katy and Jordan's wedding day, and you are most definitely a vendor we would highly recommend without any reservation!!!!! To future brides: I very seldom say the words "without reservation" ... but I feel they are most appropriate here! We are so glad we chose Tonya to be our photographer. She was completely amazing. We did an engagement shoot with her leading up to the wedding which I highly recommend. It was so nice getting to work with her before the big day. Neither of us like getting our picture taken, but Tonya made it fun, and she has an eye for details and making sure everything comes out perfectly. We are SO glad we chose Tonya and her team to capture our wedding! Where do I even begin? Tonya is a brilliant, talented photographer - but you already know that one click into her gallery! From the day we exchanged emails, she has been attentive, professional, and personable. During our engagement session, we knew we hit the jackpot - Tonya obviously knew what she was doing (we were nervous and get pretty camera shy/awkward). She really made the whole process fun. But even more than that, Tonya went above and beyond for our wedding day. The weather did not quite cooperate with us, and Tonya acted as my liaison/advocate to my day-of coordinator knowing how much we wanted an outdoor ceremony. Tonya Beaver! Where do I even begin to explain her amazingness?! Tonya and her assistant, Amber, were super patient with my 10,000 questions leading up to the wedding and were on-point the day of. We had a pretty large wedding party and huge families and these ladies had no problem keeping them in line! :) There were a couple fiascos with my other vendors (my florist brought all the wrong flowers and my DJ wasn't awesome) and Tonya & Amber were my go-to’s for suggestions, fixes, or reassurance. In case they weren't amazing enough... on my birthday, just a few weeks after the wedding, Tonya gave me a gift certificate good for "one relaxed, stress free session with you and Matt to include hair and make-up and the bouquet you asked for but didn't get". I have never in my life heard of a photographer offering someone an entirely separate shoot because the other vendors messed up. So tomorrow I get to wear my wedding dress for the second time(!!!!) and make new memories with my hubby all thanks to Tonya. If you've come across this review - don't look any further. You've found your photographer. :)

At the end of the day all that you have are your pictures. There are so many things I didn't even realize until I got my pictures back. I am blow away by everything that was captured that day. Book her for your wedding -you will be more than pleased that you did. Your wedding is less than 24 hours but your pictures tell the story forever so investing wisely in a photographer is important. Tonya Beaver and her team are worth every penny in that they capture you and your husband as you really are, she puts you at ease, she works the entire event, she gets you what you want and more. I could go on and on but as an older first time bride (46) who had to choose how to allocate the wedding budget, Tonya Beaver Photography was the wisest choice I made.

To start it off,I have never been a person to look up and/or write reviews until I began to plan a wedding. I never knew the importance behind it until then and now. If it wasn't for reading the GREAT (and not to mention true) reviews I wouldnt have been paired up with THE BEST photographer.. She is honest and REAL . Exactly what my personality needed. Her assistant Amber is great as well both keep you happy and laughing while keeping everything on schedule and accomplishing exactly what they said they'd do at consultation. NOTHING less. It was perfect.

Tonya Beaver is, as far as I’m concerned, THE ONLY TRUE wedding photographer there is. Do not even bother with any other photographer - book Tonya immediately because she books extremely far in advance!! We booked her over a year before our wedding.
When it came to finding a wedding photographer, I didn’t know any photographers personally and hadn’t yet received a referral for one, so I started my hunt online (where I feel that you can get a good sense of a photographer’s work). Right when I looked at Tonya’s website, I knew that her work was different. Every single photo is as beautiful as a work of art! Then, my mom and I met with Tonya, and I booked her that day! Her personality is as beautiful as her photos.
Something else to note is the quality of Tonya's equipment. In addition to her unique eye for photography, you can tell that she invests in her equipment. She uses top of the line Canon cameras and has many different lenses that give a wide variety of shots.
When people say that Tonya is “so much more than a photographer,” is it 100% TRUE. On the day of the wedding, my husband’s stepdad had forgotten his tie, and by the time he realized it, it was too late to go get one. So, Tonya called her husband and had him bring a tie for my husband’s stepdad. He brought it to us and it matched seamlessly. She didn’t miss a beat - she has such genuine care for her couples that spans WAY further than her phenomenal photography! She is a true gem and I am SO thankful that she was there to capture our wedding day!

