Where do I even begin? Tomi is truly an expert at what he does and you can tell he loves every minute of it.
He is one of the best vendors my husband and I worked with. Tomi beautifully captured our special day, and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Not only is he an incredibly talented photographer, but he’s also kind, fun, and made everyone feel completely at ease in front of the camera.
We felt so comfortable with Tomi during both our engagement session and on our wedding day, which made such a difference. We highly recommend him and will absolutely be reaching out again for future photography! Thank you again, Tomi!!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Tomi. From start to finish, he was an absolute dream to work with. Not only is he incredibly talented behind the camera, but his creativity really shines through in every moment he captures. He has such a unique ability to take ordinary moments and turn them into something beautiful and memorable.
Throughout the entire planning process, Tomi was always available, responsive, and genuinely helpful. He made everything feel so much less stressful, which is such a gift during wedding planning. Whether we had questions, needed advice, or just reassurance, he was always there with a positive attitude and thoughtful guidance.
On the wedding day, he was prompt, professional, and brought such a fun, upbeat energy. The best ever!!
Our conversations with Tomi were never forced. Despite both my husband and I being introverts, we always felt comfortable with him. Because of that, we knew we needed someone exactly like Tomi to capture our special day.
Sure enough, he treated our family and friends kindly, kept everything organized, and delivered our photos exactly when he said he would. The photos are perfect, and I still don’t get tired of looking at them. We truly couldn’t have chosen a better photographer.
He was always so responsive and answered any questions we had. He always took our opinions into consideration and worked with us. We also had a videographer and Tomi was always so kind and professional. It made the whole processes so much smoother!
Tomi is so creative, artistic, and talented. He is truly doing what he is meant to do. We appreciate you so much, Tomi! -

Memories that feel like art
We found Tomi through a Facebook group and from the very first post I saw, I was immediately impressed and knew I wanted him as our wedding photographer. From the beginning, Tomi showed us just how special our experience would be—not only through his talent, but through his incredible personality and genuine care. He took the time to speak with us multiple times leading up to our wedding, making sure our personalities, expectations, and vision all aligned beautifully. That level of intention meant everything to us. The final product absolutely exceeded our expectations, and we receive nonstop compliments—several people have even told us our wedding photos look like they belong in a magazine. We couldn’t be happier and are so grateful we chose Tomi to capture such an important day. -

We would highly recommend anyone that is considering working with Tomi. We first heard about him and his work through other online recommendations, and quickly enjoyed the ease of his website and clear offerings. His packages aligned well with our budget and he was so responsive from the start, we knew we were on the right track. We had an engagement photo shoot with him first, and had some rescheduling due to weather. He was so helpful keeping a close eye on the weather and communicating with us to make sure we were all on the same page (because we had a bit of a drive to the location). Day of the shoot, me and my fiancé made the call to keep on schedule, even though it was pretty windy. Little did we know that we would endure insane winds up on the mountain view we picked. We ended up laughing the whole time and having so much fun with it, I think a huge part due to the energy that Tomi brings and his creativity to make things work. We loved the pictures, and even laugh at our hair swirling around in some of the photos. We met with Tomi a few times virtually to talk through our plans, shot lists, wedding day timeline, etc. He led us the whole way, because of course we haven’t planned such an event before. While we did do our homework, he did a great job assigning to us what we needed to think about and plan so he could give us exactly what we wanted in the end. On the day of our wedding, Tomi was prompt and ready to go. He even snagged some images that we may have been in too much of a whirlwind to realize or remember on our own. Our pictures are just stunning, and we have SO many of them. We just loved the creativity, catching the perfect moments, and candid nature of our pictures. Even our guests were having a blast with him, and we’ve had many tell us how cool our photographer was. It was amazing to see our guests connect with him in this way, and I think it made for more awesome snaps as well. He also did a great job with the kiddos, keeping their attention and getting their perfect smiles. Thanks Tomi! 10/10 would recommend. -

Working with Tomi was easy and fun and the final product was beautiful! We have him booked for our engagement and wedding photos, and in the engagement session we felt very prepared for with Tomi's guidance and excitement for us. We had such a blast!! He made us feel very comfortable and relaxed, really ourselves for our time together! The pictures themselves are STUNNING and we couldn't be happier with the whole process! I would definitely recommend using Tomi as your photographer in any event you may have as you are guaranteeing high quality phots of you and your significant other or family at their best and having fun while doing it! -

