A beautiful storyteller

We all have heard the phrase, "A picture is worth a thousand words" Tomas Ramos is truly a storyteller with his breathtaking photos. He photographed our daughters wedding which we had to change the venue 6 weeks before the wedding during a pandemic and photograph in between Hurricane rain bands. However, Tomas and his team are true professionals and everything was seamless with the videography and photography. Video was extremely important to our daughter and he truly captured the couples style and the magic of the wedding day. The couple wanted certain exterior shots on the venue grounds; Tomas and his team made sure these were taken literally in between rain showers. Tomas is a genius with lighting and captured some amazing photos that could be hung up in any art gallery around the world. If you are looking for a professional and creative photographer, you will be pleased with Tomas Ramos. We highly recommend him for any special event. We have now used him for our daughter’s wedding and a business event.

Just Amazing

Tomas is absolutely wonderful. He makes you feel like family and his work speaks for itself. We never had to worry about photo and video because Tomas had it all covered and knew exactly how to make our memories last forever. We love him and anyone that uses him will think the same.

So Much Fun!

Just Amazing!!!!

Tomas is so sweet and personable. He makes you feel relaxed, and comfortable. I had him do our engagement, bridals, and wedding. He was so fabulous! Fast turn around, fun in the moment images, he is great with lighting, and so artsy!

Absolute joy to work with! Positive and fun attitude!

Tomas was such an absolute joy to work with! His positive spirit and joyful nature really made a difference on my special day. I loved how professional he was- and he really gave it his all. It was raining when we were supposed to be taking pictures outside with the bridal party and he still created awesome photos even in the worst scenario. You can’t go wrong with Tomas! His photos are unique and the best quality! I would hire him over and over again! :)

Amazing person, amazing photos!

Tomas has the biggest heart and radiates joy. We truly enjoyed working with him! He always made us smile and captured unique moments. The guests at our wedding felt like he was family and commented how great of a person he is. I would 100% recommend Tomas Ramos Photography for anyone looking for a photographer who is flexible and easy to work with. He has a lot of experience with a variety of cultures and captures each moment from a beautiful angle. We absolutely loved our pictures and the quality of the photographs. Las Velas Wedding

We got married this past December and were looking forward to seeing our pictures after our honeymoon. Tomas and his partner were very professional during the wedding and we have certainly enjoyed going though and selecting photos for our book. We are really looking forward to seeing our wedding videos!

So professional and exceptional pictures

Professional staff that takes great photos. Got the pictures back quick, can't wait to see the video. Our families that couldn't make it to the wedding love getting to see all the details they captured from the getting ready moments to the sparkler exit.

There is no words to describe the pictures of my son's wedding. They are absolutely breathtaking. I would recommend them again & again to anyone looking to capture the perfect moments. The staff was great and easy to work with. They did everything as asked. The service was outstanding and like I said words cannot describe how beautiful these pictures are of the most special day of my son and is bride.

This was the best experience of the wedding and my husband had a great time during the portrait session. We started with margaritas and we had a blast during the shoot. The pictures are out of this World and I would like to write more reviews if it was possible

Tomas and Misty were absolutely amazing! Words cannot express how grateful I am to have met them and hired Tomas as my photographer. Everything from the first appointment to the day of the wedding was wonderful. Misty answered every email and phone call quickly and Tomas was also available when we needed him. Not to mention that the work he does is gorgeous. Pictures are the only thing that's left from the wedding day and I am glad I picked Tomas.

This company is simply amazing! Tomas has such a great personality - He did a wonderful job with our engagement shoot and we are so excited to see our pictures from the wedding. He is not your "posey, posey" Photographer. His style is very natural - making his work simply fantastic. Our families loved Tomas and his entire staff - he made us feel comfortable. His staff is very flexible and willing to work with you. Misty - assisted us in organizing all the events, choosing music, etc. This company has really impressed me and trust me you won't be disappointed if you hire them!

Unbelievable quality. Watching Tomas Ramos in action is like watching something you've never seen. He is able to capture emotion of the day and of the person on film that cameras themselves can't pick up. He was a delight to work with. Truly one of the best in the industry.