Tonya is absolutely amazing! Her work is phenomenal and her personality is adorable. She truly made us feel like family. She knew exactly what I wanted for our engagment shoot and moved mountains to make it happen. My husband is very shy and wasnt sure about being in front of the camera for our engagement shoot but she made us feel so comfortable and he actually said he had fun :) I was so overwhelmed on our wedding day and Tonya was there to make sure everything went smoothly. I found Tonya online while searching for floral ideas for our Spring wedding. I kept running by AMAZING photos with her logo on them and knew immediately I needed her to by my photographer. From the moment I interacted with Tonya via email, I knew she was the one. After meeting with Tonya in person, I immediately knew she would end up being more than just my wedding photographer. Tonya Beaver is extremely talented at what she does, she has an amazing talent for photography and is able to capture lighting like I've never seen before. After three separate photo sessions with Tonya, I have been wowed every time. Tonya is very professional, but also a blast to work with and makes sure you are comfortable in every shot! On our big day Tonya was prompt and immediately started shooting, making sure not to miss a shot or detail. Tonya has this special way of finding the right "light" and capturing the shots that no one else can see. She is amazing at what she does whether it is for weddings, family photo's or baby photos. We used Tonya for our engagement and wedding photos. She made sure that everything on our list was captured and then some. I cannot begin to express how priceless she was in making sure that we kept our cool about us and still captured the moments. During the post ceremony pictures my son almost passed out from the heat. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Tonya was the photographer at my daughter's wedding. She was so easy to work with and kept us all calm and on track. She clearly knew what she was doing. She captured all of the emotions and fun of the entire wedding day with all of the friends and family. The pictures are phenomenal and beyond our expectations.! Tonya is incredibly creative and talented. She even traveled all of the way to Gainesville to shoot the engagement photos. Tonya created a wonderful slide show of the wedding that still makes me cry, with joy, of course. Her photos albums are amazing! I confess, however, that I have not done mine - too many fabulous pictures to pick from. But I have seen my daughter's album and it is so creative and gorgeous. I feel so lucky that we found her to capture my daughter's wedding and would highly recommend her.

I can not say enough about how grateful I am from the bottom of my heart to Tonya Beaver for capturing such GORGEOUS pictures of my wedding day!!!!!! Tonya made me feel so comfortable from the beginning and was by my side every single second of my special day to relieve all of my stress. My wedding planner was MIA on the morning my wedding but thank God for Tonya Beaver for being such a life saver and keeping my day on track, I didnt even need my "wedding planner". My bridesmaids and groomsmen LOVED working with Tonya she made us laugh all day long and kept the day fun and exciting while getting the most fabulous pictures. Tonya stayed at my wedding the entire night and even at 1:30am she took pictures of my husband and I outside in downtown in front of the beautifully lite bridge. TONYA BEAVER is AWESOME!!!!! I had loved Tonya's photography from the start! The first time I saw her work I just knew she was going to be the photographer for our wedding! Not only did I love the pictures I had seen, but I also loved her fun and outgoing personality as well as her organization and professionalism once I met her! Tonya and her assistant were great to work with and were always quick to respond to emails or calls. Tonya did an amazing job capturing the essence of our special day. My husband and I decided to have a small wedding - just the two of us and our pastor - but we wanted to get dressed up and have wonderful photographs to share with our family and friends who were not happy about being left out of our plans. We are not super photogenic people, but it was critically important to me to have good pictures. Since we didn't have a big wedding party, we were able to get lots of different shots all around St. Augustine. Tonya made it so much fun with her bubby personality. Her creativity and talent came through in a big way. We were thrilled when we got to see the proofs. I sent them around to my friends and a few ladies I knew that were getting married soon and everyone was so complimentary on how great our pictures were. Although the photo’s speak for themselves, I don’t know what I would have done without Tonya on my wedding day. Tonya could probably sense what the wedding would be like after our engagement session, which involved many opinions and tequila shots, but I don’t think anyone was prepared for what was actually in store, an outdoor wedding in a Jacksonville downpour. Tonya was there from the minute I arrived to the second I left and was my rock for the day. Minutes before the ceremony started; after the flower arrangements have been moved in and outside multiple times, while contemplating the ‘right’ decision (move indoors or stay outside), and on the verge of waterworks, Tonya’s professional opinion and friendly demeanor talked me off the edge. With a smile on her face and camera in hand, I married my best friend outside in the rain. She was focused, flexible and her talent speaks for itself. Considering all of the rain, wet guests, and emotions our photos are PERFECT! Tonya captured every little detail and there isn't one I wouldn't consider displaying in my home. Tonya Beaver is the BEST!! She's fun, friendly and has TONS of creative ideas. I had never been the subject of professional photos before and Tonya made me feel so comfortable. Tonya is a truly gifted photographer. Take one look at her online portfolio and you'll agree that she is very talented. Her ability to capture 'the perfect moment' again and again is why we chose her as the photographer for our engagement photos and wedding day photos.