Awesome photographer
Tomi was great from start to finish. He really wanted to take the time to get to know us a little bit and have a couple zoom meetings before the big day to talk everything over. He was very polite, while still with a sense of humor. He had great photo ideas and was always directing us on our poses, so we didn’t have to overthink anything. The pictures all came out gorgeous and he even had them ready sooner than we had hoped! Would 10/10 recommend. -

Highly recommend Tomi
I am notoriously bad at taking pictures. My eyes are always closed, my smile looks fake and forced, and overall you can tell that I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. However, none of these qualities are seen in any of my wedding photos. Tomi made us feel relaxed, comfortable, and we even had fun taking pictures. Throughout the whole wedding he was working constantly to capture the story of the day, documenting every key moment, and was working the room while still having his chill and fun-loving spirit. The quality of the photo speak for themselves, despite the very harsh Colorado Sun with little to no clouds that day, the lighting in the photos are spot on. We are super happy that we picked Tomi, from our interactions with him leading up to the wedding where he really listened to what we wanted our experience to be, to day of, and quick turn around afterwards. I found Tomi to be comforting, fun, and easy to be around, the kind of person you want to have around on your wedding day. Our guests also commented on how great he was and how amazing the photos came out. I would highly recommend Tomi for your photo needs. -

We had an incredible experience working with Tomi for our proposal and engagement session. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond, starting with a FaceTime call before we even booked to discuss our vision, location, and details. That personal touch immediately made us feel confident in our choice.
Leading up to the proposal, Tomi was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even adjusting our session time on the day of due to the weather. His flexibility and professionalism made the entire process stress-free.
One of the things we really appreciated about working with Tomi was how he took us to multiple beautiful spots throughout Rocky Mountain National Park. Each location showcased the park’s stunning scenery, adding so much depth and variety to our photos.
Beyond just taking photos, Tomi brought such a positive energy to our session. His enthusiasm and warmth made us feel comfortable and genuinely joyful, which truly shows in the pictures. On top of that, he struck the perfect balance between capturing romantic, intimate moments and fun, lighthearted shots, ensuring our photos reflected the full range of emotions from our special day.
And speaking of the pictures, they were absolutely stunning. He captured every emotion and detail beautifully, giving us memories we will cherish forever.

200% Recommend! Amazing Photographer at an Affordable Price
We booked Tomi Photopositive for our October 2024 wedding in Genesee Park, Colorado, and got exactly what all of his other perfect reviews rave about; Relentless compassion and positivity, regular and professional communication, timeliness in every regard, and of course an amazing collection of photos we get to cherish for the rest of our lives.
We struggled to find an affordable photographer for our simple and small wedding. Some quotes came in exorbitantly high. One even wanted us to sign a contract before we could even schedule a virtual meet & greet to see if we'd all vibe. We found Tomi on Wedding wire, and we loved his portfolio (and his pricing almost seemed too good to be true based on his work), so we reached out. We set up a zoom call, and it was clear right away that Tomi loves what he does, and that he cares about his clients. This initial meeting was everything a nervous couple could hope for, it silenced much of the fear of booking someone we knew very little about. Though not included in the wedding photography package, we booked an engagement session with Tomi. I am so glad we did! It was worth every penny! Aside from great photos themselves, it gave us a good feel for how he works ahead of the wedding. Plus, it was fun, and we got some great shots!
Tomi will go out of his way for his clients. One example is that he had never been to our venue (Chief Hosa Lodge - if you're looking for a wedding of 35-65 guests) before, so he went to the venue before the wedding to get a feel for all the best spots. He did this on his own time, and did not charge us extra for it.
While we had originally hoped for a sunny day and sunset photos overlooking the mountains, we got snow and fog. Tomi seized the opportunity and turned the "disappointing" weather into one of the more memorable aspects of our day.
For any couple who is considering not using a photographer, we strongly caution against it. we originally wanted to go that route or was looking for someone cheap ( -