Tomas Ramos Photography was the first photographer that I met when I started looking for one. After researching all the others out there, his work was still the one that we loved the most. His service is always professional, prompt, and flexible. All of our friends and family loved the pictures (said it looked like something out of a magazine). We love our video as well. For me, pictures are the only memories left after a beautiful wedding. I wanted the best photography and videography. I first found out about Tomas Ramos Photography at a local Houston bridal event show. He was one of three photographers there but his pictures were the only ones I was drawn to. Still, I went through an additional 30 or so photographers in the Houston and Texas area. I kept coming back to Tomas Ramos and my family and I finally decided to finalize with him. BEST DECISION EVER!!!! Tomas Ramos is one of the most talented photographers I have met, and he is truly an artist. You can see his passion in photography through all his pictures. And the rest of his crew is just as talented and wonderful!! We had a huge Indian wedding, and despite all the events and people, I still got all desired pictures and shots in with my husband and both of our giant families!
Thank you so much Tomas Ramos for everything! We simply can't wait until we see the final product but we know it will be treasured for decades!!

Tomas was the wedding photographer at my sisters' wedding this past weekend. Hands down, the BEST photographer I have ever seen; I haven't even seen his work but solely based on his charisma and approach I am confident I am going to be blown away with the photos once we receive them.

We had a relatively large group of guests at the wedding, many of which took quite some time to pay attention for all the photography. Tomas never got irritated, and was consistently smiling throughout the night despite the circumstances.

Aside from that, you can really tell he loves what he does - his approach to photography makes you as a host excited to take pictures and be a part of the show!

All in all, I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Tomas Ramos was not only one of the MOST important parts of my wedding day, he was also one of the VERY BEST parts of the entire process. Tomas is the photographer you want for your wedding or special event! Choosing a photographer was one of the hardest things during the wedding planning process, and we are SO happy we chose Tomas Ramos. From the beginning, Misty was always available and able to answer all of our questions. We had a destination wedding in Mexico, the photos turned out to be amazing!! We saw details and moments on his photos that we missed! We loved that he really captures emotions in his photos. He is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable, we had a 'trash the dress' session the day after the wedding and it was so much fun, he is very creative! Everyone who has seen our pictures say that they look like pictures from a magazine. We HIGHLY recommend Tomas Ramos if you are looking for a friendly, professional photographer.

I would recommend Tomas Ramos Photography wholeheartedly to any bride looking for her wedding day photographer. From our very first interaction with Misty at their office, we always felt taken care of. Misty sat down with us, asked what our needs were and then worked with us to customize a package that covered everything we needed within our budget. There was no "This is our package and anything else is extra." Part of our package included a Bridal Portrait Session with Tomas, and while I originally hadn't even planned on doing that, the pictures turned out beyond amazing and Tomas was a blast to work with. We were lucky enough to have Tomas again on our wedding day and what a blessing he was! He was on time and started with taking pictures of all the little things, which turned out great. The entire day Tomas seemed to be everywhere at once, capturing not only the big moments, but lots of things that I never would have gotten to see. Everyone loved him and even now, over a month later people are still telling me how much they liked my photographer. We always had great communication with Misty, absolutely all of our questions were answered almost right away. Finally, and most importantly, we are left with over 1600 simply stunning pictures of our big day that are everything we wanted and more. If you are searching for a photographer, STOP LOOKING and use Tomas Ramos Photography.

It was an incredible experience working with Mr. Ramos. Any photographer can take a picture but his ability and talent to capture the smallest of detail is astounding. It was very fun working with Mr. Ramos, he had a great attitude and was very pleasant to work with. His attention to detail, composition and lighting, time of day and his artistic elements is remarkable. Couldn't ask for a better photographer and videographer. I highly recommend him and will only use his services in the future.