If you're looking for someone who can capture natural (un-posed looking) photos, then you should contact Tonya. Best part is, Tonya is not only real good at what she does, she’s also fun to work with. She arrives with a cheerful presence, and she takes her time working with her clients to get great photos. Note: my husband is not the kind of guy who likes having his photo taken- and in our experience, she was able to put us at ease in such a way that he not only had fun but actually lost track of time! An hour went by in a blink! Her assistants are also a joy to work with; taking care of all the details.

One piece of advice I received over and over again from former brides was: "don't under-invest in the photography; in the end, it's one of the few lasting things that you have left from your wedding, and you'll never regret having beautiful photos that capture the joy and the beauty of your special day!" I repeat that advice to anyone who is reading this now. Tonya's service is worth every penny! And she's an awful lot of fun to work with too!

Can't tell you how many times I heard someone say, "it's unbelievable how fast your wedding day flys by, just relax and enjoy every moment!" Well of course I found the day speeding by, but I felt the professionalism of our photographer Tonya made the pictures fast and efficient. There are not enough wonderful things that I could say about Tonya, but she really doesn't even need my review for you to see how amazing she is. Her photo's speak for themself. But what they dont tell you is the type of person she is, but just 5 minutes with her and you will see why you have to book her. And its not only the bride that she will win over your future husband will not care about any part of the wedding most likely but even they will love Tonya. My now husband, Joe, is an avid photographer and was insistent on finding someone with better equipment and experience. After weeks of research he found the website for Tonya Beaver Photography. We both really liked her photos and arranged to meet her. She has a wonderfully bubbly personality, which made us instantly comfortable, and before we left we went ahead and made a deposit to reserve her for our wedding date.
An engagement session was part of our package and Tonya made sure that was a really enjoyable experience. I myself am not super comfortable being in so many pictures but Tonya made sure to keep us laughing the whole time. Which was a great warm-up for the many wedding day pictures that were yet to come.
On the day of our wedding Tonya was extremely prompt and organized. She kept us on our schedule and ensured that we would have all of our requested “must have” pictures.
We couldn’t have asked for or had a better photographer, and with her many fantastic pictures of our special day we will never forget any moment of it.

I got married in December 2011. I was trying to cut corners since it was my 2nd marriage and we asked a friend (not new to photography) to take our wedding pictures. When we got back from our honeymoon and looked at the pictures, I was so disappointed. Actually disappointed is a major understatement. There was one, that's right ONE picture of my husband and I. Who photographs a wedding and doesn't focus on the bride and groom? I've been a fan of Tonya's for years and I contacted her and told her what a huge mistake I had made. Recently she was scheduled to do a wedding close to where I live and she asked if anyone wanted any family pictures taken while she was in town. I immediately jumped at the chance and asked her if she would take some pictures of my husband and I in our wedding attire. She said yes, and I cannot tell you how happy I am. Even though it was not our wedding day, Tonya was able to capture special moments of my husband and I. The first sneak pics she sent to me, all I could do was cry. The pictures were absolutely beautiful. Please don't make the same mistake I did. You will regret it. Thanks to Tonya, I now have beautiful wedding pictures that I can show my family and friends.