After having an initial conversation with Tomi and reviewing some galleries he sent us, we felt confident that we would get along with him and that we were in good hands for our wedding photos. We had a themed wedding, so we wanted a photographer who was excited about our vision, and Tomi exceeded our expectations. We were not big photo people so we hired him to do an engagement shoot beforehand to help us get to know each other and what to expect. We had some unconventional ideas for pictures that Tomi rolled with easily, while also encouraging us to do some more traditional shots, which we ended up loving. On the day of the wedding, before the ceremony, I was very nervous and not in the most receptive mood. Tomi was quite the professional, encouraging me to take some photos of the before process, while also giving me space to get over my nerves. The pictures turned out wonderfully and we were so happy with them. Tomi was always punctual and easy to communicate with. He delivered the photos exactly when he said he would. As it was our first time getting married, it was great to have such an experienced professional to guide us through his part of the process and we have photos of our wedding that we will treasure for years to come. -

Feeling all the feels when looking at his work
Tomi is the most authentic photographer you will find. He captures everything perfectly, and is incredibly creative. His work will never cease to amaze you. Not only is his photography top notch, his personality goes right along side with it. We had the pleasure of working with Tomi, not once, but twice. He did our engagement photos and we honestly didn’t think he could possibly top them. However, our wedding photos are absolutely stunning. He is super flexible and wants to make your day special. He is very personable and felt like a part of the community/family by the end of the night. He’s devoted and loves what he does, you can see it when working with him and after in his work. Tomi is the reason our day went so smoothly. We eloped in Rocky Mountain National Park and wanted something that felt like us. He made sure to help us figure out exactly where we wanted to do everything, gave us suggestions of places to look into and had spots ready to capture when we entered. It was MORE than perfect. phenomenal Rocky Mountain Photographer
My fiancé gave me 3 photographers to look at for our wedding. When I saw Tomi, even my picky side was sold. His photography work is amazing and his communication with us before the wedding was great! He even helped us with our timeline and outline for photos. We had a big venue and were worried about sticking to our timeline and getting the photos we wanted. He took the photos so quickly and got so many photos of us! Many of his ideas took us out of our comfort zone, but ended up being some incredible shots, and he made it extremely fun to do them. Tomi is an amazing photographer. Through his camera he caught all of the emotions of our wedding. He was easy to work with, had a great attitude, was highly responsive, and remained calm during all of the wedding chaos. Fun, accommodating, GREAT product!
Working with Tomi was so much fun and a blessing. When our destination wedding in the Rocky Mountains fell through, Tomi was so supportive in accommodating a change in ideas for our photography session with him. We completed graduation portraits, engagement portraits, and a few family portraits during our session. Tomi made us both feel comfortable during the photo session, which was very helpful for two awkward people! We had fun, received great feedback on how to pose, and found Tomi to be just a wonderful soul to spend the day with. We are SO happy with the finished photos. Tomi asked us for about 10 days to edit and finalize his work, but we received our photos sooner than expected. I cannot even begin to describe the amazing experience we had with Tomi but I am going to try!
Looking for a wedding photographer can be extremely overwhelming, searching from site to site. When I stumbled across Tomi’s page, something just clicked and I felt confident in my choice to pursue securing him.
Tomi was super responsive from the get go. Setting up our first meet and greet very quickly. From our first call, we became fast friends. I explained our want for many non traditional aspects of the wedding day and he was up for the challenges. All of our calls were more like friends catching up than a service agreement.
The day of the wedding was perfect. He was so friendly and accommodating, hands on and just so much fun to be around. He worked with us at our pace and gave plenty of pic options. My guests absolutely adored him and he became fast friends with many! Even got some push-ups out of a few of them!
He was very fast with the turnaround of the pictures and there were no words for how amazing they are. I cried. The love he captured that day, I can never say thank you enough.
Tomi, from start to finish, you were amazing. Thank you so much for everything you did to capture so many amazing moments on our day. I am so happy we met! You are the best!

Incredible!
I truly can not recommend Tomi enough. He is so incredible to work with! He arrived on time, prepared, and with a great attitude. He is so fun and positive to be around and is your hype man the entire day. Not to mention, his incredible work and skill. I tried so hard to only pick a few of my absolute favorites to share. Professional, talented, and outgoing!
We can’t recommend Tomi enough! He is professional, kind, fun, and creative. Everyone at our wedding, from our rowdy friends to our grandparents, made a point to mention how personable and professional Tomi was. He took a mix of posed and candid photos, and Tomi sent us our gallery with more pictures than originally planned in only a few weeks.