We used Tomas Ramos photo and video and our photos and videos are absolutely breathtaking!!! From the moment I meet Misty, I knew I wanted them to photograph our wedding. Tomas is truly gifted in capturing life into his photos! Every picture tells a story and he is such a pleasure to work with!!! Our pictures exceeded all my expectations! We cannot stop looking at them! Misty was so organized and responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with! Our wedding video highlights were magnificent!! After one day we had over 500 hits!! It was obvious the time and creativity that was put into making our video! The quality of the photos and the videos were amazing and I am so thankful for this team to be able to capture our wedding memories on photo and film! Tomas is an artist! I am not sure how else to explain it. The professionalism and service could not have been any better! We love his creativity and charismatic personality. it most certainly made us feel more comfortable when we were insecure about taking photographs (we're both camera shy). Misty is also very flexible and will work with you on everything...which made our experience far beyond the "excellent" ratings i can give to them.

We are beyond satisfied with the quality of work by Mr. Ramos and his entire team. My wedding happened to be on one of the busiest days of the entire year and he was on time for each event all over Houston. As a bride, I was nervous and anxious, but Tomas kept me very calm and captured amazing shots of us before each event. Additionally, they provided our wedding reception guest sign-in book and enlargement on very short notice. Amazing staff and photography! Misty and Tomas are a dream to work with.
From the very beginning I knew I wanted Tomas to be my photographer -his work is amazing! Pricing was super reasonable, the level of service and flexibility were superb and I can't wait to show off my pictures to my family.
Tomas is so easy to work with and just gets it. He puts everyone at ease and guides you through his creative process.

As a first time bride I was very nervous and questioning myself thought out wedding planning. From the first meeting Thomas and his team made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I had wonderful time at bridal portrait shoot and even my husband who initially felt awkward posing for pictures had a great time at engagement photo session. I was apprehensive at first about the initial cost associated with his service, but as my husband and I had the pleasure of working with Thomas and seeing his professional artistic touch it became apparent the value we were getting for our dollar. We could not be more pleased with out photos. Looking forward to seeing our wedding album. These pictures sure to become a family treasure.

Tomas Ramos Photography were very friendly from the start. I appreciated Tomas' enthusiasm for his work and that was evident during our engagement pictures. As for my wedding, the photographer for this event was extremely flexible. Whatever pictures/poses we suggested were valued and welcomed. My fiancé had lots of great shots of him and his groomsmen because of this. Overall, Tomas Ramos Photography were attentive to our wants.

Tomas was absolutely a blessing to have at our wedding. He was very professional yet fun and interactive with the bridal party and our guest! I don't think there was a moment that he missed. He captured every detail possible. The pictures came out amazing and we are so happy he was able to shoot our heavenly day. Misty, his assistant, was also a perfect addition to this company. She as well, was great to work with and helped make the process smooth and stress free. We are so very thankful for them both! I highly recommend their services!!! Stunning is an understatement ! I met Tomas as a friends wedding, I saw him working and was very impressed. I met him at his office and instantly knew this was the person that I would trust my wedding day to. The service I have received is amazing, very responsive to all my phone calls and emails, they are the easiest vendor that I worked with. All I can say is WOW! Tomas is the best of the best, and I am so pleased that my special day was shot by him. Misty, in the office, is so sweet and professional. When my husband and I came across Tomas work we were overwhelmed by his ability to captivate such beautiful pictures!! He is incredibly artistic. We knew we wanted Tomas to be our wedding photographer since our meeting with him. He has a huge passion for his profession and he demonstrates it through his pictures. Let me start off my saying Tomas took ALL of our pictures himself! Engagement, Bridals & Wedding photography/videography. He worked with our budget and gave us a great package that we could not pass up. Tomas was professional, friendly, very flexible and easy to work. He took the time to listen what we wanted and not only captured AMAZING pictures, but made us feel comfortable during the process. His photography is pure art! I used Tomas for my wedding and in the end did a full package: engagement, bridal portrait prewedding, wedding photography and videography. I really don’t know that you find people generally in life as great as Tomas. When he’s with you, he’s 1110% with you and he cares first and foremost about making you happy. He’ll step in to help with things he’s not all required to do, he traveled out of town for my bridal portrait at what I felt was more than fair. It’s easy to be comfortable with you and it’s clear he loves what he does. I say all of that before I even speak about his product because I believe his spirit, ethic and attitude are what makes his work so great. He captured great photos for all the events and can't wait to see our videography!