My wife and I were recommended to Tonya by one of her friends. When we read Tonya's brochure we were already in LOVE with what she had to offer and her AMAZING pictures! After meeting with her we knew she was going to be our photographer! Our wedding was on June 30th, 2012 and with all the running around and over a hundred degrees of sun beating down on us..she never missed a perfect picture! She was there before we arrived and even left after us! When we were able to view our proofs online..it took us 3 hours to go through them all and they made my wife cry all over again because she captured every wedding moment and froze it in time. Not even sure where to start with describing our amazing experience with Tonya. My husband and I feel so lucky to have had Tonya by our side though our crazy year of wedding planning, etc. Tonya isn't only an incredible photographer, she turned in to an amaizng friend. She made it clear from the beginging that she was here for us and she was going to do anything she could to make our day unforgettable and to help make the days leading up to our wedding as smooth sailing as possible. Our save-the-dates came our amazing. After that session, Jim and I knew that we have found the right girl for this job. She is down to earth and totally fun! She makes the photo sessions so incredibly enjoyable. There is so many great things about Tonya, but one example is, one day I was having a nervous breakdown because my forist decided to relocate and not call us and tell us. I called Tonya in a panic. About an hour later she called me and had the place they relocated to, their new number and she had called them to tell them to call me right away. Which they did do. Amazing! Just amazing! And to just top it all off our wedding pictures came out beautifully! Everyone that has seen them is in absolute awe. My husband and i have already talked about using Tonya in the future for family pic, ect. Tonya was the first vendor we booked, and it couldn't have been a better decision. Throughout our 16 month engagement, Tonya gave me advice on other vendors and helped me figure out our schedule and timing for the day of the wedding. I think all of her clients sound like a broken record when we say that she goes above and beyond for her couples, but it's true! I never expected my photographer to dedicate so much time to helping me make my wedding day as perfect as it can be. She puts her heart into her work, and it comes through in her pictures. There is not one single moment I can think of that wasn't captured on our wedding day. In addition to the incredible pictures, she really makes everyone feel comfortable and she genuinely loves to see people be happy. She's professional and extremely efficient when it comes to the formal pictures. We were on a bit of a time crunch because of the setting sun, and I was worried that we rushed through our formal pictures. When I got all the pictures back, I was so surprised to see how many formal pictures there were and how many different angles were captured. I don't know how she does it, but she truly seems to capture every second of the day. Whether it's a bridal hoodie that's been tossed on the couch, a stolen glance between the bride and groom during the ceremony, your guests dancing at the reception, Tonya captures it all. If I could do it all over again, the first vendor I booked would still be Tonya. I can't recommend her enough!

Tonya Beaver.... AMAZING. We made a list at the begging of our wedding planning on items that we refused to settle on or compromise on, the photographer was one of them. I say this with full confidence: There was no better choice than Tonya out there! Her work is breathtaking and her talent is phenomenal. She is a true professional and will not rest until your pictures are stunning. Her work speaks for itself if you see any of it. But Tonya was SO much more than just a vendor on our list. She always reached out to see how we were doing, she helped us in times of MAJOR distress when things were falling apart at the seams before the wedding, and she always looks you in the eye and tells you the positives about what you are going through. She asked for all our vendors’ numbers so she could call them or assist on the wedding day at any moment. She helped with the set up of the reception room and the flowers. She takes the time to know about your family dynamics to make sure she plays a roll in keeping a tactful eye on things for you so you don’t have to worry about any thing. Having TBP in our wedding was simply an amazing experience. She is not only professional but most importantly knows what she is doing. I highly recommend her services as the pictures are outstanding!

She recommends and suggests but also listens to the needs of the bride AND groom! which I appreciated very much :)

The hardest time we are having has been selecting the pictures as there are way too many good options for our album A+

Working with TBP was one of the easiest and most enjoyable tasks of the wedding. Tony is easygoing, yet very professional. She listens, asks questions, then formulates a plan with the client to meet their needs and expectations. Tonya combines traditional wedding poses with modern and more "artistic" poses that take advantage of the settings her couples have chosen to create a unique and perfect wedding album.

Tonya is nothing short of AMAZING and her pictures speak for themselves. She was the first vendor we met with and we knew instantly that she was "the one." Unlike many other photographers, she stays from the beginning to the very end. I'm so glad we booked when we did, she is so busy and it's not hard to see why. From our engagement session, to our wedding day, Tonya never failed to impress us. If I could do it all over again I would plan my wedding date around Tonya’s schedule, honestly. She was the glue that held everything together on our day. She went way above and beyond her job title in so many ways.

She has recently been married herself and was able to recommend some of the vendors we used. We are so lucky to have found Tonya and couldn't imagine having picked any one else to share in our special day. Her eye for detail and fun personality made taking pictures a breeze. I have been in several other weddings and have worked with other photographers that just don't compare. We received our pictures back within a month which is seriously unheard of. By far, this was the best decision and favorite vendor to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. I would highly recommend Tonya to any future bride, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Tonya for everything!