Tomas is gifted with the briliance of a great master, and extraordinary professional savvy--but, more, he is a passionate student of human nature and experience. My husband and I have a contract for photo and video with A&A Video and Tomas Ramos Photography but we were unable to use their wonderful services due to tragic reasons. So both companies have agreed to honor our contract for another couple we refer that is interested. We negotiated a really good package deal and we would like to extend the contract over to you! Tomas was great to work with. He was very flexible and we were able to customize a package to include the things we wanted or change what we didn't want. He is very soft-spoken and gentle and very easy to work with. He took wonderful pictures of our wedding day in the photojournalistic style we wanted, but was never "in our faces" during the wedding/reception. I would highly recommend him.

I LOVE Tomas and his wife Misty! They are sweet, professional and very responsive. They also guided me through the entire process and made my Harry Potter portrait session come true. Their pictures are very flattering and Tomas has amazing creativity! They were able to send me a highlight reel within a week for my quick turnaround for the photo booth. The only thing is, I went with a lower package where I didn't get Tomas for all my pictures. The guy that took my Catholic ceremony pictures did a below average job. His pictures were not level at all. If you can afford it, go for Tomas.

We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! We just bought our first home together and the photos he took of our wedding are everywhere because they are truly some of the best, most special pictures we have. He is friendly, helpful, and flexible to work with but also he takes AMAZING pictures. Having amazing pictures was a non-negotiable for us when wedding planning. It's one of the few aspects I put A LOT of research into. If you're the same way, you must go with Tomas.

Both Tomas and Misty were absolutely wonderful! They were very flexible before and during the wedding. Tomas was so inventive on our engagement shoot - which came WITH our wedding photography package (such a great deal!) - and we got those photos back pretty quickly! We were on a max $1500 budget for our wedding photographer. We were introduced to Tomas Ramos Photography at a bridal show and Mr. Ramos came highly recommended by a close family friend. What appealed to us most about this photographer over others was the advertised "journalistic photography," as neither my husband nor I are comfortable in front of a camera and we wanted our pictures to look more natural. Luckily, their basic package fit right within our budget and our contact person, Misty, was delightful during the coordination process and thereafter. However, I guess you get what you pay for and we ended up with a substitute photographer, rather than Mr. Ramos himself. Although we look great in most of the pictures and despite our photographer having a pleasant personality, the consensus is that our pictures mostly look exactly the same because we were posing in all of them per the assigned photographer's instructions; something we wanted to avoid when choosing this particular company. Also, about 1/4 of the shots were taken in such a way that the photographs were either cut off in a strange way or hard to frame in a standard frame without chopping off an arm or a foot. That being said, in the end we walked away with plenty of good shots to chose from, so overall we are happy. As an aside, the offices of Tomas Ramos Photography are lovely if you need a place to take your pictures. We opted out only because of convenience to our venue.

Tomas is awesome! He has so much energy and a great personality that really makes the day fun. He is full of ideas for unique photos and is willing to try anything! We had a long wedding day with multiple events from morning till midnight and both Tomas and Misty worked with us to create the perfect package to cover all the events. Since it's only been 4 wks we haven't gotten our photos yet, but I am sure they will be excellent based on the examples weve seen online and at their office.

Overall, our experience with Tomas Ramos Photography was excellent. We had the pleasure of Mr. Ramos being our photographer for our Engagement session. He displayed the epitome of professionalism and kindness. When we received our pictures, I was even more pleased with the experience. However, I was eventually informed that the would not be photographing our wedding, but one with just as great of skills would be. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The photographs served their purpose of providing memories, but definitely nothing I was wowed with or felt I was getting my paid value as with our Engagement session. Our wedding photographer lacked the artistic eye and refined qualities of Mr. Ramos. I would have much rather the refined photographs for the wedding instead of the engagement session.

Overall, I would definitely recommend them, but now I know I should have asked to see a portfolio before agreeing. If I had, I would have definitely asked for someone else.

We went with Tomas Ramos because when we met with them we felt they were personable and would truly capture our special moments. We put our trust into them doing our love story, wedding highlights, and photography. When we viewed the videography they ensured us we would get the same quality as those videos, however we were very disappointed in the quality of their work.

We filmed our love story 6 months prior to our wedding date. It had been a couple of months and we hadn't received the love story. The videographer gave us his number, so we contacted him. He responded telling us his contract with Tomas Ramos was over and he already gave them the video. We called and emailed Misty to get the love story. She didn’t respond. We continued to email and call leaving messages, but never got a response. Finally called from a different number and got a hold of her 2 months before the wedding. That’s when we found out of love story was terrible and needed to reshoot it. I did appreciate her being honest, however this was pretty stressful especially since my fiancé was in another state. We ended up reshooting the love story, which was alright. There were odd moments in the video and the voice-overs didn’t really match with the scenes from the video.

We got photos 3 months after the wedding, but not the highlights. We kept emailing and finally got the highlights 5 months after the wedding. I cried when I saw the highlights, they were awful. First off, the highlights per contract were supposed to be 12-15 min, instead was 7 min. The songs we chose weren’t in it, instead had songs I’ve never heard before. We contacted Misty and she said they would re-edit the video. We asked if they could add a couple of things. They did add those things, but it felt they just added it into the video and didn’t really flow. We spent a lot of money on their services , and we feel we didn’t get our money’s worth. Sad to say we don't even want to watch the videos.

My husband and I were married in November 2015 in San Antonio, TX. We found Tomas through a wedding planning website and he had high ratings. In the beginning, Tomas and Misty, his wife and manager, seemed friendly and responsive. We had a traditional 3-day Indian wedding. At the first event, we were greeted by 3 people, neither of whom were Misty or Tomas. We had only spoken to them up until then, and at no point did they indicate that Tomas would not be the principal photographer. Still, we assumed the 2 photographers and 1 videographer were part of his team and also highly qualified.
8 weeks after our wedding, we had heard nothing from Tomas or his team. Since our contract said we would receive a gallery by this time, we reached out and the next day, Misty sent a link to our gallery. In it, we found a collection of 2000+ photos that in no way reflected his previously advertised work. The pictures were badly lit, badly composed, and appeared completely amateur. Without exaggeration, it looked like an inexperienced family member went around our wedding and did their best.
We called Tomas and Misty, and after repeatedly ignored calls and emails, Tomas finally responded, assuring us that what we received were "just proofs" of some sort and not the actual pictures. About 3-4 weeks later, we received ONLY 25 "edited" images. 25 images. Out of 2000 photos. Importantly, these “edited” photos are no better.

TERRIBLE COMPANY TO WORK WITH!!!!! Initially, they were very easy to work with & very responsive. We had a destination wedding and thought they were going to be great to work with. However, once the wedding was over, it was very difficult to get a hold of Misty. We heard several excuses as to why it was taking so long to get our pictures. We in fact were and still are missing several pictures!!! She was able to retrieve a few from the photographer, Manny, but there are some still missing. She never returns our phone calls nor answer them when we do call (caller Id maybe?). We are never able to get a hold of Manny for the pictures either. It took them nearly 6 months of hassling before we got pictures and even then they were not the complete set.

The pictures that we got weren't that great either. There were very few where we felt like we hired a photographer to take some awesome pictures. We now feel like we should have just had our family take pictures instead and save $$ if these were how they were going to turn out. We really feel like we were lied to. Still regret this decision, unfortunately.

They were really hard to work with. We were even promised a "complimentary wedding album" since we had to deal with so much to even get our pictures. Of course we never got that.

Terrible company to work with. I have told others to not work with them. Even if we could hear back from them and they can acknowledge the fact that we still are not done with our business transaction, maybe we can work a little bit with them.

Our videography was great but he no longer is with Tomas Ramos and has gone to another company. His name is Samir. He did great!!
